The Dr. Phillips House is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! We fell in love as we were touring, The atmosphere is very laid back, but quaint, intimate and elegant. I was able to plan my April 2025 wedding for 85 people in about 8 months with little to NO STRESS or ANXIETY with the help of Lely, Juan and staff. We were very impressed with Lely and the staff. Lely is soo friendly, professional, and was completely hands-on for the entire event. The food was amazing!
Hands down, this house is BEAUTIFUL and has everything you are looking for to plan a very nice, intimate wedding. It’s self-contained with all the necessary details taken care of in advance on site: the set-up, Millenia Catering, the open-bar, the linens, the hotel rooms, etc.....this venue knows what it's doing and will take care of you on your special day or event!! My Wedding day was the BEST EVER!!!

This venue is a hidden gem in the middle of the downtown Orlando area. It’s pretty much already decorated, so minimal decor was needed. It’s a beautiful indoor/outdoor space, and provides a room upstairs for the bride and groom as well as the option to book additional rooms. (I recommend getting one the night before, it was so nice to wake up and be able to get ready at my own pace!)

The package we selected included tables and chairs, catering, a beer and wine bar, as well as the venue. It made it SO EASY to only have one contact for everything. But here’s the best part-

THE FOOD. IS. AMAZING. I’ve worked in catering for a very long time and never expect much from
Wedding food. I had so many people tell me that this was the best meal they had at a wedding pretty much ever. Seriously better than weddings I’ve attended at big name hotels and Disney.

They made it so easy and provided me a great backdrop for my wedding, as well as wonderful service!

The Dr. Phillips House is such a gorgeous and unique venue! We loved that there are 6 bedrooms within the house that you can reserve for the night of your wedding and the day before if needed. We booked 1 room for the night before and then used it as the girls getting ready room for the morning. For the night of our wedding we reserved all 6 rooms and were able to have most of our wedding party stay on sight which was great!

The staff here is also amazing and really made our wedding perfect! I was nervous about it raining and we talked through multiple different rain backup plans (which thankfully we didn’t have to use). They went above and beyond and made us feel so special and took care of us the whole night. We wanted to step away for a moment during cocktail hour and they brought us a whole plate of the cocktail appetizers we had chosen along with a drink for each of us. For dinner, we chose the buffet option but they brought us each a prepared plate to our table. By the end of the night they even had two leftover boxes of food waiting in our hotel room fridge in case we got hungry later. The food was amazing and so is this venue! I cannot imagine having chosen a different option for our wedding as everything was perfect with the Dr. Phillips House!

Having my wedding at the Dr. Phillips House was everything I could have wanted and then some. I loved how intimate our wedding was, but still was unique and FUN. Angie and the team were OUTSTANDING! The house was beautiful, clean, and made for the perfect “garden/house party” a bride could ask for. Not only is the house beautiful and functional, but the price truly was unbeatable. We even paid to have all of the rooms booked the night of the wedding - how cool is it to be able to stay at your venue the entire day and overnight?! The amount of compliments we received for how beautiful the venue was and how much it felt so special was beyond what I could keep up with. Angie - thank you for being an amazing person to work with. I truly admire your professionalism, fun, and loyalty to doing a great job. THANK YOU! You’ll be seeing us again (maybe just for a fun 30th birthday party 🥳)

Not only did our wedding go so smoothly! The venue coordinator Angie was a gem and works with you and your needs! The price is perfect, they have millenia catering who has amazing food, great taste! Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for intimate but needs to invite up to 100 guests. I wouldn’t have more than 100 only because the reception area inside is not the biggest, unless your entire reception is outside. I had the ceremony outside by the gazebo, the reception (dinner inside with 90 guests) and dance floor outside which was magical with the lighting they have set up and the atmosphere! 10/10 recommend! The staff as well on the wedding day are very attentive and very caring! Thank you so much for letting us be there on our special day to celebrate our marriage!

This venue is so beautiful and everything we wanted! The in-house catering was amazing, the food is DELICIOUS. Angie, the venue manager, is a dream to work with. This venue was everything we could ask for and more ❤️

We cannot stop talking about our wedding here. Everything was incredible. The venue is absolutely beautiful. We loved everything about it. Angie made it even better. She is absolutely amazing and truly cares about your event. She never hesitated answering my million questions. She truly let us make our event exactly the way we wanted it. We rented out the rooms for the night before and night of, and cannot even describe how absolutely beautiful those rooms are! Everything was amazing there and we were so in love with our wedding and that beautiful venue.

We were married on 10/31/2020. Angie was amazing at both the venue and catering. They were so professional. They made our wedding day so easy and more than anything I could imagine. They have a great price, a connected caterer, and so many things included. It was also intimate and just our wedding there. So no waking through it seeing other weddings or events going on. Many of my guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, how well it fit our theme, the delicious food, and intimate setting. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Our reception was a Sunday brunch and it was perfection! The venue is absolutely beautiful! The staff of millennia catering was amazing, and we wanted for nothing! We worked with Angie throughout the entire process, and she was so easy to deal with and extremely responsive! Our one concern while booking was the highway noise in the back yard portion of the venue, but with music and speakers you can’t hear the highway. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how yummy the food was! We can’t say enough good things!

