Unique Beautiful Venue

Sundy House went above and beyond every expectation for our wedding day. The staff was easy to communicate with and very prompt when we had questions or wanted a change. The food is delicious and servers are so kind and attentive. We hosted the cocktail hour at the cenote pond, the reception in the Mediterranean villa room and we included the indoor bar in our rental which added to the elegance of the night. Our guest count was 86 and this room/bar was the perfect without feeling crowded. South Florida was a destination wedding for us. Sundy House was so flexible with us as our time for a food tasting and visit of the gardens was limited to a weekend. I would recommend it for any events or just a meal to anyone in the area! Thank you so much for making our wedding day our dream!

Perfection

The most gorgeous, classic, tropical, old Florida venue for a wedding. Every spot in this venue is photo-worthy, and it will give you the very best wedding photos for your big day. The event coordinator, Tom, is so kind and helpful. The food is amazing. The staff is top notch. So glad I chose the Sundy House

Lovely ambiance with delicious food

I recently had my wedding at the Sundy House and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a stunning venue with wonderful food for very little stress. Most things were included and taken care of by the Sundy House including: rentals, food, alcohol, valet parking, and cake. Tom made the process so seamless and simple. The rooms were eclectic and perfect for the bridal party to get ready as well as the honeymoon suite for the night of the wedding.

Bridal shower bliss

My wife and I had our double bridal shower at Sundy House. The food, the service, and the overall aesthetic had our attendees raving about our event up until the actual wedding. We actually joked that we might have set the bar too high with our incredible shower and would probably be letting guests down with our wedding. This is an incredible venue. Additionally, their Sunday brunch is the best thing in Florida so if you’re ever in the area, definitely check it out!

Best.venue.ever.

Catering director: Tom was EXCELLENT to work with. His communication is clear. He has done this a million times, but makes you feel like you are the only wedding that is going on. He is very helpful in tailoring your own experience. We loved working with him!!! We would grab a beer with him any day. He also has great recommendations for other vendors.
Ambiance: The grounds are stunning. No doubt. Our photographer literally gave us a discount because they wanted to shoot there.
Food: AMAZING!!! BEST WEDDING FOOD EVER!! My husband and I fought to go back for breakfast the following day! Our guests LOVED it! SO GOOD!
Staff: Very courteous and professional.

Romantic Garden Wedding

I loved having my wedding at Sundy House. I can't help but smile when I look back at my wedding day, even though nothing went according to plan! It ended up raining on our garden wedding. Make sure you are familiar with the Plan B if it rains. Despite the setbacks (which seemed to throw most of our vendors off) it was still a magical place to be married. Our families and bridal parties were able to stay at Sundy and a few others stayed at nearby hotels. I loved that everyone was able to walk. We felt like the venue was pretty much at capacity at 110 and it was very intimate under the patio to avoid rain. I really enjoyed having the food and cake as part of the package because it meant less decisions for me! Finally, I have to thank Tom for his professionalism and hard work. Tom knows what he is doing and it was comforting to spot him working on the sidelines the day of. He was the last person my parents and I saw before walking down the aisle. I would have my wedding here again in a heartbeat!

Choosing a venue was one of the most difficult decisions we had to make for our wedding.
Sundy House is the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. We fell in love immediately. I cannot thank the staff at Sundy House enough for all their hard work and dedication. I had so many compliments on the venue and the staff from guests. Several people even said it was the best wedding they had gone to in a long time :-)
This venue doesn't need much because of the beautiful gardens throughout. Also, the lighting is perfect.

Thank you Tom for all your time and dedication. You were such a wonderful person to work with. You were so patient and addressed all of our concerns so quickly. We also want to thank Colleen for her help during the wedding too!

We were originally schedule to have our wedding on Oct 8th but a little hurricane named Matthew had other ideas. Tom and his team made the hard call 4 days before to cancel events. Although we were very disappointed that we weren't going to get married then, it was absolutely the right call for the safety of his staff and of our guests. Tom was a dream come true! His calm demeanor and obvious expertise was reassuring and welcome. But this belays his absolute warmth and humor that kept everything fun and not so serious. Hey, it's a wedding! Everything should be fun! He had exceptional attention to detail and him and his staff went above and beyond to help us get ready on the day (take two was on Jan 21st). We had not worries at all. He clearly love what he does. The Sundy House is an unimaginably beautiful location for a wedding and no event was too small to receive top-notch service. We had 28 people by the pond for an 11am ceremony and people were just in awe. Many South Florida residents didn't even know it was there! The scenery and the indoor rooms really didn't need much decoration. The food was well prepared and very flavorful (we had the yellow tail snapper and the NY strip). The bartender was a fun part of the experience. My now-husband asked me a few times if we should cut the cake. I didn't want to because that's usually the time people leave. I didn't want it to end! About the rooms, OMG, you can't go wrong. To all you brides, get the honeymoon suite called Royal Poinciana. It's an adorable cottage with full kitchen, living room, huge luxurious bedroom, 2 baths and plenty of room for all the people you'll have coming and going. If I could, I would do this every weekend! Thanks to the Sundy House, Tom and all the friendly staff!

