  Significant Events of Texas is the Best!

  Meredith was everything we could have asked for in a wedding coordinator and then some! She always went above and beyond with suggestions and keeping us on track during the planning process. I always knew we were in good hands, and she helped to alleviate any stress that comes with wedding planning. Wedding day went so smoothly. If there were any mishaps, I would have no idea as everything flowed so perfectly. Our guests have been raving about how much fun they had and how it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I never once felt like we were missing something or we weren't on schedule, etc. Meredith did everything to ensure we were having the time of our lives and enjoying our special day.

  Hire Meredith to take the stress off wedding day!

  I chose the partial planning package. My husband (like many other husbands) did not really see the value of hiring a planner, but by wedding week, he was so glad we hired Meredith.
  
  Meredith helped us:
  1) Vet vendors even if she had not personally worked with them
  2) Review contracts
  3) Create a wedding day timeline
  4) Answer wedding questions about how much, how many, and when
  5) Took care of problems on wedding day without you knowing (bartenders didn't show up, late family members)
  6) Picked up all wedding items week of wedding day so you don't have to worry about packing
  7) Bustled my dress and securely pinned my veil
  8) Grabbed drinks for us and our guests during dinner
  9) All set up so the entire bridal party could relax and enjoy
  10) Create an alcohol shopping list based on our headcount
  ...and more!

  Two words: Hire Meredith!! Bringing her on as our planner was the BEST decision. Extremely efficient, professional and personable. She and her team made my daughter’s dream wedding a reality and took so much pressure off of this mother-of-the-bride. To have my daughter say her wedding was “perfect” was absolutely priceless. Meredith is also extremely well-versed in the industry and has many connections to choose vendors that are the perfect match for you. Meredith took the time to help me plan around my crazy schedule and made me feel calm throughout the entire wedding planning process! Hiring Meredith was the key to making our wedding day so successful! If you’re not sure whether or not you should hire a wedding planner, I highly recommend you do!! Meredith and her team are absolutely wonderful and well worth the investment.

  Meredith is an outstanding wedding coordinator

  I wanted to share our thoughts and appreciation of the incredible job you did of managing and coordinating every detail of my daughter and son-in-laws rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, day of the wedding, wedding ceremony and the reception. I want to first say that your professionalism shined through with the way you spoke to everyone, from vendors, to bridal party to the bride and groom. Everyone was at ease in your presence. I don’t know how you managed to be in five places at once, but every time I turned around, I saw your smiling face gently guiding us all through your well-organized time line. Every detail was covered including passing out breath mints to the bridesmaids before going down the aisle.
  
  I never once worried about anything because I knew you had it well in hand. You allowed my husband and me to be present in the moment at our daughter’s wedding and to be a guest at our own party. And that was a huge gift.

  Seamless wedding experience!!

  Meredith and her assistants were AMAZING!!!!!! Everything went perfectly all thanks to her! She knows how to command a room and get things done and is super nice to work with so you feel completely calm and assured that she will get everything handled! I would book with her over and over and will recommend her to every one of my friends who are getting married.

  I’d do it all over again!

  We booked Meredith after having a poor experience elsewhere and I wish we had found her sooner - our wedding planning experience was a complete 180! She made the planning process so seamless that it was actually fun and far from stressful from creating the timelines, picking up event items from the house and handling any issues that came up without us knowing. Good communication was our main requirement and she exceeded all expectations - she constantly stayed in contact giving us updates and making sure we completed our part. We never felt like we were alone where she also made suggestions on things we didn't even think of which in turn either saved us money or prevented us from forgetting something important. Our family and friends still mention how our wedding was one of the most organized and on time weddings they’ve been to and we owe it all to Meredith! We’d absolutely recommend or hire the team again for future events!

