    If you're looking for a day-of coordinator or a full-service wedding planner, look no further than Velvet Alley Events! Soltana and her team are truly the best.
    From the very beginning, they made every step of our wedding journey feel easy and enjoyable, and every detail came together beautifully. One of the greatest gifts they gave us was peace of mind, I never felt stressed or worried about how everything would come together because I completely trusted Soltana and her team to handle it. Knowing they were behind the scenes allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our special day.
    What made the experience even more meaningful was Soltana's genuine excitement for our wedding. She embraced our ideas, helped guide us through important decisions, and made sure every detail reflected who we are as a couple. She truly cared about bringing our vision to life, and that made us feel incredibly special throughout the entire process.

    Don’t think twice about using Velvet Alley for your events! We had the best experience working with Soltana on our wedding to help with 60 day-month of coordination. Towards the end of the wedding process, we were feeling overwhelmed about missing important details. However, we had nothing to worry about as Soltana helped us think through it all and had many helpful templates to make sure nothing got lost in the shuffle/the day went according to our vision. This was especially helpful as our wedding was at the Adamson House in Malibu, which had a lot of special requirements. Soltana did a great job coordinating all the vendors - making sure everyone was prepared for the wedding. The day of went so smoothly, we didn’t have to answer a single question or respond to any concerns. Soltana and her team ran the event seamlessly (from ceremony to cocktail party to reception). It was a pleasure to work with them! They were professional and fun. They have the wedding process, esp. at the Adamson House, down to a science.

    So glad to have worked with Velvet Alley Events!

    We couldn't recommend the Velvet Alley Events team enough! Soltana was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and provided such detailed information and advice. Our initial meeting brought up so many details we hadn't thought of before. We were also blown away by the amount of support Soltana and the rest of her team provided the day-of the wedding. They were all hands on deck - they answered everyone's questions, showed everyone where to go, and were able to stick to a strict timeline. Our guests kept complimenting us on how smoothly everything ran and how helpful all of the staff were. We couldn't be more grateful to have worked with them!

    Soltana was the best wedding planner I could have imagined. She was cautious with helping us stay on budget and so helpful with all the vendors, taking the pressure off of us to coordinate timing and equipment needed. She was so supportive during all the planning and the wedding itself. Her attitude was always positive and reassuring with all our questions and concerns. Couldn't imagine planning the wedding without Soltana calm , reassuring demeanor.

    Soltana, supported us with what was needed and what was most important for the wedding. She always took our calls and emails right away!

    Perfection from Start to Finish

    We cannot say enough amazing things about Velvet Alley Events and especially Soltana, who was our wedding coordinator. She was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish and played such a huge part in making our wedding the most magical day of our lives.

    Soltana went above and beyond in every possible way — from ensuring the entire day ran seamlessly to helping my wife with her dress throughout the night, she was there for us every step of the way. Her calm energy, incredible attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel so supported and stress-free.

    It truly felt like she sprinkled a little bit of magic over the entire day. Everything was executed flawlessly, and we owe so much of that to her and the Velvet Alley Events team.     Amazing wedding planner

    Soltana and her team are a planning powerhouse! Soltana is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in planning weddings and we would have been lost without her guidance. She ensured our wedding day was flawless and took any worries off our plates, helping us feel more comfortable, and she had all of our vendors on the same page, even with some last minute changes we made. Her friendly and attentive nature put us at ease and we are so grateful for the guidance she provided us leading up to the wedding and on our big day. She and the Velvet Alley team were available to troubleshoot at a moment’s notice on our wedding day and made sure everything was taken care of. There are so many things we simply wouldn’t have thought of, and Soltana helped us plan for it all to make our wedding really feel like us. Highly recommend!

    Smooth Wedding

    You NEED them on your wedding day!!!

    We were so lucky to have had Velvet Alley Events during the process of planning our wedding and on our wedding day. I do not know what I would have done without the help of Soltana and her team. Our day was complete perfection because of them!!! Planning a wedding can be stressful and overwhelming and it is easy to overlook small details. Soltana was perfection on making sure this did not happen. She is so organized and amazing at what she does and such a professional. Would 100% recommend them and if I had to do it over again I would hire them in a heart beat!!! Thank you so much Velver Alley Events for making our wedding day a breeze.

    Best Team Ever!

    Soltana and her team at Velvet Alley Events were everything you could ask for when it comes to your big day. They were responsive, professional, and went above and beyond to be helpful. We were short two boutonnieres and had an extra bouquet. So, they made two boutonnieres from that bouquet. They even stitched up one of the suits that had a small hole in the back. Truly an amazing team that made our day so incredibly enjoyable and stress-free. Thank you, Velvet Alley Events, and all the amazing work you did to make our day so Special.

    Velvet Alley + Soltana made our day PERFECT

    Wow Wow! Velvet Alley is the only planner/coordinator I will ever recommend! I hired VA as my month of/day of coord for our wedding and they were amazing. It was so helpful having unlimited emails with Soltana + Velvet Alley leading up tot the big day. Soltana and her team really prioritized us and made us feel like we were the only wedding she had on her plate, when in reality they were busy busy! Soltana and her team were so responsive and always had the right advice. Soltana has the most calm and reassuring demeanor and made the wedding day run so smoothly. Any hiccup was anticipated and anything that came up was handled with ease and poise. Soltana and her team KNOW their stuff and have the experience to make your wedding day go exactly as you plan.     Such a pleasure to work with and made scheduling a breeze.

    Velvet Alley Events was a pleasure to work with as our wedding coordinator. Soltana was very responsive and answered any inquiries in the months leading up to our wedding. She was especially attentive about the schedule and vendor arrivals for the wedding day. Soltana made sure we received detailed information about what to bring and the flow of the day. On the wedding day, Cindy and her team followed the schedule and frequently checked in with the bridal and grooms parties to ensure we were comfortable. They laid out our decorations for the ceremony and reception and collected everything by the end of the night. They also oversaw the vendor arrivals and distributed our tips to them. We greatly appreciate how professional and helpful Velvet Alley Events was in making our wedding an efficient, smooth, and joyful occasion.

