Alanna was a godsend. I am so happy I stumbled upon her and her very unique product--day-of coordination! Do you have a small budget? Are you planning on creating and buying your own decor? Do you have a vision that you know you can put together but don't want to have to spend time and energy worrying on the day of your wedding?! Great! Alanna is the one for you! I had a vision and didn't trust just anyone to help pull it off. Yet, it was a no-brainer that we needed Alanna when we met her! She was friendly, caring, experienced, and very professional. I knew we had to have her for our wedding. Her package and service was perfect. We had a lot of our decorations picked out and an idea of what we wanted, we just needed someone we could trust to take over the day-of. Alanna went above and beyond that. We were to marry in May of this year; however, when the quarantine mandates were rumored...Alanna, with her knowledge and expertise, helped us navigate those scary, uncharted waters. She was there to guide us through the rescheduling and negotiations with our vendors. It was scary but having her a text away to guide us was invaluable and we will be forever grateful. She never left us to figure it out alone. Beyond that, the day of our wedding was magic and without hiccups! At least if there were, we NEVER found out! The weeks leading up to the wedding, she helped with details we would have never thought of--and her execution of the decor and setup was super intuitive of what I wanted. Alanna made sure that our day was perfect...and it was. Alanna's service was the best. We highly highly recommend her and her team. -

My daughter's wedding day was the Best Day Ever! This was largely due to all the work Alanna Bunce put into making it perfect. Alanna started working with us three months out from the wedding date and she was absolutely amazing! Her organization kept us always in "the know" and never having to wonder what had left to be done to prepare for the special day. Alanna connected on a personal level with the bride and groom and with the rest of our family. She was always very responsive and willing to make changes on a moment's notice if necessary. For Alanna, the wedding day is about the bride and the groom and she does anything and everything needed to always make them feel that way. Her attention to detail is unmatched and so is her sweet and genuine character. As the mother of the bride, I would highly recommend Alanna at Simply Sweet Weddings if you want your day to be the Best Day Ever!! -

A dream!!!
Alanna was absolutely amazing! She was by my side since day one, supportive and very responsive. When I thought of a day of coordinator, I considered literally the day of. Alanna was WAY more than that!! We booked her fall of 2021 for our Sept 2022 wedding and when I would push wedding planning to the back burner she always texted or emailed me to check in and see if I needed anything. Alanna communicated with our vendors very efficiently, she got along with our families, friends and guests as if they were her own!! The day of was everything and more than I could have ever dreamt of. I remember showing up to the venue and just being amazed with the details and work she put into everything. I would recommend Alanna to any bride to be, she made wedding planning and our big day so so special! -

Alanna is a pro with such good vibes. From the beginning, we loved her energy and we felt so supported the whole way. Our day went so smoothly and we have Alanna to thank. She was a knowledgeable resource, she was flexible with her scheduling, and she never got awkward when we bickered in front of her. Hey, that's a real skill when you're dealing with stressed out couples! She also provided several services which just made it easier for us-- sparklers, bartender, etc. We definitely would recommend her to anyone. Our date was 2/19/22 at Shiraz Garden. -

Alanna did such an amazing job communicating with everyone involved with our wedding. We were blown away with how perfect our day turned out. The vision we had in our minds was exactly, if not more, than what we got. Alanna listened to so many of my anxieties and concerns along the way from RSVPs to food to music and everything in between. She has this cool, calm, & collected personality where I am freaking out and she's like it'll be handled. Alanna took care of every little detail at the rehearsal to the day of and beyond. She never made me feel like I was asking too many questions or that my questions were ridiculous. She truly helped me feel like a stress free bride the day of my wedding and I am so grateful! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and Alanna was the biggest factor in that! -

