Obsessed with my wedding make up

We worked with Christina to do make up on our wedding day for the bride (me) and the women in our wedding party, including bridesmaids and mothers. I've had poor experiences with make up artists and makeovers in the past, so I was quite particular with who I was looking for. Now that we're a week out from our wedding, I can confidently tell you that you will not regret working with Christina for your wedding or any other special event. From the make up trial to the wedding day, it was such a pleasure working with her. She made me feel instantly comfortable, and the make up was flawless. She reflected exactly the style I was looking for, making me look glamorous but still like myself at the same time. Even my mom raved about her makeup all weekend. And even though I cried (tears of joy) the whole day, my make up lasted well into the event. Thank you, Christina!

Christina will make you glow!

Christina will not only make you feel beautiful as the bride, but will also make your wedding party and moms feel beautiful.

She was very helpful when I asked for her opinion and gave me helpful feedback through her recommendations. She made me feel comfortable and confident.

As one of my bridesmaids told me with glee, "She listened to me!"--Christina will note what you ask for and make it come to life. In the past, this bridesmaid told me that no other make-up artist listened to what she asked for and always just went with what they thought was best.

My make-up did not feel heavy and did not move until I removed it at the end of the night (even with a bit of rain that day). I selected the traditional makeup style, soft glam.

Christina is also very kind to chat with. She made my mom feel comfortable, as my mom chatted her up while getting her makeup done--thanks again Christina for making her feel comfortable.

So grateful to have her on my big day!

Getting married across the country in a place I’m not familiar with was pretty stressful, but luckily Christina came as a recommendation from a family member. She was so accommodating and took care of us so well. She listened to what I wanted, made me feel beautiful, helped with my veil, and even went above and beyond to help pickup my mother when we hit some logistic snafus. Overall, I am so glad I went with Christina and would highly recommend her to anyone for their big day!

Overall amazing

Christina is absolutely phenomenal. She's quick, responsive, incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly and kind. I am a tom-boy. I hate make-up and getting dressed up so all of this was out of the ordinary for me. I relayed my concerns and my lack of knowledge and she worked her magic. She glammed up enough that I didn't feel like I was caked, but felt absolutely beautiful. I also had gorgeous bridesmaids so I was concerned that they would over glam me- Christina made sure that would not happen. She was also aware of the weather and the potential perspiration that would take place. She asked if I was a crier (which I responded yes). She also told me what skincare products to apply and not to apply leading up to the wedding. She asked questions that showed that she is very experienced in the field. She was very quick and responsive to all communication. She works quick and efficient. I would recommend Christina to anyone.

The very best!

I'm so glad I was able to hire Christina for my wedding makeup in the busy month of April! She is not only reliable and professional, but also kind and easygoing - a huge plus the morning of! Communication with her was a non-issue all throughout planning, pricing is transparent from the beginning, her punctuality made my timeline the morning of a breeze, and most importantly, the makeup holds all throughout the day! A Beautiful Experience

Christina's makeup artistry skills are second to none. The bridal party looked beautiful and our pictures turned out perfect in part due to how amazing our makeup all looked. Fantastic!

Suhreal Artistry, Christina, was great! I loved how my make up turned out on my wedding day. Christina is very personable and easy to talk to especially when you have all types of nerves on your big day. She is really awesome in what she does, and definitely has no problems with hearing your wants in how you want your makeup done. I don't wear makeup often, but I wish I could have her do my make up everyday! Definitely highly recommended!

I absolutely loved Christina's service, artistry, creativity, and professionalism. On my wedding day, Christina and her assistant went through a total of 7 people including my husband and myself and was able to finish on time. Makeup was flawless and held up perfectly throughout the night. Mind you, my wedding was in a barn on a hot and humid day! I had my makeup on for 10+ hours and it still looked fresh at the end of the night!

In terms of style, she is able to cater to YOUR needs and wants. I was very particular in that I didn't want a heavy look as a bride but definitely wanted to enhance some features enough to look good in photos. She was able to execute just that and then some. As a bonus, the products she used on me were amazing.

