My husband and I held our wedding reception at the Wit hotel a few weeks ago. Brittney Epstein and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with. We had cocktail hour on their famous, "ROOF," bar and then held our dinner and dance in the Wilde ballroom (144 guests). The food were not only generous portions, but every filet was cooked to perfection. The staff kept the wine flowing and the dance floor was packed all night. We also had our brunch the next day on THE ROOF, which was a blast as well! Brittney's also helped book our florist, Studio AG, whose flower arrangements were beyond beautiful. From the time we checked in with Chris and were handed warm chocolate chip cookies, from the time we checked out, the staff know how to execute hospitality. We would do an event here again in a second!

Where can I start? If you’re looking for the perfect venue for your wedding don’t hesitate to choose theWit. It’s not just because it’s a fun and beautiful venue, but everything about it is absolutely perfect. Brittney Epstein is the most amazing organizer you’ll ever meet. From the beginning we loved her and we knew she was going to make our wedding the best! We wanted to make a Venezuelan-American wedding and Brittney understood the concept from the very beginning. We wanted a non-traditional wedding, cocktail party style, with no sit-down dinner. Britney and the staff created a special menu to suit our dream wedding, and we have no words to describe it! Every bite was delicious, elegant and melted in your mouth. Even though it was such a different concept (small plates, passed apps and a couple of stations) we got so many compliments. Everyone described our wedding as the best wedding they’ve been to. We had a lot of fun that day and they made us feel like home with all the details and personalized gifts. I would recommend this venue without a doubt, and I hope we can work together again for future events.

The Wit was spectacular! We planned the wedding while living out of town, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The hotel has very hip decorations and doesn't look like the typical stuffy hotel. Our guests were delighted by the views and the comfort in their rooms and in the event spaces. Because we had so many guests coming in from out of town, the location of the hotel next to the train stops was very convenient. Upon checking in, we were greeted by numerous employees asking us what they could do to help, and it made us feel like royalty. The day of the wedding, the hotel provided extra unplanned-for space to keep the bride and groom from seeing each other before the ceremony. Hotel staff continued checking in on the bridal suite on the wedding day to make sure everyone was happy, comfortable, and calm! The food was AMAZING. Our catering manager even arranged for several of the bridal party to go up to the rooftop bar and skip the line after the reception was over. Many kudos to our catering manager Paul and our event manager Brittney for providing such wonderful service.

Great place for our New Year's Eve Wedding! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour on the ROOF, reception, and our wedding block all at theWit. Brittney Epstein, the Senior Social Catering Manager, was there for us throughout the entire planning process. Her team was incredibly accommodating, and available for all of our needs (and guests needs) throughout the weekend. The Mac-n-cheese bar, champagne toast (and ceremony champagne) and late night snack bar were guest favorites! I would definitely recommend this venue for anyone getting married in downtown Chicago. I felt like a princess all weekend and look forward to visiting them for dinners and on the ROOF!

My husband and I just got married on the Roof of theWit! We absolutely loved the gorgeous views from the 27th floor! The food and drinks were amazing, and the staff was so helpful with the planning process and all throughout the event. Britteny was our main contact and she was very responsive, helpful, and personable throughout the entire process. She and the rest of the staff worked hard to ensure that we and our guests had a fantastic experience! Our weekend was truly magical! This venue gets my highest recommendation.

If you want a fairytale wedding you read about in a book or watch in a movie, then you have to choose the theWit. We looked at every well known venue in Chicago and the suburbs, but once we seen the theWit, we knew it was the place for us. The venue is gorgeous! The rooftop cocktail hour kept our guests in amazement the entire time. The ballroom was elegant, modern, and the view of state street at night is pure Chicago!! You know you have a great wedding when nearly a week later I hear from family and friends and they tell me that it was the greatest wedding they have ever been too! Friends tell us they have never seen Chicago from the rooftop, it was an experience of their life. The venue is perfect, but more importantly is the customer service, which is top notch. It all starts with Brittney Epstein, the Senior Catering Manager at theWit and her staff. The first time we met Brittney, she made us feel so important because she simply listened to what we were looking for and made every accomadation we requested. Brittney picked up the phone when I called, followed up promptly and walked us through the entire process. Brittney became a friend of ours for two years and made us her top priority. As for the food, simply perfect! The steak was Phenominal! The chef prepares the food on site and it is by far the best food I've ever had at a wedding, and to be honest, better than many city restaurants. We simply love theWit and would not change one thing. We had the perfect wedding! I highly recommend theWit to anyone looking to plan the wedding of their dreams. Thank you theWit!

