Red Carpet Ready is top notch!

I was married on 10/05/19 and I selected Red Carpet Ready Makeup as my makeup artist on my special day. She was perfect! Trust me, I hand picked Shauné after doing my homework. Her website was professional, she had great before/after shots, her look was fabulous and when I consulted with her she was very pleasant and professional. Shaune, thank you for providing makeup services for my wedding on Saturday. It was so important to me to have an artist with a spirit that would be positive, calming, warm on that day as I prepared to embark upon such an important journey. The makeup was important of course but the atmosphere around me was also critical to me. You provided exactly that and more and I absolutely loved my makeup (I didn't want to wash it off!!). It was great just to sit in the chair and let you work your magic! My family members also loved their makeup as well. Thank you so much for everything.

Shaune nailed my look for our wedding! My maid of honor and I were running a little behind schedule on the big day but Shaune was there waiting for us and ready to get started right away! When I say everyone looked amazing!!!! I can’t not express how professional, down to earth, and talented Shaune and her team is. She makes you feel comfortable. She stays around to make sure you are touched up and perfected before she leaves. She also leaves you will extra makeup supplies so that you can stay perfect through your whole wedding. She also did my makeup for my engagement photos which is a great way to get to know each other before the big day. She can also suggest a hair styles who was amazing as well. Shaune Hayes is a makeup ARTIST.

I am a person who loves to do my own makeup and think I am pretty good at it. For my wedding I wanted someone who was really going to do something special/above and beyond. Shaune was it. Right from the trial I was thrilled. Shaune's prices reflect her expertise and the quality of service she provides. Her and her team are awesome professionals who are easy to work with and fun to spend time with. The day of the wedding, Shaune, Felicia and LJ were prompt to my hotel. They set up and began the magic. My mom was worried about too heavy or too much makeup and they respected her request while still creating a stunning look for her. My Mother and my bridesmaids looked incredible!!

My groom and I did a first look with bridal party photos before the ceremony. We trounced all over in the blazing June sun but everyone's hair and makeup stayed perfect. Incredibly, even through the entire night of crazy dancing, our hair and makeup stayed perfect. One bridesmaid has Rosacea and says she normally looks purple after dancing. When she went to the ladies room, she could not believe that she still had perfect skin tone and makeup. I could not have been happier with my experience. I looked incredible at my wedding and I look incredible in my wedding photos! Thank you Shaune, Felicia and LJ !!

I had a wonderful experience working with Shauné. She was professional, responsive, and full of positive energy. She has a lovely studio in Maryland where I went for my trial, which I used the day of my engagement shoot. She facilitated a relaxing session and chose makeup and colors that served me well. I absolutely loved what she did. On my wedding day, she arrived early and worked on my bridesmaids and Maid of Honor. Everyone looked GORGEOUS. It was a fun and exciting process. My makeup looked out of this world. Many of my friends are now following her on instagram because they liked her work so much. I really like Shauné as a person and an artist and look forward to working with her again. My mom really enjoyed meeting her as well. Shaune is extremely personable and truly skilled in her profession. I have searched high and low for make-up artists that specialize in bridal make-up, and trust me they don't come a dime a dozen. Shaune gives her clients the perfect touch required for wedding photos without masking a bride's individual beauty. Who wants to review the photos of their special day and think "is that me?" ? Shaune and her team are AMAZING!! I was so concerned about finding a group of beauty professionals that were well rounded in dealing with hair & makeup for women of color, and they melted away all my fears. From our first consultation I knew me and my bridal party were in the right hands! The services I received were hair and makeup for me and my mother as well as makeup for my mother-in-law, bridesmaids, jr. bridesmaid and flower girls. I contacted Shaune Hayes to inquire about make up about two months before my wedding. My initial phone consultant was quite pleasant, communicative and comprehensive. We set up an appointment for a preview makeup session. She explained the basic composition of the make up and proceeded to give me a preview of what i would look like on my wedding day according to my specifications. I was more the satisfied. She showed up early to my hotel room on my wedding and completed my make up to my satisfaction. My pictures came out fabulous. I received so many compliments, and the service was worth every dime. What can I say about Shauné Hayes? So much and all good! I truly can say that her talent is remarkable. She did my makeup for mine and my husband’s Black Tie 20th Anniversary Party on March 25, 2017. I hired Shaune to do my friend's wedding makeup on her special day. I live in Texas and my friend was getting married in Washington, DC and I wanted her to have a wonderful makeup artist to do her wedding day makeup but had to rely on Google reviews and website pictures and hope for the best. Shaune was everything I hoped for. She replied to my inquiry within minutes, sent me a professional contract and answered all the questions I had to set this up as a surprise for the bride. She asked me for an inspiration picture and a picture of my friend so she would have an idea of what she wanted. She showed up early the day of the wedding and the makeup she did was beautiful (and was in line with the inspiration picture I sent her - natural, glamorous and beautiful). She is a true talented professional and I'm glad I found her and was able to book her to do my friend's makeup. Shaune is tied for first place for my favorite wedding vendor. She is AMAZING and I have some serious love for her as a person and a professional. Hair and make-up was probably the most important thing to me (forget florals! look at meeee!) and so Shaune was the very first vendor I booked. I knew I wanted to look as beautiful as possible for my wedding and when I saw Shaune's portfolio I knew I had to hire her. Shaune and two of her artists worked their magic on a total of 11 ladies for my wedding. These ladies were half-Vietnamese and half-Indian, Trinidadian, and half-Ugandan and half-Sierra Leonian. Basically, it doesn't matter the color of your skin, Shaune can do it. It doesn't matter your hair type, if you book Shaune for hair and make-up she will make sure everyone is taken care of.

