Wedding of our dreams!
We can not express how happy we are with The Palace at Somerset Park. Our wedding was in July and it was the night of our dreams. Everything throughout the entire planning process was done so well. Our wedding planner Ella was fantastic, she left no detail out and made us feel very prepared for our wedding day. We felt The Palace went above and beyond in many aspects of the planning process. They recommended fantastic preferred vendors, set up a beautiful tasting for us to sample food and drinks and were organized all the way up to the final meetings the day before the wedding. Our wedding day itself left us speechless. Marcia was our Maitre D' and she was wonderful, she made the evening run so smooth and made us truly feel like the guests of honor, she took all the thinking out of our hands, made sure we were at the right place at the right time so we could enjoy the night. The East Ballroom is absolutely beautiful, the cocktail hour display was incredibly impressive, all of our guests were blown away by the options and quality of the food. The viennese was something out of a movie, the entire grand foyer was filled with dessert wall to wall. On top of the beauty and quality of food at The Palace, the service was incredible. The bartenders and servers were so polite, very helpful and incredibly attentive to every table. We really can not put it into any more words how wonderful our wedding was, we highly recommend The Palace at Somerset Park.We can not express how happy we are with The Palace at Somerset Park. We had roger and Marcia as our maitre d's and they were both great and made sure everything went as planned. My bridal attendant also made sure I was taken care of all day. Food was amazing. Would 100% recommend them to all future brides. Great price and only one package option so it makes things far less complicated. Alex was our event coordinator leading up to the day and I cannot say enough amazing things. The sheer number of emails I sent her and she graciously answered them all.10/10

A fairytale wedding at The Palace
What can I say? Our wedding at the Palace exceeded our wildest expectations; we literally could not have dreamed for a more perfect day. From start to end, we felt cared for and focused on. While this review is lengthy, we felt it was important to give credit where credit is due!
The bridal suite was huge, with two changing rooms and common lounge, absolutely perfect for our large bridal party of 10 bridesmaids. The groomsmen suite was equally impressive, with plenty of room to get ready.
The actual venue itself was beautiful. Driving in, it truly looks like a palace, and we were happy to see that we had our own parking area and guest entrance. We had our ceremony in the grand foyer, which comfortably sat our 200+ guests. The entrance of the bride was spectacularly, beautifully designed to showcase her. The cocktail hour food was unbelievable, and guests came up to personally tell us how much they enjoyed it! And the reception space was incredible. It felt spacious and elegant. The lighting was perfect and the staff was efficient and progressional. Of course, the reception food was spectacular as well!
Finally, and most importantly, our Maitre D and bridal attendant were vital to us having the time of our lives. The bridal attendant, Ashley, made us feel so cared for, checking up on us constantly and addressing any of our requests. She made sure we ate, which is something we didn’t expect we needed, bringing us a whole tray of the cocktail hour food, holding our reception dinner to keep it warm and even collecting an assortment of the desserts! Our Maitre D, David, absolutely ran the show. He worked seamlessly with our wedding planner, making sure we remained on schedule while somehow not making us feel rushed. He was super flexible, accommodating last second changes. He was clear and concise with his instructions, and as a result, the day went so smoothly! To top it off, he made sure that we had all of our stuff at the end of the day, going as far as helping us load our cars.
To sum up our experience at the Palace, they made our ideal wedding come to life. Every single detail matters to them, which made our day so special. If you’re considering the Palace, absolutely go for it. You won’t regret it!What can I say? Above and beyond expectations
We got married on 2/19 (east house) and we're still over the moon about our wedding. Everything about the palace is impeccable even for the most wedding anxious. The palace takes care of so many aspects of the entire wedding and does them all absolutely flawlessly. The grounds and interior is breathtaking, the food and drinks are absolutely delicious, and the staff are fantastic
Even with hosting our event in february without the usual spring greenery the grounds are positively gorgeous and make for beautiful pictures. The venue interior is just as gorgeous (also the bridal suite is massive with 4 dedicated prep stations) and honestly was picture perfect as it was on so many fronts. The food was so good we had people afterwards saying they weren't prepared for the viennese dessert bar, but somehow everyone still made space it was that good. We worked with Rachel Citron for our wedding planning and coordinated with Ella for venue coordination, David as maitre'd and Sabrina and Miriam as bridal attendants. Honestly the attentiveness and care of all the staff really helped make so much of our wedding (prep and execution) go off with minimal stress
It reads like a paid ad, but there really is nothing I could possibly nitpick at that I would have done differently. Best place to Host your next event
We celebrated my daughter's sweet 16th at the Palace. This breathtaking venue lives up to its name. The Palace is absolutely the best place for hosting your event. The staff made us feel like royalty. The planning process with Ella was flawless. Every employee that I came across at the Palace was a delight. Our Maître d, David was simply excellent, the day of the event. He took care of everything from start to finish. He made the guests feel welcomed and took care of all the details including keeping the program on-time. The event was a night to remember because of folks like Alan, Vanessa and Joy who were the best. I would highly recommend this venue because the staff is simply top notch. Our guests all have given feedback about this amazing venue and can't say enough about how they felt like royalty. Dream Wedding Venue 😍
The Palace was the first venue we toured, and we fell in love instantly. This venue has EVERYTHING—beautiful grounds, exquisite ballrooms and suites, an insane variety of delicious food, and the most incredible and accommodating staff. We had the pleasure of having Antonia as our event planner—she worked very closely and patiently with us for a little over a year to make sure that we were on track for wedding prep. We also had a wonderful experience with our maître d’ David, and our bridal attendants Sabrina and Mirian—they took such great care of us on our wedding day, including making sure both of us were fed (very important)! It’s almost as if they already knew of any potential problems and immediately got rid of them before we even had a chance to stress out! Our guests are still raving about the food, especially the cocktail hour and Viennese dessert display—they loved that there was something for everyone to enjoy. Honestly, we could go on about how much we love the Palace for giving us our dream wedding, but we’ll let the Palace speak for itself! No other venue compares!
