We can not express how happy we are with The Palace at Somerset Park. Our wedding was in July and it was the night of our dreams. Everything throughout the entire planning process was done so well. Our wedding planner Ella was fantastic, she left no detail out and made us feel very prepared for our wedding day. We felt The Palace went above and beyond in many aspects of the planning process. They recommended fantastic preferred vendors, set up a beautiful tasting for us to sample food and drinks and were organized all the way up to the final meetings the day before the wedding. Our wedding day itself left us speechless. Marcia was our Maitre D' and she was wonderful, she made the evening run so smooth and made us truly feel like the guests of honor, she took all the thinking out of our hands, made sure we were at the right place at the right time so we could enjoy the night. The East Ballroom is absolutely beautiful, the cocktail hour display was incredibly impressive, all of our guests were blown away by the options and quality of the food. The viennese was something out of a movie, the entire grand foyer was filled with dessert wall to wall. On top of the beauty and quality of food at The Palace, the service was incredible. The bartenders and servers were so polite, very helpful and incredibly attentive to every table. We really can not put it into any more words how wonderful our wedding was, we highly recommend The Palace at Somerset Park. -

The Palace At Somerset Park exceeded every expectation we had and played such a huge role in making our wedding day absolutely perfect. From the beautiful setting to the exceptional service, every detail was handled with care and professionalism.
A special thank you goes to our Maitre d, David and our bridal attendant, Valeria, who were truly outstanding. David kept everything running seamlessly from start to finish. His organization, attention to detail and ability to manage every aspect of the day gave us complete peace if mind. We never had to worry about a thing because we knew we were in great hands.
Valeria was simply incredible. She was always one step ahead of every need, making sure I was comfortable, hydrated, and able to fully enjoy every moment of the day. Whether it was fixing my dress, helping with photos, or checking in to make sure everything was perfect, she did it all with such kindness, warmth and genuine care.
Together, David and Valeria went above and beyond in ways that made us feel truly special. Their dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail allowed us to be fully present and enjoy our wedding day without stress.
We have received so many compliments about David, Valeria, the food, the beauty of the ballroom, the new renovations, the cocktail hour, the Viennese hour, etc. I could not have picked a more perfect venue for our big day.
We are so grateful to the entire venue team for creating such an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a venue with exceptional service and staff who genuinely care about making your day perfect, we cannot recommend them highly enough. -

From the moment we stepped into The Palace at Somerset Park during our tour nearly two years ago, we knew it was the one. We toured at least 10 other venues afterward due to budget considerations, but nothing ever compared, we kept finding ourselves drawn back to The Palace.
Edyta, our event manager, was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. She answered all of our questions, accommodated multiple tours, and made the booking process feel seamless. Once we booked, Alexandra, our event planner, was just as wonderful, always responsive, incredibly detailed, and she truly made the entire planning process feel easy and enjoyable.
On the day of the wedding, everything exceeded our expectations. Cindy, our groom attendant, and Paola, our Maitre D’, were absolutely amazing. From start to finish, they were attentive, organized, and made sure everything ran smoothly so we could truly enjoy every moment.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning, the grounds, the food, the atmosphere, and especially the newly renovated West House and cocktail area. The ceremony space was beautiful, and everything came together exactly as we had envisioned.
Our wedding day felt perfect, and that is entirely thanks to The Palace and their incredible team. We also received so many compliments from our guests, several people told us it was the best wedding they’ve been to in years. We would absolutely recommend The Palace to any couple looking for a truly exceptional wedding experience. -

Our Happily Ever After
Our wedding day was absolutely magical, and we cannot thank this venue and their incredible team enough, especially Edyta. She made sure we were fed and hydrated during and after the wedding by packing up some of our favorite bites. Right after the wedding, she sent us photos that she took during the whole night to allow us to enjoy the best day ever. Her calm presence, attention to detail, and genuine care made the entire day run effortlessly. From keeping us on schedule to making sure we were taken care of all night, the whole team went above and beyond.
Our guests are still raving about how beautiful everything was, how delicious the food was, and how smooth the entire event felt. We are so grateful for the unforgettable memories they helped create. -

Amazing!
I had my wedding at The Palace on November 7th 2025. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. From 2 years before the event, Alexandra - our event planner - was there for every question or concern that I had. She really helped lay out how the day would go and went above and beyond to give me quick and helpful responses. The day of, Edyta was our Maitre D and she ran the whole wedding. She made sure everything ran smooth and all our guests were taken care of. She reccomend how the day should flow based on her experience and stayed in contact with all of our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. Valeria was my bridal attendant and she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable all day. She assisted my bridal party as well, steamed all of our dresses, helped me get dressed, carried my lipstick all night and made sure everything ran smooth and made sure I was where I needed to be at all times. She took care of me and my husband in such an amazing way. I wish I could do it all again just to experience the amazing service and expertise The Palace provides when it comes to events. -