The Sundy House was the perfect setting for our intimate wedding (50 guests). It was beautiful and provided a gorgeous backdrop for our first look, bridal party and family photographs. The staff was Amazing; especially Tom Rasmussen (event planning coordinator) who took care of our special requests and needs and Miriam Flores (Front Desk Manager) who made sure our friends and relatives received the best deals and room placement. The food was amazing and everyone was courteous and helpful. On the day of my wedding I was surround by family and friends and the center of the Universe! Tom made sure all my wishes came to fruition and it was truly the dream wedding I waited for all of my life!

Not only is this venue beautiful, but the people there are amazing. Tom (the wedding organizer) is fantastic and was always prompt about returning emails and phone calls. He had everything moving flawlessly the day of our wedding. The banquet manager and servers were also fantastic. They made sure we had hors d'ourves during the photos and drinks during the reception (even though we were constantly moving around and hardly had time to sit down at all).

Couldn't have asked for a better venue, better food, better people, or a better team to help ensure our wedding was as perfect as it could be under the circumstances we faced leading up to our wedding. You always want to feel comfortable with your vendors for a life changing event, and with Tom (Event Director), Marco (GM), David (Banquet Captain) and team there was never a question that they were there to make our day the best it could possibly be. Especially, when we had a medical emergency in the family the day before our wedding. I won't go into detail out of respect for privacy, but know this; if you use the Sundy House for your venue and catering, you are getting the best you can get. The compassion and empathy we were shown cannot be quantified with any dollar amount and my wife and I will forever be grateful that we had our wedding at The Sundy House.

When searching for the perfect wedding venue, my husband and I came across Sundy House online and were interested right away because of the uniqueness and beauty of it. We wanted an ethereal, truly magical experience for our 43 guests, who would all be travelling from out of town, and when we went to visit the Sundy House, we knew right away that it would be the perfect place for creating that experience. Tom, the wedding coordinator was very helpful and patient in answering all of our questions, and David, the banquet manager, put me at ease that they would handle all of the logistics of the day. Well, the day of the wedding was an absolute dream! Everything went smoothly, and my groom and I were treated like a king and queen. We had our very own waiter that made sure we always had refreshments, and even brought over iced hand towels that we could use to cool off while taking photos (even though it was November, it was very warm out). I loved that they took care of things that I would have had to delegate to family/friends if I had chosen a different venue; like making sure the gifts were safely placed in my honeymoon suite, packaging up the remainder of the wedding cake and placing it in the refrigerator in my honeymoon suite, lighting the candles of the centerpieces before the reception, and so much more! And to top it off, the downtown Delray Beach area is clean and beautiful- many of our guests took the trolley to walk around downtown and to the beach, which was only 5 minutes away. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a unique venue in a great area!

Tom, at Sundy House, did a fantastic job in ensuring that our wedding was exactly how I had envisioned it. I live in Tampa, but he made it so much easier to get things done whether it be over the phone or by being flexible enough to work with my schedule and meet in person. He does his job very well and I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone, not only for the wonderful job he did, but the venue is absolutely stunning. I encourage you to check it out..and try to food!! :)

The Sundy House was the PERFECT venue for our special day. We made what I feel was the most amazing decision to drastically reduce the size of our wedding to make it more intimate. We were looking for a unique venue that gave me a sense of home (I'm from Zimbabwe). Their exquisite botanical gardens and exotic foliage was the perfect backdrop. Additionally the Sundy House itself is completely unique with one-of-a-kind décor. Our guests loved it. The cocktail hour by their beautiful pool and then our reception in the Mediterranean room that opens up into their gardens, plus the gazebos that showcased our cake were exquisite. However, I must point out Tom Rasmussen who was in charge of catering/events. He was a consummate professional. Very timely in his emails, throughout the process. Clear, patient and efficient. All his vendor recommendations on point and we used his cake and planner recommendation - both of whom were phenomenal. However it was Tom's face-to-face that I really appreciated. We had to change rooms the day prior due to concern for rain. I was anxious about making such a big change at the last minute. He was patient, kind and so encouraging. He put a smile on my face. He and his team executed our cocktail hour and receptions FLAWLESSLY. The fool was phenomenal and our guests were all very happy. Thank you for making our special day even more special!

