Best planner ever!!

Part of the reason we are so sad our wedding is over is that we won’t get to work with Emilee and her team anymore. Emilee allowed us to work at our own pace throughout the entire process while keeping us on track the entire time. She understood exactly what we wanted and was consistently there for us, whether it was helping us go back and forth on linens, advice to handle family issues, or outside the box problem solving, she really is a pro (and just generally a warm and enjoyable person!)

We had issues with our venue’s staff and Emilee handled it all so well. During the actual event her and her team handled a million things that we had absolutely no idea about. The whole Tasteful Tatters team flipped a switch as soon as the weekend arrived and went into full business mode. It was awesome. People can’t stop talking about our wedding and we owe it all to how flawlessly the team executed the event (also shout out Rachel for tracking down my phone somewhere in the hotel after I lost it during pictures lol.) This is a team experienced in problem solving and executing. We could not recommend working with Emilee and Tasteful Tatters enough. We have so many friends who either weren’t happy with their planner’s work or didn’t enjoy them as people. You won’t have to worry about that with Tasteful Tatters. Book them now!

The best wedding planner money can buy

Having Emilee on board is the best decision you can make for your wedding. She helped us plan a 2-day wedding, the first day being a Hindu Indian-style wedding, and the second day being a Western-style wedding.

Working with Emilee is like getting a 2-for-1 package. Before the wedding, Emilee brings her supportive personality, years of experience, and deep knowledge of weddings to the table. She knows all the vendors, and makes excellent recommendations, and is the sweetest person. Then, on the day of the wedding, she is full-blown, no-nonsense professional, with us (the bride and groom) as her priority. No matter what happens on the wedding day, her number priority was making sure we had the best experience possible.

Our wedding guests told us it was one of the best weddings they had been to, and we have Emilee to thank for that.

My jaw is still on the floor! Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant!

Let. Me. Tell. You. We felt like passenger princesses throughout the entire process of wedding planning, wedding day, and even after. Tasteful Tatters thought of everything, prepared for everything, handled everything. I am so impressed. It started raining an hour before our outdoor ceremony... within that hour, Emilee and her team moved the ceremony indoors, set up immaculately, redirected all guests so not one was lost, and kept the vibes perfect. I even forgot to print my vows as we were walking out of the suite down to the ceremony... Not a problem. It was taken care of.

I am very type A, especially with planning and Tasteful Tatters and this team allowed me to turn off my control freak and actually be present and enjoy. They handled contracts, negotiations, vendor communications, design, dude, everything. And let me be as involved as I wanted.

Emilee and her team have brilliant talent with wedding coordination and so much insight into the wedding world. We are so incredibly grateful.

Genuinely jealous, and of course happy for, anyone who gets to work with this team.

A Content Creator’s Dream: Tasteful Tatters is the Real Deal

As a wedding content creator, working with Emilee was a dream. Throughout the day, I saw her addressing and anticipating the couple’s needs, which in turn created a seamless environment for me, along with the entire media team, to be present and creative.

Emilee and her team’s attitude helped everyone feel at ease, and dare I say chill, despite having a very full and fun wedding day. Not to mention, they were masters at keeping everyone on schedule with a calm and collected demeanor.

What truly stood out was her role as a creative collaborative partner with all wedding vendors. Before the wedding, it was clear that she was open to input to ensure a gorgeous wedding day. I remember hopping on a call before the wedding to talk through content strategy, and leaving with the impression that she trusted all the wedding vendors to give their best to the client. A Perfect Day

We had a wonderful experience working with Emilee and her team at Tasteful Tatters! From start to finish, Emilee was professional, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making our day unforgettable. She has a calming presence, a sharp eye for detail, and a deep understanding of how to keep things flowing smoothly without ever making it feel rushed or chaotic.

Her guidance throughout the planning process was invaluable—she anticipated needs we didn’t even know we had and offered solutions before problems could arise. On the day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch!

Tasteful Tatters Made My Wedding Happen!

It was 3 months before the wedding and we were in serious trouble. We were doing the wedding all on our own, and no one knew how to plan a party this big. We were missing vendors, having trouble communicating with the ones we did have, and all the things we did not know was really weighing on us. We were almost going to scrap everything and start over. So we decided to get the help of a professional coordinator.

Tasteful Tatters saved us. Working with Emilee was the best decision we ever made, and it made our wedding happen! So is so professional and organized, she is there for you whenever you need her, she has connections we could have never found, and she made sure details were taken care of that we would have never thought of on our own. Our hairstylist cancelled last minute, and she was able to find a replacement in a day. She made sure I knew exactly what was going on when (I hate surprises), organized all of the vendors so I wasn't swamped with emails, and on the day of the wedding we didn't have to worry about a single thing. She freed up our minds and let us focus on making our wedding as special as we dreamed it would be. THANK YOU!

