Twenty Mile House was literally THE PERFECT venue to get married at for all mountain and nature lovers! The staff were all incredibly warm, friendly, and professional as they helped us execute a wedding beyond our wildest dreams. The ceremony site is nestled in the forest besides a trickling stream – it felt like we were in a woodland fairytale! All our guests instantly fell in love with the charm and natural beauty of Twenty Mile House, and many told us our wedding was by far the best they've ever been to. Highly recommend all the preferred vendors as well- Pangea Catering (food was BOMB!), Grandma Janes Place (desserts were so delicious and elegant), flowers were perfect...you cannot go wrong with any of the vendors, but you're also free to find any of your own favorites. All the cabins on site allow for 50+ of your favorite people to stay on the property, and each cabin has a unique and cozy vibe...the party house fits 15+ and is right next to the reception area to keep the party going through all hours of the night (no noice ordinance either since the property is 300 acres of solitude in the Sierras :) We love going to Tahoe but the nearby town of Greagle is a hidden gem with cute shops and tasty treats that we will return to many more times. We left Twenty Mile House feeling like family and hope to return to this forest fairyland someday to renew our vows and keep the party going for years to come :) -

An absolute amazing place to get married… staff are phenomenal, location is breathtaking and accommodations are next level!! Worth every penny we spent!!! Highly recommend if you are looking for a beautiful serene place to have an amazing wedding!! -

Just book it!!
Twenty-mile house was a dream to work with. The venue itself is beautiful, and if it tells you anything we saw it first in the snow/rain and still immediately knew it was the space for us. The vendors they partner with are top notch and they made our experience unforgettable. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. If you’re considering this venue to build a wedding week/weekend and not just a wedding day, you’ve found the place! We can’t recommend them highly enough!! Our friends and family will be talking about our wedding for years to come. Thank you Twenty Mile House!! -

From the very start of the planning process, this venue/ team exceeded every single expectation we had. Using Aisle Planner made organizing all the details so easy, and the communication with the team was exceptional - every question (big or small) was met with openness, patience, and a genuine desire to make our vision come to life.
The venue itself was exactly what I hoped for… and somehow so much more. The staff was incredible - professional, and always one step ahead. I never had to worry about a thing because they truly had everything covered, which allowed me (and my family!) to fully enjoy the entire experience. That level of trust made our few days there absolutely magical.
We hosted a river float, a welcome party, and our wedding day at the venue, and each event was seamless and unforgettable. Our guests haven’t stopped telling us how wonderful everything was, and we couldn’t agree more. Choosing TMH was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for not just a gorgeous location, but a team that will make you feel completely taken care of from start to finish. -

Our wedding at the Twenty Mile House was perfect! Ashliegh (our coordinator) was so wonderful to work with and made the whole planning process easy. The venue staff were kind, timely, and professional. The catering was delicious, and the florals were stunning. The grounds and cabins were immaculate and well-kept. All of our guests were raving about the venue, saying it was the most beautiful venue they had ever been to. We also loved the surrounding area and will be visiting again for our anniversary trips! -

We had our wedding at the Twenty Mile House and cannot recommend it enough. From start to finish, the experience was seamless — their team operates with incredible attention to detail, proactive communication, and complete transparency. Every question was answered before we even had to ask.
The on-site accommodations were comfortable and gave our guests a cozy, elevated experience in the heart of nature. The ceremony sites? Absolutely breathtaking — it’s hard to describe how magical it feels until you’re standing there.
One of the biggest advantages of working with Twenty Mile House is their curated list of all-inclusive vendors. From catering to photography to floral, every partner they recommended was top-notch. It took so much of the stress and guesswork out of planning, which made the whole experience that much more enjoyable.

Getting married at the Twenty Mile House was truly one of the best decisions we made. From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely magical. The setting is beyond breathtaking—tall trees, fresh mountain air, and that perfect mix of rustic charm and elegance. It felt like something out of a dream.
But what made it all truly exceptional was the team—especially Rachel. Rachel is a total rockstar. She is kind, calm, incredibly organized, and genuinely cares. She anticipated every need, answered every question, and made us feel so supported throughout the entire process. Her presence allowed us to actually enjoy our wedding day without stress, and we’ll be forever grateful for that.
Our guests are still raving about the venue and the energy of the whole weekend. Twenty Mile House is not just a venue—it’s an experience, a retreat, and a memory-maker in every sense of the word.

I cannot say enough good things about the Twenty Mile House! I had the most amazing time on the property, a perfect wedding with outstanding staff that made me, my new husband, and all my guests feel special and at ease all weekend long. I keep getting the most incredible feedback from family and friends about how it was the most enjoyable, warm, elegant yet comfortable weddings they had ever been to that "just flowed."
The truth is I cannot take credit for any of it. Everything flows seamlessly when you have fantastic and kind bar tenders keeping the party going (Devin & Jasper), outstanding vendors like Holly and her team at Pangaea and Kim and her team at Grandma Jane's Place (guests wouldn't stop talking about the food and how they normally never like food at weddings), Sonia at Gray's Flower Garden who rocked the beautiful bouquets and lined the aisle with loose white petals and baby's breath, a DJ who can "read the room" flawlessly, keeping the energy and tempo just right at all times- shout out to Will Perkins at 530 Entertainment- Kiana Bohm, Heart Root Yoga, helping my bridesmaids and I slow down and set our intentions for the day with a serene flow the morning of the wedding that recalibrated our getting ready rhythm, and incredibly skilled, professional and FUN friends behind the cameras: Rachelle Elliott (Composing Reality, photographer with TMH) and Jared Wortley (videography) who were with me pretty much all day, helping me stay present and ensuring all the magic was captured... we bonded over Holly's ridiculous meatballs and artichoke chip hors d'oeuvres half way through our couples sunset photos and had a blast working together!
Each one of these integral players are fantastic on their own, but for an event like this, to pulled off at such an elevated level of artistry where everything was so well integrated and coordinated - down to every little detail like having the groom's and my favorite drink ready for us post ceremony, bringing us goodies to eat and drink when she noticed us starting to fade during a long family photo sesh, and I'm sure 100 other things I didn't even notice because I was too busy floating and enjoying my wedding (something I hear is not common as a host), could not have happened without being led by the team lead and head wedding coordinator, Chief Amazing Officer: Rachel Mann. Rachel was SO great to work with. She's very kind, extremely responsive, adaptable, intelligent and overall an incredible leader whose only concern is making the bride and groom happy. She really spoiled us.
Writing this isn't as fun as I thought it would be because I don't think I'm conveying what I experienced well enough. It was better than words can describe (so please reference the large amount of attached photos lol). Everything from how cute the accommodations were, which had everything we needed like an ironing board and dress steamer, to early morning peaceful walks throughout the property with a cup of coffee and my honey with our two service dogs that of course LOVED the location- and the mini beach down by the beautiful river that flows through the property- to just being greeted by smiles from all staff members. It was an incredible atmosphere overall the whole time and I wish I could go back and relive it all!
We will forever be grateful to Rachel and everyone else that at the Twenty Mile House, and others (shout out to Daria DiBitonto who made my bridesmaids and I feel gorgeous and Whitney Whiting who did magic with my hair in record time), who all made this weekend an absolute dream for Jake and I.
I cannot recommend the Twenty Mile House and each vendor I mentioned enough. Best decision we made, other than tying the knot itself! -

Hard to describe every way that Twenty Mile House is great: we fell in love with the gorgeous alpine venue setting first, but the level of service and convenience of the staff and in-house vendors sealed the deal. I didn't appreciate the peace of mind of using the in-house vendors until two days before the wedding when we arrived onsite. I was never worried or nervous about anything, all the details, timeline, etc. were taken care of and ready. The wedding was perfect and stress-free. The food was amazing and our guests all complimented us on the beautiful music, lights, and decor. We originally found Twenty Mile House because our neighbors got married there and we were looking for venues in that area, but we are lucky and glad we found them! Rachel and her staff are worth every penny. -

