The wedding went exceptionally well. Katlyn the wedding g Director is amazing and she will make sure everything goes perfectly as. She is on top of everything and makes sure you are on schedule with everything. The room was beautiful and the staff was great. The ambiance was superb. With guests staying at the hotel it made the whole event seamless and easy. I would totally recommend that you book this venue and Katlyn will make your big day the best!

Perfect wedding venue
Our wedding at The Grand Hotel was magical!! My husband and I are not great planners, but we had the goal to save money by not hiring a wedding planner. From the moment we arrived for the first tour through the end of the after party, Katlyn and her team made us feel totally taken care of! Every step of the planning process was as easy as could be, and even fun. The space is so beautiful, and the cost was the best we saw after looking into 5 other venues in the area. Truly a dream come true!

Grand Hotel Wedding of Dreams
We cannot say enough amazing things about the Grand Hotel and are amazing experience there. We had our reception and cocktail hour on the sundeck 9/12/25 which had beautiful views. The reception area was indoors and had beautiful panoramic views of the ocean. My guests have continued to rave about the wedding. The food was INCREDIBLE. The chef was amazing at the tasting, and although out wedding had over 200 people, the food was just as delicious at the wedding as it was at the tasting.
The best part of the whole process was Katlyn the wonderful coordinator. From start to finish, she truly went above and beyond. She was incredibly attentive, always available, and answered every question promptly. Her organization and attention to detail made every step of the wedding process feel smooth and stress free. On top of her professionalism, she has an amazing personality that made working with her such a joy. She genuinely cared about our vision and made us feel supported the entire way. We are so grateful for everything she did.

The best venue
We had the ABSOLUTE best experience at The Grand for our wedding. The front desk was a great resource during our wedding weekend and accommodated both ours and our guests needs. Everyone was SO friendly, we made friends with the staff at the hotel and Hemingways, and we felt like we created a little home away from home family. As soon as you walk in the hotel, that’s exactly what you feel. The food was absolutely incredible all week, the hotel was welcoming and decorated beautifully and our accommodations were clean and well stocked. Katlyn and her team are the friendliest, most accommodating individuals who went above and beyond for us during our special weekend. They were available all throughout the planning process, and we had a blast planning every detail, there was no stress whatsoever! It was the most perfect weekend. We can’t recommend this hotel and staff enough! We look forward to our future reservations at The Grand.

Peter & Tyler: The Perfect Wedding Day at The Grand!
We had our wedding at the Grand Hotel in Cape May, and it was truly the most beautiful day of our lives. The weather was perfect, the setting was stunning, and the entire team there went above and beyond to make everything feel magical.
Our wedding coordinator, Katlyn, and her team were absolute stars. They were organized, attentive, and made us feel so special and cared for from start to finish. Every detail was handled flawlessly, and we genuinely felt supported the entire day.
The food was incredible — our guests couldn’t stop raving about it — so a huge thank you to the chef and kitchen team. And we also want to shout out Bill, the manager at our after-party, for providing such excellent service and keeping the night running smoothly.

The perfect Cape May wedding
The Grand was the perfect place to get married in Cape May. From the moment we walked in for our first tour, every single person on staff was kind, accommodating, and genuinely excited for us. Their team goes above and beyond in every way. From planning to the big day itself, we always felt completely supported.
The food was absolutely incredible. We’re still hearing from guests that it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had! The pricing was honest and straightforward, with plenty of customization options to make sure our day felt like us.
Special shoutouts to Katlyn, Haley, and Liz. They made everything seamless. Their energy, organization, and warmth made the entire experience stress-free and unforgettable.

Working with Katlyn at The Grand Hotel was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Fabulous place for Food, Photos & Love
Our wedding reception at The Grand Hotel Cape May exceeded all our expectations—a truly magical day filled with love that was felt by everyone present. Katlyn Mogavero, the wedding planner, was attentive, creative, responsive, and incredibly positive. We felt like family throughout the process. The upper ballroom is an absolutely stunning setting with breathtaking views and an elegance that can't be beat. Cocktail hour was lively and enjoyable, with bartenders quickly serving our guests with delicious specialty cocktails upon request. Butlered hors d'oeuvres flowed effortlessly and seemed to go on endlessly. Katlyn kept us on schedule, allowing us to capture beautiful beach photos and still enjoy the cocktail hour comfortably. The filet dinner was a definite crowd favorite, and the salmon was also excellent—every menu item was a hit. The portions were generous, and leftovers were just as tasty! The band sounded fantastic in the ballroom, and the staff was courteous and attentive. Water glasses were always filled, and the team helped with setting up and dismantling our decorations. The after-party at Hemingway's, with snacks and dancing, was a perfect way to extend the celebration. We look back on this event with immense joy and happiness. A heartfelt thank you to Katlyn and the wonderful staff who made our reception absolutely perfect!

We cannot say enough amazing things about The Grand Hotel! From our very first tour to the day of our wedding, we had nothing but an incredible experience. Katlyn is truly AMAZING!! She guides you every step of the way, answers every question promptly, and never makes you feel like any request is too small or silly. We truly had the wedding of our DREAMS, and they take care of absolutely everything.

We had our wedding at the Grand in June. I cannot understate how incredible Katlyn was throughout the entire planning process. She answered all of our questions promptly and went above and beyond to provide recommendations for other events we were planning during the wedding weekend. The entire event felt so seamless. Our guests were so complimentary of how well the day flowed and it really just allowed the love to come through. I cannot recommend the Grand enough! The food and drinks were great. Katlyn even brought us the passed apps for us to eat at our table before dinner because we were so busy socializing during cocktail hour. All of our needs were handled without us even needing to think about them. If you’re looking for a venue in Cape May, look no further! You will not be disappointed.

Best Place to get Married!
Every step of the way with this venue was amazing and top notch. Katlyn the wedding coordinator is a gem. She is so responsive and knew every answer to my 19893 questions. We had stayed at the Grand and loved it before, but had no idea how attentive and accommodating the staff is when you get married there. They went above and beyond to make us feel special and to take away much of the stress of getting married. Katlyn coordinated with all the vendors the day of, so as the bride, everything was seamless. Haley the food and beverage manager made us signature cocktails and made sure the bride and groom were well fed since it's hard to sit and eat at your own wedding. The food was amazing and the guests raved about the quality and portion size. We got married on the sundeck and the views were utterly spectacular! You get a lot of service and quality for the price. If I could get married again, I would choose the Grand in a heartbeat!

