We had an incredible experience having our wedding at the Waldorf Chicago. The venue is perfect for an intimate wedding and the staff is more than accommodating!

I could go on forever about how AMAZING The Waldorf Astoria is. Whitney Dixon, Snr Catering Sales Manager, was my first point of contact and the minute I spoke to her I could feel myself relaxing. She was incredible...and I mean INCREDIBLE from start to finish. Always returned my calls promptly, and was on hand throughout for everything I needed and always with a wonderful attitude and a smile on her face. Not just Whitney, but every single member of staff I dealt with there made me feel extremely important and that my event was their highest priority. Food and beverage was very high quality, the presentation was superb and the feel of the hotel i.e. the decor and the cleanliness and facilities made me feel that everyone involved in the Waldorf Astoria really really cares about it. I can't wait to have an event here again...I'm trying to find excuses to...

We could NOT have done it without this exceptionally talented team. Samantha, Sarah and Ahmed went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless and perfect. Samantha was two hands on from the first time she welcomed us into the Waldorf till the day of our event, She did not miss a beat. Samantha was very attentive, professional and extremely hospitable. Our wedding was an unforgettable time of our lives and the Waldorf Family will forever be an iconic part of this memory. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

I am so incredibly happy that we selected The Waldorf Astoria for our wedding! It was definitely one of the best choices we made. My parents were very concern with the taste of the food and let me tell you EVERYTHING was delicious. All our guest were happy with their meals from vegetarians to vegans to meat lovers: EVERYONE loved it, even my most picky guests were raving about the food. I don't even have words to describe how delicious the cake was ! On top of it all the hotel is so beautiful and their service is flawless. My family and friends had such a good time. All the staff were amazing especially Samantha Newman (catering manager). The wedding would not be as memorable as it was if it weren't for her. She was ALWAYS available as a resource and constantly guided me through the whole wedding planning process. She is truly amazing. Extremely professional and so nice to work with. I am so grateful for her! If you are looking for a wedding venue do not hesitate to inquire about the Waldorf especially if it means you will be having Samantha on your team! Its definitely worth the money, You won't regret it!

We chose Waldorf because it simply is just the best wedding venue in Chicago! It's our dream spot! If your reception size is 150 or less, don't waste your time looking anywhere else! Samantha Newman, our main contact, was such a delight to work with! We had our wedding there back in 2016 and I can still remember everything that she and her team did for us from the first meeting on! We love their professionalism, passion for their work, flexibility, kindness and the smile! We felt welcomed and important, unlike other well-known venues that treat weddings like they were just another job/paycheck. The venue itself is just gorgeous and we were so happy to have chosen the venue (it's private, intimate and elegant), every corner you turn to can be a spot for wedding portraits. On top of everything else, they really put so much work/heart into their decoration, dynamic menu based your tastes, excellent wine selection and fabulous custom made wedding cake!! They respected our opinions and were 100% willing to work with us on every little detail. Everyone, from sales, catering, wine, chef, pastry chef, to wait-staff, made our wedding planning felt like a breath! It's a one-stop shop and you are guaranteed to have a perfect wedding when you choose Waldorf Astoria.

Ashley Ochse, Director of Catering and Events, was simply a rockstar!  Upon meeting Ashley at our menu tasting, I was immediately relieved by her warm smile, patient nature and tactical experience.  Pressed to identify key selections and specifications, I never once felt inconsideration from Ashley as she pushed towards the goal of making our day epic.  She acted above her job description and appeared, in my wedding inexperience, as also a wedding planner.  Ashley, continued to be available at to us and be flexible to our dreams and wishes, as often as they changed.  I'd describe a dying wish and she would whisk to the rescue with the master plan of execution.  The proof is in the day of pudding, with a ball of nerves and anxiety, Ashley delivered an impeccable day!  Literally FLAWLESS.  Like, seriously.  Upholding the standard expected of the Waldorf brand and presenting an exceptional quality of service!  Through the bridal suite preparations, and next day family brunch at the hotel (a last minute addition, compliments of Ashley's save the day toolkit), she carried our wedding décor right down to the brunch menus, which was a surprise I've not gotten to thank her for!  Ashley Ochse, etched a day of love from a string of one little detail to another with grace, professionalism and FUN!
