TWS were the most amazing wedding planners!

Working with Meris, Bri and The Whole Shebang team was everything I could've asked for and more. From Day 1, they have been organized, provided trustworthy recommendations for other vendors, jumped in to help out in a pinch, and most importantly, they've have been kind, considerate, and an absolute joy to work with.

I thoroughly enjoyed the wedding planning process over the past year+ in large part to Meris and her team. The app/software they use was awesome and I loved getting in there and being as involved in the process as I wanted to be. We never felt silly asking questions and they were always patient with us - they're the pros and we wanted their guidance!

Our wedding was impacted by Hurricane Helene, but Meris and her team went above and beyond to help get us back on track, navigate those impacts, and ensure everything continued on smoothly. I truly could not have done that without them.

Our wedding day was the best, more relaxing day and so much of that was because my husband and I knew Meris and her team had it all under control. I didn't feel stressed at all and there was actually nothing went wrong that day! We had the best vendor team, and so many of them came from the recommendation of Meris and Bri.

I wish I could work with them over and over they were that great. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, thoughtful, kind, organized, on-top-of-it wedding planner! The Whole Shebang Events is the best.

Maggie & Thomas' Wedding Review

We absolutely LOVED working with Meris and her team at The Whole Shebang!! I cannot recommend them enough. When I knew I wanted to get married in the area, a friend said the first thing I needed to do was set up a consultation call with Meris. She was absolutely right and from then on, we signed on with the Whole Shebang and felt taken care of every step of the way. Meris had incredible vendor recommendations for photographer, cake, hair and make up, AV, etc. so booking the "big things" early on in the wedding planning process felt easy. We were able to trust these recommendations fully and it was so comforting to know that each of these vendors worked together weekend after weekend! Meris and her team are the perfect balance of professional while also being warm and caring as you go through the wedding planning process. One call about a month out, I said to her "I feel like silly little things are keeping me up at night" and she took the time to hear what was going through my brain to ease my mind. We LOVED working with Meris and highly recommend her if you are getting married in the mountains of North Carolina!!

Detailed wedding planner

My daughter chose Blowing Rock for her wedding ceremony. Meris with The Whole Shebang came highly recommended and I can certainly see why. Her and her teams attention to detail was such a blessing to me. This was my 4th wedding and the only one with a planner due to location. So I knew more than I wanted, but Meris and Lauren eased any pressure or anxiety that I had. From our initial meeting to the last; we talked, text, met and zoomed when any concerned, questions or great reports came about. Truly the best experience for me, my daughter and our whole family. If you are getting married in the High Country, run, don't walk, to book The Whole Shebang

Meris was the first vendor that we booked, and I could not have imagined navigating the wedding planning process without her. We planned a wedding halfway across the country and it was a breeze thanks to her help. Her communication is direct and prompt, and we were never left wondering what we needed to do next. She has an excellent system for staying organized, always remembering the little details and keeping on top of timelines and deadlines. The service truly exceeded our expectations, as she coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors, even filling out our rental order, which would have taken us hours to do on our own. When it came to the week and day of the wedding, I had zero worries because I knew Meris would be there to resolve any surprises or problems. The weather was very unpredictable on our wedding day, and Meris provided open communication during the morning about our options for rain plans while I was able to enjoy the morning with my bridesmaids. Additionally, her team (including Lauren and her husband Paul), went above and beyond with bustling my dress, fixing a leak in the tent, and ensuring that we got snacks and drinks at cocktail hour, and even made a plate for us for dinner. We were truly able to just show up and relax and enjoy our day thanks to Meris. We could not have ever dreamed up such an amazing wedding without her expertise and guidance, and the best part was how fun she made the process. My fiance and I truly looked forward to every planning call with Meris. If you are on the fence at all about hiring a planner, I would absolutely recommend Meris and her team!