The most INCREDIBLE wedding!
We had our wedding at The Grand Hotel last September, and it was even better than we could have imagined!
FOOD : The chef is so nice and incredibly talented. 10/10 for our cocktail hour appetizers (crowd favorites were the grilled cheese and tomato soup and coconut shrimp) and dinner choices (crowd favorite was the short ribs). We received a ton of compliments on the food - and if you ask my husband, the best part of wedding planning for him was the food tasting!
DRINKS : The Grand was very accommodating with drink choices. We were able to provide our own selection of liquor, and not only did we have three speciality drinks, but The Grand also created some fun mocktails for guests to enjoy. There was definitely no shortage of amazing drink choices for our guests.
VENUE : The location of The Grand was unbeatable. It is close to town (Washington Square Mall), right across from the beach, and a stone’s throw away from other hotel choices for guests. It is also nicely updated inside which made for a great experience. We chose to have our cocktail hour outside on the deck and our reception in the penthouse. The views were STUNNING and the space was definitely large enough to house our 180 guests.
KATLYN : OMG. Katlyn is the BEST. With only nine months to plan for the big day, I was feeling pretty stressed about everything. But then we met Katlyn, the wedding coordinator at The Grand, and she was a total lifesaver. She helped us with every little detail from start to finish. I thought I was organized, but Katlyn took it to a whole new level. Thanks to her, I could enjoy the process of wedding planning without having to worry about the small details. I only had to worry about crossing things off on her checklist! Katlyn was the perfect mix of a true professional and a bride’s best friend. She made sure everything went smoothly and that our vision really came to life. Since we didn’t know much about wedding planning, we were so grateful to have her guiding us through the whole process and she made sure everything was just perfect.
Overall, we are so happy that we chose to have our wedding at The Grand. It was truly a magical day and I would recommend them to anyone.

Our perfect autumn Cape May wedding!
Our wedding at The Grand Hotel was everything we had imagined and more. From the moment we toured the venue to the last moments of our celebration, the experience exceeded all expectations.
The venue offers an all-inclusive package that made planning a breeze. With catering, bartenders, tables, chairs, linens—everything was taken care of, which helped reduce the stress of managing multiple vendors. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, offering breathtaking views and creating the perfect atmosphere for our big day.
The staff at The Grand Hotel was outstanding—professional, friendly, and so much fun! We were lucky to work with our wedding coordinator, Katlyn, who was simply amazing. Her attention to detail was impeccable, and she made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Whether it was coordinating the timeline or setting up the venue, Katlyn and her team handled everything flawlessly. Beyond her professionalism, Katlyn's bubbly personality made it easy to relax and truly enjoy the day. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making our wedding special.

Oh, and the food delicious! Even at the tasting, it was tough to narrow down our choices. The Grand also allows you to incorporate personal touches, like the pasta dish we make regularly together at home, which they included during our cocktail hour. It was such a thoughtful addition! The chef and waitstaff were wonderful, and we had the pleasure of meeting our bartender Michael during our rehearsal day. He was so friendly and even gave us a tasting of one of our signature cocktails. The entire staff made us feel incredibly special throughout the weekend.

Best wedding experience ever!!!
My husband, Nic, and I got married at the Grand Hotel on 9/27/2024 and it was a dream come true! We have a deep fondness for Cape May and knew we wanted to get married There. My family has been coming to Cape May for years and now my parents have a house in the Villas. We have always adored Cape May and hoped that someday it was going to be the place we devoted ourselves to one another.
The moment we walked into the Grand Hotel and met Katlyn Mogavero, I knew the Grand was going to be where my husband and I would get married. Katlyn was(is) personable, excited, professional, thorough and FUN from the very beginning. I went with my mom to view the venue for the first time without thinking I would book it right then and there but I did because of Katlyn :). I called my husband and told him I had to book because of how much I loved Katlyn and what the Grand Hotel had to offer. Katlyn was a major reason that we booked at this venue and I am ELATED that we did. I trusted her with everything!
Katlyn was extremely prompt in responding whenever myself or my family had questions regarding planning. She was available for us and made everything feel so smooth in the planning. This was HUGE for us in not having to worry about any confusion or communication delays.
We had our ceremony in the sundeck (which is weather permitting- we dodged a bullet because it did rain most of the day except for when we did our pictures and had our ceremony outside!). It was perfect :) The food was AMAZING! When we did our tasting, we were truly impressed with what the chef had to offer. My husband is a chef so he can be hard to please at times so when he was impressed, I knew that was a game changer. All of our guests were raving about the food that night And into the weekend! We chose Chilean sea bass and herb crusted filet for our entrees and many yummy hors d’oeuvres. Everything was cooked to perfection! The Grand Hotel is a one stop shop, when it comes to guests having a place to stay (and neighboring hotels surrounding if it happens to book up- which ours did for such a large wedding) and having a place for a welcome gathering and afterparty- which was basically a club by the end of the night for us. It was truly just the BEST experience all around.
Katlyn and her team made Nic and I feel SO special throughout the whole process of wedding planning and especially on the big day, she made sure that we didn't have much to worry about. She made sure we had food in our bellies, a drink in our hands and our dancing shoes ready. She even pulled me into her office to bustle my dress before the reception and had a glass of my favorite wine delivered to me. Katlyn and her team were so accommodating and made our day feel so special and it was!
Katlyn has become a close friend throughout all of the planning of our wedding. She was absolutely a joy to work with and I am very sad that it’s over but glad we have created such a wonderful connection. I recommend the Grand Hotel a million times over!!! Make your Big Day - GRAND!
The Grand Hotel could sell itself with the views, atmosphere and location alone; however, my husband and I picked The Grand to host our guests for lodging and our wedding reception because of Katlyn Mogavero (Director of Sales & Marketing, ACPWC Certified Professional, Wedding Planner).
From the very first meeting, Katlyn was professional, personable, organized, knowledgeable, fun and efficient. She made us feel comfortable from the minute we shook her hand. When you're newly engaged and have no idea what you're doing when it comes to planning a wedding, I can't emphasize enough how much of a relief it is to have a person like Katlyn in your corner.
Throughout the entire process, she guided us along, easing our worries, giving us advice and recommendations through her years of experience in the industry. She helped us pick our table linen colors in less than 5-minutes, a decision I was harping on for far longer than I'd like to admit. She answered every email concisely and with urgency.

