Great experience!

Picking a wedding planner is tough. Who do you want to entrust the most important, and often, most expensive night of your life to? Simply You was the right choice, and I am so glad I had Olena as my month-of planner.

I started with a different planner who was promoted and was a little stressed about having someone I didn't hire/interview from the outset, but Olena did a great job plugging in to where I was with my own planning and very kindly made all my little requests for the day happen! Once I turned over my vendors to Olena and a month later when I physically got down to the Keys, she helped ensure it was a truly stress-free time to enjoy my guests and celebrate the wedding instead of having to run around getting things to vendors and finalizing plans.

Of course, the most important part is the wedding day, and my day went SO SMOOTHLY! If something went wrong, I didn't know about it, but my bridesmaids confirmed that it was the most well-planned, issue-free wedding they'd ever been a part of.

I'm pretty type A, and Olena did a great job of taking things off my plate so I could enjoy myself. Thank you, Olena!

Desiree was excellent!

Desiree from Simply You took over wedding planning 30 days before the event. She was very on top of things, knew our venue (Audubon House) very well, and suggested small details (fans, extension cord for band) which made our ceremony much better! The ceremony was a breeze, knowing that Desiree would take care of everything. Everything was more beautiful than I could ever have imagined and there were no hiccups as far as I could tell (at least Desiree had everything under control)!

Best of the best

Simply You was simply the best! We felt so lucky to have found Julie Shreck. She turned our vision into reality and then some. She went above and beyond in all aspects. She was patient, accommodating, knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor which is always helpful during stressful situations.

Planning a destination wedding is not for the faint of heart. Julie made it such a pleasant experience. She handled everything. She is an expert in her field. She has a vast knowledge of vendors, local and otherwise. She also has great working relationships with many which is immensely helpful.

She and her team handled everything, seemingly effortlessly (although I know better). The Welcome Party and wedding were beyond amazing. Our guests cannot stop talking about how beautiful everything was, the attention to detail, how incredible the food was and everything else.

I cannot thank Julie, Olena and Simply You enough for giving us the most wonderful two evenings. It was magical. You really are the best

Executed everything with kindness and intention.

Julie and Desiree helped plan and coordinate my wedding, who are total rockstars in the wedding industry here in Key West & the Florida Keys. As a DJ who has worked with them for many years, I have always been very impressed with how well-organized they are. This time around I was the groom and couldn't have been more appreciative of their craft.

On the planning side of things, they provided an incredible amount of insight on how to properly execute our vision, sharing suggestions that I never would have thought of. Julie and Desi were in constant communication with all of our vendors, allowing my wife and I to focus on personal items that we needed tackle.

When it came down to the wedding day, they executed everything with kindness and intention. Our wedding was pretty involved (to say the least) and they gave my wife and I all the assurance we needed to stay focused on having a great time with our family and friends. Their professionalism was invaluable.

Julie and Desi, thank you so much for everything you did to help us put together a wonderful night!

To all of you future couples reading this: Just wait until you see how detailed their timelines are. You're going to be like, whoa, these ladies really know what they're doing! And then you're going to fold your arms, lean back, and be like, "I definitely picked the right person for the job 😎"

Brittany is a rockstar!

I had a wonderful experience working with Brittany from Simply You as our month-of planner! She especially shined through on our wedding day, as she helped execute everything so smoothly and without any hiccups (that we knew of, at least!). She went above and beyond, and even held onto my lipgloss for me during the evening so I could reapply when needed. Kayla was incredible!

Kayla is hand down the best! Her attention to every detail beginning months in advance and continuing all the way through the days following our wedding. Desiree thank you so much for how you saved the day when my hair and make up person canceled on my pre test date which was booked months in advance which I flew out to key west for. Desiree told me to cry and she had it handled in 20 minutes with a great new vendor Frankie!!! I flew out as I was supposed to and Desiree made it all happen in the same time frame !!! Desiree was on it!

We had a wonderful experience working with the team at Simply You Weddings and especially our wedding planner Desiree! We chatted well in advance about all of the details and Desiree was available for additional texting and emailing to go over things we forgot to say during the intial meeting. She was also willing and excited to help with our special surprise drag performance which took some extra secretive coordinating. On the day of the wedding Desiree kept everyone on track and was exactly what we needed as a planner/coordinator. We hired her/Simply you for same-day coordinator but definitely feel like we got plenty of guidance and help the month or two leading up to our special day. For a destination wedding, it was very helpful to be able to ship items up to a month in advance to their office. I would highly recommend Desiree and Simply You!