She is very available and responsive through emails and is always willing to answer any questions you might have. Very thorough! I knew I was in good hands as soon as I had my makeup trial with her! She's the best MUA in the DC metropolitan area! Christinia is definitely worth your while if you are in need of a wedding day MUA. Take my word and book her as soon as you can!

I saw Christina's makeup services on several of my other friends' weddings and I knew I had to hire her for my engagement photos and wedding day. For my engagement, I went to her studio for my makeup so I would not have to pay a travel fee. For my wedding day I paid the travel fee, she came with an assistant promptly on time to start makeup for myself, my mom, my husband's mom and my four bridesmaids.

Her assistant prepped everyone for makeup and Christina applied the makeup. She is very professional and knowledgeable, she explained what she was doing and how it would be good for photos. I was nervous as she was applying all of the makeup as I was not used to wearing so much makeup, but once I looked in the mirror I loved how I looked. Christina listened to my request of a more natural look, while still being glamorous enough for my engagement pictures/wedding. She really made me feel comfortable and well taken care of, my moms and all of the bridesmaids loved her!

After she completed everyone's makeup, she stayed around a bit to do touch ups and make sure we were good to go for the day. I am a crier and definitely cried at my wedding, I was amazed at how well my makeup held up through the entire day. I highly recommend Suhreal Artistry if you are looking for a makeup artist, you will not be disappointed!

Christina was awesome for our wedding. I was handling the scheduling and the contract while my fiance was overseas and she was so understanding and accommodating. We booked her a year in advanced for a popular date and it was a good decision because throughout the year, she took time to give us advice - through email - on what would look good and what would work well - especially for photos.

When we went in for the trial, she was constantly giving advice and expressed willingness to change according to my fiance's everchanging wants/needs for the big day. I felt bad, but Christina accommodated with a smile. I truly thank her for that. Even on the big day, my fiance changed her mind again - not too much I hope - and Christina told me that she thinks she looked even better - still with a smile. She was on time at the location and worked efficiently to make sure we would be able to take our first look photos before the ceremony. The scheduling was tight, but she still managed to do it!

As for the groom - me, I only had oil-control and a quick touch-up, but I received so many compliments at my wedding about how great my skin looks. No one could tell I was wearing make-up. Also, I liked how I looked in photos.

Through and through, I am very thankful for Christina's service and her skills as a make-up artist. I highly recommend her for your make-up needs.

Really enjoyed working with Christina. I'm not really good with makeup and have had such bad experiences with other artists, I was really apprehensive about it for my wedding. But Christina came recommended from two other brides, and she made me feel at ease, was so nice and supportive, and helped me to achieve a beautiful look for my wedding. She worked wonders when it came to the eyelashes and contouring of my nose (who needs a nose job when you've got makeup apparently). Was such a pleasant and positive experience from start to finish.

I am so happy Christina did my makeup for my wedding. Christina was always such a professional, so helpful and kind throughout the whole wedding process. She took time to schedule several trials for me and answered any questions I had prior to the wedding. I also always had so much fun with her whenever I saw her because she was so laid back and easy to get along with.

On the day of the wedding, Christina was such a calming force. She was so flexible and accommodating to all of my bridal party's different requests. We had various different looks requested from full glamour to natural looks, and she perfected every single look. My mom, who is very hard to impress, could not get over how great we all looked. My bridal party also could not stop raving about her - I am pretty sure they wanted her to come everywhere with us!

I have never felt more beautiful in my life. Although I am not proud of it, I got a litttttle bit drunk the night of the wedding and fell asleep with my makeup on, but I woke up with my makeup perfectly still intact without even a slight smudge (amazing!). I can truly say that any bride that gets to work with Christina is very lucky. She is extremely talented and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I cannot wait to work with her again!

Christina did a fantastic job with all of our wedding makeup, including mine, my bridesmaids and my mother and mother-in-law's. She made everyone look beautiful. I have oily skin and was worried that my makeup would wear off towards the middle of the day; however, my makeup stayed on all night, through all the pictures and dancing!
Christina was extremely friendly and took the time to listen to what I wanted in my wedding makeup. She was very flexible with the times for the makeup trial. It was also very easy to communicate with her a she readily answered my texts and emails. I highly recommend Christina for a makeup artist! She made me feel beautiful!

