One of the best planners in the DMV!
I first came across Sweetface events when I was a Catering Sales Manager in Old Town, VA selling weddings at The Alexandrian and Morrison House hotels. They impressed me so much by not only how on top of things they were but how personable they were with their couples and hotel staff. When my time came and I moved down to Florida I knew there was no other wedding planner I would want to go with. Deidre and Serena are some of the most genuine and humble people in the wedding industry. They also connected me with Allison who did my day of stationary - everything was so perfect leading up to the day and day off. This is your planner if you want someone to not only care about your special day but also care about the whole experience. Very thankful I went with Sweetface!-

Incredible and worth their weight in gold
Our experience with Sweetface Events, specifically Deidre and Sarena, was absolutely incredible. We hired Sweetface for month of coordination with the intent of minimizing stress in the final weeks of planning and the day of. Deidre made herself available at practically all hours, answering texts, calls, emails, and attending in person meetings when necessary. Our wedding had a detailed schedule, coupled with less than stellar coordination/communication on behalf of our venue point of contact, and Deidre and Sarena did not miss a single thing. They went above and beyond and exhibited that they were beyond professional and capable. Lastly, and possibly most impressive, was how kind and reassuring they were throughout the process and day of. There were some stressors with other vendors, details, and schedule concerns, but they always made me feel, as the bride and primary wedding planner, reassured and understood. If I could rate them a million, I would, and our event would have been significantly less successful without them. We are forever grateful and highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or other event. -

The absolute best decision we ever made
Hiring Deidre from Sweetface Events was the greatest thing we did for our wedding(s) - Deidre planned not just one wedding for us, but three! We had to reschedule a 2020 wedding and replace it with a "mini-mony" for our family only, and then replan a 2021 vow renewal and reception for our original guest list. Deidre was there through it all - coordinating across all 11 of our vendors, keeping everyone on schedule, and keeping us calm during a stressful time!
The whole Sweetface Team is wonderful to work with, and we couldn't have had a more perfect day(s) - all thanks to them! -

Deidre is the best!
Deidre was the absolute greatest in helping us execute the perfect wedding. Not only that, but during COVID she helped us reschedule and coordinate many many different vendors, executing both a mini ceremony with just our immediate families and the big party once we were finally able. Couldn't have made it all happen without Deidre's steady presence. I would recommend Sweetface Events to literally anyone. -

Hire Sweetface & Enjoy Your Day!!
We hired Sweetface for day-of coordinating, but honestly, Deidre was a HUGE help throughout the entire wedding planning process. Not everyone will need to talk through changing venues (yay 2020!) two months before the day - but if you don't have all that craziness, you should still hire Sweetface so you can relax and enjoy your wedding. Extremely professional and took care of all the little details perfectly. -

I HIGHLY recommend Sweetface Events if you're planning a wedding in the D.C. area. I had to plan my wedding from Germany, so my mother was working with Sarena a lot. Sarena is such a kind person to work with, always keeping a calm manner, which I found extremely nice. She is completely professional and on top of everything. Not only was she highly responsive to all our questions and needs, talking my mother and I through all the details (many emails and calls) but she also recommended amazing vendors that were all excellent and were able to work with our budget. We had Sarena there for day-of coordination and everything ran very smoothly! Her experience with wedding planning and day-of coordination really shows and I do believe she went above and beyond her duties. -

I interviewed a few wedding planners before meeting Sarena, but once we had our first meeting — I knew she was the one.
Sarena knows what she’s doing. She’s honest, patient, accommodating, and will do what’s right. I’ve always felt like customer satisfaction was a priority to her.
Planning a wedding is a long, detailed, and strenuous process — but my weekly calls and meetings with Sarena were always a pleasant one! Getting along with your wedding planner is important — because you’re essentially stuck with them until the wedding is over — and I truly believe that one of Sarena’s talents is being such a great people person.
She also saved us on several incidents on our wedding day — things that I FOR SURE wouldn’t have known what to do if she wasn’t there.
Out of all vendors and investments we put in for our wedding, Sarena was by far the most unregretful one. Thank you again SO MUCH Sarena!! -

ABSOLUTELY LOVE SARENA AND THE SWEETFACE TEAM!!! Where do I even begin, working with Sarena for the 9 months before our wedding was an absolute dream. We chose to work with Sarena after having just one phone call with her due to her ability to recognize what our needs were. Right off the bat, she helped us plan a realistic timeline and budget for everything, which we were able to stick to because of her guidance. Throughout the months, Sarena kept us on track, provided tons of amazing recommendations, and was there for us personally every step of the way. She and her team were incredibly professional and extremely talented: from the decor to the time management to the last minute details. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect because of Sarena and she has become like family to us, we are truly grateful for her and Sweetface events. Definitely choose Sweetface Events if you want a team of truly incredible and super sweet and down to earth wedding planners! -

My husband and I are busy professionals in our 30s. We wanted to have a nice wedding but had concerns about time, keeping our families happy, and all those wedding details that we knew were inevitable.