My husband and I had our wedding and reception at theWit this past October and it was absolutely amazing! One of the best things about having your wedding here (other than the stunning views of the city and the delicious food) is Brittney Epstein. This awesome lady helped me through EVERY step of planning our big day and I have no idea what we would have done without her. She is SO organized and a total professional. There were times I thought I was going to have a full on bridezilla moment and but she always kept me calm. Thanks to Brittney, theWit team, and our incredible vendors we had a gorgeous wedding that went off without a hitch!

I would highly recommend the Wit Hotel in Chicago to anyone looking for a gorgeous venue for their wedding and an exciting place for their guests to visit and stay. Our hotel suites were modern and spacious for our daughter's wedding. The staff was very attentive and professional to all our guests. There was an elegant ceremony in the Wilde Ballroom, followed by cocktails and a reception on the Roof Patio. The wedding guests were in awe of not only the wedding space, but the spectacular views of the city around them. The Senior Social Catering Manager, Brittney Epstein , went above and beyond for my daughter and her fiance, to give them the wedding of their dreams. While planning a wedding can be overwhelming to many, Brittney was a pleasure to work with and encouraged us to have fun with it. The wedding was just perfect and we could not have done it without her. The Wit Hotel in Chicago is lucky to have her and so will anyone looking to have their special day there. From start to finish theWit made every detail of our wedding perfect. The customer service of all of the staff from bellhops to banquets to the Chef was stellar, Security & Housekeeping too! Our family & friends are still raving about the mac n cheese bar, the cake, & all of the delicious food & creative desserts. The rooftop made for epic photos & a modern wedding atmosphere that I know cannot be beat. Brittney Epstein the Senior Social Catering Manager made us feel loved, welcome, & top priority throughout the entire planning process & event. She is always quick to respond & super easy to work with. We love theWIT & highly recommend it to anyone looking to plan the wedding truly of your dreams. Not one complaint from our entire (some of them hard to please) :) family.

ABOVE & BEYOND what we dreamed about!!! The Wit and its staff made our special evening on 6-11-16 something that our guests will be talking about for years to come. The food was knock your socks off (hats off to their amazing chef and her creations), the service was incredible from the moment you arrive at the front door to the second you leave. There are a few very special people that I would like to highlight for exceptional service. Brittney Epstein Senior Social Catering Manager is a pleasure to work with she really listened to what we wanted and what our vision was. She helped make it come to life and was there making sure every detail fit into place the night of the event. Her attention to detail and coordination between staff with the help of Paul the day/night of our wedding and the multiple locations Wit Rooftop (cocktail hour) the Ballroom (reception) and all our outside vendors allowed us to enjoy or big day and relax knowing that they would make sure it was all perfect and it truly was. We are so grateful for everything they did and have memories that will last a lifetime thanks to The Wit and the staff.

Our wedding ceremony and reception was held at theWit on May 7, and it was honestly the most perfect day! The staff at theWit was outstanding and exceeded our expectations, making sure everything flowed seamlessly from start to finish. Brittney Epstein was absolutely AMAZING! She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with every detail that went into the day/night. We held our cocktail hour on ROOF and our reception was in the third floor ballroom. The venue is gorgeous and views are absolutely breathtaking. We still receive compliments (almost 5 months later) on how beautiful our wedding was. Thank you to theWit for helping us achieve the wedding of our dreams! I would highly recommend theWit!

TheWit is absolutely, hands down the #1 venue in all of downtown Chicago to get married. Believe me, I searched this city high and low and once arriving to theWit, the service I received immediately from their front desk employees and their social manager Brittney, were bar none. I am from out of town and figured that planning a wedding from out of town would be a HUGE hassle and I would never get exactly what I wanted, but the reality was exactly the opposite. Brittney handled every detail from smallest to the largest items I had on my list and everything went FLAWLESSLY!! I was also nervous about the venues size because we were going to have around 200 people, but the team at theWit set everything up SO well, everyone was able to eat and drink in peace, and yet everyone was still out on the dance floor the entire night. If you are looking for a wedding venue in Chicago, look no further. The service and quality of everything here (ESPECIALLY the food- it was truly remarkable) are the best you will find in the city. Take my word for it!

Our Wedding was in October of 2015 at the ROOF of TheWit Hotel. From the very beginning of the planning process, we had a fantastic lead in Brittney, the hotel's point of contact for us. She took the time to learn our vision for both the ceremony and reception, and executed it to perfection. Yes, our entire event was perfection! Our guests raved about our afternoon wedding and commented it was one of the best weddings they have ever experienced. A lot credit goes towards the fantastic food and beverage (both were abundant) service; the bartenders and staff made sure there were no lines at the bar, the food was easily accessible and presented beautifully. As for the venue, we had a late morning ceremony followed by the 1PM reception, both at the ROOF. The incredible views of the city combined with a glimpse of Lake Michigan and the Millennium Park, as well as the brilliant sun bathing the dance floor created a surreal, fairy tale-like celebration. Brittney's thoughtfulness and attention to detail were incredibly helpful - from the valet service and guest escort to our favorite bottle of wine in our room and the final dance song selection - the personal touches we did not even expect, were there. The "Hangover" balcony was open and was a huge bonus for the city-view pictures and additional space to hang out.

