I am posting this review in response to the previous review by Ted L. I assisted Susan on this wedding, but to be clear, I am an independent contractor and not an employee of Save the Date Events. I was so taken aback by Ted's nasty comments, that felt it necessary to share my third party opinion of the evening. While driving up to the event, Susan mentioned the way she'd been treated by the couple. She expressed that their communications had been exceptionally terse and critical, but we gave them the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to pre-wedding nerves. The day of the event I noticed they would get quickly and blatantly frustrated at Susan...I am posting this review in response to the previous review by Ted L. I assisted Susan on this wedding, but to be clear, I am an independent contractor and not an employee of Save the Date Events. I was so taken aback by Ted's nasty comments, that felt it necessary to share my third party opinion of the evening. While driving up to the event, Susan mentioned the way she'd been treated by the couple. She expressed that their communications had been exceptionally terse and critical, but we gave them the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to pre-wedding nerves. The day of the event I noticed they would get quickly and blatantly frustrated at Susan for things outside her control (the warm temperature in the venue for example, in spite of AC on full blast). As for the fact that she asked questions and "identified problems", it was because Ted and his wife had been so unkind and made her so nervous that she and I both felt it to be a "better safe than sorry" situation and prudent to check in with them as to their preferences. Their wedding was a blast, and a number of their guests even approached us asking if she still had availability for the coming year. It was a logistically challenging event due to the fact that the only way to and from the venue is via gondola (which never stops moving). Susan busted her butt hauling all the decor, etc up and down the gondola - and then the couple even insisted that she transport the CAKE down the gondola at the end of the night! It breaks my heart that there are people out there who are so ready to tear down another human being who put their heart and soul into helping them. We both jumped at their every command the full eleven hours we worked the day of the event. It was nearly 1:00 am when we delivered the rest of their decor, etc the their hotel room. I have worked many weddings and also hired a planner for my own wedding a year ago. Based on those experiences, I can say that Susan did a fantastic job with this event. -

Working with Susan at Save the Date Events to plan our wedding was the best choice we made. We planned our wedding in Estes Park while living in Lexington, KY and the only reason our wedding went as successfully as it did was because of Susan. She helped us with everything, from finding venues and other vendors that fit our style and budget all the way to all the help during the actual day of the wedding. She's super organized, has a lot of experience under her belt helping plan weddings, helped reduce the stress of planning a wedding (which is so important), and is just an all around awesome person.Working with Susan at Save the Date Events to plan our wedding was the best choice we made. Susan was great to work with! I hired her to be the "day of" coordinator for my wedding in Vail, CO but she got involved about 6 weeks prior to the wedding date and started taking care of the little things that I didn't realize I needed to do. She had me fill out a planning form which really helped me think through all the small details of the day, many of which had not crossed my mind! She was very knowledgeable and so helpful during the process. She took care of everything for me on the wedding day so that I didn't have to worry at all. We were almost rained out but she didn't let on that...Susan was great to work with! Susan was awesome - so thorough, knowledgeable, and responsive. I don't know how we would have pulled off our wedding without her and her attention to detail. On the day-of, she was helping from the moment my bridesmaids showed up for hair/make-up, until after my groom and I had left to help clean up. Our wedding day was beautiful! Brynn and her assistant, another Save the Date wedding planner, kept everything flowing smoothly. Our family and friends are still complimenting us on our fantastic wedding and it would not have been possible without Brynn! We would highly recommend Brynn and Save the Date to anyone living in or outside of Denver!!!

Working with Brynn was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Brynn was the perfect planner for us; she was professional, creative, organized and helpful. She took the stress out of wedding planning by listening to our ideas and guiding us when we were indecisive. Brynn suggested ways to personalize our wedding that we hadn’t thought of and these special details were what our guests raved about most.
We appreciated Brynn’s professional connections and years of experience; she recommended quality vendors and handled any minor issues with poise. Her skills were especially valued when our wedding venue tried to cancel our rehearsal when we arrived on the premise. Brynn immediately came up with several alternative solutions while urging the venue to allow us to practice as planned. We were eventually allowed to rehearse and we were impressed with Brynn’s ability turn a potentially stressful experience around. We can’t thank Brynn enough for her wonderful work leading up to and on our wedding day!

I cannot say enough about the perfection and professionalism of my wedding planner, Brynn Swanson! From the beginning all the way to the end, she catered to my every need with grace, enthusiasm and complete competence. Brynn spent the time to get to know me and my husband and not only provided for our every need and request but always had fantastic ideas to make the evening and experience all the more memorable. I believe I had the most beautiful and original wedding of all time and it was thanks to Brynn.
People would ask me if I was stressed or nervous and honestly, I never once felt overwhelmed. Brynn would vet everything out for me with...I cannot say enough about the perfection and professionalism of my wedding planner, Brynn Swanson! People would ask me if I was stressed or nervous and honestly, I never once felt overwhelmed. Brynn would vet everything out for me with my interests and style in mind and then give me a shorter list to choose from. If I had an idea that kinda corny or not really feasible, she also had no problem letting me know. Furthermore, she made sure we didn't go over budget, which was such a relief to have someone keeping track of everything and finding solutions. I trust her completely and often just deferred to her to make decisions for me, which is saying a lot because most people seem to think that I'm picky and many of my friends commented that they would hate to plan for me because I'm so particular. I just didn't have to be that way with Brynn because she was always a step ahead and is a true expert. All of the vendors she suggested were incredible and I'm actually friends now with some of them, and even Brynn! I know I had the best quality for everything!
So worth it! Anyone not using a wedding planner like Brynn and Save the Dates is crazy!!!!!! -