Emilee and her team are AMAZING!!!

I didn't think I needed a wedding coordinator, but my venue required one and boy am I glad they did. They recommended Emilee and her team and they were nothing short of a God send during the wedding planning process. I could not have done it without them! They helped my fiance and I have the wedding of our dreams within our budget. They solved every problem I had along the way in a timely manner and were so patient with my never ending questions. Even if you 're a type A bride with everything planned and pulled together (like me) I promise you'll still want to spend the money on a great wedding coordinator and I highly recommend you choose tasteful tatters.

Best Planner Ever

Working with Emilee and her Tasteful Tatters team was the best decision we’ve ever made. From start to finish, Emilee was incredible. My husband and I are not natural wedding planners, and we only had a vague idea of our vision, but we were hosting a large wedding with lots of moving parts and competing interests. Emilee designed and implemented the perfect wedding weekend and made our lives exponentially better throughout the whole process.

Planning: She is SO organized, creative, detail-oriented, a logistics superhuman, and also incredibly level-headed and fun to work with. She calmed us down during every meeting and helped us triage the endless moving pieces. My husband always felt 1,000 times calmer and happier after our calls with Emilee because we knew we were in such good hands. She was excellent at helping us prioritize and recognize what mattered to us and our families and letting go of what didn’t. Finally, she never once upsold us, and went through great lengths to only introduce us to (excellent) vendors who could enact our vision (once Emilee helped us find it) in our budget. She was honest about what was a waste of money and what was worth the extra cost.

Wedding Weekend: There aren’t words to describe how incredible Emilee and her team were on our wedding weekend, but in short, they put on a flawlessly organized weekend of events under insane circumstances. We hosted two days of outdoor events with 160 and 215 guests in Southern California, with no suitable indoor locations, and the weather suddenly shifted from record heat wave to unexpected torrential rain. Emilee worked tirelessly to find every back-up plan possible and both days were perfect only because of her. She ran the tightest ship and made sure my husband and I had the best wedding and didn’t have to worry about anything. My dad is an army veteran and described her as the most organized person he’s ever met. Throughout all the weather chaos, Emilee and her team were unfazed, didn’t stress anyone out, and made sure we had the best time.

We can’t recommend Emilee and Tasteful Tatters highly enough!

Working for a catering company, you work with many planners and vendors and I ALWAYS look forward to working with Emilee. She is organized, responsive and on-top of all of the details. Best decision we made for our wedding!

Choosing Emilee to be our wedding coordinator for our May 2018 wedding was the best decision we made (other than to marry each other)! We wanted to get married at the Center for the Arts in Eagle Rock and we knew we needed a coordinator since we aren't very good at planning and the venue doesn't come with any vendors. We interviewed a couple coordinators but Emilee stood out as enthusiastic, organized, encouraging, and just simply wonderful. She was with us every step of the way, including helping us choose our wedding palette (she even taught me how to use Pinterest), giving us advice for how to make decisions, recommending her trusted vendors that were within our budget, and even indirectly helped us write our vows since we listened to her podcast (Wedding Therapy) and she did a fabulous episode on vows. On the day of, she was even better than she was during our planning process (which was sort of unbelievable) and she was like our cheerleader, mom, friend, and magical fairy. When she visited me in the morning while I was getting ready, I was so touched and I kind of got sad that it would be our last day working with her. She made our wedding MAGICAL and we'll always remember her when we think about our day. It's been 7 months and our family and friends still talk about how amazing Emilee was, and we wholeheartedly agree.

The Best Wedding Planner!

Where do we begin in reviewing how incredible Emilee is?

Let us start by saying we live in New York, our wedding was in Mexico, and Emilee lives in LA. The distance didn’t matter one bit. From the moment we reached out to Emilee just over a year before our wedding date, we felt an instant connection. She made us feel supported and at ease, and we knew from the beginning we were lucky to have her.

Emilee helped us every step of the way from phone check-ins to keep us on track with our to-do list to communicating with vendors to putting together welcome bags by hand (she literally ironed logos onto the bags!). The amount of detail and care Emilee puts into everything she does is truly remarkable. Throughout the whole wedding planning process, we never felt overly stressed, not just because we knew Emilee was a work horse who would get things done, but we came to trust her so much as she picked up on our vibe as a couple and seemed to intuitively know what we wanted for our wedding and for our guests.