We had the most incredible experience working with the team at Twenty Mile House! They provide nearly all the vendors for our wedding weekend(photography, coordinator, catering, cake/dessert, DJ, florist, bartenders/service staff, etc.) which made planning streamlined and far less stressful. We loved the option of having the rehearsal dinner and lodging on site the night prior which allowed us to fully settle into the weekend. The venue itself is absolutely MAGICAL! From the historic buildings, sweeping trees, natural creek, and train tracks nearby, guests could not stop commenting on how gorgeous it all was. We are so grateful we found and opted to go with TMH for our wedding!!! -

Everything about our wedding was dream come true. We had 3 kids when we had a wedding. (2 years old twin and a 2 month old) And Twenty Mile House made everything so easy for us, accommodating, understanding.
Since everything is included in the price, it was nice that we did not had to find our own vendor like DJ, Florist, Photographer etc and we did not need to negotiate the price with each vendor as well.
Day of the wedding, staff member was so nice. Our check in time was 4pm but we got to the venue early since we had toddler and staff member kindly let our kids play at the river and let us check in earlier.
Not only accommodating but they also made sure that my vision for the wedding came to reality. We were SO happy with our photo, music, cater (Which saved some left over food for us so that we can eat them after the event ), flowers. -

The Perfect Venue for a Perfect Day
My now wife and I first toured Twenty Mile House in August of 2022, and right away, we knew that the venue, and the people that ran it, were special. Flash forward to our wedding day at Twenty Mile House in September 2023, where we looked back and realized it was truly the best choice we could have ever made!
The wonderful staff of Twenty Mile made everything so easy and seamless, which are frequently not the words that come to mind while you are planning a wedding! They have a bunch of go-to vendors that they work with on a regular basis, who are all extremely talented, professional, and easy to work with! The team really allows you to control as much of the planning process as you want, and are great at adjusting for any accomodations that you or your party needs, allowing for a unique and individualized experience. 🙂 The staff also went above and beyond to make sure that we, and all of our guests, had the night of our lives. We are so glad to be able to look back and relive our perfect day at such an amazing and beautiful venue. ♥️

Where to even begin?? We got married at Twenty Mile House in May, and it was a dream every step of the way. The venue itself is incredible - its natural beauty, its quaint and romantic vibe, but also the great work that the staff does to keep it maintained, clean, and orderly. So many guests asked us how we found such a gorgeous venue!
TMH’s all-inclusive nature made things so, so easy as well. We really enjoyed wedding planning, which we attribute entirely to their seamless setup. And every TMH vendor was amazing individually:
Sonia (florist): Our florals were so beautiful, which is 100% on Sonia! We met with her over the phone and told her we didn’t know anything about flowers, so we didn’t have any direction to give her besides a high-level color scheme, and just trusted her to work her magic. And she did!
Will (DJ): Our guests loved the dance floor playlist! We love to dance, so we planned things out to have as much dancing as possible. Will kept everyone moving for FOUR HOURS, and we all had a blast!
Kim (desserts): The desserts were lovely, and Kim even whipped up a vegan cutting cake to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Her stuff is just as delicious as it is gorgeous!
Holly (catering): Holly was such an amazing thought partner as we planned out our menu. We were not her easiest customers because one of us is vegan, the other is vegetarian, and we wanted to serve an all-vegetarian menu. Holly wasn’t intimidated in the slightest and helped us plan fully veggie menus for the rehearsal dinner, hors d’oeuvres, and reception dinner. The food was wonderful all around, and she was even able to accommodate additional (and unusual) dietary restrictions among our guests. She and her staff are excellent!
Rachelle (photography): Rachelle is stellar and made us feel so comfortable all day long. Your photographer is with you for the most intimate moments, so you really want someone who has the right attitude/vibe/presence. That’s Rachelle all over! She is so warm and easy to get along with. And her photos are WONDERFUL!
Staff: We had such positive experiences with every TMH staff member we worked with, from the grounds crew, to the housekeeping staff, to the bartenders. Absolutely everyone was friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make things convenient for us. They have a great team!
Rachel (Director of Events): We talked to Rachel a lot when we were initially booking TMH and then later for the more business side of things. She is fantastic and really knows her stuff. We walked out of our first meeting with Rachel already positive that we’d be booking TMH.
Penie (Wedding Coordinator): We CANNOT say enough wonderful things about Penie. Having Penie as our wedding coordinator was such a gift. She is incredibly organized and on top of things, and she kept us on track the entire planning process. When we showed up onsite the day before our wedding, we were able to completely hand the reins over to her, take a big sigh of relief, and focus on enjoying the weekend, because we were 100% confident that Penie was in control, knew our vision, and was going to execute. And she did!! We feel so lucky to have gotten to work with her!
Overall, TMH was an incredible place to get married. We would recommend it to anyone who dreams of getting married in the forest, with soft light filtering through the trees, as a babbling stream flows nearby. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone at TMH!Twenty Mile House's reply:

We got married here July 26, 2023 and have nothing but positive things to say about this place. TMH exceeded all of our expectations and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering getting married here!
As our first impression of TMH, Rachel can take most of the credit for our decision. Her virtual tour with us was outstanding, and could not even compare to any of the others we spoke to. And that is specifically speaking to her skills. She really took the time to give us a full “experience” of the property, answering all of our questions, initially and along the way, so that we really got a good and complete picture, even without seeing the venue in person. She always made herself available and was responsive to our every need, as we made our decision. Her upfront and honest answers helped us to work within the timeline we had, make informed decisions, and ultimately make TMH a reality for us.
Penie, the coordinator, far exceeded everything we could have hoped for, and then some. We attribute so much of our amazing experience at TMH to her and her efforts, from the very beginning all the way through the end. She worked with us to achieve our very unique vision, including all kinds of surprises, and executed it flawlessly. It was clear that creating our vision really mattered to her. She knew all of our surprises so well that she even took ownership of them on the day of, in order to help alleviate our stress, even though they were not her responsibility to take on. Throughout the planning process, she was very responsive and organized. We know she had many other couples but we always felt like we were the only one she was working with. Her personality also made communication and planning with her a joy, instead of stressful. Throughout our stay, but more specifically on the wedding day, we never had to worry about a thing as we knew she had our backs. We knew we could rely on her, and trusted her. We left many planning and detail decisions up to her, as we trusted her judgement and expertise, and we were not disappointed. She did an excellent job with EVERY little detail of our day! After being involved with quite a few weddings, it is easy to see how fortunate we were to have Penie. She is a stellar asset to TMH, and we will forever be grateful to her.
The vendors that are included in the package worked very well together, and it was very apparent that they knew TMH well. It seemed like they were all TMH staff, and that made a huge difference in the way they worked and the ease of the day.
All accommodations were clean, stocked, and ready to go when we arrived. Even unexpected things were stocked, such as coffee, hair dryers, beach towels, Qtips, makeup remover, etc. If any of our guests needed anything (such as extra coffee), the staff at the General Store were happy to help. Sam and Susie stood out as TMH staff that helped us and our guests with anything that we needed throughout our entire stay. Special shoutout to Sam for agreeing to be our “fake officiant” and pulling it off, with no suspicion from any guests! Our guests appreciated the character of the accommodations, as they were all very special, unique, and carried their own charm. Creekside was by far our favorite, and we enjoyed all of its special touches: hot tub, breakfast patio, nice shower, both bedrooms, etc.
We had multiple people tell us this was the best wedding they have ever been to, and we know that this reflected largely on TMH and its staff. All of the TMH staff on the wedding day worked together to ensure that we, as the couple, didn’t have a single worry or concern. We were able to relax and truly enjoy our day from beginning to end, and we know TMH played a huge part in that. Even with all the advance planning of the timeline and all the little details, we didn’t feel responsible for any of it on the day, as it was all being taken care of around us. Everything flowed well from one “stage” to the next. We were impressed with all the coordination that went on behind the scenes to allow this to happen. The few times that our input was needed day of, it was handled gracefully by TMH staff and was not disruptive or stressful. TMH staff did a really good job of making us, as well as our guests, feel extremely special and important. TMH staff worked well with all vendors to make the day completely seamless.
The ceremony and reception site couldn’t have been more beautiful, and it was obvious that the small details matter to TMH. It was better than we could ever have dreamed, and we got comments from our guests on every single detail. Our ceremony and reception were far from traditional, and they were pulled off without a hitch. We were able to take everything TMH offered and turn it into something unique and special to us. We appreciated TMH’s extraordinary flexibility in executing our vision. There was never any concern that we were going to get a “cookie cutter” experience out of an all-inclusive venue. Overall, TMH’s package offering took a huge burden off the planning process, which was a major selling point for us.Twenty Mile House's reply:

