WOW a wedding focused on the guest experience! I felt like a kid again, we stayed overnight in the bunks at a summer camp for my friends wedding. I loved meeting other guests and doing activities in the daytime at camp, then at night we had an elegant wedding and epic after party. The couple getting married were burning man festival goers and the whole weekend reflected the creative spirit and interpersonal connection that you would find at a Burning Man event. Ambyr made my friends wedding a seamless experience and made sure all the moving parts were working together. I would definitely recommend Weddings by Ambyr for a wedding and if I ever get married, this wedding experience would be hard to top. -

When every moment counts
Ambyr is a gem through and through. Making the decision to hire a wedding planner was the key in making our big day possible. Holding a wedding at a summer camp with 200 people is no small feat. Ambyr was on point and went above and beyond for us in so many ways, keeping us on track with vendors and guest lists and a million other things which were each so important to bringing our vision to life. She was always available for even the smallest details when we needed her -- asking us the hard questions and helping making those decisions easy. I can't fully explain all the amazing talents she and her crew bring to the table. With Ambyr's help we not only survived one of the most complex days of our lives, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment of it. She always had a great attitude even when we were difficult or the vendors were adding chaos to a otherwise meticulously planned event. Choosing Ambyr as our wedding planner is one of the biggest and best decisions we made next to saying yes to each other. I would highly recommend Ambyr to any one looking for a truly thoughtful, creative and centered human. -

Ambyr was incredible to work with. Each step along the way over the course of 9 months that we worked together, she consistently predicted and measured the needs for the moment. She made sure to interface with guests, monitor the website, help track needs of vendors (including contracts and coordinating meetings), and ensured that decisions were made when they needed to be in order to avoid any issues. My husband and I had a particularly complicated 200 person wedding, in which we had a unique vision. She heard and truly understood what we were looking for, made sure she was always available to discuss even the most minutiae of things, and was incredibly fun to work with. You will not regret choosing Ambyr to help make all of your most fantastical wedding dreams come true!! -

Perfect support for our unique wedding desires
Ambyr's help crafting and executing our wedding ceremony was invaluable, and her presence and support made the whole experience so much easier, more rewarding, and fun than we would ever have gotten to on our own.
She worked with us to craft a ceremony that really reflected who we are as both individuals and a couple. Her patient support, curious encouragement, and wealth of good ideas helped us balance the levity we wanted with a substantiveness and depth that still the significance and weight befitting of a lifelong commitment. She worked with our families and close friends to find the perfect readings and other additions to help us feel all the love our community had to offer, and was a joy to work with throughout the process.
As an officiant, Ambyr went above and beyond to make sure the little logistical details didn't get missed, and brought a grounding presence that felt everything feel a whole lot easier.
She really understands what makes a wedding work well and how to important it is for it to feel personal to the bride and groom, and has a broad wealth of knowledge to pull from in making all the parts work their best. From the moment we started working with her, everything got more exciting and less stressful, and she was. instrumental in our wedding day feeling as damn near perfect as I can imagine is possible. -

Working with Ambyr was an absolute dream. She is so clear with her communication and setting realistic expectations while still 100% up for making "the impossible" possible. She manages vendors extremely well, especially with complex events. The venue was incredibly unique, with outdoor and indoor activities over three days. The guests were very diverse and she made sure everyones needs were met and everyone felt included and taken care of. It was amazing to have such a unique and catered experience and have it be so seamless. -

My husband and I are so thankful to have found Ambyr to help us plan our small elopement and reception in Brooklyn! She came to us on a friend's recommendation, and from our very first conversation, we knew we were in good hands. Ambyr is kind and supportive, detail oriented, and super organized! She kept us on track, on time, and on budget with a smile, and she was available literally every time we needed her. One (weekend!) evening I texted her to say "I'm a little stressed", and she jumped on the phone with me right away to talk through our to-do list and alleviate my stress - it was above and beyond the call of duty, and much appreciated. She also co-officiated our ceremony beautifully! Our day-of was absolutely stress free, thanks in no small part to Ambyr's hard work. We love her! -

Ambyr was SUCH a gem to work with for a recent elopement. I am a wedding photographer and it was so nice to work with a planner/officiant who took so much care to arrange the details of the day, and added thoughtful touches that made the day so special for the couple. She burned some paulo santo in the Central Park ceremony site just before we began, and she played the guitar while the bride's sister sang. Her ceremony was so heartfelt and tender, and there wasn't a dry eye to be seen. Afterwards she was also helpful in organizing photos with me, and was just a great, fun and positive energy to be around! I loved working with her on this wedding and am excited to work with her again soon! -

Ruben and I wanted our wedding to be very personal through out including writing our own vows. We had realized early on that we did not want religion to be a focal point since neither one of us were strong in our faith. Ambyr was able to piece together a beautiful ceremony that even to this day guest still speak on. We had started building with her a year in advance and she got to know us not only as a couple, but as individuals as well. Ambyr took the time to incorporate ideas from us both as well as her own personal twist that made the ceremony all the more meaningful. Ambyr brought forth a vision that we hadn't even realized we were looking for. I am so thankful for the work that Ambyr put forth in listening to our thoughts and meeting with us to bring these thoughts to fruition. Ambyr made our day memorable, enjoyable, but most importantly filled with love that I don't think we could have received from anyone else. -

Ambyr was an absolute dream to work with. She thought of EVERYTHING! We worked with her last year for our wedding in California.
We thought we were on the right track until we got her. She saw what we had done so far, upgraded it, and made everything ready with time to spare, so we could focus on getting ourselves ready for our destination wedding and honeymoon with pleasure! She worked with our budget and made our dreams into a reality. -