Incredible service every step of the way!
The level of service The Palace provides from the moment you begin your first tour, through booking, the planning process, the final weeks to days before the wedding, all the way through the the wedding day, AND even after it ends cannot be understated. My husband and I (and our families and bridal parties) felt like absolute royalty on our wedding day. The Palace offers an incredible value for the price, and their attention to detail never failed to amaze and impress us.
Everyone we worked with at The Palace was consistently accommodating, calming, and friendly. We booked with Jose, who was fantastic and answered my many questions about the contract. Antonia was our planner, and she was outstanding, communicating clearly and quickly with me by email in the 16 months from booking to event date. We had many questions for her and she answered them all patiently. When she didn't have an answer for us immediately, she followed up. Our in-person planning meeting with her was also fantastic. Antonia's organization and meticulous attention to detail impressed us, and she answered our questions before we could even ask them!
Marcia was our maitre d’ (basically, day of coordinator), and she was instrumental to making our wedding day run smoothly. Our planning meeting the week before was hugely helpful and brought my stress levels down a ton! We were able to drop off all of our many items (favors, guest book, etc.) the Thursday before and they set up everything for us which saved us so much stress. We were especially appreciative of Marcia's assurances that we would be able to try our food during the cocktail hour with a platter in the bridal suite AND that she would send us home with food from the cocktail hour, all of our entrees, and a sampling of desserts. That helped us focus on enjoying the day overall because we didn't have to worry about getting to try the food! While I was slightly skeptical of her suggested schedule of events (two dancing sets split by dinner), I should have just trusted her from the get go, because it worked out perfectly. Also, Antonia and Marcia spoke with our vendors, planned out their arrival times, and acted as points of contact, which helped SO much by taking several items off my week of to do list.
I also can’t say enough good things about my bridal attendants, Vanessa and Jenniffer. They steamed my gown and bridesmaids dresses, and when I had an anxiety-induced hot flash and couldn’t stop sweating before my first look, they held up my dress and literally fanned me underneath it while I stood there! Jenniffer carried my train around during portraits, making it easy for me to move around. They were such professionals, I didn’t feel at all weird having them help me use the bathroom or fetch me anything I needed throughout the night.
Our wedding was in the West House. Renovations are upcoming, but we honestly LOVED the space as we were able to enjoy it. We chose an indoor ceremony because of the staircase and fireplace, and as a bride, it felt like a dream coming down those stairs and the aisle. The bridal suite was also incredible. We added 3 hours to have it at 9:00 am. This was a huge perk of booking at The Palace IMO—we wanted to be able to get ready on-site, which you can't do at a lot of other venues.
The food and drink were INCREDIBLE. So much of it, and all delicious. Please put any worries you have about that aside—my husband and I are huge foodies and love going out in NYC and it did not disappoint. Our guests are still talking about the food, and the Viennese dessert hour really wowed them. We also loved having our cocktail hour platter in the bridal suite, being provided with all 3 entrees to try at our sweetheart table, and being sent home with a sampling of food and desserts to enjoy the next day.
Finally, the staff packed up my parents’ SUV with everything at the end of the night, so we could all head back to the hotel and enjoy the after party without worry. We had the best wedding ever, and we wish we could relive the night over and over again!! -

From that day forward, the entire Palace team continued to impress us. Alex, our event planner, guided us every step of the way. She was organized, thoughtful, and so incredibly helpful. I never had to worry—she laid everything out perfectly and made the planning process feel effortless.
On the day of, David, our Maître d’, was an absolute dream to work with. He was attentive, calm, and took care of not only me but our entire wedding party and guests. Truly exceptional.
Vanessa and Valeria, my bridal attendants, were lifesavers. From steaming my dress to fluffing my veil and anticipating every need, they were by my side the entire day. I felt so supported and cared for.
The rest of the staff was equally wonderful—professional, warm, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect.

I can’t say enough good things about the Palace. I got married here in August and the whole process with the Palace from start to finish was so seamless. I worked with Antonia who continuously followed up with me and helped me stay organized so that the week of my wedding I could actually relax. My Maitre’D Marcia was so sweet and made me feel like a princess. She ran the day so smoothly. The entire staff was extremely nice and kept checking in on us all night along with our families. The food is delicious, and the desserts will blow you away. We got married in the East ballroom and the renovations are stunning! The bridal suite is fit for a queen and provided myself and my bridesmaids more than enough space to get ready. My guests couldn’t say enough great things about how impressed they were by the Palace. If you are looking for an absolutely incredible wedding experience the Palace is your venue!!! -

The BEST Venue!
We got married at The Palace in the East House two months ago and our guests are still raving about the venue! The service, the delicious food, the quantity of food & dessert was all outstanding, not to mention the beautiful grounds. We were there from 8am to 10:30pm and everything was perfect from beginning to end. Antonia was our event planner and she was truly so easy to communicate with and work with. We live out of state so communication was big for us and Antonia truly excelled! David was our Maitre D and he was the best. We met with David a few days before our wedding to go over details and his professionalism and friendliness truly made all of our nerves go away. I had Vanessa and Marion as bridal attendants and they were both perfect. The Palace and its’ employees truly think of everything! The whole day from morning to night ran smoothly and on time all thanks to them! We had guests who didn’t speak English and they felt extremely comfortable with David, as well as all of the servers and bartenders. At the end of the night, David and the team packed our car for us as well. The Palace worked with all of our vendors flawlessly and adjusted any last minute requests we had. Our goal for our wedding was to see our guests enjoying the food and drinks and having the best time, and they truly did! We had roger and Marcia as our maitre d's and they were both great and made sure everything went as planned. My bridal attendant also made sure I was taken care of all day. Food was amazing. Would 100% recommend them to all future brides. Great price and only one package option so it makes things far less complicated. Alex was our event coordinator leading up to the day and I cannot say enough amazing things. The sheer number of emails I sent her and she graciously answered them all. -