And during our wedding weekend, what else can we say? She was amazing! She personally carried an extra suitcase to Mexico full of welcome bag items, table setting decorations, and maracas for our guests. She checked in with us in the days leading up to our wedding but was never overbearing. She walked us through everything at our rehearsal dinner and made herself available whenever we needed her.

On the day of the wedding, she was behind the scenes making sure everything went according to plan coordinating with vendors, the venue staff, our photographer, the musicians, and our bridal party. And even with the few things that didn’t go exactly to plan, she communicated and advised us in just the right way to make everything go smoothly. It was clear that Emilee makes it her duty to make sure we as the couple didn’t have to do anything other than enjoy the moment.

By the end of the experience, we mutually agreed that Emilee was the best decision we made for our wedding. So many of our guests told us it was best wedding they had ever attended, and even though we might be biased, we felt the same we. We don’t normally post long, glowing reviews like this, so if you have any doubts about reaching out to Emilee, trust us when we say, “Don’t hesitate! She’s the best!” We would recommend her to anyone! You won’t regret it!

Work with Emiliee if you can!

In short: book Emiliee. You wont regret it.
For some length....
I booked Emiliee as a month of coordinator over a year before my wedding day. She was available prior to (joined site visits, replied to my annoying decoration questions), and then 30 days before she was ON IT! She held my hand through the last minute details, was on top of the vendor coordination, and basically became my part time therapist.

She's calm and collected and will empathize with your issues, because she's seen and dealt with it all!

The day of she was an absolute ROCKSTAR. While I loved my venue, it had some quirks that weren't exactly my style. She TOTALLY got my vision, and her team did everything to make that happen day-of. She helped me transform the venue to be exactly what I wanted, and dealt with some tricky vendors with a smile. I was in the best hands and am so grateful!

So yes, book her. She'll help you realize your dream wedding and she might even save you a few hundred dollars in therapy!

Emilee did an amazing job coordinating our wedding. She was considerate of every detail and did everything possible to make our wedding the best it could possibly be. She is very reliable and trustworthy for your special day.
She did a great job making a daily schedule, keeping up with our desired style, and communicating with us despite the craziness that she was experiencing in her own life. Being a life-long procrastinator, I waited until four months out (with no venue booked or anything else for that matter) to contact Emilee at Tasteful Tatters. I thought I could handle putting together a 'small' (about 130 people) wedding myself in my spare time, but nothing and no one will prepare you for the mountain of decisions you need to make about anything and everything wedding-related. I'm not one of those people that particularly enjoys making decisions and my need for people-pleasing was paralyzing. Enter Emilee - she is a god send! She helped me keep my cool during this process and perfectly executed the vision and vibe I had for my wedding. When the timeline was going off-the-rails the day-of (we were about an hour off, if not more!) she kept her cool and miraculously got us back on track! I can't sing my praises enough for Emilee and her staff - I highly recommend Tasteful Tatters as your wedding planning team!

Wow. We don’t even know where to start. We can’t imagine a better wedding planner on the planet than Emilee and her team. Every crazy idea that we dreamed up she went above and beyond to make a reality. She kept us so organized before the wedding that the lead up was totally free of all the usual stresses couples feel so we could just concentrate on the fun of the event. She strikes the perfect balance of positivity and professionalism, so you always feel both enthusiastic about the event and confident in her abilities to make it perfect. This was hands down THE BEST money we’ve ever spent. We could not feel more thankful to have had Emilee by our side for the best day of our life.

I don't even know where to start with Emilee and the Tasteful Tatters team. They are so talented at what they do and made our wedding a dream come true. Emilee took all my crazy ideas and brought them to life with minimal effort on my end. Her experience helped guide me when my ideas would not allow the wedding to flow correctly, she gave the best feedback. Her communication what perfect enough but not too much where it added extra work on our end.

On the day she was present and flexible but also very structured and direct with vendors and doing what needed to be done. There was no point where she wasn't all over everything happening at all the events. Em went beyond our expectations and the wedding would not have been even close to how amazing as it was without her. If you want to enjoy your wedding, go with this girl!

