Working with Benedetta to plan our destination wedding in Italy was truly a journey we will always remember. From the very first conversation, she guided us through the legal requirements and helped us navigate the details of planning a wedding abroad. Even with the little hiccups that naturally come with destination weddings, her support and knowledge made everything feel manageable.
Our intimate ceremony in Castel Gandolfo was nothing short of magical—the setting was breathtaking, and every moment felt elegant and special. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner than Benedetta. She did an absolutely amazing job at the Rome Cavalieri and took care of everything — from the music and flowers to the table settings and all the little details in between. She coordinated the entire event flawlessly and even stayed until the very end of the night to make sure everything ran smoothly.
In the lead-up to the wedding, her communication was excellent and so reassuring — she always made us feel on track, never stressed, and completely supported. Thanks to Benedetta, we were able to truly relax and enjoy the day knowing everything was in the best hands. Highly, highly recommend her. -

Benedetta was absolutely amazing to work with! From start to finish, she made sure all our wedding day vendors were organized and informed. We knew we needed help since we were trying to organize the wedding in Italy from Chicago, so I am so happy I found her just in time. She truly made the entire process stress-free which was super comforting. She’s incredibly organized, kind, and genuinely cares about making your day perfect. Everything ran so smoothly and we felt so supported the entire time. I whole heartedly recommend Benedetta as your wedding day coordinator! Benedetta was incredibly helpful as our day-of wedding coordinator. She was a great liaison between all of our vendors — especially our florist — and made sure everything stayed on track without ever feeling rushed or stressful. Her calm and organized presence helped keep the day running smoothly from start to finish.
One of the things we appreciated most was how naturally she handled communication between Italian- and English-speaking guests and vendors. Her language support made a big difference and helped avoid any last-minute confusion.
She was friendly, professional, and always a step ahead — making sure we could just enjoy the day. We're so glad she was part of it. Thank you, Benedetta! -

The absolute best day of my life!! The attention to detail was perfect!! Benedetta took care of absolutely everything even some of my strange requests like Scottish thistles and gold cutlery!! On the day Benedetta ensured she was with us every step of the way. Hair and make up trial was arranged before the wedding which was fab. The venue was unreal first getting married in the Vatican with the most wonderful opera singer and quartet. The reception was on a rooftop terrace over looking the Vatican with the most amazing band including a saxophonist and violinist . My family and friends also had the best day. My family had a few dietary requirements all of which were met. The meal was the best meal I have probably ever had along with the finest wine. The Bentley was out of this world and pictures stunning. Benedetta made all of my dreams come true and I can’t recommend Benedetta enough.Wed in Rome's reply:

Vatican City Wedding
Myself and my fiancee (now wife!) Contacted Benedetta at Wed In Rome just over a year prior to our proposed wedding date.
We spoke to Benedetta via video call (we are from the UK) and gave some details of what we were looking for. Benedetta took on board all our needs and set about putting plans in place to make our dream day come true.
Over the next year we visited Rome twice, firstly to speak with the priest at Santa Anna and arrange a date for our wedding. Benedetta was invaluable here, taking on board all our needs and answering all our questions. We also visited our proposed reception venue and got a feel for the place. Again, Benedetta helped answer all the questions we had and was great at liaising between the venue and ourselves.
Over the following months we were in regular communication; with Benedettta answering all our questions - and we had lots! We did present Benedetta with challenges, such as our choice of wedding vehicle or chsnges in the wedding meal, however each time Benedetta rose to the challenge and met our needs.
A second visit to Rome allowed my fiancee to partake in a hair and make up trial and allowed us also to iron out any other issues. We also had dinner at our wedding reception venue, arranged by Benedetta. This really put our minds at ease as the food and service was outstanding.
Benedetta could not have been more helpful, always meeting our needs...even going so far as to buy us gold cutlery for our reception... these small touches really made a huge difference.
Paperwork and the legal side of things was fully explained and taken care of by Wed In Rome. Every step of the way was well communicated in this regard.
The day itself was, in a word, perfect. From the cantor and quartet in the church to the saxophonist and and violinist and our reception, down to the flowers for the bridal party, and the centrepieces on the table, every single aspect of what we asked for was met and indeed exceeded our wishes.
Would highly recommend Wed In Rome to any couple planning or thinking of having a wedding in the Eternal City!

A True Professional Who Made Our Wedding Seamless!
We had the pleasure of working with Benedetta as our day-of coordinator, and she exceeded all our expectations. Although we hired her for the day of, she got involved weeks before the wedding, making sure she was well-acquainted with our vendors and timeline. Her communication was impeccable—she coordinated with all of our vendors and the hotel, ensuring everyone was on the same page.
On the wedding day, Benedetta was incredibly proactive, handling everything from setup to final details with such efficiency. She was always one step ahead, making sure things were running smoothly, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the day without any worries.
Her presence was a huge relief, and I can’t recommend her enough! Benedetta was a key part of making our wedding day everything we envisioned. -

Our day was perfect thanks to Benedetta at Wed in rome
Benedetta helped me to plan my wedding in 3 months and has been nothing but very accommodating, friendly, professional and flexible. With being in the UK, she was able to do everything for us and ensured everything was ready in time! We opted for a small wedding with family only and she listened to everything we asked for and suggested! A quick messaging service and video calls were made throughout the weeks leading up to our special day which was very helpful. I can’t thank Benedetta enough for helping us to make our dream wedding come true. It was so lovely to also meet Benedetta on the day of our wedding after months of talking over social media! If you are thinking of eloping to Italy to get married then I would definitely recommend Benedetta from wed in rome!
