    Savvy Wedding Coordinators-Look no further

    Jenn and her team went above and beyond to assist in planning our destination wedding. Initially, we hired her team for the day of and then realized that they had the professional skills and knowledge to make our d dream wedding come true. She handled any bumps in the road including moving the wedding ceremony to the Turtle Bay Wedding Pavillion due to rain. It was seamless. The wedding was all that I dreamed of with her help.As the name implies she and her team are "Savvy." Look no further!

    Jenn and her team at Savvy Weddings exceeded our expectations! We chose Savvy for their day-of coordination package and their passion for what they do. They are very organized and detail-oriented. They really sold us on "making our vision a reality." And that is just what they did! Because we got ready at a beach house off site from our ceremony, a team member was there to make sure we were on time and had everything we needed before we left, while the rest of the team was setting up at the venue. When I first saw our ceremony and reception area I couldn't believe it! Everything looked perfect and just how I wanted it. The best part and the thing the we appreciated the most was that they made sure that we were ok, that we ate, and that we were enjoying our special day. They took away all of the stress so that we could enjoy ourselves and be with our guests. I cannot imagine all of the correspondence that went on behind the scenes w/ all of our other vendors and appreciate their hard work and professionalism.

    I heard of Savvy weddings from a co-worker. They were my day of coordinators. I just want to say that they were great! I was impressed that they had a whole team to help us on that day. Everything went smoothly and I did not stress at all. They really got my vision and what we wanted in that day. Their responses were prompt and I would always received an email back. Also very well organized. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding planner! Thank you Jenn and the Savvy Weddings team for making our special day pretty perfect.

    i would definitely recommend using savvy weddings as your wedding planner, they did a remarkable job. They made our dream wedding become a reality. Savvy is very professional and Jennifer was always on the ball, On the day of our wedding, we had the most wonderful day. Everything from the ceremony to the reception was awesome. Seeing all our ideas and our visions come to life on our wedding day was everything we had wished for, they took very great care of us.     Jenn was amazing. She took care of every detail and was deeply knowledgeable about our options and the local vendors. We would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in Honolulu area, particularly those out of town like us.

    We opted for day of coordination. Savvy made our day run so smoothly. We were really impressed with their professionalism, organization, thoughtfulness, and quick thinking! We were raving to all our friends and family and they also commented on their positive experience with you.

    We are so grateful to have you on our wedding day and cannot thank you enough. We were able to really enjoy our day. We knew it would be crazy but we had no idea how chaotic the day gets.

    Sorry for the late review of the wedding. I was very lucky to find Savvy and Jenn to be my wedding planner.

    I always want to have my dream wedding in Hawaii. I know it will be quite difficult since I live in China. I hope to find a local planner to help, so I did a lot research through internet. Even though I spent a lot of time and wrote thousands of emails, the result is my wedding date is closer and closer, and I still can't find a proper one. When I almost give up, I find Savvy! Jenn is very professional and efficient. Since there are only three weeks before the wedding, Jenn is very quick response and shows her professionalism and experience. All the vendors are recommended by Savvy and Jenn, and everything was perfect and well cooperated, florist, makeup, cake, dinner venue, etc.

    Jenn was very considerate and very good at solving risks. There was a Christmas parade and all roads were closed. She reminded us in advance, and also help with arrangement. Otherwise, it would be a disaster to my wedding.

    It is the biggest day of our life and thanks to Savvy's help and service to make it come true!

    Working with Jen and her team at Savvy was absolutely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

    We discovered Savvy Weddings on a review site along with a few other planners that looked appealing and the first interaction alone was what sold us on working with them. Out of all the planners we reached out to, Jen was the quickest to respond and was the friendliest to talk to.

    Once we decided to move forward with Savvy’s destination package, Jen helped us hit the ground running and figure out the plan for the next several. Throughout the course of the planning process she kept us up to speed on everything she was organizing and helped keep us on track for the items we were managing. When it came time to select vendors, she provided us with several options for each one and provided insight into what she like best about them. If we asked to see additional options, Jen and her team would quickly source them and send them our way.