My husband and I recently got married at the Dr. Phillips House. It is the perfect venue for anyone looking to get married in an intimate historic home setting. Angie was amazing from day one and was very quick to respond to our questions throughout the whole process. When wedding day arrived everything from the bridal suite, to the ceremony and reception area and the catering were perfection. All of our wedding guests truly enjoyed the beauty of the home and could not stop talking about how delicious the food was. We 10/10 recommend the Dr. Phillips House as a wedding venue. We are so happy to have selected the venue Dr. Phillips House on Lake Lucerne. It is the most beautiful venue i feel and was perfect for our event. From the selection process, tour of the venue, catering, giving us the option to allow for outside catering for the main meal as we required a fully vegetarian meal, to the staff the day of the event were just wonderful and very accommodating. Angie was so patient with us during the planning and all through the day of the event. j She worked with us every step of the way. The staff the day of the event were exceptional. They were attentive and so kind to all of the guests. The appetizers and the desserts provided by the venue were absolutely delicious. Had so many positive comments from our guests. We worked with Angie in hosting our wedding for circa 90 people at the wonderful Dr. Phillips House and the whole process was completely seamless.

We first visited the house as one of four potential destination venues we were taking a look at in the Orlando area and it was truly love at first sight. This venue has everything and we fell in love with the home's classic architecture paired with its dreamy, romantic outdoor spaces - it's beautiful and truly comes alive at night with with twinkle lights.

The service throughout the evening of our wedding was impeccable and the free-flowing layout of the home is so perfect for mingling no matter how your guests choose to spend their time at your wedding.

Our one reservation about this venue was its proximity to the highway but we didn't notice the noise at all once the ceremony had begun and the music played. Thank you to Angie and the team for providing us the wedding venue of our dreams. We cannot imagine a more perfect spot to have had our wedding.

This venue is so stunning and unique, and the Dr. Phillips House was an easy choice for our wedding! Millennia catering does all the food, and they were great to work with as well, with very reasonable rates. Angie was our main point of contact leading up to our event and she was so kind and pleasant! Super helpful, very available, and all around made me feel more at ease to talk to her. Our day-of contact was Amy, and she is the sweetest little thing, and so thoughtful! She made certain that our every need was met for both our wedding and our stay that evening. Even though there were a few hitches due to rain and some schedule shuffling, the team at the Dr. Phillips House worked so hard to make sure it had the least possible impact on our experience. It was truly a beautiful wedding, and I have an incredible vendor team to thank for it!

We loved hosting our wedding at the Dr. Phillips House. The courtyard with the gazebo was perfect for our outdoor ceremony and the interior of the home was gorgeous for hosting our dinner and reception. It was also very nice to have the bridal suite included in our rental for the night of our wedding. Communication was prompt and professional. Highly recommend this venue!

What a perfect venue!! The price was so reasonable and everything was picturesque. Catering is amazing and we could not be more pleased with our experience.

When we went to tour it was immediately love at first site. We will admit that from the photos online it didn’t seem that great, but as soon as we walked through the front doors we knew that was our venue. It’s an antique “Savannah-style” estate complete with antique furniture and an old-time feel. It is very affordable, including the catering and bar services. It’s also a bed and breakfast, so you have the option of renting out all 6 rooms in the house for the night with FREE breakfast for those staying the night! They have a large, newly finished courtyard in the back that is perfect for cocktail hour. They are very accommodating with special requests and Angie is a fantastic person to work with. We are very excited to host our special day here!! The price we listed includes buffet dinner and premium open bar, tables, ceremony chairs, linens, 5 vendor meals, 1 overnight stay for bride and groom, venue, cake cutting, etc.

This was only the seconds venue that I visited and we booked only a few days after our tour. My wedding was yesterday and this proved the be the absolute perfect place for my intimate wedding. I had about 50 guests and the dining room fit everyone perfectly with comfortable elbow space. The Dr. Phillips house is beautiful with an enchanting historic charm. It can be dressed up or dressed down. The staff was very helpful and flexible. The price is reasonable as well and if u picl Millenia Catering off of their vendor list your wedding will be spectacular. There is not one thing I would change about my wedding event at this venue. The evening became magical as all the market lights came on in the courtyard and we danced the night away.

I was so stressed trying to find the perfect wedding venue. The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne had everything we wanted and needed for our 70 person wedding. The staff was quick to respond to all of my emails. The bridal party and myself stayed the night prior to the wedding in the Dr. Phillips room and was able to have our hair and makeup stylist doll us up in the room. The room was huge, the gazebo was beautiful, and the lights made the venue something out of a fairy tale!

The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne is an ideal location for a wedding! We loved the charm, the history and the unique features this venue had to offer. The location is perfect in Orlando, centered in downtown and easy for everyone to get to. The staff are very friendly and great to work with. We had Angie help us and she is amazing, very responsive and patient with me with all of my questions. The venue itself is stunning, it has a charm all in its own and very little decor is needed. We got married in October, it was warm but no rain. At night the lights strung up in the courtyard were so pretty. If you are looking for a venue that is unique, this is a great place to pursue. They have great wedding packages and are affordable, they make it very easy on you! We were so pleased from start to finish and loved this venue! The venue is an active bed and breakfast, so bonus we got to stay in an amazing suite the evening of our wedding! The room was huge! Beautiful decor, very clean and comfortable accommodations.