Amazing Beach Wedding
From start to finish our experience planning our wedding at The Grand Hotel was amazing. Katlyn is an absolute gem, she walked us through every aspect of planning. The wedding was perfect! All of our guests raved about the wedding. The ceremony on the beach was beautiful, the cocktail reception was so fun that nobody wanted it to end, and the reception was perfect from start to finish. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a beach wedding in Cape May. We will be back to visit for sure!

Best Wedding Venue Down The Shore! Hands down
Everything was excellent! The wedding coordinator, Katlyn, is attentive, super communicative, and brings a burst of positive energy that sets the mood of the wedding from the very first day of meeting her all the way up to and through the big day. Getting married on the beach is a dream - but many places require permits. The GH takes care of that making it super easy. After the ceremony, there are breath-taking views of the beach from its 5th floor ballroom that I'm not sure any other venue has! All the guests complimented the amazing food and said there was SO much of it too. The banquet staff were wonderful and the ballroom looked awesome. Thank you, Katlyn and staff for making our dream wedding a reality!

Our Perfect Wedding at The Grand Hotel
On the day of our wedding, the entire staff at the Grand Hotel went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Katlyn was there to help us since the beginning (answering all of our emails) and even provided a detailed list of what is needed for the big day. We had a room block for our guests and everyone was happy with their rooms. Overall, our experience at the Grand Hotel surpassed all expectations. We are forever grateful to everyone at the Grand Hotel for making our special day truly unforgettable and would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a magical wedding.

Spring Wedding at the Grand Hotel
We got married at the Grand in April of 2024 and our wedding was a spring dream! Katlyn is absolutely the best to work with and is super friendly, organized and responsive. We absolutely loved working with her and the other friendly staff at the Grand. I knew I wanted to get married at the Grand after seeing the amazing views from 5th floor ballroom and the sundeck and it did not disappoint. All the guests complimented the food and I particularly loved the lobster mac and cheese. The banquet staff were wonderful and the ballroom looked awesome. Partying at Hemingways afterwards was also a guest favorite. Amazing venue all around!

My husband and I got married at The Grand Hotel on August 26, 2023. The venue was everything we were looking for. It had a beautiful view, the food was delicious and the hotel itself was so clean and had very friendly staff. From the day we met the wedding coordinator, Katlyn, she was absolutely fabulous to work with! She was one of the main reasons we chose The Grand as our wedding venue. Everything you read about her online is so true! She is so personable and paid attention to every detail. She made the wedding planning process so easy. She is so organized, and she provided us with so much helpful information and ideas. She was very responsive to all of our emails, no matter what time of day or week it was. She would respond to us very quickly. She helped make or wedding day everything we could have envisioned it to be. We were so happy with our decision to have out wedding with The Grand Hotel of Cape May & Katlyn!

Perfect wedding !
The wedding went perfect! The venue was absolutely gorgeous ! It is in a prime beach location and everyone was able to visit the Washington Street mall pre-wedding so no one was unhappy to be in Cape May. The wedding coordinator always responded immediately to all my questions and even worked with us to make sure things always went our way! The rest of the staff was amazing as they always kept us happy throughout the ceremony and helped distribute welcome bags to all the guests as they came in.

I can not express enough on how wonderful Katlyn and her staff were! The reception was beautiful! The food was fantastic! Bartenders were great! The hotel was beautiful! The beds are comfortable! Beautiful Venue!
The Grand Hotel was absolutely amazing! We met with Katlyn and immediatey fell in love with the hotel and all that it could provide for our dream beach wedding. Katlyn was so helpful and felt like family. She wanted to make sure my day was special and I felt special. Leading up to the day Katlyn kept in touch and emailed me a detailed list of things that needed to be done. I felt like it was so easy! We got married in June of 2023 and on wedding weekend arrived Katlyn was in control and everything was soo smooth. Our rehearsal was flawless and the day of the wedding was absolutely amazing. Katlyn made me feel so comfortable and that no question was silly.
We still have people telling us today how amazing the wedding was all we hear is how good the food was, wait staff and atmosphere. We are beyond happy that we chose The Grand Hotel in Cape May as our wedding venue.

A Dream Come True!
My husband and I went into wedding planning with zero clue about what we were walking into. The first venue and last venue we looked at was The Grand. We fell in love with the views from the ballroom, a full view of the ocean! Our guests raved about the food, the experience, and location of the The Grand! And Katlyn was the most helpful!! The Grand Hotel sure is Grand
My husband and I got married here October 1st, despite a hurricane this weekend everything was perfect! Although we wanted to get married out on the sundeck, the contingency plan for having our ceremony indoors couldn't have been any more amazing. Katlyn, Kelly Ann and the rest of the staff really went out of their way to ensure our day was as fantastic as it could possibly be. The views from the cocktail hour room and ballroom are unrivaled. Our guests kept complimenting the food, the service, and the venue as a whole. Highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of getting married here.

The best day ever!
I know there are choices for a wedding venue in Cape May, NJ but if you’re considering such a great city for your special day, look no further than the Grand Hotel. The wedding coordinator, Katlyn Mogavero and her team including Dawn and Kelly, were outstanding and always made us feel this was the only wedding they were focused on. The venue was terrific, the food was incredible but their attention to detail was outstanding. Ever call to them received a response of “not a problem”. Even asking for recommendations for our rehearsal dinner venues and welcome receptions turned out to be spectacular. And the views during our cocktail hour were breath taking. Look no further and book it.

I got married here in May and throughout the entire process Kaitlyn made it an easy process. She made sure from the moment we signed our contract until the day after our wedding that we were comfortable, had all we needed and was beyond organized. I couldn’t recommend the Grand Hotel any more for a wedding! It was absolutely unfortunate that it rained but Kaitlyn made sure I was happy with having the indoor ceremony.

The ONLY place to have a wedding!
I cannot recommend the Grand Hotel more! From the moment my husband and I walked in to speak with Katlyn in December 2020 as we were venue hunting to July 17, 2022 when we got married everything was perfect! Katlyn and her staff go above and beyond to ensure that your day goes amazing through the quick blur the day can be! The Grand Hotel was our first venue stop and quite frankly should have been our last but we obviously came back! I was hooked on the view, Katlyn’s attention to detail and the fact I didn’t need to ask her one question off of my list as she answered most just getting on the elevator before looking at the ballrooms. When we left I told Brian I think this is it and it was,! If we were to get married again we would be back at the Grand and no other looking needed! Thank you for making our day the best ever!!