    Exceptional Services!

    My husband and I were required to book a wedding day coordinator as per the policy at our venue. They had recommended we book with Velvet Alley Events to help the day go smoothly. What we received was beyond what we imagined! Soltana and her team had thought of and took care of all the little details we would have never thought of on our own. Not only where they extremely professional with us, but also had excellent communication with our vendors. When the wedding day arrived, we felt truly taken care of. Even though our other vendors were late, Velvet Alley managed to keep everything regulated perfectly. They even found my husband a time to be alone together and to just sit and relax for a moment while they brought us our cocktail appetizers and drinks privately to enjoy. Soltana helped me put on my shoes as we were in a rush to enter the reception! They also took care of our bridal party and were supporting them right before their speeches! They were truly the best, I could not recommend Soltana and her team more! God bless your exceptional services!

    Organized & Helpful!

    Our wedding day at Eden Gardens was absolutely perfect thanks to Soltana and her team of assistant coordinators! From the beginning, Soltana was very organized and thorough as she asked us questions about our wedding details. She provided a questionnaire and list of decorative items that made planning simple and easy. She offered helpful suggestions and kept tight communication with us in the days leading up to our Day Of. I had been a little worried that certain items would not be set up as requested or forgotten, but Soltana had every little detail remembered and executed perfectly. We were also very impressed that she knew the names of everyone in our bridal party and even our parents. Our wedding day came and went way too quickly, but Velvet Alley Events kept us on schedule the entire time. My husband and I got a chance to speak with and create memories with all of our guests, thanks to the Velvet Alley Events team! We are so grateful that no special moments were missed. Our day was truly the most magical, beautiful day EVER and we owe a huge part of that to Velvet Alley Events!

    Soltana and her team are the best

    Soltana and her team are AMAZING. We had our wedding 4/2021 and I don’t know what we would do without them.

    We had to postpone our wedding twice due to covid and Soltana was always there for us along the way - she was responsive and always got back to us promptly putting all our concerns at ease. During the day of the wedding Soltana along with the back up coordinators Cindy and Daniella were extremely organized and made everything go smoothly - handling our guests, bridal party, and constantly checking on myself and hubby. After the wedding, many of our guests told us how impressed they were with how organized our wedding was - some even told us it was the best wedding they have ever attended!

    Thank you Velvet Alley for making our wedding so memorable. You ladies are amazing at what you do!

    Soltana is AMAZING!!!

    Hire Soltana and her team immediately!!!! Soltana was so professional, kind, and detail oriented every step of the planning process. We hired her as our day-of coordinator, and she made us feel so at ease and confident that she had everything under control. Our families were so impressed with how efficiently she ran our rehearsal, and how cool, calm, and collected she was throughout the wedding day. She took care of us all night, anticipating our needs and keeping us fed, with drinks in hand!! She made us feel so cared for, and not like just another wedding!     The BEST team!

    Soltana and her team were AMAZING! We initially were supposed to get married in 2021, but due to Covid we decided to postpone our wedding an extra year. Soltana stood by our side through the whole process and was able to help us reschedule with both our venue and our vendors. I thought that this process was going to completely stress us out, but Soltana made it stress free and easy. There is no way I would of been able to plan my wedding without Soltana and her team. I always had heard of brides complain about wedding planning and how stressful and exhausting it is, but I honestly felt no stress the whole process and I 100% think the only reason for that is because I was so confident in Soltana and knew that everything would work out and be PERFECT.
    Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of. It went flawlessly and looking back, both my husband and I have ZERO complaints. It was truly the best day of our lives.
    Thank you Soltana and team for being so awesome, if I ever have a friend or a family member that needs a planning team- Velvet Alley will be what I recommend always without a doubt.

    Amazing wedding coordinator!

    Soltana and her team were phenomenal! They made our entire day stress free and so smooth. Soltana took care of all the vendor coordination in the 30 days leading up to our wedding, made our day-of schedule and took care of all of the setup and day-of tasks. She allowed me to enjoy my day with my girls getting ready and I didn't have to worry about anything. She also guided us through the entire evening at a perfect pace! Highly recommend!

    Had the best day ever!

    Our wedding day was amazing and I'm sure that's because of Velvet Alley Events! We worked with Soltana throughout the 2 years of our postponed wedding and then worked with Cindy the day of our wedding and both of them were truly the most helpful, organized, and kind coordinators ever. They truly care about you and your day and go above and beyond to make sure that even if there are issues, that you never hear about it! They just take care of it! Seriously, our day wouldn't have been what it was without Velvet Alley Events.

    We loved Velvet Alley! Can't recommend enough!!

    Having Velvet Alley run our big day played a HUGE part in our wedding being the best day of our lives. With so many moving parts, Soltana and her team were on it! Soltana has a way of handling it ALL with ease and a super friendly, calm demeanor. She was extremely responsive via phone/email whenever we had questions throughout the wedding planning process and we were so glad we brought her and her team on for the entire day at Eden Gardens, our venue. I would 100% recommend VA to anyone. My husband works in the wedding industry with hundreds of coordinators and felt so lucky to have this fantastic experience on his own wedding day.     Amazing, Highly Recommend!

    The team at Velvet Alley Events made our wedding seamless!! Soltana and Cindy were amazing and handled every detail so well. From addressing questions during the rehearsal to our big day, they made sure everything was taken care of including small delays to making changes last minute, they were on it! As a bride it is stressful enough to make sure things get done and go the way we want it but on my wedding day, I did not feel like I had to stress about anything or even thought of what was happening behind the scenes. My husband and I not from Southern California and it was very comforting knowing that things were handled properly given that we traveled all the way from Northern California to have our wedding at Eden Gardens (our beautiful venue). They are very organized and kept me up to date with everything. Highly recommend for events! Thank you so much!!

    Highly organized, detailed, and a dream to work with!