There aren't enough good things I can say about this place! The staff is such a please to work with. I would call at the oddest hours and someone was always there to assist me. (Although Angie only works day shift)
Let's talk about the venue: Absolutely beautiful. The pictures don't capture how breathtaking this venue truly is. From the dramatic tall columns at the front of the Dr. Phillips house, to the very back "Garden" area. I couldn't get enough. I actually opted to have my ceremony back in the garden area, cocktail and dancing in the actual courtyard, and dining inside. The Garden is such a hidden gem inside of the heart of Orlando. The forest feel in the midst of a busy city captivated each one of my guests. I was able to put french doors outside and come through them .. getting married under a huge gorgeous tree. The courtyard had lights put up prior to my wedding, much to my surprise and I almost cried of happiness when I saw them. Inside the Dr. Phillips is filled with character and vintage find in every detail of the house. I loved it.
They have an OPEN BAR for 4 hours for astronomically LOW prices. (Which sold my Husband right away, lol) If you're looking for a beautiful vintage venue- The Courtard is the way to go.

I cannot say enough about this venue. As an out of state bride, I was fearing what the outcome would be and not having seen the plAce in person made me nervous. However, throughout my planning, Angie was very attentive and super accommodating. The venue is beautiful at night and gave is that homey feel we so wanted. I would totally recommend this place.

We had our wedding at the Dr. Phillips House and it was perfect! Everyone was commenting on how magical and surreal the location was - we held our ceremony in the backyard under the gazebo, dinner inside, and then dancing outside again. Angie was wonderful to work with. She answered every single question (no matter how silly) and was flexible with payments (I tend to forget dates very easily). Although there was some confusion about another wedding the next day with a bride of the same last name and some rooms that were held, everything was worked out and the day went smoothly. The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne was extremely affordable and many of our guests loved staying at the location of the venue. The IW Phillips House was the perfect location for a small, intimate wedding.

We got married at the Dr. Phillips House. I cannot describe how perfect everything was. I have been to countless weddings and seen all the issues that can arise. We had no problem whatsoever with anything throughout the night and the staff was excellent. Angie was beyond helpful throughout the whole year of planning. She is so responsive and answered every question we had. I admit to asking some pretty specific and strange questions, and she was always happy to help. We were a little concerned about the layout- having dinner inside and dancing outside is unusual. But, I have to say, we really preferred it! The dinner was so intimate, even though we had about 70 guests. We were able to easily speak to all our guests, without having a dance floor segregating everyone. The room we used for our honeymoon suite and for the girls to get ready (not the usual one- we booked the Dr. Phillips Room for the same price) was absolutely stunning. Our photographer and videographer were so pleased with the amount of light and the space in the room. I cannot recommend this venue enough. We even had some guests stay in the Wellborn, and it was so convenient. The breakfast at the IW House is great too! I am so happy with how our day went and I attribute most of it to our fabulous venue. It needs little decoration because it is so decorated already. If you're considering it, definitely choose it if you want a unique, intimate, beautiful space for your day!

The first time my fiancee and I toured the Dr. Phillips house we knew it was the venue for us. It was the perfect size for our wedding and we loved that our ceremony and reception would be in the same location. The staff was wonderful and went above and beyond to ensure our special day was everything we hoped for.

The moment I went to visit the venue for the first time I knew that I had found the place where I was going to get married. It is so beautiful, classy, quaint, and the perfect spot for any special occasion. I was married at the Dr. Phillips house. Angie did a fabulous job keeping me updated on any questions I may have had and overall the level of communication was awesome. I had both my ceremony and reception at the venue and everything went extremely smooth. If you're looking for a beautiful place for an event, the Courtyard at Lake Lucerne is a wonderful option.

We LOVED this venue. We had the option of choosing the Dr. Phillip's house (The yellow mansion with the Gazebo in the back) or the I.W. Phillips house (blue wrap around patio) house. I'm sure a lot of people choose the Dr. Phillips house as it is breathtaking, however, the IW house is just as equally PERFECT! In fact, from a couple of acquaintances, it has been referred to as the 'quiet, cooler' outdoor wedding area compared to the Dr. Phillips house (the Dr. Phillips house is not as shaded, and a bit loud with the 408 road. My personal preference of course is to recommend the IW house with the choice between the two. The inside and outside of this house was completely breathtaking in the evening all lit up. My guests are STILL raving about what a beautiful venue the IW house was and how they had no idea it was tucked away there off of Orange Avenue. We were married on the hottest day so far this year (it was 96 degrees as a high) with a 6p start time. While still hot, at the IW house the courtyard was completely shaded and there was no 408 noise with that location. It was perfect!!!

A beautiful bed and breakfast for a romantic wedding. Angie and the whole staff go above and beyond to create a memorable wedding for the bridal couple, families, and guests.

Fantastic venue for an intimate wedding. We had 60 guest. Everyone had a blast and was taken care of.

The Bed and Breakfast(Dr. Philips House) was so beautiful for my wedding. I had the time of my life with no worries. I would love to go back for a visit sometime soon.

The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne was the first venue we visited- and we absolutely fell in love with the charm and character of the place! We chose the Dr. Phillips House (the yellow one). The courtyard in the back was perfect for our ceremony and the inside dining rooms provided an intimate feel for our guests as they dined and conversed during the dinner hour. After dinner, the courtyard area was easy to transform into the reception space. Our guests loved the indoor/outdoor atmosphere and we received so many compliments on our choice of venue.

