Style and polish with a smile

We knew Taylor and Hov would be our planners as soon as we met them. So fun, but also completely professional. They helped us clarify our vision for the wedding, and then brought it to life better than we could have dreamed of. They expertly handled any issues that arose the day of, and we received so many compliments from friends as to the amazing style and smooth execution of everything! A+++, will totally plan to use them again for other big events.

Working with Taylor and Hov was the best decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. I hired them for full wedding planning, and not only did they ease any wedding planning stress I could possibly have, but they handled everything behind the scenes beautifully. They quickly responded to all vendors, researched everything for me, helped create a beautiful design and made everything FUN. If there were any issues at the wedding, they were dealt with swiftly and gracefully, so that we weren't even aware of them! I didn't worry about a single thing on my wedding day. My guests still say that my wedding was the best wedding they've ever attended, and I owe that to Taylor and Hov. These ladies are professional, creative and organized and you will not regret working with them! Thank you so much!

My daughter and I choose Taylor and Hov to plan her wedding including help with vendors, reception and ceremony design, and all floral arrangements. Sugar , Nar, and their team were wonderful. They listened to what my daughter wanted and made her wedding dreams come true. So many of our guests told me that this was the most beautiful and fun wedding they had ever attended. I would recommend them for any event planning and would use them again in the future.

I don't know if there are adequate enough words to express everything the team at Taylor & Hov team did for us. They took some vague ideas I had about design and made the most beautiful wedding, complete with the quirky accents that make my husband and I who we are. I worked with them for over a year in a truly collaborative relationship. They helped me find vendors that I loved and coordinated everything the day of so well, I didn't have to worry about anything. While we still brought a lot to the table for this wedding, they made it an event that will truly be remembered for a lifetime. Thank you Sugar, Nar, Elena, and Anna for everything!

Sugar & Nar were absolutely wonderful in helping make our day beautiful and run smoothly. Not only are they both incredibly sweet, but they definitely know what they're doing! We initially hired the team for month of coordination, but I ended up also having Sugar design some print items including our invitations... which I absolutely LOVED. Our wedding was wonderful - I had zero worries/concerns and was truly able to enjoy the day thanks to Sugar & Nar. You guys rock :)

We had used Taylor & Hov Events for a Day Of Coordinator for our wedding in June. We got engaged in December 2015, so we only had a short 6 months to plan for our wedding. Nar was very helpful in providing us with vendor suggestions and mapping out our schedule and needs throughout those 6 months. She contacted every vendor to confirm arrival times and final details and made sure to notify me immediately if anything seemed off. We did run into some snags the day before the wedding , which Nar took care of effortlessly! The day of, Sugar made sure all of our decorations were prepared beautifully and orchestrated the delivery and set up of the reception vendors. We also had Danielle come in last minute to save the day and handle our ceremony music. Overall, our wedding was beautiful and we could enjoy every minute of it because of the hard work and efforts of the whole team at Taylor & Hov. <3

Taylor and Hov did an amazing job for our April 2016 wedding!! Nar and Sugar were our month of planners as well as florists. Best decision!! We can't thank Nar and Sugar enough for all the hard work and details that were paid attention to for the coordination leading up to the day, the wedding, the flowers, the design. It was just perfect and everything I wanted!! They were highly responsive to me and attentive to all the details that we discussed. They answered every question I had. They took the time always to listen and put into motion the coordination and the floral and design vision I had for my wedding day. My wedding ceremony and reception were in different locations. They set a schedule that made the day flow perfectly from start to finish. When I walked in my wedding reception I was blown away, it was like a dream..the flowers and design were AMAZING!! These ladies are fantastic and truly a joy to work with! Brides to be, hire them as your planners and florists for your wedding!!

Sugar made us the most incredible wedding invitations--all of our guests said they were the most creative invitations that they had ever received. She designed them on beautiful wood veneer and had them laser cut...THEN hand-painted boho flowers on them. HAND-PAINTED! I can't make this stuff up! If you want truly creative invitations, hire Sugar!!

Nar & Sugar ARE LIVE SAVERS!!! [better than the colorful candies ;)] I cannot express enough gratitude and thanks to the whole Taylorandhov team because they not only dealt with me as the bride, but my mother and all the other vendors involved in putting together a 300+ guest traditional Armenian wedding!!! Talk about a CHALLENGE! And of course... they handled it PERFECTLY!