Book the palace!
Having our wedding at the Palace was the easiest decision for us. As soon as we visited, we were blown away by its beauty. We stopped by multiple times before our wedding day, and at each visit, every single person we spoke to was beyond friendly and very helpful answering any and all questions we had. Antonia was my rock leading up to our big day – always so quick to respond and calm any nerves I had beforehand. On our wedding day, Marcia and Sabrina were the best bridal attendants we could have hoped for. Without even asking, they just knew the next thing any of us needed and made sure we were happy the entire day. Everything was perfection
I wanted you to know that everything, I mean everything was absolutely perfect!! Our guests are still texting and emailing us to say it was the best wedding they have ever attended. They felt
welcome from the moment they entered the door. They commented on how well organized and executed every part of the day was.
The food was delicious and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection.( My mother was very happy)
Now to the amazing team that serviced me, the nervous bride. It started with Bridgette who gave us our tour and solidified my dream of
having our wedding at the Palace. She witnessed my tears, as I visualized our beautiful day in the East House. She also got us our lamb chops.
Then the handoff to Raphaella, who got the Bride who was not just nervous but had some concerns. Raphaella, thank you for answering
my questions and emails and giving me all of the information I needed as I added vendors to the process. Thank you for the amazing tasting.
Thank you for reassuring me of the quality of the service and what to expect as we went through the planning process. You did not disappoint.
Now for the team who managed everything to result in perfect execution for the day, thank you to Marcia and David!!! What a dynamic duo and
they tag teamed everything seamlessly. Marcia met us on Wednesday as we dropped off items and she filled in for David. I was so happy to
know that she would be with me, since I loved her when I met her at our tasting. She extended herself and even gave me her cell number should
I have any questions or issues that I thought of after our meeting. Especially since I had forgotten several items at home. As I apologized, she just kept saying
"no problem, do not stress, you can drop them off tomorrow." She put me at ease and as promised she was there to receive the items. As we arrived
at 10:00am on Sunday she was right there waiting for me to get me to the Bridal Suite and she attended to every detail, juggling her responsibilities for
venue set up and making sure we had fresh hot coffee and Mimosas. Since my mother was also the Officiant, she was not there to dress me, but no worries
Marcia said that she would dress me and make sure I was ready and ready I was!!! She kept us on time and moved us along. When I arrived at the
staircase, she told me that no matter what if anything went wrong just stop and she would fix it. Well, my veil came off on the staircase and Marcia to the the
rescue. That was my experience the entire day with her. She is absolutely amazing and she made me feel so special and well taken care of. I also know that
she did the same for the men.
David was the master executioner, with absolute precision. He kept us organized and on time and everything flowed beautifully. It was as if he was superman operating
with lightning speed, but we never felt rushed! We never felt short changed. Our guests also raved about the quality of service they received from all of the waitstaff.
Military white glove service was on display all evening and my guests felt like absolute royalty. I felt like I was on a cloud all evening.
Our Black Tie Wedding Day was absolutely perfect and it would not have been possible without the Palace and your amazing team. Thank you to everyone who
made CATES DAY the most memorable day for my husband and I and our family and friends who traveled from all over the country to be with us.

What can I say? Our wedding at the Palace exceeded our wildest expectations; we literally could not have dreamed for a more perfect day. From start to end, we felt cared for and focused on. While this review is lengthy, we felt it was important to give credit where credit is due!
The bridal suite was huge, with two changing rooms and common lounge, absolutely perfect for our large bridal party of 10 bridesmaids. The groomsmen suite was equally impressive, with plenty of room to get ready.
The actual venue itself was beautiful. Driving in, it truly looks like a palace, and we were happy to see that we had our own parking area and guest entrance. We had our ceremony in the grand foyer, which comfortably sat our 200+ guests. The entrance of the bride was spectacularly, beautifully designed to showcase her. The cocktail hour food was unbelievable, and guests came up to personally tell us how much they enjoyed it! And the reception space was incredible. It felt spacious and elegant. The lighting was perfect and the staff was efficient and progressional. Of course, the reception food was spectacular as well!
Finally, and most importantly, our Maitre D and bridal attendant were vital to us having the time of our lives. The bridal attendant, Ashley, made us feel so cared for, checking up on us constantly and addressing any of our requests. She made sure we ate, which is something we didn’t expect we needed, bringing us a whole tray of the cocktail hour food, holding our reception dinner to keep it warm and even collecting an assortment of the desserts! Our Maitre D, David, absolutely ran the show. He worked seamlessly with our wedding planner, making sure we remained on schedule while somehow not making us feel rushed. He was super flexible, accommodating last second changes. He was clear and concise with his instructions, and as a result, the day went so smoothly! To top it off, he made sure that we had all of our stuff at the end of the day, going as far as helping us load our cars.
To sum up our experience at the Palace, they made our ideal wedding come to life. Every single detail matters to them, which made our day so special. If you’re considering the Palace, absolutely go for it. You won’t regret it! -

We got married on 2/19 (east house) and we're still over the moon about our wedding. Everything about the palace is impeccable even for the most wedding anxious. The palace takes care of so many aspects of the entire wedding and does them all absolutely flawlessly. The grounds and interior is breathtaking, the food and drinks are absolutely delicious, and the staff are fantastic
Even with hosting our event in february without the usual spring greenery the grounds are positively gorgeous and make for beautiful pictures. The venue interior is just as gorgeous (also the bridal suite is massive with 4 dedicated prep stations) and honestly was picture perfect as it was on so many fronts. The food was so good we had people afterwards saying they weren't prepared for the viennese dessert bar, but somehow everyone still made space it was that good. We worked with Rachel Citron for our wedding planning and coordinated with Ella for venue coordination, David as maitre'd and Sabrina and Miriam as bridal attendants. Honestly the attentiveness and care of all the staff really helped make so much of our wedding (prep and execution) go off with minimal stress
It reads like a paid ad, but there really is nothing I could possibly nitpick at that I would have done differently. For my friends and family in the area looking for a unparalleled venue with fantastic food and staff, this place is an easy recommendation to book and let the specialists do what they do best. -