Angie is the point of contact for the wedding side of the venue and is absolutely a dream to work with! She was incredibly responsive to all of our questions and was easy to reach by phone (during office hours) or email after hours. The packages are very affordable, and Angie was great about helping us work through the contract and add additional options until we had our dream wedding. We are so pleased we went with this venue!

I couldn't have been more pleased with the venue. The courtyard at the I.W. Phillips house was breathtaking at night and was perfect for our wedding of 60 guests. Angie and Sherry were awesome and so very helpful. I wouldn't have changed a thing!!!

The team at The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne made our wedding day simple and stress-free. Our guests really enjoyed the experience of staying for a few nights at the property. We were all able to socialize at breakfast and the venue really felt like home because so many of our guests were staying there for the wedding night. The venue itself is stunning, but the helpful and friendly staff and cooperating vendors are the best. Angie Vargas, the wedding coordinator was so patient with me and helped us through every step. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have an intimate, meaningful ceremony and reception.

We hosted my daughter's wedding at The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne. It was by far the best wedding location of the venues we considered. The wedding was beautiful and the pictures are spectacular. The staff at The Courtyard know how to do a wedding and make it a special day of memories. Angie was our Salesperson. She was awesome. We hired Sherri as our Day-Of Coordinator. She was amazing. Our guests LOVED staying at the B&B during the event. They felt treated to luxury and pampering. My highest kudos to The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne.

Absolutely AMAZING venue! They exceeded our expectations. They offer packages so it was very affordable. Angie was our point of contact and she always answered our questions in a prompt and timely manner. And believe me, I asked her a TON of questions! My husband and I were able to pay for our entire wedding on our own, which was impressive to us considering we're both young professionals (and I'm still in school). I highly recommend this venue if you're looking to have a beautiful, affordable, and intimate wedding.

This venue was the most private and romantic location I could imagine. The very first time I stepped foot in the Dr. Phillip's House I knew it was where I wanted to have my wedding. They provided the most friendly and comforting staff and were so helpful throughout the planning process. Their wedding packages are great for anyone on a budget but still wanting a venue that will amaze your guests. I didn't want a typical conference room decorated for a party. I wanted something cozy and romantic that would make our guests truly feel that they were part of something special and make everyone feel like family. The Courtyard of Lake Lucerne made this possible in everyway. The suites are amazing too! When we entered our honeymoon suite we were taken back by how beautiful it was. They truly took care of us and made us feel like royalty. If you want a romantic and unique all-inclusie venue for your wedding this is the place that can make it all possible.

We received so many compliments about the venue. Courtyard at Lake Lucerne is truly a gem tucked away in downtown Orlando. Fabulous day and perfect wedding. Everything went exactly as planned and the venue was gourgeous. I was able to get into my bridal suite by 12:30 and hotel staff went over and beyond to accommodate our wedding party. Many guests came from throughout the USA and abroad and could not stop raving about how beautiful everything looked. We used Meiners catering and they were superb. We had 125 guests at the IW Phillips home and it was not crowded at all. Judy from Meiners knew exactly how to set it up for comfort. Our coordinator they assigned us for the day, Madison, was brand new, and if the DJ had not told us we would have never known. She was awesome and helpful. Loved the place and my wedding was everything I dreamed of and more.

Married here October 28th. The Courtyard was amazing. Our wedding couldn't have been at a better venue. We had a little hitch at the beginning of our day, yet the courtyard made it a non-issue and kept our vendors and guests all happy and informed. Everything ended up amazing! Great service and communication the entire year we dealt with them.

My husband and I had our wedding and reception at the I.W. Phillips house which is the courtyard-garden esque house next to the big yellow Dr. Phillips House. It was absolutely beautiful. The lush landscaping kept my guests cool for my April wedding and it needed minimal decorating! I was in love with the twinkle lights, and visited several times prior to my wedding to ask the front desk (who is so very kind) to turn them on for me just so I could imagine my day. Couldn't imagine working with someone more responsive, flexible, and sweet as Angie. This is DEFINITELY the place to go (in either house!) for a wedding on a budget, or even if you have the big bucks! Perfect!

The Courtyard was an amazing Venue to work with! They do a lot of weddings there, and it would be easy for them to churn out cookie cutter events, but they definitely had the flexibility and understanding to make sure that we had the event we wanted. Angie and all the other staff at the venue were extremely accomodating even in the event of last minute change of plans. They were attentive to every need but stayed laid back about everything. The space was elegant and clean, and the staff made all the transitions pleasant and seamless. I really enjoyed working with them and cannot more highly recommend them!

Such a gorgeous setting for a gorgeous day!!!!!!! Angie was extremely easy to work with, and super helpful all the time! The venue is a beautiful house that was exactly where we wanted to celebrate our love! What an amazing place to have a wedding! Everything from the planning to the day of was made easy by the highly helpful and responsive coordinator, Angie! The location was beautiful. every photo came out perfectly as the house and gardens were a perfect scenery! The caterer they provide was fantastic as well. This venue is highly affordable, and I would recommend upgrading to use their valet service and open bar as well. This is the most affordable open bar you will find in all of Orlando!

