After the first month of trying to plan her own wedding, my daughter decided to contact a wedding planner. From the very first conversation, Miriam made us all feel at ease. She is a joy to work with. She never turned down an opportunity to answer questions and calm nerves. She made budget friendly recommendations that allowed us to chose the venue, photographer, bakery, dress, flowers, and caterer with ease. From start to finish (we left the venue before she did) she handled everything!! Miriam was the coordinator and director of a wedding more beautiful that we could have ever done on our own. All handled with a smile, an air of confidence, and beautiful demeanor that calmed any worries we may have had. I am grateful that my daughter followed her instinct on this decision to hire a planner. Miriam Ackerman is truly amazing at planning an event that fits your budget, your style and exceeds your expectations. -

Scout and Grace made the day carefree for us!
Miriam and Lauren were amazing! I thought I was organized, but from the start they had wonderful recommendations and answers to my many detailed questions. We did the 60 day plan and it was such a huge weight off my shoulders when they stepped in. Their help in negotiating with vendors and then recommending vendors I had not come up with yet like for makeup etc. was a huge help. My daughter is a busy executive and left a lot of the detail work to me since I have done a lot of event planning, but I still could not have done it half as well without Scout and Grace. The day of the wedding they took care of every detail so we could all truly relax and enjoy every minute of the day. Miriam even did the bustling of my daughter's dress (she wore my silk dress that we had re-made) and did a beautiful job- I was pretty stressed about trying to do that myself and she made it look so perfect! Most importantly my daughter said it was the happiest day of her life with no stress! Many guests remarked that our Dairy Barn event was one of the most joyful and beautiful weddings they had attended and so much credit goes to our planners! The day of help putting out menus, favors, programs, signs, table assignments, guest book, cake items, light wands for the finale, coordinating with the florist, DJ, and caterer as well as the ministers for our bi-lingual ceremony, they did it all and worked so hard to make the day special and carefree for our family. THANK YOU to the Scout and Grace team!!! I cannot recommend them more highly!! -

Everyone we worked with at Scout and Grace went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect wedding day. I immediately hit it off with Miriam during our initial call and had faith that Scout and Grace could work around my hectic work schedule for planning meetings. Our initial coordinator, Erin, could not have been a better fit for us. She walked me through all of my stresses, knew when to encourage us to follow our vision, and when to support us when we decide we no longer wanted to include something in our wedding. I felt so supported the year leading up to our wedding and thoroughly enjoyed the process. When life led to Miriam subbing in as our planner, she worked hard to get up to speed on our wedding and make sure we had the perfect day. She knew when to handle fires without us and when to ask us what we wanted/needed. And maybe most importantly, she was able to accommodate both my hectic work schedule and all of the strong/direct personalities that made up our wedding party (mostly mine :) ). Scout and Grace is an extremely professional company that will have your back and make sure you have what you need on your wedding day! -

Initially, we hadn't intended to hire a planner, but deciding to work with Erin turned out to be one of our best decisions ever. She made the entire planning process so much easier because we had complete trust in her, and she exceeded our expectations. Our wedding day was simply spectacular! Everything went off without a hitch, and we were able to enjoy every moment without any worries. Having Erin as our planner was truly an honor; our wedding night wouldn't have been as perfect without her invaluable assistance! -

Scout and Grace Events was within reasonable budget and helped my husband and I with our beautiful wedding! Miriam, Erin and Stacia were all amazing and very professional. Every detail ended up being so perfect and the timing of every portion of the wedding was spot on. Absolutely nothing went wrong on our wedding day and if it did they did a really good job of not letting us know! Big shout out to Erin as I worked with her the most and I could not have asked for a better planner. 10000% would only use Scout and Grace Events again for any events. Thanks again team! -

The best experience!
My husband and i got married this past summer and we are beyond grateful to have found Miriam and her team to help create our absolute dream day. Miriam kept us up to speed with deadlines throughout our engagement season, came to tastings/meetings with us and she was just so eager to dream up our wedding day together. On the day of our wedding Miriam and her team were so great to help with the last minute details. They each created such an stress-free morning for my bridesmaids and I to enjoy together as we got ready & helped out behind the scenes in so many ways. I can’t say enough about Scout & Grace and the wonderful women who are so passionate and amazing at what they do! Cannot recommend them enough! -