We celebrated my daughter's sweet 16th at the Palace. This breathtaking venue lives up to its name. The Palace is absolutely the best place for hosting your event. The staff made us feel like royalty. The planning process with Ella was flawless. Every employee that I came across at the Palace was a delight. Our Maître d, David was simply excellent, the day of the event. He took care of everything from start to finish. He made the guests feel welcomed and took care of all the details including keeping the program on-time. The event was a night to remember because of folks like Alan, Vanessa and Joy who were the best. I would highly recommend this venue because the staff is simply top notch. Our guests all have given feedback about this amazing venue and can't say enough about how they felt like royalty. Thank you so much to the Palace for making our special day so royal. -

The Palace at Somerset made our wedding our dream come true. Everything we could have ever imagined for our wedding day was made possible by The Palace. Our planner Alexandra and our Maitre D David were not only two of the nicest people we've ever met, they are amazing at their jobs. Every request, question, or need was answered and handled promptly. Every worry was calmed by their professionalism and kindness. The food was incredible. Our guests are still talking about how amazing our cocktail hour, dinner, and Venetian hour were. Everything was delicious and the variety was amazing! Our wedding was in the fall and I have always wanted fall colors for my wedding day. The grounds can only be described as magical. The Palace was the first venue we toured, and we fell in love instantly. This venue has EVERYTHING—beautiful grounds, exquisite ballrooms and suites, an insane variety of delicious food, and the most incredible and accommodating staff. We had the pleasure of having Antonia as our event planner—she worked very closely and patiently with us for a little over a year to make sure that we were on track for wedding prep. We also had a wonderful experience with our maître d’ David, and our bridal attendants Sabrina and Mirian—they took such great care of us on our wedding day, including making sure both of us were fed (very important)! It’s almost as if they already knew of any potential problems and immediately got rid of them before we even had a chance to stress out! Our guests are still raving about the food, especially the cocktail hour and Viennese dessert display—they loved that there was something for everyone to enjoy. Honestly, we could go on about how much we love the Palace for giving us our dream wedding, but we’ll let the Palace speak for itself! Go schedule a tour with them! -

Exceptional!!!
2 weeks later… and still blown away! My husband & I got married this past New Year’s Eve 22 (West House) and we’re still on cloud nine. Our guests haven’t stopped complimenting the entire night, food, flowers, music, photography and the overall ambience of the romantic, intimate vibe we had at the Palace. I wish we could relive every second of our special day. A huge shoutout to Antonia, our event planner, Nick our Maitre D & Chef Justin for exceeding our extremely high expectations. Absolutely incredible!!
Words cannot describe how incredible our experience at The Palace was from start to finish. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect! We had an absolute blast and our guests are still talking about all the delicious food served during cocktail hour, dinner and of course, the dessert hour! Not only is the venue incredible but The Palace’s staff is top-notch! They give their 1000% and were very attentive to not only my husband and I, but our family and friends as well. There are no words to describe the beauty of this venue, responsiveness of all staff, and the ability to cater to every possible request. Our wedding was an ABSOLUTE dream thanks to The Palace. -

We had our wedding at The Palace on August 21st, and we could not have asked for a better experience than we had with this venue! From the start, we worked with Richard for touring and booking. He was incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions, and scheduling and extra tour when my fiancé could not attend the first one last minute due to work.
Once we booked, we worked with Antonia Lauber, who was incredibly communicative throughout the 11 months leading up to our event. She was quick to clarify, accommodating with requests, and a joy to meet with when we had our planning session.
We felt incredibly cared for at our tasting, which was run by one of the maitre d's, I believe his name was Daniel. He was very personable and friendly, sharing lots of information on the menu and even more stories about events he's worked at The Palace. We knew with Daniel we were in excellent hands.
Our maitre d' for the event itself was Matthew. Matthew ROCKS. As a director for a living, I like to be in charge of my own projects and not give up control. I felt at ease handing the reigns over to Matthew and was confident and comfortable knowing that he would make the day effortless and enjoyable for us. Matthew made us feel like a priority, and we are so THANKFUL for all the effort he put into our day.
I had two bridal attendants, one who was in training. I feel awful for not remembering their names because they were immensely helpful throughout the day to both me and my party. Thank you for your efforts and your attention throughout my day!
We had a number of guests with physical disabilities, dietary requests, and life threatening food allergies. This was navigated perfectly by the venue. The Palace made my guests feel like they weren't being "accommodated", but instead like they were being catered to equally and equitably, without loss of any part of the experience. Thank you to all the servers and bartenders who worked with Matthew that day for making ALL my guests feel welcomed.
All of this, coupled with the breathtaking aesthetics, the ENORMOUS amount of food included, and the bang for your buck, has me raving about The Palace to everyone I know. I only hope we are invited to another wedding at The Palace so we can come back again and experience it as guests! -

