Hiring Becky as our day of coordinator was the best thing we could have done for ourselves on our wedding day. It took away any stress because we knew she had all the tiny details covered. She tells it like it is and does her job so well. From place card advice, to asking other vendors questions you are too overwhelmed to think of, Becky is your gal! We hired Becky as our day of coordinator after she was recommended by staff at the Grand Geneva and we are so thankful that we did! Becky was a tremendous help with making our day so perfect! Every time we talked to Becky prior to our wedding, my anxiety around how the day was going to run lowered immensely. She truly has a fantastic approach in communicating and planning for the big day. She is also very professional and had no problem with commanding the room during our rehearsal! She is someone you can trust to take the reins so that you can be fully present on one of the most important days of your life. We cannot say enough how grateful we are to have had Becky on our side for our wedding! -

Booking Becky as our day of coordinator was the best decision of the whole wedding process. Becky was so professional, organized, and knew questions to ask our vendors that I wouldn't even have thought to ask! She created the perfect timeline for the day of and ran things so efficiently we were ahead of schedule which allowed us more time for dancing and mingling with our guests! Becky took my vision and helped set things up the day of along with her assistant Darcy and I never had to worry about a thing. She took everything I dreamed of and made it into reality. Anything that happened the day of Becky handled it with precision and was cool under pressure when it started raining during our outdoor wedding or when the wind was blowing our bud vases down. Her quick thinking and abilities to work on a team of vendors day of is incredible and highly professional. I can't recommend Becky enough for everything that she did. -

Becky was the most amazing day-of coordinator! She asked the questions I didn’t even think of, came up with a clear & concise timeline for every moving price, and was the liaison between me and all vendors a few weeks leading up to the day, so that on the actual day, I didn’t need to worry about a thing! She made sure everything was executed to the exact vision I had and was incredibly communicative and helpful every step of the way. I truly couldn’t have done it without her and our day was everything I dreamed of and more. I strongly recommend the ladies at Something Blue LLC for all your wedding day-of coordination needs. -

Becky from Something Blue was absolutely amazing! She was so responsive to all of my many questions leading up to the wedding and went above and beyond to make sure everything was organized on the days leading up to the event. If I had any questions about who was going to do what on the wedding day to make everything run smoothly, I knew that Becky would have the answers. She has a wealth of knowledge about and experience in running weddings, and her input was so helpful to make sure everything went according to plan! On the big day, she kept everything running smoothly and on time. She made sure decor was arranged exactly how we wanted it, and she managed the arrival of all of our other vendors. Her thoroughness ensured that no detail was overlooked, and she handled any unexpected issues with grace. I couldn't have relaxed and enjoyed the day without Becky, and the days leading up to the wedding were made far less stressful knowing that we had her support! -

Hayley was our day-of wedding planner and she was absolutely worth it...she provided more structure, guidance, and support for our wedding weekend than we even anticipated. In almost every conversation we have about our wedding from a couple weeks ago her name comes up with family and friends...even they recall how friendly and tremendous she was in making our day go incredibly smooth...from the initial timeline she help us setup...to the communication with the vendors leading up to our wedding...to the complete management and handling of clearing out our venue after the reception. We are so grateful to Hayley with Something Blue for everything she did for us in making our wedding day a success in every way. -

We had such an amazing experience working with Becky from Something Blue Lake Geneva! She is professional, detail-oriented, kind, and easy to work with. Like every wedding, there were so many moving pieces, that of course, there were a number of mishaps and things that went wrong. However, Becky made sure that we weren't even aware of them until there was already a solution in place. Something Blue was an integral piece in ensuring that mine and my now-wife's big day felt magical and stress-free. Becky and her assistant's expertise, commitment to making the bride and groom's experience as incredible as possible, and ability to think on their feet is nothing short of remarkable. I would and will recommend Something Blue Lake Geneva to anyone planning a wedding; they are worth every penny! -

Book book book!
Do yourselves a favor and book this team for your wedding day. I am a wedding photographer and know how important planners are to a wedding day. I had worked with Hayley from something blue at a wedding before and knew she would be a perfect fit. When I say she did everything perfectly, everything went perfectly. Woke up the next morning with all my things delivered to my room, cake in the fridge, and a smile on my face. You will never regret hiring them for your day! Hayley, you're amazing and we love you!!! -

Hayley was fantastic!
I cannot say enough about our great experience with Hayley from Something Blue. Planning was very stressful for us until we started working with Hayley and after just one meeting with her all of our questions were answered and everything we were worried about was addressed. Hayley’s communication was amazing! She responded quickly and always sent updated timelines throughout all of the tweaks and changes we made to our day. She even helped us get in touch with and get info from vendors that we were struggling to get a hold of. We had a bunch of candles and decor that we didn’t know exactly what we wanted to do with. Hayley took care of all the decorating and the set-up was stunning. It was such a weight off our shoulders to not have to ask our family/friends to help set up, and to not have to think through all of the design details. She brought all of our cards and gifts to our hotel room and tore down/packaged up all our decor at the end of the night. She was extremely helpful throughout the day and evening, making sure everyone knew where to go and taking care of any issues that came up. Overall, Hayley and the team at Something Blue made sure our day was flawless. It was truly the best money we spent for our big day and we still talk about how we have no idea how we would have pulled it off without Hayley. -