You NEED Scout and Grace!
Oh, the WONDERFUL things that I have to say about Miriam and Haylee with Scout and Grace. As a nervous bride, I knew that I couldn't take on wedding planning by myself. After interviewing several planners, I had a call with Miriam and I was sold. She captured my vision so beautifully and so far exceeded my expectations. She and Haylee were so responsive and tackled every event gracefully. Not only are they extremely talented at what they do, but they are each such kind and lovely people. I will truly miss working with Miriam, as she became a friend through the whole wedding process. I will sing their highest praises and recommend them to anyone looking for a planner. Thank you to the Scout and Grace team, one more time, for planning the happiest day of my life to date! -

We hired Haylee as a full-service coordinator and she did NOT disappoint! We were so thrilled with the attention to detail and professionalism she brought to the table. I was completely stress-free throughout the entire planning process. Haylee and Erin were on-site for wedding day and made sure everything ran without a hitch. Highly recommend Scout and Grace Events! Miriam Ackerman is a fantastic event planner. She coordinated my wedding and did an excellent job. She is prompt to reply and help anticipate hiccups or snags before they even happen. She went above and beyond to make our day special. I would higher her again in a heartbeat. -

Scout and Grace was so helpful planning and executing my wedding. Haylee helped me find vendors we needed like a photographer, DJ, and florist. We got the month and day of coordination package "wedding management".
Everything went smoothly and as planned. Several guests commented how well everything was organized and went off without a hitch. Haylee helped with out with the rehearsal as well which was great with my large family. She even assisted with finding some decor as assisting with design and set it all up on day of. Couldn't not have done it without Haylee. We are so incredibly thankful for her and Scout & Grace!!!!! -

Miriam is absolutely AMAZING to work with! I feel like I can't even put into words what a perfect addition she was to make my wedding day exactly what I wanted it to be. She is very professional, responsive and extremely well organized. I didn't feel an ounce of stress on my wedding day because Miriam had everything under control and that is exactly what every bride deserves. -

Best decision ever
If you’re on the fence to hire a planner - don’t be! Miriam and her team made the day stress free! I cannot imagine our wedding day without her. She helped with so many tasks and set up and took the stress out of it all so my mom, groom, and I could just enjoy the day! -

I have had the pleasure of working alongside Miriam in the past several years (I create wedding cakes so we sometimes work the same events!) but have recently also been lucky enough to have her has my day of planner for my own wedding. For both my own wedding (and at every event I’ve seen her) Miriam and her team have been punctual, professional, and definitely someone you want on your team for the most important day of your life! I did not realize how quickly our wedding day would fly by (I know that’s what everyone says!) and without Miriam we would have definitely not kept to our schedule. I’m so glad she was there to help keep everything on track. On our wedding day she made several decisions last minute regarding our reception which I was not available to make. Because of our previous meetings she was able to understand my fiancé and my priorities and made decisions based on what we would want (which she did perfectly!). I’m 100% sure she took care of far more little things than I’ll ever be aware of (and no couple should have to be aware of on their wedding day!) If you do not have a planner I highly recommend getting one and Scout and Grace is the way to go! -

After having to postpone our original wedding date due to COVID, my fiance and I were not really interested to re-planning again on our own. I reached out to Miriam about 7 months before our new wedding date and purchased her partial planning package. We went with Miriam because she was kind, professional, completely understanding of what we were looking for, and reasonably priced. She took the reigns and handled everything from there on out which included hiring 3 more vendors, organizing everyone together, and reminding me of the little things left to do. She had reminders automated for us, a handy website that tracked everything, and was available to us whenever we needed via email text or call! The day of the wedding, Miriam and her assistant Ashley made the day flow absolutely seamlessly. They thought of e v e r y t h i n g and I had to worry about nothing. It felt so nice that the stress was off our shoulders for the day and everything fell into place due to the planning and coordination of Miriam with all our vendors. I would recommend Miriam a million times over and to every soon-to-be bride in the area! Don't put it all on yourself, let Miriam help you! -

When I found Miriam, I was overwhelmed. Not so much with what I wanted out of our wedding, but how it was going to be executed, and how we were going to make sure our large bridal party was organized. I had spiked with a few coordinators, and they were all out of my budget & didn’t seem to click well for me. Then I found, Scout & Grace. I spoke with Miriam via zoom and she immediately made me feel reassured about our wedding. After bouncing ideas around her for the next couple months and then seeing her get everyone on topic and organized at the rehearsal dinner, I felt so relieved on our wedding day that everything was handled. She took away so much of my stress from the time that I booked her, until the end of our wedding night. When I say that our wedding day went perfectly, I mean it! No major hiccups and everything ran smoothly. Not only is Miriam a sweetheart, but she is organized, focused, timely, and so much fun to be around! I couldn’t have asked for anyone better and I know that she worked so hard to make our day as perfect as it was. Thank you Miriam!!!!