From Day 1 Katlyn stood by my side, held my hand and guided me through the entire process of planning our wedding. She was responsive, usually answering my emails in a matter of minutes. I feel like I’ve gained a friend in Katlyn after this experience. Kelly-Ann is a real sweetheart. She kept me calm as I began my entrance to the ceremony. The wait staff and bartenders were all very attentive, helpful and friendly throughout the reception. This is the place to get married and vacation at for sure along the Jersey Shore!!!

The Best Beach wedding venue

More beautiful than we expected!
We can't say enough about The Grand Hotel. It was more beautiful and special than we imagined. The food was excellent, the reception room was perfect, the service was on top of every request, the rooms were comfortable and the ceremony was perfect. The most important detail of our wedding was Katlyn Mogavero, the Grand’s Wedding Planner. Katlyn was available for every question along the way, no request was too much for her. We were supposed to have a beach wedding and at the last minute the rain pushed us inside. Katlyn quickly created a beautiful ceremony space inside and I never missed the beach. Our families loved the event from Friday through Sunday. We would recommend the Grand to anyone looking for a beautiful memorable event in Cape May.

Just amazing
We got engaged in 2021 and wanted a special venue. We met with Katlyn Mogavero about 2 months after our engagement and instantly fell in love with the venue and Katlyn just topped the cake lol and made all of our dreams come true. The process was so simple from booking to the day of the wedding. I would email her literally every 2 seconds and would get a text back with a smile. Beautiful Ballroom, Phenomenal Staff
Katlyn and her team at The Grand Hotel are simply the BEST! From our first meeting to our special day, Katlyn was with us every step of the way to ensure the wedding reception of our dreams. Her quick communication and enthusiasm made planning the reception a joy. We never experienced any stress when it came to The Grand, and it really helped us to keep our "eye on the prize" when wedding stress, in other areas, invariably came along. The staff are fantastic as well. We felt completely spoiled during our tasting, and when the big day came along, the members of the waitstaff were attentive and friendly. Our signature cocktails were delicious and the food was a huge hit with our guests. Management was also kind and solicitous and made us feel so very special. They executed the reception flawlessly, checking in with us throughout the evening and guiding us along. If there were any fires to put out, we were not aware of them! We cannot overstate how wonderful it was to work with Katlyn, and how meaningful it was that every single member of staff showed us sincere warmth. Everyone involved was so very lovely that I feel this review will not fully do them justice and wish I could thank each and every person individually. They made us feel like family. Our hearts are full and we cannot thank everyone at The Grand enough for making our reception more beautiful than we could have ever hoped for. Do not hesitate! We chose the Grand Hotel for both our ceremony and reception and are so happy we did! Katlyn was the best. She helped every step of the way, made sure all emails and phone calls were answered immediately and was there the day of to make sure everything ran smoothly. The staff working our wedding were attentive and so helpful. All our guests RAVED about the food, the ballroom and hotel itself. We had our ceremony on the outdoor deck and reception on their 5th floor ballroom- if we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing. The Grand Hotel is the perfect wedding venue!

The Grand was the most perfect location for our day. Katlyn is the best person on the planet. She helped us through postponement and made everything EASY. Accommodations for our guests!
We had our wedding at another location, but had our overnight accommodation room block set up at the Grand Hotel and they were wonderful to work with - specifically Katlyn! She was extremely responsive and helpful with both our room block for the wedding weekend and other stays we needed for wedding planning appointments throughout the year. Easily one of the largest hotels in the area with great prices for a great location. You can't beat this at the shore!

Perfect Shore Wedding Venue!
Our wedding day ended up being so much more perfect than we ever imagined it could be! A little over a month later, and our wedding guests are still saying it was one of the best weddings they’ve ever attended. After getting engaged at the Grand, we knew it was one of our first options as a wedding venue, and working with their wedding planner, Katlyn Mogavero, assured us that we made the right decision. Katlyn was always responsive even on her days off from work. She was the voice of calm and reason during a few stressful times due to still planning a wedding during the pandemic. She was always positive and made sure to communicate any updates immediately. Our experience with our food tasting prior to the wedding was so personalized, and on our wedding day, guests raved about the food. They also loved the bartenders who were so friendly the entire evening! Katlyn and her team handled every detail on our wedding day allowing us to relax and take in all of the moments knowing we were in great hands. We would definitely recommend the Grand to anyone looking for a shore wedding. From the ocean views of our cocktail hour on the sundeck and at our reception in the penthouse ballroom, to the hotel accommodations that allowed so many of our guests to make an entire weekend out of the wedding, and the Grand’s staff, especially Katlyn, it truly was the best day ever. We already can’t wait to return to the Grand to relive memories from our wedding day!

Absolute DREAM wedding venue
The Grand Hotel was an absolutely AMAZING wedding venue! Our ceremony was on the beach, which was my lifelong dream come true. Our reception was in the grand ballroom, which was such a great space, and we all had a blast. Everything from the food to the decor to the finer details was exactly what we were hoping for. The best part of the entire planning process was having Katlyn as our wedding planner. She was on top of EVERYTHING and made us feel completely relaxed throughout the entire process. Especially considering the pandemic and all of the associated changes throughout the year, Katlyn was truly a life saver. On the day of the wedding, Katlyn kept us all on schedule and organized, which allowed us (the bride and groom) to really enjoy the entire experience worry-free. I would recommend the Grand Hotel to anyone and everyone looking to get married at the South Jersey shore!

The Wedding Of Our Dreams!
To say our wedding was perfect is an understatement. We couldn’t have had a more beautiful venue, more accommodating location, or more helpful wedding planner. From the initial consultation all the way to the day of the wedding, we were extremely impressed with all aspects of wedding planning with The Grand Hotel. Katlyn is an invaluable asset and she truly makes wedding planning a breeze. The day of the wedding, Katlyn handled all of the logistics so everything ran smoothly. That freed us, the groom and bride, to focus on our wedding and actually enjoy it too! Although we hope to never plan another wedding, we would go back here in a heartbeat to do it all over again! We had such an amazing time at The Grand Hotel of Cape May!