Choosing to work with Becky was one of the first, and best, decisions we made for our wedding! Her expertise and care was with us every step of the way. During the planning phase, she recommended great vendors and kept us on track with decision-making, payments, and all other logistics. She also had great advice on décor, bringing special touches that elevated everything. On the day of our wedding, she treated it like it was her own. Every detail was taken care of and we didn't have to worry about anything, we could completely relax and be in the moment! When people ask me for advice on planning a wedding the first thing I say is, hire a full-service wedding planner, you will NOT regret it.
Below are my reasons
1) If you and/or your partner work full-time
2) If this is your first wedding
3) If you are the first in your family to get married
4) If you are getting married at a hotel or anywhere in the hospitality industry
5) If you are not the planning or organizing type
6) If you need help with your "vision"
7) If you just need an extra set of hands, eyes, ears, or mouth

10) If you want a stress-free time planning your wedding
If ANY of the above applies to you, hire Something Blue!
Becky was my event coordinator, and she saved my life! By the end of our time together I was in tears because of how much I was going miss her. She not only helped me find vendors for the day of, but she also caught mistakes in contracts and reached out to vendors when I was unable to due to work. People in the wedding industry aren’t perfect and they make mistakes, especially when they are working with multiple brides, but Becky was on top of it ALL! Oh, and did I mention that we postponed our wedding because of COVID and Becky rescheduled every vendor to our new date and handled the contracts?!
Because of her, I was able to focus on my daily life while planning a wedding. I mean, who wouldn’t want that?!

Wedding planning is hard. Becky & Hayley guided me through out the hole process. I was not an organized Bride and Hayley helped me with that checking in phone calls/ texts/ emails. She kept me on track / helped with recommendations seeing she has a TON of experience. I cant recommend this vendor enough they were by far my favorite vendor and easiest to deal with. They even read the contracts of my other vendors to keep them aligned. You will regret not hiring this amazing planner ! -

I am so thrilled to even write this review! Something Blue Lake Geneva took my now-husband and I, a couple that had zero idea what they were even doing, and gave us a wedding beyond words. We worked closely with Hayley, one of their many talented consultants, as she took care of every detail and let us focus on our big day. She is one of the kindest, most thoughtful, and most helpful persons I've ever met. She also graciously acted as our local expert, as we are both from out of state. We truly could not have done it without her and the other folks (Shout out to Becky!) at Something Blue! -

We hired Becky full service - and she was beyond amazing from start to finish! She helped us through so many details and she was incredibly on top of everything through the entire process. Becky of Something Blue was a professional through and through. She was organized, she kept our vendors up-to-date on our timelines and details. She helped my Daughter and I decide many details in planning the wedding. She and her assistant worked their tales off in hot humid weather the entire day and evening of our wedding. She coordinated with our venue's coordinator that made our lives so much easier than if we had to. We highly recommend Becky and Something Blue and are thankful for their input into making my Daughter's wedding perfect. -

We had originally planned a 250 person wedding at a big hotel venue. When it was obvious that Coronavirus would be getting in the way of our original plans we downsized to a backyard wedding with 17 people. Becky was incredibly helpful in coordinating for the 250 person wedding, and was even more helpful for the small one! There were so many details we hadn’t thought through with our small wedding that she helped make seamless. She had great design ideas to give our wedding that special touch, and made sure everyone felt like a guest and not a host. Everything felt taken care of and we got to enjoy our wedding to the fullest. Definitely recommend, you will be so happy to work with Something Blue!! -

I hired Becky as a out of state bride that needed help finding locations. My job is very demanding so I didn't have a ton of free time to do the research myself. I gave Becky my list of likes/wants/pricing etc, and she curated a list of locations for me to review. She scheduled all the tours and even attended them with me on a weekend trip I booked just to look at wedding venues. I highly recommend Becky! This was a great service that was well worth the money, and I loved having Becky with me on site because she would call out things that the on site coordinator would not call out. She also had planned weddings at most the sites we went too and had insider details on what worked/what didn't at every site. I ended up selecting a destination wedding in Mexico (complete opposite from a Lake Geneva wedding) and am honestly sad I wont have Becky as my wedding planner. She was amazing, incredibly professional, very kind and also very down to business which I loved. If ever want to test run her/the companies services this is a great way to dip your toe into how it would be working with them without fully committing to wedding planning services. -

