We had our wedding and reception at the Marigold in August 2024, and the day could not have been more perfect! Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the entire Marigold staff was incredible to work with throughout the entire process. We initially worked with Dave, one of the owners, to plan everything, and then with the rest of the team on the day of. Chang, our Maitre D, was very organized and kept our day on time, while overseeing all of the set up and breakdown of each part of the events. And a very special thanks to Ninfa, our bridal attendant, who was by my (bride) side from 5am to midnight and anticipated not only my needs, but also the groom's and our parents' needs even better than we could. She made all the difference.
Our guests all enjoyed the wedding very much, and are still complimenting us on how the day went. We highly recommend having an event at the Marigold – they are experts at what they do and it shows!

The Marigold was a venue that came highly recommended. Even during our initial visit to tour the place and to meet with Dave Bajaj, we became aware as to why it was highly recommended. It provides a perfect combination of aesthetics, ambience, professionalism and service. Every guest who came to the wedding enjoyed the whole experience. as did every vendor we chose - from catering to decorations to sound. On an important day, the last thing we want to be bothered with are little details; and the staff at The Marigold ensured that it was so - a stress-free, enjoyable day that we will cherish for our lifetimes. While the entire team at The Marigold are truly exceptional, I want to give a special mention to Dave who was there all through the process, Samantha who helped coordinate all details a few weeks prior to the wedding, and to Nimfa and Marcela who both ensured that everything went off seamlessly on the day of the event. If you are looking for a special place for your special day, look no further!

I am BEYOND happy that I selected to have my wedding at the Marigold. I had a large inter-racial wedding and there were a LOT of moving parts but the team at Marigold- Marciella and Nifia made it such a effortless and easy day. They were there for my every need, wish, request, and constantly checking in and it helped make everything go seamlessly.

I knew the marigold had fantastic customer service when I picked them, but to see the level of commitment and care they had for me, my family, and our wedding, solidified that we made the right decision!!!

If I could give The Marigold more than 5 stars, I would. The Marigold was my wife and my second stop when we were venue hunting. It was immediately my favorite venue from the start. The grounds are beautiful and I knew it would be perfect for our fall wedding. Lisa was incredible. She was so attentive in answering all my questions, no matter how crazy I thought they were or how many emails I sent. The food package was insane and more that I could've ever imagined that we would have at our wedding. We had everything we ever wanted: amazing cocktail hour, amazing dinner options, and the dessert.. oh the desert! When Lisa mentioned a Donut Wall and Ice Cream Sundae Bar, my wife was sold. There was no way we would choose any other venue. Lisa also recommended a pop up espresso vendor being that the venue does not serve espresso. I was so appreciative because that was something my dad requested (it was a hit!). The food was to die for. Absolutely incredible and exceeded our expectations. People are still talking about how amazing the food was. We also have a few vegetarians in our wedding and Lisa provided so many options for us to choose from. The one we went with was a hit with those family members, which made us very happy. There aren't enough words to express our gratitude for Ninfa (bridal attendant) and Marcella (maître d). They made this day go so smooth. If anything went wrong, we had no idea about it. Everything was handled for us and I couldn't be more appreciative. Ninfa was my right hand the whole day. She went above and beyond with anything and everything that my wife and I needed, from helping me change shoes and bustling my dress to making sure my wife's vest was sitting correctly and tying her shoes. Marcella was the backbone of the whole day. She was attentive to all the needs of that day, making sure I was being taken care of versus me trying to take care of everyone else. She had my back and made sure Ashley and I had everything we needed. Anything we had questions on throughout the night, she was our go to. The staff was so incredibly nice and were the most amazing team I could've asked for in a venue. The bartenders were so positive and full of smiles to us and our guests. My dad requested espresso martinis (with the help of Cupa Cabana) and the bartenders made them absolutely perfect. It was such a nice touch to the end of the evening. I could go on and on about The Marigold and how amazing our wedding was. It was one neither us or our guests will ever forget. Thank you so much to Lisa and the staff of The Marigold for everything. It really was our dream wedding thanks to you all.

