I am so glad that my husband and I chose Waterhouse studios they were so great and very flexible around my work schedule. They even created a timeline for the wedding day which helped me tremendously! Will definitely be using again!

Lauren did a truly amazing job. The photos are stunningly gorgeous -- both the candid shots and the portraits. She captured the day better than we could have ever imagined. And, she was absolutely lovely to work with. We can't thank her enough!

Lauren is incredibly professional and easy to work with. She made sure that my husband and I had all the photographs that we wanted! She is very creative and knows exactly how to pose you to create the most stunning photos you've seen! We have gotten so many compliments on our pictures! Lauren created our engagement, bridal and wedding photos and we enjoy looking back at all of them time and time again! We will cherish our photos for many years to come and can't wait for more photos at some point! Fantastic photography is so important and worth every penny!

Lauren has amazing talent in both capturing special moments and editing photos to display the full beauty of the moment. Lauren was absolutely wonderful to work with! She came up with some fantastic shots and unique perspectives. We had first look, ceremony, and reception photos. We even got some really awesome night time photos. I highly recommend to anyone!

We made sure to book Lauren quickly once we saw her work on other weddings, which was AMAZING! She was very up front and easy to communicate with. We had a few issues to deal with (beach breeze-or WIND- and some uninvited guests that showed up that we did not want in pictures) and Lauren did everything she could to make adjustments.

Lauren is an amazing and truly talented photographer. She is so easy to work with and I am blown away by the beauty of her photos! I love every picture she took of our wedding and it has been so much fun reliving the day through the photos.

Lauren is worth the price! She was professional, responsive, and efficient! She took advantage of our rainy day and took gorgeous photos. Of all the things I worried about on my wedding day, Lauren was not one of them. She handled our complicated family situations with ease. I can't wait to see the rest of our photos.

Thank you Lauren! The pictures are beautiful! Lauren was professional, easy to work with, she did a fantastic job. I don't consider myself a photogenic person, I usually am very uncomfortable in front of a camera. But working with Lauren was easy, and the pictures came out perfect! Highly recommend.

Lauren was an ALLSTAR!
My husband and I have gone on and on about how much we LOVED working with Lauren. She spent the entire day with us making sure to capture all the elements of our wedding day. Our photos were not only GORGEOUS, but she was able to share them with me and our families quickly. I would highly recommend Lauren and her photography!

When it came to wedding planning, I knew photography was on of the major components that was most important to me. After reading reviews and seeking help from my friends who were previously married, I soon found out that it was also one of the most expensive components! I learned about Lauren through a family member and was impressed from the very beginning! She shot my bridal portraits and wedding day and the pictures were exquisite. It rained on our wedding day, but Lauren had unique rain pictures in mind and the rain turned out to be a plus! I would highly recommend her. It's very obvious that she loves what she does and she is good at it!!

I can't say enough about Lauren at Waterhouse Studios! She photographed my bridals and our wedding, and I would hire her again in a heartbeat. On our wedding day, Lauren arrived at 10am and stayed until the end of the wedding at 10pm. She captured every single moment of the day from everyone getting their hair done, the food we snacked on, bridal party playing games before we had to leave for the venue, to getting shots of all of us and our guests having a blast throughout the night. There wasn't a single thing that I can think she didn't get on camera. She was organized, fun, professional, and creative. By the time we got back from our honeymoon, she had already edited all 875 pictures and sent them to my husband and I. I was a little nervous to see how they turned out because the weather was gloomy and rained the whole wedding (everything was outdoors). Well, the pictures were absolutely STUNNING!!! I love love love all of them. The quality and colors were phenomenal. Lauren has a great eye and is extremely talented. The nighttime pictures she got of my husband and I in the rain are by far my favorites. They are so unique and beautiful. After seeing all her rain photos, you'll almost hope that it rains on your wedding day! I know we did after seeing other rain shots she had taken. There were tons of candid pictures I didn't even realize she took...she's a photo ninja! :)

Since our wedding, I can't tell you how many people have come up to compliment our wedding photos and my bridal shots and say how wonderful our photographer was. I know of at least 3-4 different couples/families who are planning to book Waterhouse Studios for senior portraits, family pictures and a wedding. Her great work was seen and appreciated by all!