Whether you’re just starting your wedding planning journey or at the point where you’re currently drowning in the thick of it all, do yourself a favor now and book Something Blue. Seriously. Stop reading this review and do it right now. We would have lost. our. minds. without this team. I am so, so happy to have had Becky to work with for day-of coordination, which actually is not just “day-of” execution, but also “month-of” getting organized and ready, and “year-of” high-level planning and sanity checking. Becky was flawless in taking care of the typical big ticket items, including helping us make a decision about venue, mapping out a timeline for the day, getting vendors, parents, ushers, groomsmen, etc. to the right place and the right time, and managing general wedding chaos. She was also crucial in helping us deal with the unplanned hiccups (don’t fool yourself: these will happen regardless of how prepared you think you may be), including adapting timelines when we were running an hour behind, sewing my bustle when it broke, and stepping in as our getaway car driver when we didn’t have one. Among her greatest accomplishments was keeping everyone and everything safe during an end-of-night sparkler send-off . This team is a hot commodity with a booking calendar that fills up quickly – act now and save yourself a few grey hairs! -

It’s taken me a while to write this review, but I’ve been super busy since saying.. “I Do”.
It was literally three months ago that my husband Eric and I were married at Grand Geneva Resort and Spa.
We hired Something Blue and were assigned to Haley who coordinated our event on the day of...she was absolutely stellar.
Haley was super attentive to all of the details of our day and in my view went over and above the call of duty to make our day memorable and special.
She was patient, professional, creative and hugely resourceful. Although she was technically our”day of coordinator”... she was there before, during and after our event... which made everything perfect and helped us to create memories and an experience that we will never ever forget.
Our wedding was on Father’s Day and Becky, the owner, even stopped by our event to make sure all was going well.......AMAZING!
I could not have been happier with our experience with Something Blue and recommend both Becky and Haley without hesitation!

Becky is hands down magic. To say the least, the show would not have gone on without her. When my (now) husband, asked my parents for permission to marry me, my mom got so excited she actually booked a wedding venue before I even got engaged. Fast forward a few months and I checked out the venue. It was nice, but I'd always pictured it to be at our lake house where we grew up and where my husband proposed. When we first met Becky, she came down the driveway and with one look she asked, so why aren't you doing it here? That's when I knew Becky and I were on the same page. I looked at my mom and thought, is it possible? With our swampy, narrow, uneven yard, and the steepest driveway known to man, could we really do it here? A few weeks later i got the call from Becky that it was possible, and that my childhood dream was actually becoming a reality!
From start to finish, Becky was along for every step of the way. She is probably the most organized person i know. With each wild request, she made it a reality. We wanted sparklers? Sure! Fireworks? Yep! Boats? Of course. Shuttles - mhm. A tent to fit 300 people in a swampy uneven yard? She knows the guy for the job. She had an answer to every question (and there were a lot). She created a wedding timeline that was probably about 7 pages. She made herself available to us at all hours, we texted probably 24/7. The groom joked that "all he wanted for dinner was culvers" so Becky's assistant actually went out to grab a culvers bacon burger, fries and cheese curds to serve him on a silver platter during the wedding!
This event would not have gone on without Something Blue. If you need a wedding planner, she is your girl. Becky, I can't thank you enough for making August 24th the most special day of my life!! Truly unforgettable.

Becky and I had a few meetings months before the wedding and from there she took over communicating with all of my vendors. She created the wedding day timeline and made sure everything went according to plan. On the actual wedding day Elyse and Becky were a fantastic duo and worked well into the night even after everyone left. If anything went wrong on my wedding day, I didn't know about it! They made our day absolutely perfect. They were absolutely amazing and I believe went above and beyond what they were paid for (including picking up lunch for the bridal party and packing all our stuff into our car after we left). Becky and Elyse were a joy to work with throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Something Blue for all your wedding planning/coordinating needs!! -

She helped make my day so incredibly special and I will never be able to thank her enough. All I have ever heard is how stressful wedding planning can be, but working with Becky took all of the stress out. It made wedding planning fun and enjoyable. She listened to what I wanted and then used her creativity to make it happen!
She had a list of vendors, from rental companies to the florist and so on, that she recommended. She not only made recommendations, but would obtain estimates and arrange appointments with them when needed. All the vendors that she recommended did a WONDERFUL job and were very easy to work with as well.
Becky was always very responsive, even early in the morning and late at night! She is very organized and had everything under control at all times. I can tell that Becky loves her job and she really puts her heart and soul into her work.
The day of the wedding I had the pleasure of meeting Haley as well. Between her and Becky they made a very ordinary room look like something out of a movie! The room was breathtaking and I was totally speechless when I walked into the room and saw it for the first time. I am still receiving compliments a week later about how beautiful the ceremony and reception were. I would hands down recommend them to anyone and everyone. I will never forget how special and beautiful my day was, all thanks to Becky and Something Blue Lake Geneva!