The Palace at Somerset Park is elegance in a venue. Now only is the venue itself beautiful and memorable but the staff are AMAZING.
Leading up to the wedding, Antonia from the Palace helped us out with any and every questions we had. Her response times and professionalism was UNBELIEVABLE!
During the wedding day, we were assigned a maître de- David, who was AMAZING! We did not have to worry about a single thing the entire day. Food, décor, and venue setup just happened without a single stress on the family or bride/groom.
There is something to be said when multiple people come up to the bride and groom leading up to the wedding or during their wedding day and say "You don't look stressed at all" or "how do you have down time"
This was all truly due to the amazing staff at the Palace and how they handled our event.
As a bride who is VERY type-A, after I met Antonia and David, I did not have a single worry or stress that the wedding would not go smoothly.
Also during my wedding day I had bridal assistants by my side at ALL times. Saying ladies went ABOVE and BEYOND is an understatement. Weather it was a drink, water (bottle opened with a biodegradable straw inserted), or food the assistant would be ready and give me anything I needed throughout the day. Leading up to the wedding my husband and I told ourselves that we did not want to be one of those couples that did not eat any of the food at their own wedding. Well the Bridal Assistants and Palace staff not only made sure we tried everything, we also has some food packed to fully enjoy the next day.
When it comes to a venue I would HIGHLY recommend the future bride and groom to not only look at the vibe of the venue but also understand what the staff is willing to do during your event.
The Palace staff goes ABOVE and BEYOND and that is what truly makes this venue amazing. I would recommend the Palace to ALL brides and grooms out there.

As the father of the bride, I wish to compliment Neeraj, Rahul and the entire Moghul catering staff for their service and the delicious food they served for our daughter’s wedding. Also the Palace of Somerset team for the excellent facilities and services provided during wedding. The Palace cocktails, dinner and venetian dessert buffets were top notch and well presented. The both teams truly catered to our needs. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any items as our guests are still raving about the menus and overwhelmingly complimentary.
Both teams worked with us continually to make this wedding happen. We are happy to say all of our events went perfect. All in all, we were very happy with Moghul catering and the Palace of Somerset. -

Our wedding had about 320 guests and we rented out the entire house for a full day event.
From the beginning the staff at the Palace was super professional and made us feel like we were in good hands. During our initial visit, they walked us through all of the amenities and how they could accommodate a mixed Hindu/western wedding.
The venue itself is fantastic. The bride and groom suites are very large, the grounds have many places to take photos, and the architecture is simply put, grand.
The Palace is definitely not cheap but you do get a whiteglove service. Here are a few examples that really stick out:
Richard, our initial sales person, walked us around the premises. He asked all the right questions to understand our needs and listened very carefully to our feedback and wishes. They asked about the baraat, suggested a place and positioning of the mandap, knew that there would be dietary restrictions the day of, and many more small details that made us feel like they had done this many times before and this was all on the first meeting.
Antonia, our wedding planner, that we were talking to for the months leading up to the event was extremely patient, even when we were thrashing on decisions. She had very good response time when answering our many questions over email and could quickly update room arrangements when we made new requests.
Our maitre ‘d, David, was on the ball the week before and all day on the day off. He had several recommendations for how we should make our appearances and listened to my father in law’s very specific requests for food placement. On the wedding day, his energy levels somehow remained high throughout the entire 14 hour event and through his earpiece he could seemingly summon anything and anyone at will. He had recommendations whenever they were needed and guided us on the parts that we might have stumbled through. For example, when we were cutting the cake, he made sure to stay out of photographs but we could clearly hear him say “Now move the knife an inch to the right and make another cut…”
The bridal assistants (Ashley, Palak,and Anhila) on the day of were amazingly professional. They made sure all of our food and beverage needs were taken care of, they would relay messages between the suites, and bustled the bride’s dress after the ceremony.
Pricing was straightforward and they stuck to the contract but make sure you understand which catering will be handled by them or an external caterer when you sign the contract. They will not try to nickel and dime you or do hidden upcharges. I would definitely choose The Palace again if I was doing it all over again. -

Our day was absolutely perfect! We had such a seamless experience from the first time tour, sitting down with Jose to review pricing, booking the venue, having Antonia as our planner, Ashley as our bridal attendant and last but not least David as our maître d’. Antonia was a good planner, every email I sent, every question I asked (crazy or not) she was very responsive and never let me go more than a day hearing back. Ashley was excellent and made sure we were fed and cared for at all times. DAVID, he was the best!
He calmed our nerves and any last questions we had in the meeting you have the week of the wedding. He was beyond attentive, made sure we had a drink in hand at all times and were having the best time possible all night. My day would not have been nearly as fun and flawless without him.
I chose the Palace because it is somewhere my large family has never been before and it was the best choice I made. Our guests are still raving about the food and how wonderful the service was. I still hear about the sage gnocchi appetizer, the grouper main and most of all the peppercorn crusted filet -

The Palace made this highstrung bride at ease on her wedding day.
I had my wedding at The Palace at Somerset Park this January. For what the package includes, I think it was well worth the money. Our wedding day went flawlessly, and I genuinely believe it was due to the amazing and professional staff at the Palace. The upside to having a wedding at a 'wedding factory' is that they know what they were doing. I'm normally a very high strung person, but on our wedding day, I was oddly calm which I accredit to our maitre'd. It is such a huge relief to a bride to be able to just enjoy the wedding day, and let someone else take care of when the ceremony starts, when the DJ should be starting the music, if someone unexpected shows up and needs a seat, etc. There are so many details of a wedding, and the Palace handled them beautifully. In addition, because I was severely under the minimum guest amount (thank you covid), the Palace worked with me to add extra stations, lighting, and decor at no additional cost. They did not have to but did so anyways.
TLDR: the Palace at Somerset Park may be a 'wedding factory', but they know what they are doing. They help you take care of details you wouldn't even think about, help you run your wedding day for you (so you can be in the moment), and are willing to work with you to make your wedding day special. -