Sarena Baker made the whole experience run smoothly and easily. She knew the right questions to ask, she gently directed us to make decisions so she could move forward, she put us in touch with excellent and cost-conscious vendors, she handled some of our more challenging family members with ease. She lightened the load and stress of wedding planning in a tremendous way. I cannot stress to you how relieved I was by the middle and end of the process to have an absolute pro behind the scenes coordinating the effort. She even did a special errand for a "Spanx emergency" on the day of the wedding.
Other feedback - I heard from our hotel events coordinator that Sarena asked all the right questions. From my vantage point, she was such a great guide, and it was good to know that he had the same impression. He said that she asked all the right questions and knew all the details that a venue or hotel coordinator would need to know, and he enjoyed working with her.
To top it all off, Sarena is just a cool person and fun to be around. To top THAT off, when we went to pay the final deposit I felt like we were robbing her, thinking of all the value and help we got from working with her. Best money we spent, hands down.
DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR! Hire Sweetface to help you with your wedding!!! -

We hired Nicole as our "day-of" planner and she was absolutely amazing to work with! She was very responsive to my many email requests and questions and always had great ideas and suggestions to supplement my own. She went above and beyond to remain accessible, even before the official time frame reflected in our contract. I highly recommend reaching out to Nicole if you are in search of a rockstar planner! -

Sarena did a great job assisting with our wedding. We contracted her services about 5 months prior to our wedding, as we were running behind on some of our planning, including floral, hotel room block and tabletop decor. She did a great job keeping us on track with all items. Additionally, she was instrumental on our big day. She has a kind, professional demeanor and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her! -

I cannot tell you enough how much my planners (Nicole and Deidre) absolutely SAVED MY LIFE when it came to the wedding planning experience. I have never wanted a wedding because of the headache and anxiety that planning causes... but working with Sweetface made the experience FLAWLESS. They were on top with emails and communication with myself and my vendors. I felt like I didn't need to take care of anything by myself. Every time I stressed, they were very solution focused and were there for me, guiding me or doing for me. And let me not forgot to say that these ladies made my entire wedding weekend FLAWLESS. They saved me money with taking all equipment from my florist and doing all my table settings for me and took my vision and PERFECTLY presented it with the decor. It was perfect, they were perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything better! -

Sweetface is a full service wedding planning organization. They can help with finding all other vendors, have great ideas for wedding themes, and help with every aspect of the planning. Had Ii to do it over again, I would definitely go with Swetface Events, because they handled all of my problems and questions with ease, making my daughter's wedding day absolutely perfect. -

Sarena with Sweetface Events was like my guardian angel throughout the entire wedding planning process from the moment we met to the last moments of packing up all the details and decor of our wedding. She is incredibly easy to work with - so friendly, accommodating, and always has ideas to offer even when you think you have thought of everything. Her flexibility when it came to meeting in person was very much appreciated, and was always a phone call or text away. Although I only met Nicole on the day of my wedding, she too, was a joy to work with. It was almost as if I had known her since the beginning of planning the wedding as well. Sarena and Nicole work so efficiently well together and are truly a dream team to work with. One of them was always there for me and my husband the day of our wedding for ANY of our needs. First off, I have to say that the planning process for our wedding was very unusual. My wife was born and raised in S. Korea and is not a native English speaker so ALL of the communication between my wife and our planner basically came through me. Also, weddings in Korea are typically done in packages so the wedding couple only has to pick which package they want, and EVERYTHING is taken care of by the planner, so doing an American wedding was quite a daunting task for my wife.
With that said, working with Deidre from Sweetface Events was WONDERFUL! Deidre was extremely patient, well-organized, and was always willing to accommodate our busy/hectic schedule. A month before our wedding date, we actually ended up switching our reception location. Deidre didn’t miss a beat, and was able to switch gears immediately to get our new reception location locked down and ready to go. She was always mindful of our budget and provided creative yet sensible recommendations for all of our requests.
Also, during our planning process my wife and I somehow lost track of a Polaroid camera that we planned on using for our wedding guest book. We looked everywhere for it, but we just couldn’t find it and since the wedding was next week, we decided to give up on the idea. Deidre actually went on Amazon and bought a polaroid camera AND film for us to use during our reception at no charge! The camera and film itself is not cheap at all, and it ended being a big hit at our reception. To be honest, we actually cherish those polaroid photos more than the photos we got from our wedding photographer. Deidre really is a wonderful person who genuinely cares about helping others, and has an innate talent for wedding planning.
I know that there were probably a bunch of things that Deidre did for us that we will never know, but we truly appreciated all the help that she provided. Thanks Deidre!