I can't recommend the Twenty Mile House enough. We got married in September 2023 and it was absolutely beautiful. We were stressed thinking about starting the planning process but the staff made it easy and enjoyable. Everything you need, from flowers, to photography, to catering, to the DJ were in house and they were all fantastic. It was so nice to know that everything was being taken care of for us so we were able to completely relax and enjoy the day. My husband and I both don't like taking photos, but the photographer made the photo session fun and captured the day perfectly for us. It started to sprinkle and before we knew it all the guests had umbrellas and there were tents above the tables, without us having to ask or worry about a thing. The rain quickly passed and the DJ had everyone on the dance floor all night. The food and desserts were all delicious and the caterer did a great job working with our dietary restrictions. It's hard to fully describe our exceptional experience during all phases of working with Twenty Mile House -- from collaborating with Rachel and Penie planning, to working with the incredible vendors and TMH staff, to the best weekend and wedding experience we could have dreamed of, to the kind messages and ease of wrapping up a sensational event.
With a deep love of the mountains and Graeagle area, we wanted to not only get married in this special place but also share the magic of this area with friends and family. Twenty Mile House was the perfect venue for creating the experience we wanted - turning a beautiful wedding into a weekend event where our guests felt welcomed, could spend quality time, and get to vacation in a stunning location. Friends and family were able to stay onsite, we did a 60+ person float down the Feather river ending at the property, and host a 100+ person Welcome dinner the night, in addition to a stunning wedding.
Beyond this, what made Twenty Mile House feel truly special was the above and beyond work and kindness of Penie, the TMH staff, and vendors -- from the minute details to the big moments, we felt completely taken care of and supported. With an amazing combination of ease, thoughtfulness, and expertise the TMH team was THE BEST! Additionally, the vendors -- as people who love food -- we were SO happy working with Grandma Janes Place for desserts (only regret is not eating more at the wedding!) and Holly at Pangaea Catering was the right move -- everything was delicious, very enjoyed by guests, and wonderful to design a menu perfect for us. DJ Duckie was a hit and kept everyone dancing until the very end and working with Rachelle from Composing Reality felt natural and captured our event beautifully.

We had our wedding at Twenty Mile House in August and it was an unforgettable experience! The venue is simply stunning, it’s truly magical and was the most amazing backdrop for our wedding weekend. We loved every minute of it!
From start to finish, Penie and the TMH staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for the big day. We are so grateful to have Penie as our wedding coordinator, she’s one of a kind! Penie is incredibly organized, professional, and always available to answer any questions or concerns which made all the planning leading up to the wedding feel very manageable. Her attention to detail, passion for her job, and calm demanor truly made a huge difference. We were so grateful to have had her by our side throughout the planning process and our wedding weekend.
Throughout the weekend, the staff at Twenty Mile House were welcoming, attentive, and made sure everyone was having a great time. Everything was perfectly coordinated and all their behind the scenes work allowed us to relax and enjoy every minute of our wedding.
In addition to the incredible venue and top-notch service, one of the highlights of having our wedding at Twenty Mile House was the on-site accommodations. Having our wedding party stay on-site made the entire experience even more special and intimate. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and being able to spend the whole weekend together allowed us to spend quality time with our favorite people.
Our only concern with Twenty Mile House was off-site accommodations for our guests. However, we were able to find a variety of accommodations to meet our guests needs and got nothing but compliments on our choice of venue and the surrounding area. These included room blocks at a couple upscale golf resorts, a room block at a rustic lodge, and a smattering of cabins and houses. We also provided a door-to-door shuttle service for the rehearsal dinner and ceremony/reception which made everything easy for our guests.
Having all the vendors through Twenty Mile House really helped with all the logistics of wedding planning. We were impressed with the quality of each of the vendors, and how seamlessly all of the vendors worked together. Everything was coordinated flawlessly, making for a smooth and stress-free experience. Each vendor brought their own unique touch to the day, and it was wonderful to see everything come together so beautifully.
Special callout for the food (Pangea) and the dessert (Grandma Jane’s Place). Everything was delicious, with a menu that was tailored to our tastes and preferences. My guests were raving about the quality of the meal, and we were definitely impressed.
Overall, choosing Twenty Mile House as my wedding venue was the best decision we could have made. The combination of a stunning venue, fantastic staff, on-site accommodations, a wedding coordinator who truly cares, and seamless vendor coordination made for a truly unforgettable and magical experience. -

Making Magic Happen in the Lost Sierras
We started planning our wedding back in March 2020 with Rachel Mann. Due to COVID restrictions, we weren't able to actually go and visit onsite, but simply based on the photos and the strong connection we felt we shared with Rachel, we decided to move forward site unseen. Rachel and team served as a tremendous resource for us as we dove into the craziness of planning. We ultimately shifted our date twice and each time, the TMH team was flexible, fair, and incredibly easy to work with.
As we approached the date, we started to really kick planning into high gear with Penie Derrick -- she was a true godsend. Pennie managed to balance our preferences, thoughts, feelings with her expertise and know-how of what works best at TMH to help produce an incredible weekend of events.
We first got to TMH on Sunday morning for our Monday wedding. Penie and her staff did an amazing job helping arrange everything onsite. We did not have a wedding planner or day-of-coordinator -- it was just us, Penie, and the rest of the staff working together to get everything prepped and honestly, we had to do only the bare minimum (show up with alcohol and special decorations) -- the TMH staff did all the rest. They were kind, considerate, knowledgeable, calm -- their collective high-caliber competence and delightful demeanor worked wonders in helping to make the wedding day itself a serene and beautiful experience for us.
The wedding day itself, Penie kicked things into overdrive and it was a sight to behold. She was the conductor of the chaos that is the wedding prep and pulled it all off without a hitch. Penie even made time to constantly check in on the bride and make sure she had whatever she needed at all times. As the timing continued to slip and best laid plans required last minute adjustments, Penie was the cool, calm captain of our wedding ship that steered unflinchingly through the stormy waters. One of our favorite moments came between the ceremony and reception when Penie brought us a full plate of appetitzers in a tucked away corner, just so we could catch our breath for a moment -- it was so thoughtful and kind, we were both incredibly touched by her gesture of kindness.
The reception and party was absolute perfection for us -- it couldn't have possibly gone any better. We're pretty sure we even saw Rachel hopping over to help man the bar at one point!
Overall, we couldn't recommend working with Twenty Mile House any more strongly. It is a special place run by an incredible staff -- we feel so lucky to have found such a perfect venue to host our wedding and feel deeply appreciative and grateful to all the wonderful people who helped us pull it off! -

There's no way you can go wrong with any part of your wedding experience at Twenty Mile House. The flowers, the food, the photography, the music, the coordination.......TMH is truly as special as it is billed. From day one we felt important and valued. Having someone to walk us through our journey made the process so much less stressful than it could have been.
It's truly so difficult to put into words how special the property at TMH is. From the historic buildings, to the forest, to the river, to the train track, to the guests cabins. These elements combined made our day and night truly magical. -

TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS ONE! I’m going to take the time to write the review I wish I would have found when I was wedding venue/vendor shopping. I’m going to break it all down for you and tell you what you really want to know. No BS.
Overall:
Twenty Mile House was hands down THE BEST WEDDING DECISION WE MADE. Every time I think about that magical day I feel so lucky to have found this place. It’s exactly what I was looking for and more. So many of the typical issues that brides can have will be avoided simply by having TMH host your wedding. If you like the pictures/vibe on their website, then your search is over. This is the place you want. Book it. It’s worth every penny and more. Trust me, I already wasted all my time asking the millions of questions and came up satisfied.
Venue:
Twenty Mile House itself is the stuff of wedding dreams. It is in the beautiful Lost Sierra’s on a 200-acre vintage estate. The ceremony site is nestled in a clearing in the woods, surrounded by towering pines. It feels intimate, personal, and just perfect. The reception is set up on the red brick patio & garden lawns with a beautiful red brick house as the back drop. There’s a cute little “general store” with a bar area outside and food & coffee/tea are served buffet style inside (if that’s what you choose). There are white twinkle lights wrapped around all the trees and draping like a canopy over the seating area and dance floor. The grounds and gardens are pristine. There’s a creek, a cute little bridge, a river, and railroad tracks. I mean, come on, what else could you ask for? It is understated elegance at its finest.
Nitty gritty:
We got married on April 26th, 2022 and stayed at TMH for 3 nights. The entire place is included with all the cabins so 36 people can stay comfortably on site. It includes your choice of ceremony and reception site, arch, tables, chairs, linens, tableware, glassware, ALL staff/servers/bartenders, set-up, and take-down. You just tell them how you want everything and they make it happen. Vendors included are a wedding coordinator, caterer, baker, photographer, DJ, and florist. You just need to find your own videographer, transportation, hair & makeup, stationary, and any other extras you want. (But they have a list of recommended vendors on their website.) This AMAZING team of vendors each orchestrate their part flawlessly. That was one of the things that I didn’t even realize would be a huge benefit until afterwards. There were ZERO coordination issues. This staff does nearly 100 weddings a year together. Everyone knows their role and they have figured out how they intersect with each other. They know how the other thinks and can nearly read each other’s minds. Best part is this all happens behind the scene and they pull it off like a beautiful dance. You feel like royalty. Everyone is there to support you and make your day (or days) perfect. From the moment we unloaded our stuff, they handled EVERYTHING. Even things I expected to have to do, I would find it already handled exactly as I would have handled it. You can expect to do all the planning, communicate the details, and then leave the coordination and execution to them! It’s glorious. The team at TMH exceeded our expectations in the ways they were able to not only pull off our vision EXACTLY, but also anticipate all our needs and desires. I was never made to feel like any request was too much, but rather that they were eager and excited to accommodate. You’ll leave here feeling like you stepped out of a fairy tale and you were a queen for a day. *sigh*
While all the staff at TMH went above and beyond, Rachel (wedding coordinator) deserves her own paragraph. She is the embodiment of integrity, organization, and clarity. I feel so lucky to have had her as my wedding coordinator, but I think she should change her title to wedding genie. She has a calm, confident presence that was exactly what this high anxiety bride needed. From my very first novel email to the last, she patiently (and quickly!) worked through my 100’s of questions and never missed one. She follows up, follows through, and makes your dreams come true. I know that sounds cliche, but it’s true. She makes you feel like you’re the only thing she has going on when I know in fact she has tons of others demanding her time and attention. During the wedding planning process, she was able to keep me grounded while keeping the magic alive at the same time. When she says she will do something, she does it. When she tells you something is a good/bad idea, take it as the gospel truth. She is the perfect balance between advice and support. She has a gift for being able to figure out what you want and how to make that work in what she can offer. She gives her honest opinion and doesn’t sugar coat the possibilities. She takes the time to get to know you and the vibe you are after and then executes it flawlessly. She helped me set realistic expectations and more than once she was the voice of reason that reminded me of what was important and helped me relax during the wedding planning process. For example, we were getting to the end of the line and there was still so much that wasn’t done on my end (I was in NP school and working while wedding planning), so I was sending her an email from the airport on my way to Cabo for my bachelorette party. She wrote back in all caps with red font: “STOP WORKING AND GO ENJOY YOUR TIME WITH YOUR FRIENDS!! :)” (but she still answered all my questions!) Everyone probably feels this way after working with her, but I feel like we became friends throughout the process and I wish I could have taken her home with me. Maybe she is just that good. But I seriously love her.
In a nutshell:
If you want to have the wedding of your dreams and not lose your mind trying to pull it off, this is the place for you.

The Most Magical Place to Start Our Forever
From the moment I saw the pictures, I knew Twenty Mile House was where I wanted our forever to begin. Just like I knew my husband was The One, I knew Twenty Mile House was The One. They make the wedding process so simple and painless, and their team of vendors really can customize just about anything for your vision. Our coordinator, Penie, was outstanding! Her creative problem solving and quick responses alleviated all my worries. She went above and beyond to make our dreams a reality with the setup and décor, especially after some of our plans went haywire just weeks before the wedding. She saved the day in so many ways. On our wedding day, I heard from basically everyone that I was the most relaxed and stress-free bride they had ever seen – I owe that ALL to Penie and the TMH team! (My amazing husband gets a little credit, too.)
Rachelle, the photographer, was so on top of it with the schedule and capturing the photos we wanted. Our guests raved about the food from Pangaea Catering (and the late night bites were a huge hit!). We had the buffet in the general store and I was particularly impressed when the friendly staff came out to the tables to offer seconds and bring food directly to our guests. That was such a classy touch and our guests really appreciated it. The dessert bar was devoured and a definite showpiece at the reception. The grounds are immaculate and the privacy of the location made everything so intimate. Our guests were in awe of the stunning natural beauty, and we heard from many of them that it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

Twenty mile house is an absolute DREAM! I just got married there a few days ago and my big day was nothing short of perfection. The grounds are so beautiful and well kept. The housing accommodations are beautifully kept and display the antique charm that the venue prides itself on. The staff could not have been any more accommodating and amazing. You could tell everyone who worked there loves working there and is genuinely so happy to make the couples day!
Now let's get into vendors and planning:
Penie who is the wedding coordinator at Twenty Mile is a fairy god mother! Any vision you have, she can turn into reality. She is prompt when you email her with questions and is always on top of every detail. She's genuinely so happy and excited for every couple that comes through that venue. Penie is the sweetest human I think I've ever met and I couldn't be more pleased with how everything came together!
Holly- best caterer ever!!! The food was amazing and Holly was just the easiest to work with. We had some picky eaters in the crowd and she was able to cater our more complex taste to the liking of our plain Jane eaters. She went around multiple times during dinner to make sure everything was delicious and she even made modifications of our rehearsal dinner food so my baby niece could participate in the festivities. Her and her catering staff were so kind and you could tell they truly wanted our day to be amazing
Kim- she did our desserts and absolutely rocked it. We decided to go for a dessert bar instead of cake for everyone and it was the best decision ever! There were items that we hadn't seen on her menu but she was able to make for our day! Everything was so delicious, especially our small cutting cake. Me and my husband couldn't get enough of it and have already had some more of it!!
Sonia- she made the most beautiful flower arrangements I have ever seen. My vision was whatever was in season and make it look like you went out to a field and picked a bouquet of flowers and she did just that! Such an amazing eye for dimension and colors!
Rachelle- our photographer- could not have been any better. As someone who is uncomfortable in front of the camera, she really hyped me up and coached me on how to be natural. She also had so many great ideas and visions of what to photograph. I am so excited to see how our photos turned out. We had a blast hanging out with her and joking around while getting photos done! She knows the venue like the back of her hand and knows exactly what shots to get while also being very open to your suggestions as well!
DJ Duckie- this man came out of the woodworks for our big day! He played the music which we suggested, but in hindsight, I wish we would've just let him play his own mixes. Will saw me and my husbands music style and made the decision to start playing his mixes which is more dirty house and I have never felt happier!! I haven't been to a concert or festival since before Covid and Will was able to provide me with the joy of experiencing that at my own wedding. He legit put on a show just for us and it was the coolest experience ever! When he plays the stuff he's super passionate about, he SHINES and everyone in attendance can tell and can feel the good vibes from him. 10/10 would recommend! If you're into house and dance music and don't want to play the basic wedding songs, let Will know to play his stuff- it makes a world of difference!
Lastly, I wanted to shout out the bar staff at Twenty mile! They were all so sweet! We had custom cocktails night of that weren't common drinks and were custom and they made it EXACTLY the way it tasted from a restaurant I got it from. When there were any questions about the recipe, the reached out and made sure everything was correct! At the end of the night we had some really buzzed guests and they were amazing at making sure that those guests were drinking water and limiting their intake!
All in all, getting married at Twenty Mile House was the best decision I have ever made. My wedding day was truly everything I imagined and more and couldn't have done it without all of these lovely vendors!