Made everything come together with absolute perfection. Provided several meetings and assisted me when I asked in regards to questions needing answers. Always incredibly kind and helpful. Stress-free day

I hired Simply You for their month-of wedding package and was assigned Brittany. She was absolutely amazing and I wouldn't have changed a thing! She helped design the table layouts and made sure everything was organized. We had switched last minute from a seated dinner to a cocktail style reception and I don't think I could have done it without her. She was very responsive to all my emails and texts. My mom kept commenting on how great she was as well. Would highly recommend!

We Couldn't Have Done it Without Them! Amazing!!

Wow! Being a destination wedding where my daughter (the bride) was living in Delaware, I was living in Ohio, and the wedding was to be in Key West, I knew it wouldn't be easy. The support we received from Jessica and Brittany surpassed our expectations (and that is saying a lot because my daughter has been working wedding receptions in some type of capacity for 16 years). The attention to detail was phenomenal. I can't say enough about our team and this company. From the initial ideas, to the timeline, to pulling the entire thing off without a single snafu was amazing! We couldn't have done it without them!

Amazing - Book them!

Desire @ Simply You was simply amazing. We had a destination wedding in Key West, FL and I am so happy we hired her. She was readily available to recommend vendors and suggest ideas. On our actual wedding day she was a rock star. From start to finish she was there was working so hard that our guests actually complimented us and asked 'who is that lady'! She assisted with setting up all of our special details, dessert set up, making sure we ate dinner and stayed on schedule and even assisted the short staffed wait team in serving meals.
Desire put together the wedding timeline, we were able to ship any items to her we needed for the wedding down to FL, communicated with all of our vendors on our behalf, was present on our wedding day going back and forth with the Groomsmen suite and the Bridal suite, set up our champagne tower, set up our seating chart, set up our decorations, hosted our rehearsal walk through, and overall helped alleviate stress from start to finish. These few details truly don't cover the level of service her team provided.
In summary - HIRE a wedding coordinator and defiantly Simply You if you are going down to Florida. :)

Thank You Desiree!!!

Desiree from Simply You was amazing!!! She is so dedicated to her job and is willing to do literally anything to make your day go smoothly. I could not have pulled off my destination wedding without her! Having Desiree available by text 24/7 during my wedding week in Key West really put my mind at ease. I literally felt like I had a personal assistant. She is fun, organized, thoughtful, hardworking, and professional. Some highlights:

Planning my wedding from afar in Massachusetts, I was able to ship things (like my champagne toasting glasses, larger decor, etc.) directly to her in Key West and have it stored for free until my wedding day. It was so nice to not have to worry about traveling with everything. I have no idea how I would have gotten everything down there otherwise.

My maid of honor was really sick on the night of my rehearsal dinner and Desiree offered to bring her whatever she needed to feel better. She even recommended hydration therapy, which we never would have even thought of. Without the hydration therapy, there is no way my maid of honor would have been able to stand by my side on my wedding day or make it through the event. We owe it to Desiree for this suggestion! She really knows the ins and outs of everything Key West!

Desiree created a detailed timeline of my wedding and adjusted it based on our preferences. She really is a wedding pro and took into consideration so many things that I wouldn’t have thought of. For example, she adjusted the side that I stood on during my ceremony based on the direction of the wind and how my hair was done. She also adjusted my photography timeline because she knew that I wanted to spend more time at my cocktail hour. I felt so confident about everything going smoothly on my wedding day because she is truly an expert in the wedding industry. I can’t imagine if I didn’t have her and I had to worry about the logistics of things on my wedding day. Because she took care of everything, I really got to be in the moment and enjoy my day.

Key West Wedding Perfection!

Desiree made our wedding day perfect! Planning a destination wedding from far away is difficult, as you might imagine. Desi made sure everything was set up and well planned each step of the way. Once we arrived she was there each step of the way, from showing up while we were getting ready at our hotel to making sure that the tables were set up according to what we planned for. She was especially a pro at making sure we were rehearsed and ready for the ceremony, which really made a difference in how prepared everyone participating felt. It meant we were able to rest and be in the moment once the day came. Throughout the reception Desiree made sure everything that needed to happened without getting in the way of each special moment (ex. signing the marriage contract, having drinks in hand, getting through all photos, cake cutting, toasts, music, etc etc). Desiree printed out our vows for us and tweaked the temperature and lights in the room throughout the night -- not a detail wasn't taken care of, and it really, really showed! I'm sure there were behind-the-scenes issues we weren't even aware of, but Desiree kept us focused on the most important parts so it all went so seamlessly.