We had our wedding at The Palace on August 21st, and we could not have asked for a better experience than we had with this venue! From the start, we worked with Richard for touring and booking. He was incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions, and scheduling and extra tour when my fiancé could not attend the first one last minute due to work.
Once we booked, we worked with Antonia Lauber, who was incredibly communicative throughout the 11 months leading up to our event. She was quick to clarify, accommodating with requests, and a joy to meet with when we had our planning session.
We felt incredibly cared for at our tasting, which was run by one of the maitre d's, I believe his name was Daniel. He was very personable and friendly, sharing lots of information on the menu and even more stories about events he's worked at The Palace. We knew with Daniel we were in excellent hands.
Our maitre d' for the event itself was Matthew. Matthew ROCKS. As a director for a living, I like to be in charge of my own projects and not give up control. I felt at ease handing the reigns over to Matthew and was confident and comfortable knowing that he would make the day effortless and enjoyable for us. Matthew made us feel like a priority, and we are so THANKFUL for all the effort he put into our day.
I had two bridal attendants, one who was in training. I feel awful for not remembering their names because they were immensely helpful throughout the day to both me and my party. Thank you for your efforts and your attention throughout my day!
We had a number of guests with physical disabilities, dietary requests, and life threatening food allergies. This was navigated perfectly by the venue. The Palace made my guests feel like they weren't being "accommodated", but instead like they were being catered to equally and equitably, without loss of any part of the experience. Thank you to all the servers and bartenders who worked with Matthew that day for making ALL my guests feel welcomed.
All of this, coupled with the breathtaking aesthetics, the ENORMOUS amount of food included, and the bang for your buck, has me raving about The Palace to everyone I know. The Palace is elegance in a venue!
The Palace at Somerset Park is elegance in a venue. Now only is the venue itself beautiful and memorable but the staff are AMAZING.
Leading up to the wedding, Antonia from the Palace helped us out with any and every questions we had. Her response times and professionalism was UNBELIEVABLE!
During the wedding day, we were assigned a maître de- David, who was AMAZING! We did not have to worry about a single thing the entire day. Food, décor, and venue setup just happened without a single stress on the family or bride/groom.
There is something to be said when multiple people come up to the bride and groom leading up to the wedding or during their wedding day and say "You don't look stressed at all" or "how do you have down time"
This was all truly due to the amazing staff at the Palace and how they handled our event.
As a bride who is VERY type-A, after I met Antonia and David, I did not have a single worry or stress that the wedding would not go smoothly.
Also during my wedding day I had bridal assistants by my side at ALL times. Saying ladies went ABOVE and BEYOND is an understatement. Weather it was a drink, water (bottle opened with a biodegradable straw inserted), or food the assistant would be ready and give me anything I needed throughout the day. Leading up to the wedding my husband and I told ourselves that we did not want to be one of those couples that did not eat any of the food at their own wedding. Well the Bridal Assistants and Palace staff not only made sure we tried everything, we also has some food packed to fully enjoy the next day.
When it comes to a venue I would HIGHLY recommend the future bride and groom to not only look at the vibe of the venue but also understand what the staff is willing to do during your event.