    Jen also helped us organize a planning trip to Hawaii where we met with all of the vendors and did the venue walk through. Jen did an amazing job scheduling the meetings and also made sure we had time to relax and enjoy our trip. When it came time for the wedding, Jen helped us plan and coordinator all our wedding week activities as well as the packing and delivery of the welcome bags. When there was an issue with one of the events and the number of guests (which was our fault), Jen was there to work with the vendor and smooth it over.

    On our wedding day, Jen and Tracy were both there to ensure it was flawless. Whenever we needed something or wanted to make an adjustment, they made it happen. It was so wonderful not having to worry about anything because we knew Jen and Tracy had it handled. We were also really happy with how they interacted with and helped our guests. Several guests told us after that they were very impressed with Jen and Tracy and were jealous that they did not have Savvy as their wedding planner.

    We decided to get married on the North Shore of Oahu and we live in London. When we realised that we had to organise a wedding we felt like rabbits caught in headlights, we had no idea how to proceed. Wisely we decided to engage the services of a wedding planner. After some research and calls Savvy jumped out as the right planner for us. Jenn Kahunahana (owner/executive planner) walked us through everything and did such a great job that I cannot put it into words. She and her team were very professional and handled everything. And I think without them most likely the day would have been a disaster. In fact we are thinking of asking Jenn to adopt us. And yes I we would whole heartedly recommend Savvy and yes it was great value.

    I use Savvy wedding for me wedding planner. Jen is my star. I am from Minneapolis and have a very intimate wedding ceremony with only 7 people. Frankly, I was super nervous about the wedding because I live in Minneapolis and can only communicate with Jen through the phone or email. The wedding is near year end. I was super busy at work as well plus the wedding planning plus this is the first time that two parents will meet. You can imagine the pressure. Jen made it super easy for me. They sent me a very specific run-down before the wedding. Although, we couldn't find a time to look at all the decorations before hand, it turned out perfectly. Absolutely beautiful. All vendors arrived on schedule which is super awesome! All parents felt the wedding is great and the decoration is pretty. We are super grateful for the chef and photographer. They are absolutely excellent. All people loved food even the ones that are not used to western style food. They all loved the pictures. It looks like we are photoshopped in setting but it is real picture taken for us. Jen made it so easy for me during the perfect day. I felt like a bride !!!! I am so glad I trust Savvy and Jen to do my wedding especially my wedding is super small. All in all, I am very happy with the service and definitely gonna recommend Savvy to all my friends.

    Oh man did we need Savvy! We're so so so glad that we used Jenn, Terri, and Chris from Savvy. We got married at Kualoa Ranch and were advised that we did not need to hire an "outside" wedding coordinator but nothing was further from the truth. They were professional, extremely timely in their response, and worked within our budget. We were coming in from New York, never been to Hawaii, but had friends that got married a year before at the same location, used their service and recommended them. Savvy did more then most wedding coordinators. They worked with us months before the date, on the date, and now almost two weeks later are still checking in with us. Jenn's assistant Chris stayed by my wife's side helping with anything from making sure she ate and had enough water to changing dresses, she was incredible! The celebrations were in high swing the night of our wedding, let's just say by the end of our festivities wrapping things up and making a nice clean simple exit from the venue became more then challenging! If Jenn and Chris could have physically carried both bride and groom into their hotel room, tucked them in safely they would have, they did everything else to make sure we got back sound & safely! The best thing to say about Savvy in as few words as possible is that Jenn made us feel comfortable and stress free...even with the threat of an impending hurricane, she assured us everything would be okay.
    Go with them, don't even give it a second thought!

    Jenn and the team at Savvy are absolutely incredible! We planned our wedding internationally from Australia to Hawaii with Savvy and they took everything we communicated about (which was only a few skype conversations and through constant emailing) and turned it into a reality. They were helpful with letting us know exactly what to expect (what was realistic, what wasn't) so that we could create a wonderful wedding celebration with no disappointment. On the day, the team was extremely professional and in fact even "over-prepared" for things that we had no idea would come up and they had the solution within minutes. The best part is Savvy allowed us to basically enjoy our holiday in Hawaii from the moment we landed to the moment we returned home as the hardest thing personally as a bride I had to do throughout the whole process was just making decisions. All my requests and visions were worked out thoroughly and came to life and blown away all expectations. Thank you Jenn and the wonderful team at Savvy Coordination!