Great Service!
The moment we toured the Grand Hotel of Cape May we knew it was where we wanted to get married! Katlyn is AMAZING. She helped us plan all the details of our wedding, gave us suggestions, and is just so great at what she does. With our wedding falling in the year of the Pandemic, she kept us so calm throughout the whole process and even when indoor dining was cancelled they had a backup plan. If we didn't have her as a wedding planner the entire process would have been so much more stressful. The food at the hotel is great, and the packages they offer come with everything you can imagine and it is really a great deal. We were so happy with how our day turned out and we owe that to Katlyn for helping put on such a great event!

Perfect doesn’t cut it!
WOW! Wedding of our dreams is an understatement!!!
From the hotel providing anything we could ever ask for, to the BEST BEST BEST wedding coordinator ever! Katlyn could not have been MORE than helpful through our entire wedding planning, despite a pandemic and everything else in between! Katlyn had an answer for everything and a positive outlook for our whole day! From meeting with us to give us some background of The Grand to teaching me how to cut a piece of cake for our first slice as Mr and Mrs, Katlyn was there for it all and I couldn’t have thought of anyone else I wanted to be with me through every tear and exciting moment!! I walked away with not only the best experience, but someone to cheer us on for life!
As for the hotel itself, we could not have had more of an accommodating situation!! Originally going to the 5th floor penthouse for our reception to the outdoor Sundeck, I couldn’t have asked for more! The Sundeck, covered in twinkle lights for the night time (my dream), could not have made for a better wedding! From the servers to the food, everything was perfection!!
The hotel rooms were the cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in and the front desk was so helpful anytime I called or went to ask a question. COVID or not, our experience was the best we could have possibly asked for! When thinking of somewhere to stay or somewhere to hold the best night of your life, The Grand Hotel will be there for anything!!

September wedding
My husband and I got married at the grand in September and it was absolutely perfect. It honestly could not have been done without Katlyn who was amazing. Katlyn at The Grand Hotel will make your dreams come true
The Grand Hotel was the perfect setting for our wedding. We looked at several other wedding venues in Cape May before deciding on The Grand in part because of the newly redone facilities and spectacular views but most of all because of their amazing wedding/event coordinator, Katelyn Mogavero. 10 minutes into our conversation and we knew we had found our spot! She took what can certainly be overwhelming and helped us through the entire planning process to ensure our special day was effortless. High winds on the day of our wedding prevented us from having the ceremony on the beach, which could cause last minute panic to a bride and groom, but without hesitation Katelyn had already set up a backup ceremony location in one of The Grand’s newly refurbished ballrooms, transitioned the ceremony inside and everything went off without a hitch!
The Grand Hotel is the perfect mix of casual beach wedding and elegance. The views, the service, the food, the atmosphere and location all combined to create a magical experience for us and our family and friends. Our guests could not stop commenting on the beauty of the location, how wonderful the ballroom looked and just the overall friendliness of the staff. A DJ at Hemingway’s (downstairs) made it easy to keep the party going after the reception!
For the year leading up to the big day, Katelyn made herself available to us at any time to provide advice and guidance in making decisions. We cannot be more grateful to have worked with her. Job very well done by The Grand, Katelyn, Danielle and the rest of the staff in making our wedding day the most amazing experience of our lives.

Best Venue in Every Way
The Grand Hotel was the first venue we checked out and we instantly knew it was the perfect place to hold our wedding! Katlyn was amazing throughout the entire process. Working with her was great and made everything so much less stressful. She and the entire team went above and beyond and totally exceeded our expectations for our wedding day. The location was great, the views were breathtaking, and the venue itself is gorgeous. I cannot recommend the Grand Hotel and Katlyn enough!

Wonderful Wedding Day!
The Grand Hotel is a dream venue for a wedding. The views from the sundeck and ballroom are stunning. The best part of the Grand however is hands down Katlyn and her team. From the moment we toured the Grand from our wedding day she put me at ease and made us feel like family. Katlyn goes above and beyond for her brides (and grooms!) and never failed to answer any of our many questions/address any concerns we had. I don't think a single thing went wrong on our wedding day and we couldn't have done it without her! Amazing!
We couldn't be happier with the decision to have our wedding reception at The Grand Hotel. It's a beautiful venue, both inside, as well as outside, with the breathtaking views of the Atlantic ocean from the 5th floor ballroom. From the early planning stages through the reception, the staff was so accommodating, friendly, and efficient. Every detail and special request was noted and executed perfectly. The food was fantastic and the presentation was great. Everyone LOVED the cheesesteak station at the afterparty downstairs at Hemingways. Leading up to the wedding day, we had complete trust in Katlyn and her team. They really made sure that the day was exactly how we had imagined. We would definitely recommend The Grand for any couple looking to get married in Cape May.

Cape May Wedding
My husband & I got married at the Grand in May. I couldn't ask for a more perfect day and it was mainly because of Katlyn. Katlyn was the biggest help in planning for my wedding. She was always there when I needed her. The Grand Hotel Penthouse Ballroom has the most amazing views of the beach. I would recommend the Grand to anyone who was envisioning their fairy tale wedding.

My husband and I got married June 2017 at the Grand Hotel in Cape May, NJ (I know… late review, life’s been busy lol). Anyhoo, our wedding planner Katlyn was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!! Beautiful View-Inside and Outside
One of our top priorities for our wedding was to have it in Cape May! But having our wedding at the Grand Hotel made this beautiful beach location even more special than we could have ever imagined. The view of the ocean from the banquet hall is breathtaking, no matter what the weather is. Also Katlyn, the wedding planner, welcomed us with open arms right when we met her! Her support lasted all the way through the big day. All the food was amazing and they really took into account any notes we had from the tasting. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone who wants an outdoor ceremony option, a venue close to the beach, and a trustworthy team behind you! We could not have asked for a more perfect venue.

