    Incredible

Lilly & Michelle at The Estate Yountville were so fantastic to work with. Every step of the way, they were attentive, helpful, flexible, and kind. We looked at quite a few venues in the Napa area, and we are thrilled that we chose this one.

    Limitless, beautiful Estate Yountville

The Estate Yountville is a stunning property with pristine gardens and multiple events spaces, both indoors and out. It the optimal place to host events, as guests have the opportunity to move through the entire venue, and to experience changing sights and experiences. First, the Pavilion is one space that actually feels like two, and is separated by a trickling fountain that runs the length of the space. The space is uniquely laid out so that ultimate customization is possible, so that weddings feel distinct and personalized. The Barrel room offers a slightly industrial vibe, and echoes the brink exterior inside with high ceilings and beautiful lighting fixtures. The Social is a modern farmhouse and is an entire experience in itself. The gorgeous interior is one of the prettiest indoor venues in the area and is a practical choice to beat the Napa Valley heat. All around are meticulously attended to gardens, trickling fountains, and convenience for guests! Ample parking, walking distance to lodging and steps away from Napa Valley's institutions like Bouchon, Ad Hoc, French Laundry. A gem for weddings and events.

The Estate Yountville - a gem!

The Estate Yountville is a gem of a property in the heart of the Napa Valley, tucked away in small town Yountville, CA. The beautifully manicured outdoor green space has two beautiful brick stage areas that can be used as wedding ceremony sites but they are surrounded with lots of other options for welcome areas, reception as well as dinner. I've had the privilege of seeing this space decorated many different ways over the years, it can really be dressed up any which way you can envision it!

Part of the property includes a new space called The Social which is a gorgeous modern barn with and outdoor bar and gathering area and a small private bridal room. This is a stunning space and can accommodate everything from casual gatherings, to corporate meetings and of course weddings. There is also an intimate space tucked away amongst the vines for elopements. I can't say enough good things about this gorgeous property!

    Gorgeous Wedding Location

We had out wedding at Vintage House and it was perfect. Julie did everything she could to make our experience great. She got us a spot at the bridal suite to make getting ready and photos more convenient and also made sure each of our requests were met, including getting a full-body mirror and arranging for transportation for our bridal party and photographer to nearby vineyards for photos. Both the venue and the hotel looked incredible. We had the perfect wedding and the perfect night there.

We had our wedding at the Vintage Estate, which is the property between the Vintage Inn and the Villagio Inn and Spa. The event was spectacular. The food was delicious, the service was exemplary, the event was everything we wanted and more. We had some special requirements (we wanted specific wines ordered for the event which required filters on the bottles, we had some modifications made to the standard menu and we wanted to bring in our own dessert) and they accommodated all of them. But I think the most notable thing about this property is the venue itself. It is beautiful. We had our entire wedding inside of the Pavilion tent and in the Barrel Room because it was winter and it was cold and rainy and the weather didn’t impact any of the aesthetics. Everything was stunningly beautiful. The Barrel Room with its candlelit ambiance is as sophisticated and romantic as it gets. The other big plus about this property is that if you book far enough in advance and negotiate a large enough room block up front (don’t skimp, get a big block), you and all of your guests can stay on property. Not only can everyone walk to the wedding but with the Vintage Inn and Villagio complimentary breakfast each morning, you can see all of your guests throughout your stay. My husband and I were jumping out of bed each morning (even though we were exhausted) to spend more time with our friends and family at breakfast. I know that no wedding can be perfect but this was as perfect as it gets!

The Vintage Estate and Villagio were absolutely amazing to work with and the venue was so beautiful I couldn't imagine getting married any where else. From the moment I contacted them they were quick to respond, helped me with any concerns or questions I had and made the entire experience fantastic. The staff is wonderful and took such good care of me, my finacee and family, whatever we needed they made sure to take care of it for us. The day of went flawlessly the property was amazing and the catering staff were excellent and professional and the food was DELICIOUS - so amazing! If anyone is interested in getting married in the Napa area I would recommend the Vintage Estate 100%. My wedding was amazing thanks to them!

I feel extremely lucky getting to say that I had my wedding on the Villagio/Vintage Estate property last week and it was absolutely incredible! Besides being completely gorgeous (both the grounds and accommodations) everyone there was extremely professional and beyond nice. Ann, Kelly and Alex in the office were more than helpful and ensured everything I could have dreamed of on my wedding day came true. The food is top notch, the surroundings cannot be beat and the people are fantastic. We will be going back every year to relive such an amazing day and visit the beautiful Villagio and friends we have made through the planning process!! I would highly recommend the Villagio to anyone who is looking for a wedding location that gives you picture perfect surroundings and a variety of options on how you can set up your big day!!

