Beth is AMAZING at what she does. We could not have survived our wedding without her. She is confident, organized and very knowledgeable. She also brought a lot of fun energy! She helped us address a lot of little details we never considered. When we needed guidance she helped us figure out what we want. She directed us to other incredible vendors like our photographer. As it got close to the wedding she was always available and quick to respond. She even added an extra meeting when I was stressed and felt like I needed to make sure we were on the right path with getting things done. When I started to panic about decor she sent me photos and even doodles to help me envision it which was not only helpful but made me laugh. Her and her team made our day so amazing and memorable. I can't say enough great things about her. She instilled so much confidence that we just knew if anything happened she would take care of it. We had absolute faith and trust in her and she handled everything perfectly. She took so much stress off of us. The coordination was very reasonably priced and she helped with all the set up and break down which I found that to be not included with a lot of other places- worth every penny. After our wedding everything was packaged up right by the door so we just packed the cars and left. If you're on the fence, definitely book with this company, you'll be so glad you did!!!! -

I will preface this by saying that I am not very good at event planning/emails/phone calls and was somewhat dreading wedding planning. I hired Utano Events/Beth for my day of coordinator (and later added on serving staff) at the strong recommendation from my venue. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that my wedding would not have happened without Beth! She caught so many things that I had missed during the planning process. She walked me through rental order estimates, contacted and verified details with all vendors so I didn't have to, made my decor ideas into reality...the list goes on. She has relationships with tons of vendors in the area, and if she didn't work with them before they were sure to let me know how much they enjoyed having her coordinate the wedding. If you are planning a wedding, I would highly recommend hiring Utano Events, and if you are using a more "DIY" venue that doesn't offer many services on site I would VERY highly recommend hiring them!! Worth every penny! -

I seriously don’t even know where to begin. Booking Beth and Utano Event & Wedding Planning was easily one of the best decisions we made — truly worth every penny (honestly, I would’ve paid double!). I booked day-of coordination, officiant services, and an extra month of planning support, and Beth delivered on all fronts. Even while navigating personal matters this past year, she was incredibly responsive and supportive — answering all my chaotic emails with patience and care. On the big day, she was absolutely instrumental in making sure everything ran smoothly. Thanks to her, I was able to be fully present and actually enjoy the day. I can’t recommend Beth and Utano Event & Wedding Planning enough! -

We hired Beth Utano as our wedding officiant at The Manor House. From start to finish, Beth's communication and professionalism was outstanding. She was very helpful in building a ceremony script that felt right and personalized to us, was super personable, and easy to work with. She went above and beyond, arriving early to our ceremony, checked in on us, coordinated with our other vendors, and made sure everything was in check. She spoke so comfortably during our ceremony and helped us with our nerves. She was perfect! We would recommend Beth's services to anyone! -

I decided to hire a wedding planner as soon as we got engaged. Beth was one of the many we looked at and recognized the value right away. She helped us every step of the way and brought my vision to life with very little effort from us. The month before coordination and the day of, she blew me away with her attention to detail and ability to keep me calm while making sure everything was completed. She worked closely with every single vendor, making sure no stress was on us. She also decorated the entire venue with only color and flower type from me. If there was a hiccup, she would smooth it over. If I wanted something changed, she never showed any irritation. Her team on the day was amazing, including Darin who was our officiant. He even teared up during the ceremony! Don't hesitate to hire Beth and her team, they will not disappoint. -

I wasn't really sure what to expect when I started planning a largely DIY event, so I booked a consultation with Beth from Utano Events. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up working with Elle on my event and she was wonderful! Elle was very organized, detailed, and professional while also being friendly and easy to talk to. I had an idea of what I wanted, but wasn't sure how to get there and she took it to the next level. When I walked into the decorated space I was blown away by what she did. Beth also bartended my event and everyone loved her. It was a great experience working with Utano Events! -