Best day of our lives
Everything was perfect and stress free. Penie was our wedding coordinator and we hired the recommended vendors from TMH. Every vendor worked together perfectly to make our wedding truly incredible. I may be biased but it was the best wedding I’ve ever been to by far. The food is magnificent, the venue is amazing, the people are incredible. We had to do almost nothing to plan our wedding. We just said “this is kind of what we have in mind” and Penie made it all happen. We even had a situation where my dad had to return to their cabin to get insulin and missed the anniversary dance. My mom was standing at the side of the dance floor saddened by his absence. When he returned I said “Penie my mom is sad please fix it.” She immediately went to the DJ and had my parents announced with a special dance for their 39 years of marriage to their wedding song and saved the day. We are eternally grateful for Twenty Mile House, it’s amazing staff and vendors for making our wedding day so special! Everything was absolutely perfect and we highly encourage all couples to consider this venue for their wedding. We were looking for an outdoor venue in California and came across this beautiful historical property an hour and half north of Truckee. Without skipping a beat we signed up for the next wedding faire and couldn’t wait to visit the property in person. Unfortunately the pandemic delayed the wedding faire, but we decided to move forward with requesting a consultation anyways. Choosing Twenty Mile House was the best decision and we enjoyed every part of the process.
The virtual consultation was fun, interactive and informative. Once we officially began the planning process we couldn’t believe how much they set us up for success. We were sent resources to help plan out our wedding vision and easily coordinated with our vendors from a far. We had a such a fun time at the wedding faire and finally got to meet all the vendors in person. Everyone is so nice, the food and desserts are absolutely delicious and the property is even more beautiful in person.
One of the main reasons we chose Twenty Mile House is because it’s all inclusive and offers multiple vendors that are contracted with their specific venue. This made it extremely easy to coordinate because we didn’t have to stress about finding a florist, caterer, baker, DJ, photographer and lodging for the wedding party / close family. They are extremely familiar with the area and know tips and tricks that other vendors wouldn’t know about the property. There are also numerous options for decor add on’s if you are open to paying additional fees and you can include additional and external vendors as well. We definitely went all out and everything was how we envisioned and more!
We had the opportunity to stay two days before our wedding and it was only our wedding party onsite. The onsite guests couldn’t get enough and had a blast exploring the property. We chose to have our wedding rehearsal dinner at Twenty Mile House which was such a great decision. We worked with the same caterer and enjoyed a Taco Bar themed dinner. The following day was the wedding and it couldn’t have been any better. Our day of coordinator, Rachel, was phenomenal and made sure everything went according to plan. We absolutely loved the staff and vendors because they made our day so special and we were so sad when everything was over.
The next day we didn’t want the experience to end, but unfortunately it was time to check out. All our wedding guests had an amazing time, couldn’t stop saying how beautiful everything was and everyone loved the property. We still find ourselves reliving that week over and over and we secretly hope someone we know will have a wedding at Twenty Mile House so we can go back and experience it as guests.
Huge thank you to our sensational coordinator Rachel for being so amazing, patient and supportive through the entire process. You all made our wedding week and we can’t thank you enough.

Beautiful setting, wonderful staff, and fantastic accommodations.
The staff was so helpful and friendly. We felt taken care of the whole time. The venue provides a quality all-inclusive package that alleviates a lot of the stress that usually accompanies wedding planning. Magical Experience!
Twenty Mile House is the wedding venue dreams are made of! Rachel, the wedding planner and essentially the face of TMH, is awesome. Rachel is experienced, patient, and clearly loves what she does. The rest of the staff is friendly and helpful too!
The vendors TMH works with were carefully chosen, and they work together seamlessly. Having an all inclusive wedding is the way to go! There are still tons of decisions to make, so having so many details locked in is extremely helpful.
I knew this venue was the right venue for us within the first moments of arriving on the property. It has such a calming and magical ambiance that is supported by the charm of the buildings and beauty of the natural landscape.
I can't say enough about this place. Please search for TMH on social media and look at all of the photos and videos you can find! It is worth the drive, worth the price, and worth fighting through a pandemic in order to have the most amazing wedding experience possible! -

Professional, Attentive & Kind!
Twenty Mile House was the absolute best wedding venue for our special day! Aside from the breathtaking venue in the mountains of Plumas County, the site is filled with pockets of nature among historic buildings with a rustic yet elegant feel for you and your guests to enjoy. Our party spent the weekend at Twenty Mile House. We enjoyed our rehearsal dinner with full catering, staff, bartender, and of course the spectacular coordinator who walked us through the ceremony. On our wedding day the staff, coordinator, florist, caterers, and photographer were all incredibly helpful and professional. Our wedding was absolutely magical thanks to the Twenty Mile House team! My husband and I would not have had such a wonderful wedding without the professional, kind, and attentive staff that Twenty Mile House provided. We had the wedding of our dreams thanks to Twenty Mile House!

What Wedding Dreams Are Made Of...
We are a few months into married life and we continue to relive our PERFECT wedding at the Twenty Mile House! We fell in love with the property when we saw the forest ceremony site and learned about the option to float the river that runs through the property! However what truly sold us on the venue was the coordinator Rachel!!! We needed someone we could trust as we live in Southern CA. Little did we know just how much we would need to trust her when a global pandemic hit just months before our big day! Here is a rundown of our vendors:
Catering: Southern Accent- Kent and Adrienne were SO KIND and accommodating! All of our guests raved about the food and were big fans of the last night pizza. We also hired them to cater our rehearsal dinner. They were so attentive and even joined us on the dance floor for a few songs!
Dessert: Grandma Jane's- Kimberly and her daughter nailed every dessert! We did a cutting cake (best cake I've ever had) mini cupcakes, mini pies, and mini cheesecake bites. They nailed the maple donut cupcake and the lace design on the cutting cake I had asked for was beautiful!
Florals: Gray's Florals- Sonia is a true artist! I envisioned neutral flowers and pampas grass complemented by copper and mercury glass accents. She nailed everything and was able to swap out a bridesmaid bouquet for additional florals only days before the wedding. We gave her lots of freedom in terms of specific florals which allowed her to work her magic and nail our vision!
DJ Jon: He was a fill in for the planned DJ but he was awesome! He had people dancing all night long and even stayed a bit extra to let the party continue. He had great energy and was a wedding guest favorite!
Bar: The drinks were tasty and Joseph and staff did not stop working the entire night! They even left drinks out for us once the staff left at midnight. A perk of TMH is no noise ordinance so we were up till almost 3am!
We sourced photo and video separately and they NAILED it! I will write separate reviews but 32 Degree Media and Taylor McCutchan are the best in their craft! These were #1 on my priority list behind a stunning ceremony site as they allow you to relieve every detail. We received our teaser and previews for both within weeks (photo we had the very next day!!) and we couldn't be happier!
Coordinator/ Staff: Rachel and the TMH staff work non-stop to make your vision come true. We stayed on property Thursday till Sunday and every detail was taken care of from sun up to sun down! We could not have asked for a better coordinator than Rachel. She was organized, calm, accommodating, and FUN! She hyped us up for the big weekend but kept us calm as we navigated the unexpected challenges of COVID.
One piece of advice when planning any wedding at any venue is to understand your contracts with all vendors. Understand how situations like COVID (is there even something similar to this?!) or other unpredictables impact your date/ planning process. Our wedding process was so SMOOTH until COVID which was unchartered territory for everyone. Nonetheless, with Rachel at the wheel and the great vendors that work with TMH, our wedding weekend came together perfectly and safely! -