Do not hesitate to book Shaune if you are nervous about the price she is WORTH EVERY PENNY! Aside from her talent, she makes sure to stock a huge array of high quality products. That alone would cost hundreds of dollars if you were to do your make-up yourself (and you still would not have as many products as her and her team!). Also, I don't know about you, but there is no way I could do what Shaune does even if I watched 100 youtube tutorials! She will seriously make you look breathtakingly beautiful. While I was getting my make up done whenever someone walked by me I would hear a gasp and see a huge smile spread across their face (and Shaune wasn't even done yet!). Shaune's team continued to do touch ups throughout the day and made adjustments as necessary (i.e. one person wanted to remove her eyelashes because she wasn't used to them, etc.). Most importantly, getting ready with Shaune and her team was so much fun! My ladies loved hanging out with them and I know I didn't want them to leave when they finished! If I ever have to book hair and makeup for anything in the future I will go with Shaune. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BOOK SHAUNE NOW!!!

Shaune was AMAZING to work with. I felt absolutely stunning, and her personality made the entire experience so wonderful for us. We had a lot of laughs, jokes and great times together. All my bridesmaids commented on how beautiful they felt, and I felt extremely confident with how I looked. Her assistant for hair, Deon, was also a joy to work with. They made a fantastic team and were very timely and efficient.

Very last minute I added on airbrush, and Shaune was efficient enough to include it in and was a true professional. I would definitely recommend her for your big day, and I will be recommending her to fellow friends that have upcoming weddings.

All I can say is my wedding photos are amazing and I owe it all to Shauné Hayes. All of my wedding party / bridesmaids were very pleased with their makeup. I was very disappointed by the first makeup artist I found and decided not to use him after doing the trial. Thankfully, soon after that debacle, I met Shauné's team at a wedding show and was impressed by her marketing materials. I emailed her for pricing shortly after. She is competitively priced and was very responsive over email. Although I live in downtown DC, far from her home, she was happy to arrange a time to drive to me with all of her makeup, chair, and light to do my trial.

She was very flexible about trying different colors on me so I can see the varying results. I was extremely happy with the final results and very relieved that I finally found my makeup artist.

On the wedding day, she gave us touch-up kits, but I didn't have to use any of it because the makeup barely smudged after a long day of smiling, laughing, kissing, hugging, and dancing.

If you're looking for a makeup artist, look no further! I highly recommend Shauné. You will not be disappointed.

Shaune Hayes is an amazing makeup artist. Once she completed my trial session, I knew she would be perfect for my wedding day. She knows how to make you feel relaxed and comfortable during the session. I love makeup, so she definitely gave me some great ideas on how to improve my own techniques. She was very responsive all the way up until the day of the wedding. She showed up on time and started working right away. My entire wedding party absolutely loved her. Even when we started to run behind schedule, she remained flexible. I had her stay through the reception and she made sure to freshen my look every time I had to take major photos. I received so many compliments on my look. I wish I could post pictures, because words do not do Shaune true justice in describing her work! I will definitely use her in the future for other events.