My partner and I had our wedding ceremony at the Villagio in May 2012 and had an amazing experience. The food (barbeque buffet), facility, and support from the staff was excellent. Everything went smoothly and nothing could have been better. We highly recommend the Villagio as the perfect venue for an outdoor wedding.

    A dream come true!

From the moment we walked onto The Estate Yountville, we knew it was our dream wedding venue. We were welcomed by the incredible Teri Sanders who gave us so much of her time and became our venue event planner leading up to our big day. She helped us find our day-of event planner (Roque events) and coordinated every detail so smoothly! I can't speak highly enough of her; she was so warm and friendly, by the time the wedding came she felt like family! (We still keep in touch to this day!) The venue itself was laid out perfectly, and everything was set up beautifully for the wedding - not a detail was missed. I cannot thank The Estate enough for all their wedding vendor recommendations. It helped us accomplish our plan of a 6 month engagement and 200 person wedding so effortlessly! From tenting, to table layouts, to the BEST FOOD EVER, they did it all! They are pro's at weddings, but mine still felt so unique and intimate, accomplishing the vibe I wanted my guests to experience. I cannot tell you how many of my guests told us for weeks afterwards, "it was the best wedding we've ever been to". My only recommendations for improvements to the Estate would be 1) Simplify the Room Block experience for guests, it was confusing for many people 2) Allow more than 2 people to the tasting day without an up-charge 3) include the Vintage House "getting ready" suite upstairs in the overall package. Overall, I wouldn't change a thing about our big day and I wish we could go back and do it all again! We will definitely be celebrating our 1 year anniversary at The Estate!

    Beautiful property, professional

Loved working with the Vintage Estate. Laura was so nice to work with and very helpful. The couple hiccups, nothing more than is to be expected, we’re handled very professionally. They made me feel like my wedding was as important to them as it was to me!

    The Perfect Destination Wedding

We had our wedding at The Estate Yountville in the summer of 2019.

Location: The Estate Yountville has a superb location for a destination wedding. It's located in the heart of Yountville. Walking distance to many hot spots, including RH Yountville Gallery, French Laundry, Bouchon, etc. Your guest will have plenty of entertainment during the day.

Venue: The venue itself is extremely tasteful, it got elegance and style, but yet it's not flashy. The venue itself is so beautiful that you really don't need to do much to dress it up. Of course, you can if you would like to.

Overall, it was a great experience. The pricing is certainly on the higher side, but this location is a safe choice if you want your guest to have a great time!

    Yountville perfection

From the moment we stepped foot in Yountville, CA we knew we wanted to get married there. We had the most perfect wedding for many reasons - we had the best planners out there (KOWE events) and Julie from the Estate, we have great guests, we had perfect weather and we are madly in love… The Estate was the backdrop for much of our wedding weekend - many of us stayed at the Vintage House, we were married in the ceremony spot right off of the Villagio, we had our brunch at the Vintage House and our reception was in the Social. Overall we would do this again and again - we had an incredible time… but it was not without hiccups that are important to note.
-We were married in April and asked about the state of the vineyard in April, knowing it was not harvest and wanting to make sure there was mustard seed, etc… so it was pretty — we were assured there would be plenty of wildflowers, mustard seed, etc… the entire vineyard was MOWED DOWN (to the grass clippings) the day before our wedding and looked like a tornado had come through — we had to pay more money for flowers, improvise and grab random plants from across the property to move to the vineyard and scramble… WE also had to identify this — it was BAD and ended up being fine based on our efforts and racing around and the fact we had already rented a ton of stuff for the ceremony itself.
-There are a lot of hidden costs… they charge for a room for your band to eat dinner, they charge for a room for you to change in, they charge for EVERYTHING… in the end it was all worth it, but it was very frustrating while negotiating especially when we were having all of these events and bringing all of these people at a time when there were no other weddings
-The space wasn’t ready… we flew out in January to see the space and it wasn’t done, we showed up for our wedding and crossed our fingers it would be good - it was beautiful - but still not completely done (landscaping, etc…) not a problem anymore, but still a bit stressful
-The tasting food was FANTASTIC - but not quite the same as what came out at the wedding… it felt less gourmet and the timing of the food delivery was a bit off — too slow between courses, etc… we were a small wedding, so I wanted it to feel like a dinner party - but it was just a bit off - nothing our guests would have noticed, but we did
In the end the wedding was incredible and the Estate came through. They figured it out, were so gracious to us as guests (personalized bathrobes, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries). I would work with Julie all the time for anything - she was fantastic and I assume this is largely the way large event places need to work… We would change nothing if given the choice again, but good to go in eyes wide open!

