We are so happy we decided on The Westin for our wedding venue! It's value and quality of service is unbeatable in the Washington DC area. We worked with Grace Radfar who was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process! She ensured all our questions were answers and requests were met. Our guests had a blast at the wedding and were so impressed with the food! We would recommend this venue to anyone in the area!

Our wedding at the Westin was absolutely perfect! I dealt with Grace Radfar (the catering coordinator) for the entire planning process and she was a delight to work with. Accommodating, friendly, easy to work with, just wonderful. She and the hotel staff handled everything, including things I hadn't even thought of. The day went by so smoothly, I couldn't believe how easy it all was. I got so many compliments from our guests about how nice the hotel was. We couldn't take advantage of all the beautiful scenery around the hotel due to the weather, but it's so beautiful for photos. The cost of having our wedding here was so affordable for venues in the Nova area, I was so relieved when I finally found the Westin. The value is amazing for what we paid. Book the Westin!

We had our wedding reception at the Westin in October. Honestly I did a lot of planning, but was nervous about how the "day of" coordination would go. I did not have a wedding planner of my own, so I only had the coordinator, Erin, from the Westin. Every time I sent her an email, she was extremely responsive, and any time I had a concern, she was able to work with me so that the day would be exactly as I wanted. Everything went so smoothly, I didn't have to coordinate my vendors at all - just gave them some basic instructions and gave them Erin's contact info. When I showed up to my reception, it was exactly what I had hoped for!

We held our reception at the Westin, and it was absolutely amazing! Although we had a couple of mix ups, they were fast and responsive to fix them. The hotel itself is gorgeous and made for an amazing picture and party location. The chef is incredible, and prepares high quality food! In fact, he even accommodated my gluten and nut allergies and made the entire reception gluten free! We got so many compliments about the food and it was so nice knowing that I didn't have to worry about any food issues. Throughout the evening, the servers constantly checked in on my husband and I and made sure we were well taken care of. The Westin was also so accommodating to my family. They provided an additional suite for my parents for the night of the event and accommodated additional rooms at the wedding rate after the block had officially closed. The only thing I wish was that we had our complimentary champagne and goodies in our suite at the end of the night. The hotel staff seemed a little confused about which room we were staying in, and we didn't have all the luxuries we were supposed to get at the end of the evening. My parents, however, had wine and a cheese platter in their room.

Grace Radfar, the director of catering, was delightful to work with! She was quick to answer emails, set up all of our items at the reception, and kept the event running smoothly the entire night! I'm so glad that we went with the Westin for our reception!

Westin was such a wonderful venue and they were extremely pleasant to work with. We found everything off our checklist here at the Westin Dulles - ability to have a late night party & drinks, open bar, beautiful outdoor space for the procession of the groom, modern chic hotel & hotel rooms for our guests, and best of all - they have only one large ballroom - so we had the run of the place!

The Westin was amazing throughout the entire process of planning our wedding. They were extremely supportive and accommodating of all of our requests. The day of the wedding, the staff decorated wonderfully, and they were extremely polite and accommodating for all guests. I would highly recommend this venue!

The hall is very beautiful, especially after you decorate it. It's very spacious. The entrance to the hotel was very beautiful and made it a beautiful venue for my wedding reception. The complimentary bridal suite and the fact that you can book rooms for your guests at the same hotel was very convenient and an added advantage. We booked for 250 people but we had the entire ballroom, with a huge dance floor.

The event coordinator at Westin took care of all the details. She was prompt in replying to us and we could contact her anytime with questions. She made sure everything was set in place on the day of the event.

The contract was straight forward and clean (no fine print). All in all, it was a great experience working with Westin and I'm glad I went with this venue for my Wedding Reception.

My wife and I fell in love with the Westin Dulles when we drove out to see it! It was secluded way back behind an apartment complex, there is a beautiful little lake with a fountain in the middle and a gorgeous stone bridge that we loved. We worked with Selma Cuadros and she was fantastic. She actually had to take over for our original wedding planner, who had left only 2 months into our contract agreement. Selma made sure everything we had been promised in the beginning was honored and went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure everything was perfect.

The Executive Chef is traditionally Italian trained and he allowed us to make some changes to there standard dinner plates, which we came to find out he was just as excited to make the changes as we were in asking for them. He also made several mini Italian desserts for our dessert table and to top the whole thing off. He made 6 special desserts just for my wife and I as well as 2 special appetizers that no one else got. Truly first class service and first class food.

Great venue. The accommodated us for all 4 days of our Indian wedding. Really a nice hotel and its pretty quite. This isnt a giant hotel and its int he middle of an office park area. So, if you're having a wedding there over a weekend, we'll mostly have the place to yourself given that they don't have a lot of ballroom space (if you're wedding is over 150 people you'll likely use up all that is there), so no competing events. Its close to Dulles and there is a free airport shuttle -- this was clutch for us in helping get our many national and international out of town guests to and from the airport without meaning one of us had to go get them. They have this very picturesque bridge that was great for our baarat and they do a lot of Indian weddings there, so they know what to expect. Be warned though - if you use the bridge for the baarat, the rent-a-cop from the parking lot across the way may come over and throw a fit. We just told him to F*** off, call the cops if he wanted (I mean seriously, what would the real cops do if they got there - tell the guy to calm down and quit being a power tripping asshat). Not a big deal though and totally not the hotel's fault. They have a hospitality suite we reserved all weekend which was great for the guests. Very accommodating staff. They worked great with the vendors (DJ, Caterer, etc.) (If you're doing an Indian wedding get Bollywood Bistro for catering, amazing food and that guys in tight with the Westin so they give him access to the kitchen which allows him to do some work on site.) Good bar and restaurant on premise too. Nothing negative to say, they were a pleasure to work with and it was a great venue for our approx 150 person Indian wedding.