Awesome Venue & Support staff
We cannot say enough about how amazing and fantastic The Palace is. From start to finish, the service and staff were a delight to work with. Every aspect of the venue is absolutely gorgeous. We very much appreciated the responsiveness, professionalism, attention to detail and engaging staff. Coordinating with Alexandra was top notch and she took care of all the details leading up to the wedding day. The day of staff, Brad, Daniel and Matt along with the bridal attendants made us feel so comfortable and stress free the entire day!We cannot say enough about how amazing and fantastic The Palace is. From start to finish, the service and staff were a delight to work with. Every aspect of the venue is absolutely gorgeous. We recently held our fairly large South Asian wedding at the Palace of Somerset. Everyone knows how important food is for wedding events. As the father of the bride, I wish to compliment Neeraj, Rahul and the entire Moghul catering staff for their service and the delicious food they served for our daughter’s wedding. Also the Palace of Somerset team for the excellent facilities and services provided during wedding. The Palace cocktails, dinner and venetian dessert buffets were top notch and well presented. The both teams truly catered to our needs. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any items as our guests are still raving about the menus and overwhelmingly complimentary.
Both teams worked with us continually to make this wedding happen. We are happy to say all of our events went perfect. Amazing white glove service with The Palace
Our wedding had about 320 guests and we rented out the entire house for a full day event.
From the beginning the staff at the Palace was super professional and made us feel like we were in good hands. During our initial visit, they walked us through all of the amenities and how they could accommodate a mixed Hindu/western wedding.
The venue itself is fantastic. The bride and groom suites are very large, the grounds have many places to take photos, and the architecture is simply put, grand.
The Palace is definitely not cheap but you do get a whiteglove service. Here are a few examples that really stick out:
Richard, our initial sales person, walked us around the premises. He asked all the right questions to understand our needs and listened very carefully to our feedback and wishes. They asked about the baraat, suggested a place and positioning of the mandap, knew that there would be dietary restrictions the day of, and many more small details that made us feel like they had done this many times before and this was all on the first meeting.
Antonia, our wedding planner, that we were talking to for the months leading up to the event was extremely patient, even when we were thrashing on decisions. She had very good response time when answering our many questions over email and could quickly update room arrangements when we made new requests.
Our maitre ‘d, David, was on the ball the week before and all day on the day off. He had several recommendations for how we should make our appearances and listened to my father in law’s very specific requests for food placement. On the wedding day, his energy levels somehow remained high throughout the entire 14 hour event and through his earpiece he could seemingly summon anything and anyone at will. He had recommendations whenever they were needed and guided us on the parts that we might have stumbled through. For example, when we were cutting the cake, he made sure to stay out of photographs but we could clearly hear him say “Now move the knife an inch to the right and make another cut…”
The bridal assistants (Ashley, Palak,and Anhila) on the day of were amazingly professional. They made sure all of our food and beverage needs were taken care of, they would relay messages between the suites, and bustled the bride’s dress after the ceremony.
Pricing was straightforward and they stuck to the contract but make sure you understand which catering will be handled by them or an external caterer when you sign the contract. They will not try to nickel and dime you or do hidden upcharges. The perfect wedding venue
The Palace was the perfect wedding venue and our Maitre'd David was the absolute best! If you have a chance to request him for your weekend, you 100% should! The team leading up to the wedding was so helpful- answering all of our questions and making accommodations and exceptions to make sure that our day was so special. The guests absolutely were floored with everything from the décor, the presentation, the cocktail hour food, the dinner, and the dessert display- they all said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. During the day getting ready at the Palace was wonderful and the staff were super attentive to our needs. Overall, the venue is not only elegant and classy, it is fun, open, and the perfect place for your special day! We will always recommend the Palace to anyone who is looking to book a venue!The Palace was the perfect wedding venue and our Maitre'd David was the absolute best! The Wedding of our dreams
The Palace at Somerset is definitely a beautiful and amazing venue to have a wedding! I was so pleased with the service that the staff provided my husband and I! Between our Maitre D, David, Event Planner Antonia, and even the bridal attendant they all made sure the entire night flowed smoothly and elegantly and that me, the bride was happy and taken care of. From the staff to the food & deserts, and even the beautiful building architecture, it was absolutely perfect for photos and guests. Overall it was everything we hoped for on our wedding day. Amazing Venue with a experienced staff
We choose this Venue back in March and had the wedding in December. We are very glad we choose this place as they are great with planning. Wedding planning is daunting and has a lot of boxes to check off. The Palace comes with a wedding planner, Maitre D, and Bridal attendant to help everything come together.
The wedding planner was able fill in the large details where we can start to align the vision of the wedding. The Maitre D/Banquet Manager we worked with is amazing. He was able to work on the many smaller details. He was able to coordinate with all the vendors to make sure the day goes smoothly. My wife and I were able to mentally check out of planning and truly enjoy our day. Lastly the bridal attendant helped my wife get all the items she needed for the day.
A big plus is that you will have time to eat. You can have the cocktail hour food brought to your suite if you want to take a break. During the reception they will give you your main course plus small side dishes of the other main entrees. On top of they they will make sure you have you glasses filled with what ever drink you have, even cocktails.