FIVE MILLION STARS FOR ALANNA AND HER TEAM!!!!!! Alanna went so far above and beyond — she was there with us far more than just the day of, she answered every single question with a smile, thought of things we hadn't even considered, and took on every last detail. We literally cannot imagine having our day without her, she is hands down the best money you can spend on your wedding. We worked with her for bartending as well, and it was flawless - we got so many compliments from our guests on the bartender, as well as on Alanna's making everything go so smoothly while staying in the background.
A few of my favorite moments from working with Alanna that encapsulate her:
When discussing what to do for the seating chart, she told me "come up with anything you want, show me a picture, and I'll make it happen, nothing is too complicated"
She offered up several of her own accessories to make the day special and save us some money, from table numbers to seating chart framework.
On the day of, after we had dinner we asked her to save the leftovers in case we were hungry later, and she replied, "don't worry, I already put tacos and cookies in your hotel room in case you want them when you get home"
Besides all of this, she is an absolutely wonderful human and delightful to work with. She treats you like you're her only wedding even though she is oh so busy, and truly makes your weekend feel special and stress-free. This is the best money you can spend on your wedding!!!! -

Hiring Simply Sweet Weddings was one of the best decisions we made for our day, if not the best. Alanna was beyond amazing from Day 1 and went above and beyond to make sure any questions we had were answered, every detail was taken care of, and gave us invaluable guidance on multiple aspects of our day that we were struggling to figure out. She is so knowledgeable and thoughtful and it truly shows in her work. We had to postpone our wedding by a year for the pandemic and she never missed a beat as she helped us through the craziness of rescheduling. We felt 100% confident going into our day knowing we had someone so capable who truly cared about helping us have the best wedding possible. Our day was incredible because of her and her team and we will forever be grateful that we hired them! -

Exceptional
We simply cannot say enough good things about Alanna and Simply sweet for the beautiful wedding they coordinated for us. In preparation, Alanna held multiple virtual meetings(we live in Houstonand was during Covid), walked us through the wedding day and vendor process, all the while keeping in mind the bigger picture and making sure our day went beautifully. From coordinating the caterer, band, and photographers to handling countless other tasks, we could count on Alanna to and handle tasks so we could enjoy the day stress free. We cannot thank her enough for her time, effort, and thoughtful attention to detail. -

She’s got your back!
We used Brushy Creek Events All-Inclusive package and we were so lucky to get Alanna as our day-of-coordinator!
Before our wedding, Alanna met with us until we had everything finalized and she made sure that if we needed anything she was only a text or call away.
During the day of the wedding, she made our vision come to life! I’m pretty sure placing personal decor was not part of her job, but she did it anyways! I was not stressed at all during the wedding because I know Alanna had our backs!
After the event, she took care of the clean up and made sure our personal decor made it back to our hotel room. She even returned a few rentals items for us without us even asking, giving us less stuff to do after the wedding!
Alanna was so great to work with and from the moment we met her, I knew we were in good hands! Our wedding went so smoothly all because of Alanna. Please do yourself a favor, and hire her for your wedding! -

I can't say enough great things about Alanna! We hired her to be our wedding coordinator while we were planning a destination wedding in Austin. We were stationed in Japan throughout the pandemic and she went above and beyond to help us and make sure we were comfortable with everything happening even from the other side of the world. We eventually had to cancel our wedding because we were not able to travel during the pandemic and when we did she was completely understanding and so helpful. Alanna is fun, professional, and an absolute joy to work with! I would recommend her services to everyone! -

We were referred to a wedding planner by our venue. I didn't know what a planner involved, but i read all of the reviews for Alanna and her team at Simply Sweet Weddings and was sold! Alanna is amazing at what she does and is so fun and comforting. If you have a problem or a question or random thought, she wants to hear about it. There was never a moment where I felt like I couldn't approach her, and she made sure everyone knew the bride and groom were the priority. We made the decisions, and she handled everything else for us. It was so nice to have that soundboard throughout the planning process and someone that could handle the behind the scenes for us. I loved the frequent video check ins, the detailed timeline of events and the ease of wedding planning with Simply Sweet Weddings! -