I hired Sweetface to provide month of coordination for my wedding and worked with Nicole Hild. Despite only being contracted for month of coordination, Nicole was helping me with vendor selections and recomendations months before my wedding. I had a specific vision in mind and when i couldnt find the tablecloths that I really wanted, Nicole pulled through and found me a reliable vendor with the perfect linens!
Nicole did an amazing job and I couldnt have pulled this wedding together without her. She followed up with the many vendors I had that day and was even willing to help us out smooth out some "family" issues. I would highly recommend Sweetface events for wedding planning or at the very least, month of coordination. You won't regret it!

Sarena at Sweetface Events was the BEST! I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with her on my wedding. She was extremely helpful, provided lots of great vendor recommendations, gave friendly reminders when I needed to start booking things, and was very responsive to any and all questions I had. I was able to give them all of my decor for the wedding the week before and Sarena and her team decorated my wedding venue exactly as I had pictured. I loved the way everything turned out. They really took a lot of stress out of wedding planning and the day of. From the planning process, to event set up, and day of coordination she made sure everything went flawlessly. My husband and I absolutely loved working with Nicole and Sweetface Events! We talked to quite a few planners when looking for help with planning our wedding, but when we met Nicole we knew we had found the perfect planner for us. Throughout the entire process, she was extremely kind, helpful, responsive, and professional. Nicole helped us find fantastic vendors and brought together our scattered ideas into the perfect day. Additionally, Sweetface Events offers a great variety of packages and although we initially went with a more expensive package, during planning Nicole noticed a less expensive package was a better fit for our needs and adjusted our contract accordingly. We were so appreciative and impressed by Nicole's thoughtfulness and attention to detail. In the end, everything came together amazingly and our wedding day was absolutely perfect (if there were any problems, Nicole took care of them and made sure we remained stress free the whole night!). Nicole, thank you so much for helping Will and I make our wedding dreams a reality! For anyone who is looking for a fantastic wedding planner, we highly suggest using Sweetface Events! -

Sarena and her team were on point with everything. I had a Chinese/Vietnamese wedding at a Chinese restaurant with about 470+ people. Many people will say that having a planner isn't necessary for an Asian wedding, but if you have that many people then I highly suggest Sweetface for the job. Calls, emails, and texts were answered quickly and everything was executed by Sarena and her team as planned. Highly recommended (especially for Asian style weddings since she has experienced one that was so large). -

Deidre was referred to me by an out of state friend who had worked with her before. I was hesitant to work with an out of state planner (we live and our wedding was in Connecticut) but I am so happy I chose Deidre. She was very responsive to all of my calls and emails and even took the time to come to town to meet with me and my family before I selected her. Her attentiveness and warm nature is the reason why we opted to go with the full service package.
For almost a year, Deidre worked on all details assisting in all my decision making, this truly made the planning process a stress free experience. Additionally, she secured all vendors, negotiated great rates & maintained a great relationship with all of my vendors - staying on top of everything from start to finish. During my wedding weekend, Deidre and her team traveled to Connecticut and ensured that my vision came to life, not missing a beat the entire day. She really made us feel special throughout the entire process. We definitely made a great choice! -

By far Sweetface Events was my favorite vendor from my wedding experience!!!! I worked with Sarena and could not recommend her enough. I hired her company as "day of coordinator" and that package title does not fit all that she did. Her involvement from the moment we first spoke up until the moment I left my venue on my wedding day was above and beyond. Weddings are stressful and she is a calm, responsive, professional and highly knowledgeable wedding planning expert. I had a outdoor wedding on a budget that included A LOT of DIY items and she was patient & helpful with all my plans. -

