If you are looking for some help to plan your wedding in NYC, look no further! My partner and I came to NYC in December for our wedding as we wanted to avoid the pressures of planning a big wedding back in the UK. We honestly couldn't recommend Wed in Central Park enough. Claire was absolutely amazing from start to finish; she is so knowledgable and answered all our questions quickly and we were able to explore different options to find the best fit for us. The planning was completely stress free so much so by the time our day came around we were able to just enjoy it. The suppliers recommended to us were absolutely faultless. Everything exceeded our expectations and wouldn't hesitate in recommending Wed in Central Park to anyone. -

Planning a wedding from out of state can feel overwhelming, but Claire made everything effortless. I reached out to her only two weeks before our Central Park elopement, and from the very first message, she communicated clearly, confidently, and with so much calm expertise. She knew exactly what needed to be done and immediately gathered all the details she needed to make our day happen.
Claire coordinated everything online with such efficiency and care. Even with the short timeline, she arranged everything seamlessly, from the locations to pairing us with the perfect officiant. Kevin, our celebrant, was truly a blessing. He delivered the most beautiful, heartfelt ceremony for me and Andrew, and it felt so intentional despite the very last-minute planning.
Our ceremony in Central Park, surrounded by our families, was absolutely perfect. Very intimate, meaningful, and beautifully organized. And the fact that this was all pulled together in under two weeks still amazes me.
Claire is truly heaven-sent. She handled all the details so we could simply show up, be present, and enjoy our moment. We are endlessly grateful for her, for Kevin, and for the unforgettable experience they created for us. Highly, highly recommend.

Getting married in Central Park was the coolest thing I've ever done! It was truly perfect and a dream come true. Claire, Kevin and Jakub made everything so simple and stress free! I was feeling too old, fat, and grey for a "fairytale wedding," but this was my fairytale. We came all the way from South Texas to get married at The Ladies Pavilion. Claire was helpful and communicated every step of the way. She promptly answered every question I had and eased all of my anxiety. Kevin (officiant) we delightful. Our vows were perfectly us and we felt like he knew us. He was the sweetest. Jakub did AMAZING with the pictures. He was very knowledgeable of the area and took great care in posing us. I have never loved pictures of myself, I love every one of these!
I would recommend using their services to ANYONE. -

Claire from Wed in Central Park was brilliant to work with and I would highly recommend her. We got married in the ladies pavilion on 28th December 2024, and despite a bit of rain, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
I live in the UK and my partner lives in NY. As it wasn’t our “main wedding” we just wanted a low key registry office type wedding, however the way it works in NY, we wouldn’t have been able to confirm a date until a few weeks before, which wouldn’t have been ideal for family members needing to fly to NY.
That’s when my dad came across Claire, who was able to book us a date and time well in advance, as well as a beautiful location in Central Park - a bit of a step up from the registry office! All for a very good price as well (we only required the most basic package but it still included a lot).
We chose the ladies pavilion as it had cover for if it rained, and also a bit of seating. All 18 of us (including the two of us and the officiant) were able to fit in. The officiant that Claire booked for us, Kevin Bain, put on a lovely ceremony and I would highly recommend him too.
Throughout the process Claire was organised, informative and happy to answer any of our questions always replying promptly. She also helped with suggestions for hair/restaurants etc. too.
If you’re looking to elope or have a small, low key wedding, then Wed in Central Park is the perfect option! -

We got married at the end of June this year, at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park with Claire and Wed in Central Park. I couldn't recommend this company more! Claire's attention to detail to bring everything together on the day was first class. We had 12 guests and they all thought it was one of the best weddings they've been to. In the run up, Claire was on hand to expertly organise every aspect of the day. She answered all of our questions as well as making helpful suggestions about aspects of the day we would never have considered. Her wealth of experience was invaluable - as it can be daunting to plan a wedding in NY from the UK. Claire made sure we were reassured at all times.
Her network of officiants, photographers, musicians and videographers are great and it all ran like a well oiled machine!
We researched a number of companies who offer Central Park weddings but I'm so glad we went with Claire.
Thank you for creating the happiest day for us both and the only negative is, we can't do it all again!