Tom and the Sundy House team gave us our dream wedding! The venue space was perfect for our intimate, but fun, group of 52. Throughout the entire planning process Tom was very responsive and helpful with every detail. On the day we did get rained out of the outdoor ceremony space we had planned, and while that was unfortunate, we (and all our guests) ended up very much appreciating the A/C on our August 1st wedding. The food was just amazing, some of the best wedding food out there we've been told! This is something that sold us on the Sundy House, especially after our tasting session. From the natural beauty of the grounds to the care-free planning packages, the Sundy House was perfect for us as an out-of-town couple. We spent the night in the bridal suite, which I strongly recommend to any couple. It made the night that much more relaxing not having to worry about transportation here or there, and we got to enjoy the fabulous Sunday Brunch they offer the next day!

Michael and I were married in a chapel in Boca Raton and had our reception at the Sundy House in Delray Beach, FL. The venue was just fabulous! Everything about our reception was perfect. We had a small wedding and reception with only about 30 people. Tom Rasmussen, the event coordinator was wonderful. His laid-back but professional demeanor was perfect for us. The room location and layout was beautiful, overlooking their lush garden with a pond. The food was fabulous! The DJ Tom recommended (DJ Innovations) went above and beyond our expectations.

When looking for a venue for our reception, my sister and I visited about 10 different places. We knew right when we walked in that the Sundy House was for us. It not only was the most beautiful, it was also within our budget when so many places in this area were not. So much charm and elegance here with employees who really care about how your reception goes. We've gotten so many comments from our guests at how wonderful the wedding and reception were. I'm still smiling!

I was unsure if I needed to write a review for Sundy House because it seems to sell itself. However, I had such a great experience that I decided to write a little something.

The Sundy House is the most amazing venue for a wedding. The setting is so beautiful you don't even need to decorate, they provide a lot of services that usually require outside vendors and the staff is great to work with.

It's important to have an event planner at your venue site that is easy to work with. Tom at the Sundy House made my planning process so easy and enjoyable. He is efficient. reliable, good at correspondence and, most importantly, easy going. I never felt stressed out with Tom.

There are so many more things I could write but you just need visit and you'll fall in love. I highly recommend this site for your venue.

The Sundy House exceeded our expectations. We cannot relay enough how happy we are with how everything turned out. We did not have any doubts but to see it all come together flawlessly is the most amazing feeling. We have received nothing but wonderful comments from our guests regarding the venue & food and some are planning returning for dinner at the restaurant.

The venue, the food, the bar tenders, the servers, the coordinator...everything and everyone was absolutely perfect. If there was something that did not go without a hitch, my now husband and I have no idea. If we had to choose one thing we would change about the evening we would say absolutely nothing. The coordinator, Tom, was just the best. He helped me with all my questions and during our rehearsal was very patient and kind. Our wedding party consisted of little kids because we wanted to try something fun and different. He worked with all the kids very well.

The combination of a beautiful venue, a great chef, and a great coordinator made for the dream garden wedding...our dream garden wedding :)

An outstanding venue and an outstanding experience! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone for any special occasion or wedding! I can't say enough about the Sundy House and everything they did for us. The day was flawless and the personal service we received cannot be matched. David A was our personal assistant for the wedding and evening and catered to my every need. Even the next day at the brunch, he was there for me. Tom R as our coordinator went above and beyond for me also. The Sundy House grounds are beautiful and I highly recommend it. If I could give more stars I would. I can't wait to go back again and enjoy the setting again.

