There are not enough words to describe how great everyone at the Franklin was throughout the entire wedding planning and execution processes! We couldn't imagine having held our wedding anywhere else. They truly put their customers first and we are so grateful to have been able to have our big day at this unique venue. The team was flexible and genuinely helpful with every interaction and their number one priority was to ensure we were completely satisfied. We strongly recommend the Franklin to anyone looking to host a wedding or big event! The Franklin team is second to none and we wish them nothing but prosperity! -

If I could give the Franklin of Soulard more stars on here, I would! My Husband and I tied the knot over Christmas and the Franklin was the obvious chose. The venue speaks for itself!! As a dancer myself, and someone who grew up in theaters, the Franklin was my favorite, as the elegant, vintage, timeless feels as soon as you walk in. The "Cherry on Top" that sold us, was the staff. The owners are the most genuine, organized, and uplifting people. Our day of coordinator, Emily, was a god send. Our wedding was perfect, because of the staff, and all of the small accommodations they made possible, and all of the small details they put into motion. Having the Franklin for our venue gave us the "Disney World" feeling. -

The Franklin of Soulard - Best Wedding Venue Ever!
My husband and I cannot thank Christina, Cate, Emily, and everyone at The Franklin enough for making our entire engagement and wedding so wonderful! We shortlisted The Franklin because it is such a beautiful venue, but what the team is what tipped us over the edge to select them for our wedding. Every step of the way, the team at the Franklin made us feel so special - no ask was too big, no detail too small to worry about.
We planned our wedding living out of state, and never felt out of the loop or that it made anything more difficult. From the start, Cate made sure to host virtual showings for us, sent us plenty of pictures and videos of the venue, and even hosted our moms for an in-person tour.
The Franklin caters for their events in-house, and we had the BEST tasting experience! They included sides not yet on their menu, and even let us select them for our wedding menu! The food at our wedding was EXACTLY the amazing quality it was at our tasting!
They jumped on board with every idea we had that helped make our wedding "ours." A personalized neon sign for the green wall? "We love it! We'll get it hung up for you!" Beer bucket center pieces for each table? "Such a cool idea, we'll get all the ice in the buckets before cocktail hour for you!" Personal cast iron skillet cookies rather than wedding cake? "Let us set up the heat lamp table for you so they stay warm for everyone!" Our wedding would not have felt nearly as personal without their enthusiasm for making it special for us!
Christina and Emily made sure that we were comfortable and taken care of throughout the whole wedding day. They made sure we had drinks if needed and kept us on time with reminders of upcoming moments. All of this was done in a way that let us enjoy the day and not have to worry about anything! They saw to every moment, every detail, and every guest.
We cannot give The Franklin and their team enough praise. They handled every single detail, vendor, and guest request to make sure we had the best wedding day ever. We're so impressed with their flexibility, attention to detail, professionalism, and experience. The Franklin is a beautiful venue run by even more beautiful people! -

The Franklin's sister company House Made Catering is a preferred caterer at our new venue. They catered a wedding recently and as a venue owner, it could not have gone better. Christina and Danny are amazing to work with! They are so communicative and helpful. I know whenever they are booked for an event that everything will be perfect. They are efficient, prepared, professional, and so kind. The food is incredible and the service is even better. You won't regret hiring them for any event! -

We will never be able to shut up about our experience with The Franklin of Soulard. They were one of the easiest and kindest vendors we worked with throughout the entire planning process. They helped customize our menu, accommodated every request we had, and made everything feel effortless on the wedding day. You can tell their staff deeply cares about their work as well. The food was beyond delicious — people are still telling us it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had! It’s rare to find a vendor who is both so talented and so genuinely caring ( the ENTIRE process). We’d choose them again a thousand times over! -