Unfortunately a terrible experience at a beautiful venue.

This is a difficult review to make as our experience with the estate was terrible but our wedding, amazing. We booked the venue over 14 months from the date of our wedding. We were excited to have the option of marriage in the vines with reception and cocktail hour in the beautiful Social area. Unfortunately, approximately 2-4 weeks before our wedding, I received an email (not a call) stating our reservation had been cancelled and they’d be happy to accommodate us two days later (after the wedding). We chose the venue for a variety of reasons, one of which being to stay on property and not have transportation needs, the proximity to others staying in the area of Yountville, and lastly, the presumed elegance of a 5-star property. The director of sales, Robert, contacted me after my planner graciously stepped in to help me navigate and was terrible. He was condescending, rude, trying to sell me on another property nearby (while lovely, it’s 3-star and I’ve stayed there before). He then tried to pitch another hotel 30 minutes away that he felt a perfect fit because it had a bowling alley and a steakhouse, neither of which we even cared for. His level of arrogance was ridiculous. We picked the estate for the location, the ability to stay at the venue of our wedding, and the overall experience they were selling. While we can understand things happen (they essentially wanted the business from a big banking event and moved everyone who had reservations to accommodate it), they lacked so much in communication and concern for the customer. My husband eventually stepped in as I was done dealing with Robert’s chauvinism, and he had the audacity to say to him that he thought they’d addressed everything and “fixed the issue” by delivering $30 bottles of Chandon and comping our stays elsewhere. While we appreciated it, they missed the point that they never asked what WE would have felt might have fixed it. It wasn’t about the money and certainly not for free Chandon (we’re actually cab fans, to try and keep it light). Michelle and Tracey were amazing and really stuck in a terrible situation; they were doing everything to try and accomodate but it was shadowed by Robert and the poor business element of The Estate. Additional poor details are that the Social doesn’t have shades so when the bright sun comes in at sunset, your guests are going to be hot. The a/c went out during the day while getting ready (it was 95 degrees) and we had to ask for fans. We had to do the same at the Social for the reception. The staff at The Vintage House were lazy, on their phones, and just didn’t seem to want to be there. One girl had her feet on the desk. When my stylist was needing to get her things down the stairs, not one of them even tried to assist her. They just kept focusing on the elevator being broken. My
Poor photographer who is amazing btw (Willow and Ben) was sweating as he ran around the upstairs of the Vintage house. A few guests came to the Vintage house instead of the vineyard and they didn’t want to use a cart to take them to the ceremony, despite it being 95 degrees outside. It’s just so lacking of the small details that make the experience.

Our ceremony was beautiful, our reception was fun (they didn’t save food plates for us despite me not eating it so if you do use them, make sure to ask as an fyi). To top it off, after the wedding, we received a bill for $2300 without any explanation as to what it was. When my husband asked for the invoice, the accountant said they’d made a mistake and we actually only owed $300-something with the invoice attached. It’s just such terrible business. I look back and try not to remember the drama we endured but if I had it to do over again, I would not choose them. And we certainly won’t be back.

    The Estate Yountville's reply:

We are truly sorry to hear that aspects of your special weekend did not meet expectations. Please know that we take great pride in delivering exceptional events and have built a reputation as a premier wedding destination. It’s always our goal to ensure every celebration is memorable for all the right reasons. We understand that you communicated concerns with our management team prior to the wedding, and while we believed the proposed alternatives were mutually agreeable, we regret that they ultimately fell short of your hopes. Your feedback is invaluable, and we take it to heart as we continue striving to improve. On a brighter note, we’re pleased to hear that your overall experience—and your time working with Michele—was positive. She is deeply passionate about weddings and truly enjoyed being part of your journey. Please accept our sincere apologies once again. We wish you and your husband a lifetime of happiness and beautiful memories together. Warm regards, the Estate Yountville Team