We LOVED our wedding. We couldn't have been happier with the Sundy House. My family and friends stayed on property the night before and the night of our wedding and it was sincerely the best weekend of my life. Ive had nothing but compliments on every aspect of our stay and the wedding. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well maintained. Tom our coordinator was absolutely fantastic. He always had a smile on his face and was with me every step of the way. On my wedding day, I was totally pampered by everyone. And I was so delighted with David who introduced himself right after our ceremony and was by my side the entire night to cater to anything I wanted or needed. He made sure I ate, brought me hot food 3 times after I walked away from my table and I always had a cold glass of champagne in my hand! One of the reasons I chose Sundy House was because my friends and I are "foodies" and Ive had so many compliments on the food. I can't say enough good about this place. My husband, who became a fan of the show 4 Weddings, says if we'd been on it, we'd surely have won! It was truly a magical weekend :)

The Sundy House was an absolute perfect setting for our wedding. Tom Rassmussen, the catering coordinator, was so helpful in answering all of our questions and walking us through the entire process. He was fun to work with and took care of many things for me, making my job as busy bride much easier!
The tropical setting is one of a kind and we've gotten so many compliments on how beautiful our wedding was. The food was also amazing, and all the waiters, waitresses and attendants that were there for the reception were extremely helpful, friendly and professional.
We also stayed in a suite the night before our wedding, so that we could get ready there the morning of. The suite was beautiful and provided plenty of "getting ready" space for both of us and our wedding party and family.

Beautiful setting for a wedding!! We had our wedding here end of Jan and the ambience and atmosphere was very romantic, intimate, and elegant. We felt like we were in our own world. Our guests would not stop talking about how much they enjoyed themselves and how gorgeous the scenary was. I couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate one of the most important days of my life. Tom, our coordinator was also very professional and on top of every detail. The whole event from ceremony to reception went so smoothly and perfectly. The staff (servers, bartenders) were also very attentive and professional. Beautiful, beautiful place. Would definitely recommend this place for a wedding or any other event!!

Tom is the wedding coordinator at the Sundy House and he went above and beyond what my expectations were! He is there for you from the time you put a deposit down until you are about to cut the cake the day of! We had our ceremony/cocktail hour outside by the Cenote pools and our reception in the Mediterranean Room, which was beautiful. And even though it was September in Florida (which is always HOT) the Sundy House is so shaded by the garden that it was cooler than expected. When guests arrive, there are people to escort them through the garden and into the ceremony area. The Sundy House has 11 rooms on the site, so we stayed there the whole weekend, which made it easier to transport decorations and have a place for all of the girls to get ready. The rooms are all unique and amazing; they are like little town homes that over look the garden The food at the Sundy House is phenomenal!!! During my reception, (yes, during the wedding) I had to force myself to stop talking to guests and try the Grouper because soo many people were raving about how great the Grouper was!! And, it was amazing, so I'm glad I got to try it! And the prime rib with horseradish sauce was also to die for!!! This is all around an amazing, secret place that not many are even aware of. So many of my guests came up to me and said, "wow, this is the MOST beautiful location for a wedding! I didn't even know this was here in Delray!" The only thing I would say that was kind of a hassle was the timing they allow for decorations. Unfortunately, since the Sundy House is a popular place for not only weddings, but also baby showers, etc. They often have other events planned that end only a few hours before your wedding begins. Thus, little time to hang lanterns, etc. Everything got done in time, but I can tell you that you must have a lot of people willing to help out. I even had to go hang lanterns right before my hair/makeup was being done, but I didn't mind too much. Overall... GREAT PLACE!!!!!!!!!

Sundy House exceeded our expectations for our wedding!!! It was the MOST BEAUTIFUL venue & all of our guests cannot stop talking about how great the service & food were!!! We LOVED every minute of our day & cannot thank them enough! We would like to send a special shout out to Tom-the wedding coordinator, Karen (assistant with Tom), Mariska our awesome bartender & Michael who made sure we got everything back to our room when the event was over. We had our wedding at the Sundy House on November 12,2011. It was a magical night that will never be forgotten. We were so happy that we chose the Sundy House as our venue.

We had the best wedding coordinator which contributed to the success of the night. Tom Rasmussen truly knows what he is doing and was on top of every aspect of the evening. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to the reception, it was all spot on.

The food is amazing and all our guests were raving about how good their meal was. The filet and sea bass were a big hit!

I highly recommend the Sundy House for your wedding in South Florida.

What can I say, we were so impressed! Everything was perfect. Sundy House went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. On your wedding day, attention to detail means everything. The food was delicious, the staff was superb, and the venue was perfection. I couldn't have had for a more perfect place to marry the man I love.

From the moment I stepped on to the property, I knew The Sundy House was the venue for me. However, I could have never dreamed how unforgettable our day would be, due to the efforts of the fabulous staff. AJ and Anayda are true professionals who clearly have a passion for what they do and the determination to make each special occasion at The Sundy House perfect. The Sundy House is such a beautiful and unique setting - it's the perfect place to get married. All our guests were blown away by it. The staff who helped us plan were attentive, thorough and had great ideas for us. The staff who worked the event from the manager to the valet parkers were helpful and really friendly. The food was great, everyone was served on time, at the same time, and everything went just as we had hoped. We couldn't recommend it more.