When we first started the wedding planning process we started with a photographer from out of town that we did not know and after we received our engagement pictures back from her we were not very pleased. We had seen and loved a lot of the work that Lauren had done so we decided to speak with her and it was obvious that she truly wanted to be able to provide us with exactly what we had been searching for. From the very beginning of this journey with Lauren we were extremely pleased with her professionalism, kind attitude, and passion for what she does. My bridal session was the first time that I was able to meet Lauren and she was willing to try any suggestion that I had. Lauren helped turn my bridal portraits and wedding pictures into something greater than I had imagined. On our wedding day her professionalism was astounding. She came with a list of all of the photos that needed to be taken and we were able to get everything done within a timely manner. While trying to get everyone in the correct spot, Lauren never became frustrated or upset. She was continuously smiling and laughing with us and it was a great feeling to be able to be comfortable around her. Another aspect that we loved about Lauren is the timely manner that she had our photos ready in. Within days after the wedding we were able to view the majority of our photos. I cannot wait to use Lauren for future photo opportunities. If you are in the market for a photographer I highly recommend Lauren, not only because of her wonderful images, but because of her kindness and true passion for what she does.

We could not have been happier with Lauren! First of all, dealing with her before the wedding was a pleasure. She obviously loves her job, and is extremely talented. I can't say enough about how much we got for the value. Lauren's prices are fantastic. With her quality of picture, she could easily charge twice what we paid. We attended 8 weddings within a year of our own, and everyone, friends, family, etc. was envious of our pictures. She just has an amazing eye for the perfect picture! She got pictures of every important moment at the wedding, but was so unobtrusive it was like she wasn't even there. At some of our friends' weddings, it was like being stalked by the paparazzi, that was not the case with Lauren though we got all the same pictures. My favorite thing about Lauren is her signature "night picture". Not only is it super romantic and beautiful, but it also allows you to spend a few minutes alone with your new spouse. You cannot go wrong hiring Waterhouse Studios to do your wedding!!

Lauren was phenomenal! I could not have been happier with the quality of her work, the ease of working with her, and her ability to take any situation, with any type of weather to create beautiful photography. Prior to our wedding, we had many changes throughout the process. Lauren was always understanding, patient, flexible, and accommodating. Our April wedding turned out to be cold and rainy, but in the end I would still not change a thing! Lauren used the rain to create photos that truly look as if they came out of a motion picture! Since then, our photos have been featured on our venue website and as an advertisement in the magazine Trendy Bride. Over a year later, I am still referring friends to Waterhouse Studios Photography, and all have been thrilled with the results of her work as well. You truly cannot go wrong with this vendor. She creates photos that are on a completely different level than any other wedding photographer, while also offering a wedding package that is unbeatable by most!

We chose Lauren to take our engagement photos. We wanted someone that did not know us to take our photos because we were going to use the engagement photos to announce to the world that we were eloping to Greece! No one knew about our secret. We had very specific requirements. After a lot of research, I found Lauren's website. We were very impressed with her work. I sent her an email and she emailed me right back.
The day of our shoot was perfect. Lauren and her associate were so patient and worked very diligently to perfect our shots. Lauren helped my dream come true. Since I was eloping, I was not going to get the "moment" when everyone turns to look at the bride coming down the isle (I did have a Greek wedding but just with my groom and parents ...which is what I wanted). My "walking down the isle moment" was with the revelation of our engagement photos. Lauren's photos of our engagement session blew me away! And everyone else. I've had so many people to tell me that they had seen a lot of engagement photos, but none as fabulous as Lauren's! We revealed our photos 9 months ago and I still have people approaching me about our photos! Lauren is extremely talented, and an awesome person to work with! Not only did Lauren take amazing shots, but she went out of her way to meet us at two separate remote locations to get the shots we wanted. At the end of our shooting period, the rain moved in but that didn't stop her! She took advantage of the situation and captured some of the best professional photographs you can find. :)

