Best decision we made for our wedding!
We cannot recommend Tiffany and Simply Breathe Events highly enough!! Tiffany was absolutely AMAZING! From start to finish, she and her team were organized, creative and professional. As someone who has strong opinions about what I liked, but absolutely no ability to envision how things will look once they come together, Tiffany's ability to form of cohesive vision and convey it to me through her design deck was so helpful. In addition to having a beautiful vision, Tiffany was attentive to our budget constraints and recommended top-notch vendors who were all fantastic. She broke up all the wedding to-dos into very manageable monthly tasks and followed through to completion. Tiffany is very responsive to emails, calls and texts. I often had a response within a few hours and never once had to follow up on an unanswered email. What truly set Tiffany apart was her extraordinary support when my mom had to undergo unexpected surgery just two weeks before my wedding. Tiffany quickly helped us hire a videographer to capture the essence of the day for my mom and rearranged the day's schedule to ensure my mom could participate as much as possible. Her compassion and swift action during such a stressful time meant the world to us. I strongly and effusively recommend the SBE team. Thank you, Tiffany!! -

Latoria was the essential piece in making our wedding everything we wanted. As a wedding coordinator she is organized, hard-working, and adept. Just all around good at what she does. On numerous occasions she went beyond our expectations and we had faith that she would solve any problem that came up. On the actual day of the wedding there were only minor problems with vendors, but those problems were handled by Latoria and we never even knew. In the planning months before the wedding we had a few problems with other vendors, but just left those to Latoria and she took care of them. In addition to being incredibly capable, she also projects an air of calm and confidence--a sort of "I got this" attitude. It's settling and really helped calm our nerves. We recommend Latoria without reservation. She is great!! -

After deciding I only needed a planner to help me tie together loose ends in the final stretch of wedding planning, I immediately started looking for a month of planner in the Washington D.C. area who had experience working at our venue The Anderson House with a similar event style. Tiffany and her team stood out from all of the other planners we interviewed not only because of her knowledge of the D.C. wedding scene, but also because of her deep vendor rolodex and willingness to check in and answer any of our questions throughout our planning journey, BEFORE she was contracted to. A lot, if not all of the other planners we talked to gave us the impression that they were only going show up on the day of our wedding not being familiar with anything I had pulled together on my own the months prior.
Tiffany and her team went above and beyond your typical month of coordinator. She miraculously sorted through our confusing catering details, helped update some of our contracts to better suite my vision, and quickly took over all communication with my vendors once her official contracted date began. I cannot thank Simply Breathe Events enough for coming on board and bringing my final wedding vision to life. It really made all the difference in the end and was well worth it! -

Booking Tiffany and her team to help with our wedding was the best decision and wedding purchase we made - hands down. We hired Tiffany for day-of coordination but it was SO much more than that. From the minute we met for coffee, I knew her Type A personality and organization was JUST what we needed. My (now) husband and I are both lawyers and we don't know what we would have done without her given her handling of vendor coordination and planning when we were too swamped with work! Simply Breathe is worth every penny and in fact is the only wedding vendor I have given five star reviews to. In addition to coordinating with vendors before the wedding, she and her team seamlessly handled dealing with rain minutes before our ceremony, construction at our venue just a couple weeks before the wedding, and, apart from the last-minute mini-nightmares, she was ALWAYS there via phone or email when I needed advice or support. I cannot recommend her highly enough; this was by far our best wedding purchase. I can't imagine not having a wedding planner and tell all my friends they need one. We stumbled on SBE via instagram. They are well known in the DMV area and we loved everything we saw on the IG and in their websites. We were so blessed to have gotten Latoria as our day/month of coordinator. She was always so responsive via email and super organized. The package I chose came with a 2-hour meet up, it was super productive and got a lot done. She was very knowledgable about everything I asked and so kind. She came for wedding rehearsal and organized the whole thing. I cannot tell you enough how helpful that was and obviously having her run the show the day of. We truly appreciated how the SBE team (Latoria and assistant) made sure to take care of my husbands grandmother. We were worried about her and leaving her on her own as we did wedding stuff. If there is one advice I have learned by getting married, is that even if you do not think you need a wedding planner or day of coordinator, think again. They will only make your life easier in ways you cannot even begin to imagine. Worth every penny! Also, they send you a cute little welcome package with the most delicious cookies ever! I still cannot get those cookies out of my mind. -

Latoria and her assistant did an amazing job on our wedding day. From start to finish, I didn't have to worry about anything, they took care of everything and it made it more special for me to be able to spend time with family and friends. Tiffany was a pleasure to work with. We picked her after loving designs and photos from past weddings, but we are grateful for her because of all the peace of mind she gave us. We couldn’t imagine our wedding process and big day without Latoria and Jenny. When looking for our vendors, it was important to us to hire women of color - we are so glad we did! With a predominantly Spanish-speaking wedding party, we needed a vendor that would understand the language and cultural dynamics and experiences important to our family and us. We began working with Latoria several months before: she helped manage stress, mitigate crises, and quickly develop solutions. On our wedding day, her and Jenny (our unsung hero) were key to keeping us on schedule, caring for our guests’ needs, and ensuring we had a memorable experience. What started as a vendor relationship quickly morphed to a close friendship to confide in. Being able to work with these ladies daily is the only thing we miss about wedding planning! -