We picked the Sundy House for our wedding on 1/28/17. As soon as we did the initial property walk through with Tom, we were in love with the venue and knew we could not have our wedding anywhere else. This is the most gorgeous, unique, historic venue ever and our wedding was amazing. We had our ceremony on the lawn, cocktail hour by the ponds and we did a 3/4 property buyout for our wedding of 110. The venue was a bit small for our party size, but we made it work. I would say under 100 people is more ideal for this venue. The food was PHENOMENAL, everyone loved it and so did we. The staff was amazing, so helpful, and professional. Tom was there for most of the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly and it was easy for him and our wedding planner to coordinate throughout the weeks leading up to the wedding and the day-of. The staff left plates for us at the cottage on site when we got back at the end of the evening as well. The location was perfect, the cottage was beautiful to stay on site, overall we loved it. If you have a larger budget and 100 people or less, I would definitely look at this venue.

Beautiful venue. We did a daytime wedding in the middle of summer. The menu was expertly catered toward summertime by Tom (event director) and his crew and managed to creatively meet our low budget making guests feel that no corners were cut. We had our ceremony in the gazebo which was gorgeous and also provided ample shade to keep us and the guests cool despite the heat and humidity. It poured rain up until five minutes before the ceremony and Tom was ready to move to the also beautiful indoor backup plan if necessary. Fortunately the rain stopped and we were able to stay outside.
The garden made for some of the best wedding photos I've even seen. Between the tropical trees and plants, as well as the pond and streams, the photographer was able to use the most of her skills.
We stayed in the honeymoon cottage on site which made for a wonderful prep and storage area as well as a nice getaway after the reception.
**Beautiful venue, great service, expansive and tasty menu, the guests absolutely loved it, the inn was fun and useful.**

My daughter and I looked everywhere trying to choose a venue for her wedding of 80 guests. She knew she did not want to be in a hotel ballroom environment and wanted a certain outdoor element. We both fell in love with Sundy House on our first visit! Between the beautiful gardens, 5 star restaurant and all the ambiance and charm you could stand, we knew we had found the place! All of our guests are still raving about the wedding and how much they loved Sundy House. For many it was a first visit and now they want to return to experience the restaurant and also to stay on property for a weekend getaway. The prices are so reasonable too! We priced out quite a few places and found this location gave you the most "bang for your buck"! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for charming intimate venue to check this place out!

I can't say enough about the Sundy House!! The place speaks for itself. It's just SO beautiful and so different. Tom and Eric where so helpful and always there to answer any questions leading up to the wedding. Tom was there the day of the wedding and was always there when I needed him. The wait staff, WOW, they were always on point, always there asking my husband and I if we needed anything. My guest all said that they were so good, always there if they needed a drink, an extra napkin, whatever they needed the wait staff was there to help. My dress was so heavy and I love to dance so I was dancing up a storm but also sweating like crazy. I kept stopping to cool off and out of no where the bartender brings me a super cold wet napkin to cool off with. She was a life saver and I never even had to ask her for it. She did this a few times through the night. My husband and i never got to eat our wedding cake but he was determine that we eat it. We were about to carry it to our room and the wait staff stopped us and said no worries, just go to your room and we'll bring it. I SO recommend the Sunday House!! Not only for its beauty and how original the place is but also because of the people that work there and help you with your special day!!

We looked at wedding venues all around central and south Florida before deciding on the Sundy House. We had our ceremony on the grass by the pool, and our reception was in the Mediterranean Room, which worked out well for ~60 guests. AJ, our wedding coordinator, was extremely responsive and really helped us tailor everything to our tastes. On the wedding day, everything went smoothly and without a hitch. The venue is towards the pricier end for Florida but I think you get what you pay for - the service, the food, the setting were all really spectacular. We were really happy with how it all turned out. The one caveat for brides is that this venue is REALLY popular so be prepared for the possibility that there will be multiple weddings that weekend and possibly even multiple weddings the same night (luckily didn't happen to us, but we saw it happen a couple times when we were in town for the wedding planning process).

The Sundy House is a PERFECT venue for an elegant, intimate wedding (100 people max).
A gorgeous garden setting so your tables don't need a lot of dressing up. You get what you pay for here. The food was SPECTACULAR and because it was a Sunday Brunch wedding, the price was right and the food was unlimited. Our guests were so happy, it made our day extra special. The staff is very professional and tended to our every need. Warning: make your bookings EARLY. There were 4 other weddings there the same weekend as ours and we were able to secure the honeymoon cottage for our wedding night and rooms for our guests because we booked early.
We highly recommend this venue and look forward to going back every year for anniversaries.

