Coordinated my Brother’s Wedding
I’ve worked with Julia and Jacob multiple times for other weddings. When my brother got engaged I knew they would be in great hands with the Stones. We reached out to them and got booked immediately. They cared for all of us and made us feel very looked after and seen in all the meetings leading up to the day and on the day of. Julia even went above and beyond keeping in touch with my brother’s wife after the wedding. We adore them and I recommend the Stone’s to all of my clients.I’ve worked with Julia and Jacob multiple times for other weddings. Julia made my wedding planning process and wedding day absolutely seamless. She met with me early and made this overwhelming project so organized. I found most of my vendors through her, and her reputation is stellar! Absolutely amazing
I truly can't recommend and sing the praises of Julia Stone and Set In Stone Events enough! Our almost 2 year journey together culminated in a beautifully wonderful day and night that I will never ever forget.
Reflecting back on it all, I truly had the best and most stress free day I could have ever imagined for something so big. I never once had to worry about anything or anyone because Julia and her team had it all handled and did it absolutely flawlessly. I am VERY Type A and a major details and planner person. I thought I would be super stressed the day of my wedding, but I had 0 stress whatsoever that day.

Amazing Experience!
Julia is amazing at what she does! We had Julia assisting us with our reception space and vendors we had won from a wedding service contest! She was very organized, which as a type A bride I absolutely loved along with a great communicator. She coordinated with our wedding planner and each individual vendor to ensure one vision for our perfect day and that everything arrived on time and was set up beautifully! We could not have had our wedding reception for 350 people over 10,000 square foot warehouse all ready to go without Julia!!!Julia is amazing at what she does! We had Julia assisting us with our reception space and vendors we had won from a wedding service contest! She was very organized, which as a type A bride I absolutely loved along with a great communicator. Wedding Coordinator
I cannot brag enough about how amazing Julia with Set in Stone Events is. I booked her at least 1.5 years before my wedding, and she was super helpful throughout the entire time leading up to my big day. My husband and I hired her mainly to coordinate since we planned the majority of our wedding, but Julia did so much to relieve any and all stress I was experiencing, especially in the last few months leading up to the wedding. I would send her lengthy emails, random texts as my brain remembered small things to ask, etc. (even when we were still a year or more out from the wedding), and she was always super professional and prompt with her responses. We are all human and need grace at times, and Julia was really good about showcasing this trait throughout my time working with her. She handled all vendor communication 1-2 months before the wedding, created the ceremony & reception hall floor plans, made a day-of timeline, and executed our day wonderfully. She also reworks the day-of schedule as little hiccups come up throughout the day but still makes sure everything gets done before the end of your event. If there is any advice I can give to fellow brides, it’s this: hire a coordinator, and let it be Julia. It’s 100% worth it. You not only hire someone who is super easy to work with and will execute your day amazingly; you also gain a wonderful friend in your life. Couldn't Imagine My Wedding Without Julia
From the moment I met Julia I knew she would be the best fit for us as a wedding coordinator. Her professionalism, willingness to go above and beyond with vendor recommendations and anything we needed, as well as her open and friendly attitude throughout the entire process made planning our wedding so much easier and less stressful.
When my wedding dress needed last minute alterations the week of our wedding, Julia came through with great recommendations of someone willing to do a super last minute alteration. And throughout the day of our wedding she was a calming force, making sure everything was going smoothly, and that both me and my husband were taken care of and didn't have to worry about anything. Hands down the best planner out there!!
Selecting Julia with Set In Stone Events as my event coordinator had to be one of the most valuable pieces of my wedding day that I will always remember and cherish. I was lucky enough to be given her information from a band I was inquiring about early on in my planning. Although the band did not get the booking, I am so grateful for their referral because Julia is hands down the best planner out there! My first meeting with her felt so natural, just felt like friends catching up together. She made me feel at ease with planning my wedding from start to finish. My budget was honored in every aspect, always respecting our choices as well as offering amazing vendor referrals! I had her for Month-Of planning, but she would touch base with me about my progress and if I had any newly booked vendors about every other month or so. She was a very attentive planner, which made all the difference for me.
My fiancé and I had to postpone in 2019 for 2020 and she was with me every step in getting a new date locked in and timeline figured out. Neither of us could have expected what was to come of March 2020 (hello Covid-19) but Julia and her team kept things under control and professional. Even as a panicked bride with last minute guest cancellations, I knew Julia had our wedding as her top priority, keeping me as calm as possible while handling everything behind the scenes.
The experience I had for planning my wedding was made so much easier because of Julia. I highly recommend Julia with Set In Stone Events to any couple in the Houston area planning their wedding.