    Soltana was absolutely incredible! She knows exactly what's up. She was extremely responsive throughout the entire year preceding the wedding and handled everything the weekend of our wedding perfectly. EXTREMELY on top of her stuff. As the groom I was able to watch my bride sit back after a year of planning and let Soltana and her team handle absolutely everything. Even our officiant said she is the best wedding coordinator he's ever worked with!

    Amazing Wedding Coordinator!

    Soltana and her team knew what they were doing! Soltana is sooooo good to work with. She's done this a few times I think :). She's very responsive in her emails, we had a lot of questions and she was always there to hold our hand and calm us down when we were overwhelmed with the whole wedding thing. She recommended some good songs when we weren't sure what to use for certain parts of the wedding. She recommended certain ways to do things that made it work for our wedding party and ceremony/reception.
    During the rehearsal, she made sure everyone knew exactly what they were supposed to do and the order of events for the coming day. She made sure to run through the ceremony as many times as needed to ensure everyone was comfortable
    Wedding day- Soltana and her team were so attentive and responsive to our every need. Extremely efficient in how they worked. We gave her a general idea of how we wanted our decoration set up and she was able to arrange everything beautifully. We did not run into any problems the entire day.

    Overall working with Soltana was a pleasant and wonderful experience. Her knowledge and planning helped ensure we had a perfect day!

    Beyond my expectations!

    Our wedding was last Sunday and wow, I'm still blown away. Every guest I've talked to, and my parents and friends have talked to said it was the best wedding we've ever been to. The venue is just drop dead gorgeous and I think the wedding looked three times as expensive as it was. We had so much fun! The food was amazing! And the catering team was great.

    We were able to come visit the venue anytime, and unlike other venues, Kay who gave us tours wasn't pushy at all for us to book the venue. She even showed up on our wedding day just to watch our first dance, and checked with us of course. We really grew to love the whole staff!

    On the big day I was able to relax and enjoy it thanks to being able to trust Soltana who was our day or coordinator. She really went above and beyond to the point that I could fully trust her to run the show, and I'm crazy perfectionist ocd. She was really easy to contact via phone and email anytime and she always got back to my many many emails promptly!

    We couldn't be happier with our wedding! And we're so excited our lives together started out on the perfect note!

    Calm and understanding

    It was about three months out that I realized I needed help. Miss Kay from Eden gardens recommended Soltana. I called her and I’m ashamed to say I used some profanity and declared that I am in over my head. She swooped I’m like a fairy god mother and handled it. I still had a lot of choices to make, but her meticulous methods made it very easy. I have a rowdy group of family and friends. She wasn’t phased at all. Soltana is an amazing planner and I certainly owe her a Christmas card this year. She brings one other person to help keep the day on track. My sweet flower girl, three year old, had a massive meltdown. Soltana fixes this instantly. My flower girl was not on the grand entrance and Soltana gave her a grand entrance! She was the happiest little girl. Perfect day and so much stress off my plate.

    Soltana is the BEST!

    Our wedding was August 9, 2019. We booked Velvet Alley for month-of coordination services. Soltana was always very prompt to respond to emails and phone calls. She was professional and cheerful and her office space is so cute! Wedding planning gets overwhelming but Soltana will make sure you understand what to do, when to do it and how to do it. The day of our wedding she was on point and so helpful. I can’t thank her enough. She was so thoughtful even asking me if I needed anything to drink, bringing me wine, making sure my family and I got to eat some appetizers, making sure my husband and I ate some dinner. And helping to fix my dress when my clasp broke off thanks to my new husband lol! She was a joy to work with and I was at ease knowing she was taking care of everything that day.

    Amazing Coordinator

    Soltana is amazing. She is everything you want in a day of coordinator. She was very helpful from our first meeting day to our wedding day. Her organization is incredible and the big day went so smoothly! Her team did such an awesome job.

    I honestly have no words how amazing Soltana was from the moment I met her! She is amazing! Soltana and her team made the day go so smooth and dealt with any issues that arose quickly and professionally.     AMAZING Wedding Coordinator!

    Soltana was AMAZING when it came down to the planning process, and she guided us through the entire system step-by-step, to make sure that everything was thought of. And there were a LOT of things that my wife and I did not think about (It was our first wedding), and Soltana made sure that everything was accounted for. I would definitely recommend paying a little extra to hire her as your day-of coordinator. She even helped us set up a scavenger hunt!

    And the day of the wedding the entire staff was wonderful. They guided us through every part of the wedding, and made sure that my wife and I could focus on enjoying our time, while they made sure that everything ran smoothly. Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding day MAGICAL :)

    Life saver

    Day-of/Month-of coordinators are something that I heard a lot about but didn't really know anything about when looking into them, and let me tell you - MONEY WELL SPENT. Oh my gosh, seriously, my wedding would have been a WRECK without Soltana and her team at Velvet Alley Events! Not only was Soltana really great to work with beforehand (she answered my questions quickly and thoroughly, gave me lots of helpful information), but day of was a lifesaver. It rained on my wedding day (when the forecast said it would be done hours before the ceremony, and it wasn't), and they were great at moving the ceremony, making everything for the ceremony and reception absolutely gorgeous, and letting me enjoy the day without worrying about anything. Save yourself the worrying and stressing over executing everything day of, and hire Soltana to take care of it for you. I wish I could have another event just so I could work with her again!

    Amazing Service!

    I had Soltana as my month-of coordinator for my wedding, and she and her team were awesome! She truly worked with us every step of the way - always going above and beyond her job to really make sure we had every and anything we wanted. While she was extremely professional, all of my meetings and interactions with her never felt stuffy. She always had a personal level, where she was understanding and flexible, never treating us like one of many clients that she didn't have time for. I know she does tons of weddings, but she never made us feel rushed, insignificant, or anything other than top priority!

    We had a true bare bones venue where everything was BYO, making logistics and vendor coordination much trickier than usual. Soltana took care of it all, never making me feel like something wasn't possible. We had lots of changing minds, logistical challenges, inclement weather - all of which Soltana and her assistants took care of.

