Working with Velada Events was truly one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning journey. From the very first hourly brainstorming session, Geraldine made us feel heard, understood, and completely supported. Each meeting was not only productive, but also inspiring — they helped us bring our ideas to life while offering thoughtful suggestions we never would have considered on our own. We left every call feeling more confident, more organized, and even more excited for our big day.
Our wedding on February 21, 2025 was everything we dreamed of and more, and we truly believe the care and attention given to us during those hourly sessions played a huge role in that. Thank you Velada Events for helping us plan a celebration that felt perfectly us.

We truly cannot thank Geraldine, Lead Event Planner and Paula, Lead Associate at Velada Events enough for the incredible job they did in making our big day absolutely perfect! From the very beginning of the planning process, Geraldine was a lifesaver-giving us clear deadlines and helpful reminders that kept us organized and on track every step of the way.
Her punctuality and responsiveness were remarkable. No matter how many questions we had (and there were a lot!), she always replied quickly and thoroughly, making us feel supported and heard throughout the entire journey. Geraldine was proactive and communicative, always one step ahead and anticipating our needs before we even realized them.
We especially appreciated Geraldine’s flexibility and open-mindedness in working with our non-traditional wedding concept. With three different venues-a church, a restaurant, and a rooftop bar-not to mention the hotel where we got ready and the location for our pre-wedding photos, our vision was anything but simple. Geraldine accepted the challenge wholeheartedly and helped us execute our vision beautifully, ensuring that every transition was seamless and every detail was perfectly coordinated.
She also handled every detail with such care, especially when it came to creating rain plans and coordinating with our other vendors. She was considerate of everyone’s timelines, ensuring that everything and everyone was where they needed to be.
On the wedding day itself, Geraldine ensured everything ran seamlessly, coordinating with such grace and professionalism that the entire celebration felt effortless and perfectly executed.
We truly cannot imagine our wedding being as smooth, stress-free, and fun without her! Geraldine is an absolute gem, and we feel so lucky to have had her by our side. I booked Velada for month-of coordinating and I consider it one of my best decisions when planning my wedding. Geraldine made my day seamless and relaxing, she took care of all the little details behind the scenes so I was able to simply enjoy my day and be present. Couldn’t recommend Velada enough. -

Geraldine was absolutely AMAZING! I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She was a true lifesaver, and I felt completely cared for throughout my entire wedding season. Her communication during both the planning process and the day-of coordination was exceptional—professional, prompt, and incredibly thorough.

Geraldine is one of the most talented, organized, and dedicated individuals I have ever met. There are not enough words to explain how amazing Geraldine and her team are, but all I can truly say is that as the bride, I was not anticipating being so relaxed on my wedding day. Geraldine and her team took care of everything and ensured that the event not only looked the way we wanted it to but also ran the way we discussed. Multiple guests expressed how impressed they were with her work ethic and ability to stay on top of all the things, but especially the smallest details.