Christina was extremely flexible and accommodating. She was able to work with a last minute change in my appointment for the engagement shoot, and she got to the venue crazy early to do everyone's makeup. (For the engagement session, she even helped me fix up my DIY hair!) The makeup for both days came out gorgeous - everyone raved about how it looked great but still like "me". On the wedding day, she did it all again. She was professional, sweet, easy to talk to, and (most of all) did some of the best work I have ever seen. Even my sister was happy with her final look, and leading up to the wedding, she was very worried that her problem skin would be difficult to handle. Thank you, Christina!!

Christina did my wedding day makeup for me and several of my bridesmaids. I was very happy with how everything turned out, and she was super accommodating to my very specific desires. She was really understanding of my comfort level-I was not comfortable with heavy makeup, despite the pressure from friends to go heavy on the makeup-it's just a personal taste for natural-looking makeup. Christina was very sweet and professional and listened and understood what I wanted. Christina (+ her assistant) did such an amazing job on my make up for my wedding, I honestly could not be any more satisfied with it! I loved my trial and didn't think it was any more possible to beautify me more than that, but she somehow managed to do so =) She also did the makeup for all my bridemaids (5) and my mom. I've been in a handful of weddings and the norm is that not everyone is happy with their make up. All of my BM's were so happy + impressed by Christina, it honestly was a first! I got so many compliments throughout the night and I love how I turned out in my pictures. I was afraid that it would be too heavy, especially since I dont wear too much make up on a daily basis, but I still felt so comfortable in it. Christina is so chill and easy to work/talk with, her prices are very reasonable, and shes incredibly flexible (had so many last minute changes/mishaps that she was so accommodating). I 100000% recommend, Christina!

Christina was really accommodating and responsive! She took the time to explain the makeup she uses during the makeup trial and made sure I was happy with my look. Even though her assistant was sick and had to leave the morning of the wedding, Christina was able to stay on schedule and get our whole bridal party's make up done. TL;DR: I am extremely picky about my makeup. Christina did an amazing job and I could not be happier with the end result. Absolutely zero hassle but stunning results!

During the trial, we went over my skin type, usual makeup style, and all the little quirks that only you would notice about your face. She took everything into consideration and we decided on what we would do for the wedding. On the day of, Christina was incredibly organized, efficient, and speedy, without sacrificing quality. She remembered all the things we discussed during the trial (which was 7 months before the wedding). She did our entire bridal party and everyone looked beautiful. Her signature style is perfect for weddings - smoky and good for photos, but not overdone. She can cover up any blemish and the makeup held perfectly over the whole day. I highly recommend Christina. If you managed to come across her information in your search and she has your day open, book her fast :)

I booked Christina for my wedding and would HIGHLY recommend her services! I needed a MUA that was able to work with Asian features and Christina was perfect for me! She did my makeup along with my mom, sister and one of my bridesmaids (all asian). She had really good range--I wanted a more dramatic look while my mom wanted very light makeup--everyone's makeup turned out beautifully and we got SO many compliments from my guests and even people who were not at the wedding but saw photos online! I could not have been happier with the way my makeup looked and I really appreciated that Christina took the time to listen to what I wanted and offering her opinion/advice at the same time! She did an amazing job enhancing my features so I ended up looking like the best version of myself! She was also sooo nice and easy to talk to! We chatted the whole time she was doing my makeup! Christina really knows makeup and helped me and my girls look great on my wedding day! From the beginning, Christina was very responsive to my questions and concerns. I also booked her for my engagement shoot and she did such a great job that she won my trust immediately and I skipped the wedding trial! Her studio, where my engagement make-up was done, is a girl’s dream! She is a very skilled makeup artist and very knowledgeable of the makeup products she uses.
On the day of the wedding, she worked with the hairstylist to ensure we had enough time for hair and makeup. She is a very sweet natured person and was willing to accommodate any personal requests. Christina gave her personal attention to each girl and ensured they were comfortable before, during, and after their makeup application. My makeup never looked so good and my girls felt the same way! My mom was very apprehensive of getting her makeup done, but Christina eased her fears and my mom looked amazing! She even gave us some makeup tips along the way! I highly recommend Christina for your engagement shoot and wedding day! I was an out of town bride so I really relied on these reviews to help me. She also can do airbrush which helps keeps your makeup in place all day! My wedding day had challenging weather (record low weather since 1997 and 35 mph winds), and my bridesmaids were astonished at how well my makeup stayed in place all night. I have very combination skin (some parts dry and some parts oily) but the makeup held without lifting or caking. Also, I think overall she keeps the look very clean and natural looking so it's just a beautiful glammed up version of yourself, instead of looking like a completely different person. She has a lot of experience, so she knows how to balance the makeup to look good in photos and in person. She was prompt, responsive, professional, and overall a very sweet person to work with!