If I could give Shaune Hayes 10 stars I would. She was amazing! She was very professional, prompt, reasonably priced, and just a joy to work with. I hired her for my engagement pictures initially, but as soon as she handed me the mirror to see the final results I knew I had to have her for my wedding day as well. Her level of expertise was just astonishing and her willingness to talk me through what and why she was doing something was for reassuring. I booked her for my wedding day immediately.

On my big day, Shaune arrived on time and went straight to work. One by one, my bridesmaids sat in her chair and got up looking naturally flawless. When it came to my makeup, she nailed it!!! It was exactly what we discussed during my makeup trial. And the entire time she was performing her magic, she was able to talk to me and keep me calm. I really knew I had made the right decision by choosing Shaune, when my husband saw me for the first time. He was so amazed that she was able to enhance my natural beauty without making me look like one of those housewives on reality tv. He kept telling me how beautiful I looked and I know it is because I had a great makeup artist that went above and beyond to make that happen. Shaune even provided lip gloss, blotting papers, and foundation for me to touch up my makeup right before the wedding. She was just very impressive from the beginning to the end. And now that I have seen her work in my pictures, I am even more impressed and amazed. She has a customer for life and I plan to take her private makeup lesson in the near the future.

If you are looking for a makeup artist, you should absolutely hire Shaune Hayes. It was the one of the best decisions I made, you will not be disappointed.

Shaune and her team were AWESOME!!! From the time I had my make-up trial I knew she would be the one to do my make-up for my wedding day!!! Make-up was flawless and I lasted all day. My bridesmaids loved the pics of my makeup trial so much they all used her services and everyone looked amazingly beautiful. I'm still getting compliments on how beautiful I looked that day and the make was so flawless but not overdone. My hair was done by Shaun who did such an outstanding job I absolutely loved it and considering how picky I am about my hair it was quite an accomplishment. I am very particular about details and on that day I can say I was 100% satisfied. I HIGHLY recommend Shaune and her team.

I was first drawn to Shaune by the fact that her website had before and afters of people of varying races and skin tones. So many makeup people were very monotone in their ethnic representation. I scheduled my makeup trial and Shaune worked with me to schedule it the same day as my company work Christmas party so I could get the most bang for my buck. The trial went great and I found Shaune to be incredibly pleasant to just sit and talk with. I was happy to hire her for all my needs.

Along the way we made a couple additions to the contract without any issue. She was prompt to reply to emails and patient when I missed a couple myself.

The day of my wedding Shaune showed up early and found the best spot for her to do her craft and setup. She has a calm demeanor which is great and she fit right in with everyone. But the most important part is, she did a phenomenal job. Every single one of my bridesmaids and my mother in law felt so beautiful afterwards. Each person enjoyed individual attention and felt pampered and listened to. As for myself, I can honestly say I have never felt prettier in my life than I did. Shaune took things I didn't like about myself and made them beautiful. I don't think a bride can ask for anything more.

You should hire Shaune. You can be guaranteed a laid back, kind, and skillful makeup artist.

Shaune did my makeup for both my engagement photos and on the day of my wedding not only for me but for my entire bridal party. Prior to our first encounter we spoke via email. Shaune was always professional and extremely prompt with responding to my emails Our first encounter was incredible she was polite and professional and my makeup was flawless. Not only did she do a great job with my makeup, but she just has a beautiful personality. I truly enjoyed sitting in her chair, just talking and laughing while she worked wonders for my engagement shoot.

The next time we connected was for my makeup trial, my make up was beautiful again. I wanted a glamorous gold smokey eye for my evening wedding and she did an incredible job. I asked her to tweak my lip color and she took the feedback wonderfully and adjusted so I walked out feeling beautiful.

On the day of my wedding she arrived about 15 minutes ahead of schedule to set up her work area so she could begin promptly working on all of the bridesmaids, my mom, my husband's mom, and myself. Listening to her speak with my mother and mother-in-law it was like they had known each other for years. Every single woman who sat in her chair that day felt beautiful and at ease because of Shaune's positive attitude and skill set.

I know our professional photographs and videos will be incredible because of the care Shaune took to ensure my bridal party and family looked and felt beautiful on the day of my wedding. The products Shaune used on my skin was also fantastic! Not only did she leave a touch up kit with blotting papers, lip glosses, and powders, she also left me skin care products to remove the make up. My skin felt wonderful once the wedding was over. Anytime I need makeup or skincare products, Shaune is the woman I will call!