Lauren Waterhouse is an amazing photographer and captured so many wonderful memories at our wedding! Her attention to detail is unrivaled, as is her professionalism. I can look back at my wedding pictures and see that she captured every moment; because of her I am able to relive one of the best days of my life whenever the mood strikes me. It has been truly an honor to watch as she has grown in her craft from our wedding, which was her first, to those she does today. I would have never doubted it for a second! We absolutely loved working with Lauren on both our engagement and wedding photos. Lauren has a very creative eye for capturing gorgeous, unique shots that flatter any setting. Lauren deserves 10 stars she is absolutely amazing and her work speaks for itself. Her photography is a masterpiece. I am in love with our engagement pictures and can't wait to see our wedding pictures. She is reasonable priced for what you get. Lauren is absolutely AMAZING to work with! I am a photographer myself and found it very difficult when I was starting the daunting search for a wedding photographer. As I was looking through Waterhouse Studios portfolio I was amazed, and stunned! The pictures I was looking at were pictures I could see myself taking as a photographer! My husband and I also did 2 mini sessions with Lauren before the wedding as "practice", that is when I knew we had made the right decision! Lauren and her partner Jen spent the entire day with us at the wedding and were more than wonderful to work with! We also got our photos back only a few weeks after the wedding! We are so very thankful for having Waterhouse Studios be a part of our wedding day, and can't recommend them enough!! We will most definitely be working with her in the future!!

I worked with The Assosicative Photographer Jen. She was awesome throughout the whole wedding planning process. She made an attempt to get to know me and understand exactly what was important to me for the photos. During the actual big day she was excited, easy to work with, professional, and patient. The photographs turned out AMAZING!! Waterhouse's famous night shots are breath taking!

Lauren was absolutely amazing! Not only her pictures, but her personality, attitude, and flexibility were all out of this world. We had Lauren for an engagement session in April 2014, where she did such a great job. She even managed to capture the most adorable pictures of our wild dog, who would not sit still. I tried to schedule bridal portraits with Lauren, and we scheduled 3 different dates, but unfortunately the weather would not work with us, but each time we had to cancel and re-schedule she was so flexible and worked around my schedule. We worked with Lauren again for our wedding pictures in March 2015, along with her co- photographer, Jen. I could not have asked for a better photographer. She made the entire photography experience completely stress free. She came to our hotel where the girls were getting ready, then went over to the venue and took pictures of my dress and other items before we got to the venue, so when the bridal party showed up she was ready to snap away! As I did not get to do a bridal session, due to weather, Lauren took about 20 minutes before the ceremony to get some amazing bridal portrait type pictures. I am absolutely in love with them all. Her pictures show off every detail of my dress, veil, and bouquet. She was so patient with us as well. We had a larger wedding party of 12 people, and it was like herding cats to get us all in one place for pictures. Lauren and Jen were both awesome. They stayed all night and took the most amazing candid pictures of everyone dancing and having fun. And something that has to be mentioned is Lauren's INSTANT turn around time! She had a 100 picture preview of the wedding up within 48 hrs! And she had all 1200 photos ready and sent to me within a week and a half! I can't stop looking at my wedding pictures!

Our wedding day flew by in 24 hours after months of planning... For every detail I missed on our big day, Lauren caught them all. Our pictures were amazing to say the least. As a bride there will be people you don't get to speak to, food you don't get to eat, and months of planning gone in a blink of an eye. But for me, there are people I see in photos that I get to say thanks for coming I hate I didn't get to see you, the food looked amazing, and everything turned out perfectly. I get an outsiders view of our big day and there isn't a price you can set on that. Years from now, I'll still think our photos are the most amazing thing that I could have to remember our day by (other than my husband of course!). It was a blessing to work with Lauren and one thing I knew I didn't have to worry about. She's amazing at all she does. If I could redo that day, I'd do it all the same and I'd book Lauren first just as I did the last time.