Our wedding was far above what we could have imagined it to be. Not a regret comes to mind. THANK YOU Desiree for your hard work, attention to detail, and for keeping us on track and having FUN. It truly was a day we will cherish and reflect on for the rest of our lives.

Day Of/Month Of Coordination

We reached out to Simply You a little less than a year ago for an event coordinator for our wedding that we had in Key West this past weekend. We were paired up with Desiree and she was absolutely perfect for us! Her upbeat and friendly personality along with her professionalism and know-how helped to ease our nerves in tying up the remaining loose ends in the month leading up to our event and made the day go so smoothly even though we had to make some last minute adjustments due to weather.
She went above and beyond to make sure the day went smoothly and we were having a good time and she even made sure we got away and had a chance to eat (which very seldom happens for the bride and groom).
We weren’t sure if we were going to use an event coordinator but I’m so happy we did and I’m so happy that it was Desiree! I will definitely be recommending her services whenever I here anyone doing a wedding in the Keys!

SimplyYou took the Wedding Stress out of Planning

We had Desiree from SimplyYou as our month of coordinator and I could not recommend her services and professionalism more. She was completely on-point throughout the last month leading up to the wedding allowing us to relax and enjoy the process. She had a back up plan for every unexpected event (weather, the power going out, etc.), there was nothing the universe could throw at her to shake her. Even our bridal party (who have all been in their fair share of weddings) were super impressed with her friendly demeanor, easy direct instruction and attention to detail. I would definitely hire SimplyYou and Desiree again if given the chance!

Simply the best month of coordinator

Desiree with SimplyYou performed month of coordinating services for my husband and I at our August 2021 wedding - Southernmost Beach Resort. She was a rock star. I'm very type-A and I was extremely hesitant to hand over control to my big day to someone else, but I'm SO glad I did! I did all of the planning I wanted to up front and then Desi stepped in the month of to make sure I had everything covered and execute my vision! She was phenomenal. If anything went wrong on our wedding day, I didn't hear about it. But, I don't think anything went wrong because Desi thought of it all beforehand! I was so thankful to have her there for our rehearsal and throughout our wedding day. She went above and beyond during our stay in Key West for our wedding weekend and was so easy to communicate with - even when our cake vendor tried to cancel on us 5 days before our wedding! Couldn’t have made it through without Jenn!!!!

Our night was absolutely perfect! Jenn Perez was outstanding and such a breathe of fresh air! Our April wedding ended up being a July wedding due to Covid and Jenn was fantastic! She helped us with finding a new date, coordinated with vendors and made sure that our special day could happen, helped with the hiccups along the way, and even calmed me during the breakdown I had when our photographer canceled! She worked her magic! We are from out of state which made it a bit difficult at times. Jenn was responsive and quick to gets answers for us to the millions of questions we had! I highly recommend her for anyone planning a Key West wedding! Thank you Jenn! You are an angel!

Incredible experience - created memorable wedding

Elite Services of Simply You Weddings of Key West Florida & Julie Shreck & her team were phenomenal from the initial consult more than 1.5 years before our destination wedding to the last dance and beyond. As two busy business professionals who live in the north and love cats, sunsets, water, and Key West - we knew a marriage ceremony & lovely wedding party were what we wanted. The thoughts of planning from a far - not knowing reputable vendors - and needing help to turn our ideas into reality - thank goodness we called Simply You Wedding planners. While we spoke with a few others - when I spoke with Julie Shreck that first time - almost crying because someone said I couldn't get married at sunset in January at the Hemingway House - that it should be at least April - she not only put my mind at ease - but talked me through our ideas. She was pragmatic. When Scott & I headed to Key West 1 year prior to do some wedding planning - Simply You Weddings - had everything set for us - a meeting with the Minister Steve Torrence to cake testing to meeting with the caterer to a walk through of the venue to where to go find the wedding singer playing on the beach so we could meet & listen to him to meeting the makeup/hair professionals. Julie Shrek built out before our eyes a time line for the next months. Given that 40 of our 46 guests were from out of state - Simply You Weddings suggested a pre-wedding day sunset cruise. Our guests loved it. Julie Shrek was right there with me when I stressed about which photographer to go with - talking us through the pluses and minuses of each. We were thrilled with our wedding photographers. Julie & the Simply You Weddings team were available by email and phone if needed. We would have had no idea where to find someone to design our save the date cards and beautiful wedding invitations. Given distance, schedules, and Julie Shreck really knowing what we wanted - she pulled together a final plan with linens, flowers, lighting - to make our small, pretty garden wedding - a marriage ceremony and celebration we wanted with no hitches - and will treasure for a lifetime. As important as the destination was - getting my 84 year old mother there was just as important. Simply You Weddings arranged car service, spoke with the hotel to be certain my mom was accommodated, suggested a comfortable chair for her for the wedding (which they moved around for her all night) - and even with family & friends - my mom being there and being comfortable & happy - if it hadn't been for the planning and care Julie & her team put into making certain my mom was okay - I'm not certain it would have happened. Having a detailed time line for the wedding week allowed us to hit Key West and just not worry about things - and enjoy the special time with immediate family & a few friends. I actually walked down the aisle two minutes ahead of schedule - as Julie was right there with me - saying let's get this beautiful celebration going. Working with Julie Shreck & Simply You Weddings - an incredible experience!