    It sounds cliche, and I know a lot of people "don't tell the bride" things during the wedding, but I truly felt like the entire day went PERFECTLY. Soltana and her team worked behind the scenes all day to make sure my husband and I had the night of our lives - which we really did.

    I'd recommend her to any couple in the area. Thank you Velvet Alley Events and Soltana!

    Truly An Amazing Company!!

    Soltana Mulhearn from Velvet Alley Events is an all star! We had hired Soltana and her team to be our day of coordinator, and words cannot describe on how amazing they are. We got married this past October at the Gardens at Los Robles, and our wedding ran so smooth thanks to Velvet Alley Event! Due to our limited budget, we had done a lot of the decorations ourselves. Soltana and her team were not discouraged by the task, and set everything up to make our dream wedding come true! This company is truly amazing, and Soltana is such a sweetheart! If you’re in the area and are in need of a coordinator, you need to go with Velvet Alley Events! They really do strive to make your wedding vision come true, and run as smooth as possible!!!

    Stellar Wedding Coordinator!

    Velvet Alley Events, specifically Soltana Mulhearn, helped to make our special day absolutely memorable at Eden Gardens!

    From the get-go, Soltana ensured that we were taken care of. From the first client intake meeting, where Soltana had us fill out an exhaustive questionnaire and answered any of the niggling questions that filled our heads, to the many, many, many follow-up questions that we sent via email, text, or phone call, she made sure that we understood, and felt comfortable with, everything that would be needed to make our wedding absolutely perfect.

    My bride is a bit of a Bridezilla, and I'm a bit of a Groomzilla, so I understand that, as a pair, we were a LOT to handle! From our custom-made centerpieces to our custom photos mounted on easels in specific locations around the venue, it was essential for us to understand natural restrictions of both the venue, and the staff for each vendor. Soltana was intimately familiar with all of these and let us know what was, and was not, possible, and worked with us, and the vendors, to ensure that everything went smoothly and competently. For many weeks before the wedding, she set forth a specific schedule of what each vendor would likely be doing every hour of the day, and walked us through the process as many times as we needed to fully understand how the complicated orchestration of parts would be fulfilled.

    The day of our wedding, we were absolutely blessed enough to have Soltana be our day-of coordinator as well (Velvet Alley has several day-of coordinators), and she ensured that everything, from our custom-made centerpieces, to our custom-made escort cards, to our custom-made photographs, to our custom-made program displays, and our custom-ordered sand ceremony paraphernalia, was all placed correctly at the right times, and even made many decisions that we didn't even think of to ensure that it all went according to plan! She even thought of some great ideas to improve the pacing of our reception the day of, and ensured we were both OK with her new idea before implementing it with our vendors. All of our guests really enjoyed the attention to detail Velvet Alley's staff paid to our wedding and how they politely kept everyone on schedule.

    Throughout the day and night, she stayed with all of us, nudging our bridal party along, gathering members appropriately when necessary, and even found and returned lost keys that had been misplaced! She continuously checked in with us to ensure we were happy with how the night progressed, and made sure we ate not only our dinner, but a little bit of each of our desserts, ice cream, cake, and custom drinks. I couldn't recommend Velvet Alley highly enough!

    Soltana and her team with an amazing job at our wedding ( Humming Bird Nest Ranch 9/22/18). My now wife and I could not be happier with their services.     I have NO WORDS to express how wonderful Soltana is!!!!! She is the absolute BEST! We had a Persian/ American wedding at Eden Gardens with 215 people. My mother owns an interior design business where I work with her as well. She is VERY detail-oriented, specific and involved and very difficult to please and let's just say that Soltana completely exceeded her expectations. Soltana and her team went above and beyond to make sure every little detail we mentioned was taken care of better than we could have imagined. My mom always had someone by her side for anything she needed so we never had to chase someone down for help during the wedding and it just felt so comfortable knowing everything was in Soltana's hands! It is so difficult to find someone to completely trust for such a huge meaningful event that you have once in a lifetime, especially when you are spending so much time and money planning, but Velvet Alley Events completely has it down. I will promise you that Soltana and her team will take away every single worry and fear you could even think of. I couldn't have imagined my wedding without them.     We were really grateful and thankful for Soltana and her team! They provided expertise guidance during every visit and helped make suggestions on everything--even the small details that we did not think of. They also helped set up a lot of decor and items to perfection and went above and beyond in every way. I loved the way they rearranged the ceremony decorations for our reception area and sweetheart table. All of our guests were really impressed with the wedding planner and her team. As a couple getting married, there is a lot to plan for and Soltana responded quickly to any question that we had. She definitely relieved any stress during the planning period and day of.

    Never in my life did I ever think I would need a coordinator for my wedding, that was until I met Soltana and her amazing team.

    We used Velvet Alley Events for our day-of Coordinator since their partial service was included when we booked our venue. We ended up adding on extra hours and an extra person, and I'm really glad we did. Soltana and her team were awesome! Our wedding day ran so smoothly, and I really felt like I didn't need to worry about a thing once we arrived at the venue. They were very detail-oriented. One thing that sticks out in my mind was that we had bought little to-go boxes for our dessert bar (in case people were full), and they assembled all of them so that our guests could just grab and go. It didn't even cross my mind that they would do that for us/the guests (I figured the guests would do it, lol). My husband and I were both very happy with Velvet Alley Events, and we can't recommend them enough!

    I have nothing but great words and good thoughts of Soltana at VAE. She knows her stuff, and took care of everything. As suggested on many other reviews, we paid for the extra hours so that we did not have to do anything! The staff took care of everything, and so we were able to just enjoy our special day.