We’re finally settling in and we can’t stop raving about her. I hated the idea of a wedding and she gave us such an amazing day. In all seriousness she should charge double. She didn’t just provide us a service, she provided us a friend and just an overall sense of calm. She is an amazing hype woman who was just 100% for us even when i wasn’t for the wedding. We can’t thank her enough for her support and kindness even when I was raging and just hating the industry. The last week was horrific and she just kept such a level head pushing us to the forefront of every issue so we had a good day. If anything went wrong on Saturday we had no idea.
My father in law saw her measuring out the distance between the cornhole boards to make sure it was regulation. We were kept on-time but never rushed. We haven’t heard a single complaint from anyone that went to the wedding. We have no clue who set up the tables or when the cake got there or when guests got seated. We weren’t hungry or thirsty and were just shuffling around enjoying each other and then it was over. We have so much love for her. Thank you so so so much for a gift we can never repay and for giving us a day with memories I didn’t even know I wanted. She was one of the cheapest purchases of the wedding, and she made the entire thing run so much smoother and better. You will never regret hiring her, we guarantee it.

Wow! What can I say about how AMAZING Alanna is?! I'm a wedding photographer and have worked with Alanna in the past. I knew after working with her, I was going to one day book her for my wedding. Really, that's how good she is.
Coordination can be stressful, but she does it SO easily. She gets my stamp of approval so much, I even refer her to my clients. Even under pressure (like when the strap to my dress came undone and we almost had a wardrobe malfunction...) she stays calm and tackles any task.

Where to start!
I am a very organized person overall, but Alanna takes organization to the next level! I came across Simply Sweet Weddings online, and by just going through the website I felt such an amazing connection that when we met for the first time, I knew we would be hiring Alanna for our special day!
Alanna was very prepared with a lot of questions that I wouldn't have imagined asking myself. She had so many ideas that made our wedding so special and unique! From the day we hired Alanna, we were very stress free! She has such a positive attitude about EVERYTHING and that's the kind of vibe you want during wedding planning. I was able to get a hold of Alanna pretty much any time of the day, she met with us right around home, and she led us to other great vendors! Our wedding day was so seamless, you do not know how amazing it was for me to just show up ready, walk down the isle and enjoy EVERY second of our wedding. Alanna's heart is in this for the very perfect reason - to help others start the beginning of such an amazing journey the perfect way! She is gold!

Amazing and so much more!
This is such a hard review to write because I am not sure quite how to relay how amazing Alanna is in words. We went in search of a wedding coordinator simply to be our hands the day of, what we lucked into was SO much more! My sister and I both have experience working in the wedding industry, so I figured I had this planning thing down. Fast forward a few months and I am overwhelmed with decision making and schedules and a million thoughts in my head. Enter Alanna. Really, I should have called her sooner than I did. From our very first meeting, every time I spoke with Alanna she immediately put me at ease. Every time couldn’t keep my head straight Alanna would talk through all of my thoughts and give me guidance and direction or just tell me I really did have it all together and could let go a little. She asked questions about details I had forgotten or hadn’t even thought of. She told us honestly when she didn’t agree with ideas (like trying to call an Uber after the wedding or not have a bar during dinner). She recommended and booked vendors for us, negotiated extras with the vendors we had already booked, and those final days when I just couldn’t make another decision and needed ANYONE else to decide what shade of pink to use for the up-lighting, she saw my panic and made the decisions for me.
Our wedding day certainly didn’t not go off without a hitch, but every hitch that arose was immediately caught and resolved without any effort from me or my husband. At one point of panic where we thought we had an additional guest, we went to tell Alanna of the sudden change. She had already spoken to the caterers, rearranged the chairs, and had an extra table setting in place. She created and provided our seating chart, easels, reserved signs, and probably a dozen other little items that we didn’t have to go out and purchase just for one day. Through the entire day Alanna was always on the move and taking care of something, but every time I turned to look for her, she was right there where needed. We actually received several compliments from friends and guests on how great our coordinator was (and I think was asked to join our family multiple times)!
My only regrets are that I didn’t call Alanna sooner, loop her into the planning from the beginning, and had just one wedding for her to plan (but I am pre-booking her for my brother and future sister-in-law). Honestly, Thank you Alanna! We had an amazing wedding day and the majority of that credit goes to you. You exceeded our expectations 1000 times over and we can not express how grateful we are. This industry and any future couple you work with is lucky to have you! -