The WIT did an amazing job coordinating my wedding ceremony and reception. Everything was perfect!

We had our ceremony on the ROOF Lounge and the reception at Cibo Matto. The venue is really pretty, but you should keep in mind there is a 20% gratuity, 4% administration fee, and about 11.5% tax in addition to the minimum charge.

Our event coordinator, Brittney, is very easy to work with and helped us a lot throughout the planning process.

The food was excellent, and we were able to make our own dual plate with chef's approval. During the food tasting, we picked chicken, short rib, and the dual plate of beef and prawn; however, we didn't like the chicken and the dual plate beef was not impressive; however, everyone loved the short rib, so we built our own dual plate with short rib and prawn. Everyone at the wedding loved the food! I was told it's one of the best wedding food some guests had (they've been to more than 5 weddings).

Another thing to note is the venue won't handle anything that's not provided by the venue. They won't put your own wedding favors on the table, so you need to have some one do that for you.

Overall, it was a very lovely venue!

We celebrated our 25th Anniversary with a party for friends and family in the Cibo Matto room. A small group of 50 can be easily overlooked, not at TheWit. From our first conversation with Brittney Epstein to the moment we checked out, we felt that we were her priority. Our guests came from 6 states in addition to locals and everyone commented on the quality of everything from the rooms, to the staff, to the amazing food, thank you Chef Leah!! Have cocktails on the roof and do a Sunday morning brunch, well worth it. Look no further, TheWit has it all including location!

After looking at dozens of venues, we stumbled upon theWit and we knew it was perfect! Brittney Epstein was our main point of contact and provided outstanding service from the point in which we reached out through the brunch after the wedding. We couldn't speak more highly of our experience. She also provided a great list of recommended vendors that we utilized.

theWit truly provides a unique and 'city' experience for you and your guests. We wanted to have a venue that truly showcased the city and theWit did just that. Our reception was in Cibo Matto so this added yet another look and feel to the day.

There weren't any unforeseen costs with the venue like many others we saw - particularly when you have to bring in a caterer, etc.

The rooms were large and worked perfectly for getting ready.

We recently had our NYE wedding reception at theWit. It's crazy to think that the day has already come and gone and this time last year, we finalized the decision to have our reception at this hotel after considering other hotels including The Thompson, Westin, Langham, and Sofitel. Absolutely ZERO regrets.

The Senior Social Catering Manager, Brittney Epstein, is a true professional. Several months leading up to our wedding she worked effortlessly to make every experience of the planning process seamless and enjoyable. Our tasting was carefully executed and so delightful to experience. Chef Liya was outstanding in all the appetizers, entrees, and desserts we selected which made us so excited for everyone to try the food on the day of our wedding.

For our reception, we chose to do cocktails at Roof lounge which provided the perfect backdrop for our guests to admire the city my husband and I fell in love in. The reception took place in the Wilde Ballroom located on the 3rd floor. The space was just right for our 125 guests. We were able to space the tables comfortably as well as add lounge seating on the south end of the ballroom. Brittney quarterbacked the whole evening with grace and composure. She greeted my husband and I at the lobby as soon as we arrived. She accompanied us to Roof for pictures prior to cocktails and recognized that I hadn't eaten all day, she was a lifesaver and brought me Kind bars to snack on as well as my own appetizer platter. She even gave us champagne to sip on while we took pictures. Her professionalism went beyond what was expected; Brittney truly made us feel like a million bucks that day and it would not have been possible to enjoy the reception as much as we did had it not been for Brittney and the sincere kindness and attentiveness she embodied.

We had recently our ceremony - Aug 17th 2013 and reception at the Wit Hotel. We are so disipointed with a quality of this hotel!!!!!
They shouldn't have so many stars as a high hotel. Service and our wedding coordinator Antoinette was terrible. They are not worth your money.There is better places for your special day! We had a really bad experience with them/ bad service, power went out during our reception!!! mistake with our entree food,our guests were complaining a lot for a long wait for coffe etc/ The place is nice and modern but not worth the price they ask for.Trust me I am not the person that likes to complain but I just want to warn couples like us who were very excited to have a wedding at the Wit hotel. What a bummer!!!!Look for a better place:)
