From our first Zoom call to the final moments of our ceremony, Becky’s professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personality made the entire process seamless and unforgettable. Throughout the year, she collaborated with us via Zoom and email, providing a curated list of top-notch service providers, including an incredible hair and makeup team, a talented photographer, and a baker who delivered a stunningly delicious cake that our guests raved about. Every vendor was prompt, professional, and perfectly aligned with our vision.
Becky’s elegant and tasteful wedding format was a perfect fit for the island setting, and her meticulous planning ensured everything ran smoothly. She even arranged a hassle-free appointment for our marriage license right after we landed, making the process effortless. On the day of, all we had to do was show up with big smiles. Becky handled every detail flawlessly. Her husband was a gem, capturing candid photos and recording our ceremony on my husband’s phone, giving us a cherished keepsake while the professional photographer worked her magic. The flowers were breathtaking, exactly what we envisioned.

Hawaiian Wedding Dream ❤️
Working with Becky was hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding. Since we had never been to the island, we were naturally a bit nervous, but Becky’s local expertise and endless recommendations put us at ease immediately. It was also the first time visiting for our entire family, and they were absolutely stunned by how beautiful and seamless everything was; they haven't stopped talking about how much they enjoyed the celebration. Becky is an absolute pro—incredibly responsive, organized, and proactive. She checked in constantly to ensure every detail was perfect before, during, and even after the ceremony. We felt completely taken care of and could actually enjoy our day because we trusted her so much. Kona beach wedding
From start to finish, Becky planned, reassured, and was so professional. We spoke with her twice before, she knew a bit about us, had suggestions for flowers, ceremony, locations etc. The day of our ceremony she and her husband photographer, met us at the beach at Four Seasons. The actual ceremony was emotional, had Hawaiian meaningful words and rituals that meant so much to us. Great photos too. We feel like we got so lucky choosing Becky and Simple Kona Beach Weddings. -

Becky at simple kona beach weddings did an awesome coordination of our 50th anniversary Wedding vow renewal.
We worked with Becky on what we wanted. Becky even ordered flowers that matched all the colors in my dress.
Becky planned, coordinated and performed a beautiful Hawaiian beach ceremony with a flower heart that we stood in for our vows.
Becky coordinated everything superbly with the photographer we hired ( plus her husband took pictures with my cell phone) and worked with the live stream team we hired, so everything went perfect. Becky even made the dinner reservations for us at the restaurant we had chosen.
We would highly recommend simple kona beach Weddings.

Let's do this again!
Before my wife (YAY!) and I drove away from Kukio Beach parking lot where we were married, I said, "That was so much fun we have to do it again!!" LOL! In all seriousness though, we could not have had a more perfect wedding. And the best part was how effortless Becky with Simple Kona Beach Weddings made it look. From the most beautiful location, permits, marriage license meeting, and dinner reservations, to the flowers, Ukulele music by Ali'i and professional photography (These photos are just the ones her husband Matt took with my iPhone -and they are AMAZING - we can't wait to get Karen's photos!) our wedding could not have been more filled with ease, joy, laughter, deep heartfelt spirit and love. Such a wonderful combination that we truly know we gained friends for a lifetime!
It is rare to feel so comfortable around people you just met. Jenn and I were celebrated and held in the most beautiful way during Becky's officiating, that we truly felt incredible ease on our big day. To feel so comfortable expressing ourselves to the deepest level with people you just met, is rare and so very precious. Thank you Simple Kona Beach Weddings... We'd give you 10 stars if we could.