Alanna was incredibly crucial to ensuring that our wedding went smoothly. We hired her for the "day-of" planning, but she began helping us out 90 days prior to the date which helped us stay on top of what was the largest priority and even made us realize we missed some small details that we would not have thought of on our own.
Even if you don't think a planner is not necessary, which was our thoughts before hiring her, she might have been the best funds we spent to make sure the day went smooth like a dream. She even took care of picking up some of the equipment and delivering the alcohol to the venue so that we didn't need to worry about it on the weekend of the wedding. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! -

I don't know what I would have done without Alanna! I'm type A and planned our wedding quickly and with ease, but on the day of, all I wanted was to not worry about the details and have fun. Our meetings before the wedding day helped with planning and brought up details I hadn't thought of or didn't know about. It's so helpful to have someone knowledgeable on your side! Our wedding day was perfect, which means I'm sure Alanna was behind the scenes making sure everything went smoothly. She helped with set-up, managing our vendors, coordinating our ceremony, keeping us on our timeline, answering guest questions and directing guests, preparing everyone for our sparkler exit, and making sure I got some cake to-go. Alanna was amazing!!! The planning process with her was perfect!! She took care of everything and made sure that every detail was there. Simply Sweet Weddings was amazing! Alanna Bunce was outstanding! I cannot begin to describe how stress-free she made my daughter's wedding for my daughter and for me, MOB! The planning process with Alanna, the rehearsal and the day of was seamless and I'm over the moon impressed. Alanna stayed focused, calm, professional and took care of my daughter and her now-husband the entire time which is what I wanted. My daughter and her husband felt cared for by Alanna every step of the way. Alanna has the enthusiasm and energy that planning a wedding requires and she goes about the whole process with kindness, professionalism and genuine happiness. By the time we got to the wedding day, all I had to do was get dressed and show up! I was able to enjoy everything and everyone, knowing that Alanna was in charge of making sure all of the vendors took care of each of their parts and that guests were taken care of, and most of all that my daughter and her husband were taken care of the entire time. I highly recommend Simply Sweet Weddings, Alanna Bunce is absolutely golden. Her rates are low as she is a start-up business, she has been in the business just two years now, she is crazy good and lucky me and you to get her now. Hiring Alanna was hands down the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning experience! I truly feel like we could have not done it without her. Weddings are an emotional experience no matter how you do it, and having Alanna on our side made us feel like we could handle anything! My new hubby and I aren't big planners, so wedding planning felt pretty daunting to us. After our initial meet up with Alanna, she made us feel so comfortable and confident in where we were in the process, showed support and encouragement, and gave us suggestions and advice when needed, but made us feel like we were on the right track no matter what. We found Alanna kind of late in the game because we were working with another coordinator (a friend of a friend from out of town) whose travel arrangements fell through. We weren't even going to use a day-of coordinator, but now I seriously don't think our wedding would have come together in the same way without Alanna! She was a pleasure to work with throughout the planning stages, made herself so available to us, and put us at ease at a time that was so full of emotion, stress and anxiety. On my wedding day, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Alanna was calm, collected and in control no matter what came her way. Even our friends and family complimented how incredible she was! She directed our family and wedding party with where to be and when so they didn't have to stress about anything, helped alleviate a situation with a crazy cousin, and solved any oversight on our part with such grace and ease. Further more, because we met up a few times before the wedding, having her there on the day of our wedding, felt like having a friend there with us. If you are planning a wedding and reading this review, you would be crazy to not hire Alanna! My husband and I think so highly of her that we told her we will be references for her for life, so if you want to chat more about how amazing she is, feel free to reach out to us! Alanna was fantastic! We had drama the morning of. The photographer was in the hospital and texted me at 6:30 am that morning. I texted Alanna and she found another photographer to do my 3:00pm wedding for the same money I had contracted for. She made everything flow seamlessly so I could enjoy my day. -