Nicole was absolutely amazing for my wedding in June. We hired Sweetface for month of coordination - to make sure all of the final details fell into place - and they did just that. It was so great to know that someone was on point all day and not have to worry about all of the little details. Nicole was extremely friendly and was super helpful - offering to help us with recommendations of vendors immediately after we signed the contract - even though it was over a month before our wedding.
Nicole and her team went out of their way to accommodate us by coming to our home for a meeting since we don't have a car in the city, and even helped drop off wedding gifts after the reception at our hotel (it was honestly something I was fretting about for weeks and the fact that she offered to help us with that lifted such a weight off of me!).
I also got to meet Nicole's partner, and sister, who stepped in during our rehearsal at the last minute - and she was great as well.
Overall I had a great experience with Sweetface - they made us so comfortable and reassured us along the way - and would absolutely recommend them to anyone out there! -

Sweetface came to me through a referral and I'm so glad I went with them. I worked mostly with Nicole, although Sarena was there to help with another assistant on the actual wedding day. Nicole was always very responsive and on top of checking into things and getting answers to many of our vendor related questions. They were extremely organized and did a great job of trying to keep everything to the timeline. We had everything set up the way we asked and we got everything packed and back to us the same night. They were swift! We had a wonderful day, and while we ended up getting some rain on our outdoor ceremony, Sweetface did everything they could to make sure the day go without a hitch. And while the rain did dampen the ceremony a bit, it was still the best day of my life and so magical!! I owe a lot to them as overtime I turned and saw Nicole, she looked like she was working very hard and running around non stop to make sure things were going as planned. I'm not sure how I would have gotten through the day without them. Superb team! Thank you again :) -

The whole industry can put you off. Everyone thinks they know best what you’ll want for your special day. There are also the coordinators who try to use their scare tactics, “well, you’ll want to hire someone who has connections with all the right vendors because something is undoubtedly going to go wrong”. Just when I was ready to throw in the towel, I found Sarena. Or as I like to think of her; Serene-a. She was a dream come true. I immediately felt at ease in our first conversation over the phone. She is calm, composed, and professional; she knows what she is doing. When we met in person, she came prepared and took copious notes, listening to what we envisioned as our “perfect-day”. Without hesitation we asked her to work with us and she graciously accepted.
From that moment forward, our overall experience with the wedding-planning was positive. Sarena went above and beyond our expectations and even went outside of her scope of work. She was responsive and collaborative. We knew without a doubt we were in good hands and were going to enjoy every minute of our wedding.
On the day of our wedding Sarena was on top of everything. She made sure our “vison” was on full display and did a superior job! Sarena and her staff were nothing short of excellent. We even had family members who (we least expected) comment on how wonderful they were. We feel so fortunate to have worked with Sarena. Thanks to her, we truly had the best day of our lives.

Nicole was a lifesaver! I was planning the wedding from out of town and Nicole was so helpful in recommending vendors and coordinating all the details with our venue and vendors. She was so sweet and reassuring throughout the whole process that I was right on schedule and everything would turn out great. She was so helpful in suggestions with timing, gifts, set-up, decor- basically everything wedding related.
We had a table number/seating mix-up at our wedding due to the caterer and she was able to take charge and get everyone seated and happy. She even noticed a guest who was downstairs during dinner, due to not feeling well and made sure to bring him a special meal to brighten his mood. Nicole even kept her cool when I decided to throw out our timeline and get the cake-cutting, garter toss, and bouquet toss out done at one time so I could dance. Sweetface is amazing and I would definitely recommend them to help you keep your sanity during planning and the day of! -

Sarena and her team are nothing but an absolute joy and blessing to work with. My husband and I hired Sarena for day-of coordinating services, but from the very beginning she was always available and responsive to any inquiries, concerns, etc. Her support never waivered, she never failed to offer sound advice, nor missed a step or detail in any of the wedding craziness. Sarena is extremely professional and personable at the same time - I have no doubt she could work with any and everybody. She coordinated seamlessly with all of our vendors - the day of our wedding, I truly knew that everything was under control and I really didn't need to worry or be concerned about a thing! Sarena was the day of coordinator for our wedding. She was incredibly great to work with. We spoke over the phone a few times before the big day so she could get all of the necessary information. I had done a lot of little DIY projects and had plans to have decor from my ceremony repurposed for the reception, so I wanted to find someone I knew I could trust to make everything just the way I pictured.
Sarena was very responsive, very organized, and just a calming presence to have around at the rehearsal and at the wedding. She made everything so easy and made it so that I could just enjoy the day and not have to worry about anything. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who wants to be able to enjoy their wedding and not have to worry about a thing! -