I loved this venue. I have zero complaints and neither do any of my guests. Angie was excellent at answering all of my questions usually within 24 hours no matter how silly they were or was able to point me in the correct direction if I needed to talk to someone else. She was always helpful and responsive, something that every bride can appreciate. Lauren, who was my onsite coordinator was amazing. She wasn't a day of coordinator or anything, but she made sure everything was perfect and I honestly didn't have to worry about anything. Apparently 30 minutes or so before the ceremony there was an accident involving champagne flutes, right in the middle of the action... and not only did I not know about it until later but it was handled and things went on without a hitch. Also when I had a slight miscommunication with whether our cupcake vendor was going to be setting up our cupcakes, she immediately got on the phone with them and dealt with it. Based on what I was told her job description was (basically to get me and mine down the aisle and then manage the bar etc) she went 100% above and beyond as far as I am concerned. I couldn't have asked for anyone better.

In short, this was a fantastic venue. I had a chance to see the inside of quite a few of their rooms and they were all nice and clean and well decorated. No one could complain about anything. Don't think twice about having your wedding here.

Beautiful place to have a ceremony if you're looking for vintage chic. Everyone is very professional and help move things along during the day.

Excellent. Had my rehearsal dinner there and it could not have been nicer, cleaner or easier. Totally hassle free. It was like the house was ours for the night. Everyone was so professional and easy to work with.

Wow! The Courtyard was fantastic! Angie is great to work with and very responsive. Our venue coordinator - Lauren - was so calm and knowledgeable that it put me at ease during the stressful day of the wedding. All the guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. I am very happy and pleased with the services provided by the Courtyard. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious!

The venue was beautiful, the day of coordinator that the facility provided, Sherri, was awesome and helpful. We chose the "elegant but affordable" package, and even after all our upgrades it was still a great deal. All of the guests had a wonderful time and had nothing but great things to say about the experience as well.

I will admit I was nervous about having an outdoor wedding in June in Florida - everyone knows it will be hot, and it's 50/50 if it will rain. But after seeing everyone's reactions I know I couldn't have found a better place. We were at the IW Phillips house, in the garden, and it was magical. The lush greenery kept the temperature down and was the perfect setting. Our entire family had traveled from out of town so many of them were staying right on property, which saved me the headache of worrying about people driving and/or getting lost. Angie and David were wonderful about answering my many many questions and they let me come in as often as I wanted before the wedding to show it off to my parents or to our dj, who was a first-timer at this venue. Could not have asked for anything better :D

We had our ceremony and reception in the IW Phillips House, and it was incredible. As soon as I saw the location, I fell in love with it! I had so many compliments on the location. Many guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to. Our pictures were breathtaking with all the natural beauty of the historic home. Angie, the coordinator, was very helpful with all my questions and guiding me through the process. They have multiple open houses that I would highly recommend attending. It was so nice to not worry about dressing up a drab reception hall. This venue has so much character! The only thing I had to add was small centerpieces for the tables. The honeymoon suite was lovely and very relaxing after such a long day. I don’t have a single complaint!

I'm so glad that I chose the Courtyard for my ceremony and reception! I had my wedding at the I.W. Phillips House and the courtyard was absolutely breathtaking at night. Many of my guests asked me how I found such a beautiful location! Angie the sales coordinator was really on top of everything and answered my emails next business day. I recieved my full deposit within the 10 business days they promised, and they let me check in to the honeymoon suite a little early the day of the wedding so that I could get my makeup done (hired a makeup artist to do the whole bridal party so we needed all the time we could get). I would definitely recommend them to any other Orlando bride who is interested in getting married in a place with lots of character.

This is an absolute slice of heaven located in downtown Orlando. The beautiful setting is perfect for weddings, whether you're at the IW Philips or Dr Philips house. Angie is great to work with and the rest of the staff is great too! I would totally recommend this to anybody who is looking to get married in Orlando.

The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne is an ideal place for a wedding. My wedding was Sunday December 6, 2009 at the Dr. Phillips House and it was the perfect Victorian Mansion. It had it's own elegance and class. Everyone that works there is very helpful and Angie the wedding coordinator is there to make sure that your special day goes off without a hitch. It was sooooo perfect and I would do it all over again.

Organized, professional and courteous. Angie is beyond fantastic to work with. The price of the package was worth it. All of the vendors they recommend were also professional and sweet people. Our wedding was beautiful and our bridal suite was from a dream. We loved them and owe them many thank yous.

I can't speak highly enough of this venue. The Courtyard is tucked away in a little corner of downtown Orlando (underneath the 408 overpass, ironically, but all traffic noise fades away the minute you enter either of their historic houses.) And as one of the previous reviewers states, your guests will be amazed that such a venue exists in Orlando. We had our wedding reception at the IW Phillips House, which we chose over the Dr. Phillips House because we loved the garden, plus it's more casual and less like a big dining room. It was SPECTACULAR. The little fountain, the lights in the trees, the lush surroundings ... beautiful! And since the venue is naturally beautiful you really won't need to spend any money on decorations. Their prices are a steal for what they give you (ask about their discount packages!) and the service is excellent. I had a great experience with Angie, the coordinator. She was so responsive and would return any emails or phone calls almost immediately. The venue is also very flexible: kids under 6 eat free, your vendors eat free, you get a complimentary floral arrangement for your buffet table, they will refund your money if you overestimated your guest count up to 10 days before the wedding. There is also a night in the honeymoon suite included in your package. We were lucky enough to be able to stay in the honeymoon suite for 2 nights, since nobody had booked a wedding there the following day. And I will say that it is a wonderful place to wake up in the morning, surrounded by all the trees and the sound of running water, their breakfast is delicious and their wait staff super attentive. Wonderful and 5 stars all around!!!