We had our wedding at The Marigold this past weekend and were amazed by how PERFECT everything was executed. We worked with Dave, one of the owners, throughout the planning process and he was always present to answer any questions we had. We had no problem putting all of our trust in him after realizing what a sincere and professional person he was. For example, we had a last minute emergency and he called us at 1030pm the night before the wedding morning to get it resolved. The venue provides you with the support of a Maitre D - Chang and Bridal Assistant - Ninfa - who will go above and beyond for you the day of the wedding. They were the real VIPs. Anytime we needed something, they made it happen within minutes. Given our disappointment with our own wedding planner, we still believe that our day went smooth mainly because of Ninfa and Chang's service. The venue itself looked even more beautiful once the cocktail rooms and ballroom were set up. The built in uplighting and intelligence lighting were a plus. Our guests are still giving us compliments. We now hope to attend a wedding at this venue so we can have the same experience our guests had. Thank you Dave, Ninfa & Chang.

Had my wedding here on 5/21/22. Can't speak highly enough about the professionalism of the Marigold staff. They were prompt in answering our questions and addressing our concerns during the wedding planning process. Staff on the day of were excellent. Mr. Chang was extremely great to work with on the day of. He made sure the procession ran very smoothly. Venue was stunning and all of our guests had an amazing time!

We had our reception at marigold on Oct 17th and let me start off by this was by far the greatest experience we've ever had. From day 1 at the site visit, marigold from its entrance itself has a warm and welcoming vibe. This is further enhanced by the hospitality of their great staff. From dealing with Jamie, Lisa and eventually Marcela and her team we have nothing but great things to say about each and every one. Everyone is so down to earth including the owner Tony, who literally held my dress train prior to our entrance. This is the kind of service you get here. They are certainly within a budget friendly wedding/reception venue with the feeling of having a lavish/luxurious event. I would certainly choose Marigold and even recommend them to all my family/friends.

The Marigold is an absolutely beautiful venue with an amazing interior as well as outdoor garden / patio area. I had my Pre-Wedding events, The Vidhi/Pithi & Garba at Marigold on September 10, 2021 and it was one hell of an amazing experience. Originally my events were scheduled for November 6, 2020 but due to covid we had to postpone.The Bajaj Brothers were extremely friendly, flexible and helped us in every possible way with all the postponements and were able to make our events a huge success. As the bride, my expectations were surpassed with how amazing their overall service and bridal attendants were and staff were. Every single person in attendance truly enjoyed their experience and have not stopped raving about how grand all of our Pre-Wedding events turned out. My Family and I loved our experience with this venue and would 1000 percent recommend it to other brides and grooms for all of their wedding events.

The staff is absolutely amazing. Guests told us it was the most professional and well serviced venue they had ever been to. Ninfa was the most amazing bridal attendant. She made sure I enjoyed the whole day, kept my husband and I fed, and made sure we were picture perfect. The venue is gorgeous and fairly priced. I would absolutely recommend them.

The Marigold in Somerset was the perfect wedding venue! It was beautiful, the staff was amazing, and it was affordable. Lisa helped us plan every detail and Marcella was an amazing coordinator on the evening of the wedding in working with our Emcee to make sure everything went perfectly! All of this was included in the already reasonable rates--in other words, I was able to plan and hold the wedding without hiring an outside planner and coordinator!!
Dave at the Marigold made every step of the process smooth and easy for us. He supported us throughout the planning process and responded to every call and text even on his days off! I couldn't have imagined picking a better venue for my daughter's wedding. I highly recommend The Marigold in Somerset, NJ!

The Marigold was absolutely amazing from start to end our experience was amazing. The staff, the beautiful venue, the food was top notch. The staff went above and beyond for us until the very last minute of the reception. They were very accommodating to us with us having to change our wedding date due to covid. Lisa and everyone there was amazing. You will not be disappointed!!

My husband and I held our wedding reception here in October 2019 and had a wonderful experience. Lisa was lovely to work with throughout the planning process, always available to answer questions and even helping us work through some tricky last minute changes. The venue itself is gorgeous with both indoor and outdoor settings for guests to enjoy and pictures to be taken. I especially appreciated that there are separate spaces for cocktail hour and dinner. My guests raved about the food, especially the generous cocktail hour treats. The whole staff are incredibly professional and attentive and made the whole evening run so smoothly. And for this level of service and amenity, you can't beat the price! I would highly recommend The Marigold for your next event, wedding or otherwise.