At first they assisted me in finding vendors since i was planning from across the country, and then once i moved and got closer to wedding date they started to assist with calming my nerves and designing and preparing. They dealt with my overbearing mother who had to make sure EVERYTHING was perfect and wanted to do EVERYTHING on a tight budget ;) and without complaining, without attitude, without ever saying no.... they accomplished not only my dream but also my mothers wants and needs!

They decorated the house with flowers and columns and ornate white furniture and draping to make it look spectacular in photos while i got ready. They then prepared the little details at the reception hall that i wanted and couldn't do myself that day. They were there from MORNING to NIGHT like from 9AM to 2AM to make this traditional Armenian wedding in the DC area the BEST yet... and THEY DID IT!! The whole town will not stop talking about our wedding and it wouldn't have gone so smoothly and so perfect without the Taylor and Hov Team!

They have such amazing contacts, great ideas and artistry, so much professionalism, calmness and delivery! I recommend them to everyone and cannot wait to use them for other events in my lifetime and my family members lifetimes! I wish them great success because they deserve it!

You will NOT be sorry if you have TaylorandHov as your team!

Do you have a full time job? Do you want an amazing wedding with all those little Pinterest-perfect details but literally have ZERO idea where to begin and what to do? Do you want to stick to a budget and have someone help find you vendors that fall within those parameters? Do you want to feel like a guest at your own wedding? I have good news. I have JUST FOUND YOUR PERFECT WEDDING PLANNERS!

My husband and I hired Nar and Sugar for "partial planning/designing" after we quickly realized that we didn't want the process of planning our wedding to steer us away from our end goal of actually getting married. So many details! So many decisions! So much that Google can't tell you that a couple of seasoned pros with great relationships can quickly help you sort out. And we were not disappointed. Our wedding team was amazing and everyone worked together to create the most memorable night of our lives. In fact, my only gripe was with our actual venue - which, surprise (!) - was the ONLY vendor I selected before hiring Nar and Sugar (that one's on me...).

Nar and Sugar are not just planners - they are a planning + designing duo. That means Nar takes care of all the details and the organization and timeline of the day while Sugar works with you to execute your creative vision (and boy does she deliver!). Have you watched David Tutera make magic happen on TLC? You know that part when the bride and groom first see the room and are floored? Yup. That happened.

In the 7 months we worked with Nar and Sugar, they helped me pick all of my vendors, they designed my invitations, they delivered a design plan with visuals and with costs broken down so I could easily decide what to keep and what to sacrifice, they coordinated with all of my vendors, they created a detailed timeline, and so much more. And they gave me peace of mind, which when it comes to wedding planning, is priceless.

Nar and Sugar are amazing. I was feeling overwhelmed about how to even start planning a wedding, but Nar put me at ease from the moment I met her. I hired her right away (even before finding a venue or date), and she was an invaluable wedding sherpa throughout the 14 months I worked with her. She set up a detailed budget for us, and then helped us stick to it by recommending phenomenal vendors that fit our needs and budget; negotiated all of our vendor contracts; and handled the million little details that began cropping up as the day drew nearer. And when it came to the creative side, Sugar instinctively got the look we were going for, from her gorgeous, unique invitations to a ceremony and reception that looked and felt warm, natural and glowing.

Each of them would be a treasure on their own -- together, they're just dynamite. And on top of it all, they're genuinely sweet and fun to be around! Seriously, go hire them now before someone else does.

Sugar and Nar were total lifesavers! Both my fiance and I are relatively low-key people, and we did not want an overly extravagant wedding. We were also initially concerned that our minimalist venue (an art gallery with high ceilings and gorgeous wooden floors, but not much else) would look too empty, but once we talked over all of the design elements with Sugar, we felt very comfortable leaving everything in her capable hands. Sugar was able to take our vision of a clean & modern look and bring it to life with such sophistication and style. Everyone at our wedding commented on how classy everything looked. We also worked with Sugar on our Save the Dates and invitations. For both, we must have gone through dozens of revisions and Sugar was happy to work with us each step of the way.

Nar was our day-of-coordinator and I cannot emphasize how seamlessly the entire day went. As a bride, there is nothing more important than having a stress-free wedding day, and that's exactly what Nar was able to provide. When I had last minute questions or requests, Nar was responsive via text messages even though she was running around managing all of our other vendors. The ceremony and reception went off without a hitch as Nar had it planned down to the very last minute, and made sure that everyone stayed on schedule. She also reached out to all of our other vendors during the week leading up to the wedding to make sure that everyone was on the same page. This was especially helpful since we had a couple of vendors who were less communicative.