I highly recommend The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne. I wanted a venue where I could have both my ceremony and reception at the same place and I wanted a garden type/vintage feel. Out of all of the possible venues that I looked at, The Courtyard won because their customer service was by far superior to any other venue I contacted. Angie was awesome to work with and always answered my emails or phone calls in a timely manner. The venue is absolutely gorgeous at night with the way all the trees are lit up. A To sum it up, The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne was awesome and everything I was hoping for!

I had been to a friends wedding at the Courtyard years ago and had a great time then.
The setting is superb. When guests arrive, they are truly shocked that a place like this exists so close to downtown. You do not feel like you are anywhere near the city. Our wedding was at the IW Philips House, yet we chose to stay in the Dr Philips House in the Attic Room for the night before and the night of, and what a place to get ready and return to after a great reception and even a night out for an after party in downtown Orlando with some of our guests.
For such a traditional event this classic, romantic setting has all of the bases covered.
They have suggested vendors, and we would say to take the suggestions. It was almost as if it was all-inclusive. Our vendors had all worked together in the past and all had respect for each other. All very professional and all focused on us as a couple and on our guests and the night as a whole.
We attended multiple tastings at the Courtyard and must have walked through every room there as we had most guests coming from out of town.
Our room was amazing, the complimentary wine for the guests was a hit, and the setting transported everyone into a romantic, classical mindset within walking distance to downtown yet surrounded by trees filled with twinkling lights, lush landscape and angel statues. Just a tip - decorations were hardly needed.
Could not have been happier!!!
ALSO - our guest list did fluctuate and Angie adjusted our cost as well as bumped us up to call brands when we hit the right number of guests for that limit... bonus!

We could not have asked for a more beautiful winter wedding. Our ceremony and reception were held at the I.W. Phillips House because it is a more intimate space. The decor and gardens were so beautiful that we didn't have to add much in the way of decorations. Angie was very helpful and always returned our calls. We were lucky to have the only date at the entire facility (either site), and we were able to come in a little earlier than normal to set up some things. We were so impressed with the inn staff; they were great!

We had our wedding and ceremony in the IW Phillips house. Both houses are unbelievably gorgeous but we felt the IW house was more intimate for our smaller wedding. The location is under some overpasses but we couldn't hear a thing anytime that we went to visit the location. ALL of the staff were great and so welcoming. We had a live band and placed them on the dance floor area instead of on the porch and had more tables added to the porch. They offer great options and ideas for your wedding.

The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne is truly one of the most amazing wedding venues. I searched and searched, and so many places are over priced, the wedding coordinator is not accommodating, ect. It was a blessing when i finally found this place! The courtyard is a historical bed and breakfast, and it is absolutely beautiful. They have two different historical houses you can choose from. They both have a garden courtyard where you can have your ceremony, and then the reception takes place both in and outdoors. If the weather is bad, they know how to accommodate the whole wedding indoors/under a roof. I highly recommend anyone get married here. It is the best place for a beautiful, fun, and memorable event!

The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne is a treasure in downtown Orlando! I could not have asked for a more perfect venue! Based on posted photos, the Dr. Phillips house appears to be the more popular venue, but in my opinion NOTHING could compare to the courtyard setting at the I.W. Phillips house. It's exotic with a touch of quaint old Florida. Having a majority of our family stay on property with us (and having 2 nearby overflow hotels) was perfect! We received so many compliments from our family staying on property about the character of the buildings and the rooms that just added to our wedding weekend! During our wedding planning process, the original event coordinator left and we were not notified until we called asking for her. This was probably just a result of bad timing and Rafael the replacement was very easy to work with--so everything worked out perfectly in the end! Many vendors have worked at this venue (and 2 of ours had gotten married here as well) so things ran very smoothly! They also have a contingency plan for rain, which thankfully we didn't need, but was a great selling point!

This venue is a charming find in the Orlando area. We went to several beautiful venues but for our little over 100 guests none could match their price packages for the quality. We had our wedding reception at Dr Phillips House and we were very happy with our choice! Though it turned out to be one of the warmest nights in the month of May our guests danced like crazy in the courtyard and we had a blast. We received comments from guests too saying how neat the venue was. Our contact through the whole process was Angie. She was great! She was professional and down to earth , we were comfortable with her from the start. A wedding night suite was included in our package and it was very nice. We actually are returning there for a night in celebration of our 1 year anniversary!

My husband and I just got married at the I.W. Phillips house and it was AMAZING! It was fabulous. The Courtyard staff was very, very friendly and helpful. Sherry, Angie, Jacob and everyone there went out of their way to make sure we were happy and felt welcomed. We had our ceremony and reception there. It definitely was the best place we could have picked to get married. Simply beautiful!! At first because it is situated so close to the expressway you think it's not going to be. Once you get back to the magical gardens and courtyard you completely forget about the expressway and we really didn't hear traffic noise. Our guest count was about 75 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is beautiful and perfect for unique pictures. We really didn’t have to do much for decorating since the house and the gardens look so lovely. It was nice for us because we had our friends stay in the other 2 rooms in the house. We felt like it was all ours! We did not have any issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend getting married at the Courtyard. It was easy, beautiful and FUN!