Wow! Lauren is seriously talented! The most important thing to me on my wedding day was the photography! What's a wedding day without stunning photos to remember the special day by? Throughout the entire process Lauren was very quick in her responses via e-mail or phone. My engagement and wedding photos have a wonderful feel to them that is all credited to Lauren's artistic abilities! On my wedding day I did not feel pressured by Lauren or her second shooter to pose a certain way or to rush through the pictures. I could not possibly recommend Waterhouse Studios more highly!

Lauren was absolutely amazing! I love love love her work, we had her booked before we were even engaged because we knew she was the one we wanted to capture these special moments in our lives. She went above and beyond our expectations and had our photos available within a week of our session. Your search for a photographer should end with Lauren. She was recommended to us by someone I went to nursing school with and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. My bridal portraits, she made it such an easy process, and I feel it showed in how relaxed I looked in my pictures. The wedding day, simply amazing. She was constantly on the move, catching every moment you could have asked for and more. There was one picture she took of my grandmother and I hugging right after I said "I do" that I had no clue she behind us capturing the moment. My grandmother is not well and I don't have any recent pictures of us, so that picture is one if MANY she took to have such special meaning. When our family starts to grow, I know who we will be using for family pictures!

My best recommendation to newly engaged couples, is to book Lauren for your photography! I've had endless compliments on our photos and it's impossible to pick my favorites because I love them all. Lauren is easily one of the most personable people I have met. Her approach is warm and assertive, allowing for less time spent posing and more time enjoying your day! Her work is vibrant and her photos are a high quality reflection of the details and joy of our wedding day. We received a sneak peak the night of our wedding, followed by a highlights album the next day, and ALL of the final images within less than a week. As a bride who made all of her decorations, it was important to have the little details captured. Lauren arrived to our venue early and spent time photographing lace, jewelry, lights, and all the details that I had spent a year thinking about and working on. I love these photos and keep hearing from others that my wedding photos are 'pinterest worthy'. Lauren will make you feel at ease, brighten your wedding day, work as a photo ninja to capture all of your perfect moments, and deliver a high quality, top-notch end product. She's the BEST!

Waterhouse Studios Photography was by far my FAVORITE wedding vendor I worked with. Lauren is absolutely AMAZING. She is super responsive, fun, friendly, organized, and knows how to get down to business.

We haven't received all of our final edited photos yet, but the "sneak-peak" images that she posted on facebook just a day after the wedding are phenomenal! I am sooo excited to see the rest!

I would HIGHLY recommend Waterhouse Studios Photography for any photography needs, especially weddings and engagements (I used her for both). I will definitely be contacting the company for family photos in the future! Thanks for everything Lauren!

Waterhouse Studios was the absolute best!!! She went above and beyond anything I asked her to do! We talked numerous times discussing what type of pictures I wanted and she exceeded those exceptions. Choosing a photographer for your wedding is one of the most important things and I am so glad I chose Lauren Waterhouse! Lauren had never photographed at my venue so on my wedding day she arrived early to scope the place out and it didn't take her long to find the most beautiful places to take our pictures! She has worked countless hours making sure all my photos are just perfect…and I mean perfect! Not only is she the best photographer but she is reasonable in her prices! She was easily the hardest working person at the wedding. She never missed any action from the getting ready to the exit! I was obsessed with her night time photos and that was a "must have" and now that she has captured our night time photos I am even more obsessed! She truly has a talent that cannot be compared! I could not be more pleased with the outcome of our photos and look forward to using her services later on!

i cannot say enough good things about lauren at waterhouse studios photography. she came to my rescue two weeks before my wedding when things did not work out with a photographer i had previously booked! she is amazing in every way. her response time is impeccable (before, during, and even after the wedding) and she answered any and all questions that i had right away. due to the last minute booking, we didn't have time to meet before the wedding, so she was more than happy to discuss all of the details over the phone so she could get a good idea of what direction i wanted to go with my wedding photos (ex: photojournalism style, etc.). she read my style very well, as my photos have a slight ethereal/whimsical/vintage touch to them... which is exactly what i was going for. her questionnaire and contract are very detailed, and she is extremely professional. when it came to the big day, lauren and her assistants arrived right on time (after a 2.5 hr commute to chapel hill). she has a very keen eye, and captured every last detail of the wedding decor and the venue. she gives great direction as far as the "posed" family/wedding party photos go, and her presence felt very natural (barely noticed she was there) throughout the ceremony/reception and she managed to capture every possible moment! also, her photographs at night are beyond gorgeous! it has been almost a month, and i can't stop looking at my wedding photos! what a wonderful investment!