I would absolutely recommend Shaune for any special event you may have. She is fantastic at what she does, professional, and such a joy to be around. I am grateful to have met her!

Deciding to work with Shaune and Shaunda was the best investment I made for our wedding day. I was initially super bummed to find out that Shaune was booked on our day, when a week or so later she contacted me to say that her other bride had to postpone her wedding and she had availability--needless to say, I was ecstatic! She was friendly, responsive, and so helpful when it came to deciding how I would keep a uniform look for both of our ceremonies (Indian and American) while looking fresh for each--we ended up switching up the lip color, and it was a subtle but fantastic change. Shaunda was also wonderful, and took her time crafting a hairstyle at my trial based on the paltry number of photos I brought as examples. While my trial hair was intricate and gorgeous, it wasn't necessarily my style and I let her know. She was very receptive, and assured me that we would tweak the look on the big day to make it what I envisioned. The end result was fabulous, and somehow she got my thick, heavy Asian hair to stay put in a beautiful low up-do for 13 hours. That was truly a miracle! All of my bridesmaids also loved their hairstyles!

My wedding makeup, and that of my bridesmaids, was simply amazing. Shaune was timely, efficient, flexible, and no one felt rushed. It's obvious that she loves what she does! It sounds cheesy, but everyone really did look like better versions of themselves. My makeup felt exquisitely light and natural; none of which seems possible with professional makeup! It lasted all afternoon and evening with only one blot/light-touch up needed near the end. I received so many compliments, and even the non-professional photos look incredible! It was an absolute pleasure to work with Shaune and Shaunda, and I honestly can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you for making our day that much more special!

After two failed makeup trials, I was desperately searching for another makeup artist. I came across Shaune on WeddingWire. When I contacted her, she responded right away; she was also very flexible with my crazy schedule (I had to reschedule with her due to work) and even came to my house for the trial. I am half Asian and I have a specific eye shape which I believe was difficult for the other artists to deal with. Shaune listened to my concerns, made suggestions and I was so happy with the result. There ended up being 7 of us that needed makeup that day, and she and Liantine showed up early, brought their own chairs and did an awesome job. My husband's mom and my mom don't wear heavy makeup and never got their makeup done before, and we asked for a natural look for them and they looked gorgeous! The rest of us wanted a more dramatic look, and we were ecstatic with the end result. I also have to mention that one of my bridesmaids has a lot of freckles and doesn't often wear a lot of makeup, and Shaune put the absolute perfect color palette on her and she looked sooo beautiful. Our bridal party was made up of various ethnicities, eye shapes and skintones, and everyone's makeup turned out great!!!

Shaune and her team did my makeup and hair for three weddings events in September and I could not be more pleased with their work. My makeup and hair looked flawless and everyone commented on how natural and amazing it all looked. With the stresses of planning a wedding it was nice to know I could rely on Shaune and her team for doing consistent great work. Throughout the entire process, from initial consultation/communication to the bridal trial to the actual wedding day, Shauné and Shaunda were a pleasure to work with. They are both excellent at what they do and appear to enjoy what they do. Both take their time, truly listening to your requests/concerns, and provide professional yet personalized services.
I was especially impressed by Shauné's responsiveness; even when I would send a non-urgent email after normal business hours, she would almost always respond within the hour, if not sooner. This level of communication was very reassuring and immensely helpful during the stressful wedding planning process.
Despite having bridal party members of all different ages and hair types/lengths, everyone's hair and makeup turned out flawless. Even after taking photographs in 80 degree heat and dancing the night away, my hair and makeup remained intact (although Shauné does provide you with your own powder, lip color, and oil blotting sheets for touchups). I would highly recommend Shauné to other brides!

Shaune did my makeup for my wedding and it was flawless! The makeup lasted all night and was beautiful in pictures. She also did makeup for my mom and aunt who are quite picky but they had no complaints and were very pleased when they saw the finished product. Shaune was on time and came ready to work. Shaune Hayes was highly recommended by my cousin who has gotten her makeup done with her for special events. I hired her for my wedding in April 2014 which she did an amazing job with my wedding day make-up, bridesmaid, mother and mother-in-law. She was a pleasure to work with. Shaune Hayes is a LIFE SAVIOR! I contacted her 2 weeks before my wedding after numerous unsuccessful trials from other vendors. She was attentive to my needs , knew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted to be presented at my reception. She was very patient with me and my family members and we all looked GORGEOUS!