We absolutely loved working with The Franklin of Soulard for our wedding catering! Our wedding ceremony was a small lunch affair, but the Franklin treated us like we were a fancy group with a grand occasion. From the generous tasting to the small details to be on-site support, we were thrilled with the service and food they provided. They let us cater the menu to something that fit our style, and they went above and beyond at every turn. Most importantly, the customer service was incredible! We held my daughter's wedding at The Franklin in May and it was a GREAT choice! The entire team is so accessible and easy to work with – from the first communication, it was clear that they wanted to make my daughter's day perfect! Daniel and Christina were so welcoming, and really encouraged us to make our vision come true – they were open to every idea and suggestion we had. Cate and Emily were excellent partners in planning all the details of the event.
It was so helpful having access to the venue several days before to get everything staged versus trying to set up the day before or day of. The Franklin team also has amazing relationship with all of the vendors – photographers, staging companies, our wedding cake bakery, flowers, band – everyone! This made coordination so simple for us!
The food and the service was absolutely wonderful. They did a wonderful job serving our 250 guests hot, tasty food, with plenty of wait staff to ensure our guests received their meals quickly. Bar service, dessert bar, late night snacks were all handled and coordinated efficiently throughout the evening! The entire evening could not have gone better, and we are thrilled with all of the wonderful feedback we have received from our guests. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Franklin!

The Franklin of Soulard made our May 2025 wedding reception an absolute DREAM. The Franklin team is a truly phenomenal, down-to-earth, talented group of professionals. My husband and I knew we'd found the right wedding venue team during our tour: we had told Daniel, Christina, and Cate that this was the first venue we had seen, and their immediate response was to give us a list of questions to ask/things to look for in other venues we looked at. We knew right then and there that this was a group of people who genuinely cared about us having the wedding of our dreams (even if it wasn't with them!). We ended up signing our contract with The Franklin about 10 months out from our big day, and we were met with abundant kindness, organization, and thoughtfulness throughout that entire time period. Forming the contract was stress-free and easy, too. The Franklin is super open about every cost involved with having your wedding with them, and all of their costs are entirely reasonable. All of their communication was prompt and upbeat as well. Their professionalism, high-quality communication, and meticulous organization was a massive contributor to my relaxed attitude on the big day– I knew everything was taken care of! Everything ran impeccably on the wedding day. The venue space itself is absolutely stunning and looks GORGEOUS in photos– the lit candles in the mezzanine gave the space such a fairytale, romantic feel. The food was AMAZING, and our guests are still commenting on it. Plus, The Franklin team is entirely dedicated to catering your menu to exactly what you want, even down to making a specific veggie crispier. Many of our wedding guests have told us that our reception was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding, and I think we owe a lot of that to the team at The Franklin! To anyone from The Franklin reading this: THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for making our big day better than we could've dreamt!!! To anyone considering The Franklin for their big day: I CANNOT recommend them enough!!!! -

Highly Recommend!
We had the most incredible experience with our wedding at the Franklin of Soulard! With a top notch crew, Christina and Danny are an absolute delight to work with, and were such a kind, welcoming, and professional presence throughout the entire wedding planning process. Cate, Nichole, and Emily guided us through every step of the journey with helpful advice, all while listening to our desires and making them come true! Truly, we couldn't ask for a better experience with the team at the Franklin. No detail was missed, and the wedding day went off without a hitch due to their professional diligence in creative a positive, joyful, and FUN atmosphere! Not only is the venue itself stunning, but Danny, Christina, and their team is what really seals the deal. From the moment we first inquired, we were immediately put at ease from the professionalism, kindness, and passion Christina and Danny have for their work. We felt supported throughout the entire process, received immediate answers to anything we had questions about, and are so honored to have been able to experience the magic of the space Christina and Danny have created. The bridal suite is a beautiful space and such a perk to be able to get ready in, the food was delicious, the entire staff was friendly and kind, and I feel like I need to pull out a thesaurus to find more nice words to say about the Franklin! We'd do it all over again in a heartbeat and grateful doesn't even begin to cover how we feel. Thank you a million!!! -

We got married just over a week ago at the Franklin after booking nearly 2 years ahead of time and genuinely can not say enough about how amazing this venue, management, and staff were. When we met Christina and Danny on our tour we pretty much knew immediately that the Franklin was perfect for our wedding day not only because the venue is absolutely stunning (which it 100% is) but also because of how much Christina and Danny cared about their work and making our day special. Leading up to our wedding we had our tasting which was so much fun and felt like an event in itself, we worked with Cate and Emily (members of the Franklin management team) on our final details which made the day go so smoothly, had our decoration set up (they were so accommodating with time and giving us access to anything we needed, it made everything so easy), and lastly our rehearsal which Emily helped lead and with her guidance we were in and out in no time with all of the knowledge and practice we needed for the big day!
And as if all of that wasn’t amazing our wedding day was so perfect largely because of how much work the franklin team put in for us. They helped us with anything we asked and worked with our vendors beautifully. The food was fantastic, Emily helped with day of coordination and was flawless, and the rest of the team was onsite almost the whole day. Our guests (and us of course) were so blown away by the venue and the team. If you have a wedding coming up PLEASE check out this venue and meet their team you will not regret it! -