The High Country's Best Planner

If I could give one piece of advice to newly engaged couples it would be to hire Meris and her team asap! Meris made planning our dream wedding in under five months an absolute breeze. Meris is always available to answer any question and her years of expertise and contacts in the business are invaluable. Every vendor we worked with knew The Whole Shabang team already and every detail was executed perfectly. Meris keeps everyone calm and organized throughout the whole process so you don’t have to worry about any detail or timeline. Her team handled everything so all we had to do was show up and enjoy every minute. I cannot recommend Meris and her team enough!

Best Decision of all Vendors

I cannot explain how thankful I am that Lauren was our wedding planner/coordinator. We hired Lauren to start a couple weeks before the wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made of the entire wedding. My wife (who chose this company) and Lauren were in constant communication leading up to our big day. I was able to come in and out of any convo or planning with ease but I thought I would just get in the way. When it got to the rehearsal Lauren knew everything that would be happening the next day. She brought in the positivity seeing as it was a 100% chance of rain and made the mood light and optimistic. The day of the wedding was an absolute breeze. Anything that popped up, anything we needed, anything whatsoever that was something we could handle, Lauren made sure it was her priority and not ours so that we could worry less and enjoy our wedding. I could literally not rave enough about how thankful we were to have her as our coordinator. If this company comes close to what Lauren brought to the table for our wedding I would/will recommend this company to every person I possibly know that needs a planner. As a business owner myself, this was worth every penny for the experience we received.

The perfect day!!

Meris and her team were absolutely phenomenal throughout our entire wedding planning process and on the day of our wedding. Before our wedding, Meris was in contact with all of our vendors the month of, created a weekend timeline, and provided great advice throughout the entire planning process. Meris made sure that every detail was taken care of on our day and she and her team were totally flexible and adaptable as it poured rain throughout multiple parts of our day (including our ceremony!) They jumped into action to make sure everything was okay during our day. I didn't even know it was raining for quite some time as I was getting ready because they had everything under control! Meris and her team were essential in taking the stress away on our day and making sure we could enjoy every minute. I cannot recommend Meris and her team enough!!

Wonderful experience

Meris is so organized and thorough. We valued her guidance in suggesting ways that would make the event run smoothly - and she suggested fun touches we hadn't considered. A Dream Come True

All we can say is hire The Whole Shebang and your wedding will be everything you ever dreamed of and more. Meris and her team are incredible at listening to what you have envisioned and making it come to life. Meris describes herself as a type 'A' personality, but the only thing that comes across as type 'A' about her is that she never stops working. She is incredibly calm, positive, organized, authentic, and professional. She makes you feel like your wedding is the only thing she is focusing on even though you know after working with her that she is the epitome of a multi-tasker.
Many of our guests commented on how smoothly everything flowed, and that is 100% due to The Whole Shebang team. Meris handled the schedule, making sure that all the vendors were well informed of the timing of events, and honestly if anything went sideways at our wedding we are not aware of it so that can only mean that Meris handled it. All of the vendors in the High Country know and respect Meris,and when they found out she was handling our wedding you could literally feel their relief.
We had the most amazing wedding day. We were able to focus on our love for each other and the excitement of sharing our day with our guests. If you want a Cinderella dream come true wedding do yourself a favor, hire The Whole Shebang Team and relax. Meris lives to make your day as special as the one you have dreamt about your entire life.

I hired The Whole Shebang in the fall of 2019 for my June 2021 wedding as a wedding planner. Meris was great from our initial consult all the way throughout the pandemic as we planned through a ton of uncertainty. Last-minute elopement help that literally saved the day!

After we postponed our wedding due to COVID, my fiance and I decided to elope on our original date. Two weeks before we tied the knot, we called Meris and asked for her help planning and creating a beautiful picnic "reception" for ourselves and our four guests. Despite the time constraints and challenges posed by executing a socially distant celebration during a pandemic, Meris sprang to action and helped us scope a ceremony and picnic spot, design a menu, find a designer to work with, and create an experience and celebration we'll never forget. She was responsive, kind, creative, accommodating, and dependable – we are so glad that had her help and would absolutely recommend her for your wedding or elopement!