OMG. I don't even know where to begin with this review because there are about a million amazing things to say about Emilee. Emilee planned our dream wedding and did it with the utmost professionalism and bad-assery. She did not let one detail of our day go unnoticed - I'm not exaggerating when I say she thought of EVERYTHING (design, timeline, pictures, little extras, etc). I threw Emilee a bit of a curveball when I asked her to plan my destination wedding and then proceeded to be one of the most annoyingly unhelpful brides. I knew I wanted something "fun" and "pretty" yet "classic" but gave little to no help from there. Somehow with all of the vague feedback I gave, Em always found a way to come up with exactly what I wanted. She was fantastic at providing suggestions/ideas/etc. & honestly just has a knack for design & creativity. My family fell in love with Emilee at the wedding & hasn't stopped raving about her since our wedding (2 months ago!). Not only was Em on top of everything on the wedding day, but she was incredible to work with during the planning/design process. My (now) husband was totally on the "we don't need a wedding planner" train & Emilee had him eating his words by the time our wedding was over. He is now strongly encouraging our friends planning weddings to hire Emilee! I'd highly recommend Emilee to anyone looking for a phenomenal, hilarious, professional & creative wedding planner! Best money I spent during my entire wedding planning process!

I always hear nightmare stories when brides don't hire a day-of planner so this was the first vendor I searched for in my wedding planning. Emilee is great to work with and understood my vision of the day! I was so relaxed the entire day since she took care of all the details and random guest appearances also. She was the best month-of planner I could have asked for!

Emilee is the best!!!!!!!!!!!! My now husband and I can't say enough good things about Emilee and her team!!! She was so helpful with everything every step of the way! I did her month of package but she was always available to talk and help me with anything I needed even before that! She emails and texts back right away no matter the day or time. I had so many freak outs and she was always there for me to calm me and listen to me vent which ofcourse she didn't have to do but did because that is the kind of sweet person she is! Nothing stresses her out because she can truly handle any situation that comes up. She did a truly excellent job with everything for my wedding, paid perfect attention to detail, and everything went perfectly!! Definitely recommend!!!!!!

Before I started planning our wedding, I knew I definitely needed and wanted to hire a coordinator. I wanted someone to help with day of coordination as well as provide feedback & opinions on decoration, vendors, etc. I researched a few coordinators and spoke with a few on the phone, they were nice but out of my price range. I found Emily on Thumbtack and was very impressed when I went to her website and social channels. You could tell she is very professional and maintains a quality brand in her business. What really sold me was when I spoke to her on the phone and she explained and was very honest with me that I only needed the day of coordination and not the design as well. She let me know that I was already on top of most things and that we could add on if there were any additional services that I needed her to do. I found this to be a telling sign of her because she could have easily had me bring her on for the higher package without explaining to me what I would actually be getting.

She delivered on her promise of being very responsive and was an amazing sounding board throughout my wedding planning process. Many of the ideas she provided us, we ended up going with. Her energy was amazing as well and always made us feel like our wedding was a top priority and that everything was going to be fantastic! Emilee was just what we needed to help make our wedding smooth and easy! Originally, my husband wasn't convinced with hiring a wedding planner. Knowing how crafty and organized I am, he figured I could handle it without spending the extra money. However, after seeing how HELPFUL Emilee was with preparing for the big day, as well as on the day of the wedding, my husband is now convinced Emilee is doing what she was born to do! Even guests were commenting on how "on it" Emilee was. During the planning process, Emilee helped us with details that we would have never even considered, but sure glad we did in hindsight. For example, her experience with how to make the day run smooth, how to get the best pictures, and how to utilize the time most efficiently would have never crossed our minds, but ended up making a huge difference in the quality of the day! On the wedding day itself, as the bride and groom, we were not worried about any detail -- and that we attribute to Emilee! I would hire Emilee and her team 100 times over!

Emilee took every concern I had throughout our entire year of working together and made me feel totally confidant in our big day. Even day of, with the typical upsets and mistakes that come with a huge party, I as the bride was blissfully unaware of anything that perhaps wasn't going according to plan. Emilee and her team truly put on an amazing event for us. Emilee was always available to meet or chat, and had great feedback and suggestions for me. She understood and worked hard to make sure the coming together of several divorced families for the first time was seemless and easynfor my husband and I. I can't tell you how helpful Emilee and her team was. They went above and beyond! We needed recommendations for DJ, florist, photobooth, videographer, rentals and she had it all!! Everyone she recommended was AMAZING! We ran into SEVERAL hiccups with the venue coordinator. If it wasn't for Emilee I think we would have probably canceled the wedding at the venue. If you have a venue coordinator and think you won't really need your own coordinator, trust me, you do! She's a lifesaver. Our wedding is over and I still keep in contact with her because she's just that amazing!