Perfection! From the moment we stepped foot on the premises, the entire Twenty Mile House staff made us and each one of our guests feel welcome. The small things…The staff made sure we had a chance to catch our breadth, take in the moment, and double-checked that the bride & groom’s glasses and plates were always full. When the day flies by in the blink of an eye, the smallest things can make a difference and are quite memorable. They ensured all the little details we wanted on our special day were executed and ready to go.
TMH offers a truly unique environment made for a storybook wedding. Having an all-inclusive venue made planning a breeze, especially during pandemic times, we really appreciated the ease of logistics among TMH and its vendors. TMH offers a comprehensive and straight forward guide to planning your dream wedding and it covers all the details you could possibly need. All the vendors TMH partner’s with are absolutely incredible! Choosing vendors who are familiar with TMH’s terrain makes a huge difference as they are able to make the best decisions and recommendations in a moment’s notice. Every vendor is extremely friendly and highly responsive. Our guests instantly raved about the food and dessert - Southern Accent Catering and Grandma Janes Place made things easy as they each offer an assortment of delicious options. I did not give much direction on the flowers, but Gray’s Flower Garden hit it out of the park and the final product was perfect! Whether you are the type of person to get into the nitty gritty about details or just want to focus on the bigger picture, Twenty Mile House pairs well with any couple.
We recommend Twenty Mile House to any couple looking for an incredibly unique wedding with easy and guided planning without the need to hire an additional wedding planner. TMH was instantly a home away from home. One regret is wishing we spent more than one night at the venue. We only booked the venue for the wedding night and we didn’t have enough time to soak in all the beauty TMH has to offer with our friends and family. Planning a return anniversary trip is definitely on our bucket list! Major kudos to Rachel Mann, Penny, and Lenny for creating such a memorable wedding day for us! -

I am still on cloud 9 as I am writing this. This place is truly magical. There is something very special about Twenty Mile House. Not only is it insanely beautiful but the staff went above and beyond to make sure our special day was perfect. It was worth every penny and exceeded my vision of my dream wedding. I have to say that all this wouldn’t have been possible with the help of Rachel Mann. She is so amazing. She got things done and with excellent communication. She helped me from day one. She can execute a wedding blindfolded. I feel like I made a friend with Rachel and look forward to seeing her again. She made the day of my wedding go by so smoothly. She made the entire planning process easy and fun. Everything was executed without a hitch on the day of the wedding. She is an angel. We wanted to get married by the river but the weather was too hot so we got married in the forest instead. It was perfection. Rachel and the staff surprised us by taking our ground flower altar down to the river for sunset photos. I cried at the thoughtful gesture and was able to get the best of both worlds. They really care! I suggest going to their wedding fair and meeting the vendors! It was so fun! We had Andrew Ohren for cocktail hour on his guitar and he is so talented. We loved all our vendors! Holly at Pangea was a pleasure to work with and our food was so yummy! She was excellent to communicate with and we are very happy with our menu. Our desserts from Dee was so was delicious, please get the cheesecake. Jon Alder the DJ killed it! We had our own playlist and very specific requests and he was so fun to work with. Lets just say we all had a blast. Sonia the florist exceeded my expectations and brought my vision to life. I was blown away at her work. She is truly talented. So many people commented saying our wedding was the most beautiful, magical, and fun wedding they have ever gone to. One of my friends compared it to “a celebrity wedding”. I am so sad that it is over. Please get married at Twenty Mile House and invite us haha. Dream come true! -

What a year this has been trying to plan our wedding. It has been a very stressful decision trying to work out the best way to approach our 2020 wedding. Our venue the Twenty Mile House couldn't have been more understanding and helpful in providing advice and flexibility in coming up with the decision that is best for us and our situation. They provided us with many options and were happy to talk with us on multiple occasions as we worked through how best to proceed. In the end we decided to reschedule to 2021. Dream Venue for Nature Lovers
Where do I even begin? Our experience with Twenty Mile House was incredible. The grounds are so peaceful and fun to explore. The whole crew (special shout out to Rachel who is amazingly organized and chill) and their vendors (shout to Composing Reality, Southern Accent, Grandma Jane’s Place, and Sonia Grays Flowers, y’all are the best people) were such a dream to work with. They honored our vision and executed it beautifully. Throughout the planning process, they were responsive, reassuring, and flexible. When the wedding weekend came around, it went so smoothly and was everything we dreamed of. Because of all the staff support, we were able to spend time with our guests and enjoy the joyous occasion. We knew Twenty Mile House was special the minute we set foot on site, but we never could have imagined what a magical experience our wedding would be. Pictures and videos can’t even begin to capture the incredible feeling of dropping out of time while being immersed in stunning natural surroundings and surrounded by the people you love most. From exchanging vows in the enchanted forest to dancing outdoors under the lights, we could not be happier with our decision to have our wedding at TMH.
We originally picked Twenty Mile House because it met all our major criteria: 1) In the woods. 2) No alcohol restrictions. 3) No time restrictions. 4) Housing on site. 5) Site control for the entire weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun). As we quickly found out, those just scrape the surface of what makes TMH so special.
It starts with Rachel, the wedding coordinator. Her title should be wedding magician. We live in NYC and were worried that the distance would be an issue. Not at all. She provided us with worksheets, timelines, contacts, suggestions, and support. Through it all, her infectious positive spirit and calm demeanor made us feel confident (even when we put off a lot of the planning till a month out!). We have no idea how she keeps everything so organized. Throughout our entire 1.5 year engagement, she responded to every question and request promptly and with such thoughtfulness. It felt as if we were her only client. This thoughtfulness continued on the wedding day, as she made sure everything went smoothly. She even personally delivered us drinks and appetizers after the ceremony while we were taking our photos.
The rest of the staff were equally impressive. From the moment we arrived, we felt taken care of. Penny and her team handled everything from managing the alcohol delivery to helping us blow up floats for our rafting trip. The staff is the secret sauce to TMH, making sure that you and your guests are able to focus on all good stuff of the wedding and don’t have to worry about any of the logistics.
Holly at Pangaea went above and beyond and made us a custom Indonesian menu for the rehearsal dinner. Though she had never made any of the dishes, she did an absolutely amazing job. Even our Indonesian guests were blown away. That meal was definitely one of the highlights of the whole weekend. And the mini naan pizzas she made as a late night snack for our reception were delicious as well, giving our guests a boost of energy to keep the party going. The farewell breakfast was fabulous too!
The party was MC’d by DJ Todd, who kept people dancing all night long. We provided him with a playlist, which he perfectly molded to keep the energy high and people of all ages engaged on the dance floor.
There were roughly 140 people at our wedding so most people stayed off-site. Brad at Sierra Charters helped us set up shuttle service to take people to and from TMH. Most people rented houses nearby, so we set up shuttle stops close to where our guests were staying. Everything ran on time and allowed everyone to celebrate freely.
By the end of the weekend, we lost track of how many guests complemented the venue. This has continued weeks and weeks after our wedding! We only wish we could have stayed longer.
While there are so many decisions to make when planning a wedding, picking Twenty Mile House as your venue should be the easiest one of all. -