    As the groom, this is one of the aspects of the big day that I overlooked. I simply figured everything would work the way we had it planned in our head. Guess what? It doesn’t work that way. Things go wrong and take a lot of effort and work to manage according to plan. The last thing I wanted, and the last thing anybody wants on their wedding day, is to worry about A, B, or C or to have to be presented with stressful decisions, because at that very moment you honestly couldn’t care less about most of the minor details. You just want it taken care of and you want it done 10 minutes ago.
    Enter Jenn and her crew from Savvy! We met them during a wedding expo at the Blaisdell and immediately could tell they were all about business. Jenn projected a very professional demeanor that I could tell she was all about getting the job done and making sure things ran exactly how my wife and I wanted. I can’t say enough about that.
    Of course, it was so funny to talk to her after the wedding as we learned about all the things that did go wrong on the day of, and I say it was funny because we HAD NO IDEA. She obviously took care of it all and things went exactly as planned. For us, we were relatively low maintence in regards to the “details” . . . having a wedding at Turtle Bay for nearly 150 people was celebration enough for us, so we didn’t go overboard with décor, etc. Knowing our personality and what was important to us, she more than delivered.
    The most important part for me was that Jenn made my wife feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process leading up to the wedding and then during our big day. I would certainly recommend Jenn to any couple looking for a solid, experiemced, well-respected wedding coordinator who will get the job done so you can enjoy your big day. Every vendor we worked with raved about Savvy and said how happy they were to be working with her. For us, that also said a lot.

    I hired Savvy Coordination to plan my wedding at Lanikuhonua. This was one of the best decisions I have made. I honestly feel like my wedding day could not have been any better. Jenn is very organized and flexible. She is easy to work with, and I felt like she listened to what I wanted. We did most communication through emails and phone conferences because of our busy work schedules. I'm a DIY bride, and I was on the fence of hiring a planner. I did all the invites, favors and centerpieces. & I packaged plastic utensils, paper fans, paper aisle hearts, and tulle bows for aisle chairs.
    I went with the Grande package. I didn't want to look for vendors and work out contracts. Jenn offered great vendors. I used: SuV for flowers, Pacific party rental, Video 21 for videography, Renai Photography, Akahi Productions, Cake Works, KOPE coffee and snapbooth for my photobooth. I was happy with every single one. Jenn offered many terrific vendors, sent me emails with their links and prices, and I picked. Then secured the contracts via email/ credit card. No stress!!
    I had a few hiccups with my wedding planning, I was going to have a family member cook all the food, which fell through 3 weeks before the wedding. Talk about panic (my guest list was about 220 people). Jenn reassured me that it was no problem. She recommended Keneke's, since I still wanted Hawaiian food. They are awesome and the food was soo good!!
    I also insisted on buying all the paper products (paper plates), since I wanted to cut $ from the budget, and we were doing hawaiian food. Doing so, I forgot to buy the cake plates. We realized this around dinner time. Jenn figured out a way to get cake plates, and I wouldn't have even known if my mom didn't tell me.
    If you are not sure about hiring a planner, do it. The day of, went smooth, on time, and organized. I didn't have to stress about a single thing. I was able to enjoy, party, and walk away at the end of the night. I wouldn't change a single thing.

    We love Jenn and Kris!!!!!!!! They made our day seamless. We decided to hire a planner and started looking online. We sent a few email enquiries and Jenn was the first to respond with a follow up to do a phone interview. We did interview with a few other planners but Jenn was definitely the only one we felt connected to. She was really genuine and really tried to know us throughout the whole planning process. Both my husband and I didn't really know how we wanted the wedding to be like and Jenn was super patient and gave us lots of options to choose from. The day of the wedding, Kris was with me and the girls the whole day. She was so caring and efficient. I felt so safe and relaxed. Jenn communicated with all the vendors on my behalf and took all the stress off me and my husbands shoulders. The timeline they set us for us was amazing because she helped us account for all the unexpected. They are super organized! I highly recommend them.

    Hiring Jenn & her staff (Kris & Sara) was kind of a last minute decision, & we're so glad we did. As we got closer to our wedding day we realized we needed a day-of coordinator & we got so much more than that! Although we found all of our vendors on our own, Jenn went through all of our contracts to double check & make sure we had everything in line. She developed our timeline specific to our needs (down to 5 min intervals), made sure our final payments were made, ran the ceremony rehearsal, & even helped us find an officiant when ours backed out last minute.