  Meredith exceeded all expectations in the wedding planning process. Even being a part of many weddings in the past, I was overwhelmed with all of the action items, options, and decisions to prepare for the big day. Meredith was very thorough in communication, logistics, managing and exceeding expectations, and overall keeping the bride and groom calm during the planning process. We are Dallas natives and were given so much insight to vendors we've never heard of, all of which contributed to making it a spectacular weekend! Wedding day went off seamlessly. The vendor coordination was on point. Meredith worked behind the scenes to prepare an incredible weekend of events, and her assistants did an excellent job taking care of the rest, including making sure the wedding party had everything they needed. We got so much positive feedback from guests on our wedding being the best and funnest wedding they've ever been to! I attribute much of that to the incredible work of Significant Events of Texas.

  The best wedding planner!

  What a gift Meredith was to our families! I'm so thankful for her kindness, patience, and guidance and, most of all, for sharing her vast knowledge of weddings and rehearsal dinners! It was such a pleasure to work with her, and I hope we get to do it again in the future. She is so awesome at what she does, and we are so grateful to have had her help with our son’s rehearsal dinner. I She made the process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. I have recommended her to some friends for their kids' weddings and they have also sung her praises. Highly recommend!

  There are no words to capture just how much Meredith did to make our big day everything we could’ve dreamed of and more! Meredith was helpful, resourceful, knowledgeable and dependable both before, during, and even after our wedding. I had a very specific vision in mind for my wedding design and my husband and I had a few out-of-the-box ideas we wanted to do, and she helped execute everything flawlessly — from recommending wonderful vendors, to coming up with new ideas and even finding alternative/last minute solutions whenever we needed. We truly couldn’t have done it without her and her team. One of the things that impressed me most about Meredith was her responsiveness — you could always count on her when you needed to talk through something, and she even went out of her way for us the day after other weddings (which are typically the days when exhaustion is at its peak for busy planners like her!). Moreover, she has continued to be there even AFTER the wedding ended with various odds and ends.   I would give Meredith Commender and Significant Events of Texas the highest recommendation for planning my daughter’s wedding. The event was completely planned for May and then Covid 19 struck.
  When everything had to be changed with all of the vendors and the new dates had to work for everyone, I was so relieved that we had a wedding planner as experienced and professional as Meredith. We had a coronavirus wedding that anyone would be proud of! It was beautiful and intimate and had the same feel of the originally planned wedding, just a bit smaller. We look forward to doing a celebratory party next year for all of the original invited guests.

  Boss turned Wedding Visionary

  Before Meredith was our wedding coordinator, she was my boss for about 4 years through college. When it comes to planning my own wedding, I knew I could only put my trust in one woman's hands! If you are looking for a planner whose passion is perfection, look no further! 10/10 recommend!

  Organized, detailed, perfect execution

  I am so thankful to have had Aly as my wedding coordinator. I was initially planning on having family members help coordinate, but what a mistake that would have been! Aly was very organized and asked me questions I had never thought of when planning wedding details. She had a detailed agenda and kept all my wedding vendors informed and coordinated. She also kept the wedding party organized and on time. I don't know what I would have done without her, she did an AMAZING JOB and my entire wedding day went so smoothly!! I knew my special day was in the right hands and didn't stress the entire day. I highly recommend!

  A+ Experience from a Wedding Photographer

  I've worked with Significant Event's of Texas as a photographer a few times now and I gotta say - "WOW!" they are on TOP of things! From a vendor's standpoint, it's difficult to sometimes get everyone on the same page but they work diligently to keep everyone in line by ensuring that we have a schedule, pre-emptively planning so that all the 'ah-ha's' are taken cared...so by the time you get to the wedding, you're well-prepared and ready to tackle the wedding. Throughout the day, they're working with vendors to ensure that the plan will be executed...but they're also there to ensure that the little details are taken cared of as well...the dress is straight, the flowers are perfect, the lighting is just right. A sign of experience and confidence! Meredith and their entire team is just incredible and I promise they are one of the best in the business. I never leave vendor reviews, but after working with their team a handful of times, I had to let everyone know what I think of them and personally I trust them fully...you will love your wedding with Meredith and her team taking care of you!