Amazing Venue for Wedding

We had our wedding at the Grand Hotel in Cape May, NJ, on July 7, 2018. We did our site visit a few months prior and knew the venue was special. We met with Katlyn, whose personality won us over immediately. Both her knowledge and experience were definitely comforting for two people who weren’t sure what to expect from the wedding planning process. We loved the whole package deal: with food, drink, and venue covered in one cost, it required fewer details for us to manage – definitely a good thing, considering everything else that needs attending to. As soon as we entered the 5th floor ballroom, we knew we had found the right venue. It’s very spacious, with gorgeous views to boot! We were extremely fortunate that the weather cleared and we were able to do the outdoor ceremony on the sun deck. Friends and family loved the cocktail hour and hors d’oerves, and the dinner itself blew everyone away. The food was exceptional! Many of our guests said that it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten. The salmon and prime rib were particularly delicious.
Katlyn is very experienced and is extremely easy to work with. She was available for our questions and was quick to respond, which is amazing considering how busy she is. Thankfully, she kept tabs on us and worked with us on our schedule, as we responded to her questions one by one, slowly knocking down the list of items that needed to be addressed before the big day. Working with Katlyn was like working with a friend. Our big day was absolutely wonderful, and it never would have happened without Katlyn.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my wedding at The Grand Hotel in Cape May, NJ so bear with me on this long post! Katlyn Mogavero, the day of coordinator, is truly AMAZING at her job! From the first meeting with her months before our wedding she had our full trust! Her energetic and positive personality had us so excited about our big day that we were 100% confident it would be the best day ever and it really really was! Katlyn was extremely responsive to our many many emails, phone calls, and requests for meetings not to mention being available whenever we had the slightest question or concern. I don’t pride myself at being the best at decorations or having an eye for design but Katlyn was able to guide me along the way with picking linens and napkins and when it came to the big day she blew me away with the way she was able to decorate the room - it was everything I wanted and more! I have been to many weddings at gorgeous venues where the food was lacking, however this was NOT the case at The Grand! At our tasting we really couldn’t believe how delicious everything tasted and the day of was just as good! All of our guests raved about their meals and hor’ devours and the staff (which were so kind and attentive to myself and our guests) made sure my husband and I went home full which I know is a rarity for a bride and groom! We were lucky enough to have incredible weather the day of which made for fantastic pictures of our ceremony on the sundeck, but with the inside of the venue looking as incredible as it was I think it would have been beautiful to have the ceremony inside as well. I just want to end with thanking Katlyn and the rest of the staff at The Grand Hotel again! I’d highly highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect seashore wedding - you will not be disappointed!

We couldn't have asked for a better venue! Katlyn, the wedding coordinator, was by our side guiding us every step of the way. Her friendly personality and attention to detail put us at ease and ensured that our wedding was everything we dreamed of (and more!). Our guests enjoyed every aspect starting with the ceremony on the sundeck, to the cocktail hour drinks and hors d'oeuvres, all the way to the delicious dinner and dancing. The Grand Hotel's Certified Professional Wedding Planner, Katelyn, and her Assistant, Danielle, are super professional. I knew nothing going into this and Katelyn patiently walked me through it every step of the way. Katelyn also quickly responds to every e-mail or phone call. The Grand Hotel's staff, from the front desk staff, to the wait staff, to the housekeeping staff, are truly exceptional. What I liked best about The Grand Hotel was how honest Katelyn was with the pricing. We looked at many venues in Cape May and I cannot tell you how often I was told, "Well, we can discuss that if you choose to do that." Who wants to enter a venue contract not knowing exactly what you're paying for? This is not the case with The Grand Hotel. And the food! I got married about two weeks ago and my friends and family are still raving about the food! I didn't share how much I spent because there are different packages. I went with the Platinum package on a Friday night and I felt that it was money well spent. I felt that our wedding wasn't cheap, but we didn't go overboard either. You can overboard if you wish with all the extras that are available. Your wedding is such a huge celebration and a memory that you will always remember and I'm so grateful to Katelyn, Danielle, and the rest of The Grand Hotel staff for doing a superior job.

We just had our wedding here in June, and it turned out to be exactly what we had wanted. We just wanted a simple laid-back beach wedding and that is exactly what Katlyn had given us. She made the whole wedding planning process so easy and much less stressful than what I had thought it was going to be. The food was amazing and people are still talking about how much fun they had and how nice everything was. Katlyn always responded back to me right away with any questions I had and even sent her assistant, Danielle, to city hall to be our witness for our marriage certificate. Our dream was a small, intimate, low-key wedding at the Jersey shore, that we didn’t have to work too hard to plan. The Grand Hotel was the perfect choice. KATLYN, their on-site wedding coordinator sold us immediately on the Grand Hotel. She listened very closely to what we wanted, and was full of ideas on how to execute our vision. The October before our July 2017 wedding, she organized a tasting event where we found all of our vendors! Every question we had, she answered right away. She collected all of our vendor info and executed the entire day flawlessly!
The Grand Ballroom is on the top floor of the hotel, with 3 sides of the room looking out on to the Ocean! It’s clean and beautiful! We got married on the beach (the Grand set up our ceremony), but they also have a gorgeous deck over looking the ocean. If it rains, you have the ballroom with Ocean views. They were very accommodating with our special requests and dietary concerns (vegan, gluten-free, nut allergies). The food was delicious, service amazing! And our family had a great time staying at the hotel that weekend! The staff was very accommodating and the facilities are beautiful. There are not enough positive things that I can say about our Wedding at the Grand! Thank you Katlyn for making our dream wedding come true! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

We had an excellent experience from start to finish. Katlyn and Katie were efficient and helpful and right there for us when we needed them. When we had a food allergy guest, the kitchen gladly made her a new meal just for her to accommodate without question. I couldn’t have made a better decision in choosing our wedding venue. It was an easy decision for me as my parents had their wedding reception there 38 years prior so The Grand held a special place in our hearts from the start. However, had they not been married there, I still would’ve chosen The Grand. I was born in raised in Cape May and love everything about the town. The Grand is the only place in Cape May that seats over 200 people with a view of the ocean from the room where the reception is held. The view from the Grand Ballroom is absolutely beautiful and you can see the ocean from every angle. We got married June 3rd and started planning about a year in advance. Katlyn Mogavero is absolutely AMAZING. She is friendly, professional, charismatic, and incredibly sweet! I was a relatively laid back bride so we didn’t have a ton of unnecessary communication in the months leading up to the wedding but I imagine that had I been more hands on, she would’ve been there to assist in any way she could. About a month before the wedding I started realizing that there were several details I had yet to figure out and started reaching out to Katlyn constantly. She was always there to help with my decisions and offer advice. The day before the wedding, when I realized I still hadn’t printed out signs for our drink specials, memory table, etc. —she offered to design and print them for me on card stock saving me time, aggravation and last minute stress. She was not only our “wedding planner” but a friend throughout the entire process. She really felt like a part of the family and besides being amazing at her job, she’s so much fun to be around and made the process that much better just by being herself. Everything at the Grand was executed with perfection. Our guests raved about the food and the view!! There was not one single hiccup and we could not have picked a better location for our special day. We love the Grand and Katlyn and will certainly keep coming