Emilee and her team were absolutely AMAZING and more than I could have ever asked for!! At first I was sure if I even needed a coordinator because I am an extreme planner/organized person myself but I now know there is no way I could have pulled this wedding off without Emilee. I was so impressed with all of her organizational tools such as a spreadsheet we created to list decor items and who was dropping off/taking home (which made getting all my pretty things home after the wedding go flawlessly by the way) to sending me extremely helpful checklists along the way to be sure things had been taken care of. I never realized how many minute details are involved in the wedding planning process and I am so thankful I had Emilee by my side along the way. All of my friends said they were so impressed/surprised at how calm I was leading up to my big day and even on it and I told them all it truly was because I had an amazing coordinator and I knew the day was going to go by perfectly because of her and it did! Emilee also has amazing communication and responded to every little question I had leading up to the big day within a matter of minutes which was greatly appreciated by bit of an anxious bride like me. I cannot sing Emilee and the tasteful tatters team's praises high enough. If you are looking to have a flawless wedding call Emilee now!

Emilee is the type of wedding planner for anyone who wants an organized, polished, and beautiful production as a wedding. I, myself being a less fussy demanding(*choosy) bride wanted my planner to take the reigns and do what they do best. She exceeded any of my expectations by miles and was the kind of support and counsel that I needed so desperately at different times. The level of creativity, cost cutting, team oriented nature, are just portions of her secrets to success in what she does. I felt so calm and at ease on my wedding day that several people asked me why I was so calm. I said, I'm chilling, Emilee has this. And she nailed it. There isn't enough characters for me to divulge the details of what was an incredible and unforgettable day. Emilee, you're a rockstar!

Because of Emilee and her team, we were both able to actually enjoy our wedding since we knew we were in such good hands. We knew Emilee was the one from our first meeting -- she was down to earth, friendly, and very clearly an expert on the crazy wedding business that we knew nothing about. I don't have words to describe Emilee and her team at Tasteful Tatters! Having a destination wedding planned, my fiance and I needed to hire someone we could trust and understand our vision for the event (being meeting planners ourselves, we were very specific on everything we wanted). We sat down with Emilee in LA and it was truly meant to be. We felt extremely comfortable and decided to hire her on the spot! The next 6 months were super easy and great communication throughout. Our wedding was everything we imagined and more. It was exactly "us" and Emilee and her team handled vendor communication and schedules precisely and on time. Ever heard of a wedding having no issues, no drama and absolutely no worries? Yeah, sounds like an unicorn riding a rainbow, but it happened to us thanks to this wonderful team. You can not make a better selection than Emilee and her team. They are on point, responsive, creative and think of things you never would have. She made my wedding stress free and amazing. It was perfect!
We found her based on a photo shoot she styled and met her for brunch in Los Angeles and we were hooked. She is organized, has great energy,and was so quick when we had a question. She walked along side us through the whole process and helped us with vendors since we are from out of town. She goes above and beyond and I wish we could get married again just to keep working with her.

Words cannot describe just how amazing and helpful Emilee and her team were. Not just on the day of, but in the months up to the wedding...she was there every step of the way to help us with decisions, planning, finding vendors, diy projects, and everything in between. People say you don't enjoy your own wedding day, but my husband and I fully enjoyed every moment of our day because Emilee and her team had everything taken care. Emilee and her team were beyond helpful. We hired her for day of coordination, as I had a pretty clear vision of what I wanted so I didn't need a full-service wedding planner. However, she helped with so much more than on just the day. My husband and I don't have family in LA and had never thrown an event here and Tasteful Tatters was there to guide us through the whole process. Every time I had a question or issue with a vendor, there was Emilee, helping to explain and ease the stress. extremely easy to work with! we met with a couple day of wedding coodinators, and Emilee was definitely the most easy going and relaxed one in my area! Emily is exactly the type of person you want on your side on your big day: kind, organized and incredibly efficient . She is extremely organized, managed everything, and did a great job keeping to the timeline, which let us enjoy the wedding without worrying about anything. Emilee did such an amazing job for our wedding. She honestly saved the day. We initially hired another coordinator who really dropped the ball on a few things and even insulted another one of our vendors. We ended up firing the coordinator 2 months before the wedding. Luckily, one of our vendors recommended Emilee and the Tasteful Tatters team and they immediately made us wish we hired them from the very beginning. Not only was Emilee professional, personable and honest, but she really took the stress away from planning and made the whole experience enjoyable and unique. It's only been two months since the wedding, but our guests are still asking us about Emilee since she did such an amazing job. We couldn't have imagined doing our wedding without her and her crew. Emilee even got us the best videographer two weeks before the wedding. We cannot say enough great things about her!