We choose this Venue back in March and had the wedding in December. We are very glad we choose this place as they are great with planning. Wedding planning is daunting and has a lot of boxes to check off. The Palace comes with a wedding planner, Maitre D, and Bridal attendant to help everything come together.
The wedding planner was able fill in the large details where we can start to align the vision of the wedding. The Maitre D/Banquet Manager we worked with is amazing. He was able to work on the many smaller details. He was able to coordinate with all the vendors to make sure the day goes smoothly. My wife and I were able to mentally check out of planning and truly enjoy our day. Lastly the bridal attendant helped my wife get all the items she needed for the day.
A big plus is that you will have time to eat. You can have the cocktail hour food brought to your suite if you want to take a break. During the reception they will give you your main course plus small side dishes of the other main entrees. On top of they they will make sure you have you glasses filled with what ever drink you have, even cocktails.
The venue alone is a beautiful place that has rooms that can fit 100 - 185 people (west room) or 185+ (east room). The have suites for the bride and the groom to prepare & relax for the day. They have outside seating where you and your guests can enjoy all year round (they have outside heaters and fire pits). The one notable thing our guests kept on mentioning is how good the cocktail hour is.
Highly recommend.

On 12/26/2021, I had my reception at The Palace. We originally booked in 2019 for an April 2021 date, but ultimately had to move it due to COVID. From the day we had the tour with the Palace, we felt at ease and comfortable with everyone there. As soon as papers were signed, we started working with Traci who helped us navigate through all of COVID. When we made the decision to move, The Palace was unbelievable accommodating to the situation and made the entire process to move our date easy. We had booked the entire venue given our original headcount and were limited with dates to move to, but they worked with us to find a new date that worked. When Traci went on maternity leave, we started working with Antonia. Both Traci and Antonia answered all our crazy questions and kept us at ease planning a wedding through a pandemic. On the day of, David was our maître d and Ashley was my bridal attendant. The two of them are a match made in heaven. They were both extremely attentive and made the day enjoyable and managed everything for us. The food at the palace is unbelievably good and for a reception of over 200 people, everyone’s steak was cooked medium/medium well. Cocktail hour and the Viennese dessert were also outstanding. They had every option we could have wanted and we kept hearing from our guests how good the food was. We also requested the meat to be halal and the Palace was able to accommodate this for us as well which was extremely important for my family. When we were below our contracted minimum due to COVID, The Palace provided options for us to make up the difference which also made the overall wedding planning process seamless. Overall I would recommend The Palace to anyone who is looking to host an event. From the food, the team and overall service, everything they have to offer is amazing. -

Absolutely Amazing!!!
My now husband & I got engaged Oct 2018, well before COVID was even a thought in anyone's mind & we booked The Palace in Nov 2018. We were expecting to get married April 19, 2020, which unfortunately, was a few weeks before the entire country shut down. We were, devastated but The Palace did everything they could to accommodate us. We had many meetings with them where they would spend a great deal of time answering all of our questions (& our parents questions too). Alex Favale, our wedding planner was A STAR. She's super attentive & spent 3 long years with us on this journey as we tried to reschedule our wedding a 2nd time (7/9/20), a 3rd time (11/1/20), and finally, a 4th time (6/6/21). I cannot begin to express the amount of stress my husband & I went through during this time and The Palace was always trying to figure out a way to make it work with us (which as I've heard, wasn't the case with all other venues). With every reschedule, we had to renegotiate pricing, but everything else in our contract stayed the same. They really tried to make sure the process was as seamless as possible. Once the day finally arrived, we were absolutely blown away with the staff, the facilities and the overall atmosphere. After not seeing our family & friends for over a year, it will go down as one of the most amazing days (and reunions) of our lives!!! Ashley was a supportive bridal attendant & was always there to lend a helping hand. I want to give a HUGE shoutout to David, our Maitre D', who went above & beyond to make the day absolutely perfect for us. He really is so amazing; kind, yet very professional, yet makes sure you get everything possible you want for your wedding day. A few days before the wedding, we brought all our goodies/props to the venue (which was a lot in my opinion: placecards, 25 photos in frames, signs, cake toppers, signature drink pictures, grandparent pictures, 200 favors, etc.) and everything was setup exactly where we wanted it to be (+ some extra creativity on The Palace team), thanks to David & his team. We were blown away with what the room ended up looking like.. something out of a dream. We had been imagining our event for almost 3 years, but nothing really prepared us for what we felt that day. We really thank the entire staff for helping make the day everything we could have ever wanted. It was a hot day, but you could never tell this bothered any of them. Our guests had the time of their LIVES!!!! We got SO many compliments after the fact. The food, the drinks, the dancing, the atmosphere, the Venetian display, WOW!!! Still to this day, 2 months after, I'm getting compliments about just how perfect our day was. And that's all thanks to The Palace team. From the moment we walked into The Palace and met with Kara back in 2018, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married at! The revenue is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is honestly the best I have ever experienced.
Due to Covid, our June 2020 wedding was pushed to July 2021. We were devastated but Alex and Antonia eased our nerves as we prepared for another year of our engagement. From start to finish The Palace staff was phenomenal to work with. I work in events, so I constantly reached out to Antonia with questions regarding our floor plan, covid restrictions etc. and she always got back to me instantly and was such a pleasure to work with.
Daniel, the catering manager was so nice at our tasting in April, he came up to our table and explained the current restrictions and the hope that they would be lifted by our July wedding.
The days leading up to our wedding Antonia and Josh made our wedding perfect. We met with Josh to go over all of our details and when we walked into The Palace everything looked perfect. Anytime we were looking for Josh, before we could even say where is Josh he was right there making sure we were happy and making sure our parents and all our guests were having a great time. Days after the wedding our guests are still telling us how beautiful the venue was, how impressed they were with the food menu (guests were loving the raw bar and hibachi station and of course the Viennese display), and how great the staff was onsite. I can’t thank Antonia, Daniel, Josh and all of the staff at The Palace for giving us the wedding of our dreams. -