Julia was my rock throughout the entire wedding planning process (through COVID I would like to add lol). We booked her coordinating services about a year out and she made sure to do monthly check-ins and more often when the big day got closer. She had no hesitations with contacting our vendors to make any changes and even picked up our freaking cake!! Day of, I had ZERO worries/issues, literally. The Best Day Thanks to the Best Coordinator
Words can't express how grateful I am for Julia and how she uses her talents and skills so selflessly for others. Getting married at the end of July in the middle of a pandemic and then, days before, learning of an incoming tropical storm gave me all the feelings. Thankfully, Julia was by my side throughout the process and was an incredible encourager and even better coordinator/planner. She is so personable, it didn't take long for our check-in calls to feel like planning my wedding with one of my girlfriends.
We had a beautiful day, rain and all, and it's thanks in large part to Julia's expertise, creativity, and flexibility. Given the restraints of COVID-19 and the rain, she was able to craft an excellent day-of-timeline for our day that allowed us to get beautiful photos to cherish (without getting drenched) and while helping us reduce mingling/socializing and still ensuring our guests had a great time. I really appreciate her connecting with our vendors through all of the changes, especially the ones that my husband and I made on the fly on the day of. Given all that's going on in the world, weddings just have to look different (for the time being) and I love how Julia is an out of the box thinker.

Set In Stone Events was recommended to us and Julia lived up to her glowing recommendation! I was planning my Houston wedding from a different city and Julia was on top of everything. Being so far away I was worried how I would stay on top of things, but leading up to the wedding Julia was in constant communication and made my worries disappear. On the day of she created a stress free day and made sure everything ran smoothly. When the evening came to an end she put together a to go bag of food and cake that we took back to our hotel. That gesture was just the icing on the cake and I would choose her to be our coordinator again and again! So thankful for Julia!
My husband and I got engaged in August 2019 and our wedding was in February 2020. We were very excited to get married, a shorter engagement was the way to go for us (it also worked out with the Lenten season, as we wanted it to be before then!). So we were busyyy....reaching out to venues, photographers, make-up artist, finding our dress/tux, etc. After seeing how much some wedding planners/coordinators charged, I honestly convinced myself that we might be able to have a family friend help us with day of coordination. Well, beyond thankful that I vetoed myself and asked for a few more estimates for wedding day coordination. Julia responded to us same day and we had a phone call. When talking to Julia on our initial call...it was like talking to one of my good friends. She got me. She listened to me, she was cheerful, easy to talk to, positive, down to earth, and had great advice...she helped lift a huge weight off my shoulders! And the rest was wedding day bliss history.
By the time we found Julia, it was November, so we had just a few months left until our special day! She helped us to give recommendations, get quotes, and determine availability for those vendors we still needed to nail down. But that, was just the beginning! She came with us to our food tasting at the hotel where we held our reception (Le Meridien), continued to give great advice through the decision process of what linens, what centerpieces, Videographer rec (Big Camera Guy Hou - his work is amazing!), what size tables for sweetheart/cake, reaching out to all of our vendors before our wedding to make sure every one was on the same page. Not to mention...alright, I'll admit it, I'm a sucker for to do lists and organization...our day of timeline she put together for us. I thought I was good on making schedules, y'all. I'm here now to say that I had no clue and way in over my head! The level of detail was comforting and more importantly, helped her and all of our vendors stay on track the day of!
On the day of - she was there early in the day, brought me a Starbucks latte (even though I was too nervous to drink most of it), and got to work right away, making sure everything was perfect. From our place cards, table #'s, photo guest book, centerpieces, making sure everything arrived on time, floor layout was on point, and all things were in their pre-discussed place. Checking on us before our entrance to the reception (we had a break between ceremony/reception), keeping us calm as we walked towards the reception area...even participating with us in a quick "go team" hands in to shake my nerves. Making sure we had drinks throughout the night. Keeping us on schedule. Helping distribute tips to our wonderful vendors, making sure my mom and sister grabbed all of the guest gifts/cards, our decor items, etc.
I obviously cannot say enough about Julia! If you're still reading this, LOOK NO FURTHER. Literal life-saver!!
Julia has been an absolute pleasure to work with! She was always easy to contact and helped me keep track of what needed to be done and when. She also literally saved our day by finding someone to marry us when our officiant didn't show! I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. She was easily the best money we spent. Julia Made Our Day!
Even with a modest wedding budget, I was sure we wanted to hire the services of coordinator, even if only for day of! My fiance (now husband) took some initial convincing, but once he met Julia he was as sold on the idea as I was. We ended up working with Julia for nearly a year to plan our wedding, and I am so glad we found her! The day of the wedding, the last thing I wanted to do was worry about logistics, other vendors, a timeline etc. Julia took care of all of that, even taking the time to sit with me and give me water/calm me down ahead of my walk down the aisle. Julia is down-to-earth and really takes what each couple needs to heart. She uses her significant industry expertise to navigate putting together a wonderful day that is unique to us. I could go on. Basically, if you're a Houston area/Texas bride especially - look no further than Julia. You will not regret it.