Christina was extremely professional, but also very personable. The day of my wedding, she was extremely punctual and helped me feel at ease on my big day. I had no worries with her because I had done my engagement photoshoot make-up with her as well and she did an excellent job. One quality that sets her apart is her ability to make people look very good especially for photos. I had her do my make-up, my bridesmaids, and my mother and mother-in-law's make-up. I absolutely loved Christina. I can be picky and particular about my makeup, but Christina did not disappoint on my wedding day. I would not have changed a single thing about my makeup. I felt flawless, and my makeup was in tact all day and night. My bridesmaids all loved their look as well. What's even better is that Christina is such a sweetheart and listens to any concerns you have and puts you at ease. She's amazing :)

I have seriously never felt so beautiful than I did on my wedding day (as it should be). Christina is truly an artist, and really works with you to capture the look that you want. I was very lucky- soon after I emailed her to inquire, two others reached out to her for the same wedding date as well. However, she gave me the courtesy of letting me know that others were interested and she gives it to whoever books the date first. LESSON LEARNED: she is highly sought after, so do not wait! I seriously fell in love with Christina and her work at the trial. We spent nearly 2 hours perfecting the look I wanted, and she did such a good job balancing listening to what I wanted, and giving advice without being pushy. She was very prompt on the wedding day and was able to get through me and 6 other bridesmaids. All the girls looked absolutely stunning and I am SO glad that I used Christina. She really enhanced all my bridesmaids' features, and brought out the best in all of their unique individual faces. Such a sweet, professional, and talented individual!

Ok, ok, I'll write more. Christina is very talented. Have you seen her Youtube videos? She's a true artist. She will make sure you feel and look beautiful on your wedding day. I met with Christina for my makeup trial, and loved my makeup and Christina immediately. On the day of my wedding, she made all my bridesmaids look so beautiful. I wanted a more natural look, and Christina succeeded at it. My makeup was amazing and flawless, and did not look caked on at all. She truly knows how to bring out the best features in a woman's face. Towards the end of the night, my makeup looked exactly the same. I highly recommend Christina to all future brides.

Christina did an AH-MAY-AH-ZING (amazing) job with my makeup. Not only did she turn me into a beautiful bride, I truly loved my maid of honor's makeup as well. (I am Korean and my maid of honor is Bolivian). She is definitely talented and she asks all the right questions. As long as you are honest with her about what you want and trust her talents, you will love the results. Everyone at my wedding kept repeating how beautiful I was and that Christina did an incredible job with my makeup. Not only is she talented, she is professional and definitely sweet. Whenever I had a question about something, she responded back pretty quickly and promptly, and gave detailed answers (5 stars on communication).

I did my engagement photo make-up with Christina and was so happy my friend recommended her to me. I had done another trial somewhere else and it was absolutely a disaster! So thank god I found Christina on time and it works out great. She's very responsive and listens to what I want and super easy going and friendly! Which really appreciated! Christina did my makeup for my engagement shoot as well as my wedding day and I cannot say enough good things about her and her services. She is incredibly professional, super responsive (which was important to me during the entire process), and beyond passionate and talented.

For the engagement trial, she asked the right amount of questions but didn't mire me with too many details which gave me a sense of relief because at the end of the day, she is the professional and I trusted her to do what she does best. I was so glad I booked the trial - not because I was nervous that she wouldn't do a good job, but it allowed me to see how the makeup set throughout the day and also identify a few minor adjustments for the big day.

On the morning of, she did my makeup along with 6 bridesmaids, my mom and my aunt. It was no small feat considering how each person had different preferences, skin types etc but she kept it moving along and on schedule. Everyone looked so beautiful and seemed really happy with their makeup. She made me feel like i was "done up" but still allowed my natural features to show through.