Meris is the best!

Meris was absolutely amazing from our very first phone call. Not only did she do the pre-planning logistics for our rehearsal dinner and wedding, keeping track of every detail, she executed everything on-site. Meris makes things happen. She has incredible insight on everything from venues to vendors in the high country and was a valuable resource when it came to wedding etiquette and creative problem solving. She spent many nights and weekends during the planning phase on the phone with us, talking through logistics and helping us brainstorm ideas. We planned our wedding from another country, but we always felt like we were in the best hands having Meris as our planner. Our wedding wouldn’t have been such a success without her. Meris did so much for us on and in preparation for our wedding day. She coordinated with all of our vendors, organized vendor meals, coordinated shuttles, brought a steamer for the bridemaids’ dresses, pinned all of the groomsmen’s flowers on, bustled my dress for me, placed seating cards, helped us find a missing suitcase, delivered flowers to our brunch the next day, among so many other things. She did so much for us. The team she brought on-site was absolutely amazing. They made everything so seamless. It was surprisingly hot on our wedding day and one of her assistants offered to fan me before I walked down the aisle, calmed me down with a breathing technique and later helped me use the bathroom in my dress! Meris, we are so grateful for all that you have done for us to give us the wedding of our dreams. Thank you for rolling with all of our ideas and changes and for being the best wedding planner we could have ever hoped for! We wish we could do it all again just to be able to work with you one more time!

The Best Wedding Planner!!!

It is hard to put into words how amazing Meris and her team really are!! Throughout the entire process Meris was organized, calm, and always open/available to answer any questions. Our wedding day went so unbelievably smooth because of Meris and her team. We didn't have to drop a finger on the big day and we owe that all to her! Meris and her team always made sure my husband and I had everything we needed (food, drinks, etc) throughout the entire night. Meris and The Whole Shebang are the BEST!

We hired The Whole Shebang for their full services in planning our wedding weekend. Maris Gantt not only coordinated our wedding day, but also our welcome reception and rehearsal dinner for our guests. There were so many details, locations and vendors involved - we could have never pulled it off without Meris and her amazing team!

My husband and I were planning our big day from out-of-state, and needed someone who could represent us in the High Country. Maris has strong relationships with vendors in the area that was an incredible resource for us (she not only knows a “guy” but also the brother of the “guy” and his best friend who owns the bar who also has a car service. You get the idea).

We also felt from the beginning, Meris was someone who understood our vision. Her down to earth nature, joyful spirit and open mind made us feel confident that she could execute our wedding plan.

Planning a wedding requires countless decisions to be made. Meris guided us through that process with charm, confidence and lightness of heart. Meris made herself available consistently over the course of the year and was always happy to listen to our new ideas or our latest concerns. She took away our stress and reassured us that everything would come together, which was an invaluable feeling for us (as you can imagine planning a wedding is stressful!). This quality is not to be underrated! For example, we decided to add table runner four days before the wedding and she showed up the day of with them in her car, pressed and ready to go.

Meris (and the people on her staff) have warm, kind spirits and tenacious can-do attitudes. When our day finally came, her team was incredibly thorough, and made sure all our needs were met. Our wedding weekend was more than we could have ever expected, and have Meris to thank for all she did for us to make our day truly unforgettable.

Obviously, we could not recommend Meris and The Whole Shebang team highly enough!!

Truly the BEST wedding coordinator!

We only wish we could put into words how happy we are about our choice to ask Meris Gantt and The Whole Shebang team to help us make our daughter's mountain wedding dream come true. Everything about the experience - email conversations, planning phone calls with the bride in Phoenix, questions about vendors, decorating, and keeping track of a million details - turned out to be doable and pleasant because of Meris and her kind, thorough expertise. We purchased the full package so we could navigate all the details with help, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. On the day of the wedding at Overlook Barn, Meris and her team did everything seamlessly. Her calm manner and attention to detail allowed us to enjoy every moment. When we realized we might need to make a last minute rain plan, Meris explained the options and helped us think through how we might handle the unexpected. When the sun broke through the hour before the wedding, The Whole Shebang team celebrated with us and then lead us through each step of the ceremony process. Our daughter, son-in-law, family, and guests could not stop saying how perfect and fun everything was. We owe so much of that to Meris and her team. We will always be thankful for this amazing experience.

