    Hiring Rachel was one of the best decisions we made as we were planning our wedding. The day of the wedding she handled everything so perfectly, that my family and I could sit back, breathe, and really enjoy every moment. I wasn't worried about the vendors, the decor set up, my timeline, or even the torrential downpour outside. At all times I knew Rachel had it taken care of. The storm outside made it impossible to have our sparkler exit, but out of nowhere Rachel magically pulled out bubbles! Our exit was picture perfect. Thank you to Rachel and her team for giving us a fairy tale ending.

    ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Literally the BEST vendor and decision that we made was hiring and trusting Rachel and TFE team with planning and day-of coordinating for our big day. The Fairytale Effect (TFE) team were incredibly knowledgeable, prepared, and beyond helpful. Rachel provides a detailed timeline with recommended tasks/ due dates for the planning phase and knows the best in the business based on your style and vision. She has coordinated so many events that she has such wonderful ideas and really knows how the make sure the event flows smoothly. Multiple times I went to her with a challenge that she not only fixed, but exceeded my expectations. I truly feel that she deserves more recognition than I can even provide-- I HIGHLY recommend hiring The Fairytale Effect!

    For the day-of, Rachel and her team worked wonders with the decor that we provided, including hanging multiple glass globes from rafters on the ceiling over our cake! We also had some decor items that we had picked at random and she found the perfect spot for each item. The TFE team were exceptional at checking in with me and the wedding party throughout the day to ensure we had everything we needed, she coordinated all the vendors, and made the day stress-free. I was completely confident (rightfully so) that she would handle everything. This alone makes her absolutely worth hiring-- to be able to put your full trust in someone and not have to worry about the details on your day lets you focus on the excitement and the fun! The TFE team coordinated every aspect of the event FLAWLESSLY. TFE made sure we were aware of any upcoming parts of the reception, ensuring everything happened exactly as planned. Rachel even fixed my dress when the clasp came off shortly before the ceremony!
    I can't say enough good things about Rachel. Even guests were coming up to us telling us how professional and wonderful she was. Rachel is passionate about what she does and it shows, she is a shining star!!!

    We hired Rachel and her team for day-of coordinating for our wedding earlier this month and they were wonderful to work with! I had a vision for the set-up/decor and they completely made it happen. I was thrilled when I showed up to the venue on our wedding day to see everything exactly as I imagined. They treated my wedding as if it were their own, as they worked non-stop to move furniture, decor and keep everything on schedule. TFE was organized, professional and on top of everything. I HIGHLY recommend them and cannot thank them enough for the care and comfort they provided me, my husband and our families on such an important day for us!

    Rachel is INCREDIBLE!!! My husband and I decided to have a destination wedding in Austin, TX this past summer and quickly realized that it was going to be much harder to coordinate everything from afar than we had initially anticipated. We decided that we needed some professional help and found that help in Rachel and the team at the Fairytale Effect. Rachel kept us on track with monthly calls and updated to do lists. She also put us in touch with nearly every vendor we ended up hiring, and we were beyond pleased with each vendor we used. The day of the wedding Rachel and her team were invaluable. We had initially planned an outdoor ceremony but the weather had different plans. It ended up pouring down rain on our wedding day, Rachel and her team moved from Plan A, to Plan B, to Plan C seamlessly. They shielded us from all of the stress and commotion, which allowed us to be in the moment and enjoy every minute of the day. Our wedding was truly the most amazing day or our lives and it would not have been possible without Rachel and her team.

    I have NOTHING but great things to say about Rachel and her team. She truly went above and beyond with every aspect of the planning and coordinating...and at an affordable price! Rachel was extremely responsive, had great recommendations, and made the wedding day and rehearsal a breeze. We had planned our ceremony and reception with the assumption that we would be able to use the outdoor space, but had to scramble when we realized rain was inevitable. Despite my minor meltdown, Rachel came up with a plan B and helped us adjust our plans and layout to accommodate all 200 guests despite the bad weather. If you are getting married at The Union on Eighth in Georgetown (or anywhere, really!), you would be silly to choose anyone else. I will recommend The Fairytale Effect to anyone and everyone looking for a great wedding planner. Thanks, Rachel!!

    We hired Kimberly from the Fairytale Effect and are very glad we did. She was calm, organized, kept things running smoothly, and was delightful to be around. We would definitely recommend her to others.

    My husband and I hired Rachel as the day-of coordinator for our February wedding. Rachel was so on top of everything and created a comprehensive timeline/agenda that we all lived by. She sent it to all of our vendors the week-of, walked through the space with us a month prior, coordinated the rehearsal the night before and made sure the day went flawlessly on the day-of. I was so confident in Rachel that I didn't worry whatsoever on my big day that things would be perfect, and they were! She communicated with me when needed, and handled everything in between. The day was magical and we got the steal of the century when we booked Rachel. Her services were worth every penny plus so much more! She brought 2 assistants with her on our wedding day, and we felt like royalty the entire night! Rachel is such a great person as well, and takes so much pride in her work. She is professional and organized, and I couldn't have asked for better assistance during our wedding planning process. This is the first review I'm writing for our wedding because it was that important to me to write hers first. We love you, Rachel - thank you so much for making our day perfect!

    I don't know what we would have done without Rachel! It was one of the best decision we made in our wedding. She is organized, calm, professional, detailed...everything you would want in a coordinator! Our wedding end up being more complicated and larger than we were planning. Our venue was pretty complicated as far as set up goes and not easy to coordinate as its on the third level of a large development and required use of a freight elevator to get anything up and down. They also ended up having to run quite a few errands during the set up process as well as the ceremony. She also came to my rescue when we realized my bustle was just not up high enough and everyone kept stepping on my dress...she managed to bustle my dress using pins and make it look pretty for all my photos! I am also really detailed and had a wedding I had envisioned in my mind and Rachel and her team pulled together the wedding of my dreams!! She gave us peace of mind and allowed all our family to be able to relax and enjoy themselves. You cannot go wrong with Rachel and her team. We hands down would recommend Rachel!!

    Hiring Rachel was the smartest thing we did during our wedding planning process, hands down. Although I think we technically hired her for "day of coordination," it was really more like "month of coordination," and she was available to answer questions and offer advice from the very first day we met with her. Not only did Rachel and her assistants make sure the big day went incredibly smoothly, but she gave me peace of mind. At the rehearsal the day before the wedding, we gave her all of the decorations for the wedding, and on the big day, all I had to worry about was getting ready and spending time relaxing with my best ladies. Meanwhile, Rachel made sure everything came together just as I imagined, and it was a dream come true. One of her assistants even went and did our dunkin donuts pickup (since they don't deliver) for our doughnut display, so that we wouldn't have to worry about it. Rachel came to the rescue when my co-maids of honor were having trouble bustling my gown after the ceremony, and she made sure everything was put into the right cars and picked up at the end of the night after our sendoff. I think she must be superwoman, because I can't imagine how that day would have been without her. Because of her, myself, my now husband, and all of our family got to truly relax and enjoy our special day. Thank you so much!

    Rachel is so amazing. She is so detailed oriented and helps with every last detail. She provides very helpful lists, checks in regularly, and made the day of so stress-free. I would highly recommend her to any bride looking for someone to help take some of the pressure off planning a wedding. She responds very quickly to emails, and is very easy to get a hold of. I have honestly told so many people that hiring her was the best decision I made when it comes to planning a wedding.