    Our wedding day was completely stress free & everything ran smoothly thanks to Jenn & her team. We definitely had some things go wrong (flowers delivered late, photo booth malfunction, technical issues while setting up the Same Day Edit video, etc.), but they handled everything so smoothly, my husband & I didn't even notice most of the problems. I loved that there was always at least one coordinator with me at all times to keep me calm, make sure we were running on time, make sure I ate something & drank enough water; she even answered my phone a couple of times so I didn't have to deal with any vendors. Another huge plus was that they set up a lot of the decor for the ceremony (programs, flower petals, seating arrangements), reception (favors, table #s, decor items), & check-in table (card box, pictures, signs, displays, guest book, drink tickets, decor). They even helped with the break down, gathered all of our decor items, took everything back to our hotel room for us, & decorated our room with rose petals.

    I literally didn't have to worry about a thing on wedding day. They made sure all of our vendors were on time & doing their jobs properly. When that didn't happen, they did whatever they needed to do to fix it while I sat back & enjoyed the day. They even checked in on the groom throughout the day! My only regret is that I didn't contact Jenn earlier in the wedding planning process.

    Let me start by saying that my review will not do Weddings By Savvy any justice. I had a vision for how I hoped my wedding day would go and Jenn and Sara not only delivered, but also exceeded my expectations! Savvy was on the preferred vendors list of the beautiful Halekulani in Waikiki (where my husband and I got married on 12/26/2013) and after interviewing many planners on and off that list, it was clear that Savvy (and the Grande package) was the best fit. With that particular package, I not only had these wonderful ladies there to coordinate with all the vendors on the day of the wedding, but they also took my vision (provided and articulated through photos, websites, and phone conversations) and reached out to and booked the vendors, negotiated the pricing, kept us on schedule, kept us on budget, etc. I can't believe that you can receive that level of service at such an affordable price!

    Again, this review will not do them justice, but to me, what made Savvy so exceptional was the unlimited communication. Not having to constantly watch my time allowed Jenn and I to have very productive conversations that often consisted of me talking through thoughts to help me make wise decisions regarding our event. This also allowed Jenn to get to know us and I truly believe that she was able to make even better decisions for our event based on what she knew about my husband and I and the type of people we are.

    When I think back to our wedding day, I am so grateful and my heart feels full because it could not have gone any better. I know this sounds crazy and biased, but I love the fact that I think my wedding and reception were perfection and that there's no way anyone could possibly have had a better event. I firmly believe that these warm and wonderful memories are because of Weddings By Savvy. I hope that you will decide to use them so that your day will always be just as memorable.

There were so many details we would have missed without her skills and organization. We had absolutely nothing to worry about on our wedding day.     Jenn from Savvy Coordination is a life saver! It was really last minute when I hired Jenn to be my day of coordinator (a week or week and a half before my wedding), but in the short amont of time she was able to help me with my wedding timeline, contact vendors and even on the spot helped me with rentals when another company didnt follow through. You can't go wrong hiring Jenn and her team to help you with wedding plans. She did above and beyond her duties, and without her I dont know how I would have made it through my wedding.

    I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Jenn and her team. She was always quick to respond to my emails/phone calls, had everything prepared a couple of weeks out before our wedding, stayed in constant communication with everyone, and was just so great at making sure that our wedding day was stress free for us! I would refer Savvy Coordination to any local bride that is getting married. Her services are absolutely phenomenal!

    The team at Savvy Coordination were 100% of the reason our wedding was as good as it was.
    We cannot say enough good things about their work, their ethics and their vendors.
    Our wedding was a destination wedding, Australia to Hawaii and without Jennifer it would never have been possible.

    There is not one aspect of their service and vendors products that we were not happy with and I feel that the work they put into our wedding provided the ultimate in value for money at a very reasonable price

    We had the most amazing day and Jenn ran everything faultlessly.