Before I start, if you are considering hiring Tasteful Tatters, just do it! You will not regret it.
Emilee and her team went above and beyond to make my dream wedding a reality. There was never a moment that I felt like I was not her first priority, even though there were other weddings that they were planning during the same time. Emilee was easy to communicate with. She was quick to respond and a joy to be around. She loves her job and that manifests itself in everything she does. All of my friends bet that I would be that one bride that we all dread being, the stressed bridezilla, but I wasn't! I truly believe that was due to Emilee! I am a very detailed person, and she heard all of my requests and completed them exactly how I wanted. I was actually the least stressed bride that most of my vendors had ever seen! Emilee and her team met with me many times in person to review plans. This is the personal touch that every great company provides its clients; one that makes the clients feel like they are old friends. I truly did not feel like I was working with a business to plan my wedding, but rather that I was planning with a group of long-lost friends. Emilee's suggestions were great! She truly listens to what you want and like, then finds places that work for your taste. They day of the wedding was perfect. Emilee and her team and absolutely INCREDIBLE. We hired her for the "month of " planning package and it was one of the best decisions we made throughout the whole process. The 4 weeks leading up to your wedding are extremely stressful with last minute things and Emilee was on top of every detail. We were so grateful to have had the Tasteful Tatters team help design and coordinate our wedding! There are so many details that go into planning and executing the wedding celebration, and we couldn't have done it without their professional and creative efforts. Though it can feel hard not to be in control of every little detail of the wedding, hiring a team you can trust actually helps you to build the wedding you have in mind, and have time for some of the things you do want to take on. Leaving so many details and day-of coordination in the hands of the team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! It allowed me and my husband to actually enjoy more time with family and friends (as they started arriving, and on the day of), and not have to worry about decorating the tables or telling the caterers where to put the food the morning of the wedding. Our goal was to be able to celebrate and soak in the joy of the day, and we were able to do just that because of the help from the team. I worked with Emilee to build ideas for centerpieces and overall decor for the venue (through Pinterest boards, etc), and she responded quickly to emails or any questions and concerns I had. She and her team helped bring to life so many ideas I had in mind, and it was wonderful seeing it all come together beautifully. They also worked hard to make sure things ran smoothly the day of, communicating with vendors and guests, and took care of handling any questions or hiccups if they came up (so that I was able to enjoy the day). My husband and I are so incredibly grateful for the TT team as we reflect upon our wedding day, and we would highly recommend Emilee and the team to anyone who is in need of wedding/event design and coordination!

Emilee and her assistant did a great job of making sure that everything came together without us having to worry about problems as they actually happened. When issues did come up, she handled them behind the scenes so that we didn't need to focus on any of the minutiae and could just relax and enjoy our wedding. She did an especially good job of dealing professionally with the manager of our venue, who was being extremely difficult and rude to our vendors during the reception. We'd be happy to recommend her to anyone else.

I can't thank Emilee enough for everything she did for our wedding. We hired her a full year before our actual wedding date and she helped with EVERYTHING down to the outfits we wore for our engagement shoot, picking out the rest of our vendors, any and all decor, and even day-of coordination. She really took the pressure off my husband and I and made the wedding-planning process much less stressful. And even on the day of the wedding, when things didn't go as planned (like they always do), she took care of everything. Any time I had questions, she made it a point to get back to me quickly. Even if she didn't have an answer right away, she made sure to find the answer for me. I don't know what I would have done without her. She was exactly what I needed. I would hire her again in a second!

If you want someone that cares about your wedding the way that you care about it, then hire Emilee. I had numerous hiccups but Emilee was always on top of all of it and in the end she made my day as amazing as it was in my head leading up to it. Emilee is awsome!! From our initial first meeting to our wedding day. She is quick to respond to emails, texts and phone calls. She genuinely loves what she does, the day of our wedding she went above and beyond making sure everything ran smoothly, always making sure we were doing ok. Emilee was everything and more that I could have asked for in an event planner! She always gave me piece of mind regarding every facet of the planning process. Not only was she incredibly quick to respond to all of my emails/texts, she was also very eager to help me come up with décor ideas, and craft right along side me. She was also very organized (which I love!) and she made the day flow so smoothly. It all went off without a hitch, and I know for a fact that I couldn't have done it without her! Emilee is exactly the fun, enthusiastic, but organized and firm kind of gal you want running your wedding!

I'm a planner and organizer by trade, and finding someone I could trust to take the reins of my wedding was not an easy feat! When Emilee and I were re-introduced at a friends wedding, I knew I had found my match. We clicked instantaneously!

We opted for Emilee's "month of" coordinating package, as we had many of the details down by the time she came on board. Throughout the rest of the process (much longer than a month!) she was incredibly supportive, came up with great ideas and suggestions, and knew when to tell me to quit being an AD and be a bride.