We got married 11/16/24 and the Franklin went above and beyond to make our day so special. Along with our wedding it was also my birthday. The entire planning process was seamless and easy with Christina, Dan and their entire team. The venue is timeless and great for large and small weddings. We had close to 300 and it was great. The food was AMAZING (not your typically wedding food), apps were incredible and our guest are still raving about it. From the small touches, to the big moments, they were there through it all. Emily, was always there with food or a drink for my husband or I and we absolutely loved it. They really let you have your own personally touch with a Franklin spin. The bridal get ready room as 10/10 and was perfect for my bridal party in the fact that we did not have to carry our things every where. We just stayed in one place which was so nice. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, please look no further. THE FRANKLIN IS IT!!!!!!!!! Thank you guys for everything, the Franklin will always hold a place in our hearts. -

Our September 2024 Wedding at The Franklin was an absolute dream! We were looking for a unique venue with a capacity of at least 250 people that would highlight the charm of the City of St. Louis. The Franklin met our needs perfectly! Christina, Danny, and their team went above and beyond to meet every need and expectation. During the planning process, the thing I appreciated most about the Franklin was their pricing transparency - we got exactly what we bargained for the year prior at the price we agreed on with no surprise fees, charges, or need to upgrade at the last minute, which is a level of transparency not all our vendors provided. On the day of the space was set exactly according to our floor plan, the signature cocktails were delicious (not watered down or tasting like they were made hours before), there were NEVER lines at the bar, and the room was beautifully lit by at least 100 candles on the mezzanine level. Dinner was served on time and efficiently to our more than 200 guests and we loved that there was a perfect spot for our photo booth - plus we were able to use the Franklin's backdrop and neon sign. Danny and Christina were a dream to work with, their space is beautiful, and they made our dreams come true (including my dad's dream of a late night chicken finger bar)! Highly recommend The Franklin! -

Cannot recommend the Franklin enough for a wedding! The venue was renovated beautifully but kept historic (there are many photo ops). The team was professional and extremely helpful in every way. Our guests raved about the atmosphere, food, and drinks. We had the ceremony and reception there. The room was flipped quickly during cocktail hour. The food was served efficiently, and they accommodated all guest allergies. They kept us on schedule and really made the day go smoothly. You’re in good hands with the Franklin and their team! -

We got married 8/31/2024 and our day was absolutely amazing. Christina, Danny and their staff made the days leading up to our wedding easy.
Our wedding day was beautiful and was so easy. The Franklin was beautiful, Christina, Danny and the staff are all extremely good at what they do. I feel like there was nothing that could have been better from them. They kept me in the loop but also made sure it was seamless, being an all inclusive venue is also a one up. No need to coordinate when the food will be there, because it's already there, and it's delicious! If you ask me there is no place better in the STL area to get married. -

My son and his bride had their wedding and reception at The Franklin of Soulard on 8/24/24. I knew the minute that they booked this venue everything would be well taken care of. Danny and Christina Walsh did not disappoint! We have received so many compliments on how nice everything was. The evening was absolutely beautiful and everything flowed perfectly! Danny & Christina pour their whole hearts into every event making you feel like your day is the most important not only to you but to them as well! The professionalism of the entire team is top notch and will be hard to beat! We want to thank everyone who worked the tasting, rehearsal dinner, and the wedding/reception from the bottom of our hearts for all of the hard work that started long before the main event. Our experience with The Franklin of Soulard was top notch! My daughter and her (now) husband spent quite a bit of time looking at potential venues. We knew it was going to be a large wedding (we had 250ish guests). Once we saw the Franklin, we loved it. It is a gorgeous venue. However, even better than the venue are the people that run it. Christina (and her husband Danny) who own it were amazing to work with. They were always quick to answer my random questions. Their entire team was so incredibly helpful with the entire process, even when we realized we needed to switch table type out once we started grouping people. They were happy to help and work with us on what was needed. They even helped us think of things I hadn't even considered. Being an "all-inclusive" venue made my life so much easier (they handle the tables, chairs, linens, dishes, glassware, food, drinks, and people to run it all). The bridal suite was amazing and was perfect even though there were 8 bridesmaids and a maid of honor to get ready along with the bride - plenty of space for everyone. The food was amazing, the venue was gorgeous. Everything ran perfectly smooth (which honestly was surprising with all of the people we had). The food was served quickly and efficiently. The bar was well staffed and quick. They were also incredibly flexible about letting us in early to setup and to come back the next day to pick up everything. I really cannot say enough good things about Christina, the team, and the venue. -