We attended a wedding back in 2015 at The Palace and from that moment, my husband and I knew we had to get married there. Our wedding was 5/15/21. The service at The Palace is unmatched. We started our wedding planning journey in 2019. Then of course, with Covid hitting, we had to cancel our original date on 5/30/20. The Palace was there for us every step of the way. Throughout the entire re-planning process (crazyyyyy), we kept saying to each other "Thank goodness we went with The Palace and not another venue." when it seemed like every other venue wasn't being as helpful with covid couples. The Palace treated us as if we were the most important couple there, even though we knew they were dealing with 5000 other upset bride & grooms who had to cancel their big day. When our day finally came, the staff was AMAZING (no surprise there). Traci was our event planner. She did everything virtually, and it all went off without a hitch. She made sure to personally call me for ANY good news (open bar is allowed again, dance floor can open up again, etc). She was amazing. And David was our maître d, who was also out-of-this-world and just on top of everything. I could write a 5 page essay on why The Palace is the best venue out there, but hopefully this review will suffice. There's a Maya Angelou quote “I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way they handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.” Well, add on "a pandemic" to it, and The Palace is unmatched. My husband and I got married at The Palace on June 12,2021 and we could not be more happy. I had a vision for what our big day would be like and because of everyone at the palace, the reality was a million times better than anything I could have imagined. Everyone from the start of planning our wedding up to the actual day where beyond incredible. Antonia was our planner and she was always easy to get in touch with, responsive to all my many emails and answered all my questions. Josh was our Maitre d’ and he was absolutely incredible!! He handled every single detail of that day so that every moment was executed perfectly. His attention to detail was unreal, he kept us on track with where we needed to be and anything we needed was taken care of.
The staff that was taking care of our guest and serving food and drinks where unlike anything I’ve seen before. One of our guests actually said they felt like royalty. Everyone’s meals where served at the same time and no one even had a chance to ask for a refill on their drink because the staff was so attentive to their needs. They truly are like a well oiled machine.
I could go on and on about our amazing experience but, bottom line is if you are looking for a venue who knows what they are doing, provides the best service so your day is incredible for you and your guest, The Palace is the venue you want!

The Palace is absolutely amazing. My husband and I got married on May 22, 2021 in the west ballroom. All of our guests had the best time thanks to the wonderful staff making sure our wedding went smoothly. We were engaged for a year and a half before COVID and luckily for us, restrictions lifted just in time. Our Maitre D, David is FABULOUS. He took care of every little detailed and made our dream wedding come to life. He even made a bar sign for me with our signature drinks since the walk up bar had just opened a week before my wedding and I didn't have time to make my own by that point. My bridal attendant was Ashley and she is a sweetheart and SO helpful. She constantly made sure we had a drink in our hand, picked up my long train when walking around the property for photos, bustled my dress, held my bouquet at times, and so much more. I knew we were going to have the best time ever when we booked The Palace back in 2019, and they have been amazing during the Pandemic. Traci was also a wonderful planner and answered my emails promptly. Last but not least, the food is delicious and guests will love everything about it. BOOK THE PALACE! Where to begin? My
Husband and I got married on May 1, 2021 and our day was phenomenal. From the moment we met our salesmen, Jose, we knew we were in good hands. We had a long engagement which was made even longer (thanks Covid) and from one planner to the next, our transition was seamless and we were able to pick up right where we left off. We were planning long distance and the miles did not stop the staff from making us feel like we were right there planning along side of them. My husband surprised me with fireworks at our reception and everyone kept it a complete surprise through every meeting or interaction I had with them. Our final planner was Alex and she was amazing. She answered all of our questions, reassured us on details we were unfamiliar with, and was more than willing to accommodate our requests. The chef was outstanding! Our menu was rearranged (again because of Covid) but he was so willing to allow us to mix and match items we wanted to make sure our experience was tailored to our wants and needs. Finally, our day-of staff were superb. David was our maître d’ and at our initial meeting with him we knew our day was going to be nothing short of magnificent. Daniel was his right hand man and was there to assist us with anything we needed. Ashely was my bridal attendant and she was on point! Helping with my dress, veil, holding my flowers, and even helping my bridesmaids when disaster struck (don’t worry, she handled it beautifully and I didn’t even know until long after!) The entire staff at The Palace went above and beyond not only for us but for our guests as well. We are almost a week out from our wedding and our family and friends still cannot stop talking about our night. 11/10 would recommend to any other couple looking for a venue in New Jersey. Hands down the best venue, with the best staff, with the best food. -