She made sure everything ran smoothly and was completely stress free for me! Julia and Valerie helped make my wedding day even more perfect than I could've imagined and I am so grateful I hired them! Couldn’t be better!
Julia was awesome, at first I was hesitant about having a coordinator but I’m glad that I did! She was able to meet me where needed, ( hard for me to travel far because my son)! So she always met me close to home. She was very responsive, and made my wedding day stress free! I was a DIY bride and she definitely helped a lot with set up! She was also very flexible with my schedule! I was very busy with school as well. Julia was the perfect "me"
Julia Stone is AMAZING. I'm the type of person who is used to being in complete control of every aspect of an event I'm hosting, so I knew hosting as the BRIDE at my wedding meant I needed to find someone I could completely trust to be "me". Julia made everything so easy for me from the very beginning--I knew from our first meeting she was going to be the perfect fit for me to feel comfortable giving her complete control to execute my vision on my wedding day!! She had constant communication with me when I needed it leading up to the wedding, and her experience with weddings helped point me in the right direction when I had no idea what I was doing. She sent helpful checklists every month, and made sure to follow up with me when I would forget things. Both Julia and her mom were absolutely fantastic on our wedding day, our friends and family are still raving about how great my coordinators were throughout the entire day. At one point Julia noticed my groom was taking a break from eating his meal to help me cool off and fan me while I was eating, so she rushed over and started fanning us both herself!! That's just one example of how Julia and her mom both go above and beyond to help make your wedding day as perfect as possible. When my wife and I were planning our wedding, we thought we could coordinate our vendors and timeline by ourselves. Boy were we wrong. We had a fairly small ceremony - under 80 people - but ensuring the band knew where to set up, knowing to talk to the caterer about our venue's unusual kitchen, helping us find extra bartenders and florists... all of that was because of Julia. She helped us remember details we had discussed months ago, and kept both a thousand-foot view of the entire process and the minutiae of each minute of the wedding completely organized. Even more valuable was her day-of presence to ensure everything went smoothly. She arrived hours before the start of the ceremony to make sure vendors were present and setting up. By Far, Best Money Spent!
Julia was an absolute joy to work with. She thought through every little detail leading up to the wedding and for the wedding proper, she really allowed both myself and my husband to enjoy the day and not worry about a thing. We had a last minute issue with a photo on our seating chart (we had photos of our guests and one of the photos showed an ex girlfriend!!) Julia was able to help fix it with only 20 minutes to spare! We were beyond impressed with everything Julia did and can't recommend her enough.Julia was an absolute joy to work with. Set In Stone was absolutely fantastic during the whole wedding planning process and especially on our wedding day. Julia and her team are very professional and reduced a lot of stress. Our wedding was around 160 people and they managed the entire day. They went above and beyond, providing amazing service and support for both families involved. We had never met prior to the wedding day, but they were very responsive via phone and email. Do yourself a favor hire Julia ! This mother daughter team go above and beyond the call of duty and customer service is apparently their highest and greatest goal! We had a wedding of 400 people and there was one glitch that I didn’t even know about until after the wedding because they took care of it. I was able to relax and enjoy my daughters wedding without having to worry and without vendors having to Need me for something every five minutes. We never knew her before we hired her. She will do the rest of our 3 daughters weddings without a doubt! If there were 10 stars that’s what I would rate her.Do yourself a favor hire Julia ! Terrific Wedding Coordinator
My wife and I had a great time working with Julia from our initial meeting up to the day of the wedding. We hired “Set in Stone Events” to help coordinate the day of the wedding but Julia was gracious enough to help with some of the planning to get us to our special day. Julia is very organized, thorough, and very knowledgeable of the wedding industry. She came prepared for every meeting with detailed questions and goals to work towards for the following meeting. Communication was wonderful since she was able to get back to us by email or by her cell phone. If we were uncertain about something specific or needed an example of something done before, Julia would get back to us within a few days, if not a couple of hours. Julia is very open about her schedule so nothing would be a surprise if we couldn’t reach her for a few days.
The day of the wedding was magical thanks to the organizing and planning by Julia and her mom, Valerie, who assisted where necessary. As the groom, I was happy to see Julia help direct everyone from the vendors to decorators. Even though there were a few hick ups that could not have been prevented, Julia kept her focus and help push the ceremony and reception forward. I thank Julia for all the times she brought my bride and myself water or food from our buffet. So many things happened during the wedding that we sometimes lost focus. Julia was terrific!

Julia was amazing. She was organized and in charge. She knew when to involve me and when to just make the decisions. Julia was AMAZING! This woman was made for planning - I'm convinced of it. We hired Julia as a day-of-coordinator super last minute. And, boy, did she jump right in and take control. Like, I thought I was organized and ready to go, but there is NO WAY I could have gotten through that day without her (oh, and everyone keeps telling me how calm I was the day-of which just is not in my wheelhouse of feelings - well...thank you, Julia!)
From shopping for cutlery to stopping last minute to buy a cake topper, and even putting together bridesmaids bouquets out of the forgotten babys-breath, she was 100% dedicated to making our day perfect and I couldn't imagine considering anyone else to do this for me.
Her assistant (her mom) is also super sweet and helpful. I really thing they make an amazing team.