This beautiful venue comes with an even better team that will ensure your day runs smoothly and your reception is everything you could want. I've heard some horror stories from friends about other venues not staying in contact with them or only providing the space and nothing else – that's not at all what I've experienced at The Franklin. Christina and the whole team ensured we were just well taken care of. The food was amazing, and my favorite part of planning was that delicious tasting. The final details meeting set everything in place, and they answered every single question we had.
All in all, this team is so accommodating, and the venue was a beautiful backdrop to my Christmasy wedding. Thank you so much for helping make our day the absolute best! -

I cannot say enough nice things about The Franklin of Soulard. We booked 20 months before our wedding date and during that entire time period I always felt like a priority. You get so much for your money & I never felt like they were trying to nickel and dime us for silly stuff (can’t say that about other places we toured). The bridal suite is HUGE which was so nice for the day of. The space is beautiful but truthfully the staff make this space so unique. Christina & Danny were SO helpful, courteous, and incredibly sincere the entire time. Christina always answered my questions with speed and Danny even helped carry boxes to the car the day after. I knew from the beginning I didnt have to worry about anything and I cannot thank them enough for that huge stress relief! Christina and Danny were always there when we needed them reception night and Lois treated us like royalty making sure we had drinks, desserts, and plenty of food. While planning, they made adjustments to entree sides, brought in specialty drinks we asked for, and NEVER made us feel like it was outrageous request. The food is absolutely incredible, Im not sure I will ever get over it! If you want a space that is beautiful, a wonderful staff, and a place that makes you feel like family… this is it. I wish we could get married here every single weekend, it was truly a dream. Thank you to The Franklin of Soulard for making sure our night was absolutely perfect! We cannot thank you all enough. -

Christina and Daniel were so incredibly wonderful to work with! I had no idea how much I would fall in love with The Franklin when I walked in to it. We wanted a beautiful venue with a lot of charm and it is just so breathtaking in person. Everyone at The Franklin ensured our wedding planning process was as easy as can be. They helped us plan so many details and we had such a hard time deciding on food because it was all so delicious (especially the late night corn dogs!). Our guests couldn't stop telling us how beautiful and unique the space was. I would recommend The Franklin to anyone planning an event. Such a special place! -

If you are getting married in St. Louis and looking for a beautiful, affordable and all-inclusive venue, The Franklin needs to be at the very top of your list!! I can’t say enough wonderful things about Christina, Daniel and the rest of their staff. From the moment we toured the space, they made us feel so special and like we were their top priority. Christina kindly and promptly answered every email and question I had (there were a lot!). I am a fairly detail-oriented person and at our final venue meeting a month before the wedding, I was absolutely blown away by the level of detail that went into planning our day - we’re talking a down-to-the-minute timeline! Our wedding went so smoothly and I know that is because of all the work they put in behind the scenes. I literally wish I could get married again just to work with them again.
The space is AMAZING, and all little extras like the cocktail lounge and gold chargers and nice chairs - things that other venues would charge extra for - are just part of having your event there. The food is incredible. I wish I could eat their butternut squash ravioli every day! I also made use of their gorgeous bridal suite to get ready in the morning.
I would highly recommend The Franklin to any couple searching for a venue. It was one of the very best decisions we made. -