A dream come true!!!
A dream come true!!!
When my husband and I married 23.5 years ago, we just had a ceremony. We were in Hawaii to celebrate our daughter's graduation and Becky helped me plan the most wonderful surprise vow renewal. She took care of all the details on the island and was very responsive on any questions. Her recommendations were spot on. I had a conference call with her as the first step. She took the time to understand us and what I envisioned and then planned everything for us, but always getting feedback to make sure the choices aligned with what I wanted/envisioned. The results were beyond all expectations!!! She even helped coordinate a cake to be made at our dinner location after the event. Her personality and experience and professionalism will give you the ceremony you have always dreamed of. Matt was awesome at capturing all the moments of the ceremony and after. The Hawaiian elements added to the ceremony made this extra special for us. I cannot say enough great and positive things about Becky and Matt! Small but Perfect Wedding
Our wedding day was picture perfect all thanks to Becky! She was fantastic to work with from our initial call. We were so nervous planning this special day from so far away, but Becky took control and managed everything. We couldn't have been more pleased or impressed with anyone else! Becky was professional, knowledgeable, honest and kind and made us comfortable planning a wedding so far away.
Becky listened to everything we felt was important, but also incorporated local customs into the ceremony, making it truly memorable. She kept in touch with us and had several planning phone calls to finalize details. She thought of everything! We really enjoyed her dinner recommendations as well as tours and special things to see. She set up a "rehearsal dinner" and wedding night dinner for our small group and both were unbelievable venues and meals. She gave suggestions for hair and make-up based on my ideas, and coordinated meetings and communication.
The day of the wedding, all we had to do was follow her timing directions and everything was taken care of. Sunset was during and after the ceremony, making it the perfect day. Becky and Matt both made our group feel like family. We can't wait to reminisce if we make it back to Hawaii!

We were to be married in Kona in 2014 on the Beach. A hurricane had different ideas, and we had to move inside. When our 10th anniversary came around, we reached out to Becky to renew our vows on the beach. She handled every detail with such professionalism and empathy for our desire to have that beach experience. The location and the weather and the ceremony itself were perfect as were Becky's heartfelt words to us. She fulfilled a long-waited dream of ours and we are so grateful to her. During the winter, my daughter in law and found Simple Kona Beach Weddings and got in contact with Becky. Almost right away I determined that we contacted the right vendor and Becky would be the one to work with.

I can't say enough good things about Becky. She feels like an old friend even though she just married us last week and we only first met via Zoom two months ago. Becky exudes warmth and positivity and gave us the most perfect wedding ceremony. I couldn't have planned it better myself, and the best part was that I didn't have to! It was so nice that she gave us every opportunity for input, but then made everything happen seamlessly. She is so gifted at planning and executing weddings, but more importantly, she is able to connect with people, make their wedding special, and put them at ease. The only thing that I worried about in choosing to get married on the beach in Hawaii was the humidity/heat causing me to be a sweaty mess. Well, that definitely happened! But Becky kept me from getting upset, blotted my face herself, brought a chair for me to cool off in, and made everything perfect. Her husband, Matt, is a ray of sunshine, too. I'm a teacher, a mom, so for me, planning for a life event is stressful-- Becky made it easy. She was immediately responsive to my inquiries at the outset (which is one of the reasons I actually decided to go with her as opposed to another wedding vendor I had been considering); she put my husband-to-be and I at ease, continued to communicate and update us regularly and made extremely helpful recommendations. Our first meeting laid the groundwork; it was our getting to know each other meeting and info on what we might expect in getting married in Hawaii, especially during Covid. When we were done with the Zoom, we knew we would be taken care of. Becky didn't disappointment; from decorations, to marriage license, to location and then events we wanted to plan after the ceremony, Becky was on it. She met us the night before our wedding, guided us to the location, which was a bit tricky to find, so I am glad we did it the night before. She walked us through the ceremony. The day of, the weather was beautiful, and the decorations fit so well, even with the flower selection being a bit limited since we married in November. The heart and flower pathway were amazing. I was nervous during the ceremony, and she simply encouraged us to be ourselves.