Working with Sarena was one of the best decisions I made while wedding planning. I hired Sweetface Events for month-of wedding coordination and I'm glad I did. Sarena worked with me even months leading up to the month-of to check on my progress with booking vendors, to make sure I stayed sane and to let me know she was there to help if needed. It was a great feeling to take everything I planned and hand it over to an experienced wedding coordinator like Sarena. She went through vendor list and read all my contracts to make sure I was going to get what I paid for. She effectively communicated with the event manager at the venue and all the vendors to execute what I had envisioned for my wedding. It was seamless, if there were any hiccups, I didn't notice because I was too focused on just being happy and not worrying about vendors and timelines and she made sure I was happy and focused on just enjoying the day. In addition, she made sure to be in contact with my MOH/other members of the bridal party on the day before and day of, so that I wouldn't be glued to my phone. I was happy she delegated tasks and knew everything that was going on and checked on our status as we traveled to the ceremony and reception. Timelines are important and she helped tweak mine so that the entire day flowed nicely. In addition, the week leading up to my wedding, we went over final details and I handed over some of my DIY décor for the cocktail hour/reception. This was a huge relief, as I did not have to worry about lugging around 5 large bins to the hotel myself. Sarena and her team were able to display everything to my liking. Sarena was our day-of coordinator and it was one of the best decisions we made. She was on top of everything and made sure our wedding went off without a hitch. We met several times before the wedding and she was super knowledgeable, asking all the right questions (things I would have never thought of!) her personality is so sweet and calming, I knew I wouldn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day. Sweetface Events is very reasonably priced for what you get - I had a great experience with Sarena (and her assistants!) and would definitely recommend them. I originally didn't think I would need a coordinator but I am SO glad I hired one :) -

All we needed was someone who could set up our wedding details so we didn't have to worry about assigning a friend or family member to do it for us--- but we got MORE. When we first met Nicole, we instantly felt comfortable. She was easy to talk to, friendly, LISTENED to what we needed and wanted. We booked with Sweetface Events with confidence that we weren't going to stress about anything. We only opted for DAY OF Coordination, but we felt we received more than that. Months before the wedding she asked us if there were any vendors we were still looking for and that she could help if needed. She responded quickly with ANY type of questions and was flexible with changes. We felt like we were communicating with someone we've known for awhile. Feeling this way months before the wedding surely helped ease our minds as the our wedding day approached. She looked over all our contracts, she did walk-throughs with us, she was there for rehearsal and took care of us weeks after our wedding was over (even when we were in our honeymoon!) as we had to deal with some vendors still. Nicole was my day of planner for our September wedding. Nicole was super responsive to emails leading up to our wedding and then the week of she put me at ease at both our "week of" and rehearsal meetings. She offered good advice but also was a calming presence and once our vision was explained, she took it and ran with it the day of the wedding. All of the set up of our various decor items was perfect and she kept us on track throughout the wedding day with timing. So appreciative of her and her staff. Would definitely recommend to others. -

Nicole at Sweetface Events was the wedding day event coordinator for our daughter's wedding at the Ritz Carlton in DC on August 9. She met with us several times prior to the wedding day, responded promptly to all questions/suggestions and was pleasant and professional in every way. She coordinated with vendors and worked seamlessly with the hotel event coordinator at the Ritz Carlton. On wedding day, Nicole was present, with her sister, throughout the afternoon and beyond the end of the reception. We had many guests tell us it was the best and most fun wedding they had ever attended. We highly recommend Nicole and Sweetface Events. -

I contacted Sarena at Sweetface Events to be my coordinator when I was already 6 months into my engagement-- and after our first meeting, I sorely wished I had contacted her sooner! Highly efficient, but incredibly considerate, Sarena noted down every word I said and kept track of things and details that would have otherwise slipped my mind. She was wonderfully helpful and creative in a "behind the scenes," sort of way, working with me on a tight timeline and willing to take care of all kinds of various tasks that were simply overwhelming me. I could totally rest easy on my wedding day knowing she had it under control-- and she NEVER was a "wedding Nazi" like some wedding planners are reputed to be. She never "took over" or bossed me around. In addition to being wonderfully efficient from planning to clean up, she was simply one of the nicest persons I'd ever met. -