I am grateful to have met her and she will now be my makeup artist for any occasion :)

I will also like to thank her partner, Shaun, for doing my hair. She was AMAZING as well and I am grateful to both ladies for agreeing to do my hair and makeup on such short notice.

Shauné is an absolute genius at what she does--which I can only describe as art. Thanks to her I, my bridesmaids, and my mother all felt like glamazons! My mom never wears a lick of makeup (and frankly, doesn't need to), but absolutely loved Shauné and the end result. On top of everything else, I genuinely loved having her around and she couldn't have been more gracious with her time. I can't thank her enough for contributing to my special day, and I hope to work with her again in the future.

I felt so beautiful and she made me feel comfortable. I don't wear very much makeup usually and was worried about looking like someone else. But from the first appointment, Shaune made me feel relaxed and just a better and more beautiful version of everyday me.

Shaune definitely knows her craft! Shaune was very professional. My makeup was flawless. I have super sensitive skin and I did not breakout. I had a few blemishes on my face and back that were a big concern to me. She applied makeup to those areas and I was able to walk down the aisle in my strapless gown with confidence. The wedding photos turned out great. Everyone complimented me on my make up. My face wasn't caked up and it looked so natural. My husband loved it! Thank you Shaune!

Shaune and her team did hair and make up for my wedding this past weekend. I have worked with a lot of make up artists and hair stylists in the past, but Shaune brought make up and hair artistry to a whole new level. She made me look GORGEOUS, absolutely ANGELIC. In fact, she made me look so good that when I saw my pictures, I cried with happiness. Before the special day, I had sent her some pictures of what I had in mind. She listened and completely exceeded my expectations. And by far. She is hands down the best, most professional make up artist I have ever met, and her team did a miracle with my hair. Whether you want the red-carpet or a natural look for your wedding, Shaune is the person to go to. Incredible work and definitely worth the price.

Shaune Hayes was great!!.. I recommend her 100%. She did a great job doing my make-up.
Also, I value that she responded all my email right away (next 20 min.). She is very positive person, always has a smile and you can ask her any questions (like do you have brown eyelashes? is it better this color in my skin? etc.) very patient :). She wants you to feel comfortable and happy. I appreciate that she suggest options and incorporate my taste and observations (and all my family observations) in her work.

Shaune was the BEST! She had excellent communication setting up our appointment and adjusting to last minute changes. She was on time, professional, and had a great personality. Shaune was very professional and responsive. I don't usually wear makeup (or fake eyelashes) and she made me comfortable during the trial and on my wedding day. She was set up and ready to go early and all the guests loved her work. We were right on schedule the whole day! One of my guests plans to reach out to her for her wedding next year! I recently had a Sweet 16 Celebration for my daughter and contacted Mrs. Hayes to do her make up for the event. Her father was apprehensive because he didn't want his "baby girl" to look to grown up. We took our daughter to Mrs. Hayes and she did an outstanding job. Our daughter was extremely beautiful and age appropriate. Her father and I were blown away! I feel blessed that I found Shaune for my wedding; she was an absolute delight to work with from start to finish and my maid of honor and I felt gorgeous when we were done with makeup!

Shaune did an excellent job with my make-up and that of my sister and bridesmaids. The trial was fun and gave me a good sense of what I wanted on the day of the wedding. Choosing Shaune' as my make up artist was one of the best decision I made for my wedding. I had a great experience on the trial day and even the better one on my wedding day. She was responding my emails immediately and I was so confident to tell her what I want.
Only one week prior to my wedding I had to ask her to come on site 1 hour earlier and though she had another bride, she made it and put me on ease for the rest of the day. I had to get ready early cause we were planning to have some photo shooting out side, so I was worried about my make up. She gave a kit as a gift AND she gave me the BLUSH she used for my make up which was not included in the kit!
And the last but not the least my make up was exactly the one I ever wish, chic and natural. I got so many complements that night and in my pictures I LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL! :-)

I couldn't be happier with the job Shaune did on my makeup for my wedding. From the moment I contacted her, she was a pleasure to work with -- so nice, always responsive, and very professional. I did a trial before the wedding, and Shaune took time to listen to what I liked and had a ton of pictures for me to go through to show her my preferences. I'd never had false lashes before either, but they looked amazing! She even ordered some different ones for my wedding day that she thought would look even better on my eyes, and she was right. She showed up right on time on wedding day and the end result was gorgeous! I looked and felt like a very beautiful bride.