At first I was hesitant about the idea of using a wedding planner because honestly, I felt like my (now) wife and I were well organized, in sync, and diligent. However, while all those traits served us well in the lead up to our big day, nothing beat Beth and Elle’s experience, wisdom, kindness, and excitement to be our support through the whole process.
Within 45 seconds of talking to the Beth & Elle, I understood that they were worth EVERY penny. Here are some reasons why you need to just go with this stellar team for your big event:
They are prompt about their duties and deadlines. Never once did we have to reach out about reminders, if anything we were the ones getting a heads up about the contact they had made with other vendors in anticipation for the wedding day.
Their experience is palpable. Just spend a few minutes talking to Beth and she’ll make sure you are heading to the right place, with the right outfit, and a snack in your hand. She has got all kinds of insight on things that work and things that don’t. She’ll also make sure any kind of unique plans you have will be executed incredibly well, e.g., we incorporated a Chinese tea ceremony into our actual main ceremony (this is normally done the day before) and Beth created a smooth transition process and gave all the bridal party different roles in the action—it went beautifully!
Their kindness is pervasive. My wife and I loved working with Beth and Elle because they cared. It showed through all of their actions and hard work. Because of this care, it made us feel comfortable going to them for any of our needs or questions. Plus, they got on the dance floor with us a little and that’s something we’ll always remember too! Talk about doing it all!

Beth was amazing for many reasons, but the biggest is that she made our entire experience completely stress free. Every phone call leading into our big day was efficient and she truly catered to our needs. On our wedding day, it was raining on and off and we had planned for an outdoor wedding. We had a good window to get married, but then it started drizzling again! I felt so bad for our guests out in the rain and almost pulled everyone in. But Beth came prepared with enough umbrellas for 130 guests and we got married outside anyway and it was perfect! I had no idea Beth was so prepared but she thought of everything and made sure every detail was completely perfect! When my sister gets married, she is planning on using Beth as well! I can't recommend her enough! Our whole day was completely stress free thanks to Beth and we truly had time to take in our wedding. -

Service with a smile
To say I was satisfied with the service provided from Beth is an understatement. She was everything I needed for our special day and more.
At my first meeting with her, she helped to remind me that it was OK to put my wants first and that nothing about our wanting a Marvel themed wedding was silly. She reminded and suggested things to me that turned out fantastic on the day of. Correspondence from her never took long (sometimes it was seconds after I sent an email).
On day of, I never saw her with anything else but a smile and her voicing that it would all be ok despite all my anxiety and nerves. Truly I do not think our evening would have been what it was without her.
The only downside - now I have to figure out another event to get Beth to handle for me again! ❤️ -

Beth is a great coordinator and person. Very easy to get along with and she listens. Whenever I have a questions or needed help she is on it. She is always prepared. She carries around a that has almost anything you need at a wedding like Safety pins, band aids, and sooo much more. She coordinates with the vendors and make sure everyone is on the same page. That just makes easier on everyone. Everyone should have a wedding planner like her that gives it her all and wants you to have the best wedding ever. -

I cannot recommend Beth enough!
Stop what you are doing and hire Beth! She was the best thing that could have happened for our wedding. I hired Beth to help with 2 months of planning, day of coordination, AND she officiated our wedding. Beth is professional, supportive, detailed oriented, FUN, and totally team bride/groom. Our day went flawlessly because of Beth and her attention to detail, she asked me questions about details that I would have never thought of. We didn't have to lift a finger, just be present for our day and Beth (and Janelle) took care of the rest. My dress kept falling out of the bustle so Beth grabbed me and sewed me in and sent me right back to the dance floor, she also taught our Grandma how to do the wobble! Beth went above and beyond to assure our vision came to life and executed the day of flawlessly. She was the first one at our venue and the last one to leave. I cannot recommend Beth (and her team) enough. -