A magical day, crafted by Claire!
Working with Claire was a wonderful experience! My husband and I shopped around online and felt the best vibe from the ‘Wed in Central Park’ website, but it was emailing with Claire that really sealed the deal for us. From the outset she was friendly and knowledgable, straight away we knew this was someone we could trust to help us with our special day. We’re quite disorganised as a pair, but she gave us plenty of grace and politely checked in to make sure things were going okay at our end. Quite quickly she was able to turn our fantasy into a well-planned and organised reality. The photographer she booked for us (Jakub Redziniak) was an absolute superstar, we are so proud of our beautiful pictures. Claire also has a great relationship with both our officiant (Larissa) and our photographer having worked with them both on many occasions, which was important because the day was so intimate, so it really helped us relax into the ceremony. If we could do it all again we wouldn’t change a single thing! -

Claire was absolutely amazing from start to finish! She worked completely with our pace, we didn’t feel rushed to make any decisions but if we had any questions, Claire was always very prompt with her detailed responses. The day was perfect, exactly what we had hoped for when we had started the planning process. Claire chose the most amazing officiant, Kevin, and photographer, Julieanne, both of whom absolutely topped off the day for us by making us feel so comfortable throughout.
For anyone considering a smaller, more intimate and completely personalised wedding like ours, we would 100000% recommend Claire and the team - could not have wished for anything more! -

Everything was great!
I found Claire on Pinterest, we had spontaneously decided to see if it was possible to get married in Central Park while on an upcoming planned trip. I reached out to Claire and it was absolutely easy to set it up. Claire provided so much information about what was possible, with detailed information to consider as we had two elementary school age kids with us as well. She suggested time lines and locations that would match our needs and made arrangements for the permit, photographer and officiant. It was so simple and we were thrilled with how easy it was to work with her. -

My husband and I had a great experience with Claire and Wed in Central Park for our elopement. We were looking for a simple, low stress wedding in a beautiful setting, which is exactly what we got. Claire picked up on my personality right away, and so sent only necessary emails and questions, helpful reminders, and specific timeline/deadline information. I didn't feel like I was being upsold or pushed in any direction. I also felt like my desire for a simple wedding was respected and encouraged. Claire consistently responded to my questions offering her thoughts and suggestions. We were given every opportunity to personalize aspects of our wedding as we wanted, but were provided with standard choice if we opted not to personalize something. The officiant and photographer that Claire organized were also very professional and fun. We had our photos back within a couple of days, and they were a nice mix of formal and candid shots that retold our ceremony well. Overall, I would highly recommend working with Wed in Central Park for a wedding in the city and I am so glad Claire's blog convinced us to opt for the Park instead of City Hall! -

Cannot recommend Claire enough. If you're planning a Central Park Wedding, Claire is THE BEST. She was efficient but relaxed, I felt completely at ease, she sorted everything and at such a reasonable price! She made what could be a stressful day completely stress free!
I was considering another wedding planner but Claire made the effort to chase me up on whether I'd made a decision and I was like YES, this lady knows what she's doing!

We cannot recommend this company highly enough. We planned a small simple elopement in Central Park and working with Claire everything went so smoothly. Claire was so quick to answer any questions, make suggestions and amendments and was always so knowledgeable and friendly. Getting married in New York can seem daunting especially living in UK but Claire made the while process so easy. She was flexible with what we wanted with regards to photography etc and didn't try and push us into things we weren't comfortable with. The officiant and Photographer Claire sourced for us were so wonderful. They made us feel so at ease and I know Claire was constantly on hand to make sure things went smoothly. My dream has always been to secretly elope to New York and thank you so much to Claire for making it happen in the most perfect way. My advice to anyone thinking of getting married in New York would be to DO IT! And definitely use Wed In Central Park to make your dream be home reality. -

Wed in Central Park was truly exceptional from start to finish! Since we planned our ceremony remotely, Claire was worth every penny -- she advised us on the best venue at the park to accommodate our group, obtained the permit, worked carefully with us to devise our schedule, and her vendor recommendations were amazing!!! (We used her recommended officiant, musician, florist, make-up and photographer.) Claire was easy to work with, clearly knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to planning at the park, very responsive -- she always promptly answered emails -- and made recommendations that really helped us make the experience as stress-free as possible! We highly recommend Claire for anyone thinking about doing a ceremony in Central Park. Cheers! -