We had the pleasure of working with Jennifer throughout the planning process and from start to finish she was PHENOMENAL! Looking back – I don’t know how I would have done it without her! She was always so quick to get back to me and made our wedding day completely stress free! She was such an all star in handling all of my vendors and creating my day of timeline. I never had to question if everything was in place or worry about a single thing the day of our wedding thanks to Jenn! After our wedding, we came back to our hotel room to find all of our décor that we had shipped nicely packaged in the boxes we shipped them in making it SO easy for us to ship back home! I must have mailed her at least 5 large boxes which I’m sure wasn’t easy getting to the venue but she handled everything effortlessly and just made everything so easy for us. You'll be in good hands!

We loved working with Jess at Simply You! We were living in the Keys when we started wedding planning and had hired all of all our vendors, so we decided on the Day Of Coordination package, which actually starts 30 days before the wedding. That turned out to be a great thing for us because we unexpectedly moved to Canada a few months before the wedding. I was so stressed before the wedding because we’d moved to a new country, I was trying to finish up end of semester course work, and I was at a conference the week before the wedding. But that’s where Jess stepped in. She took over everything and coordinated with the vendors, made sure we had everything done we needed to, and reassured me the entire time that everything was OK. She even set up appointments for us with Steam Queen and handled the cake when the baker said she couldn’t make the design we wanted. She made us a very thorough timeline, which I really appreciated. The day before the wedding, she made sure everyone knew where they were supposed to be and when. The day of the wedding, she kept everyone on schedule and things went perfectly. Not only was Jess 110% on top of everything but she is also just a nice person and enjoyable to be around. We liked her, my parents liked her, even my grandparents liked her. She did a fantastic job and is absolutely someone we would recommend to help with your wedding.

Absolutely worth every penny!!!

Julie and her team were AMAZING, I really don't know what I would have done without them. Julie was my wedding planner and she made sure that the wedding was more than I could have ever hoped for. I'm not a huge wedding person so I just wasn't aware of everything that goes into planning a wedding. I had long initial conversations with her, even before I decided to start working with her. I told her what was I was looking for, and she really handled the rest. The vendors that she suggested were amazing, she was very responsive and always gave a lot of detail to the answers to the questions that I asked, the weekend of my wedding she had everything handled and made sure that everyone knew what was going on (including guests and vendors). I didn't have to worry at all once I got down to Key West. I couldn't recommend her and the Simply You team enough, they made the experience enjoyable and more than I could have ever hoped for.

Simply You made our wedding day stress free!

We had a great experience with Simply You! We worked with Jessica Jones who was excellent! I had hired all of the other vendors on my own so we chose to the the Day Of Coordination package. We had a long phone call about 30 days out to fill her in on all of the details. She is very good at what she does and made some great suggestions and thought of some thing that we had not thought of before talking to her. Jen is a dream come true

Well, when you meet with your DJ and he tells you that you have the “dream team” for wedding planners, you know you got something right! Jen was my sanity saver. She was everything and more that I could have dreamt of. We went down to KW a few months before our wedding and Jen had every one of our vendors set up for appointments/tastings. Then took us to get all of our day of good & drinks and our marriage license.... AND DIDNT EVEN BLINK AN EYE! She allowed me to ship all of our personal stuff down also then took everything from our venue to our condo post wedding so I didn’t have to do a thing. 100% recommend without a doubt.

Simply You, We Love You!