I can't even express how happy I am that I chose Meris and her team at The Whole Shebang for the coordination of my wedding weekend. My mother-in-law hired Meris for the rehearsal dinner planning and I chose TWS Month-Of planning contract and we were both so happy with everything. Both days went incredibly smoothly (if there was a "fire" she had to put out I don't even know about it, which is amazing!). Meris is truly a joy to work with and I felt like she became part of my family over the past few months! She has a fantastic relationship with all the vendors in the Boone/Blowing Rock area (I knew I'd made the right choice when I told vendors who my coordinator was and they immediately said "I LOVE Meris!") and she worked so well with everyone, which in my case was a bit more difficult because one of our biggest vendors were family members of mine. She is somehow laid back but also super on top of things and put everyone at ease with her competence all weekend. Meris, I can't even say how much I appreciate everything you did. THANK YOU!! Working with Meris was one of the best decisions we made during our two-year long engagement. The month leading up to the wedding was the calmest I felt during the whole wedding planning process, and it had everything to do with her. After our first meeting a month before the event when we went over pages of notes for the wedding day (she brought up every single thing I had thought of over my whole two years of planning during that one meeting, and answered every question I had with ease) I knew that everything was going to be fine on the actual day because she and her team were on it. Even though I had planned a lot of the wedding myself and felt like I wanted to do as much as I could to help on the day of, I would not have been able to enjoy my wedding without hiring Meris and her team. Everything had to be set up and taken down in one day at our venue, and it was done so flawlessly and effortlessly: you notice them there because they are awesome and super nice, but at the same time you don't notice all the work they are doing behind the scenes! It's true that you really do feel like yours is the only wedding Meris is working on in the weeks leading up to the event because she is super responsive and also has a very calming presence (and it is sad when the wedding is over and you don't get to do Google hangout calls with Meris every week). Thanks to Meris and her team of "design savvy worker bees", my family, fiance and I were able to be totally present in the day, and that was invaluable!

I cannot rave enough about Meris and her staff with The Whole Shebang! There is no way my wedding would have been as amazing as it was had it not been for them. I honestly didn't realize how much I would need a planner until I saw how many moving parts there actually are to the big day. I got married in Banner Elk but live two hours away in Charlotte. That, combined with working full time, didn't leave a whole lot of time to plan and research. Meris was incredible with her recommendations and every single one of our vendors were not only cost-effective, but they did an AMAZING job! I never would have found my photographer, caterer, hair and make-up team, florist, and more, if it weren't for her. The day-of ran so incredibly smooth and I felt like I had to worry about absolutely nothing. I never thought a timeline would be so important but it truly is and the team executes it just how you want it done (and they're flexible too!). It was wonderful knowing everything was being taken care of behind the scenes so I could just enjoy the day. TRUST me when I say that hiring a planner is worth every single penny and will in fact SAVE you money in the long run. Meris and her team are the folks to do it. My wedding day was perfection and it had everything to do with them.

Let me start by saying that I am the most indecisive and whimsical person EVER. I change my mind 100 times about everything, and I'm pretty difficult to keep up with as I go off on a whim naturally. (oh...something shiny!) I knew I met my match when I met Meris. She is always ready for any and everything, and always stayed ahead of the game. She easily coordinated difficult family members and children in such a graceful and professional manner--her presence at my wedding seemed as if she were a long time friend of the family always ready to give a helping hand. I couldn't have gotten through this entire experience of wedding planning without her. She has more of an impact on the couples she helps get married than she could probably ever give herself credit for. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for taking such good care of us on the best day of our lives!