We could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator! From day one, Alanna from Simply Sweet Weddings added a positive and bright energy to the wedding planning details! She asked me questions I hadn't thought to consider, and she was endlessly patient as I took time to make decisions. She never added any pressure to planning decisions, and she made herself available as a soundboard whenever I needed someone's advice.
Then, wedding day arrives. The weather is 60 degrees (unheard of for May in Texas), and a forecast of thunderstorms. Alanna and her team were AMAZING with watching the weather and moving our ceremony outdoors at the last minute when the skies cleared.
ALL of our guests complimented the friendly, cordial service, and impeccable timeline implemented by none other than Alanna. Needless to say, she far exceeded our expectations, and my new husband and I cannot sing her praises enough. If you are in the market for a day-of-coordinator, I highly recommend Alanna from Simply Sweet Weddings. You cannot put a price on not worrying about the small details on your wedding day. Knowing Alanna was there to gather gifts/personal decorations/etc. allowed me and the groom to enjoy our day completely. We made so many great memories, and that's in no small part due to Alanna. -

If you are trying to plan a wedding without Alanna, you are really making things too hard for yourself. When I started planning, I didn’t think I needed a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. I thought I could do it all by myself. But as the big day got closer, so many little questions started to pile up, and I realized I needed a little help. That’s when I hired Alanna. This was, hands down, the best and most important decision I made while planning my wedding. From day one, Alanna took care of everything. She met with us multiple times before the wedding, answering all our little questions and creating a day-of timeline that would ensure everything ran smoothly. She got in contact with all our vendors to confirm details and answer their questions, and she even hooked us up with a vendor we thought we would never be able to afford! She conducted our rehearsal dinner, and even brought our suitcases to our hotel for us. Seriously, she does EVERYTHING. On the day of the wedding, Alanna was in full power mode. She picked up coolers and ice, and even offered to deliver breakfast to my bridesmaids and I. She got the entire venue decorated exactly as I had envisioned. She greeted vendors and made sure everyone was in the right place at the right time. She cued the processional, set up all the tables for dinner, cut the cake, handed out tip money, and probably ten million other things that I don’t even know she did. Seriously, weeks after the wedding, I am still learning of little things that ALMOST went wrong at my wedding before Alanna saved the day. I wasn’t even aware of these things. Because I hired Alanna, I was able to float through my wedding day blissfully happy and relaxed. Alanna’s top priority was making sure I was not stressed out. It wasn’t until later that I learned how many little details she had to take care of that day. If you’re like me, and you’re thinking of doing everything by yourself, please stop and think about how many little issues will crop up on your wedding day. Do you want to be the one worrying about all of those? Or do you want to relax and enjoy the most beautiful day of your life while Alanna takes care of everything? Seriously, this woman does not charge enough and you should hire her before she becomes the most sought-after day-of coordinator in the country. She’s that good. My wedding day is now the happiest memory of my life, and I know that’s because Alanna was there to make everything perfect. -