I got married in Key West on March 23, 2019. I couldn't have planned this wedding without Jenn and her team at Simply You. Planning from afar was difficult because I was getting to know my vendors online, and I had a lot of trouble making my decisions. Simply You made it so much easier by providing options and insight. I am so happy that I went with full-service for the following reasons:
1) VENDORS: Jenn has been working with vendors in Key West for years and she helped me by providing options and letting me make my the decision on my own. Jenn was very patient with me as I had trouble deciding between some vendors and also changed directions a few times, but Jenn was right there with me every step of the way. When my husband said he wanted ice cream sandwiches instead of a cake, Jenn worked with local cookie shop Mattheessen's to create the cookie ice cream sandwich. She truly went above and beyond and I couldn't have been happier to have gone with the full service model for many reasons, especially for the vendor sourcing aspects.
2) FAMILY // Jenn worked with me, my husband, my mom, my mother-in-law and probably more members of my family throughout the experience. It probably wasn't easy to have so many cooks in the kitchen, but Jenn handled our pack with grace!
3) THE DAY OF// Our wedding day was perfect. It was absolutely perfect. I know that there was a lot going on behind the scenes and Jenn made sure that everything went smoothly.

If you're trying to decide whether or not to hire a wedding planner, DO IT! If you're trying to decide whether to go for day of vs. 60 days out vs. full-service, I recommend full-service. I was originally planning on the 60 day out partial, but I think it should be all or nothing or all (full service) or day of because there is SO MUCH to do before that 60 day point. You will be so happy you did when you actually get to enjoy your wedding day! Thank you, Simply You!

Simply the Best

When our daughter and son-in-law decided to get married in Key West, they said that it would be more of an “elopement” because they wanted only family and closest friends. They asked me to put it together for them since I love planning. As these things have a habit of doing, the wedding began to grow. We had made initial contacts, placed deposits, and signed contracts for many of the services when I realized that this wedding was going to require a real wedding professional! Best Wedding Planner in Key West

If you are looking for a wedding planner in Key West, look no further. Seriously. I CAN NOT overstate how grateful I am for Desiree De La Oz at Simply You Weddings! My fiance and I planned our destination wedding in Key West from Cleveland - and we were very nervous about forgetting to book key vendors, overlooking details, etc. From the first email I sent to Desiree, she put me at ease. Not only is Desiree overwhelmingly organized and professional, she is one of the warmest and nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Desiree meticulously went over every single detail of my wedding with me and caught many things that I had overlooked. If I had a question or concern, Desiree responded to my emails and texts quickly and professionally. Desiree also made us a beautiful itinerary and "to-do" lists that made my life and the planning process so much easier. Desiree created beautiful "welcome" bags for our wedding, and facilitated and organized the many decorations and personal items we had shipped to her office. The actual day of our wedding went off without a hitch thanks largely to her organization and coordination with our other vendors. So helping and amazing

Jenn Perez is truly amazing!
We were planning a 140 person wedding in Key West… from New York and went down there only one time before the wedding. From the first time we spoke to Jenn over the phone she was an absolute life saver. I really cannot explain how thankful we were to have had her. She went so up above and beyond her ‘day of wedding’ duties. She provided invaluable help for weeks before the wedding, reminded us of important things to think about – many of which we never even considered. We felt so prepared and taken care of. Jenn listened to every detail we wanted to execute, no matter how crazy and she was super helpful in helping us achieve our vision. Jenn communicated everything effortlessly with our vendors and made everything so much easier for us.
On the day of the wedding Jenn was literally superwoman, we are positive that our wedding would have been 1 million times more chaotic without her. She was on the ball with absolutely everything, things we spoke about weeks before that I had forgotten, things that you do not want to think about on your wedding day! Like how it’s a windy day and the paper place-cards are going to fly away without sand to wedge them in, or surveying the excitement levels and telling you it’s a good time to do a speech or a daddy daughter dance. She always asked us first, I remember her coming up to me at the time we said we wanted to do the cake and the dance floor was packed and she said… It is totally up to you but you guys look like you are having the best time and she was absolutely right. We are so happy we didn’t stop the party.
Bottom line is, weddings are stressful and after the ceremony all we wanted to do was chill and let loose and that is all I had to do with Jenn around. Trust me having a planner is worth every penny and Jenn Perez from Simply You is the woman to ask for!

Simply You — Simply Amazing!

I say this without exaggeration - I literally don’t know what we would have done without Nicole. We had some unique wedding challenges — a 6 month delay due to Hurricane Irma; a venue change 2 weeks before the wedding (also due to Irma); and then more weather related issues the day of, including a last minute tent rental and a crazy mid-reception storm. Throughout all of that, Nicole was an amazing resource and partner. Her experience, instincts, familiarity with Key West vendors, and attention detail were outstanding. The day of the wedding Nicole and Jess made our day flow seamlessly. Even with the crazy storm and needing to shift things around during the night, they made sure my wife and I were able to enjoy our day and not stress about the details. I would 100% recommend Simply You for planning your wedding.