Meris and her team truly made our wedding day one of the best days of our lives. It was the perfect day, and we give Meris and The Whole Shebang 100% of the credit.

Living 7 hours away from the wedding venue, we completely entrusted Meris with all of the details of our wedding, and she did not disappoint! She allowed us to be as involved/removed as we wanted with all of the decisions throughout the planning process. She was receptive to all of our ideas, but had no trouble making decisions or steering us in the right direction when we were less resolute (which was often!) We would have been completely lost without her. Throughout the planning process, Meris was calm, informative, thoughtful, responsive, and just fun to talk to. We’re going to miss our phone calls with her!

Meris and her team truly made our wedding day one of the least stressful and most enjoyable days ever. We were able to completely relax and enjoy the day with our friends and families, which was the most important aspect to us on our wedding day. From bringing all of the bridesmaids lunch, to sewing my bustle back together after it broke, to offering to take our dogs back to the rental house after photos - Meris and her team went above and beyond, and we are forever grateful.

All of our wedding guests made sure to tell us how much they loved Meris and her staff, and how calm and attentive they all were while ensuring the entire day ran smoothly. We highly recommend Meris and The Whole Shebang and don’t know how anybody could have a wedding without them!

Meris stuck by my side during two years of crazy wedding hiccups. I knew I would need her from day one, but the value of having her calm spirit around really started to sink in at my rehearsal. Between dealing with big personalities, cancellations, and super hot/stormy weather, I am 100% sure I would have cried for half my wedding day had Meris not been there with solutions at every turn. Vendors, family members, and guests have all complimented that everything looked perfect and was run so smoothly, most of them crediting Meris and Rachael by name. Rightfully so, as everything I pictured in my mind for my wedding day turned out perfectly. I would recommend Meris and TWS any day and have never been so happy with an investment! Kelsey Fidis from The Whole Shebang did a fantastic job for us as a wedding planner. Meris Gantt connected us with her after our initial conversation, in which Meris gave me great suggestions for a caterer, photographer, DJ, and transportation company. Kelsey made the day so easy for us from start to finish. She picked up the flowers and decorations from us early in the day and had the venue set up for us before we got there, and it looked perfect. Her staff was wonderful to work with - they were there when we needed them but out of the way and behind the scenes. When we ran out of red wine, she sent one of her staff to the store to restock. At the end of the day, her staff loaded our cars with everything that needed to go - I didn't lift a finger. Prior to the wedding day, Kelsey was very willing to accommodate our ideas and made suggestions that made everything flow seamlessly. I can heartily recommend The Whole Shebang as wedding planners to any bride in the High Country.

Wow, when Meris plans, you're in for the best event you could have ever imagined. Not only was she incredibly friendly, flexible, enthusiastic, and attentive, she executed my 200+ person wedding so well that my new family (all high military ranking officers) commented on how it was the smoothest and most efficient event they'd ever been to! Which earned me brownie points. Meris is no-fuss, no hassle, and seriously the nicest person. Everyone in the high country loves working with her and it's a true testiment to the friendship you're bound to build with her in the process of planning your wedding. I cannot recommend her enough. We are still so in awe of the wedding Meris put together for us last month. Hiring her was probably the best decision we made during the planning process and whatever success our wedding can be considered single-handedly falls on her and her team's shoulders. Our venue was 2.5 hours from our home, so it was technically a destination wedding. I only met in-person with Meris once during the planning process because of this distance but I felt so well taken care of. Under her "month of" package, she was available to us by phone and email the entire month prior to our big day and I used every bit of that time with her that I respectfully could. We had weekly phone meetings to go over EVERYTHING: what had changed, which vendors had been paid and who remained, any snags I was having trouble deciding on or securing, the decor plan, etc... She built a detailed wedding weekend schedule that we distributed to family and friends and she called all vendors the week before to confirm load in, drop off times, final invoice totals, etc... And probably most importantly, I didn't deal with a single logistical item the day of our wedding which was worth her rate right there. Meris and her team of assistants decorated the entire venue, they set up the tables, centerpieces, and placecards, coordinated delivery of all materials and vendors, helped guests find their seats, paid all remaining vendors for us, kept us comfortably on schedule through out the day, cleaned up after the reception and so many other things I'm sure I have no idea her team handled for us. Her positive attitude and laid back demeanor are such a breath of fresh air for planning an event that at times can be stressful. And she is so great at helping you stay focused on the big picture and not getting caught up in the details that she can handle for you. She set the tone for our entire wedding weekend (she even helped me find tablecloths for our rehearsal dinner!) and we are eternally grateful to her.