The Sundy House is a beautiful and breathtaking wedding and reception value. It's pretty small so dont expect to have a 300 guest wedding, our total headcount was under 60. Their event staff is so professional, sincere, and extremely capable. Dealing with them went very smoothly very nearly without any problems. The food for the catering had a very comprehensive menu to choose from, and every single one of the items we chose came out well plated and incredibly delicious. The cake is included in their price and provided by Sweet Art by Lucia, who are equally fantastic. The linens, and dishes were also included in our package, and look very nice. Be aware that they are a very small "boutique" style inn, if you're planning on spending your wedding night or booking the night before be sure there's availability before signing anything. We had to go elsewhere for our wedding night, but that was out of their control, they were fully booked from the other 2 weddings taking place on that very same weekend. In the end we were very happy with everything, and the guests were pretty much amazed. I would recommend them for a small intimate wedding to anybody in the greater South FL area.

Beautiful wedding venue!

Every single photo we have, day and night is beautiful. There is not a bad view anywhere.
Service, food and botanical garden are all amazing. We are so happy we chose the Sundy House for our wedding.

The Sundy House was a phenomenal place to have a wedding! While it was a little expensive, it was completely worth it. The location is gorgeous and completely unique for south Florida. I would highly recommend it to anyone! The staff were incredibly helpful and professional. Everything I asked them to do was done to a "T" and I was completely happy with the whole event.

We had our celebratory lunch at the Sundy house after our ceremony at our church. The food and service were both fantastic! Our entire experience was great. The only small thing to change.... They booked another wedding immediately after our lunch, which meant we didn't have time to linger around.

The first time I saw the Sundy House, I knew that this was where I wanted to get married! This place is a tropical paradise. The Taru Gardens was such a perfect and romantic setting for our Sunday morning ceremony. We had brunch immediately following. The food was delicious. The service was great! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect and amazing wedding! :)

We held a birthday celebration here last week for a group of 40 people. I worked with Jenny (event coordinator) for the 2 months leading up to the event on all the details. She was great: very organized, professional, and friendly. The actual event was also wonderful. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the flow of the daywas great, thanks to their friendly staff. The food was good but the portions were on the small side and a bit overpriced. We had paid for unlimited mimosas for an allotted time frame but I was not explained that the guests could continue ordering drinks after this time frame which would be charged a la carte. The unlimited drinks were supposed to end 30 min before the end of the event, however the servers continued to take drink orders and keeping tab to charge us later. No one was notified, they just seamlessly continued to bring drinks around. I looked for the event coordinator (which was someone new, Jenny stopped working there just a day or so before my event) towards the end of the event to tip him (on top of the mandatory included tip) and the wait staff but he, Dimitri, was no where to be found. I saw a $600+ charge on my card later that day (on top of the $3k we spend on food and unlimited drinks) and received no type of notification on the reason why. When I reached out to Jenny, I was told she doesn't work there anymore and the charge was for a la carte drinks. This was not on the contract nor was I notified as it was happening or explained how it would work beforehand. I'm hoping they will at least refund a partial amount but I am not holding my breath. Beautiful place but be very weary to avoid outrageous charges.

This venue is gorgeous but be weary! Everything was great during our tasting, food was great presentation was great! The day of the wedding to my surprise they switched out the boneless chicken breast to a bone in chicken and then claimed that they gave me an "upgrade" ... yea ok!- it was not an upgrade! I was very clear during the tasting when i had the choice between the two that i did not want my guests to be eating off the bone. (It was also detailed on the contract) I was at the venue two days before for the rehearsal and wasn't told anything about the change. They didn't even mention anything during the wedding i had to ask why the chicken dinner was different once it came out. The steak was amazing though!. Then the cake came out.... HORRIBLE!!! I have never had such a bad piece of cake in my life- it tasted like it was frozen for centuries. I couldn't even save the top layer because it was sooo horrible and dry. Mind you the cake we tasted during the tasting months before was amazing it was moist and rich and tasted nothing like what we got the day of the wedding. This place is gorgeous but be weary of the surprises. Besides the food issues i wasn't completely happy with the coordination of the pre-ceremony and ceremony.; Guests were confused, staff was sending guests to the wrong areas, it was a mess.