Destination wedding in November

After we got engaged and decided on a destination wedding in Key West we knew a wedding planner would be a must! We interviewed a few different planners and just felt the connection with Simply You. Jenn was such a blessing to work with. For the last 6 months she has been part of our family as we envisioned and planned our special day! She was so helpful and made everything so easy!! From the time we arrived to the day we left she made sure everything was in line and taken care of. We had over 40 guests in town for our wedding and had no issues. Everything was taken care of. Wow! Where to begin? We are SO grateful to Julie and Desiree for their incredible work organizing our wedding and the events leading up to it (welcome BBQ and sunset cruise). Everything was perfect. Not one detail was overlooked. Our wedding day was completely stress-free and everything looked absolutely beautiful. From the very first phone call, Julie made us feel 100% comfortable. She never pushed anything, always took the time to understand our wishes, gave precious advice, and was always very responsive and helpful. The vendors that she recommended were all 5-star, amazing, professional, and wonderful to work with. She helped us figure out ways to offer our guests the incredible Key West experience that we wanted for them (for example, on her recommendation and because we didn't want to be too traditional, we chose to do a Sunset Cruise instead of a rehearsal dinner and that was INCREDIBLE!!) and she planned the best party at Audubon House--the decor was breathtakingly beautiful, the food out of this world, and our guests enjoyed rum and cigar tastings as well as an awesome photo booth. It's hard to find words to express how amazing Julie and her team are. Hire them, you won't regret it. Our wedding day was the happiest, most amazing day of our lives. Simply said, it was "simply us" and that was really the best part about it. We will forever cherish memories of our wedding day and be grateful to Julie and Desi!

We planned our wedding long-distance which made finding a wedding planner who was our right fit that much more important for my nerves. We narrowed down to two planning services prior to a trip down to Key West. They were like night and day. The first planning service felt like a cookie-cutter experience even down to standard, impersonal emails and lack of note-taking. Erica with Simply You was completely the opposite. She went over and above to provide wonderful tips/advice for KW before we even met/hired her. She came to our consultation armed with notes from our email exchanges and contacting our ceremony site to learn more of our vision. She was professional, friendly, and kind throughout. She ran our welcome party, rehearsal, ceremony, reception. Erica was one of many who had the misfortune of notifying brides that our picture-perfect receptions site, Ocean Key Sunset Pier, was unavailable due to Hurricane Irma. Again, she stepped up prepared to make those calls, armed with back up plans at the ready. We were able to stay onsite as planned. Erica was a huge part of contacting all our vendors to rework whatever was needed. We chose the package (I forgot the name) where we had a consult, unlimited emails and exchanges one month leading up to the weekend, and full service weekend of wedding. The Irma chaos was outside that window. She went over and above even though it wasn't in our original agreement - all while she and the other vendors were trying to rebuild their own lives. I was busy dancing the night away during the reception. My groom spoke highly of how well she ran the events of the reception and dealt with the, um, personalities of our family/guests, keeping everything on time. Both mothers spoke highly of how quickly, organized she was ensuring personal items were returned in full to the correct person following the reception. She provided excellent communication/timelines prior to the weekend. I can't recommend her enough. She felt like a friend.