We really cannot say enough GREAT things about Meris and her team! We do not live in the area so we put our full trust in her and she never let us down. Her communication was great, she was always quick to respond, honest, and super attentive in all aspects. The Whole Shebang is truly what made my wedding day possible. Meris calmed all the nerves before the wedding (mother of the bride and groom included!), directed the day wonderfully, and made sure I and my groom had time to sneak away so we could enjoy our yummy food. She not only was incredibly organized, thoughtful, professional and punctual; she was so enjoyable to be around and work with. I met Meris on a whim when she showed me her house that I was considering renting, and I am so thankful that she informed me of the wedding services the Whole Shebang offered. Meris and her team were amazing and my husband I would not have been able to have such a perfect night without their help! I lived in a different state while planning our Boone wedding and Meris could not have been more helpful. She recommended great vendors and was focused in on the style and presence we wanted for our dream day. I worked with her for almost a year leading up to the wedding and she was able to keep me on track while I was preoccupied with grad school. Even though The Whole Shebang does many weddings throughout the year (ours was during peak wedding season!), she made it seems as though you're the only one she works with and is ALWAYS available. They coordinated all the vendors prior to and on the day of our wedding, worked so hard so that we were able to enjoy and relax during the day of, and made sure everything ran smoothly. I could not have been happier with Meris and her team! They made my wedding absolutely perfect. Meris went above and beyond during the whole planning process. I was planning my wedding from abroad and wouldn't have trusted anyone but Meris to be my eyes and ears in North Carolina. She was responsive, creative, and an absolute blast! Meris was wonderful to work with- I live about three hours away from Blowing Rock!She helped to tie up all the loose ends and make sure that all planning aspects were covered!! She was great with responding to emails and was willing to meet with me when I was in town! Meris is amazing to work with, and I could have never done it without her. She made the whole wedding planning experience extremely stress free and enjoyable. She handled everything up until the day of with such professionalism and grace, and was so fun to work with. I live out of state, and she provided vendor suggestions and helped with every step of planning process. She let me be as involved with all the small details that I wanted to be, or stepped in and took control on anything I needed. Working the Andrea at The Whole Shebang was one of the best decisions we made involving our wedding! I was not looking forward to wedding planning, but Andrea made it super easy. She help narrow down the decisions I had to make and always provided great recommendations regarding vendors. Andrea was always responsive to my emails, texts, and calls and I believe went above and beyond in regards to contact with my vendors. My husband and I have discussed time and time again how Meris was the best investment we made in planning our wedding. Many brides describe their wedding day as stressful and exhausting; ours was exactly the opposite, and that is 100% thanks to Meris’ help and involvement along the way.

Meris was intricately involved in every detail of our big day – from securing the venue and dealing with related issues that arose along the way, to recommending local vendors who were professional and worked within our budget, to helping us determine the timeline of events. Day of, her team ensured that everything flowed smoothly, that wedding party/families were in the appropriate places at the right times, that my husband and I knew when it was time to cut the cake, etc.

Meris is genuine, charismatic, and professional. She is type A and detailed oriented, and impressively balances it all without in any way being overwhelmed by the details. And what I appreciate most about Meris is her calming presence; not fussy or dramatic, but professional and proactive. No matter the circumstances, regardless the issues that could/did arise, Meris and her team worked tirelessly to ensure that every detail was perfect. And they did so with a smile, a calm tone, and a “don’t worry, this is all going to work out perfectly” attitude.