More like Perfect Kona Beach Wedding!
I planned my wedding on 04.03.2020 and just a week before the wedding, COVID shut down everything. Becky was extremely responsive with keeping me up-to-date on all the restrictions and requirements to travel to Hawaii. We decided to reschedule for 04.03.2021. Becky stayed in communication with me and my now husband for the whole year. She was and still is absolutely amazing. I felt like I didn't have to lift a finger to do anything on my wedding day except show up. She provided an amazing list of resources and vendors. All of which were amazing. On our wedding day, Becky's ceremony was so meaningful and beautiful. Her husband, Matt, took candid photos of our big day and he was so much fun to work with. He definitely made us laugh and smile in all of our photos. I don't know if Becky knows it, but she is one of those people who shared a very special moment with us, and she will forever be a part of our life. If you want your special day to be perfect, Becky can make it happen! She is incredible at what she does and she thinks of EVERYTHING...I mean everything! Becky is so wonderful to work with. I found her on Google when searching for a virtual vow renewal as a way to celebrate our 6th anniversary during this very odd year. My husband and I love Hawaii and thought a vow renewal virtually from the Big Island would be perfect. I reached out to Becky and she was so responsive, kind, professional, and helpful. She had a phone call with us ahead of time to discuss logistics and ideas for our renewal, gave us recommendations of where to purchase leis (we shipped them to the East Coast from Hawaii!), and checked in a few times before our FaceTime vow renewal to see if we had any questions. When the day came, she was very responsive and organized and facilitated a sweet and meaningful ceremony, complete with a lava rock/Ti leaf blessing and lei exchange. She brought Hawaii to us from thousands of miles away and we hope to do a renewal again in the future with her - in person! -

Hiring Becky was the best decision we made, after deciding to get married! :) Her website is a wealth of information, she is attentive, professional, fun, knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to work with! We knew we wanted a beach wedding in Hawaii, but that was about all we knew. Becky secured us a private beach (which we would have never discovered on our own), and it was the most amazing view I have ever witnessed. She was there with me throughout the planning, every step of the way. She listened to what we wanted, and made the ceremony represent us as a family. OMG. Becky was fantastic. When I hired Becky for my wedding on the Big Island I had certain expectations. I was nervous because I live in Florida and had never been to Hawaii. Planing every detail from so far seemed a little overwhelming. Becky was so informative and made everything seem easy. She helped with recommendations on the florist, hair and makeup, photography, venues, restaurants, and even took care of the special permit needed for the beach location we choose.
However, it was the ceremony itself that really blew me away. She did such a great job. She made it so personal and special for us. Hiring her to officiate our wedding was by far our best decision. -

Destination Wedding That Exceeded Expectations
We contacted Becky with Simple Kona Beach weddings 45 days before our arrival on the Big Island. Becky was very friendly and professional and put us at ease during the entire planning process. She covered all of the options and details we would need to decide on prior to our arrival on island. (Marriage license, ceremony location, choice of leis, wedding vows, photo package, etc). Becky was very thorough in covering all pre-ceremony details. Once we arrived we asked to meet with Becky to briefly make our introductions and lay eyes on the beach where the ceremony would take place. Again, Becky was very gracious when we met with her and was flexible in making minor adjustments to our requests.
On the day of the ceremony Becky sent us a personalized text letting us know she was available if we had any last minute needs. This was a great touch as we each had a few minor "wedding day jitters".
At the ceremony we met Becky and her husband Matt at the beach location. It was nice getting to know them pre-ceremony and it put both of us at ease. The ceremony was very professional, romantic and tasteful. Interspersed with what we were expecting in a traditional wedding ceremony were some Hawaiian cultural traditions which really helped to memorialize our very special occasion.
Matt did an outstanding job with our photos, Becky later sent us several photos that she herself had taken post ceremony and overall they exceeded our expectations on so many levels and we truly appreciate their attention to detail.