I am not certain where to begin to a write what an incredible job Julie and Desiree did for my daughter's wedding. When my daughter decided to get married in Key West I panicked, I had not been there in 25 years how was I going to plan a wedding. From my 1st call with Julie I knew it would not only be ok it would be perfect and not only was it perfect t was the magical wedding my daughter always dreamed of. Julie and Desiree do not miss a beat, not one detail was overlooked , never did Have to check on them, an everyone-yes everyone they recommended we use to put this wedding together was just as professional and talented as they are. Beyond expectations! I really cannot say enough about Simply You and Julie Shreck. As a former fiancé I hope my review will be helpful in making a decision on which wedding coordinator is right for you. I will try to make it short as reading lengthy reviews can be daunting. To summarize my wedding was well, perfect. My husband stated it was, “the best day of his life”. And not just because of me (haha). Our venue, table settings, food, music, flowers, flow, cupcake sushi (look into it) blew us away. I had no stress, Julie handled everything. We walked into a beautiful, stunning ceremony and reception. Things flowed smoothly, our guests were enchanted. Background: we live out of state, didn’t try the food, and didn’t try the dessert, all our planning was faith in Julie. And, as I told her, not that we expected to be disappointed, but it was perfect in all ways. We really can't say enough about Nicole as our wedding planner. From the beginning, she did not let one small detail go unnoticed. She is open and honest, easy to talk to, detailed and always follows up on pending items. She is so knowledgeable with regards to available vendors in Key West and has personal, favorable connections with many of them. She kept us on track all the way to the end of our wedding event, always to the point where we felt like she was our best friend and knew exactly what we wanted. We wanted our experience for both, us and our guests to feel as though the day was unrestricted, casual, ending with an amazing dance party. Nicole accomplished exactly that without hesitation and without a hint of over complex planning or scheduling. Where to even start. After getting engaged, we knew we wanted a destination wedding in Key West. I did a search for planners and reached out to Simply You. Erica returned my call and I am so incredibly happy she did! She listened, advised on venues based on what I had told her and took the time to get to know us. During the process, she was so responsive and informative. The planning process was SO fun! Everything leading up to the wedding was less stressed because of her. Trust me when I say, the day of, I was so nervous. Like probably every other bride out there, I wanted everything to be perfect for the day I had been planning for so long. Jenn was amazing. I live here locally, so I had met with her a few times before the wedding. She went over every detail with me of the wedding numerous times-from the schedule to the decor. I had a lot of DIY as well as personal decor & she allowed me to leave it at her office ahead of time. The day of the wedding, we had plans for a 1st look at our resort, then a trolley to take us to Ft. Zach for wedding party photos, & then to our venue. Our friends can be bit unscheduled, so I knew that keeping everyone on a schedule could prove to be quite difficult. Jenn arrived right after hair & makeup was done, checked in on my bridesmaids & myself. She even went to the groomsmen's room to tie their bowties! When I arrived to the venue, she set up my decor EXACTLY how I had envisioned. She kept everyone on time for everything. Jenn was amazing. I couldn't have made it through that day without her!

Hiring Nicole from Simply You to be my full-service wedding planner was hands down the best decision I made when planning my destination wedding in Key West. Nicole made the entire planning process much less stressful and time-intensive than it otherwise would have been for me. Her familiarity with various local vendors greatly reduced the time it took for me to find the perfect venue, music, flowers, photography, rehearsal dinner restaurant, cake, hair & makeup, etc. I would tell Nicole what I was looking for, and she would provide several high-quality options. Once I had made my choice, she would contact the vendor and make all of the necessary arrangements. I was very pleased with all of her suggestions, and I should also mention that with her assistance I was able to stay well within my budget! I visited Key West a couple of times while planning for the wedding and Nicole did an excellent job of making arrangements so I could meet with the vendors. For the wedding itself, she created a very detailed itinerary and personally ensured that everything went smoothly. Even when the possibility of thunder storms threatened the ceremony, she kept a close eye on the radar so that I wouldn’t have to stress about that. Everything went beautifully, and best of all I was able to relax and enjoy it without worrying. I actually will miss the regular emails with Nicole, because in addition to being an awesome wedding planner, she is also a friendly laid-back person who I enjoyed getting to know during this process. I’m not sure how she manages to seem both laid back and on top of everything at the same time, but she does it with apparent ease.

I recently had the pleasure of being a groomsman at a wedding put on by Simply You Weddings. As someone who works in the hospitality industry. I was very impressed with everything the entire team was on point! Julie S. was amazing she had every detail laid out crystal clear, her assistants were just as friendly and the whole event flowed like a well oiled machine! The advice I would give is to book this vendor as quickly as possible. Julie and her team will exceed all of your expectations. We got married in Key West about 4 weeks ago and we still can't stop talking about the wedding. It was literally perfect! Nicole with Simply You Weddings is a miracle worker. She made my wedding an easy breezy dream!! Nicole was so detailed and always kept her cool. She organized absolutely everything for me and ran around doing the hard work. I just had to show up and have fun!! I cannot tell you enough good things about Nicole. Julie Shreck of Simply You Weddings was phenomenal. From the beginning, she had proven to be very thorough. She executed wedding planning tasks flawlessly and timely. She was very personable, learning the names of bridal party and family members, including nicknames! It was such a delight. My daughter is an architect and her new husband is a video producer. They were VERY particular about the look and feel of their wedding. Nicole Yancey of Simply You Weddings in Key West made all of their dreams come true. She truly listened to them and heard them. She spent hours sourcing the particulars for their wedding. All of her recommendations including for accommodations , caterers, florists, dress steamer, make up and hair, babysitting......were perfect! Jenn Perez was amazing! We used Jenn for our destination wedding in Key West (we live in Chicago). She was fantastic and made our big day totally stress free and exactly what we asked for. Jen was quick to respond to each email or phone call with the up most professionalism. We had several things that were a little different that we wanted to incorporate for our wedding... like our groomsdog (not man) being able to attend the ceremony and the reception on the beach. She really nailed it! We did the entire thing site unseen, we had both been to Key West several times before but never to the venue, or the B&B, or the reversal dinner venue. She explained everything so perfectly and made sure all the little things were taken care of. She provided us with options of fantastic vendors including music, food, beverages, flowers, decorations, steam cleaning...etc.
A couple days before the wedding, I asked her if she could help out in getting some accommodations to celebrate two of our friends birthdays that were the same weekend .... we wanted something fun and playful for the two guys at our rehearsal dinner ... Jenn pulled it off and got two drag queens to come sing them happy birthday..... its doesn't get more Key West than that!