Where do I begin? From the day we first met her at the Grand, I knew Katlyn was the one to plan our wedding. She is an expert at her craft and sees every detail through to perfection. We were in the Penthouse ballroom for our reception, and everything went flawlessly. She goes through every detail well in advance of the wedding to make sure everything is set, and on the day of runs the show like a true professional. We were in such good hands, and I could not thank Katlyn enough. Her experience in selecting the final details (linens, etc) for the big day go such a long way in taking the pressure off you as a bride in those last few weeks. You are making a great choice in choosing the Grand.
The Grand was also so flexible in catering the day and accommodated our asks. My husband loves cookie ice cream sandwiches and we wanted them to be a part of the wedding, so the Grand created a serve-to-order station as part of our dessert course. It was a hit with our guests and so much fun to enjoy. We also used the Cape May Sweet Treats dessert option as our favor - and the chocolate strawberries FLEW off the table.
I knew it was a great wedding when the house lights came on and the staff started to clean up and all our guests stayed to still enjoy the Penthouse for a bit before heading down to the afterparty at Hemingways. We loved heading right downstairs to keep the party going (DJ on site on Saturdays!)...then head right on upstairs to sleep it off! My in-laws hosted a buffet breakfast for all our guests the next morning. Katlyn made sure all our flowers from the reception made their way to the breakfast, so it was just as beautiful!
Our wedding was the most amazing weekend. Thank you to Katlyn and everyone at the Grand for making it so!

Ladies and gentlemen, if you're planning a wedding in South Jersey, look no further!! I'll be honest: upon our initial research, the Grand Hotel was at the bottom of our venue choices, since we originally wanted our wedding in Avalon. However, the moment we met Katlyn and saw their BEAUTIFUL fifth floor ballroom, we knew instantly that the Grand was going to be our wedding venue! We fell in love with the cocktail and reception areas that boasted 180 degree views of the ocean. The ballroom was spacious enough for a large group of people, but also intimate where everyone could feel together. Our guest count was 130 people, but I could see them adding a lot more guests into the room comfortably. We had a sit down dinner (which Katlyn recommended), after party tacos & pretzels in Hemingways, as well as a day after breakfast (we love feeding our guests!!). Everything was so fresh & so delicious.
Upon our first meeting, Katlyn greeted us with a warm smile and answered all of our questions with confidence. There was no "I'll have to get back to you" or "I'll check with so and so". She was an absolute godsend and helped us feel at ease. Her passion in wedding coordinating truly reflects her amazing organizational skills and promptness. She was patient, insightful and never pushy when I asked for advice. We worked on every little detail together to make sure it was the wedding of our dreams, and it truly was! She made what could've been a stressful process into something incredibly fun & enjoyable. I'll be forever grateful for that.
Included in our package were two free nights in their townhouse suite (one night for rehearsal dinner and the other for the wedding night). The rooms were recently remodeled and we loved the vintage details they maintained throughout. My husband loved how the hotel was built around a WWII tower. Cape May is such a beautiful town and the Grand Hotel is no exception.
In conclusion: HIRE THEM!! You won't regret it =)

The Grand Hotel Cape May is absolutely gorgeous and the staff including the coordinator, Katlyn Mogavero, are so kind and helpful. Katlyn helped me throughout the whole process of planning our wedding! We would recommend anyone that wants a beach wedding to look into The Grand!!

I can't say enough great things about The Grand Hotel and Katlyn Mogavaro!! My husband and I were planning our wedding from about 3 hours away in Baltimore. Katlyn was amazing. She sent us pages upon pages of vendor recommendations. She was responsive to every call or email I sent. Katlyn was upbeat and happy every time we met with her (even when she was sick). We had a problem with our babysitter not showing up...Katlyn had food and dessert sent to the room for my aunts to eat. The staff was friendly and kind and did everything they could to make it a great stay. We had a hospitality room (one of the rooms near the pool that we reserved at our hotel rate) for Thursday and Friday (Friday night wedding). It was great to have a place to hang out with family and friends without disturbing anyone after the rehearsal dinner and wedding.

My wedding was in this hotel and it was the best choice I have ever made!!!!!!!!!! Everything was brilliant. The food, the staff, the suite, the wedding planner, the menus, the vendors, the dj, the decor...etc etc. Amazing!!!!!!!!!!! I wish we could re live this day. The after party down at the bar was also fabulous!!!!!!!!!! 110%!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ill be back just to party!!!!!!!!!!! All I can say is BRILLIANT place to have your wedding. Love you Katlyn!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This venue is absolutely perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better place to get married at in May. They handled absolutely everything for us, I had zero worry! It was very well organized, the food was delicious & the space/view were amazing. Katelyn was amazing & so helpful! All the staff there were very helpful & willing to help out in any way! I'd recommend this place a million times!

My husband and I can't say enough about great our wedding was at the Grand Hotel in Cape May, NJ! Our celebration suite was incredible overlooking the pool and the ocean every morning. The hotel staff was gracious and very accommodating to all our guests! Memorial Day weekend at the tiki bar pool at the Grand was better then we could have imagined! The indoor pool and hot tub and arcade was a great option for our younger guests as well as our elderly guests! Katlyn made wedding planning fun and exciting all year. She always accommodated our every request as well as my parents. The 5th floor ballroom venue has views that can't be beat!!! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the excellent steak and salmon for dinner and the incredible apps for cocktails hour! The Grand made our fairytale come true in every way possible. THANK YOU FOR THE BEST WEEKEND OF OUR LIVES!!!

Married April 25,2015.
From beginning to end my family and I expectations were exceed ! As a bride to be reaching out to multiple venues to find a fit for me (overwhelming) katlyn and Liz responsed to my email and answered all my question in a timely manner. Katlyn and Liz took my vision and budget, made everything amazing. The most important thing for me is that katlyn and Liz genuinely cared about every detail of my wedding and so did every staff member! We had a small wedding of 50 people the same night they also had a large wedding. Myself and my guest had no idea we felt like we were they only people in the building !

The ceremony on the beach and reception inside went off without a hitch. Katlyn made sure that everyone knew what they were doing and kept everything running smoothly. I had so many questions and she responded to each and every question. Everything was exactly like I wanted it and it was a perfect ceremony and fun filled reception. Everyone at the Grand was great to work with!