Overall, Sugar and Nar were two of the most responsive vendors we worked with. They were always available via email and happy to entertain any questions or suggestions we had along the way. Even though we did not utilize their full planning services, Sugar and Nar made sure that we were comfortable with how everything was going the entire time, and even reassured us when other vendors fell short of expectations.

As a wedding band leader, I had the pleasure of working directly with Nar at Taylor and Hov Events for a wonderful wedding in Virginia. She was fantastic! Communication is key between your vendors for a seamless wedding day, and Nar was always responsive and receptive. Every detail was addressed, and her team was 100% on the ball for the big day.

A little last minute rain didn't phase her at all. The ceremony was beautifully designed and staged indoors without hesitation. Last minute requests and changes were a breeze to accommodate thanks to her quick thinking and great attitude.

Nar and Sugar were my day of coordinator and I am so thankful that they were there!!! It was comforting to know that I didn't have to worry about all the little details because I knew they were behind the scenes. I had a lot of DIY items and items that had to be set up around the venue. They did a wonderful job of setting up my DIY items and everything turned out beautiful! Nar and Sugar also handled all of the timing and ensuring things were on time. They ensured that all of my items were packed up at the end of the night, which was great! I really enjoyed working with Nar and Sugar - they were a great team and really made my day special.

Back in May 2013, Brian and I entered a competition hosted by Taylor & Hov called "The Great Bridal Scavenger Hunt". This competition was a scavenger hunt where ten couples competed to win a $50,000 wedding. Taylor & Hov worked together to have their favorite vendors contribute their services. To our shock and surprise, WE WON!

Following our win, Taylor & Hov designed and executed the perfect wedding for us. Not only did it provide us the opportunity to work with some of the best vendors in DC, but Taylor & Hov's creative talents far exceeded our expectations.

When we first started our wedding planning, we had only a vague idea of what we wanted. Despite this, Sugar was able to create an event which really spoke to our personalities. We spoke to her about our mutual love of music, and she found a way to incorporate this into every aspect of the day, with programs made of records and
place settings created out of cassette tapes.

Moreover, during our highest stress moments, Sugar and Nar saved the day with their eagerness to help with both large and small details, from changing the venue at the last minute to putting together a signature cocktail that our guests still won't stop talking about. All in all, Taylor & Hov gave us a better wedding than we could have ever hoped for, and for that we are so grateful! Thanks Sugar and Nar!

I had the pleasure of working with the now "Taylor and Hov" team for my wedding last summer, and although it has taken me more than a year to finally write a review after being prompted, it does not reflect my feeling towards their team.

I hired this company for my invitations, full planning, design and florals, and I was skeptical that it could ALL be great but it WAS. They really went above and beyond, and while Nar tackled a gazillion planning questions from me, Sugar did things like throw in menus I did not even pay for just to make it all perfect. I am not surprised they have added more members to their team because I am sure they are busy.

They did not even get upset when I asked them not to feature or publish my wedding because my husband and I are very private people. But also I know the portfolio is important!

No other planning company in the city does this much for such a great price, and really does it well. I cannot emphasize that enough. Sugar and Nar, sorry it took me so long, but THANK YOU for a more than perfect wedding day. Some things were out of your control but I can honestly say that everything was handled with grace and professionalism, and you cannot matched.

I planned my wedding with the help of Nar at Taylor and Hov. They were extremely helpful in taking my ideas and creating reality to match that vision. Their network of vendors makes it so easy to search, find and interact with people who are perfect for making your perfect event come to life.

Nar is also extremely responsive and her experience negotiating vendor contracts saved us so many headaches and helped keep us at our budget. We could not have done it without the help of Taylor and Hov. Can't say enough about them!!!