I met Lauren at the 2014 Wilkes Wedding Expo her booth was a eye catcher and her attitude drew me in, the work she had was flawless, so I knew from the jump start she was the one for me. Lauren didn't capture the pictures at my wedding she done my bridal portraits. Lauren was in never no hurry she took time out of her day to met with me and go over everything as I wanted. She never told me no nor acted as if she didn't wanna do something. I was very pleased with everything and the most important thing about Lauren is she loves her job and you can tell it speaks for itself. So with this being said I recommend Waterhouse Studios to the fullest. She will capture your moments and make them flawless. I promise she should be your choice!

Waterhouse studios went above and beyond to make sure our engagement photos, the bridal portrait and our wedding photos were unique and exactly what we wanted. Lauren and Brian are so nice and easy to work with. Kudos to them both for making sure we got great pictures with our dogs too! I'm sure that wasn't easy. I think it would be an honor for Lauren to photograph anyone because she is so talented.

Lauren has so much talent that continues to blow me away! We have yet to see all of our wedding photos but the previews she has posted are absolutely amazing. Throughout the entire process, she has been easy to work with and prompt in responding and editing the photographs. Her ease behind the camera and ability to direct people with efficiency made the photographs after the ceremony so effortless for us! She was able to pull us away from the reception for about 15 minutes to take some shots at night outside which were outstanding!!! I highly recommend doing this, it allows you and your new husband to take a moment to be together without all of your guests around! If you are looking for a photographer for anything, Lauren Waterhouse is the way to go! She will not fall short of your expectations she will exceed them! Thanks again Lauren. Lauren was absolutely amazing!!! She was so on top of things and really captured all the amazing moments that the day bought. I recommend her services to everyone I know that is getting married or needs a photographer for any other reason. The photos are beyond beautiful, now the hard part is deciding which ones I want in canvas on my walls.

Lauren is AMAZING!!! My husband & I could not have chosen a better photographer for our wedding! She exceeded our expectations on every level. We had Lauren photograph 4 different events over 2 days (we had 2 ceremonies - Christian & Indian). On the 2nd day she was taking pictures for OVER 13 HOURS & she could not have been more professional, passionate, & fun to work with. She was equally outstanding with our engagement & maternity photo sessions. As you can see from her work, she is extremely talented & has a great eye for creating beautiful photographs that will last a lifetime. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Lauren. The most important vendor to have at your wedding is an excellent photographer. Lauren met every expectation and more than I could have asked for. She listens to what you want and makes sure to document every special moment. She manages to stay out of the way so that the guest at your wedding get to enjoy the day, but still manages to capture the best memories. My father in law has named her the "ninja photographer" because every time he thought a good photo opportunity arose, he would look for Lauren and she would already be snapping away. She's excellent at what she does and you can see a genuine love of her talent in every image. Her turn around time is quick and the quality of her product is impeccable. I will recommend Lauren to every bride to be.

I love a great picture . . . you know the kind that draws you in and leaves you wanting more. I've seen too many bad wedding photos and some of my poor friends fell victim to photographers recommended by family friends. After seeing what they went through (for heaven's sake, they cried over their photos), I knew that I had to have the best pictures of my wedding so that I could remember my special day just as it happened. Lauren came highly recommended by a close friend so I checked out her website and was amazed by the quality of the photos. I especially love the way she captures a moment in time . . . it's like you're watching someone's life from the outside but it still feels so intimate. I knew I wanted her at our wedding because everything flashes by so quickly at a wedding and I needed the pictures to remind me of everything that happened. Lauren did an amazing job with our wedding photos. I am so pleased to have such stunning photos that capture every moment of our special day right down to the smallest detail. We have had so many compliments on our photos and I have given out numerous referrals to other brides. The photos were so great that Levine's Museum (our venue) posted them to their blog! I especially appreciated (and I know my parents did too) how affordable she made her wedding packages and how flexible she was when I wanted to add different things to my package. You will not find another photographer of this caliber at such a reasonable price. My advice is to book her immediately (her dates go fast)!