Looking back, I cannot believe all the things she did for me ESPECIALLY when I found out later all the "behind the scenes" tasks she completed while I was in my room getting ready. It all started in December 2009 when I received a recommendation for Savvy Coordination from a friend of a friend. I emailed Jennifer via her website and within a day or so she contacted me and set up a phone consultation. What I loved about Savvy coordination was that just about everything was included in one price (unlimited phone calls, emails, texts, meetings etc). Other coordinators I priced had more of an "A la carte" menu where things could definitely add up. Once I hired Jennifer, she immediately made me feel at ease and I felt confident she would help me plan the perfect wedding.
    I live in California and could only make one planning trip to Oahu. Prior to this trip, Jennifer went to multiple venues all over Oahu to take pictures and would send them right over to me via her iphone. Even when we rejected the sites, she would always come back with different options. This seemed to be a theme that lasted throughout the entire planning process. Jennifer would give us multiple options of things such as: venues, flowers, tents, table settings etc, and whenever we would reject the options, she would come back with more that better fit our style. I actually felt really bad rejecting something, but Jennifer would always put me at ease and reassured me that she just wants me to have exactly what I pictured in my head.
    At our planning meeting in June, Jennifer set up meetings with most of our vendors and accompanied us all over Oahu to meet everyone. She even scheduled time for us to relax since our trip was so short! Even after our planning meeting, we continued to make changes and Jennifer was there every step of the way.
    Jennifer helped us cut our costs and find vendors that were excellent. It was also great that she already had a great relationship with the vendors so everything went smoothly
    On the wedding day, she really impressed me as well as my family and friends. She had her assistant Kaya stay with me the entire morning so I always felt in contact with someone. Jennifer was running around the hotel making last minute preparations and there were even a few hiccups which she smoothed over without me even realizing there was anything wrong! During the reception she would constantly ask me how I was doing, and she made sure I was taken care of by the catering staff. She would watch the time and everything ran like clockwork.
    Overall, I was so impressed with Jennifer and her staff. The wedding was an incredible experience that was enhanced by the exceptional work of Savvy Coordination.

    I'm originally not from the Oahu area and therefore most of my guests flew in for my wedding. I wanted everyone to have a stress free and beautiful day, especially for myself and my husband. Hiring Jennifer was the best decision I made! She created a perfect day for me and I never had to worry about a thing. Jennifer was two weeks past her due date and was such a trooper! She arrived early to make sure all the vendors were on time and setting things up according to my vision. She directed traffic and all of the wedding party, she spoke with all of my vendors for me, ironed my wedding dress because the steaming job looked horrible, actually sewed my dress because the stitching broke before the ceremony, brought me drinks, and made sure all of our gifts and wedding props were in our room at the end of the evening. Overall she did much more, but her help made my wedding day a magical day to be remembered by all, and truly such an amazing event.

    I came across Savvy Coordination when I was entering numerous wedding related contests. Surprisingly, I was the selected winner! Savvy Coordination truly exceeded my expectations. Jennifer and her team were wonderful to work with. I came into the process with my vision, and she took it and improved it. She was available for all meetings and was a true professional -- she even had a hair curler in my changing room (and I desperately needed it!). The wedding day went by so quickly, and she made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. We did not know anything went wrong until we had our review session (after our minimoon). I would recommend Jennifer and her team any day! Thank you again!!

    Jennifer and Rich were the best thing we ever did... besides getting married! We actually had FUN at our wedding and there is no way that would have happened without the dream team. During the planning process Jennifer was creative and super helpful. Always an advocate for your vision, it was actually fun to meet with her. On the rehearsal and wedding days the pair of Kahunahana's were the perfect people to execute. Keeping us on schedule and assured that everything was great. Right up to the very last detail (our wedding night accommodations decorated with rose petals) everything was perfect!

    For me, my wedding day was one of the most important days of my life and having a wedding coordinator was probably one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding. The quality of service from Savvy Coordination was impeccable. Having a wedding coordinator who took the time to make my wedding day picture perfect, yet experienced to know how to handle unforeseen circumstances (without the bride knowing :)) was so wonderful. For not knowing me and my husband our whole lives, I was amazed at how well Jen was able to grasp who my husband and I were as a couple and made our wedding truly a reflection of us. Although I was actively involved in the wedding planning process, I was so happy to have only 2 main responsibilities on my wedding day: wake up and say "yes," all because I had the confidence that Jen understood my wedding vision...

