Christin Sent on 09/30/2015I worked with Lei at Bridal Loft for my Bridal Gown Alterations based on the recommendation from Charlotte's Bridal where I purchased my gown. Lei was a treat to work with. She didn't waste my time and did the work required so that my dress fit like a dream. She worked with me to find convenient times for fittings so that I could fit it into my busy schedule. It's not easy to trust someone with an expensive, all lace, wedding gown, but Lei is more than competent at what she does. I couldn't have been happier with my experience with Lei and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of alteration services. -
User1626498 Sent on 05/20/2014Andrea pressed and steamed my wedding dress--I had to take it on the airplane and it was quite wrinkled when I arrived in Portland. But, Andrea had it wrinkle free and looking great right on time. She even took a few stains out of the hem for me and fixed a small, but noticeable wrinkle in the lining of the dress near the bust, all at no additional cost! She was very friendly and polite. The studio was cute, clean, and organized. She had the dress hanging up for me to see before she packaged it up, which I thought was a nice touch. She also had a special way she folded and then pinned the skirt and train to keep it from re-wrinkling when I took it to the wedding venue. I was very pleased with my experience. -

User1201669 Sent on 06/15/2013The women at Bridal Loft were a lot a fun to work with and did a great job with my dress. I had the body taken in, the length shortened, a lace sash added, and cups sewn in. They handled my last minute weight change with ease! Highly recommended!

Amy Sent on 09/09/2014I used The Bridal Loft/Custom Fit 2 You for my bridal alterations. I was fortunate enough that my wedding dress didn't need any other alterations other than a bustle. I still wanted to find someone that other people recommended though; after all, I didn't just want anyone to put pins and needles into my beloved gown. Leialoha Kaula was who I emailed back and forth with my many questions and she was very helpful. She explained the different types of bustles and which she thought were possible for my dress. I ended up getting a French bustle with hooks; something simple and natural looking that didn't fall out during my reception.
The location was a little difficult to find. Even though they have a hand drawn map on their website, I didn't realize it was on the other side of the Standard Dairy Building and there were no signs on MLK that indicated that. After driving back and forth past it a few times, my Matron of Honor and I finally figured it out. Once we were on the correct side of the building, we had to be buzzed into the space, which I liked because the alterations business is upstairs, with no one watching the downstairs area. Once inside, the space was very professional yet serene, offering cubby holes to put your shoes into. Upstairs was a loft, with a small kitchen and table for discussions and a carpeted area with mirrors and accessories for bridal viewing. There was even a room, filled with other dresses, to change in.
The experience was great - Lei was very helpful in making sure to explain exactly how they were going to bustle my dress and made sure my Matron of Honor knew what she'd have to do. Time flew for me, since that was all I needed, and even allowed for my Matron of Honor to consult about alterations on her bridesmaid dress. The best part was their price - the bustle came in under budget, compared to other alterations places I had called and compared them with. Fantastic! -

Tatyana Sent on 04/10/2009They did the alterations to my wedding gown. It was on time and looked wonderfull. I had straps and I think they could of done a better job of fixing them. They kept falling of when I was dancing. Other then that everything was good. They have a very clean business setting and their own parking.