The venue alone is a beautiful place that has rooms that can fit 100 - 185 people (west room) or 185+ (east room). The have suites for the bride and the groom to prepare & relax for the day. They have outside seating where you and your guests can enjoy all year round (they have outside heaters and fire pits). The one notable thing our guests kept on mentioning is how good the cocktail hour is.
Highly recommend.

Our wedding day was perfect! Thanks to David our Maitre'D, Ashley my bridal attendant, and the rest of the Palace staff. Amazing! Highly Recommend
On 12/26/2021, I had my reception at The Palace. We originally booked in 2019 for an April 2021 date, but ultimately had to move it due to COVID. From the day we had the tour with the Palace, we felt at ease and comfortable with everyone there. As soon as papers were signed, we started working with Traci who helped us navigate through all of COVID. When we made the decision to move, The Palace was unbelievable accommodating to the situation and made the entire process to move our date easy. We had booked the entire venue given our original headcount and were limited with dates to move to, but they worked with us to find a new date that worked. When Traci went on maternity leave, we started working with Antonia. Both Traci and Antonia answered all our crazy questions and kept us at ease planning a wedding through a pandemic. On the day of, David was our maître d and Ashley was my bridal attendant. The two of them are a match made in heaven. They were both extremely attentive and made the day enjoyable and managed everything for us. The food at the palace is unbelievably good and for a reception of over 200 people, everyone’s steak was cooked medium/medium well. Cocktail hour and the Viennese dessert were also outstanding. They had every option we could have wanted and we kept hearing from our guests how good the food was. We also requested the meat to be halal and the Palace was able to accommodate this for us as well which was extremely important for my family. When we were below our contracted minimum due to COVID, The Palace provided options for us to make up the difference which also made the overall wedding planning process seamless. Overall I would recommend The Palace to anyone who is looking to host an event. AMAZING wedding venue!
We had THE BEST experience with the Palace as our wedding venue. The maitre'd (David) and palace planner (Alex Favale) were truly AMAZING. They coordinated every detail with us, went above and beyond with any request we had, and allowed us to have the best day of our lives. The perfect night!!!
Where do I even begin!! The food was impeccable. My guest would not stop raving about it. And THE SERVICE was unmatched. My bridal attendant Anahi was terrific. There was nothing she couldn’t or wouldn’t do. She paid attention to every detail, remedied all our mistakes with decor, made sure we ate well, was super pleasant and all around a great help. She literally was one of the biggest reasons are wedding went so well. Management if you’re reading this PLEASE give her a raise. She’s amazing. Now for our maitre’d Josh!! He killed it. Breathtaking venue and incredible staff
From the moment we walked into The Palace and met with Kara back in 2018, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married at! The revenue is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is honestly the best I have ever experienced.
Due to Covid, our June 2020 wedding was pushed to July 2021. We were devastated but Alex and Antonia eased our nerves as we prepared for another year of our engagement. From start to finish The Palace staff was phenomenal to work with. I work in events, so I constantly reached out to Antonia with questions regarding our floor plan, covid restrictions etc. and she always got back to me instantly and was such a pleasure to work with.
Daniel, the catering manager was so nice at our tasting in April, he came up to our table and explained the current restrictions and the hope that they would be lifted by our July wedding.
The days leading up to our wedding Antonia and Josh made our wedding perfect. We met with Josh to go over all of our details and when we walked into The Palace everything looked perfect. Anytime we were looking for Josh, before we could even say where is Josh he was right there making sure we were happy and making sure our parents and all our guests were having a great time. Days after the wedding our guests are still telling us how beautiful the venue was, how impressed they were with the food menu (guests were loving the raw bar and hibachi station and of course the Viennese display), and how great the staff was onsite. An absolute fairy tale from beginning to end!
My husband and I got married at The Palace on June 12,2021 and we could not be more happy. I had a vision for what our big day would be like and because of everyone at the palace, the reality was a million times better than anything I could have imagined. Everyone from the start of planning our wedding up to the actual day where beyond incredible. Antonia was our planner and she was always easy to get in touch with, responsive to all my many emails and answered all my questions. Josh was our Maitre d’ and he was absolutely incredible!! He handled every single detail of that day so that every moment was executed perfectly. His attention to detail was unreal, he kept us on track with where we needed to be and anything we needed was taken care of.
The staff that was taking care of our guest and serving food and drinks where unlike anything I’ve seen before. One of our guests actually said they felt like royalty. Everyone’s meals where served at the same time and no one even had a chance to ask for a refill on their drink because the staff was so attentive to their needs. They truly are like a well oiled machine.
I could go on and on about our amazing experience but, bottom line is if you are looking for a venue who knows what they are doing, provides the best service so your day is incredible for you and your guest, The Palace is the venue you want!

My husband and I got married at The Palace on June 12,2021 and we could not be more happy. I had a vision for what our big day would be like and because of everyone at the palace, the reality was a million times better than anything I could have imagined.