It alleviates day-of stress to know that there is a seasoned professional on site to take care of all of the little (and big!) details, so you don’t have to worry about them and can focus on soaking in every single precious moment. Our wedding day was so special, so effortless, so joyful, so perfect. And we owe a world of thanks to Meris for making sure it flowed so smoothly and could be that way.

I honestly can't even imagine planning a wedding without Meris. She was an absolute joy to work with and made everything seem so easy and enjoyable. I have heard many horror stories about planning a wedding, but our experience could not have been more fun and that is in large part to Meris. She was always on top of everything and made sure that we were covering our basis so that we wouldn't be hit with any big surprises. My Mom and I constantly talked about how she was the best money we spent for the wedding, and she was. Such a great value for the peace of mind that she gives you! Meris, Andrea and Paul from The Whole Shebang are truly incredible. Their name is accurate in that they will facilitate "The Whole Shebang" and they certainly did just that. Two years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Meris as she coordinated my sister's wedding. When I got engaged less than a year later, she was one of my first phone calls. When my family and I were discussing vendors, having Meris and her staff there was not negotiable. My sister's wedding wouldn't have been possible without them, and neither would ours. Throughout my year of engagement, The Whole Shebang staff has been incredibly helpful and available to answer questions, give feedback, check and confirm reservations with other vendors and organize the perfect wedding day. The Whole Shebang was absolutely wonderful to work with! I contracted them for "day of" planning but received so much more. From the moment we signed the contract (4-5 months before the wedding) both Meris and Andrea were completely accessible to me. I cannot express with enough potent, wonderful words how amazing the Whole Shebang was. I came to Meris a mere two months before my wedding, desperately looking for help. I thought that I could do it all myself and realized very late in the game that I couldn't. We talked for a while and was so kind to take me on as a client. But that was just the beginning.... She never once hesitated to not only help with our needs and suggestions but also did not sugar coat anything. She was honest, fair and understanding. I knew that when she said she would do something, she would do it. I was not the most organized of brides and helped to keep me on track and put my all over the place thoughts together into actual reality. When it came down to the few days before the wedding she really pulled through. She no only kept myself and my husband on track but all of the crazy, wedding party and family. She kept me calm and without worry on the day of the wedding. I mostly worked with Meris but on the day of I was able to meet her wonderful team. Cody and Andrea joined Meris' rock star rankings that day. Her team went above and beyond with the responsibilities they took on. They made me smile, calmed me down in a few weak moments and kept the entire group in good spirits and on-time. I only know a small fraction of what they did that day but know it extended beyond. A few days after the wedding I even missed Meris and her team because I truly felt we had become friends and just bride and wedding planners. I received many compliments on Meris and her team from my family and friends that worked with them and from the other vendors. They love working with her and it shows. I know that I waited until the last minute for many of my vendors like rentals, flowers etc and I believe that they came through because they knew Meris and her work ethic. I can't thank Meris, Cody, Andrea and the Whole Shebang team enough for their help and comfort through this crazy process...

The Whole Shebang was wonderful! Meris was our coordinator and I'm convinced that if you want a beautiful, stress-free and successful wedding- YOU NEED TO HIRE HER NOW.

My husband and I were not wedding coordinator types; we were determined not to hire one. But we're from Brooklyn and planning a destination wedding in Boone was proving difficult. We heard about Meris from the Gamekeeper, the awesome restaurant that catered our wedding. Meris was cool, flexible, and hassle-free right from the first email.

She guided our steps and stuck to our vision through and through. Meris was able to contact and coordinate all our vendors (not as easy if you're planning from afar), send details/schedules to our wedding party and helpers, but most of all she ensured that we were blissfully happy and we able to enjoy our wedding every step of the way!