    My now husband and I had our wedding at Eden Gardens and we were fortunate enough to work with Soltana to prep for our special day. Since the first time we met her, she was super charismatic and we knew she was going to be a pleasure to work with right then and there. She was super responsive and always willing to answer any questions and give her honest, professional opinions. Soltana is all ears, willing to listen. She somehow always knew exactly what we wanted. You can tell that she loves what she does as she truly expresses it through her professionalism. She is willing to go above and beyond to accommodate your needs, and make sure you have the best, most amazing wedding day ever. My wedding would not have been the same without Soltana.     Received referral to Soltana from our venue, Hummingbird Nest Ranch, and am SO THANKFUL! We designed and planned my daughter's wedding, then hired Soltana for month/day of coordination. As a PMP, I was very impressed with how quickly she absorbed all of our information and plan detail; she was able to jump right in and add value. She tracked and tied up all loose ends, and thoroughly documented our event timeline. I hired all the vendors prior to Soltana joining us, and she quickly took the reins and made certain they were completely prepared for our big day. Unfortunately, the day of our event, we had serious performance issues with our vendors. Soltana and her team were miraculous in dealing with all of these, which is not what she was hired to do. She spent the entire day/night babysitting paid professionals, in order to keep our event going, all without my daughter and her husband knowing a thing. She has a keen eye for detail and keeps her clients best interest in mind (prevented us from incurring penalty fees as a result of bad vendor behavior). Keep in mind, she didn't hire these vendors, she inherited them from me. But it didn't matter, she made the day happen according to plan. If you're looking for a planning partner, don't look any further than Soltana - SHE'S THE BEST!

    I worked with Soltana after receiving her as a recommendation from our venue, MountainGate Country Club. I planned the wedding from out of state and she was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was responsive and timely with her communications and incredibly helpful in letting me ship items out ahead of time. She also went out of her way on the morning of the wedding to bring my bouquet to the hotel so I could have it earlier for pictures. At the ceremony and reception, everything ran flawlessly and on-time. My husband, who wasn't super involved in the planning process, even commented that he felt she did a fantastic job. She truly went above and beyond and helped to create a perfect day that I was able to truly enjoy because I didn't have to stress about the details.

    Working with Soltana and her team was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, she was professional, knowledgeable, and genuine in her interest of what I was looking for. She offered great suggestions when I was unsure about something and was able to answer questions about other vendors when I was trying to choose who to work with. On the day of the wedding, she and her assistant Lindy were there every step of the way. I ended up paying a bit extra to keep them both until the end of the night and I am SO happy that I did - definitely one of the best decisions that I made. Soltana and Lindy were very helpful in gathering up all the gifts, cards, decor, and coordinating with the vendors returning at the end of the night to pick up their pieces.     HUGE SHOUT OUT TO SOLTANA AND KAY!! Even though, on paper, we had Kay for our day-of-coordinator, I felt like we had Soltana and Kay as our planners.

    Husband and I live in SF so we had to Facetime with Soltana and Kay for our meetings but they were easy and very straightforward. Every time I felt anxious or panic-y, I remembered Soltana and Kay to feel at ease.

    On the day of – so. Much. Respect. For. Coordinators]. Kay and her assistant were angels. Other than Kay being by my side and basically running the show, my utmost respect for Kay was when my elder family members who did not speak English had questions/requests, Kay was patient with them by trying to understand them. I really appreciated that and cannot thank her enough.

    Their services were amazing! I didn't know how much we would need them that day until the day came. Soltana made everything run so smoothly without any effort on our part.     Soltana and her team were THE BEST!! They made sure everything was in place. Soltana made a timeline for us, breaking down the times for everything!! The day of the wedding I literally had to jump out of my car and run into the venue because there was people arriving super early and I didn't want them to see me so I called soltana and she told me to just pull up and come inside, she handled the rest. She also fixed my garter that was a little big she walked in with a mini sewing kit and fixed it really quick. Thank you Soltana and your team for everything! Our wedding would've been the same without you guys!

    I can't say enough good things about Soltana and her staff from Velvet Alley Events. Our wedding was up in San Miguel, California so Soltana and I only spoke on the phone and via email leading up to our wedding weekend. During this process, she was invaluable to the planning of our wedding, and offered great insight and suggestions for things I hadn't thought of. There were a few times I emailed Soltana in the middle of the night with a slight panic over a detail I had forgot, and it was always so comforting to receive a detailed response within the next day. As soon as I met Soltana in person during our rehearsal dinner I knew we were in great hands! My stress of the weekend instantly melted away and I could enjoy being the bride. Her and her staff were so organized and they had controlled coordinating with all our other vendors the weeks before the wedding (including fielding all vendor questions so help free up my time). The day of the wedding was flawless and I could not have asked for anything more from Soltana and her team. I would highly recommend them for your wedding (or other event) and they will be the first company I contact for any future event needs.

    Hiring Soltana and her team at Velvet Alley Events as our Day Of Coordinator made it achievable for my husband and I to have a stress-free wedding reception and enjoy our time with our friends and family. Oftentimes people tell you that you’ll be so busy the day of you’ll forget to eat, well Soltana made sure we ate, drank, and danced our way through our wedding with smiles on our faces and laughter surrounding the venue.

    She and her team kept things organized, on schedule (which she helped us coordinate about a month before the big day) and helped keep our reception enjoyable for everyone in attendance. Leading up to our wedding day Soltana was available for our questions and recommendation requests. She also kept all of our vendors on the same page before the event and during the event; she was also able to act as representative for the emergency tent that had to go up last minute – which was a phenomenal help and kept me keep sane. Her positive attitude made the day disaster free and her attentiveness to our needs really shows how much she cares about her clients.     Soltana and her team were TRULY AMAZING!!! From our initial meeting through the end of our wedding night, her and her team were there for us! Soltana not only gave helpful suggestions before our wedding, she made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the night. She was so organized while creating our detailed timeline and getting all necessary contact information from all our vendors.     First off let me say that I would recommend Soltana and her team to EVERYONE needing any kind of day of coordinating services. Her prices were extremely reasonable compared to other coordinators. I cannot imagine what we would have done without Soltana! Soltana was always available by text call or email at any time of the day for every question. She listened to every request and gave great advice for us wedding novices! The day of, I truly felt that Soltana and her team made the wedding as perfect as it turned out. They seemed to be everywhere at all times, problem solving and directing at every step. The best part about Soltana and the team I must say though was how genuinely invested and happy they all were to be apart of our wedding. They made sure everyone involved was doing what needed to be done but with a smile.