Sugar and Nar are amazing! My husband and I are very happy that we found them and booked them! They made everything flow smoothly and supplied the support that we have needed throughout our wedding planning and design.
Nar-- She will keep you on track with your "to-do" list, your budget, schedule, etc. She is also very responsive on emails and phone calls. I've had 2 meetings with her and she has been very helpful! On the day of the wedding she was very helpful, even after having a personal emergency the night before. She was put together and made sure that everything went smoothly! Nar even helped us through a very difficult situation when our wedding photographer (Bruce Best Photography) decided to breach the contract 4 days before our wedding! Nar acted as our (professional and patient) liaison to communicate with Bruce and Amy Best even when they were rude to her. Nar was a serious trooper through that whole ordeal.
Sugar-- She is so creative! Our Save-The-Dates, Wedding Invitations, escort cards, menus, table numbers, favors, flowers, etc turned out AMAZING! It was magical! We have been so blessed by what Sugar created with all of our ideas. Our wedding design was perfect from the stationary to the linens all the way to the flowers! PERFECT!
One of the things that I really appreciate about Sugar and Nar is that they allow us to pitch ideas to them (and they don't take it personal!). They understand that it is YOUR wedding and they will do what they can (within your budget) to make you happy. Also, you can be as hands on in the design process as you want. For example, Sugar and I spent an evening together putting together the "Save-The-Dates" and it was awesome how the product looked once it was finished.

The Taylor and Hov team were simply fantastic! Nar and Sugar jumped onto a fast moving train as we were about 7 months away from our wedding date. They were always available and flexible. Nar was great keeping us on track and acting as a primary point of contact for our vendors. Having Nar as an advocate on our behalf when dealing with vendors made our life so much easier. Sugar's design was spot on even as it evolved during the planning process. They were always there, willing to go over and above. Sugar even delivered our invites. Our wedding day was saved due to their command of the situation. It began to rain just as the guests were being seated and they jumped into action to move everyone into the "plan b" space seamlessly. I hired Taylor and Hov for planning and ultimately flowers. I was very uncertain about whether I should use some of my budget fora planner, thinking I could recruit a friend. But I'm very happy I did. Nar helped coordinate all the details and ensure that everything went smoothly on our wedding day. It was nice not to have to worry about all the minutia involved with planning a large event like that. Sugar designed the flowers and I was thrilled with them! They were exactly what I hoped they would be (and what I had tried to describe). I gave her a budget for flowers and she worked with me to meet that. Sugar was the day of coordinator for my wedding. She was very easy to work with and has a charming disposition. I appreciate EVERYTHING she did that went seen and unseen. She was flexible and had a calming energy. Dealing with a stressed out bride doesn't seem easy at all, so I commend her for being wonderful through my own personal jitters. It was a pleasure working with Taylor&Hov to create the most memorable event of my life thus far. Many people do not think hiring a wedding planner/coordinator is a proper use of funds; however, this was the BEST investment of my entire life. Taylor&Hov arent just event planners but they are your bestest girlfriends, advocators, negotiators, confidants, budget analysis and your personal stylist/shoppers. They always listened,were personable, patient and available. I felt at home from our very first corespondents. What I value the most is how they made my now husband feel apart of the decision making/planning process (although he wasn't). Taylor&Hov worked and met with my team whenever I was not in town and this greatness was all before the wedding... THE WEDDING!! Man, oh man. My wedding was romantic, beautiful and vintage meets rustic glam. I gave them my ideas and budget and from that they produced the most fashion forward visionary desgin which was beyond my wildest dreams and anything that I was even capable of imaging. I spent the entire process in awe of their re-engineering ,creativity juices and how much they wowed me and my very hard to pleased mother. While I was stressing, Taylor&Hov made it all appeared so flawless and effortless. All of my guest thought my wedding was amazing. Yes, it is important for every bride to have their dream wedding; however, it was more satisfying knowing all of your girlfriends were jealous of your wedding. I would hire them again for all and any of my future service needs.

Without a doubt one of our best planning decisions was choosing DIYva Designs to work with us as day-of coordinators instead of trying to delegate it to family members and/or do it ourselves. They did an amazing job setting up, making sure everything was in it's place, coordinating with the venue and other vendors, and keeping us updated throughout the evening and making us feel that everything was taken care of.

Sugar Taylor is such a wonderful person to work with if you are wanting an event to go seamlessless and be thoughtfully put together. Sugar and her team are so talented, and created such a fun, creative and modern design to the wedding I had the privilage of working on her with. Not only did she execute her design flawlessly but was so prompt in answering all my questions and helping all the vendors work together in a cohesive organized way. I cannot stress how important it is to have a planner and designer that is organized and works as a team player to help all the parts come together. She is also fun, lighthearted and a calming force that any couple would be so pleased lto have handle their design and planning needs.

I got married in October 2012. I found Sugar's invites on Etsy (search for sealedshop) while looking for train ticket invitations (I met my husband on a train!) and her design was perfect for what I wanted. Lots of little things that I was able to personalise. As I'm in the UK, I opted for the pdf template so that I could print them off here and put them together, which I thoroughly enjoyed and it made them that little bit more personal. All of my guests commented on how original they were and those that knew our story were even more impressed! Sugar was absolutely brilliant with all of my requests for changes (I did worry I was getting annoying at some point!) but she was always quick to reply and really lovely in all her communication.

