    Day of Coordinator

    We used them for our day of coordinator and were incredibly grateful for them. We had been working with Taylor throughout the process; she was absolutely phenomenal, so patient and kind! She made us feel comfortable and confident that we would have a beautiful day! On the day of our wedding, we had Reagan and, to no surprise, she was also phenomenal! The day could not have been executed more perfectly! She was wonderful throughout the whole day, worked with my sister to problem solve some things that I never even noticed (as it should be), and definitely trusted her for everything. There was a slight issue and when I talked to her about it, she made me feel so much better and gave me a quick solution that I think worked perfectly! Feeling that kind of support from your coordinator is definitely important, and I am so grateful to have had that! We had such a great team!

    Stress-free wedding planning!

    We hired The Perfect Day for partial planning, coordinating, and our arch creation. McKenna was so amazing, she listened to everything we envisioned the day to be, so when it came to the final venue wall-through we didn’t even have to speak - she said exactly what we planned out and more!

    We also had to deal with some not so great external vendors day of the wedding and McKenna did such an incredible job of shielding us from all of it, so we could focus on having a great night.

    The Perfect Day

    The Perfect Day did an absolute amazing job with florals, rentals and coordination. We were blown away with how beautiful our day turned out.

    Wonderful Experience

    We hired The Perfect Day for our wedding florals, and some small decor/detail rentals. Heather was extremely communicative, flexible with changes to quantity and adding items.
    The flowers were stunning, the centerpieces were exactly what we had imagined, and the rental items (aisle signs, card box, flower girl basket) were all very clean and in great condition.
    The perfect day was also extremely reasonably priced.

    A Must Must Must!

    Coming from Houston and planning a wedding in New Braunfels, I was concerned about everything from vendor selections to the timeline of the wedding. Though that concern subsided after hiring Heather! She was an absolute JOY to work with during our engagement. We met at the Hill Country Spring Wedding Show almost two years ago and we have no single regret to hiring her and her team as our wedding coordinators. Despite only hiring her team for the month-of package she was always available to speak to over-the-phone or email regarding ANY questions we had during our planning. The day of the wedding, Cat, one of The Perfect Day's lead coordinators, was an absolute joy. She was on top of everything from decor, layout, timelines and everything in between. The wedding was as stress free as possible because of The Perfect Day. Everytime we will look back at our pictures, we will know that it came out as beautifully and perfect as possible because of their hardwork and dedication. Did I mention they have a margarita machine for rental? It was an absolute hit! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Heather and Cat!

    Smooth sailing with The Perfect Day

    We highly recommend The Perfect Day planners! We needed a day-of planner, and Heather expertly walked us through the vendor hand-off and provided a thorough timeline down to the minute. Communications were smooth, and the professionalism was appreciated. Catherine and Heather were on-site day of and it could not have gone better. We even threw them a curve ball when a guest had a medical emergency! They were absolutely wonderful, responsive and sensitive to the situation. Their organization and kind approach made our recommendation of them a no-brainer. As a retired event planner, I /we give them 2 thumbs up and 5 stars all around.

    The Perfect Day Lived Up To Their Name

    I had the privilege of working with Heather at A Perfect Day to plan my daughter, Ashley's, wedding. The the incredible part was that the wedding was planned with me being in Florida and it went off without a hitch on March 5, 2022. Heather was beyond helpful during the entire process, especially catering to the video calls. Heather even provided the flowers and the barn venue mentioned it was the prettiest wedding they'd seen. Thank you, Heather, and The Perfect Day, for making my daughter's wedding the best day of her life.

    Coordinator

    The Perfect Day was hands down the best hire we did for our entire wedding. From helping every step of the way to keep me on track planning, to taking over completely the month before/day of. They made our day go so smoothly. I would absolutely recommend a coordinator for your big day, and especially the perfect day!

    Say "I DO" to The Perfect Day!

    Heather was recommended to us, and we are forever grateful for that recommendation! From our initial meeting, we felt a sense of peace - knowing we could trust her with our special day. As a former bride, Heather understands all that can go into a wedding. She assured us that our job was to show up, be in love, and leave happily married. The Perfect Day truly helped deliver a perfect day!