Christina and Daniel’s team went above and beyond from the first time we met with them all the way through to the day after our event. We met with them for a tasting and knew they were exactly what we were looking for. Not only were they 100% on top of everything food/drink related, they also made sure to provide vendors for other services that they’ve had good experiences with in the past. The entire team was so diligent, helping to make for a smooth wedding day.
It was a five-star experience, we were lucky they were available to host our rehearsal dinner, cater our reception, and cater a brunch the next morning. I would recommend The Franklin Room to any and everyone looking for someone to cater and/or host their special day. -

The first of our vendors we booked, and easily the BEST!! The day we took our tour at The Franklin of Soulard, we immediately knew this was "the one". The Franklin itself is absolutely beautiful with a mix of modern updates and historical charm. Our guests have not stopped complementing how amazing everything looked! For a venue of this size, it's very hard to find someone with the attention to detail and level of customer service that the owners, Christina and Daniel, have when planning the perfect event. Christina and Daniel are absolutely amazing to work with in every way! You can truly see how passionate and knowledgeable they are from day 1. They were always available throughout the planning process, and as we got closer to the wedding date, we could feel that they were just as excited to host our wedding as we were! The flexibility and attention from their team was truly what made the night so special, as well as a stress-free experience. Not only was the venue beautiful and the details amazing, but everyone loved the delicious food! The tasting experience before the big day was seriously like a private event in itself! It was so much fun working with their team and I wish we could host a party at The Franklin of Soulard every weekend! I highly recommend this venue for all weddings, events, or catering! 10 stars! One million stars! Christina and Daniel did so much to make the wedding planning experience easier and to make the day so incredible. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, the food was AMAZING and our guests absolutely raved about the entire event. We held our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception back to back to back in their space (with 200+ people, might I add) and it went so smoothly.
I would recommend The Franklin 110% to anyone. -

Working with Dan and Christina for my wedding was a dream! They made the complex and anxiety-filled wedding planning process much more pleasant than I imagined. They worked tirelessly to make the wedding beautiful and align with my partner's and my desires for our wedding. With Covid, we had been planning our wedding several years in advance, and they constantly kept us in the loop for any updates to the space. I greatly appreciated how responsive they were to my emails/calls. I could continue, but you will have to see how amazing they are in person to understand what a gem they are in Saint Louis! -

There are not enough good words to describe The Franklin of Soulard. Christina and Daniel were an absolute dream to work with, from our very first conversation to the night of our wedding they made us feel like we’ve known them forever. They were so accommodating and easy going and always on the ball. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and all of the time and energy they have put into it made it the best imaginable spot to have a wedding. Their staff was always friendly, polite, and so helpful. Our entire night stayed on schedule and went off without a hitch. The amount of compliments i received from our guests about how good the specialty cocktails were was absolutely crazy. Not to mention the food! Our friends and family are still raving about how good the food was. The braised short rib was to die for. They made the entire wedding planning process a breeze, from food tastings to room layouts and making sure it was as easy as possible for our vendors to do their part. Christina and Daniel and the team they have put together at The Franklin all clearly have the knowledge and skill to flawlessly execute the event of your dreams. 11 out of 10, highly recommend. -

Best Wedding Experience at The Franklin of Soulard
I wish I could give The Franklin a million stars! Christina (the owner) and her husband Daniel were an absolute dream! We truly could not have asked for a more extraordinary wedding experience . Everything up to the last bit of planning was so easy and they are the sweetest, most kind and genuine owners to have worked with. The rest of the staff was amazing as well, so nice and friendly! We had a pretty large wedding with lots of little details and they were more than accommodating and SO helpful with all of our multiple requests. The food is also insanely delicious, my guests still keep talking about the dinner! It really is the most perfect spot in all of STL for that classic, timeless-feel wedding! Could not recommend this venue more! 😍 -

We cannot say anything but POSITIVE reviews about The Franklin of Soulard. This was the first venue we looked at when we began planning our wedding and immediately it fit – not just the look/feel of the space but because of the staff. Christina and Danny are the most welcoming and engaging venue managers and supported our process the whole way through! Their entire process to ensure our wedding went off without a hitch was amazing.
They were able to work with us on our budget, numbers, even down to the nitty gritty details such as table layout and that was just the planning phase. The day of the wedding was so smooth thanks a lot to them and their entire team. They allowed us to include a mocktail version of our signature drink as an option and went out of their way to come up with a tasty choice that guests enjoyed and talked about after!
Speaking of tasty, they have what I would guess is some of the best wedding food. If they were a restaurant, I would go again in a heartbeat – even more so, my dad went to the kitchen to applaud the staff on all the delicious foods from appetizers down to the entrée!
I wish I could do everything over again just to experience working with them and this beautiful venue. It had everything we needed, including an amazing bridal suite for a large or small party to get ready!