One other thing I really enjoyed about her was that she kept it very professional on the morning of. Considering it can be a stressful time for the bride and bridal party, her calm demeanor really helped make me feel like everything was taken care of. Thank you Christina!!!

I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with Christine and how my hair and make up turned out. She did my hair and make up for not only my engagement photos but also for my wedding. Christina was SO easy to work with! I was planning the wedding from abroad, and she was not only very flexible with my tight travel schedule, but was also quick to respond to emails. Setting up the trial appointment and day of schedule was seamless. Additionally, I'm a novice when it comes to makeup, and Christina was very good at recommending styles that looked great on me and the rest of my bridal party (4 ladies). On the day of the wedding, Christina also brought an assistant which made everything go even faster than scheduled.

As an Asian American woman, I felt that Christina understood my facial features and truly enhanced my natural beauty. I have worked with other makeup artists before who did not have that same understanding - making me look much older and also making me feel like I was covered up and wearing a mask. Christina does the opposite - making you beautiful while still looking like yourself. The 4 ladies in my bridal party also all had very different features, and she was able to customize their makeup to make each and every one of them look amazing. I am so happy to have chosen and worked with such a talented artist in Christina!

Christina and her team member Gloria has done a wonderful job for my wedding. I got so much compliments from guests. It's been two months since my wedding and I still hear from friends and relatives talking about how amazingly beautiful I looked on my wedding. My bridesmaids are very happy too because they too had gorgeous makeups. We look very nice in person as well as in photos.
I am so happy and feel so lucky that I have used Christina and Gloria for makeup and hair. They know what they are doing and how to make brides beautiful. I would definitely recommend Christina to any brides, especially if you are Asian. Christina really knows how to do makeups on Asians!

I booked Christina (Suhreal Makeup) nearly 18 months in advance of my May 2015 wedding knowing that makeup was a priority for me and finding an artist who would be available, flexible and within budget would be difficult. In addition, being Asian American, I knew I wanted someone who was familiar with the style of makeup that I wanted, which was a clean flawless face, dramatic eyes that were not garish and a glowing finish. As with any vendor, it is important to convey with descriptions and pictures exactly what you want - they're not mind-readers and Christina did a good job managing my expectations with professional advice. Her prices were very reasonable even though I decided not to go with her hair vendor, though it did slightly increase because of it and also included false lashes for each person if necessary. Christina was very professional, responded promptly and was very patient with me as I was on rotations for school throughout the wedding planning process and therefore unavailable for lengths of time. I also did a trial with her several months prior to the wedding and because it was for an engagement shoot, she toned down the look thus while it wasn't exactly representative of the wedding day look, she was very receptive to requests and adjustments from the trial to make the transition to the wedding day look seamless. On the day of the wedding, Christina arrived with her assistant promptly at 6:30AM and worked efficiently, completing 8 people by 1:30PM and most of all, we all looked flawless. Christina is first and foremost an artist (check out her Facebook and Instagram pages for non-wedding work - amazing!) and her work is beautiful and exceeds expectations. Second, she is a professional in all senses of the word, from the first email to her day of services and all correspondence in between. Third, she's extremely nice and a pleasure to work with! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for wedding and non-wedding makeup services.

I had a really great experience with Christina, especially for the makeup trial. The only issues I had was with a bit of breaking out afterwards and re-application of my sister's eyelashes. At first I thought I broke out because I have a nickel/cobalt allergy and it was her brushes (MAC/Sigma brushes are nickel). But I brought my own brushes for the wedding makeup and still broke out. It may be what she uses to set the makeup, I know that MAC Fix + makes me break out. For my sister, I just re-glued the eyelashes (my sister has smaller eye-lids / monolids), but they stayed on the rest of the day!

Christina was very flexible and accommodating, in addition to being very nice. She has great prices and was able to do my trial on short notice in order to work with out-of-town visitors.