I knew I liked Beth the moment I spoke to her on the phone. When I met Beth in person at the venue for a meeting I loved her. Beth was the perfect addition for our wedding. Beth was simply the best. Looking back on our wedding, we can not imagine pulling it off without her and her assistant Anna. Beth was full of helpful suggestions and ideas that we never would have thought of. In the lead up to our wedding day, including the day before, she was always there to help in any and every way. On the day of the wedding, she was willing to help in every manner possible from setup, to emergency cleaning the bride's dress, to an emergency repair of a groomsmen's pants, she and Anna literally did everything. We hired Beth for our wedding on May 15, 2021. She was amazing! She took all of our stress away from us. She took over all communication with our venue in the month leading up to the wedding due to some issues we had with them. On the day of the wedding, she set up everything and coordinated with all vendors. Our bus broke down on the way to the hotel. She took care of the situation before we even knew about it, saving us the stress and worry. She also adjusted our timeline last minute since this pushed everything back. Furthermore, the venue took a very long time between our salads and our entrees. She moved our father/daughter and mother/son dances back a bit to fill in during that lull. She was extremely helpful! I would highly recommend her. Everything wouldn't have gone as smoothly as it did without her. -

Beth was absolutely amazing! She made our wedding day feel like a walk in the park not once but twice she was by our side. Covid ruined our fist wedding but she still made it extremely special for us, we got to do a ceremony and get officially married on our original wedding date all because of Beth! The second time around (the real thing) with a small gathering and a real ceremony she went above and beyond to make sure everything was as close to perfect as it could get. When we thought our budget was met she found people and things even cheaper so we could have everything we dreamed of! She is by far the best decision we made when it came to our big day, she was extremely easy to get along with always made the most out of bad situations, handling all the hard stuff so we could sit back completely stress free! -

Hiring Beth at Utano Event & Wedding Planning was one of the best decisions we made for our DIY wedding in upstate NY! She was very professional and easy to work with, a true planner at heart, and she had great suggestions for issues as they came up during our planning process (which was not easy during 2020!). She went out of her way several times to drive to us to talk about planning details in person, rather than over the phone, email, or Zoom. Our wedding day went so much smoother with Beth directing things in the background, and we ended up having the most amazing weekend of our lives because of her help! A great day!
Beth bent over backwards to make sure everyone was happy on my wedding day, and was always willing to respond to my late night Pinterest emails. Every time I was too indecisive she never made me feel pressured into any decision and helped me change things once I inevitably changed my mind. Beth did such a wonderful job with coordinating our wedding. Throughout the planning, she was very responsive to any questions I had leading up to the big day. She was in constant communication with us. Beth put in a lot of thoughtful details in everything that she touched, from the way she set up the venue to the timeline she laid out for us. She was very organized, which allowed us to focus more on our big day. any concerns that I had, she was able to find a solution. She made sure that we were well taken care by ensuring that my husband and I were getting our drinks in and eating which I appreciated 100%. She’s a ball of fun and everyone enjoyed her on the dance floor. If you think you don’t need a wedding planner, think again. Several family members and friends were very impressed by her. Beth is so professional, so understanding and really hears what your needs and wants are. She helped make our dream wedding turn into a reality. "We were introduced to Beth as our wedding planner at a late stage in our planning. She very quickly took over and made sure to match our needs from our previous requests. When we were planning our wedding Beth was a great help. She was quick to respond to emails or phone calls for all of my questions that would pop into our heads throughout the planning process. When we would sit down with her she had folders and notebooks ready to use to take notes on requests or questions we had. She was very organized which helped make our day run smoothly. She made sure on the day of the wedding to be ready for our arrival and made sure everything was perfect! She was always making sure we had food to eat and had a drink in our hand (water too!). When it came time for introductions Beth had a plan of how to make it run smoothly and that it didn't take too long. After our dances and speeches dinner began. Beth made sure that when we were finished with our meal that we got up and moved around the room to talk to our guests. She helped time it so that we would hit every table before the DJ started the dancing music. And that is exactly what happened! Once the "formal" things were done she stepped back and was invisible until we needed her. At the end of the night she had all of our decorations, signs, and gifts packaged up and helped us carry them into cars. Beth has such a great personality and it was a pleasure to have her as our wedding planner. She really helped to make our day perfect!" -