    Couples, let me tell you, wedding planning can be stressful. We want it to be a beautiful representation of us as a couple, a day full of celebrating our love, and of course we want everything to go to plan. Heather and her team will help you do all of that and you won't have to lift a finger after they take over.

    The biggest blessing was having Heather as our coordinator, allowing our Moms and the rest of our wedding party the ability to enjoy the day with us rather than them having to take on extra responsibilities. The Perfect Day for coordination will be an amazing investment that pays back tenfold!

    We also rented multiple items from her surplus inventory, and her team did our floral arrangements - there is literally nothing Heather and her team cannot do!

    Heather is amazing!!

    Heather at The Perfect Day was amazing and made the wedding so stress free. We did our coordination, rentals, and bartending through The Perfect Day and they did amazing on each thing. Heather really helped month of working with my other vendors and making sure everything ran so smoothly day of! The bartenders were great and the rentals gorgeous! Heather was always very quick to respond and give advice. Highly recommend using them!!

    Great Consultation Experience with Heather

    I reached out to The Perfect Day for a consultation in the early stages of wedding planning. Heather was quick to respond and so helpful setting up an appointment via email, which had been a challenge with several other planners I'd contacted. When we met in person she was friendly, informative, down to earth, and put my fiancé and I at ease with her clear knowledge of local vendors and resources. She even reached out to one of the venues we toured to let them know we'd be visiting - which was so thoughtful and and went above and beyond, considering we weren't even clients. We ultimately chose a venue that required using an in-house coordinator, but I was so impressed with Heather and her professionalism that this review felt necessary. I would absolutely recommend Heather and The Perfect Day to anyone looking for wedding planning and coordination services.

    Amazing! Great service and super helpful

    Choosing the Perfect Day for not only our planner/coordinator, but also for our bartenders and florist was the best decision we made! They made the whole process easy and stress free, and the day of the wedding is was absolutely perfect, and our planner was so helpful throughout the whole night!

    Not so perfect day.

    I am deeply disappointed with the services provided by McKenna and The Perfect Day. Our wedding day was far from perfect, and a lot of that was due to poor planning, lack of communication, and unprofessional behavior.

    To start, we had an outdoor ceremony planned, but as it had been raining all day, the weather was clearly not in our favor. Despite this, McKenna failed to properly adapt to the situation. The custom ornaments I spent months creating for our guests, which were supposed to help them find their seats, were left out in the rain and completely ruined. This was incredibly upsetting, especially since so much time and effort went into making them a special part of the day.

    To make things worse, instead of properly coordinating the seating arrangement, McKenna took to the stage and yelled at our guests to “find her” because “it’s been chaotic.” I’m still baffled as to why everything was so chaotic when the rain had been predictable all day. Why were any of the decorations set up in a way that the guests couldn’t enjoy them? It just seemed like poor planning and a lack of contingency for the weather.

    Additionally, we rented furniture from The Perfect Day for a lawn setup, but because of the rain, the furniture wasn’t put out as expected. When I asked about this, I was told that since they had taken the furniture (even though it was obvious the rain was coming), we wouldn't be getting a refund. Why was the furniture removed if they knew the weather conditions? It felt like they took advantage of the situation rather than finding a way to make it work.

    Throughout the day, I had no communication from McKenna and was left in the dark about what was going on. Not only was she unprofessional, but her attitude was rude when I did try to reach out. I expected better organization, especially when it came to managing such a big day.

    And I don’t even want to get started on the lack of photos due to the disorganization. I’ll leave that for my photographer’s review, but suffice it to say, the day was so poorly handled that it impacted our ability to capture memories the way we wanted.

    I can give more examples but I will keep it short.

    In the end, the entire experience was frustrating and stressful, and I would not recommend McKenna or The Perfect Day to anyone looking for a reliable, professional wedding planner. It was far from “perfect,” and unfortunately, we were left with far too many issues on what should have been one of the best days of our lives.