Rachel and the ENTIRE team at Twenty Mile House were incredible. The following is an attempt to credibly document the ways in which they made our wedding day the best day ever.
My (now) wife, and I are both the ‘outdoors’ type, and as such, we wanted to find a place where we could surround our guests with the colors, sounds, and feelings that made the two of us so happy. We live in Chicago, and my wife had anxiety about planning a wedding, let alone a wedding 3,000 miles away. Rachel and her team made this an absolute breeze from the jump. Whether it was the barrage of initial questions, or the finer late-stage details, Rachel was always on our side and ultimately had our best interests in mind. The bi-annual wedding fair was an incredible opportunity to see and sample what could and would eventually turn into the details our guests would rave about later. The experience of getting married was heavy enough, but the weight of each decision was made lighter by the guidance and experience of a team and venue that understands the gravity of the situation, and how to maximize such gorgeous surroundings in a way that seems effortless (it isn’t, they’re just that good).
We cannot stress enough, the general importance of having a team of vendors so in tune with the unanimous goal of a wonderful wedding day, as what we found at Twenty Mile House. Every item was executed at the highest level, regardless of any options we chose to include or leave off. Not that it was our first consideration, but the value for this stellar experience cannot be understated. Beth and I were able to be a part of the festivities, rather than a part of the machine of the festivities. That made a world of difference.
We chose Southern Accent for catering (though all options during the fair were delicious). We also had Cakes by Dee for dessert. We are still receiving complements on the food we chose!
Pro Tips:
• Trust Rachel
• Trust Todd (DJ)
• Consider a float trip on the property as a part of the festivities!
• Consider having friends on site rather than older family members that might usually leave earlier
• Encourage your guests to explore the area. This part of the Sierras is so beautiful.
At the end of the day, it comes down to two things…an incredibly beautiful place, and a team that makes it their mission to make sure you never forget it.

We LOVED Twent Mile House!!!
Having our wedding at Twenty Mile House was nothing short of magical. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and every vendor we worked with only made it look more gorgeous. Every vendor that works with Twenty Mile House knows the venue so well and because of that they knew how to make my vision fit perfectly with the venue. They were easy to connect with and great about keeping in touch for all the changes and alterations we made to our plans, menus, music list, etc. Their florist really blew me away with the arrangements she made and the photographer was a blast and already knew all of the best photo areas and best timing. The DJ was gave us a great vibe for each part of the evening, and all of the food was incredible. The caterer was so sweet, she even, unprompted, went the extra mile and made gluten free pancakes for our brunch because she knew I had a guest with celiacs. Rachel and the staff were professional, personable and truly enjoyable to work with. They seem like they genuinely enjoy their job. They kept everything running smoothly and made it the easiest, most enjoyable weekend my husband and I have ever had. I can’t say enough for this spot! The Twenty Mile House (TMH) is an amazing and magical, location, venue, and team! The decision to work with TMH to share our wedding vision was a no brainer, we had to book with them!
When we first stepped onto the property, Rachel (the Wedding Coordinator) was friendly and listened to what we were looking for. We got a tour of the three beautiful ceremony locations, and they are ALL breathtaking! The vendors we chose that TMH had in their catalog, are ROCKSTARS (Southern Accent, The Cake Studio, Gray's Flower Garden, Wildsmile Entertainment)! Even vendors that TMH didn't have in their catalog, but had recommended (Composing Reality, 32 Degrees Media) are professional and awesome! TMH has an amazing wedding fair where their catalog vendors, recommended vendors, and new vendors can showcase their work. There are so many amazing OPTIONS! We met Talia Koval (Live Painting), and we knew had to work with her. I follow them on Instagram and found out that Petite Street Mobile Bar previously got married at TMH, and we wanted to work with them! Rachel was very accommodating to work with them. We could not believe how perfect ALL of the vendors worked together!
TMH is so accommodating and makes everything feel stressless, painless, easy, and seamless! They are very organized and work with online worksheets that can be viewed and worked on by all parties. They are easy to call, text, or email if you need to get a hold of them, and reply very quickly. They do all the setup and tear down of all decor. They have a great list of decorations, linen, etc, that will make your wedding vision come to life!. All of their staff are friendly, amazing, and make sure everything is perfect.
We can't rate Twenty Mile House more than what we're allowed to! You and your guests on your wedding day will be in awe when they arrive! We're considering (more than likely) doing vow renewals here in the future! -

This place is a hidden gem. The venue is "out there" but that is what makes it so intimate and special. Our wedding was beautiful, intimate, and everyone felt so relaxed and comfortable. Many of our guests commented how it was "the best wedding they have ever been to." I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our entire bridal party stayed on site the entire weekend which made it a really unique and fun experience.
The venue provides a "package deal" which includes the venue and vendors included in the price. This took so much stress out of the planning process and the entire staff was great. I love this place with all my heart and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun outdoor wedding. -

I cannot say enough great and amazing things about Twenty Mile House!
As a venue alone, it is BEYOND GORGEOUS! The weather was perfect, the scenery is calming and relaxing and beautiful, the night time lighting lent to an ambiance that words honestly cannot describe! I've been adulting way too long to still believe in fairy-tales. So, honestly, I wasn't a foo-foo romantic, Disney princess type of bride. But the venue alone almost brought out whatever small hint of inner princess I had buried deep inside!
And as the venue started to ignite a flare of the regal life within my soul, the TMH staff and vendors effortlessly drew out even more of my deeply buried childhood dreams of a storybook wedding. Diligently catering to my grandiose ideas of "I wonder if it's possible" and "could you make this happen, too?". Working with them in the weeks leading up to the wedding, I started to feel like there wasn't anything that couldn't be done to make my big day super special. And then upon arriving at the venue and meeting everybody in person, immediately I could feel that every person on the team was so genuine and authentic and honestly wanted to pull off THE best wedding day that my fiance and I could dream of...
And they absolutely pulled it off!! By the end of the night, I felt like the TMH staff and vendors maybe hadn't got the memo that I wasn't actually related to the royal family at all.
If you are looking for a venue and a team of people that can completely stop the crazy-busy world form spinning around you just long enough to give you and the person you love more than anybody else in the world, a moment of complete bliss and love and celebration, this is the venue that you should book with. Our 4 day stay at TMH was breathtaking and life changing. It was the moment we needed to celebrate us, to be loved and supported and have everything we wanted and needed. It was our time to just do us, while everybody else took care of everything else.
After the wedding, life stepped back in again and we were adulting at full-force again within hours of leaving the resort. But thanks to TMH staff and vendors, we will always have our memory of that perfect, beautiful and amazing wedding day to remind us of how wonderful it is when you can leave the To-Do list and the busyness of life to others and take our moment alone to just be together! -

We could not have asked for a better wedding experience than we had with Twenty Mile House. We had several guests say it was the best wedding they’d ever attended. The venue itself is incredibly beautiful and peaceful, and everyone we worked with was great. We were living in Europe during much of the planning process, but everything went extremely smoothly with the help of TMH’s wedding coordinator, Rachel Mann. Rachel was very responsive, down to earth, and incredibly competent. Every time we spoke to her, any stress I was feeling about the wedding pretty much disappeared. I also really appreciated how Rachel was willing to give her well-informed opinion when we asked for it while still always respecting our preferences. The all-inclusive package structure made planning a million times easier and all the vendors were very helpful and responsive. Neither my partner nor I had a lot of strong opinions about many of the wedding-planning details, but everyone associated with Twenty Mile House was able to work really well with whatever level of input we gave them. Sonia from Gray’s Flower Garden provided some of the most beautiful flowers I’ve seen, just by going off of a handful of pictures I sent her on Pinterest. The catering from Pangea was absolutely delicious, especially the appetizers. The salted caramel cake from The Cake Studio was also perfect. DJ Todd and guitarist Andrew Ohren also did an amazing job. Everything ran extremely smoothly on the day of the wedding and the staff handled for the unpredictable weather without a hitch. We had an amazing time at our wedding and would 100% recommend Twenty Mile House. -