Literally, Meris was everywhere the day of, rounding up family and friends, making us plates of food so we could eat the delicious spread, paying vendors, and just ensuring that the flow of the wedding was seamless.

Meris was the best wedding investment we made! We recommend her without any reservations.

I went into the wedding planning process knowing that I'd need some help since I was planning an out of town event. From the moment I spoke with Meris on the phone, I knew she was the perfect planning partner for the kind of wedding we wanted to have.

Her #1 quality is that she really listens. She doesn't have her own agenda; she simply wants to help you execute YOUR vision perfectly. She listened to my ideas and provided me vendor recommendations that were totally on point. She was incredibly responsive to my calls, emails, and general neuroses.

The week before, especially the day before and the day of, she exuded a calm professionalism and sense of organization that made everyone around us feel calm. Every detail was perfectly executed. There was literally nothing that didn't EXCEED my expectations. Meris understands people–she gets quirky brides. I so appreciated her willingness to make anything we wanted happen.

I cannot recommend Meris highly enough. I literally could not have had my wedding without her invaluable help and insights. She was born to do this job and she is amazingly talented. She's the best!!

Meris was a dream to work with! She was always super responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and full of great ideas and guidance. I would not have wanted to work with anyone else to plan my wedding.

The team she put together for the wedding day was absolutely wonderful and stayed on top of EVERYTHING. They handled every little detail, but still kept me in the loop on the important stuff, so we didn't have to worry about a thing (even when a couple of our groomsmen had a few too many beers / Scotch before the ceremony!).

I HIGHLY recommend The Whole Shebang for your wedding planning needs. I could sing Meris's praises all day long :) She really is an absolute joy to work with!

The Whole Shebang and Meris were simply amazing. She made planning seem easy and asked all the right questions. She knows her stuff and made my day of so stress free. I had the most amazing, stress free, smoothe running wedding I could ever imagine. I am a huge procrastinator and decided to get married at my parents home. Most thought this was the perfect recipe for disaster. Not with Meris, she kept me on task and made the tasks simple. I never got overwhelmed with the pricess. Her organization made me calm. In the beginning of the planning process I did not have a clear vision of the event I wanted and I can say firmly there is NO WAY it would have come together without Meris. Oh and as a bonus try to get her husband Paul there if you can! He was super handy and stepped it up on the day of. I had an amazing experience and am sure my sister will be calling Meris when it's time for her big day.

I cannot say enough positive things about Meris! My wedding day was perfect! She was very affordable. She made my husband's boutonniere and my bouquet and it was just what I envisioned. Every detail plus was not missed, even down to the food and wine in our getaway car for late night snacking.

Meris was amazing to work with. She was professional. flexible, had a lot of ideas, and made our special day just perfect. I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of my wedding, because I knew she had it under control. She advised my husband and I to take "5 minutes together" after the ceremony, which was great advice. I will cherish that memory forever. I was overjoyed to have Meris do all of the wedding day make-up for me (the bride) and my mom. Probably the best money we spent! Meris was superwoman. She was so organized and helped us through each step of the evening, ensuring we got to spend time on the things we most wanted to do. As the mother of the bride living 3 hours from the venue, I was worried my daughter's wedding would be stressful. Hiring Meris was the smartest thing we could have done! She handled every crisis, gave us excellent suggestions and helped everything just fall into place! I was more relaxed at my own daughters wedding than I've been as a guest at others!

Meris was amazing! She was always there to bounce ideas off of and she went with me to vendor meetings even though they were not in the contract. She went above and beyond on the day of to make sure everything was perfect. The table settings were exactly how I envisioned them. It was also really nice that she made sure we got to eat during the reception and she packed some food for us to take home. We couldn't have done it without her!

Meris was very easy to work with and did a great job as our "weekend of" wedding coordinator. She got to know us and helped make sure everything was how we wanted it. A freak snow storm threw our outdoor wedding a little bit out of whack but Meris made sure everything looked as if it was planned to be inside.