Angie and her team were fabulous. The house itself boasts a ton of character, so having the opportunity to get ready for your big day amidst a piece of history is very unique. Not to mention having the chance to spend the night at the venue is not something most venues often offer, aside from hotel venues. The grounds were well-kept and clean. For our wedding size of about 100, the venue was the perfect size. We loved that the venue has separate getting-ready spaces for the bride and the groom as well.

We loved Dr Phillips House for our wedding! With COVID- the outdoor space was perfect for our wedding of 75 guests. Angie was amazing to work with as she was responsive and super accommodating to answer all of our questions and concerns throughout our planning process. Angie also helped us with our menu selection and everything from Millenia catering was delicious! The day of—the servers and bartenders were super attentive, as was Angie. The venue was gorgeous and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.

We had an great experience with The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne as our venue. We were married at the Dr. Phillips House and had a group of about 60. There was definitely room for many more, but we enjoyed the intimacy and uniqueness of the setting. Angie was very responsive to contact and any changes we made. The team member onsite the day of the wedding were very personable, helpful and worked well with other embers of the team to create a beautiful event.

We fell in love with the IW Phillips house for our winter wedding reception from the moment we first visited. It is very peaceful and secluded, and Angie is very kind to work with. Truly felt like home. Can't wait to spend a night there celebrating with family and friends under the glow of twinkling lights!

The venue is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for an evening wedding, which is what I had. The staff was very accommodating and they made organizing the event very easy. The only reason why they didn't get 5 stars across the board is because they seem to have some bookkeeping issues. I paid with a check, but it wasn't deposited until after it expired. I sent another check and followed up and an email emphasizing that they need to deposit it within two weeks or it would expire. They did, but then both I and my husband received calls while we were on our honeymoon saying that we still owed them money. I called when I returned to the country and after they looked into it, they realized that it was their error. I had paid in full but, for whatever reason, they did not record the payment. All of that was a bit annoying, especially the calls while on our honeymoon. Otherwise, it's a wonderful venue.

When my now husband and I first saw The Courtyard we fell in love with it. We wanted a backyard type of wedding, and this location was perfect. Our actual wedding exceeded our imaginations and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

Angie was so easy to work with and promptly returned calls or emails. I had some banking issues when it came time to make one of the payments and she was very accommodating and understanding about everything.

The absolute key to our wedding going so smoothly was the wedding coordinator the venue provides for only $50. Tayler was at our rehearsal itself and at the entire wedding. She made sure the bridal party knew where to be and when and just generally made sure all the behind the scene stuff worked out. When we first walked in there was a sign pointing the way to the wedding and my husband's last name was spelled incorrectly. I had a mini freak out, but Tayler immediately fixed the sign and apologized. We also had cupcakes instead of a full cake and had paid for and requested a stand to be delivered by the company- but they never brought it. Tayler was able to find an alternative stand and it was so much prettier and more fitting than the original stand was anyway. I highly suggest anyone who chooses this venue opt for the coordinator and request her! She was worth far more than the $50 and we gave her a good tip for her help.

The only issue, which is really a non-issue, is that the event had to end by 10:00pm. We happily paid an extra $500 to have the place from 5p-10p instead of just 4 hours, but everything was so perfect that I never wanted it to end!

The bridal suite is also gorgeous, spacious and the bed is so comfortable.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants a classy, elegant wedding that is a little less traditional than the normal wedding hall with the draped chairs and fake wood dance floor.

This place was amazing. My husband and I wanted something a little different from your typical ballroom and the IW Phillips house with its wide porch and the beautiful garden was perfect. We had just about 75 guests and there was more than enough room for everyone, whether they wanted to enjoy the white tables on the porch, relax inside the gorgeous parlor and dining room or sit out on the patio near the dance floor. I really liked how the house already had so much character so we did not have to go crazy with decorations to make the space feel beautiful. Everywhere you looked there was something interesting to see. The only thing that was a problem was the heat. But that's our own fault for having an outdoor wedding in June. The bartenders were amazing at making sure the drinks were cold and the inside of the house was blissfully air-conditioned. Too bad we couldn't dance in there!

We truly made the right decision when we chose to have our wedding at The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne. After doing tons of research online, and so many options, my Husband and I finally narrowed down our venues that we were going to visit. I had previously been to The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne and had fallen in love with it. However, my Husband wasn't convinced and had his heart set at another venue. The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne was the last venue that we met with and once we viewed the property and met with Angie, my Husband was in awe so we decided to book our event. We chose the Dr. Phillips house because we loved the gazebo setting and the amount of room for our guests.

I would have given a 5 star rating, because our wedding day turned out amazing, but we were not too happy with the event manager that was assigned to us. During the rehearsal, she was not very friendly and it made the whole process awkward and uncomfortable. Multiple family members approached me with complaints about the person who had set up the rehearsal saying that she was cranky and uptight.

Other than that, everything went smoothly and we had no complaints on the Wedding Day. All of our guests enjoyed the evening and were very impressed with the venue. We still have family talking about how beautiful and elegant the venue was. The other nice thing about the venue is all of the amazing photo opportunities! We would highly recommend the venue to anyone looking for an elegant, classy, intimate and memorable wedding.