Danny and Christina were incredible to work with! They were so thorough and helpful from the moment we toured through clean up after our wedding! We toured before they completed their incredible renovations and they brought the whole vision through, from hand hanging crystals on the chandelier to the modern bar and cocktail space. They made our night so special and we are saddened to be done planning our wedding with them. So friendly, kind and hands on! I will recommend them over and over again. -

I don't even know how to put into words how amazing this venue and Christina and Danny are. Their vision and execution of remodeling this space from what it was has been an inspiration to watch unfold and be a part of. My dad's band came out of retirement to play my wedding at the Franklin of Soulard. They had previously worked band jobs here when it was ran by its previous owners. He had his reservations about me getting married there from what he knew from playing there in the past, but was blown away by Christina and Danny's accommodations and how they have made the space much easier for bands to set up. They have provided handicap access into the building and use of an elevator to get heavy equipment to the ballroom. They have also provided easy to use ramps to get things onto the stage! Everything ran seamlessly. The accommodations made for the band were just a fraction of the amazing things I have to say about this venue. It is an absolutely gorgeous space, and Christina and Danny make sure you have EVERYTHING you need throughout every step of the way. Their staff was so kind and efficient, the food was incredible, and we had the absolute time of our lives. I've thought about quitting my job and working for them just so I can spend more time at this beautiful place and hang out with Christina and Danny more 😂 I can honestly say, my wedding day would not have been the same without Christina and Danny and their support in making our dream day come true. They made the planning process easy and enjoyable, and the day of could not have gone more perfectly. You will not regret booking this absolutely amazing venue!! -

The Franklin of Soulard was a dream to work with. It's in such a beautiful, historic, and easy-access area of St. Louis. My bridesmaids and I got ready in the bridal suite, had pictures at Forest Park, the ceremony at my church, and then back at the Franklin for the reception. Each transition was seamless, and Daniel and Christina went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. All of our pictures were effortlessly gorgeous. Their chef is an amazing artist, using ingredients and making meals that showcase the St. Louis area, and the food was absolutely delicious. The Franklin made planning a wedding (almost) easy!
For my husband and me, another important determining factor was the vision that Daniel and Christina have for their community. For every mouth they feed at their event, they donate that many meals or necessary items to the local ministry to the unhoused. They are not just passionate about their business and the work they do, but seeing a positive impact on their city. Choose the Franklin. -

The Perfect Venue
If you’re looking for an all-inclusive wedding venue, this is your sign to stop searching now and book with the Franklin of Soulard! This was the first venue we toured when we first got engaged and every single venue after that just didn’t compare. The venue is beautiful and historic, and has been updated with new paint, chandeliers, flooring, getting ready suite, etc. The food was delicious! We had so many compliments on it…everyone kept asking who catered it and we were so thrilled to be able to tell everyone it was provided in house! The staff was professional, friendly, and so quick to get things done…we had our room flipped between the ceremony and reception in minutes! All of that would have made for a good wedding, but what truly made it the perfect day was the owners, Christina and Daniel! They are so passionate about what they do and we truly felt like they cared about us and our wedding day. They’re so organized and helped us through every step of the planning process and made sure that our wedding day went exactly to plan. I can’t say enough good things about Christina and Daniel and I cannot wait to see what they continue to do with the Franklin of Soulard! -

Dreams Do Come True
Book with the Franklin of Soulard now!!!! In June of 2021 I was the sixth bride to sign with the new venue owners, Christina and Dan, and I was NOT disappointed. Watching them turn The Franklin Room into what stands today was nothing short of an act of love. They are naturals, our wedding was perfect. The service was spectacular and the venue was beautiful! I really was able to have the wedding of my dreams at The Franklin Room and you can too! -