She did a really good job of making the make-up look natural (for photos) because she knew how the makeup would photograph and used long-lasting makeup. My mom looked natural and my bridal party looked glammed up but not garrish. I was very picky about makeup since mono-lids are SUPER hard to do for people not used to it any my mom and sister both get red very easily. Everyone looked amazing and perfect the day-of! She even touched up some of my spray-tan that was starting to flake.

Where do I start. We all wish to look the way we feel. Christina has an uncanny, God-given talent of seeing us as we see ourselves on the inside and revealing the best versions of ourselves to the outside. And that is why I truly wish many, many more brides will come to her careful hands.

I had no sleep the night before my wedding (nerves!!), but Christina made me look effortlessly beautiful. No one knew any different. Her love and individualized attention to not just me, but for each and every person in my bridal party was just extraordinary.

Good makeup covers but great makeup uncovers. She is able to uncover your best and most beautiful you. On your wedding day, you do not want to look like anyone else but your best self.

First of all, Christina is AMAZINGGGGGGG.
Now since I have that out of the way, here is why:
1. I have super weird skin. Extremely dry, but also super oily. I have yet to find an eyeliner (pencil, liquid, gel, you name it) that actually stays on. Whether its me or the people at Sephora, I end up looking like a panda a few hours later. I shared this concern with Christina, and I don't know what kind of makeup magic she used, but my makeup, including my eyes, stayed put all day long. My bridesmaids all said the same thing. I danced my heart out at my wedding and my makeup was still perfect at the end of the night.
2. She is super flexible and responsive. I had issues with the location of getting ready the day of my wedding. I changed my location probably five times, and each time was not an issue for Christina. When I email her, she always responds within 24 hours.
3. She's fun! She talks to you and explains what she's doing. She is a fun and nice person that makes you feel comfortable while you transform into a gorgeous bride.

Overall, if I were to need any makeup done in the future, I will go straight to Christina. I know my bridesmaid will also do so. Don't hesitate!

If you were to ask me what look I was trying to look for, I would probably shrug and just say "I don't know." I had Christina do my make-up for an engagement photoshoot... she was AMAZING and very PROFESSIONAL. I was under a tight schedule and I was worried to rush her, but she was a great listener and took the cue to work both meticulously and timely. From my observations, every step was carefully timed to allow the make-up to "set-in" in a certain area before revisiting. It was scientific in a way! I would highly recommend using her for photoshoot because she knew exactly how to apply the make-up so that it would look good in pictures. The make-up she applied also lasted the entire day without a smudge or smear. I was very happy with the finished product and also the professionalism that she exhibited that helped me stay on-time for my appointment with the photographer.

Christina is an absolute magician with makeup! I couldn't believe my transformation when she was done!! She is so meticulous with how she layers everything and ends up making you look flawless without giving you a caked on look at all. Christina is fabulous! I was so lucky to have snagged this famous makeup artist/instagram darling for my wedding makeup. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing and talented Christina is! I contacted her on short notice for my wedding and luckily she had availability. I thought we wouldn't have time to squeeze in a trial session but she was very flexible and able to work with our schedules to fit me in.

During the trial session, she was comfortable to talk to and went over what she was doing at each step. She took the time to hear what I wanted and what look I was trying to achieve. The day of my wedding, she arrived exactly on time and got everyone (myself, my mother and three of my bridesmaids) in time for the photographer. She even did an extra bridesmaid that needed make up done last minute! I was in love with everyone's make up and would not have changed a thing. I received so many compliments and told everyone about Christina! Her pricing was reasonable and it was a plus that she was able to come out to our venue site. Christina is a talented makeup artist with a friendly, upbeat, and cheerful attitude. Christina did a great job on our makeup for my wedding!! She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable the whole time, especially because I'm not used to wearing so a lot of makeup.

I would recommend Suhreal Beauty (Christina Suh) to anyone looking for a makeup artist that will truly make you look gorgeous on your wedding day. She did both my makeup and my mom's and the compliments that were received were overwhleming.To say that she is skilled at what she does is an understatement. After booking a couple other makeup trials with other local makeup artists, I was left feeling disappointed and discouraged. I was almost connvinced that I should probably just do my own makeup because the results were so sub-par (with prices that were not worth the end result). After the trial with Christina, I knew right away I would regret it if I didnt book her immediately. She was very punctual and professional and took the time to explain the products she was using on me. The day of the wedding I was worried that I would end up looking tired because of all the stress and late nights from the days before (and staying up until 3am the night before) but that was all erased after Christina was done with me. I was even given the lipstick she used on me to keep for touchups during the day. I honestly felt like I had never looked so beautiful - and thats how it should be on your wedding day. Christina's prices are competitive but well worth every penny. Just overall amazing!