    Jennifer's services are really excellent!!! We were her first non-familial wedding. She made sure I was on task in getting information about vendors and contracts to her and she followed through with her services. On the day of my wedding, I did not even have one worry and everything ran smoothly. We actually ran ahead of schedule (where do you ever hear that?). Everything was done the way I wanted to. She is prepared for anything (i.e. sewing kit for a broken bustle on my dress). Very personable, which is a plus because as a destination bride she reassured me that everything will be ok and I had nothing to worry about and it was true. Thank you for keeping me sane on my wedding day!!!

    We could not have been happier with Jenn and her team at Savvy! We live outside the US and had never set foot in Hawaii. The thought of planning a wedding there felt daunting to say the least! The moment we spoke to Jenn, she alleviated all of our worries. We had regular skype meetings when we needed to talk about elements of the wedding or if I needed help deciding something. She was on the ball with our planning timeline and was so knowledgeable about the wedding world. I could ask her any question, and she had an answer or suggestion. She went above and beyond to make sure that our day was perfect and let me tell you it was! It exceeded all our expectations and dreams. I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in Hawaii.     Working with Savvy was great & really easy. They had 3 differnt types of coordination packages but I really felt like I could plan everything out that I wanted & just needed a coordinator who could help me execute everything the day of my wedding. We hired Savvy for "The Day Of" so that our parents & all of the important people who we'd normally ask for help didn't need to worry about anything on our wedding & could just sit down & enjoy. They were really helpful at all times of the day, gave good references on other vendors & was really quick in their response when we needed assistance with something. We weren't limited to any amounts of communication & had 3 meetings all together to go over anything we wanted to. Jenn (Coordinator/ co-owner) came with us to sit with our catering manager & gave a lot of input. I worked with Sarah (Coordinator Assistant) the most. She was my main contact for emails, contracts, vendors, etc...She was always so nice, helpful & gave lots of input as well. I can't image me getting through my wedding day without her. She was at my rehersal & all day for my wedding for whatever I needed. Whether it was to get me a bottle of water, holding my dress to helping me control my wedding party. They were both so sweet & made everything I worked so hard to plan come together beautifully. They made it very easy to work with them & couldn't thank them enough for making the best day of my life a success.

    Above and Beyond Day Of Coordination on Oahu!

    Amanda and her team were absolute lifesavers as our day-of coordinators! With so many details to incorporate—like our Siva Samoa, lei ceremony, dinner hula, fire dancers, and live musicians—Amanda and her team managed everything flawlessly. They kept everything on schedule and ensured each part of our celebration was executed perfectly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience.

    Their attention to detail and ability to handle the logistics (alllll the rentals!) of such a dynamic day was incredible. They made sure everything ran smoothly, from the moment we arrived to the final dance.

    If you’re looking for a day-of coordination team that is organized, calm, and dedicated to bringing your vision to life—especially with lots of moving parts (and outfit changes)—we can’t recommend Amanda and her team enough!

    At first I was trying to save money by not hiring a wedding coordinator. I figured I would manage without, but as time got closer to the wedding date and less and less things were getting done I decided to bite the bullet and hire a wedding coordinator for day of coordination. I called around to a few places but decided on savvy because they were quick to reply to my inquiries, they were easy to talk to on the phone and their pricing was average from other estimates I got. Jenn and Amanada were AMAAZING to work with!! the weeks leading up to the wedding they made sure to send me emails to keep my timeline up to date and they met with me at my hotel the day before rehearsal to go over last minute items. They were at the rehearsal, amanda showed up bright and early on the wedding day to make sure everything went smoothly. she was low key yet personable with all the guest, she even brought breakfast bentos for us (her suggestion), it felt like she was a friend hanging out rather than just an outsider watching us. it was comfortable having her there making sure we kept to the timeline, i got so many compliments from my bridesmaids who all loved her! it felt like she went above and beyond her duties. Jenn was at the venue when we got there she checked in to make sure i had food, drinks, i was comfortable without being bothersome. I was worried going into this because i'm from California so I thought the communication would be an issue but it wasnt! I would HIGHLY recommend this lovely duo to anyone looking to hire a wedding coordinator!! I only gave a 4 for responsiveness because on the weekends they do take a day or two to reply to emails which is not a big deal at all, considering thats when theyre busiest at weddings but just a heads up. They will promptly reply when they can. i absolutely loved working with them!