Couldn't be happier!!
We took a chance and booked our June 1st wedding without being able to tour the venue first. When we were able to come for a visit, we were not disappointed. It's an absolutely gorgeous venue in a beautiful town. Rachel Mann, the wedding coordinator and your main point of contact is AMAZING!! She made the process so easy and was very responsive to all of the thousand questions that I had. Overall, the planning process was not very stressful, or at least as stressful as I was expecting after talking to friends who had already gotten married. They make it easy with several affordable decor packages to chose from. The wedding itself was more incredible than I could have even imagined. Our guests were blown away by the natural beauty and the way that the whole day seamlessly flowed together. I can't say enough about all the vendors that are included in the wedding package. The flowers were perfect, the DJ Todd was great. We went with Souther Accents for the catering and they made sure there was plenty of food for everyone. They also did late night pizza and Adrienne was kind enough to bring me a piece on the dance floor! Grandma's Bakery made a delicious cake and dessert bar. Additionally, our family and friends had a blast traveling to this beautiful part of the country (we're from Texas) and everyone got to enjoy the outdoors and did some hikes. One thing to keep in mind, there are few hotels in the area and most book up with weddings. We were able to reserve all of Sierra Sky Lodge and several vacation homes through Plumas Pines Vacation Homes and got shuttles to bring people to the wedding. I highly recommend having guests book housing early for the popular summer months. As for the housing on site, it was quaint, comfortable and just perfect for what we needed. Overall, it was seriously the best day ever, you can't go wrong choosing Twenty Mile House! Wish we could do it again! -

The best venue ever!!
Twenty Mile House was the most amazing wedding venue I could’ve ever asked for. They helped make sure that our big day was everything we wanted and more. The all inclusive venue was well worth the stress free planning. If I could give this venue infinite stars, I would. If your on the fence about booking this venue, schedule a tour and see the beautiful venue for yourself. I would not change a single thing about our wedding day and we will forever cherish our time with Twenty Mile House. -

My wedding at Twenty Mile House was more than I could have imagined! Their staff are clearly seasoned professionals, and all our interactions with them were seamless. Rachel was a pleasure to work with - she was extremely responsive, detail oriented and knowledgeable about all aspects of the wedding planning process. She made it so that there was not a single thing I had to worry about on my wedding day! Because they are an all-inclusive venue, the planning process was very easy and stress free! They offer a wide range of options so you can absolutely customize your wedding however you'd like, and they take a lot of work off your plate! We loved the vendors we selected (catering through Pangea, cake through Dee's Cake Studio, DJ and florist) and each of them were equally responsive and helpful as they brought our wedding vision to life. Overall, all our guests commented on how beautiful and unique the venue was, and I couldn't agree more. I highly recommend Twenty Mile House! -

The most magical weekend we could have ever hoped for!
The Twenty Mile House delivered the most perfect wedding weekend for us. The planning guides they provide up front make navigating the planning as easy as it could be. They also allow you to incorporate your personal touches to make it feel like your own. We stayed Thursday through Sunday, with our welcome dinner occurring on Friday and our wedding ceremony/reception occurring on Saturday. Everything was perfect:
*Rachel (TMH coordinator) was such a pleasure to work with and ensured everything was to the agreed plan. We honestly didn't even have to think about a thing once we got there, we could just enjoy the weekend and see it all unfold. She knows her stuff, knows the questions to ask to get you thinking about and designing your perfect day.
*TMH staff were all professional and prepared to handle our early spring wedding. Weather was questionable and the staff provided the right accommodations in case of inclement weather. The accommodations were so inviting and clean. The grounds were so beautiful and well prepped for our weekend.
*Todd (DJ) was awesome, he accommodated our curated music for the ceremony/cocktail hour/dinner portion and worked his magic for dancing later in the evening. He even was able to accommodate a live music performance for our first dance without a hitch.
*Sonia (flowers) did an incredible job delivering what we had wanted. We had a Spring wedding and requested fall colors for our flowers and she nailed the request even though those colors are hard to find given the season. The bridal bouquet, arch flowers, table settings, everything she did was stunning. She even made greenery collars for my two dogs who were in the ceremony!
*Southern Accent (catering) provided amazing food for us over the weekend. We had several meals catered by Southern Accent - our Friday night welcome dinner, our cocktail hour appetizers, reception dinner, late night pizza, and farewell breakfast. Everything they served was sooooo good. Like, seriously good. And I also must comment on how sweet and friendly Kent and Adrienne (owners) are.
*Grandma Jane’s Place (Kim) provided the BEST desserts. We had a pretty specific vision of what we wanted (mini pineapple upsidedown cakes, brownies, and a small decorated cake for cutting) and they delivered desserts that not only looked amazing but tasted amazing too!
Overall, TMH not only executed our vision, but really went above and beyond to make our day special. It was the best weekend I've ever had and we can't wait to head back up that way over the years now that we've made the Cromberg/Graeagle area a special sentimental place for us.

The weekend spent at the Twenty Mile House was INCREDIBLE. The only thing I regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The Twenty Mile House property is so stunning, unique and beautiful- truly such a gem and one of the most beautiful places in the world.
The day of the wedding we all were able to enjoy to the fullest because the amazing staff set everything up and we didn’t have to do anything!
From the early planning stages to the day of the wedding it was so easy to work with Rachel and her crew. They were all wonderful and so professional. All the vendors we chose were so fantastic as well. The DJ, florist, caterers all were the BEST!
So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I thank the TMH for that. I wish I could get married here again! -

Magical and dreamy are the only words I can use to describe our wedding at Twenty Mile House. It was absolutely perfect. In addition to being a beautiful, outdoor venue - the staff was fantastic!
As soon as we set foot on the TMH property, we knew it was our venue. The organization of the planning worksheets and the easy communication was everything we could have asked for. They made hiring vendors simple with their wedding fair! The food, cake, and DJ options were a total hit. A HUGE shout out to Rachel, the wedding coordinator. She answered all of my questions promptly, checked on us throughout our entire stay, made sure all of our decor looked how we wanted, made sure we ate on our wedding day (super important), and was overall just AMAZING! My husband and I wish we could get married every year just so we could go back to Twenty Mile House and relive such a beautiful day! Thankfully we have amazing photos and videos to relive it forever!! Thank you Twenty Mile House for the fantastic services you offer and sharing such a beautiful property with us. -

Let me first start off by saying, that it's been about three months since our wedding and many of our guests are still talking about how it was such a magical night for them. They tell us " We had such an amazing time, not only was it beautiful and filled with love but personally I enjoyed everything about the weekend, it is one the most beautiful weddings I've ever gone to".
Now, I would not typically include quotes such as these, however many of our guests said the same to us. So naturally enough, I felt it fitting to add. I also say this because this is exactly what you should expect when you book with the Twenty Mile House in Cromberg.
From the very beginning of planning, it was very overwhelming if I must be honest. I knew as much to look for the venue we had envisioned, this being #1 on my priority list. I was searching about the good ol' interwebs and stumbled across a "perfect listing". Immediately we were on our way, & 24 hrs later we were viewing the TMH which would be the first & the last venue we would ever think of going to for our wedding day. Both my husband and I acknowledged that this would indeed be the perfect place that we had imagined for us to tie the knot.
The overwhelming feeling of planning was gracefully diminished when we heard the Twenty Mile House's Wedding Plans. How organized and logistically sound this company really is. They created something special that saves much time & money for the parties involved. Wedding fairs with bakers, caterers, and florist's that are truly talented. I must note that the TMH's wedding coordinator Rachel Mann is what I call something of an "Angel". She will be there every step of the way during the planning and on your big day, she will ease your stress and advice helpful and effective solutions. She is capable of challenges and never drops a beat. This quality was extremely important to me on our wedding day because I wanted to feel stress-free. I gave my full trust in Rachel and she exceeded all of my expectations.
The staff at the TMH is what is call "the magic of the night " if you blink for a second and open your eyes then all of your wishes come true. They set up the tables so beautifully and each decoration decided upon was tastefully placed. They are extremely respectful and courteous and are great at what they do.
We'd like to send our gratitude to everyone at the Twenty Mile House and supported venues. Also a special thanks to Rachel Mann, our day wouldn't have been our dream come true without you.