Lauren was great to work with. She makes getting your picture taken very enjoyable (esp if you tend to be on the shy side!) My husband and I are extremely pleased with the way our wedding photos turned out! She was very easy to work with & extremely flexible with her schedule. We got our pictures in a timely manner! Lauren even sent us "sneak peaks" the night of our wedding! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a great/affordable photographer.

Lauren was an absolutely wonderful photography! She was so great to work with us even though we were planning our wedding from long distance! She took the most beautiful pictures I have every seen. I loved that she knew exactly what she was doing and she made sure to take every picture I wanted and great creative shots of her own! She's a wonderful choice! Lauren was great! When I was looking for a photographer, there were hundreds. But I needed someone who was affordable and good, and Lauren was just that! Lauren was incredible! Even in the stressful pre-wedding moments, she was on top of her game and not only took amazingly beautiful pictures, but she helped out in any way she saw fit. For example, she helped me fix my dress and reminded me that most weddings are kind of chaotic when I was freaking out! She went above and beyond the call of a wedding photographer and our pictures are absolutely beautiful! She is very reasonably priced and I would recommend her to anyone! When I first saw Lauren's photos on a friend's Facebook, I thought there was no way I could afford her services. Much to my surprise (and delight) she was more reasonably priced than any of the other photographers I had looked at. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met, and her work speaks for herself. She did our engagement photos as well, and we were very happy with them as well. She is very professional, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone!!

Having Lauren as our wedding photographer was SUCH a blessing and an answered prayer to our family! Her flexibility in scheduling and her willingness to accommodate was much appreciated considering the busyness in the months leading up to our wedding! Lauren worked with our budget and provided us with an awesome package that was beyond reasonable, and we couldn't be happier with the results! Lauren's sense of professionalism and sweet personality made it very easy for us to relax and have fun during our photo sessions, which left us with AMAZING engagement, bridal, and wedding pictures!! Lauren is an amazing photographer. I am in love with each and every one of my pictures from the engagement, bridal, to the wedding photographs. She has excellent use of light and has very professional, top notch equipment. She knows exactly how to get artistic and formal pictures before, during, and after the wedding. She is flexible, easy going, and a pleasure to work with. She is also very punctual. She will beat you to the photography site. Also, Lauren is very good at giving direction and can take many pictures in a short amount of time. She has a very fast turn around time and even gives you a sneak peek the day of the photo-shoot! I would highly recommend Waterhouse Studios to any bride. If I had to do it all over again, I would pick Lauren as my photographer every time.

Lauren was very professional, reliable and punctual throughout the entire process. Her photos speak for themselves. She does a wonderful job and is a joy to work with. Honestly out of all my bridal portraits, ceremony, reception and photo booth pictures there was not a single bad shot. It made it very hard to pick your favorite because they were all so good. I have received so many compliments on her photographs and would highly recommend her.

Lauren was the perfect wedding photographer. She was so easy to work with and made things very comfortable. Our engagement was short, but she worked us into her hectic schedule on days that worked best for us. The pictures were beautiful, and she had great ideas that added a little extra flare. The Waterhouse team did a fabulous job on our pictures! They were willing to meet with us in a pinch to get our engagement pictures done the week before our wedding... And we had a sneak preview of the pictures either the same day or the day afterwards. I love that about Lauren, she does not leave her customers waiting. We had an excellent experience with Waterhouse Studios and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a wonderful photographer!

Waterhouse Studios has done several photography sessions for me: Bridal Shower, Bachelorette Party, Wedding Rehearsal, Wedding, Anniversary Pictures. Lauren is such a great spirit and her pictures reflect that. You can tell that she really loves what she does. I have her pictures hanging all over my house.