Good make up is very important for the wedding day because you will be taking a lot of pictures.

I would hire her for my future events for makeup and I would recommend to all my friends who are looking for a makeup artist.

Although somewhat starting out, Christina Suh was my makeup artist for my wedding day. She was completely phenomenal and extremely talented! I found her via Facebook since she has a website, and saw that all of her makeup creations were intricate and detailed. I reached out to her to do wedding makeup and discovered that she does lots of wedding makeup!

We did two trials -- the first was good but a little too heavy, and the second was just perfect, since she wanted to make sure that I was completely happy and satisfied with my wedding makeup. She even offered the second trial free -- which was completely generous and to make sure that I was happy.

She came and quickly and very confidently did my makeup as well as 3 out of 4 of my bridesmaids, applying fake eyelashes as well. We all looked super gorgeous and I couldn't stop complimenting her work. She was very relaxed which helped to create a tranquil yet excited mood for the wedding day.

I absolutely love Christina and her work and highly recommend her for any bride! She is talented, flexible, kind, and I foresee a very bright future for her as she continues to expand her makeup portfolio :)

Christina was awesome! As someone who doesn't wear makeup on a daily basis and has very sensitive skin, she made me feel so comfortable and accommodated my skin's needs. Also, my sister got their makeup done as well and everyone was asking where they got their makeup done because it was just so perfect! Christina really made me feel special on my wedding day!

I hired Christina to do my makeup on my wedding day and I could not have been more pleased with the decision. She did such an amazing job- the makeup looked amazing in photos AND in person. Christina made sure that I was comfortable with the look during the trial; I never wear full face makeup/ lashes but she made sure that it all felt good for the actual day! Christina was very flexible in that she did my mother's makeup upon last minute request. She managed to make all of the makeup for my bridesmaids (6), me, and my mother just STUNNING despite the time crunch.
All of the bridesmaids were pleased with their looks which I am so happy about ( I was worried that they wouldn't like it since we're all used to the way we-us ladies- do our own makeup). I just love how I turned out in my photos, both professional and phone quality)!! If you want a professional makeup artist who is chill, easy to talk to/work with, and who is SUPER accommodating to last minute changes, Christina is your lady! I 100% recommend Christina to all future brides.

Christina was an awesome wedding vendor. I was referred to her by a friend and was able to use her for my engagement and wedding makeup. She did a great job accommodating my needs and matching my preferences with the type of "look" I was going for. I felt like my engagement makeup was a bit too heavy for what I was originally used to so she took that into account and toned it down a lot for my wedding. I was super pleased with the way my makeup turned out for my wedding and she made me look gorgeous! It is clear that she is very professional and well-versed in makeup. She could answer any question I had about the type of effects certain makeup products would have after being applied. I felt comforted knowing that she could produce any type of look I wanted. She is also very prompt and came early enough to finish my makeup on time. Christina is definitely a knowledgeable makeup artist and a very sweet person in general. I would recommend her to anyone for their big day!

Christina was excellent all around. She offered a trial session and was flexible about meeting me in between my work appointments. She gave me clear details about prices and offered discounts for multiple faces. Christina was also super early on my wedding day. She arrived at 9 when my wedding started at noon. She allocated enough time to so each bridesmaids and myself. Most importantly, she made me gorgeous. Not once did I feel "chubby". Typically I feel like my cheeks are round and I prefer those high angle pictures to hide a double chin. She made my face chiseled and enhanced my features but I still looked like myself on my wedding day! I was pleased with every shot of myself. She really helped make my day perfect! I recommend using her for any special occasion. In fact, I may even use her for interviews and galas.

Stunning Makeup

My bridesmaids and I all loved our makeup by Christina! I would highly recommend doing a trial first since I didn't know exactly what I wanted but was able to give feedback about what I liked and what I wanted her to change after my trial. Christina made me feel really comfortable and listened to the vision I was trying to achieve for the wedding. Everyone looked fantastic and our makeup held up all night!!