Thank you Sugar for being a crucial part to help our big day be as magical as it was!

Sugar and Nar did a wonderful job in assisting me to pull my day together. There are always unforeseen events that occur during the wedding. They work hard to deal with all issues so you can enjoy your day. Sugar has gone above and beyond on multiple occasions. While being professional and within my budget. Being a DIY Bride myself Sugar and I developed awesome design elements for my wedding. She designed my invitations, menus and all the florals for the wedding. Their vendor suggestions were reliable and fairly priced. I know I could not have pulled the day off, remained sane and still enjoyed my day without the help from their team. These women are a joy to work with and I would definitely recommend them to a stranger or a friend!

Oh my goodness!!! We arrived home and received the invitations!!! They are PERFECT!!! I ran to the post office to mail them today and I can't wait to hear from our honored guests!!!! Truly, I thank you so much!!! I know such a small order is hardly worth your time, but your invitation truly sets the table for a perfect 30th anniversary weekend our whole family will enjoy!!!!!! I had a small budget, but I knew stationery/apaper products was going to be important so I set aside a good amount for that. We used Sugar to design and print custom wedding stationery, and I must say I was very impressed with her workmanship. She even sent me some cookies, which I appreciate for the personal touch that they involve in their work. I went through 190343 changes, but she did not mind and worked with me. We received many compliments on our Save the Dates, and Wedding Invitations. Thanks Sugar!!

We used them for our 8.27.11 wedding as well, they had three of them during the hurricane. I was very pleased with the on-site coordinator they sent for my wedding, and the process working with Nar for the details was seamless; she negotiated my catering contract down about $2,000.00. Sugar created our custom invitations, and designed the wedding (because I am not a creative) --she really brought my ideas to life and listened to what I wanted. She also didn't mind 1000 text messages when I freaked out about a thing or two, so I overall had nothing to complain about.

I have truly become friends with these two. They made me feel like I was the absolute center of their universe while they were planning my wedding. Sugar was like my creative overseer in the fact that she let me control my projects but made sure i had guidance and the best materials. Nar negotiated my contracts down from their original amounts so much i nearly cried because we were well over budget until i hired them. I would recommend them based on their professionalism, talent and PERSONALITY.

We had a DIY wedding, where I had a ton of projects that I wanted to do for my wedding. Sugar Bailey and Narine are the perfect duo because while Sugar designed my wedding and handled most of the creative work, Narine made sure every detail was in order. They can bake, paint, and craft your wedding from the ground up its totally amazing.

DIYva Designs was a life saver for my wedding because our previous planner had to cancel on us leaving us with only 3 weeks to pull it all together. They truly saw our vision and made our day so very special. They also got the wedding party involved which made things so much more memorable and customized or wedding according to our taste perfectly. "We used Taylor and Hov for their Design Only Package, after booking the Brunch and Blitz with them, and it was really a good fit for us. I worked with Audrey and Sugar on everything from my custom wood invitations with white foil press, to the florals and overall look because I am NOT a creative. I would say response time was about two days when they got busy, which can feel like a long time, but thats my only almost complaint. I really enjoyed the overall experience, and have recommended them to a few friends, as I feel the value in the fact that they can do so many things well, and I am all about maximizing value."

My husband and I did all of the vendor research and contract signing for our August wedding on our own, but we really wanted someone on the day-of to make the trains run on time and to free up us (and our moms!) to relax and enjoy the day.

Nar from Taylor & Hov was exactly the right person for the job.

For months before the wedding, she consistently helped via email when I had little questions about things like thank you note etiquette and layout suggestions. She put together a detailed timeline for the day of the wedding and worked with all our vendors to make sure everything got where it needed to be at the right time. By the time the day came, I knew exactly how everything would flow -- and I was confident enjoying the day without being glued to a cell phone to monitor the details.

(Her partner Sugar was also great in responding to some design-related questions I had as well, although I worked less with her than with Nar because a family member did all our creative work.)

But what made the Taylor and Hov team stand out the most was their willingness to help out with the odd jobs that we simply didn't have the bandwidth to worry about. Pick up our unconventional cake from a vendor that couldn't do delivery? No problem. Put together food-related favors on the night of? Sure! Store a bunch of stuff from the wedding for two weeks while we traipsed off on our honeymoon? Easy. They went above and beyond to make sure that no last minute details caused us stress in the days leading up to the wedding -- or the day after. Definitely money well spent -- our moms (and my blood pressure) thank you!