The Marigold was a beautiful venue with the best staff possible to make our big day even more memorable. They made sure that everything was well coordinated and in order and ensured that the day was stress-free. We wanted our wedding to be an event where our friends and family can come together and be a memorial event - and this was definitely a great choice for us!

We recently had our wedding at the Marigold on October 19th and it was truly unforgettable. The Marigold had a beautiful outdoor gazebo for our ceremony, a wonderful glass cocktail hour area with seating inside and outside for guests, and the reception hall had built in lighting as well as projectors that made this venue such a hit.

Big thank you to the Marigold and their team for making our wedding day so smooth and effortless. I highly recommend this venue as they are truly accommodating to anything you need!

The whole event was made easy by this excellent establishment and their employees.

We worked with Lisa when choosing this venue and through the whole planning process, and she always made sure we had all the information needed so we understood what was happening and when. From choosing the menu to the decor and details even down to the type of tables we wanted she was incredibly helpful through it all. The night of the wedding we had exceptional service! We always had enough to eat and drink, and were always asked if there was anything else we needed. The food during the cocktail hour was both abundant and delicious! Our main dish and accompanying dishes were just as generous and delicious as well! The employees were on top of every dish, drink and/or dessert that was coming out, and made sure everyone was served accordingly. Overall a very classy presentation and great service from all involved at the Marigold!

I'd like to thank The Marigold for a wonderful event. One that I may add will be cherished forever.
My husband and I couldn't have selected a better wedding venue than The Marigold. This was the first venue that we checked out and instantly knew we found exactly what we were looking for. The staff was easy to work with and not only was the venue much nicer in person than the photos they gave us a price that couldn't be beat. One of the most important parts of.a wedding is the food and their cooks did a phenomenal job. Our guest told us that this was hands down the best wedding that they've ever been to, that speaks volumes.

My husband and I had our wedding at The Marigold and words cannot express how beautiful everything was. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of food, atmosphere, scenery and overall experience. Julie, Lisa and Marcella were absolutely PERFECT. The food and drinks were great! All of our guests commented on the quality of food being served. I must say the venue played a huge part in the success of our wedding. We had our daughter sweet sixteen party at Marigold and it was just spectacular. Everyone had an amazing and unforgettable experience. Facility is very beautiful and spacious ( Main entry, cocktail reception area, outdoor arrangement and main ballroom hall ) which make every guest feel welcome and special. Mr Dave and his staff members are very humble and extremely professional . They made sure each and every detail was taken care of and executed the party flawlessly. We got great feedback from our guests and everyone had amazing time. The Marigold is absolutely breathtaking. We were not only satisfied but overjoyed with the liveliness of the staff members and Mr Dave himself. My daughter's quote says it all "Marigold made the best night of my life even more memorable" . Our daughter got married at The Marigold, in Somerset, NJ about two weeks ago, and we loved every minute of it. The venue is beautiful, elegant, and very well maintained. Our first contact Mr. Dave Bajaj was extremely helpful and friendly. Julianne was simply amazing, such a joy to work with and very knowledgeable. Everyone, including the MaitreD, and the wait staff were very efficient, accommodating, and respectful. The wedding cake and the Viennese Dessert Gala that we ordered, were very tasty, beautifully presented, and of high quality. We received many, many compliments from our guests about the venue, their service, their elegance. Best choice we made! Would gladly recommend The Marigold!!

When it came to choosing a venue for my now husband and I, it was extremely important that it embodied not only a beautiful and inviting atmosphere, but also a respectful and *truly* caring group of people.

Right from the very start, we were taken back at the willingness of speaking with my Fiance and I (at the time), because we didn't schedule an appointment. We actually ended up driving by and couldn't help but walk in. Although busy with another couple, we were greeted and taken right under their wing to do a walk through, as well as explain pricing, etc.