    Really great service!! Soltana brought enough assistants with her to cover every single detail of the wedding. They were all very attentive and nice to us and all the guests.     Soltana and her team are truly amazing to work with! Soltana was extremely organized and helpful with everything. She is very professional and she is definitely an expert at what she does. She has great ideas and suggestions, and she really works with you to make everything exactly the way you want it.

    We brought in our own centerpieces and a lot of our own decor, and I was a little unsure if everything would be set up how I envisioned it. I felt like I sent a very detailed email with everything that we were bringing and how we wanted it all set up, but I was still wondering if I was making a mistake by bringing in so much of our own stuff. Soltana responded to the email and wasn't phased at all with all of our requests! When we dropped everything off to her the day before the wedding, she was extremely calm and she had everything under control. It was very reassuring to see her so calm and confident about everything.

    Our wedding day could not have been more beautiful! Soltana and her team went above and beyond our requests and made everything look even more perfect than we could have imagined! We paid overtime charges to keep her and her team there until the end of the night, and it was definitely one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. We did not have to think about a single thing at the end of the night; they took care of all of the clean up, they put away everything that we brought in for the wedding, and they even helped direct everyone out of the venue to the shuttles at the end of the night. It was worth every penny and I would definitely suggest keeping her until the end of the night if you can!

    Having Soltana and her team with us on our wedding day was amazing. There is so much happening on your wedding day, so to not have to think about anything other than enjoying yourself and taking it all in is totally worth it! I would absolutely recommend hiring Soltana; you will be in very good hands!

During planning Soltana would go over things we never even considered or thought of, helping us to design the most wonderful wedding we could of hoped for.     There aren't enough great things I can say about Soltana and her team!!! From the start she went above and beyond. We got married at Hummingbird Nest Ranch and VAE was one of the coordinator referrals given to me by Hummingbird Nest. I sent emails to at least 8 coordinators and Soltana was the only one who called me and got a feel for what I was looking for. From then on, she was extremely responsive and responded to all of my questions and emails within 24 hours, if not right away. Every time I told a vendor that Soltana was my coordinator, their response was something about how much they love working with her or how great she is. Her whole team was so responsive and kind. We needed a big mirror to get ready with and her associate went to her home to get us one!!! Every detail was perfect. The wedding day was a breeze and they handled everything with such ease and care. If you hire Soltana and her team you will NOT be disappointed!!! I promise!!

    I had always heard that a great wedding coordinator is worth their weight in gold, and now I really know what that means. Soltana is absolutely the best and it was evident to me that there was nothing she hadn't thought of, prepared for, or missed. Every detail was documented, checked and rechecked and when we had a few last minute "freak outs" I got a quick "I'll handle it" from Soltana. I had my daughter's wedding dreamed up in my head, but when I walked through the venue on the day of the wedding I seriously began to cry tears of joy and awe. Soltana took all the items I brought ( but she must have snuck in some others) because the set up ended up being more magical and beautiful then I could have ever imagined!

    So the place looked great, but the actual wedding was also flawless. Thanks again to Soltana, the wedding was perfect! Last minute changes were handled with ease and every single aspect of the night went according to her great timeline. As a mother, I was relaxed, happy and truly enjoyed every single minute of the evening. I attribute most of this to Soltana!

    I don't have any other daughters, so I doubt I will do this again, but if I could make any recommendations to my friends it would be to hire an exceptional coordinator like Soltana!

    This company is a wonderful company to work with! Very professional and on top of things. We just recently had our wedding and Soltana was extremely organized and helped with any planning needed. She made phones calls to me to make sure I was running on track and getting things done (which I needed). When the big day arrived, everything was set up beautifully! Better than I could have imagined. They made sure our timeline was being met and everything was right on track. Later than evening, we were informed that our cake vendor (not referred by Velvet Alley Events) did not arrive and we were about to begin dinner. Soltana made a miracle happen by calling a local bakery and having the cake arrive just in time. We are SO thankful for her. She made sure we were stress free and assured us that we would have a cake. We are more than happy with this company and would use them a million times if we could!

    We got married at Eden Gardens and they had a package that included a day-of-coordinator with Velvet Alley Events. I am SOOO HAPPY that it was a part of the package because the Velvet Alley Events team was awesome! We had Soltana as our coordinater and we absolutely loved her! She is so sweet, kind and bubbly! We ended up spending a little more to keep Soltana and her team with us till the end of our wedding and to clean up and help pack up the cars. It was money well spent and so worth it! It gave us and our family the time to relax and enjoy our wedding. I made a ton of DIY stuff for our wedding and Soltana and the team were so accommodating to everything and were so helpful with setting everything up and making the day run smoothly.

    Sultana, Candice, and the team at Velvet Alley Events are the best. I originally had booked another wedding venue that was very DIY, and had hired a wedding coordinator (that I adored); however, after learning that my original venue was for sale, I found our new wedding venue, Eden Gardens. Eden's package included a day-of-coordinator, and after much thought, and hesitation I canceled my contract with my original coordinator (as it wasn't needed at Eden-they do everything!). It was a hard decision. Needless to say, Soltana and the team were fantastic! At my final meeting with them, they put all my fears to rest. I basically just told them, do whatever you feel is best... a couple of weeks before my wedding, so was just so ready for it to be over! I gave them my list of items, wants, and desires, and told them it was in their hands. I had my moment of "I am letting go". At this point, I had also not decided on my wedding menu, and they geared me towards delicious menu selections that our wedding guests can't stop talking about. They ran our rehearsal seamlessly, and the wedding day was perfect! Everything turned out even better than I ever could have imagined in my wildest dreams.