Planning a wedding from the opposite side of the country was difficult, but the best decision we made was to work with Tiffany and Simple Breathe events. We had already chosen vendors and needed someone to put everything together for the day-of coordination and make it all run smoothly - Tiffany was amazing! We had some communication issues with our venue and Tiffany handled them all wonderfully. She was available for any questions we had and was ok with last minute changes to floorplan and timeline. Tiffany and her team definitely followed through on their motto, allowing us to "simply breathe" and enjoy the day. Everyone in our wedding party and all of our parents raved about working with her and her team and we were all so grateful to have her as our coordinator. I would highly recommend Simply Breathe and Tiffany to anyone in need of wedding coordination and planning! -

Deciding to hire Simply Breathe Events for day-of coordination was a total and complete game-changer for me. I was incredibly overwhelmed by the amount of details to work through, especially towards the end of the wedding planning process. It seemed like every time one question was answered, 15 more popped up. As soon as Tiffany and her team came on board, it felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders -- I was actually able to enjoy the weeks leading up to my wedding as well as the wedding day itself ! I would recommend SBE to any bride. (Hint: it doesn't matter how organized you are -- you NEED someone for the day-of!) -

I found SBE through instagram and after reading their reviews, I knew they'd be good. But once we hired them, it was easy to see, that they were amazing, literally a dream come true team.
Latoria went above and beyond all of my expectations of what a Day of Coordinator would be. She's more like a fairy godmother. She answered my emails starting months before, checked in randomly to see how planning was going, and then as we got closer, took all the stress off my hands of vendors and logistics, tracked down ghosty vendors, and assured me my nightmares would not become reality.
On raw day of, SBE was working their butts off setting up all my DIY decor with no complaints on top of organizing all the vendors, handled payments and turned the wedding of my dreams into a reality.
I honestly think I would have had a crappy wedding if it weren't for this team of angels.
SBE was the best vendor decision we made, and I would hire them 100 times if I had to.

We hired Tiffany and her team for Day-Of coordination and they surpassed all of our expectation. Tiffany checked-in with us every month to ask if we had any questions. Whenever we did have a question, she was quick in providing us with an answer. A month before our wedding, Tiffany took over the planning and began communicating with vendors for us, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the process. On the day of the wedding, Tiffany and Chelsie were nothing short of amazing. They ensured that our wedding timeline was followed, everything was set up properly, and made our vision a reality. Simply Breathe Events was seriously worth every single penny and then some. Tiffany and her team truly allow you to Simply Breathe on your wedding day! -
Christiana Sent on 08/06/2018Working with Tiffany and the SBE team was one of the best decisions my husband and I made at the beginning of the wedding planning process. We chose to do the partial planning option, which meant Tiffany took over about 8 weeks before our wedding day. She was available even before then with any questions we had and was constantly checking in with us to make sure we were ok. On the day of our wedding she made sure everything ran smoothly and took care of all the details so we did not have to be bothered with any questions from vendors and could fully enjoy our day. I cannot recommend SBE enough if you are looking for a reliable and professional wedding planner. You will feel supported and excited for your wedding knowing they have your back!

Tiffany eased all of my concerns and allowed me to actually enjoy the wedding planning process. She answered all my questions promptly, has a great list of vendors to refer, and helped us make decisions when we were on the fence about something. I truly felt like everything was under control once we started working with Tiffany. Well, well worth the cost if you want to enjoy your wedding and walk away stress free. The amount of things she and her team did behind the scenes that I dont' even know about is probably lengthy, but I'm so grateful we made the decision to work with them to help make our day everything we dreamed of -

Meg Sent on 04/15/2015I cannot say enough amazing things about Tiffany and Simply Breathe Events!!!! We hired Tiffany for month-of coordination services, and we are SO happy we did!! Tiffany is wonderful- not only is she an incredibly sweet person, she responds quickly to emails, is very easy to reach, and knows what she is doing. Once we were a little over a month away from our wedding, Tiffany took over. She became the point person of our vendors, created the timeline, made sure the vendors were up to speed on when and where they needed to be. You name it, Tiffany handled it. If my husband or I had a question, we would ask Tiffany and she would take care of it. She truly made the last month leading up to our wedding stress free! My husband and I were able to relax and just enjoy the process. The day of our wedding flowed better than we could have ever dreamed- everything was PERFECT!! Tiffany and her assistant, Latoria, were great to work with. My husband and I were so relaxed on our wedding day. We were able to take in absolutely everything and enjoy our amazing day thanks to Tiffany and Latoria. I highly recommend hiring Tiffany and Simply Breathe Events for your wedding, you won't regret it! -

Latoria and her team did a wonderful job as day-of coordinators for our event. She managed outreach and coordination of information to our vendors, did a beautiful job setting up the decor of our venue, and 100% kept her cool as she shifted/plugged-and played agenda items of our timeline due to unforeseen delays. Latoria advocated on our behalf to ensure we got the experience that we wanted and made sure that our only job was to wave goodbye to our guests at the end of the night. We came back to find our decor neatly packaged in our room. Huge thanks to the team for making our wedding happen so smoothly. -

Jessica Sent on 05/21/2018We just got married this past weekend and hired Tiffany as our day of coordinator. This means she really starts helping about a month out getting timelines right and then assumes more responsibility leading up to the day. The wedding itself was smoothly run. We had a small wedding (40 guests), but that doesn't mean you won't need help with getting vendors to show up on time, details, flow, herding people to another room, etc. This was one of my biggest fears after spending so much time planning. Everything went smoothly and I would definitely recommend her!