The morning of the wedding the weather changed and it was pretty chilly and it was going to be windy at our beach location for the reception, she called and asked if we wanted to add some heaters for the guests at the reception.... i mean that was the last thing on my mind.... but thank God she called and asked... we said yes .... and we were grateful!

I really can't say enough... its pretty impressive that when you talk with your friends and family a week after your wedding and they all keep telling you how amazing the wedding was and how your wedding planner did a fantastic job, thats saying something! Thank you, thank you, thank you Jenn!

It was such a pleasure working with Jennifer at Simply You; we highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in Key West. We booked day-of (month-of) services with Jenn and are so thankful we did. She was extremely professional, attentive, and made us feel as if our wedding was her number one priority at all times.
We had a minor issue when one of our packages (with very important items inside) still hadn’t arrived the day before the wedding. Jenn’s calm, “we’ll make it work no matter what,” attitude was so appreciated and exactly what we needed. She was already coming up with a Plan B if the box didn’t make it there in time (thankfully, it did!).
Additionally, Jenn did such a wonderful job making our wedding space absolutely beautiful. We didn’t have concrete instructions for where every item should go… we talked with Jenn about our vision and she brought it to life. When I first saw our reception area, my jaw dropped… it was absolutely stunning!

Julie Shreck was such an amazing planner and I am so thankful I chose to work with her. Everything was seamless, beautiful, and enjoyable, thanks to her. Julie's industry experience is top-notch and she has excellent relationships with all of the best vendors. She also happens to be kind, lovely, and funny. She assisted me through every aspect of the planning process and I completely trusted her to make any final decisions on my behalf. I cannot recommend her and her excellent team more.

Our wedding was executed flawlessly thanks to Nicole at Simply You. We had a lot of moving parts with 3 modes of transportation, 4 locations, 3 photographers, 2 bands and 100 guests who were new visitors to Key West. My mother and I could enjoy the days leading up to the wedding with friends and family instead of stressing about minor details. Hiring Simply You to coordinate our wedding was the absolute best decision we made.

We started out as a couple who scoffed at the idea that we needed anyone's help to plan and pull off our wedding. We couldn't have been more wrong, but that's not due to the fact that we hired a wedding planner; it's because we stumbled into the lap of THIS wedding planner. Without Nicole Yancey, our wedding would have still happened, but it 100% would not have been the event we now look back on with pride and amazement.

The list of ways in which Nicole helped make our wedding possible is really long. Most of them are connected to Nicole's instinct for knowing what we needed and when, but in a way that it would only be fair to expect from an old friend. She understood the vision we had and anticipated the missteps we might take so that she could steer us away from them. She knew that our laid-back approach was okay when the wedding was still ten-months out, and she knew that it was time to push once we entered the 60-day window. She also supported us through our "can-we-really-pull-this-off" brainstorming (surprise ceremony the night before what the guests think is the actual wedding date, anyone?) without ever once suggesting we might want to reign in our dreams or "be more realistic." Lucky for us, we found in Nicole our most enthusiastic cheerleader and most skilled project manager, and that's turned us into her biggest fans.

Can you plan a wedding in Key West from far away? Probably. But there is no way that it will approach the sort of wedding you'll get to look back on if you have Nicole Yancey on your team.

Nicole and her team did an outstanding job assisting us with our destination wedding. Not knowing Key West very well, Nicole brought us vendors that were high quality and affordable, she made sure every step went as planned, was attentive and thorough through the entire process. This service exceeded my expectations and Nicole was simply phenomenal. Thank you for making our special day the best ever!

Nicole is amazing! She lives in Key West, so she knows a lot! Because she knows of or has worked with quite a few vendors on the island it alleviated a lot of the worry for me. She is very sweet and to the point. She did everything and anything to make sure my day was beautiful and special. She was on top of everything from day 1! I had the most amazing time in key west at the Southernmost Beach Resort! Nicole is the BEST, you have to have her as your wedding planner!!! Thank you so much Nicole!!