    The wedding package with Eden, included the day-of planner staying up until the reception. I was tight on money, and really did not want to pay more for someone to stay and help through the wedding reception, and clean up. Surely, all my friends and family would help, right? Lol, well, if you are planning on people helping, don't... after a long-day, booze, and a long drive home, people scatter at the end of the night. Having them stay throughout the reception was one of the best decisions I made, and money very well spent! Who wants to box up candles and DIY decor after a magical night, while wearing a ball-gown? Not me! Anyways, thank you Velvet Alley for a magical wedding.

    This vendor provided Day of Coordination for our Wedding. The wedding was held at Eden Gardens in Moorpark, CA. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and Velvet Valley Events worked closely with the venue and caterer to create our perfect dream wedding. Sultana, the owner, and Amanda, one of her assistants, were a sincere pleasure to work with! They are very personable, professional and provided great suggestions. They really know what they are doing and we had complete trust is them. They were great about communicating with us frequently and accommodating our requests. The wedding day went off without one single hitch. Thanks to Velvet Alley Events, we were able to sit back and enjoy our wedding day because they tended to every single detail. Even prior to the wedding when things tends to get most stressful for the bride and groom, Velvet Alley Events ensured that all vendors were in sync and aware of necessary details. I highly recommend this vendor! They are extremely well organized and really help keep you organized. The best part is that their prices are very reasonable give the high quality of service you receive. We couldn't be happier with the results!     We all know that when it comes to planning for the big day there are a million things and details that are required to execute the perfect day. VAE was with us every step of the way, from the planning stages, to working with our vendors, and most especially, executing our day-of flawlessly. Soltana got to know us from the Day One and knew exactly what our vision was for the wedding. But she also captured our personalities in every aspect of our wedding... from the type of music we and our guests wanted, to the decor and table presentation, to the overall feel.     PROFESSIONAL & CAPABLE PEOPLE MAKE THINGS LOOK EASY, WE NEVER HEARD "I CANNOT GET TO IT" OR "I'M HELPING SOMEONE ELSE" YET WE KNOW SHE HAS MANY MANY EVENTS. AN EXAMPLE OF A BAD THING SHE MANAGED WAS WHEN A GUEST MISTOOK THE WEDDING CAKE AS PART OF THE CANDY DISPLAY AND TOOK A PIECE, BEFORE THE CAKE CUTTING. SHE JUST LOOKED AT ME AND SAID, "WE CAN DEAL WITH THIS AND TURNED THE CAKE AROUND SAYING "THEY WILL FIX IN THE PHOTOS, LET MOVE ON" AND WHAT HAPPENED, WE TURNED THE CAKE AROUND AND IT WAS NO BIG DEAL. "LEADERSHIP" WAY TO SOLTANA....

    AFTER ALL SHE DID AND THE WAY SHE COORDINATED THE VENDORS, I WOULD NEVER PLAN AN EVENT WITHOUT HER.

    Soltana and her team did and amazing job for our wedding. From helping us find the best vendors, setting up appointments and then making sure everything went perfect the day of. Having complete peace of mind knowing that the little details that were important to us were being taken care of was worth every penny spent. They really listened to our vision, gave great advice, and really made the planning process stress free and seamless. Our family and friends were able to enjoy the day with us instead of worrying about name cards and decorations on the day of. All of the ladies are so sweet and very easy to work with, even waiting with me, checking hair and makeup moments before walking down the aisle. Choosing Velvet Alley Events was the best decision we made, thank you ladies for making it the perfect wedding day!

    If you are not sure whether to hire a wedding planner, stop thinking about and just do it. Bite the bullet. The best money spent on my wedding was hiring Soltana for month of wedding coordination. Things WILL go wrong on your wedding day. And having a wedding planner there to take care of it is the way to keep your day perfect. I had a bridesmaid not show up for the wedding, and Soltana handled it. I still had the perfect wedding day. Velvet Alley coordinators are very experienced and know how to problem solve. Soltana was perfect for us because she's very down to earth. So happy we made the choice to book Velvet Alley. Seriously, best decision for our wedding.

    We recently got married and I have to say Soltana and her team made it HAPPEN. Soltana is an effective communicator. She stays on top of you until she gets your timeline and all its components complete. She is so responsive, via text, e-mail and telephone. She is on your side and does everything to ensure your wedding vision comes to life. She is very flexible in her meeting hours and does everything in her power to make it easier on the bride and groom. Jessica is AWESOME. She is very helpful and so respectful. She made sure I was happy and taken care of on my special day. She set up the venue so beautifully. We didn't have to worry about a single thing on our special day. It was about us and our guests. We knew we were in good hands with Soltana and her amazing team. It was so sweet of Jessica, she came to grab me from the bridal suite just so we can see the reception area before guests were seated. That was so special to me because we got to see it all right before the guests walked in. It was a special moment and we are so happy Jessica suggested it.     Velvet Alley Events provided day-of coordination services for our August 2015 wedding at Walnut Grove. Soltana and her team were extremely thorough and hardworking.

    We met with Soltana one month before our wedding to discuss the details of our event, and based on our discussion and forms, she completed a detailed wedding day itinerary that she circulated to our vendors. On the morning before our wedding, Soltana met with us at the venue, where she walked our wedding party and families through the rehearsal and answered our last minute questions.

    On our wedding day, Soltana and her assistants were already at the venue by the time we arrived for photos, and we were really impressed by all they had already accomplished. Before our guests arrived, they set up our guest book, seating cards, programs, favors, lawn games, "sofreh" items (for Persian ceremony), votives, cake stands and plates for the dessert table, and a whole bunch of other decorative items. At the end of the night, they packed everything back up in the vans we rented (at Soltana's very wise recommendation). We were so appreciative of all of the effort and hard work that Velvet Alley Events put into making our day so special!