We would highly recommend Becky to perform a wedding if you plan on marrying on the big island. We were sailing on Norwegian’s Pride ship which made a stop in Kona. We are grateful to Becky for helping us get organized before the wedding, and most importantly amazed by the beautiful ceremony she performed with us on a boat off the Kona shore. Becky is very organized and wonderful to be with. She brought beautiful flowers for the leis, bouquet, and heart to stand in, in addition to other fun surprises and traditions for the ceremony. Becky included our children and captivated our friends and family. Becky also spent the day on a boat with us, which was epic, and even jumped in the water to swim with a whale shark (what a surprise!). We are still heavily smiling when we think about our big day and looking at the beautiful pictures at the stunning Kona beach. From the first contact on, later via calls and emails during the preparation phase and finally face-to-face in Kona, Becky was always very interested in our wishes and needs, had always very considerative recommendations and she was always relaxed, nice and excited to organize our wedding. Traveling from Europe, it was crucial for us that the wedding planner takes care of all items around our wedding. We wanted a simple beach wedding, but still it is a once in a lifetime event and should be something special. And this is exactly what Beckyś service stands for! In a very professional and well organized manner, Becky provided us with a real No-brainer package, we only needed to show up at the beach and smile. The whole ceremony was just awesome; Becky used well chosen, beautiful words, arranged amazing colorful flowers, perfectly made leis and prepared exactly the tropical flower bucket, we asked for. She advised a very talented and passionate photographer (Hannah Cooper). She further arranged a delicious picnic (thanks to Matt) and organized a very good and funny ukulele player. So, all we asked for was there, and everything was even better than we would have ever imagined. Becky and the whole team around Simple Kona Beach Weddings welcomed us in such a warm and friendly manner, that we felt like among friends, even though we traveled alone to Hawaii. Additionally, it is worthwhile to mention, that Becky provided several very good recommendations for restaurants, assisted us with the marriage license arrangements and via her network we could book some great activities. So as said, everything was just awesome and we can only highly recommend Simple Kona Beach Weddings to every couple, who is looking for a simple beach wedding with a unique and personalized touch. -

Putting your trust in a complete stranger, on the other side of the world for one of the biggest days of your life was nerve-racking to say the least, but after chatting to Becky over both email and phone calls on WhatsApp, I knew that we were in good hands. She was happy to find out information for me and respond very quickly so I wasn’t hanging out for an answer.
Working with Becky was a lovely and stress-free experience. The flowers provided were absolutely beautiful and smelt divine and I also had a haku made which really made it special. The spot that Becky chose was picture perfect and more than I could ever dream of (and definitely nothing like it in Australia!). Becky organised all the paperwork that we needed and guided us through the application process. She also sorted out the beach passes that we needed for the day and provided maps and directions on how to get there which were incredibly helpful for people not from Hawai’i.
Matt was also great and took a tonne of photos for us on my camera so we didn’t have to wait for the professional photos and were just as stunning.
Becky kept the whole evening light and fun and made it incredibly special. If you’re reading this and are considering eloping, I can’t recommend using Becky enough. Even though you’re away from friends and family, it felt like they were all there and like we had known Becky and Matt a lot longer than we had and that they actually cared about us.
They made our night extraordinary.

If it were possible, I would give Becky and Matt a THOUSAND STARS! Yes, they're that amazing. If you're looking for a low-stress, unforgettable wedding, this is it. Becky answered questions that we didn't even know we had, kept us up-to-date during planning, and has awesome client resources on her site for everything. Meeting her and Matt was a treat - they made us feel special, like our wedding *mattered* to them. In a day and age when it seems like fewer and fewer people deep-down *care* about others, they stand head-and-shoulders above the crowd. Simple. Kona. Beach. Weddings. We got what was advertised, topped off with an ocean of Aloha Spirit. Matt's photography skills are now legend. He used now-hubby's iPhone 10 and one of my colleagues commented that we could use the shots as professional stock photos. I can't express how fortunate I feel to have literally stumbled across Becky in a Google search. I couldn't be happier! -

Our Perfect Day
So, it is a bit ironic that a “stranger” was such an important figure in one of the most important days in our lives. We took a risk based on online research and reviews and hired Becky to help with our wedding in Kona. We are glad we took a risk on this stranger; what an amazing person she turned out to be. We are so thankful to have found her. Becky was very responsive, thoughtful, helpful, and all around great throughout the entire process. On our wedding day we met Becky and her husband Matt in person. Again, she (in this case, they) didn’t disappoint. Becky did a wonderful job officiating our wedding and even stayed around afterwards while we were going through our photo session (we hired one of the photographers recommend by Becky) and took several pictures of us with her phone and shared them with us later on that day (over 100 pictures). Also, Matt used one of our phones to record the ceremony; the videos turned out great.
Finally, as a same sex couple we couldn’t be happier with the way we were treated. We felt comfortable and welcomed. Becky and Matt (and Josh – the photographer) truly demonstrated happiness for us. So; if you are planning a wedding in the Big Island, I strongly recommend you work with Becky, she will help you to make your day unforgettable.

