Best wedding team in the country
Tonya is so well organized and passionate about her work she brought some much life and adventure to our wedding. Tonya didnt know anything about a norse pagan wedding but she did so much research that I actually learned somethings from her Shawn her husband has to be the best DJ I have ever seen he had us dance all night till we dropped love these people hope they can make your special day as wonderful as ours -

First off, the wedding went by in the blink of an eye! I think a wedding planner is something that most overlook because of cost, but it was 1000% worth it. On the day of the wedding we did not worry about linens, centerpieces, lighting, table arrangements, floral pick ups, wedding cake delivery, clean up, or valet services because Tonya & Trevor with Weddings of PGH took care of it all. We are blessed to have had you and your team at the wedding reception. Alyssa & I thank you from the bottom of our hearts and applaud the professionalism, work ethic, & friendship it created.

Making wedding dreams come true
Tonya went above and beyond to help us pull off our special day. We live in New Orleans so planning a wedding in Pittsburgh to be closer to my husband’s family required a lot of help. We also work long hours. Tonya had so much patience with us but kept us completely on track. Even though our wedding was small (30 guests), she made each part of the day so special. From helping us pull off a New Orleans Second Line, to making sure our guests arrived and made it home safely, to a penguin visit and planning an after party event, Tonya made it all happen. Put simply, you need Tonya and her 21 years of experience for your wedding! Looking back, I don’t know how we ever even considered pulling it off without her. Shortly after meeting her, I started to refer to her as my “Fairy Godmother”. She is the perfect mix of professional and fun, open-minded and detail-oriented. She eliminated so many of our worries with her calm reassurance. We had quite a few non traditional elements and “surprises” for our guests that she helped us pull off flawlessly. One of these involved having her and her daughter hide our Irish Dance Shoes outside of the Reception Tent and help us to discreetly put them on to surprise our guests with an Irish jig leading into our first dance. It’s worth mentioning that even if a ceremony or reception site has a coordinator, they work for the venue and not you as a couple. The peace of mind of having Tonya on your side to help you navigate the whole process is priceless. And it doesn’t hurt that her husband is an amazing DJ! 😉 -

I can't more highly recommend Tonya. It's 100 percent WORTH it to invest in wedding planning services, especially hers. She made the entire process so much easier for me.
My situation was that I live and work in Ohio, but was getting married in Johnstown, PA -- where actually neither my family or my finance's family live. We grew up on either side of PA, so this was a central location.
Tonya helped me find affordable vendors and from afar, she kept me on track via a detailed to-do-list and regular phone calls, emails and texts and a few in-person conversations, too, which included a visit to the venue we chose.
Also prior to the wedding, she gave me advice on how to manage bridal party issues, helped plan my bridal shower and set up the day before.
But I mean, when it comes down to it, what just completely blew me away was the wedding day. Literally so much went wrong, but because she was there, it didn't even matter. She just made it work, fixed it, communicated what needed to be done to everyone -- and I could just have fun. I don’t know how I would have handled it all and still enjoyed my wedding day without her.
To begin with, I woke up at 2 am on my wedding day, stressed about how the hall was set up. It was a little different than I had envisioned it, and essentially I realized that I wanted to switch some table numbers around. The next morning, I called Tonya with this and a few other things, and she said she’d make it happen. She did.
Later, before walking down the aisle at the church, she was the one to catch the fact that my bridesmaids and I forgot to put my the train on my dress down. She got it fixed with only two bridesmaids in front of me left to walk down the aisle.
Then, for pictures, the limousine we rented couldn’t make it around a corner to my first choice photo destination. I had a rain back up plan (thanks to Tonya telling me again & again how important that was) & we got photos at the rain back up location instead.
I pride myself in being prepared. But honestly, I couldn’t have imagined the limousine problem. Not in my wildest dreams.
As a result, we were a half hour late to the reception. Tonya communicated everything to the caterers, DJ and my parents so that it seemed planned.
That night, she and her team kept a drink in my hands at all times -- as requested. I was just pulled so many directions and was constantly putting my drink down. This simple thing meant so much to me. I really could just focus on being in the moment and being present with friends and family. And that's 100 percent thanks to Tonya.
Anyways, maybe that’s more than most people need to hear! But I’m a huge Tonya fan. She truly is incredible, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. -

Highly recommend! Tonya has so much knowledge and made me feel as ease that everything will go smoothly through planning, big day, and clean up. Not to mention her props and decor warehouse are great, it's a huge relief not to hunt for those things now. -

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception in our local Firehall. We had our head table on the stage and behind it had a bunch of wires and a projector screen. We were able to get draping from Tonya to cover up the wires and such. Also since the door was a clear glass we were able to get draping for right in front of the door so that people couldn’t see me walking in for the ceremony before we were ready for them too. I think it really tied everything together and made the space look so much better! I couldn’t have planned for a better day thanks to Tonya! -

Chaz Sent on 06/18/2018I don't know how I would have done this wedding without the help of Tonya and her girls. They were awesome! Tonya was so incredibly accommodating from day 1. I had pretty much all my wedding planned out and done myself (mistake, don't try and do that!) and my vendors were all over the place and I was just so completely overwhelmed with stress and didn't know what to do, so I hired her 2 months before my wedding and she came right in and took ownership of everything. She went through all the paperwork I had from every vendors. she got in contact with all of my vendors, and worked with them for me so I really could just relax finally and focus on what I needed to for my big day. Her girls were on site for our rehearsal and the day of and they, again, worked with all of my vendors so I had absolutely nothing to worry about besides arriving to my venue and getting married. They did the set up and clean up and they told us step by step what we would be doing. Tonya made herself available to answer any questions via text/call/email at all times. I could not have done it without them. I will recommend them to everyone!