If Emilee is great at planning, she's AMAZING the day of. She navigated problematic vendors and difficult guests with ease, and took on all of my crazy hair brained schemes with enthusiasm. She kept me informed on what was going on just enough that I knew what was being handled, without having to do it myself.

Emilee is a fantastic coordinator and a beautifully skilled designer, I can only hope all my girlfriends use her for their weddings so I can work with her again!

Emilee was a great help to our wedding. She is fun but also professional. Really easy to talk to and is helpful with ideas.
We used her as a "month of" wedding coordinator and she helped take a lot of the stress off during the final weeks and especially the day of. I felt very comfortable leaving everything in her hands. She scheduled and confirmed with all our vendors and I felt like everything ran smoothly. She even helped us set up our dessert bar so that we didn't have to pay for the venue to set it up! She goes above and beyond! She and her assistant even took all our gifts to our hotel room for us so none would get lost in the wedding chaos. She was there all day for me, from 1030am til past midnight! She is friendly and approachable however firm-handed when it came to dealing with stubborn vendors. She's very sweet and we were so happy she was a part of our wedding. If I could do my wedding all over again, I would still work with her. Thank you Emilee!!!

I was referred to Emilee of Tasteful Tatters by my caterer and I'm so grateful for that! I hired her for both the design and coordination of my wedding, and from the moment we met, I felt assured that my wedding was being taken care of. I cannot begin to describe just how important that was for me since my fiance and I were both in medical school and didn't have a lot of time to devote to wedding planning.

She really gave me peace of mind, great advice, and honest opinions. In addition she handled all of the coordination with my vendors. Not only was I told by my guests that the design of my wedding was beautiful, but they told me how seamlessly the event was run, and I agree!

What I appreciated most about Emilee was how much thought and consideration she gave towards my wedding. Being students, we didn't have an extravagant budget to work with, but Emilee still made sure the day was memorable and representative of us.

Undoubtedly, I could not have pulled off my wedding without her. She is very talented, intuitive, resourceful, and easy to work with because she is able to understand people well. I cannot sing her praises enough. If you are considering hiring someone for either the design of your wedding and/or the coordination of your wedding, I highly recommend Emilee- she really goes above and beyond. I let Emilee take care of my big day, and completely enjoyed the wedding.

I'm going to keep it simple (like she did for us on our weddin by taking care of the event herself) this girl has class, great taste, imagination, and great time management! Her attention to detail was so impressive and the way she worked with all the vendors was a cake walk for us!!! Emilee and her assistant Heather were amazing! Our wedding day went so smoothly! I found Emilee about 2 1/2 months before our wedding. I was looking into vintage rentals and she was referred to me by my photograpgher. I'm not joking she was an answer to a wedding prayer. Not only did she do my rentals but she also did the coordinating for our big day. I was looking for someone to do that too and when I found out she did both and responded promptly to all my many emails from the get go I knew I had found a gem! I have to say Emilee was efficient, prompt organized and detail oriented. I had a lot of design and details at our wedding and she did an amazing job! I couldn't have been happier! She also had great ideas if I was unsure of what to do about certain things which was so helpful! I have to say that when the wedding was over I was a bit sad to say good bye. Thank you Emilee for everything!!

Emilee is a superb vendor, who I'd recommend to ANYONE. Just THREE weeks before my wedding in Malibu (with several areas to decorate), I parted ways with another design vendor I'd been working with for over 6 months, and was scrambling to find someone else to pick up the pieces, come up with a vision & execute the decor for our wedding. I met with Emilee and knew right away that her vision, her professionalism, her keen attention to detail, her taste, and her passion to bring our (picky) vision to life were spot on, and that if anyone could pull off such an epic undertaking in such a small period of time, that she could. AND I WAS RIGHT. Our favors, our stationary, our table decor, our ceremony, our reception, our cocktail hour, and the countless small touches -- were gorgeous and perfect. She also has a vast inventory of lovely vintage pieces that she peppered around the event, which made it feel that much more charming. I have/had tremendous confidence in her -- I love what a perfectionist she is and am so impressed by her work ethic and taste. I would hire her again/refer her in a heartbeat.

We were so lucky to find Tasteful Tatters through our amazing wedding coordinator Desiree Russolesi. We rented vintage suitcases and typewriter boxes, as well as several other items, to help create a "travel" theme for our wedding. Whenever I asked Emilee if she had something, somehow the answer was always "yes!" and accompanied by other fantastic suggestions. She took care of delivering everything, and all at a very reasonable price. We were so happy to have Tasteful Tatters involved in our wedding!