    Wow where do I start... planning a destination wedding is hard! But luckily I had Jenn and the team from Savvy to make my dream wedding a reality. Jenn went above and beyond to ensure the wedding was stress free. Even driving us to Costco to buy the alcohol! The wedding was absolutely perfect! Every vendor suggested by Jenn was amazing and everything went as smoothly as possible! We cannot thank Jenn enough for her hard work, professionalism, availability and recommendations. There is no way I could have organised our perfect day if it wasn't for Jenn. We will never forget you! If you haven't decided on a wedding planner, look no further!!!

    Jenn and her team were amazing! I am a bit of a control freak so I would've planned the whole wedding myself but because this was a destination wedding, I realized it would be better to have someone on the inside. Jenn started working me 1.6 years before the wedding and didn't charge extra. We were clear with our budget, and she stuck to it. She found us a breath-taking venue we would have never found on our own, and amazing caterers. Being on a tight budget, she helped us think of original low-costs centerpieces (pineapple, hula girl, shells, and flowers in a mason jar) as our centerpieces. She went and bought the pineapples and hula girls from walmart, she let us use her shells and mason jars, and she found the flowers for us from a wholesale company. Saved us a ton! Her assistants were great and kept me calm and happy the entire day! They printed out my speech for me, they gathered left overs for us to take home, they made sure we were on schedule, they were the dream team!!! Thank you so much Jenn and Savvy Weddings! I wish we could do it all over again!

    First, I'd like to say Jennifer, her team and all the vendors did a AMAZING job on the day of the wedding! Jennifer made me so at ease that I was not stressed AT ALL! If there were any issues or hiccups then I never knew it. She was professional, courteous and always made sure I was taken care of. We had the most amazing time at our wedding and so did 55 of our closest friends and family mainly from Arizona. Many even said it was the best wedding they've been to!

    Some of the things I liked the most:
    -able to negociate with a lot of the vendors. She works with many and mentioned she never took a commission or incentive but always passed those discounts off to us. She also stuck with my budget.
    -I liked "Package" rate from taking my dress and suits to get pressed, helping me design wedding place cards and table numbers to planning my rehearsal dinner with Mother in Law. There didn't seem to be a thing she DIDN'T or couldn't do!
    -Experience!! She has many years of it and you can tell she loves what she does.
    -Detailed timeline of the wedding day and I loved the budget sheet she customized for me so I always knew where I was at and she would update it as time went on.

    Jennifer's response time were slow at times as there were issues with miscommunications with her assistants, server issues and personal reasons however my overall experience was great and my wedding day was PERFECT!! I recommend her!!

    Jenn was exactly what we needed on the day of our wedding. She made sure everything went smoothly, and if there were any issues the day of she made sure to take care of things without us ever knowing. Through the process, she was great at telling us things we shouldn't worry about, and things we need to put more thought into. I highly recommend having a day of coordinator, especially having Savvy be that.

    I contacted Savvy Coordination to assist with "Day Of" wedding coordination for my Honolulu destination wedding. I tried holding off on hiring a coordinator, but the closer the wedding day came, I realized a point person was necessary to make sure everything was handled correctly and in a timely manner. Jennifer and her team played a huge part in the success of my wedding day and I'm so glad I decided to hire a coordinator. Without Savvy coordination, my day would have been much more stressful and I would have been worrying about all the little details instead of enjoying my special day. I also greatly appreciated the fact that Jennifer was willing to work with my budget - a HUGE plus!! Mahalo to Savvy Coordination!

    Jennifer Kahunahana and her team did wonders for us on our wedding day. We hired Savvy for "day of" coordination services. At first we were a little doubtful about needing coordination services at all. I am so glad we decided to hire Savvy as they made sure our wedding day ran smoothly and took care of all of the details that I never would have thought of.

    - Our florist was not very on top of what needed to be delivered. The florist forgot to deliver the third vase for our reception centerpieces. Jennifer was able to temporarily borrow vases from their Savvy warehouse to make sure the centerpieces were set up exactly as we asked even though the florist did not deliver the order correctly. The centerpieces were set up on time for the start of the reception so that we did not even know about this issue until after the wedding.