It was pleasure working with Kristi on our very special day. She was there the whole time and made sure everything was perfect. Thank you very much Kristi to make our day special.

Overall, my wife and I were very happy with our decision to have our wedding at the Westin Dulles Airport. We initially chose it because there was only one ballroom, meaning it would primarily be our guests staying at the hotel that weekend (because it is in a business district) and because of its convenience to Dulles Airport (most of our guests were from out of town). They are very organized the day of, everything worked out very smoothly. Selma, the hotel coordinator, did a great job during the day of to ensure everything ran smoothly since we did not have a wedding coordinator. The rooms were fantastic, and the rates are very reasonable, giving our guests a great stay with great amenities. Additionally, because we had an indian wedding, it had a perfect location for the Baraat. Our only complaint was that we did not like the "chandeliers" in the main ballroom, the room was obviously built with business contacts in mind, and not about weddings. But with a great decorator, you can mask those. They were also very flexible with our party to keep the bar open after hours and let us use their space afterwards if anyone wanted to continue celebrating. Overall, we were very happy with this location and everything it had to offer.

The Westin was a great venue for a wedding event. They made the process easy and worry free and Selma made sure our evening was planned to perfection and extra special!

The whole experience was amazing. The reception hall is beautiful. Kristi was very helpful and prompt with all our requests. She made sure all our suggestions were accomodated. She was there all day with us and even helped us with the decorations and all. Everyone was very professional and beyond helpful. Highly recommend this venue for weddings and other functions!!

I had a wonderful wedding reception at the Westin. Working with Kristi was great. She listened to our needs and helped make our wedding memorable. We have ample space at the venue for our wedding events. They were flexible with our last minute space request and were very helpful on the day of our event. The hotel is very modern and very clean.

We used this venue for our rehearsal dinner and our guests stayed at the hotel. Additionally, they provided shuttle service to and from our venue for the wedding party.
The food was excellent! The server and bar tender did an excellent job and the hotel team and bartenders were great! Recommend this venue as a great hotel for group.

The Westin was amazing throughout the entire process of planning our wedding. Even though our original hotel/wedding coordinator left, Erin Markey did a wonderful job taking over the duties. She was very supportive and accommodated all our requests. The day of the wedding, the staff was wonderful and the food was great!! All our guests were very happy. I would highly recommend this venue!

Westin was very professional and was very helpful when we had any questions or concerns. I would def. recommend this venue for future events!

I recently held my wedding ceremony and reception at the Westin Washington Dulles and couldn't be more pleased. The Westin was able to accommodate all of my requests from additional hotel rooms to personal touches during our reception. This hotel is still fairly new (only 4 years old). The staff are friendly and attentive and the hotel itself was very clean and organized. I loved the fact that there was free parking and a free 24-hour shuttle to and from the airport. We did have a few mix-ups the weekend of the wedding but the hotel quickly stepped in and addressed any issues or concerns.
Tip: Negotiate. Since they're a smaller hotel, they can be pretty flexible for certain items and are willing if you just ask.

Westin Washington Dulles provided us with a beautiful and convenient wedding location. The proximity to Dulles Airport was greatly appreciated by our out-of-town guests. Everyone loved the hotel accommodations. The wedding planner was professional and helped us plan a beautiful reception. Everything went smoothly.

I loved the look of the Westin Dulles and with the package that they gave us, I settled on this location. I would have liked if there was more photo opportunity outside, but the inside made up for it and we improvised! There was some confusion here and there about contract items, but all the details worked out in the end. Overall my contacts were really receptive. The chef was great and the food was tasty. The tasting was really nice too. Only problems were the entree was slightly off the day of the wedding. My guests wouldn't have known it, but I did. Also, the right dishes weren't getting to the right place settings on all tables; which was more of a service issue and partially had to do with the wedding planner. Servers didn't follow-up on it; so I would recommend working with your hotel contact to develop a well thought out plan to execute this properly. The bar service was great and the cocktail tray service was perfect. My guests raved about the lemon drops. Kudos to the bartenders! Always check your final bill to make sure it reflects the accurate transactions. I am sure that the discrepancy was a misunderstanding. My hubby had to follow up about 3 times until our rewards points were applied. If I had to do it all over again, this venue would still be on the top of my list. Oh, and the florist they recommended turned out to be a real zero! My goal was to do this service by myself with the help of my friends and mother. I could have done a MUCH better job on my own.

I was pleased with the way our wedding and reception turned out for the most part, but getting there was stressful. The coordinator was not responsive to email or calls. She said she would have a quote for us for the tablecloths, napkins, etc. "tomorrow" in an email. I didn't get it until a month later. I would email questions and follow up with phone calls because other vendors needed information, but no response. I finally had to call the coordinator's boss Nancy to get to talk to her. I was so upset when she told me that our special cappuccino bar would go towards our minimum and then a week before the wedding said that it would not because they needed to find an outside vendor for that service. She should have said "I don't know let me check on that" before saying yes. They also never put out the coffee and tea that was included in our reception package and the coordinator was no where to be found after about the first hour. Overall, a nice venue but a headache to deal with. A bride has enough stress and the coordinator just didn't seem to care.