Claire is just fantastic, highly recommend!
Having decided to get married last minute in NYC (3 weeks before wedding date!) I really didn't know where to turn, what we needed to do beforehand or what our options even were. Thankfully a Google search led me to Claire from wed in Central Park. From the very first email I knew we were in safe hands with claire. She immediately put my mind at rest and everything continued to be so straight forward thereafter. Claire was always so concise with her information, I felt I could ask any questions-even ones I felt were a bit silly!! She advised on what our best options were, even as far as where to dine that night and recommendations for hairdresser's!! Claire also wrote a beautiful ceremony for us, with little information from us she managed to capture both our feelings and personalities in it.
The two people Claire booked for us were Kevin, the officiant and Jakub, our photographer. I couldn't speak highly enough of both. Kevin was so personable and we felt very at ease with him throughout our ceremony.
Neither my partner or I are particularly into photos but obviously for the day that was in it we had to suck it up!!! Jakub was just perfect, put us at ease instantly and we had a lovely time with him, walking through Central Park to different locations. He was so professional but easy going and so friendly.
We can't thank Claire enough for everything, she made our trip from ireland to New York to get married so seamless and easy. If you're thinking of getting married in Central Park don't look any further than Claire and 'wed in Central park'. 5 stars!! -

The price for a wedding is so good.

We decided to have a small wedding in Central Park as we had got engaged in New York in 2019.
I found Claire via a google search.
Claire was very helpful from start to finish, answering all our questions.
We decided to go for the package which included a photographer. Claire organised both the officiant and photographer.
Our photographer, Florencia was amazing, we are quite a shy couple but Flo made us feel so comfortable and we are so happy with how the photos turned out.
Our officiant, Kevin was brilliant and our ceremony had a more relaxed feeling, which we were hoping for.
I would 100% recommend Claire to any couples looking to get married in Central Park, our day was amazing, with no issues. Thanks again to Wed in Central Park for making our day so special and one we will never forget! -

Me and my husband got married in Wagner’s cover 27/4/22 and had the most perfect day thanks to Claire and her amazingly talented team. From finding ‘wed in Central Park’ on Facebook and emailing Claire late 2021 she has been absolutely fabulous, she made the planning very easy and effortless we felt we hadn’t done a thing, she done everything for us! We had a small intimate wedding in Wagner’s cove and it’s was a gorgeous day we had a lovely officiant, she made us very comfortable and at ease! Our photographer and videographer were outstanding and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome, memories we will cherish forever! If anyone is thinking about going away for their wedding New York is the perfect place. We have had so many compliments on our photos Central Park is perfect for those unforgettable memories and gorgeous photographs. Professional, friendly, quick responses, knowledgable
We first got in touch with Claire from Wed in Central Park back in September 2021 as we were unsure whether to get married in New York - Central Park or somewhere else abroad. Claire was really quick with a response and gave us plenty of information. We knew straight away after speaking to Claire that Central Park was for us and Claire was definitely the person we wanted to plan it for us.
From start to finish Claire was really responsive and would usually get back to us within a couple of hours, this really put us at ease as being from the UK and having so many questions regarding the wedding which were answered in good time.
We found price packages online ourselves, but Claire gave us more information regarding these packages and how much additional extras would be (we opted for a couple more hours with Jakub the photographer). All communication that needed to be done with other parties such as Jakub and Kevin our officiant was all done through Claire and she was brilliant at passing on any messages we needed to know. We found this really helpful as we didn’t have to spend so much time emailing numerous people as it all went through Claire. However it still felt personal because Claire gave us their details and before meeting them in December 2021 for our wedding she had sent over pictures of us so they would recognise us. We can also add the people Claire works alongside such as Jakub and Kevin were absolutely fantastic and couldn’t be faulted.
Claire has fantastic knowledge of the park and City which was really useful when planning where to actually have the ceremony and our photographs. This was brilliant as Claire was able to listen to what we wanted as a couple for our big day and gave suggestions on what would be suitable. We opted for Wagner Cove in the end which was a beautiful secluded place next to a lake. Some places you require a permit Wagner Cove being one of them, however Claire dealt with all this in sending off for to get the permit and we had a response in a few days.
We had to get in touch with the city clerk ourselves and arrange an appointment to get the wedding licence, however Claire was brilliant in providing information regarding this and also giving advice on how to make the process a little quicker and smoother (we found this part the most stressful throughout but with Claire’s help this stress was massively reduced).
When it came to planning the wording and what we actually wanted from the ceremony Claire sent us a really clear draft of the wording and asked if we wanted to change anything or add anything personal. We opted for personal vows which Claire also went through and she set it out in a way which may the ceremony itself much more enjoyable.
A really nice touch was Claire set out a Clear plan regarding the day and where we should be and when. We found this worked really well as the day run so smoothly without any hiccups. Was also a nice personal touch as family and friends back home could also follow as the day went on.
Claire was an ultimate professional from the minute we got in touch with her, really friendly and actually cared about our wedding day which really showed on the day itself. Really responsive in getting back to us and any question we had she was able to confidently answer. We really couldn’t recommend Claire and the guys she works with for photography and the officiant enough, it really was the most perfect day without any stress from the minute we started planning. We actually can’t believe how stress free the process was with it being an international wedding and we are two of the biggest worriers normally. Thankyou so much Claire for our amazing, dream wedding. -