Needless to say, The Marigold is a stunning venue with beautiful landscaping and details throughout that lend to taking the most breathtaking pictures for your special day. My husband and I chose to only have pictures taken at the church we married in and The Marigold. We truly couldn't be anymore happier of that decision because every single photo came out stunning, whether outside or inside.

Although the venue itself is captivating, it was the respectfulness, generosity, and care that was given to my husband and I since the very beginning that drew us in. Not only was Julie a blessing in making our long-awaited wedding day one that will forever be etched in our minds, but she continuously went above and beyond in working with us to create a day that was meant for US. She listened to what we were looking for, offered advice/suggestions and ended up delivering the Wedding of Our Dreams. The amount of energy that went into creating this special day for us never went unnoticed. Julie worked endlessly to ensure that things were to be done how we wanted, but she and the amazing staff went further in exceeding both our expectations. On the day of our wedding, every single idea/plan was executed so beautifully that it honestly took our breath away.

There aren't enough words to explain just how incredible working with The Marigold has been, let alone the on the "day of" our Big Day.

We will forever be grateful that we were surrounded by not only our friends and loved ones on our wedding day, but that we were treated with the utmost respect, provided with endless amounts of help (from beginning to end!) and surrounded by the most hardworking staff whose work did not go unnoticed or unappreciated by ourselves and our guests.

After looking at many venues, this was the only venue that held their value when first speaking with them, up until the day of our wedding.

It's important for us to also point out that our vendors were thoroughly impressed how open, kind and willing The Marigold staff was at accommodating them and their needs. Any questions or concerns that they had were always met with care and compassion. This showed just how much The Marigold staff holds themselves to such a high standard when it comes to working well with others.

To say the least, there is no doubt in my mind that The Marigold, Julie and the entire staff will exceed anyones expectations, as they have done so with ours.

We would highly recommend The Marigold to anyone whose looking to see a vision of their day come to life in such spectacular ways that you'll forever be wondering how you got so "lucky" in crossing paths with such a wonderful team.

We had our wedding at the Marigold a few weeks ago. When we first started planning, I wanted anything but a wedding at a "typical" banquet hall, but due to the large number of guests we had we were limited in our options, and mainly had to choose from hotel ballrooms and banquet halls. I have to say I am SO SO glad we went with the Marigold for our venue because it definitely is not your average banquet hall. We had our ceremony outside in their patio, and the reception was held indoors in their larger ballroom. The entire staff at Marigold were extremely responsive throughout our planning process, fairly quick to reply to emails and phone calls, and were accommodating every time we requested to drop by the venue to see it as we were planning our decorations and centerpieces. The day of the wedding, the service staff were AWESOME, and I have to give a huge shout out to Chang, who was so attentive throughout the entire day and night bringing us food and drinks, taking care of our parents and bridal party's requests, and made sure that everything was on track and on time throughout the entire day! He is extremely professional, warm and kind and we really could not have done it without him.

The amenities also made this place worth every penny and are also what set the Marigold aside from other ballrooms/banquet halls - from the very spacious bridal suites which we used to get everyone ready in, to the built in lighting in each ballroom which created the ambiance that we were looking for, and the unique glass room which we used for cocktail hour (one of my absolute favorite features of the venue), and more. I cannot recommend this place enough, especially if you're looking for a venue to accommodate a large number of guests and for a place that will treat you like royalty the day of your wedding!

An amazing place. The attention they give is great and love to work with you. If you looking for a venue this is the place you would love to get marry.

We we're looking for a new venue for our daughters bat mitzvah. We had never heard of the marigold even though we lived nearby. We went with a hail Mary attitude and we're we floored. The place is magnificent. It comes off as simply elegant. Literally you can bring the flowers but that's about all you need for this place. Awesome.

Even better than the facility is the service. We met with Jimmy and the service couldn't have been better. After signing it was he pursuing us for answers to every detail. He wouldn't let anything be left fir chance.

On the day if the event we met with the team and they executed on everything. During the event it felt like someone was always looking to see if there was something I needed or wanted changed.

The photographer wasnted the grand chandelier dimmed... Well someone jumped to it.