Taylor and Hov Events (formerly DIYVA Designs, LLC) were phenomenal! We worked with Sugar and Nar for over a year planning and designing our wedding. Their creativity and responsiveness were stellar. They worked on every aspect of our planning from venue, to save-the-date and invitation design, to vendor recommendations, to event design, to vendor accountability and more. They met with us in person and virtually on too many occasions to count. Sugar even helped us stuff our invitations! Rebecca and I had a vision of what we wanted for the design of our wedding. Sugar worked with us in making sure our dream became a reality. Our wedding day was perfect! We wouldn't have had the wedding we dreamed of without Taylor & Hov Events!

I'm not a very creative type of person so I am so glad I hired Taylor & Hov to do my flowers, stationary, and decorations. I'm not a fan of flowers, but my bouquet was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Probably the best bouquet I've ever seen, lol. My decor was perfect. I wanted a combination of laid back, but classy, and they nailed it. They really know what they're doing! Throughout the whole process, I said "just do whatever you think looks cute." That's how much I trusted their skills. Also, please please please use them for referrals. Every referral they recommended provided spectacular and quality service.

I expected to use Diyva Designs for partial planning after meeting with their team I expanded my working relationship with them. Sugar and Nar were accessible at every turn. It was a great value because Sugar helped me take my selected my colors, flowers and location and turn my wedding day into my dream come true.

Out of all the wedding vendors I hired, Taylor & Hov is the one I regret the most. We hired them for both planning and design work, and both were fraught with problems from the beginning. While the design work ultimately was beautiful, the planning work - headed up by Elena Moisa - was completely screwed up at every point of the process and made me MORE stressed out heading into my wedding than I would have been otherwise. For example: 1. Elena screwed up the hotel room blocks. Instead of setting them up under "the Gill/Walsh wedding," as is typical, she booked it as "Taylor & Hov Event," which makes no sense. Why would a guest ask for that when booking a room? When our guests tried to make reservations, they were told no such wedding existed. This was the first of many things I had to call and straighten out. 2. Planning was a joke. Elena would email me suggestions for vendors, but most of the time they were vendors I had already read about online. I kept thinking, "We paid you about $5,000 to read Wedding Wire for us. This isn't worth it." 3. The month leading up to my wedding was a disaster. Elena does NOT read the contracts, a HUGE deficiency on her part. You NEED a wedding planner who reads contracts and solves the problems therein. There were several vendors who required special things and since Elena did not read any of the contracts, she was completely unaware of them. Had we not been on top of it, we would have been in breach of the contracts and the vendors would have been within their legal rights to walk away. 4. Elena sent me a wedding day timeline that was NOT IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER. 5. Elena spent our wedding day in panic. We're just lucky Sugar was also there because she took care of things. Load out was a mess, with Elena making repeated panicked phone calls to my mother. She also threw away all of our menus/programs without asking if we wanted to keep any. 6. Many other things, but I'm out of space. Bottom line, I would not hire this company.

When I originally met with this Taylor and Hov I thought they would be a great fit to serve as my wedding designer, but I was truly wrong and disappointed. When I started to work with them, they were responsive, but as time went by that became less and less the case. It would take days before they responded back via email on simple questions. Every time I asked for an update it felt like I was pulling teeth. I worked with them to come up with the wedding design from Save the Dates to the venue decorations. Once I received a cost breakdown, I noticed the prices were extremely high compared to what I had researched. My Save the Dates alone cost $600. Also, I kept stressing the fact that I had a tight timeline I would like to follow, because my now husband and I were moving as we got closer to the wedding date. It took nearly 5 months just for me to receive my Save the Dates. The last straw was when I was quoted one price for my invitations and when it came time to send them to production the price nearly doubled, because of a miscomunication between the designer and the production company. At no point did the designer try to compensate me for the inconvenience. When I emailed and said I was truly unhappy with their services she gave me a poor reason behind why. If I could post the email I sent and her response back to me so that others can see exactly what I am talking about. I ended up finding another wedding designer midway who provided me everything I asked for and more at a fraction of the cost of what I was quoted by this company. With this as the only exception, all my other vendors were truly amazing and you can see that by the reviews I posted for them on WeddingWire (This is truly the only negative review I posted).