Throughout the day, they're working with vendors to ensure that the plan will be executed...but they're also there to ensure that the little details are taken cared of as well...the dress is straight, the flowers are perfect, the lighting is just right. A sign of experience and confidence! Meredith and their entire team is just incredible and I promise they are one of the best in the business. I never leave vendor reviews, but after working with their team a handful of times, I had to let everyone know what I think of them and personally I trust them fully...you will love your wedding with Meredith and her team taking care of you!

  The absolute best

  I honestly don’t even have the words to express how grateful and overwhelmed I am for Meredith and all she did to make my wedding absolutely perfect. Event. Single. Detail was remarkable, and we could have never done it without her! She made the whole night go so so smoothly and even had to pin my dress 400 times LOL!! She was my fairy godmother during my wedding weekend. It meant so much, and we love her! Seriously if anything went wrong we had no idea. It all just seemed so so so perfect, and we are so happy she was there!

  I don't have enough words to describe how wonderful Meredith was through the entire planning process, up until the very end of the wedding. She may very well be THE Superwoman. I'm from DFW, but I currently live halfway around the world in Hong Kong, and even then Meredith still killed it and made my life a million times easier through the planning process.   Meredith did an amazing job on my daughter's wedding in Dallas. She was extremely professional and made the day run perfectly. It was a beautiful wedding and I can't say enough wonderful things about Meredith. She made the process and the day run smoothly and beautifully. Fabulous job and thank you is just not enough.

  If you are looking for a wedding coordinator look no further than Significant Events! Seriously - if you are lucky enough to have Meredith Commender (or one of her team) available on your wedding date book them now! Our wedding turned out PERFECTLY and it is all due to MEREDITH and her team! I cannot image how we could have done this without her! Meredith is absolutely one of the most detailed, responsive and positive people I've ever met. I don't think I ever went more than POSSIBLY two hours without a response to a question and she was absolutely lovely to work with.
  
  First - she has an incredible team of vendors that are tried and true that she works with so we knew that anyone who she referred us to would be great AND THEY WERE!
  Second - she is so detail-oriented. I could not have been more relaxed on our daughter's wedding day because I knew Meredith had already gone through every detail (I could not believe the timeline she put together and how she had everything timed down to the minute.) If anything went wrong, I never knew about it and Meredith was so great about checking with us to make sure we had everything we needed.
  Third - her design was amazing! We basically told her what we wanted, gave her MANY boxes of photos, signs, escort cards, window panes with seating cart, decorative items, etc. and along with her team and our incredible florist (Petals Couture) they turned two beautiful spaces into a personalized, GORGEOUS wedding ceremony and reception. Seriously, Meredith left our home a week before the wedding with a truck-load of items and we told her to just do what she thought looked best and she came up with the most beautiful and creative design -were were beyond thrilled.
  Fourth - she was dependable and fun to work with! She made the very stressful process of planning a wedding fun and while I am sure I drove her crazy numerous times she never let on! Much more to add but out of space so I'll just say HIRE MEREDITH :)

  Dream Wedding!

  can’t say enough about my experience with Meredith as my wedding planner. So many of our guests said that our wedding was the most fun and most beautiful wedding that they had ever been to! And, of course, we had an amazing time and were able to fully enjoy the event (and food and drink!) without having to worry about anything at all. There is no way we could have pulled it off without Meredith and her team. Even a few years later, my mother still says Meredith was worth every penny and then some. She was amazing to work with and we would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone else who needs event planning!

  I had a great experience with Meredith. She made this a very easy and enjoyable process! She helped make it less stressful on my family and we did not have any fights over wedding stuff. She made my dream wedding come to life. I cannot thank her enough for all the work she put into my special day. It was the best day of my life and Meredith helped make it perfect!
  My day was absolutely perfect and that was because of Meredith. She listened to everything I wanted and made it happen. It was everything I had ever wanted and dreamed of. I loved every minute of it and wish that I could do it again and again with the help of Meredith!

I told her the vibe I wanted (English garden), and she helped me pick the right color scheme, flowers, decorations, venue, lighting and invitations to match.