We hired Sarena from Sweetface Events early in our wedding planning to be our Day of Coordinator. From Day 1, she was responsive, easy to work with, and extremely helpful. Nicole is Sarena's sister and partner and she was also a fantastic addition to our vendor team. I didn't have extra time to visit and talk to multiple vendors, so I had to trust others' recommendations. Sarena and Sweetface's recs were all fantastic! I used their recommended florist, bakery, and took their advice on many other small details. Sarena was incredibly professional with everyone in my family and contacted all of my vendors the week of the wedding to ensure everything was in order. While I'm very Type A and organized, it was wonderful to have someone else double checking and making sure we'd covered everything. She made the day of our wedding and the week leading up to it a breeze. From helping us coordinate the rehearsal to the very end of the wedding, Sarena was AMAZING.
We also hired Sarena for our brunch the day after our wedding and it was VERY fortunate that we did. The caterers caused the fire sprinkler system to activate and we were forced to have a brunch for 50 people in our 2 bedroom apartment. Again, Sarena was invaluable in helping us deal with the crisis, guide our guests to the new location, and support us during the crazy time. We were very happy that we hired her to help us with the brunch, as we would have had to deal with so much more chaos.
Sarena was an amazing addition to our wedding team and we were thrilled to have her work with us. I would hire her again in a second and recommend Sweetface Events to anyone! -

sweetface events did an amazing job during our wedding day. at first, me and my now husband was hesitant to get a wedding coordinator since we were planning to have a SMALL wedding. but as we were going thru the number of guests, we started to feel overwhelmed coz the list went over 100. believe me, asian weddings never go under 100 of guests! so we decided that we needed a wedding coordinator. we met sweetface at a bridal showcase and we felt very comfortable with them. they were absolutely wonderful. these ladies treat you like a family member. they gave us prompt response throughout the wedding process. although we only needed them for the day-of the wedding, they were always available whenever we ask their help and advise. on the day of the event, everything went smoothly and stress-free and everyone had a great time. we could not have done it without sweetface. -

Hiring Sarena and Nicole was one of the best decision we made during wedding planning process. I am naturally type A and plan events all the time for work- from the moment I met these ladies, I knew we were in great hands. They quickly responded to e-mails and questions throughout our planning process and were very helpful during our month of prep.
Our venue provided us with no shortage of mini-emergencies leading up to our big day and Sweetface was there for us every step of the way. They set up both our ceremony and reception exactly as we envisioned it and ensured we ran on schedule throughout the night.

Sarena was a life saver. She came in the month before our wedding and truly got us on our feet. We didn't realize what details we hadn't thought of. Sarena kept us on track, coordinated with our vendors and was great to talk to if we ever got stressed out. After our first meeting with Sarena and Nicole we already felt 150% better than we had going into the meeting. She was always available and we could text, email or call her anytime. I would highly recommend her if you want someone who is both personable and extremely organized. The day of my wedding I was calm and happy because I knew that if anything went wrong, she would take care of it. As far as I know... nothing went wrong. I couldn't have asked for better planners than Nicole and Sarena! I booked them for "day of" coordination but really received more like month of help. I booked them about a year out from my wedding and from the beginning they were responsiveness, insightful of the wedding industry, and quick to respond. I felt like they went above and beyond to help outside of just the "day of" services, giving me advice throughout my planning process. The month and then week leading into the wedding they were like wedding angels, helping pick up the vendor confirmations and timeline planning. Nicole and Sarena are a dream come true for any bride who needs things to go smoothly. Their services are exceptional and having them do month of planning for me was money well spent. They are very easy to work with and make sure that you are calm and that things go well. They were adept at making sure we didn’t have any surprise guests and updated the table plans and seating arrangements accordingly. They even helped our photographer find an assistant and gave us a ride home at the end of the evening when we couldn't find any cabs. We really recommend them whole-heartedly! -

They handled all the vendors and executed all the little details of our wedding day flawlessly! You can tell that they are passionate about event planning, and they put their absolute all into it. The best thing about working with these two amazing women is that I felt like I was their only client, even though I knew they were balancing many clients at the same time. They responded very quickly to all emails and phone calls, and they were proactive in making sure I was on top of everything in an appropriate timeline as well. Nicole and Sarena are fabulous wedding coordinators and they really made it that much more special by easing my mind from all worries. -