Katelyn is THE BEST!!! She is organized, answers questions promptly, and overall great at her job. Liz works very well with her, and they both made our day run smoothly and perfectly. As a neurotic, routine-oriented special ed. teacher, I was very impressed and pleased with the organization at the Grand Hotel, which I mostly attribute to Katelyn. She even had an itinerary for the wedding ceremony! My only wish is that I could relive the day :)

I CANNOT thank The Grand, Katlyn and Liz and their team enough for everything they did for both my husband and myself. There were last minute items which needed printing and it was not even a question whether it would be done right because I knew it was in Katlyn and Liz's hands - t's those small details and favors that truly made it an incredible experience. I felt like I could ask for anything and they both either knew exactly the answer, or were able to find out what the answer was immediately. We have been receiving compliments on the venue, the service, the food, everything since Saturday night and to be honest, it is all thanks to Katlyn and Liz.
From the bartender Paul, to the servers in the ballroom - every last person we came in contact with, were so giving and so willing to go above an beyond and that's how we've felt since we met Katlyn and Liz more than a year and a half ago. I am so sad it's over not just because it was such a beautiful day, but because I truly enjoyed working with both Liz & Katlyn and forming a friendship!
Thank you for all that you do day in and day out for all of the couples who get married and celebrate at the Grand - someone said to us on Saturday...if someone did not have fun tonight, it's their own fault. And I truly believe that's the case with the Grand, if someone did not have a good experience...it's them! You both are unbelievable at what you do and I am so grateful to have booked the Grand and met you both!

Katlyn was absolutely INCREDIBLE in making our Wedding Day a DREAM COME TRUE!!! She was always so patient and helpful. She offered the best advice and was always there to guide us along the way. Her assistant, Liz, went above and beyond to make sure all the details were in order and was patient in answering all of our questions. They clearly worked well together and never once let us down! Our Wedding Day was SO PERFECT and we fell in love with The Grand the first time we saw it. We certainly wouldn't have chosen any other venue! The food was fabulous, the decorations were lovely, the staff was so helpful, and the view from the ballroom was incredible! We were so lucky to find two amazing Ladies to work with and can't thank them enough for making 10/17/15 THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES!! I would highly recommend The Grand Hotel for a Wedding!

Katlyn and Liz, the wedding coordinators at The Grand, are both amazing to work with. Right from the start they were very welcoming and easy to work with regarding any questions I had during the planning process. They are super organized and very effective at communicating and coordinating with the couple. I could not have been happier with my beach wedding ceremony, sundeck cocktail hour, and ballroom reception- all while staying within a reasonable budget! I absolutely cannot thank Katlyn and Liz enough for helping me plan and enjoy the wedding of my dreams!! I highly recommend this venue for any occasion and definitely plan on visiting again.

What can I say?! Everything at the Grand is phenomenal! Katlyn and Liz went above and beyond to make our day the best day of our lives! We still can't stop looking at photos and reminiscing about how wonderful everything was. The staff was an absolute dream to work with, and I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING the day of the wedding. They set up everything in the ballroom and made sure it was perfect so we could relax with our bridal party and enjoy every minute of the day without any interruptions. We already know we want to return to Cape May and the Grand for anniversaries to come! Perfect is an understatement. When you choose the Grand, you choose top notch professionals that truly love what they do. You can't beat that! Thank you Katlyn and Liz for helping us bring our dream wedding to life! Everything I ever dreamt of since I was a little girl came true on our wedding day. Katlyn not only was a wonderful wedding coordinator but in the end became a dear friend of mine. The venue is absolutely beautiful. I wish I could rewind and do it all over again. My family, friends and I will always cherish the amazing memories created at The Grand.

Any questions we had in the time leading up to the wedding, she was always prompt and helpful in getting back to us right away from day one. We cannot imagine our wedding day going more perfectly, had it not been for her help! From the moment we toured The Grand Hotel until the last item we packed back into the car the day after my daughter's wedding, we were cared for like we were family! Our questions were answered quickly and thoroughly throughout the year of planning and we never felt like we were a bother. Katlyn, the wedding coordinator, made my daughter, son in law and both sides of the family feel like our wedding was the only wedding they had all year long (and they had five weddings that weekend). Both Katlyn and her assistant Liz saw to our every need at the food tasting evening, taking their time with us to help us choose colors and styles for the big day. They also were helpful in deciding where to have the rehearsal dinner. The day before the wedding up to the end of the reception, they were there to help us decorate using the items that we brought with us, provide lots of enthusiasm and moral support regarding the weather issues, nerves and orchestrate the wedding rehearsal and the actual ceremony! Our 160 guests still cannot stop raving about the delicious food at the wedding, the accommodations and how lovely the whole affair was! A huge perk was having Hemingways right on the site for those who wanted to continue celebrating after the wedding. I would recommend this venue without reservation to anyone who wants to be married in Cape May. It was our favorite day!

If you are looking for a beautiful venue for your Wedding Reception, I highly recommend The Grand Hotel and cannot say enough good things about this venue.
My daughter & son-in-law were married on the beach at Sunset Pavillion in Cape May with their reception following at The Penthouse Ballroom at The Grand Hotel. The Penthouse Ballroom has absolutely beautiful decor with floor to ceiling windows offering breathtaking, oceanfront views of the Atlantic Ocean. Since this was a destination wedding for our guests, it was also great that The Grand offered blocks of rooms at a discounted rate to our guests. Our guests were very pleased with their rooms which were quite lovely. The Bridal Suite which is provided to the Bride & Groom when you book your wedding with The Grand is absolutely beautiful with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean....a very special suite for the Bride & Groom's wedding night.
Katlyn Mogavero the Wedding Planner at The Grand is an absolute dream to work with. Katlyn was always prompt answering our emails and phone calls and very knowledgeable with any questions we had for her. Katlyn was always so personable and friendly and lovely to deal with whether it be by phone, email or in person....nothing we asked was ever too much trouble for Katlyn to handle. She absolutely mady my daughter's vision of her "dream wedding" come to life at The Grand. If you book your wedding with The Grand, you will absolutely love working with Katlyn. Katlyn's assistant, Liz Moyer, was very capable to handle things as well in Katlyn's absence and also wonderful to work with.
The food for the cocktail hour and the sit down dinner at the reception were absolutely delicious. We had a lovely variety of appetizers for cocktail hour and choice of Pacific Oscar Salmon or Filet Mignon and Vegetarian option for dinner. You will not be disappointed by the food prepared for your Wedding reception by the Chef(s) at The Grand.