Christina was the first vendor I seeked out as soon as my wedding date and venue was nailed down. She did the make-up for my sister’s wedding 4 yrs ago and we loved her work. Her make-up felt great on the skin and showed through beautifully in pictures. Very happy and satisfied with her work for my mom, sisters and myself. Great personality to work with. Christina has such expertise with makeup artistry that I can guarantee any bride will look absolutely stunning on her wedding day. I have pretty extensive knowledge about makeup and can definitely put myself together very well, but even Christina wowed me with her art. I LOVED how I looked on my wedding day and received many compliments.

My wedding happened to be on a very sunny and hot day at the end of May. I also have very oily and acnegic skin, so I'm thinking great, my makeup is going to melt right off! Not only was Christina was able to cover all my acne and blemishes, my makeup stayed put the entire day and evening even amidst taking pictures outdoors. Though I did sweat and become slightly oily as time went by (which is natural), a little blotting powder quickly fixed that and I still looked fresh in all my photos. I never once had to reapply concealer or eyeliner or fix my eyeshadow. Everything literally stayed put.

Christina is also very efficient so the overall process for me took about 45 minutes. One thing I would have to make apparent to future brides is that she does not travel to your location unless you have at least 3 additional people who need her services. Travel fee is also added ($1 per mile round trip, but the first 15 miles are free) which would be something to consider if you are requesting a location that is outside the Northern VA area where she is located.

Overall, I have to say I am quite pleased with her services and how I looked on my wedding day. I would definitely recommend her to family and friends and will most likely consider her again for future services!

Christina Suh did an amazing job for me and my bridesmaids. She was very accommodating to everyone's request in terms of makeup. All of my bridesmaids had a different look that suited their skintone and eye shape, yet all of the looks were complementary to each other. I had bridesmaids who are asian, caucasian, latin, and african american and they all looked beautiful.

Christina brought her assistant who helped prepped everyone's skin before Christina would start the makeup. I believe the makeup for each bridesmaid took about 40 minutes, whereas mine was less 1.5 hrs. I provided Christina with a time schedule and we actually finished before expected. My makeup did not budge throughout the day or night.

She's also very flexible in terms of what time you want to start the makeup services. I highly recommend Christina for your wedding day.

She was great!!! She made sure I was done by 11:00. We started early at 6:30 and was able to get through 5 ladies. I provided a sample of a make up picture, since I was not able to do a trial. Loved how she made me look so pretty on my wedding day. I would definitely recommend!

Wedding MUA

Christina was my MUA for my wedding including my mom, bridesmaids, and mother in law. Even though there were so many people she attended to, she did a fabulous job and everyone looked absolutely beautiful! Christina also took note of all the little details and made my makeup look flawless. I received compliments all night!

Where do I even begin with this girl?! HANDS DOWN, greatest decision.
I did a trial run with her, which I don't think I needed, because she was amazing. She is extremely flexible with what you want, but still puts in her honest opinion. I mean, she's the professional right? I definitely trusted her.

On the day of, she came bright and early at 7am. She worked around MY schedule completely. Every single bridesmaid and both mothers were beyond satisfied with the results. I never felt rushed since she was so precise with her time and not going over. Yes, you could try to budget here and there on your vendors, but SUHREAL is seriously worth every penny. REALLY. and umm hello! she applies lashes with her services!

I'm an emotional person. So at my wedding, you could just image the water works! But NOT ONCE did my makeup run. Not once did I look oily. I could rave about this girl. But her work, pictures, and style all speak for itself.

Christina Suh was incredibly talented, and I was floored by my make up for my wedding. She was professional, and very accommodating with my last minute changes from normal to air brushed make up, and was very professional despite time constraints in the morning. She also did my mother's and mother in law's make up and both of them looked gorgeous on the day of my wedding. I would definitely recommend her for future brides.

My only note is that she is a bit further south for anyone in northern MD it is a bit of a trip. Her ideal area of service would most likely be in the southern MD, DC, NOVA regions! I was recommended her by my wedding planner, and I was very happy with my decision to do so!