We had the privilege of working with Alanna for our wedding and she exceeded every expectation we had. Not only was she incredibly receptive to every request we had, but she also went above and beyond to make sure we did not have to worry about anything. She coordinated with all the vendors, put us in contact with some amazing people, and the day felt effortless. Not once was I ever worried or stressed about anything because I knew Alanna had it under control. When I was originally looking for a wedding coordinator I was very worried I wouldn't find someone whom I could put all my trust and confidence in, but upon meeting Alanna I knew she was the right person for the job. Hire This Woman
I can tell you right now that my wedding was everything and more because of Alanna. She took my vision and RAN with it, going above and beyond and doing more than expected of her. I had several people come up to me throughout my wedding day asking me who she was and if she did parties - one of my aunts from AZ wants her to help us with my grandmother's 80th she'd fallen in love with her!
Truthfully, I think Alanna sells herself short. She's worth so much more than I think she believes she is, and I really cannot thank her enough for everything she did for me. From 7am to 1am wedding day she was there for my family and me. She helped set up, clean up, and dealt with problems before I even knew they were problems! (And lemme tell you, we had problems like when all of my girls bouquets died overnight. We show up to the ceremony and Alanna sprang into action and fixed that real fast!) She was a professional through and through. This woman even met with me on several occasions for a few hours at a time to talk through everything, contacted vendors when I didn't have time, and worked out a timeline for day of. She is EXTREMELY organized and is always available to talk. I never waited to hear from her, never had to check in to see how an assignment was going, and never had to worry. She even came through on some last minute changes and wants (like helping me get a photo booth three days before the wedding).
I can't say enough good things about Alanna. I was so impressed with her and envious, truthfully, of how organized she is. She's such a delight to be around, too. Seriously. I could go on and on about this woman like how she handled a five minute meltdown of mine at the reception because I was tired of being in my shoes (so embarrassing and so stupid in retrospect), how she dealt with a photographer not showing up for me, how she and her assistant made sure I was eating and drinking water the entire day, how they made sure my family was comfortable, how they decorated the ceremony when I didn't even plan on decorating, etc. etc.
You won't be disappointed if you hire her. I swear. I don't regret it for one single second and if I have any other parties, this is my go-to girl. In fact, my husband and I are ready to do vow-renewals just so we can hire her to help us plan that party and we've only been married for four days (hah!).
Sincerely, though, thank you, Alanna, for everything. March 2nd was absolutely perfect and beyond what I'd imagined it could be and let me tell you, it wouldn't have been without you in our corner. -

I'd definitely recommend Simply Sweet Weddings to a friend. In fact, I already have. Alanna is new to the business, but she is thorough and friendly. She listens to what you want and makes helpful recommendations. And she does everything with a smile.
We had a few hiccups day of, but Alanna stayed cool through it all—helping fit in surprise guests and herding everyone through our non-traditional exit. She made sure the day was a seamless as possible for us. -

Choosing my husband was the best decision involving my wedding, but choosing to work with Alanna at Simply Sweet Weddings was absolutely the next best decision I made. Thinking we would get a truly "day-of" experience, Alanna surpassed our expectations 1000 times over. She treated me like I was a good friend having a wedding: meeting with us, trekking to our venue when my parents came into town, organizing our rehearsal, and often checking in with me via text and sharing encouraging words with me when times were stressful.
On the day of the wedding, I felt so confident knowing I had someone so organized and invested on my team. Things are bound to not quite go as planned, but Alanna and her team will make you feel prepared and comfortable improvising. When I felt like my bouquet wasn't quite right, Alanna stepped in to go find the extra blooms onsite I'd wanted to add and offered to pin them in. We'd hired two bartenders, one of which did not show up, and her assistant stepped in to help serve drinks all night! My mom told me afterward that she got so nervous seeing Alanna come her way, thinking something had gone wrong, only to have Alanna come ask her how she was doing and if she needed anything--instantly making her calm and feel tended to.
When you meet Alanna you'll get what I'm talking about--she's caring, poised, organized, intelligent, friendly--someone you absolutely want at the helm of the biggest day of your life. I cannot recommend her enough--we've recommended her to all of our closest friends getting married.
I'm honestly wanting to host another big event just to have her there to make it amazing. -

Alanna was just so amazing and helpful. She helped bring a sense of order to what seemed like the most chaotic event I have ever planned. She helped us prioritize items by proximity and also reminded us of things we would have simply not thought to do. Plus she is so dang sweet and easy to work with, I don't know how we would have pulled off such a dream-like event without her. If you're planning on doing it all yourself, get Alanna on board—she's absolutely worth it! -