Emilee was our day of coordinator for our wedding and she was AMAZING!! She met with me multiple times before the wedding to make sure everything was going as planned and see if I needed any help. She introduced herself to our vendors the week of the wedding and made sure they were aware that they would be dealing with her and to not bother us with any concerns or questions. Our officiant couldn't make it to our rehearsal so Emilee stepped in and went over EVERYTHING, she was awesome. She arrived early the day of our wedding to overlook everything. Also, I did a lot of DIY decorations, so Emilee set it all up and made it look great! There was A LOT going on the day of our wedding and Emilee made sure everything went as planned. Of course, there were a few hiccups on our day but it didn't faze Emilee, she handled it. Also, Emilee was the LAST person at the end of the night - she boxed everything up that we wanted to take home and made sure our limo was all in order for us when we decided to leave. Emilee is an awesome coordinator. She is super sweet and very personable but at the same time isn't afraid to get a little tough if she has to. She is the BEST...you won't be disappointed. Trust me! :)

Wow, where do I start! Without Emilee I think I would have ran off to Vegas within the first month of wedding planning, she kept me going in a positive direction and made me stop to remember all the amazing details we were putting in to our wedding. She was amazing at keeping on top of things and I never once had to ask for anything! She also made my stunning and unique veil. And my bridesmaids had perfect Tasteful Tatters pieces for their wedding day looks. One of my favorite parts of my wedding was all in the details, and Emilee supplied many of those pieces with her vintage rentals, the birdcages and books made my centerpieces and everyone was talking about how unique our wedding was! I now work with her on anything creative ... parties, showers, etc. I would recommend her for anything!!!

Emilee at Tasteful Tatters was amazing, and choosing her to be our day-of wedding coordinator was one of the best (if not the best) planning decision we made. She and her team work very hard to make sure the plans you've put together actually come together on the big day, and she'll go out of her way to solve problems that pop up. We hired Emilee for her "month of coordination" package. My husband and I wanted to do most of the planning and decor ourselves, but didn't want to be stressed out with all of the small details a few weeks before and on our wedding day. Given this, the "month of" package was perfect, and Emilee delivered on all fronts- she even helped us out with questions, vendor advice and contract reviewing well before the month of our wedding.

Our actual wedding day was wonderful, but had a few unexpected hiccups (as most weddings do!). Emilee's team rose to the occasion and took care of everything. Neither us, or our guests, were aware of the minor issues that came up, and later when we learned that some of our other vendors had dropped the ball we were so grateful that we didn't have to get involved. Our one criticism would be that e-mail communication wasn't always the most polished/professional. However, her response rate was always very fast which was hugely appreciated. In general, I think that Emilee would do anything possible to make sure your wedding day goes off without a hitch. I'd recommend her and her team to any couples looking for peace of mind on their big day.

Emilee and her assistants were a great help on the day of the wedding. We had a lot of things that needed to be set up for the reception and we are so glad that Emilee and her team were on the job. She did a great job with working with my bridesmaids so that I wouldn't have to worry about anything except for enjoying the day. Everything looked great, and even though we ended up running late everything still felt like it was going smoothly. I was a bit worried from giving up control, but everything turned out great and we had a wonderful time.

I wish I could give Emilee NEGATIVE stars if I could. It baffles me how she could even have other positive reviews because she was THAT bad and THAT unprofessional. I hired Emilee earlier this year for my wedding in November. Her level of unprofessionalism has gotten so out of hand that I not only had to give her a warning but fire her a week before our wedding.

It's been about a month since my wedding so I had a lot of time to cool down and my wedding turned out to be amazing so I am most definitely not writing this review out of anger but solely as a warning to any bride who might be considering her to avoid what I can only call a nightmare.

I can go on and on in details about each and every reason why she is completely unprofessional but since Wedding Wire won't allow long comments, I'll save the details (not responding for a week on a single email, unpunctual, unassertive etc) and get to the reason why I was forced with no choice but to fire her last minute.

A week before my wedding she had forwarded me an email with an attachment that I needed, I guess she didn't realize that I could read the past conversations that were attached between her and her correspondent where she called me the "craziest bride" and that I'm "Korean and there has been so many miscommunications". This is how I talk and write in my emails, I've never been told I am hard to communicate with because I'm Korean. Calling a bride crazy is one thing but to blame my ethnicity as if it had to do with ANYTHING is beyond uncalled for and unacceptable.

I'm not sure why all her other reviews are really great while my experience with her has been nothing but horrible. But if I were a bride again and had to do this all over, I would run very FAR away from Emilee because this is not the kind of person you want in charge of the most important day of your life.