We had our wedding at the Palace this past November and although we had to cut our guest list basically in half, we had the most perfect day. During the planning process, the Palace was so accommodating and flexible. Our wedding planner Alex F and the director of catering Jose were the people we planned most of our wedding through. They were always readily available for answer questions and talk about the next steps in regards to our wedding. They always emailed or called us back super fast. This team is very dependable and understanding.
They will work with you to get anything you want or need for your wedding day. The Palace takes care of any concerns and lets you just enjoy your way as a bride and groom.
My mom, sister, bridesmaids, and in laws were obsessed with the bridal suite. It was perfect, clean, and spacious. That should be a selling point for you guys, I have been in 7 weddings prior to my own and nothing measured up to the Palace's bridal suite. My husband also was able to arrive at the venue early and get ready with his groomsmen which he really appreciated. Usually there are not any designated areas for the groom and friends to get ready at venues.
The food was outstanding. Our cocktails, cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert was all served because of COBID-19 restrictions but the feedback from our guests was that they all enjoyed being served so much better. The food was outstanding!! SOOOOO good; everyone was raving about the delicious entrees and the cookies they got to take home at the end of the night. The servers apparently took very good care of their tables as our guests told me how attentive everyone was.
The grounds are so well kept, we took the most amazing pictures during daylight hours with the flowers in the background and at the with the Palace lit up as the backdrop. There is so much space in the east ballroom, our guests were very well spread out and all felt comfortable attending our wedding.
Our maître d David ran the show completely the day of our wedding, we were so happy to have him by our side. He had so much patience and guided us every step of the way, from organizing all our pictures, making sure our champagne glasses were put out for our toast and packed back up, to making sure the day ran smoothly for the bridal party, coordinating the cake cutting, and making sure the ceremony was flawless. I appreciated that he took control and ran the ceremony rehearsal for us, that was a big help!!
The bride and groom have bridal attendants assigned to them for the day, I had Ashley and Breanna who were so attentive and helped us and our family out through out the day. Ashley had to sew one of the groomen's pants the ripped. She greeted us with cocktails the second we walked down the aisle after our wedding ceremony which really stuck out in my our mind as a great detail.
I cannot say thank you enough to everyone. Once the world gets back to better times, have your wedding here!! You, your family, friends, and vendors will have an amazing time and the most perfect wedding day. There isn't enough good things to say about our experience here. -

From the moment we walked into the Palace we knew that this would be the perfect place to have our wedding. Everyone has been extremely helpful since day one and we are so sad that COVID has interrupted our plans. That being said, I cannot say enough good things about the Palace, and especially Alex, who has helped us through this difficult time and has made everything so easy on us - including working with us to cancel our wedding. The Palace has gone above and beyond and I would 100% recommend them to any couple. -

The entire staff at the Palace of Somerset was amazing. From my first walk through I knew this venue was where John and I would get married. The staff we worked with in planning our day was attentive, knowledgeable and caring. From day one we felt like we were important to the venue not just another couple. The Palace was attentive and accommodating to our needs and desires. They went above and beyond for us. The day of my wedding everything ran smoothly. Our day of host was AMAZING!!! To this day my grandmother still talks about how amazing he was. My Friday suite attendant was AMAZING she was attentive but not overbearing. She was helpful and so kind to not only me as the bride but also my bridal party and family. It only was the service the food was amazing from cocktail to the Venetian bar was absolutely perfect. You can not go wrong with the Palace. -

I am extremely happy that we chose the Palace for our wedding venue. The grounds are beautiful inside and out. Every staff member that we came in contact with was friendly and helpful in every way. When we first did out walk through with Jose we were in love with how beautiful it is. After discussing prices and everything that is included we were hooked. he reserved a date that same day. Our wedding coordinated Alexandra was so helpful in the process. She always relied in a timely matter to all of my emails and questions. She was always polite and it made me feel so comfortable with choosing the Palace.
After the food tasting event, I couldn't wait for the guests to taste all the food included. Everyone loved it. The guests have been telling us how much they loved the food and drinks, which made me so happy.
Our Maitre'D Joshua, was so amazing the day of the wedding. My anxiety was at an all time high lol and he was so calm and was assuring me that everything is actually going great which was very helpful. My family had nothing but great things to say about him. I am so thankful.
My bridal attendant Ashley, just amazing. She was just absolutely amazing and helpful all day. From setting up the bridal suite, to steaming my dress and veil, to helping me put on my wedding dress, to watching the ceremony entrances with me on the TV screen at the top of the stairs, to making sure we had food from the cocktail hour brought to the suite, to packing up food for us to go. I mean she did so much and I just love her for that. She is just beyond amazing. I mean I don't know what else to say besides thank you. Thank You from the bottom of my heart. I feel like I am forgetting some stuff but I am just overwhelmed with joy every time I think about March 1, 2020.

We just had our wedding at the Palace this past weekend and it was phenomenal! From beginning to the end, everything was perfect. David was our maitre’d and we wouldn’t of wanted anyone else. He was amazing, professional, on top of everything and attentive. He kept the whole wedding running smoothly and kept us at total ease. Ashley was our bridal attendant and she was amazing as well. By the end of the night she became my best friend. She helped me with everything throughout the entire day whether it was getting me a drink, helping me carry my dress, making sure I eat and helping me use the restroom (LOL). She covered everything! I felt so comfortable with her and she was a complete help and made me feel like a princess. David and Ashley are the best team. They are the dynamic duo! We are so happy with our decision booking the Palace. Our guest were blown away by the service, the food (OMG it was so delicious!!), how beautiful the venue is and all around everything the venue had to offer. We are sad that the wedding is over and it flew by so quickly but we will never forget our beautiful day at the Palace. There was not one thing we would have changed. Don’t hesitate to book the Palace. They are the absolute BEST!!