    How much do I love Soltana? I LOVE Soltana. There are no words that could do enough justice in expressing how much I truly appreciate and respect Soltana and her team, and how they delivered for me both on my wedding day and leading up to it. About halfway through my wedding planning process, I started to feel a bit overwhelmed, really needing someone to help me cross all my T's and dot my I's, so to speak. My florist referred me to Soltana at Velvet Alley Events and, quite honestly, it was love at first email! Soltana is, to put it simply, on top of her s**t 24/7, and was there for me for every single frantic email and call, be it early in the morning or late at night. Like me, her approach to business is both calming and assertive; she was kind and fun to work with, but I always felt I was in the best hands and knew she'd take care of the job. She pays impeccable attention to detail, and really makes you feel like everything that is important to you is just as important to her. Not only was my wedding more beautiful than I could have possibly imagined, but she ran the show from start of the rehearsal on Friday, to finish at midnight on Saturday with the utmost professionalism, all the while maintaining the sweet, gregarious personality that drew me to her in the first place. Not to mention, my husband said to me on the way home, "Hiring her was the best thing we did - she NAILED it." And he is absolutely right. If there were 10 stars to give, Soltana and team would have them. I cannot say enough good things!!!

    Soltana and the rest of the team were extremely helpful during the whole process and planning for my husband and I's big day! We could not have done it without them. They were attentive to our every need, very well organized, and overall amazing! Our wedding was extravagant and so beautiful. With a big family like ours I didn't think it was possible to handle it all, but Velvet Alley Events knew exactly what they were doing. I couldn't have chosen a better coordinator to plan the best day of our life.

    Absolutely amazing to have worked with Velvet Alley Events! Soltana is a master event planner! My husband & I met w/ her a few times to go over all the details. She is HIGHLY detailed, organized, & has tons of experience. She gave us all kinds of tips. And when I felt stuck w/ something she made me feel at ease (I can be technical & emotional). We knew we were in good hands! On the week of the wedding Soltana provided a final timeline & when I reached out to her about follow up w/ the vendors it had been done already! Again, she gave me entire peace of mind - she was awesome!! She was included w/ our venue but we hired her for a couple more hours so we wouldn't have to worry about a thing & enjoy our special occasion to the fullest & we did. Candace was our actual day of coordinator & she was at our last meeting with Soltana so we knew exactly who we were going to be working with. She was fantastic directing our rehearsal & communicated constantly on all things on our big day! Such a pleasure :)
    With the exception of a couple of hiccups & delay (florist), our day was perfect! Immensely wonderful experience. SOOO HAPPY & grateful we got to work with them! THANK YOU SO MUCH VELVET ALLEY EVENTS! Blessings to you!!!!

    My husband and I are SO happy we had the pleasure to work with Velvet Alley Events! Soltana was great from our first meeting to the minute I left my venue the night of our wedding. She helped me figure out details along the way and was truly there to listen if I needed help. My guests even commented on how great Soltana was! She helped make our wedding absolutely perfect!!!

    Soltana and her team were amazing on my wedding day! I didn't have to worry about anything as she took care of every detail that needed to be done. I was able to enjoy my day without worries.     without the help of Soltana and Jessica, our wedding would not have been the same. We had to deal with making a hard decision of moving our ceremony inside due to rain, Jessica jump to action and made it all work along with the help of our florist. She made the whole event run smooth and just made it more enjoyable for us and all of our guest. We have nothing but good things to say about the service and would only recommend them, just absolutely perfect.

    What can I say! 5 stars isn't even enough! Soltana was such a blessing to us and we couldn't be more pleased with her services! She made everything about our wedding planning experience that much more enjoyable and most of all provided my husband and I with peace of mind. She got us out of sticky situations and always had a solution to everything and anything. Soltana comes highly recommended and I feel so fortunate to have had her guide us through our special day. I know its only a matter of time before she blows us huge and we will be ale to say we had her !! If youre looking for someone you can count on at anytime youve found the right person. Always just an email or text message away. Soltana maintains a level of professionalism while still making you feel comfortable as if youre talking to a friend. Do yourself a favor and find room for her in your budget, trust me it'll be the best money youll invest in your wedding day or any event for that matter.

    Soltana and her team at Velvet Alley Events are absolutely amazing! After deciding on a small backyard wedding, we knew that we needed to hire someone to help us. After meeting with another coordinator that I was not happy with, I met with Soltana and knew she was the one! Soltana is friendly, calm, organized and a great listener. She got my vision and wasn’t trying to change it like the other coordinator. She is great at returning phone calls promptly and responding to emails. Soltana offered us great tips and vendors to help us stay within our budget. Soltana knows what she is doing and is constantly thinking ahead. For example, on my wedding day I was concerned about my place cards staying in place due to a slight breeze. When I went out to express my concern to her she told me not to worry and that they had already came up with a plan. She went back to her office, got some purple ribbon and beautiful broaches to tack them down to the table, and it looked great! It was SO nice not to have to sweat the small stuff and know that she had everything under control. Our wedding was perfect! Soltana and her assistant were there hours prior making sure everything was set up exactly how we wanted it and they didn’t leave until everything was put away. I know that we couldn’t have done it without her and I would recommend her to anyone!

    We had our wedding at Eden Gardens in June 2015. We worked with Soltana and her team for the event planning. She asked all the right questions to prepare for the event and was able to offer guidance/recommendations when we were lost. On the big day, Jessica and Jenee helped everything run seamlessly! We got numerous compliments how smoothly everything ran. Even our photographers commented that they had never seen a wedding run so smoothly. Thank you for a wonderful day!

    Soltana was absolutely fantastic. Very reasonably priced and was there for me for a whole year prior to my wedding helping with vendor recommendations and other suggestions. Easy to get in contact with, friendly and reliable. My wedding went very smoothly ( at least to my knowledge ) and I have nothing but positive things to say about Soltana and Veltvet Alley .     Professional, organized, and extremely diligent on keeping all the vendors on time. Planned my entire wedding from begging to end. Was able to create and elegant wedding with a food truck. I was completely blown away with the creativity and attention to the smallest details that I would have never thought of. The best wedding coordinator ever!!