Nobody better!
We got married in 2016 and Claire made the whole process so easy. Given that we were coming to New York a week before our wedding the whole thing could have been so stressful but Claire made it seamless. We engaged the services of Clare Ady for our 2014 wedding and couldn’t have been any happier with the impeccable service standards from the very first email we sent, through to our actual wedding day.
Clare is a consummate professional and nothing was too much trouble … everything was arranged on our behalves by her… from our licence to marry in Central Park, our photographer, our officiant, my hair and make up team, wedding flowers and so much more! Nothing was too much trouble and as a bride arranging a wedding abroad entirely via email I couldn’t have been more confident in Clare’s ability to deliver.

Excellent wedding planning service
We decided we wanted to get married in Central Park around 18 months before our actual wedding date. After a few months of trying to plan myself I was getting nowhere fast and that’s when I found Wed in Central Park. Claire is amazing no question was to big or to crazy. She recommended an amazing Photographer, sorted out the wedding permit and an officiant, recommend a lovely local florist and even booked me a table at a local restaurant for our wedding breakfast. That was nearly 6 years ago now and we have some amazing memories of our wedding because of Claire and her team. -

Claire has been amazing throughout the planning of our wedding! We travelled over from Scotland to get married at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park and the day was absolutely perfect. Any stresses I had claire put me at ease and organised our day perfectly and was always there with a quick reply when I had a question about the day. The ceremony wording that she put together for me and my husband was also perfect, we wouldn't have known where to begin with that and luckily enough claire provided that service which meant one less thing for us to worry about. I can honestly say from the very beginning of our wedding planning (Jan 2018) Claire has been fantastic. Without the guidance & reassurance I would not have found the confidence to go forward with our dream. We were extremely lucky to be able to share our day with Claire too & this added an extra special piece to our journey when pronounced husband & wife! Debbie Sent on 09/08/2018When I started to help my future sister in law plan her wedding to my brother in New York I asked in a Facebook group for reccomendations for a Wedding Planner and several people reccomended Claire at Wed in Central Park so we booked her to help.
Claire was amazing throughout the planning, helping us add things in as the bride thought of things she wanted and giving us advice on timings and locations.
In the run up to the day she sent detailed emails so that we all knew what would be happening and when.
On the day she was on the other end of the phone to help us, which was really reassuring. She booked us an amazing officiant and photographer who we met on the day of the wedding.
We couldn't have been happier with how the wedding went and we couldn't have done it without Claire. -

Emma Sent on 01/12/2018My now husband and I wanted to get married in Central Park in New York. Being from England we were a bit wary as to how on earth we were going to be able to accomplish this! And then along came Claire. She was extremely responsive to all of our questions and needs, she made us feel really comfortable about everything and she put is in touch with a great photographer that she works with to catch those precious moments to last forever.
I would recommend Claire and her team to anyone - she makes me want to remarry my husband all over again!! -

Claire was fantastic! She is very knowledgeable, gave instruction every step of the way and has recommendations for all aspects of the day. Was always on hand to answer questions. Very simple process and completely stress free. Had such an unforgettable day at Ladies Pavilion was just perfect!