Watch out Gal Gadot, I think Becky is the real wonder woman! The thought of planning a wedding stressed me out and I just wanted to elope but I didn't because I am more scared of my mom killing me if I did that. So Becky literally saved my life! I have no clue how to plan a regular party let alone a wedding celebration! From food to flowers to photographer to music to table/chair rentals, Becky knows the best people for the job! She did EVERYTHING! She was there literally from the start when we had nothing planned until the end of the party. Then even after the party, she and her husband were the first to share the best photos! -

The only way to get married in Kona!
We were lucky enough to find Becky and Matt to coordinate our tiny wedding and they did a spectacular job. They exceeded every expectation we could have.
We thought this ceremony would be awkward with just us and our son but it was so much fun. The spot they chose was perfectly remote and it felt like we were on our own private beach.
They did a beautiful job setting up the site with a heart make of flower petals and all of the traditional Hawaiian ceremony accompaniments.
I told Becky I was worried I would cry through the ceremony and she was just a delight. She kept it light and fun yet deeply meaningful.
Matt took about a thousand photos on our phones so we wouldn’t have to wait 6 weeks for the photographers final photos (photographer was great too).
Becky told me that she decided a few years ago to focus her life on Love and it’s clear that she’s doing her life’s work.

Her communication with us from the very first day all the way up to the day of our ceremony was on point. We really valued the full on communication, open dialogue and the utmost professionalism. She listened, and was very involved with helping us find our voice for the overall feel of our ceremony, gently guiding and helping us stay on task and on point. We didn't want the traditional ceremony, and wanted to really incorporate Hawaiian tradition with our own traditions. She was open to making this work, getting to know us and crafting a ceremony that was truly meant for us.
We were planning this from a far, and she was instrumental in helping us find the right vendors that fit our personalities and needs. And the florist she works with... HIRE HER TOO!!! Becky has an incredible relationship with, in our opinion, one of the most amazing florists on the island, and can help you coordinate and design your beautiful floral pieces.
Most importantly, I think we found a lifetime friend in Becky, and are so happy we connected and can call her our friend. She helped make our little ceremony magical and memorable. All of our guests are still talking about how meaningful, and beautiful her words and ceremony was.

I am a little late in getting our review posted (we were married 9/10/18), but we wanted to say how grateful we are for the beautiful wedding that Becky made possible for us! From the initial email contact and first phone call, it was evident that Becky wanted us to have the wedding that we envisioned. She was very helpful giving guidance, and very patient with all of our questions. She recommended an amazing local artist, Matt Hanato, to play and sing at our wedding. (His music was the perfect accompaniment to the beautiful scenery.) Robert Malovic was the professional photographer that took amazing pictures of our sunset wedding, and Becky's husband also took over 200 pictures that added to our memories of the special occasion! Truly a Special Day

Catherine Sent on 08/11/2018When we first thought about getting married, we knew we wanted something simple with our two children. Once we planned our trip to Hawaii, we knew that's where we wanted to tie the knot. We are so happy we found Becky.
We were a little bit concerned about our wedding as we are from Quebec, Canada. But Becky was really helpful and she took time to answer all of our questions. She even called me a few weeks before! She took care of everything. She suggested a few beaches and we chose a wonderful beach with lava rocks, palm trees and a beautiful landscape. We couldn't ask for a better place.
Becky and her husband Matt are so friendly and even our kids, who don't speak English, thought they were great people. We asked Matt to take pictures with my cell phone during the ceremony and we have sooooo many of them that it's hard to choose the best ones! :) Thanks Matt !
As English is our second language, we laughed a lot but everyone there was respectful.