Amber at Save the Date Events was AMAZING! We were planning a wedding from out of state during a very busy time in our lives, so we needed someone we could trust completely to make decisions for us. Amber was the perfect choice. She is sweet and easy to work with, and super organized. She made our wedding everything we wanted and more, and we didn't have to do a thing! All we did was show up and all of our guests said it was the best wedding ever. If I have to plan a big party in the future, there is no doubt Amber at Save the Date Events would be my first call.Amber at Save the Date Events was AMAZING! When we started the wedding planning process, I knew I wouldn't be able to juggle work and planning the wedding I'd envisioned. After reading some reviews, I contacted Save the Date. From our first inquiry, Amber has been amazing. She returned every phone call and email within an hour no matter the day or time. Throughout the entire planning process she told us that everything would be just as we wanted and it was. WOW! We could not have had our amazing wedding without Brynn by our side every step of the way. The wedding was in Colorado, we live on the east coast. Luckily we were able to meet with Brynn in Denver early on,and we know right away that she was the ideal person for us to work with and lean on. Brynn did an amazing job with our wedding! I was an out of state bride and she was able to give me awesome recommendations for all the vendors that I needed. Then when there were a couple unforeseen bumps in the road the weeks leading up to the event, she was able to help us iron everything out. I kept having changes to the schedule so we could maximize the dance time and my husband and I could take sunset pictures, and she was able to make the timeline work with everything we wanted to do. And most importantly was the day of the wedding - everything went super smooth. The site looked better than I ever would have imagined, she took care of all the details and pulled everything together to make an unforgettable night.Brynn did an amazing job with our wedding! Debbie was wonderful! Her style is incredible. Throughout our planning process, she was patient and allowed us time to make our own decisions. Numerous referrals to quality vendors.
I'm still in awe over how everything came together so beautifully.
We also worked with Gabby and Brynn on our wedding day. They were well up to speed on all of our plans and helped our day run smoothly. By having them there, I feel we were able to truly enjoy our wedding day and not stress over the details.

I got the Get Started package from Save the Date Events. Debbie was wonderful. I couldn't afford a larger package for wedding planning, otherwise I wouldn't hesitate to use more of their services.

To keep the story short, we decided to change our wedding venue due to an unacceptable previously undisclosed alteration to the facility. The first call we made was to Debbie. She found us a new venue that day, set up a walk through for us, and we booked it within 3 days. She informed all our vendors of the change and the transition to the new venue was seamless. It was the perfect venue for us. I know we wouldn't have found it or been able to pull off such a huge switch if it weren't for Debbie (we hired her after we'd already booked the first venue). One other story and then I'm done lol! My husband has two children from a previous marriage and his son got his suit pants dirty after the ceremony. It made him so upset that he didn't want to go to the reception at all because of it. We asked Debbie to help, she pulled out baby wipes, and got his pants clean. Crisis averted. I'm not sure what else might have gone wrong on my wedding day because it was handled without me knowing and that's how it should be! I was able to be a bride and just enjoy my day. Bottom line, having the insurance that no matter what happens you have somebody with you who has dealt with it before AND has the resources to fix it is priceless. Thanks Debbie! -

Debbie and Save the Date Events were awesome. Debbie helped me with every step of the planning process and made everything easy and stress free. WOW is all I can say. Debbie from Save the Date Events is not only the sweetest person I have ever had the pleasure to work with, she is also knowledgable, resourceful, has THE BEST vendor recommendations, and has a way of making any situation turn up roses (which says a lot when you're dealing with brides and their weddings!)! I'm not sure if I caould have planned this wedding without her, but I am SO GLAD I didn't We had a blast and it turned out to be beautiful! There is NO topping Debbie!!!! THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!WOW is all I can say. SAVED my wedding!!! With two weeks to go they jumped on board and saved the day. My personal planner was Gabby and she is just a doll! Personal service all the way!! I called she jumped and was one step ahead of me. I had a bad experience with our first planner and Gabby took up where we left off and redeemed Wedding coordinators for me. When she said she was taking the stress off, she really did. All I had to do was ask and it was done! I would recommend them to all who needs a stress free day and no worries because they are handled with Save the Date Events.SAVED my wedding!!! We worked with Brynn from Save the Date events. I originally was a little hesitant to get a wedding planner, but I am so glad that I did. It was so nice to not have to sort through all the vendors in search of the best one. Brynn gave me a couple options, and I knew that I would find the perfect one for me with the few choices that were given. We did have some hiccups a long the way, a stylist I didn't like, or a vendor I didn't think was doing a good job. The cost for quality was amazing. They sent us as many free samples as we needed. I took our final selection to a local vendor to compare prices and they quoted a price that was 60% more. Loved the beautiful invitation!

I bought her smallest planning package and it was the perfect size for me since I wanted to be involved in all the details. Her biggest help came on the wedding day. She was worth every penny for that service alone! She kept all the vendors in order, did most of the decorations, and made sure my family and wedding party was where they needed to be.
