  Janel is amazing & so talented!!

  We commissioned Janel for our live wedding painter and were so impressed with her friendliness, organization, and of course the amazing talent that she has!!! We could not be happier with the final result & have already hung it up in our house! Thank you so much Janel!

  Fantasy Fulfilled

  The floral designs that Janel and the Vivid Expressions team create are pure masterpieces! Her creative talents are wholeheartedly conveyed through her works of art. Because of Janel's artistry, my wedding embodied a "pineapple paradise" vibe. I will forever be completely obsessed with the lovely floral creations that were made for my special day. It truly made me feel as if I were transported on a tropical getaway! Janel emanates positive energy and was very sweet to work with. I cannot wait to have the Vivid Expressions team at my next future event!

  Beautiful and Unique!

  Working with Janel at Vivid Expressions has been one of our favorite decisions for our wedding day. We had a vision of a travel-themed wedding with some unique centerpieces that didn't include just flowers. However, we had a lower end budget. Janel made sure to not only respect our budget, but produce everything we wanted for our big day! Her kind, warm personality made it so easy to work with her. We love that unlike other floral planners, she provides you with a custom hand-created picture of what your wedding day's decor will look like. We found that super useful and could adjust anything that we didn't like (although we loved everything she presented to us). Definitely recommend her for your wedding day decor and flowers! We even received a little thank you gift after our wedding. She sent us the cutest travel-themed thank you cards to send to our guests. We loved working with Janel!

  Working with Janel was nothing short of AMAZING! Her ability to take our story, listen to our likes and dislikes, and tap into our vision was just what we were looking for in our decorator/florist.   Janel did a fantastic job with my July wedding. I received numerous compliments from guests and the catering staff on the decor. I trusted her completely to create something beautiful and she really went above and beyond and put together exactly what I envisioned and then some. I really don't understand why anyone would work with anyone else for their event she is undoubtedly the best.

  OH MY GOODNESS were they great I came in a 2 weeks before my wedding and ordered 5 bridesmaids/honors bouquets but mine and something for my husband and my mom not only did she draw a wonderful arrangement she also made them they were so beautiful and smelled amazing I could be happier. I am so very grateful for everything she did. wonderful work and well wroth every penny. I will not be getting my arrangements from anyone else!

  We could not have picked a better service than Vivid Expressions LLC. We told a story of how we met and what we wanted for our wedding; Janel took it from there. We had dreamed of a beach house wedding and we chose a house was site unseen (since we were from out of town);We were unable to see the insides of the beach house until the week before. Plans were drawn up by Janel for the ceremony to be held inside but last minute changes to the guest list did not allow for this to happen (venue was not large enough). I made a call out to Janel 3 days before the wedding and said we need to change the venue site to the outside (luckily the weather cooperated). Janel said no problem and on the day of the wedding, the site was transformed into our dream. Excellent work!!!! Great site planning - the wedding went better than anyone could expect!

  I had a vision about how I wanted my invitations to look, but just couldn't find what I was looking for, I went to Janel with a unique request to sketch my invitation. I described to her what I was looking for and said for her to take creative freedom to make it come to life. She exceeded my vision and my invites were one of a kind, and I still am getting compliments on how gorgeous they were! I am so thrilled with how they came out.
  I also wanted a different feel at my venue to reflect the uplighting and elegance that I was looking for. Janel provided the most beautiful chandelier with draping for the ceiling and walls. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. And once again exceeding my vision of how I wanted my reception room to look.   Hello all I would like to introduce you to Janel Keen, one of the best wedding planners this side of heaven!!!!! I must admit I am a weddingholic ( I'm probably obsessed). I love everything about weddings and from my pre-teen years I have always been planning my wedding day. When my fiance and I decided to have our wedding in Virginia Beach to accommodate his elderly family members I knew that I was making a big move by having a destination wedding. I immediately became very anxious because I know everything about weddings in NY, but nothing about weddings in VA. I searched wedding wire to no avail and had a phone conference with almost every wedding planner in the Hampton Roads area. Then finally I scrolled upon Vivid Expressions. As soon as I called Janel, and expressed my dreams she immediately made them into reality!!!!! From start to finish she was professional, friendly, and very loving. As my wedding party grew from 250 to 380 people Janel was definitely challenged, but it was certainly not beyond anything she couldn't handle! She was well organized and helped me to know that once I place my trust in her everything will be alright. And indeed it was. Janel, her family, and the staff at Vivid Expression are exceptional!!!!!!!!   We received a recommendation from our wedding planner about Janel's services. After hearing how Janel comes up with ideas and how she came up with designs/mocks, we thought her services were a perfect fit to what my husband and I wanted. We had a asian/japanese/cherry blossom theme and everything came out beautifully.
  
  After speaking with her about various topics such as colors, the types of flowers, the overall design and budget, Janel came up with a few concepts. She showed us hand-drawn images of my bouqet, the groom's boutonniere, the look of the church alter, and the look of the reception area. She envisioned exactly what we had in mind. She even included the cherry blossom tree lighting design that Blue Steel provided for us. It was glorious.

  This company is a great vendor to work with. Janel keen is as amazing artist. All I did was tell her what type of flowers I wanted and she made it work. Plus it was within my budget!!!

  Janel is very creative and does beautiful work. I feel that I did not use as much of her creative artistry and talent as I should have. But that's what makes her great. She adjusts to the needs of the bride. I basically wanted someone to set up the day of and make sure everything runs smoothly. Most of our guests were from out of town and it was perfect that i did not have anything to worry about before and during the wedding.

  Janel was AMAZING. When she sent me her sketches, I thought I was in love, until I saw the final product and realized that the drawings just couldn't do it justice. The ceremony room was gorgeous, and she had the perfect accessories to accent her beautiful arrangements. My bouquet was out of this world, and managed to capture our wedding colors perfectly. The centerpieces for the reception were jaw-dropping. She used masquerade masks in the bouquets that PERFECTLY complemented the ones we provided our guests for our Halloween wedding. A minor snag prevents me from giving her the full 5/5 -- we had requested a pink rose to be placed at an empty seat for my husband's mother who passed away, but it totally worked out because I took one out of my bouquet and no one was any wiser. She made all her meetings work with my busy schedule, and her use of Honeybook to track payments and appointments made everything REALLY easy on my end. I was beyond thrilled with how great her work was, and I highly recommend Vivid Expressions to every bride-to-be.