    - We squeezed in one additional guest the morning of the wedding so the seating chart for the reception needed to be changed. Jennifer's team was able to help us make sure the seating arrangements were correct. I had party favors that were customized with guests' names. As it was too late to print the customized tag for the additional guest that morning, Jennifer's assistant hand drew an adorable resemblance to the printed version for the additional guest's name.

    - Small details such as hunting down a box to contain our gift cards (assistant found a treasure chest box in our rental house that I didn't even know existed which worked out perfectly).

    - Assistant's constant help with my makeup and making sure we were able to eat.

    - Jennifer was a little bit slow in responding to emails a few months before the wedding, but a few weeks before the wedding, she was definitely very responsive and on top of what needed to be done. She is very professional, knows exactly what to ask in order to understand the details of the wedding day and will do what it takes to make sure your wedding day goes smoothly.

    Jennifer and her team delivered great service and we are so glad we hired Savvy.

    We had a destination wedding from Australia. They were easy to get in touch with and worked with us regarding budget and negotiating with the locals to get us the best value for money. They took care of virtually everything for us, and on the day all we had to do was show up. They came to our room and picked us up. Everything ran smoothly.

    I hired Savvy half way through my engagement (8 months out). I’m from Hawaii but live on the mainland so knew I needed help. We booked the Grande pkg which took care of nearly everything A-Z. Our other wedding weekend details/activities we handled ourselves (Rehearsal dinner, guest gift bags, etc) which was fine.

    There were a few stops and starts at first after Savvy had a string of unfortunate tech issues. That was slightly unsettling but luckily none of my files were lost. It was challenging at times given email was easiest for me with the time difference but if I really needed to reach Jenn I could always pick up the phone. As we got closer to the wedding the issues were resolved and we had a standing weekly call which was helpful.

    If you are looking for someone who is super bubbly and over the top – that’s not Jenn. Jenn is cool, calm, collected and handles business. She’s experienced in the business and had strong relationships with our vendors. I had a vision of what I wanted but wasn’t always the best at articulating it or making swift decisions. Jenn was patient with me and always came with a range of options. We hit the ground running once we landed in Hawaii a week before the wedding. We met at our venue a couple times, and with our photog and videographer on timelines – she even accompanied us to Costco where we purchased all the liquor for the reception. Any question or concern we had she addressed and by the big day the only thing left were butterflies. Jenn’s assistant arrived that morning and took me through the run of show. She accompanied me and my bridesmaids to ceremony site. We were running a bit behind which I was concerned about but later learned Jenn had built in extra time to accommodate everything we wanted - including a Tahitian dance performance and Fire Knife dancer. Everything I had in my head was brought to life and the day was pretty much perfect. Couldn't have done it without Savvy, Jenn and her team!

    Only fault would be, we did rehearsal the day before and both us and our photographer asked for our ceremony arch to be facing on a 45 degree angle so that it would not be facing the sun directly. On the day it was facing on a 90 degree angle and straight into the sun which made it very hard to photography, and the wedding coordinator decided that is wasn't important enought to tell us that this had changed even after our photographer questioned why she had changed it from rehearsal the day before when we have requested the 45 degree angle. I'll disapointed and also effected our guest in watching the ceremony with the sun going straight into there eyes.

    Jenn never called me, if I called her and she usually answered, not always but she never called me back or just called me with an update. It seems she prefers to communicate via email, and did so very often which is fine but I wanted to talk to someone since the event was being planned from afar. I find the tone of emails can sometimes be misleading, and things can get lost in multiple emails being sent back and forth. Everything came together the day of (mostly due to our amazing venue) but there were details that were overlooked, such as purchasing tickets for my family members for a tour for the wrong day, arriving 2 hours late the morning of the wedding, not cleaning the vases and forgetting to putting water in them for the fresh flowers, forgetting/not ordering champagne glasses for the expensive champagne my husband bought for me and my bridesmaids to enjoy in the bridal suite which he organized with planners... so we ended up drinking very nice champagne out of water glasses, it was still great but DETAILS were missed. Jenn didn't seem happy to be working in the wedding industry , or maybe just not happy to work with us. We are detail oriented people so we would ask lots of questions and were looking for suggestions since we don't live in the area, but were often met with annoyance and were made to feel like it was our fault that things weren't being done. I was expecting more support and was disappointed.