Getting married at the Courtyards at Lake Lucerne was amazing! Everything went wonderfully, the staff are very professional which includes being highly accommodating as most of us brides are doing this for the first time and we all have a different day in mind. We catered with Meiner's, which was the more affordable option.. the food exceeded all expectations, leaving zero leftovers! I highly recommend this venue!!

It was very easy to work with the Courtyard. Angie handled most things for us and she was detailed in her responses to my questions. Also, the Courtyard really had the best package that we could find. If you are looking for a place to have a wedding ceremony and reception with 100 guests or less this is an excellent venue especially for the price.

If you want a Victorian wedding or outdoor wedding-the Courtyard at Lake Lucerne is your place. It is absolutely beautiful and the venue itself is decoration enough. Angie the event planner was very helpful on any questions that I had along the way and they were all very professional. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants a outdoor ceremony and indoor reception spot in one location it was wonderful!

The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding. The setting was gorgeous and cozy, a balance that is hard to achieve. The staff was ever-supportive. Angie answered all of our questions and Denise, our event manager, was patient and willing to work with us when my family got in a fender-bender on the way to the wedding. Many people asked us how we found such a gorgeous location. We wanted casual elegance and The Courtyard was a huge part of making that happen.

Such a beautiful place to hold a wedding + reception. I have nothing but to praise about everyone esp. Angie, the event manager. Angie has been helping and guiding us along the way and she responses to emais immediately.

The only complain that I have/ guests have is the event coordinator assigned to us.

1- Our event coordinator provided by the Courtyard at Lake Lucerne (note: not a wedding planner/coordinator,) Denise, was not as helpful as I thought she was going to be. At some point, she was being quite impolite to my bridesmaids and the rest of my vendors/family. For example, our catering company and I agreed on putting a small reception table near the entrance, but she insisted what we wanted didn't work and she yanked the table from my bridesmaids leaving my bridesmaids feeling very uncomfortable. Another example: My cousin, who arranged all the floral decorations and who happened to be a guest at the hotel that weekend, asked Denise very politely where she could put the centerpieces temporarily (which she just moved them from her hotel room to the Dr. Phillip House) while waiting for the tables to be setup by the catering staff. Denise could have been saying, "anywhere is fine" or "it doesn't matter to me" etc. Instead, she rolled her eyes and said with attitude, telling my cousin, "I'm not supposed to answer your question because I'm not a wedding planner." C'mon, everyone knew her role was not the wedding planner/coordinator, but since she works for the Courtyard, I guess answering a simple question like that isn't something that difficult, right? Third example: Since we hired a live music group for the entire day, we did not want to spend extra money by hiring a DJ just for setting up mics and speakers. Now, I had my cousin-in-law who has some knowledge in hooking up speakers and mics for his conferences. At some point, he was testing things out and left the wires exposed on the ground. Denise, went up to my cousin-in-law, telling him as a professional he should have known better to conceal the wires. Uh-umm... ok, even if he is a DJ, that was rude for her to say that. Not to mention, that "DJ" is one of my honorable guests! If my cousin-in-law told me before I tipped Denise, I really would not want to tip her at all. The last but not the least complain I have: By 3:30pm, while I was busying getting dressed and ready for the ceremony, she came to my bridal suite and told me, 'Hey Karen, I just want to let you know that I am not the wedding coordinator. Couple of your friends and family keep asking me questions." OOOOOkeee... did she expect me went downstairs in my wedding gown and announced to my entire family that STOP ASKING DENISE QUESTIONS, FOLKS! What was the point for her to make that special trip to my bridal suite for? My cousins, friends and I've been bridesmaids and have been to numbers of wedding in the past and we have never encounted anyone as rude and as unprofessional as Denise. Otherwise, everyone from the Courtyard at Lake Lucerne was great and we couldn't have asked for anything more from them.

All in all, it is a very affordable place for brides on a budget. For those who wants intimate and vintagee weddings, this is pretty much the best place you could get in town. Because I saved a lot on the venue, I could splurge my budget in hiring our top notch photographers and a live music group. So check the place out, girls. It is a cool place to host your dream wedding. :)

Absolutely beautiful location. I could not have been happier with it. So much nicer then the traditional hotel ballroom. The staff was great as well.

We loved this historic venur for our wedding.It was absolutely beautiful and on top of that way less then we thought it would be! We had a beautiful and well organized event. The only thing is that this is not a venue who will handle everything,so I would hire a planner.

The venue was beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect night. It would take a week to get a response to my emails. The slow response definitely added some unnecessary stress. The rooms were beautiful. The turret room was the perfect bridal suite. The whole venue made my vintage glamour wedding the best.

I switched my wedding here from Leu Gardens/Farmers Market 3 months out, it was scary but I loved the "package" aspect as in my vendors were pre selected, and everyone had already worked with the Courtyard before. Angie was very good with answering all my questions, they were very accommodating for us to start decorating early. It was great that we went straight upstairs afterwords, and my wedding party hung out on the porch upstairs and we ate the left over catering :). It was amazing and guest were surprised to see a beautiful garden in the middle of downtown Orlando. We planned an amazing wedding here for <10,000$, we spring for the liquor call brands, and valet which I recommend because parking can be confusing. Guest loved it and it was really beautiful.

This is a magical venue! Angie is great and easy to work with. Everything was flawless and beautiful! The venders work well with management and all goes very smoothly. I had numerous complements regarding the beauty of the venue.