Let me start off by saying that hiring Nicole and Sarena was easily the best money we spent on the wedding. From our initial meeting until even after the wedding was all done, these ladies were top notch. We used Sweetface for day of coordination and it made life easy. They were available for consultation from day one of meeting them and even met us at our venue a few times to go over details and planning. Needless to say, when it came to our actual wedding day, they handled everything with ease. We even got compliments from our other vendors on what a pleasure it was working with them. They're professional, friendly, detail-oriented, and most importantly they get the job done beyond your expectations. I wasn't planning on having wedding planners but once I stopped and realized how many guests I had and all the details that went into it, I knew I couldn't and didn't want to do that on my wedding day. I found Sweetface Events and didn't look back. I emailed Nicole and Sarena every time I started to get a little overwhelmed and they would reply within hours and helped me organize my thoughts and worries. Nicole and Sarena were AMAZING! I hired them for day of coordination and I had a worry free day due to the hard work of Nicole and Sarena. My venue was really hard to work with especially with giving us time to set up. Nicole and Sarena made the tight timeline to get our room ready work!!! I was so worried but these 2 women created a miracle!!!!! I hired Sweetface Events to provide day-of wedding coordination services and I highly recommend them! Nicole and Sarena take care of everything on the wedding day and can help with the rehearsal the night before. They helped me put together a timeline, answered any general questions I had and provide a detailed checklist to make sure everything is covered. It's also nice to have someone handling the things you may have had to ask family and friends to do. Their general attitude on the big day is fantastic too - never hectic or stressed out, always smiling and calm :) Sweetface Events provides the peace of mind that your wedding will run smoothly at a VERY reasonable price. Sweetface Events did an amazing job in executing my wedding plans at the Top of the Town in Arlington, VA last June. Nicole & Serena brought my ideas and concept plans into reality and made them even better than I had imagined. They were detailed oriented and worked under pressure during some minor adjustments at the wedding.
Advice to all the brides to be: It’s hard not to get caught up in your idea of a perfect wedding. On the day of the wedding, you just don’t have a choice but to let go of the control. Let Sweetface events take over the details. Be flexible if things do not turn out what it’s in your plan. Do not go crazy in rethinking should of / could of, because guests will tell you it was the perfect wedding. After 8 months, my guests are still telling me that. And, don’t forget to enjoy your wedding day !!!
I would definitely recommend Sweetface Events to all my friends and families who are getting married.

Nicole and Sarena were amazing! They were recommended to be by a friend who also used them at her wedding and I could not have been happier. They are worth well more than they charge, which was less than any other quote I received.
Nicole and Sarena met with me multiple times before the wedding, including a site visit. They even helped with the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding when we needed someone to meet vendors and set up while we were at the rehearsal.
The day of the wedding they made sure everything went perfect. They were there for whatever we needed, while also "blending into the background" which I can't imagine is an easy balance to reach.
They worked really well with all of our other vendors as well.
I had made the centerpieces myself, along with escort cards and various other signage that we needed to be setup while we were at the church. Nicole and Sarena did an amazing job with this! I couldn't have done it better myself, and let's be honest, that is the whole point of the day of coordinators and they did it perfectly.
Our wedding was perfect, and it was in no small part to Nicole and Sarena who were by far the best money we spent on the wedding.
Oh, one last thing. I was totally one of those brides who thought "Day of coordinator? Why would I need one of those? I can handle this! After all, I am doing a lot of the wedding projects on my own anyways."--Nicole and Sarena made sure that all of the effort that I had put in in the months leading up to the wedding, were able to really be shown off. I was able to enjoy my wedding to the fullest because of all the work that Nicole and Sarena did.

My husband and I got married in October of 2010. I thought I had planned a 'simple' wedding but the further I got into planning, the more I realized how many projects, ideas, details etc. were very quickly overwhelming me. I had tossed around the idea of an event planner biut didn't plan for one in my budget. Finally, I decided I didn't care how much it was going to cost me, I needed some serious help. Enter Sweetface Events...best money my husband and I ever spent!
Sarena and Nicole were referred to me by a friend who is also in the event planning arena. I was looking for a person or people who would help me set up the day of. Little did I know at the time, day of coordination takes weeks to prepare for! From the moment we met, they listened to my vision, were receptive to what I needed from them and were professional in every way. They were always prompt in their responses either by e-mail or phone and always looked for ways to get things done in an efficient and timely manner. They came to me, which was important since I had so many things going on during the planning, they visited my sight several times and even picked up all of my decor a few days before the wedding so I wouldn't have to deal with the stress of dealing with that the day of the actual wedding. They came to the rehearsal and made sure things went smoothly there and started setting up my reception venue the night before the wedding. They also picked up and dropped off my bouquets at my house so we would have them for pictures.
I hardly saw either of them during the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception but everything we had talked about and more, I could see in the details when I looked around. IT WAS PERFECT! They even took everything down, packed it up, and dropped it back off at our home that night! My wedding day was the best day of my life and it would not have been the same if Nicole and Sarena had not been a part of it. I ceretainly wouldn't have been able to sit back and relax on my day if I hadn't had them there. They have a true talent for this industry and they will make your wedding day dreams come true. -

We are very lucky to have found Sweetface Events. Sarena and Nicole are professional and extremely helpful. Working with them was a pleasure. I didn't feel like a number. Even though they were technically providing only "day-of" services for our wedding, I met with Sarena and Nicole each once during planning, they came to a site visit with the caterer on a weekend, they came to our rehearsal, and both worked all day at the wedding. We exchanged a ton of emails too. Their price was the best of any coordinator I interviewed or contacted.
Our set-up looked beautiful. They followed my floorplan and understood my vision for where everything would be located. During the reception, they were right there if I needed something.
Sweetface is a young company, but they are excellent and have a true passion for wedding planning. I highly recommend getting in touch with Sarena and Nicole. -

Sarena was great, very detail oriented and very on-top of things. Was good at being proactive about tasks and reminders, the day wouldn't have happened without her! We hired her for Partial wedding planning: we picked the venue ourselves, but she helped us with vendors and with the day-of. My husband and I both have demanding jobs ~70 hrs per week, so neither of us had time to do much planning so it was a lifesaver to have Sarena take care of everything. Sarena was cognizant of every minute detail of every task and wanted to make sure I approved every detail. I didn't have the time (or the desire) to decide every little detail, so if you have time constraints and discuss with her up front how much time you are able to spend on an individual task then she'll step up and apply her extensive expertise to decide the little things that you don't care about or have time to deal with. Her expertise and insight into the industry were invaluable in helping us make decisions in unfamiliar territory. Can't say enough about how helpful she was in keeping everything organized and liaising with all the vendors, which is a huge task (especially since it's hard to pry quotes and answers to your questions from many vendors). In sum, she was great start to finish and I highly recommend her. -

Sarena was a wonderful day-of coordinator to work with! Her day-of package really comes with about a month of planning and even meetings before that. As a very DIY, over-planner bride, I wasn't sure how having a coordinator would help, but having someone along the way who knows the business was very helpful to solve problems and remind me of things I was forgetting. The day of (and the prior day rehearsal) ran very smoothly thanks to her and her sister who were always busy making sure people were taken care of. It was super nice to have someone to point people to if they had questions so my husband and I could relax and enjoy the day. -

We like the fact that Nicole handled everything during the day-of --- there was absolutely nothing to worry or to be concerned about. All wedding-day events had followed the planned timeline closely. Nicole coordinated with the other vendors in such a way that they (vendors) were positioned exactly where we'd planned. My husband and I were able to enjoy the wedding day without having an iota of worry about logistics and timing.
Nicole served as an excellent point of contact between us and the other vendors --meaning all we had to do was to voice our requirements or concerns and she would take care of any communications/corrections that were needed. -

Nicole was great! My wife and I recently hired her for our wedding and we would do it again in a heartbeat. Sarena from Sweetface Events was our planner during the planning process and the day of our wedding this past July. Sarena is well known in the area and already had great relationships with all of our vendors. She also helped us find awesome contacts for the vendors that we had not already chosen. Sarena was confident when helping us problem-solve and helped work out the stressful parts during the planning process. About a month out from the wedding, Sarena took all of the wedding décor off my hands and was quick to respond to anything that we needed. Sarena helped make our day one we will never forget! -

Nicole is amazingly sweet and kind, unfortunately our styles were very different. I'm not a really a girly girl and thought I would struggle through the wedding details, hence hiring a planner. I'm more of a data driven person and budgets and numbers make more sense to me than decor.
Before even finding a planner my husband and I created a very detailed budget based on our best guesses. We couldn't get Sweetface to review it to give us feedback wether it was realistic or not. Instead we got suggestions for vendors outside of our budgeted amounts; if our numbers were fine, why were they suggesting vendors outside of our budget, if the numbers weren't fine we wanted to be able to plan for it. We'd meet for an hour or two and I'd get emails after the meeting asking about things that we had already gone over at length. It felt like a waste of time to meet in person; I started to take notes during our meeting to email the details to her afterward so that nothing was lost. I also felt like the general organization and order of the vendors we were trying to hire was strange. There were vendors that I felt were very integral to a wedding that were put off while less important vendors were being vetted. Moreover we didn't feel like she negotiated very good deals with the vendors that we did hire.
I tried to explain my frustrations to her and she really tried to hear me out but the communication wasn't there. I became stressed feeling like I had to keep track of everything so we ended our relationship with this planner. For me, I needed someone very organized and data oriented and it did not work out well. It's unfortunate because I think a bride with a more open budget who loves frilly details would love her, she really gets into it and clearly loves the whole wedding image. -
