  Wedding planner that goes above and beyond

  Sara made my dream wedding come true! From the moment we hired her until our wedding, she was the most amazing person to work with! She has such incredible attention to detail, is efficient, thorough, kind, and patient throughout the entire process. She helped us navigate planning our wedding during the pandemic and made it much less stressful than it could have been! She was such a pleasure to work with and the most amazing advocate for my husband and I during the entire process! I would hire Sara again in a heart beat!

  The best of the best.

  I can’t speak more highly of Sara. She made planning, postponing, and replanning a breeze. During a stressful two years, Sara proved to be not just a planner but a friend. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and timeliness are outstanding and I couldn’t feel luckier to have had the chance to work with her. A must MUST hire!

  Sara is the best wedding planner we could hope for in or out of a pandemic!

  Sara was phenomenal to work with. We had to cancel our destination wedding during the pandemic and Sara helped us plan two subsequent local weddings (had to cancel a second one before planning the third). Sara was as much a fantastic planner as a friend and therapist throughout our planning process. She was great at understanding what we were looking for when we didn't even know for ourselves. In particular, she was excellent at narrowing our choices since we didn't want to choose from 100 flower types or bands or venues but instead just 1 or 2 for each -- that saved our sanity and helped keep costs down. Most important, Sara understood our many fears with planning a covid-era wedding and she helped us make sure that we did things safely while still tastefully. I can't recommend Sara highly enough!

  The best wedding planner!

  Sara is the best - if you are looking for a wedding planner look no further! We hired her in 2019 to plan our wedding in March 2020 and everything was ready to go... and then the pandemic hit! She was quick and thorough and replanned our wedding not once but twice! She was extremely flexible and wanted to give us the absolute best event we could have ever hoped for. She is based in DC area and she travels - she did our wedding in NYC and it was the most unforgettable day. I hired her after getting a referral from my friend who had worked with her and had a spectacular wedding (which I attended!).
  
  We are so incredibly grateful we had someone in our corner throughout this whole process who was organized, efficient, creative, and thoughtful. We had people come up to us during the event and tell us our wedding was the best wedding they had ever attended! Look no further - whether you need a ton of help planning/facilitating the event or need someone to manage vendors, Sara will deliver for you and then some. You won't have to think about anything except having the best day of your life!

  Sara made the wedding better than I ever imagined

  It's sort of weird no longer having Sara as my confidant after a year of planning. She took my vision and ran with it in the best way possible. She was honest, creative and her negotiating skills provided us with perks we would have never even thought of asking for. My guests won't stop talking about how it was the best wedding ever and I really have to credit Sara for it!

  Cassie Harwood was the best wedding coordinator ever. She did a fantastic job at our wedding rehearsal and through out our wedding day working tirelessly and endlessly. You won’t go wrong with Cassie!

  We debated whether to hire a day-of coordinator, and hired Cassie after speaking to her. I can't imagine what we would have done without her. She confirmed every detail with vendors, eased our parents' concerns, and best of all, shielded us from problems during the wedding day to the extent that we didn't even know about them until afterwards. I honestly would not have enjoyed my wedding day nearly as much if Cassie hadn't been there to take all my worries away and ensure everything went as smoothly as possible. She even knew several of our vendors personally, further ensuring the event's success. You will not regret hiring her! I can't even put into words how good of a decision she was-- and my husband completely agrees!

  I spent the first 6 months of wedding planning agonizing over whether or not it was worth the money to hire a day of wedding coordinator. I finally bit the bullet and reached out to Sara a few months before my wedding, based on the recommendation of my photographer.
  
  Sara matched me with a hero, I mean planner, named Megan, who was going to be my coordinator. She and I met at my wedding venue for our first meeting and walked through everything. I unloaded all of my anxieties and everything that had not been resolved yet. She knew what questions to ask, was organized and was clear about how to figure out next steps. She was incredibly kind and excited about everything related to the wedding, which I appreciated. Moving forward, I felt like I had an advocate and a teammate as I was negotiating vendors and family members.
  
  On the day of the wedding, Megan arrived with an assistant. All I can say is that they were so wonderful. Megan quietly and efficiently kept the day on track, dealt with unforeseen issues and made sure that everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. The real act of wizardry was how Megan got the center pieces setup. There were at least at least 25 vases with flowers, as well as candles, that needed to be put out on tables while the venue staff were turning over the space quickly to transition from the ceremony to the reception. I honestly have no idea how she did it, but it was very impressive.
  
  After the wedding, I felt so grateful that I went with Sara and her team and wondered if I could hire Megan to coordinate my entire life. If you are feeling like you can't do it all on your wedding day or that you won't be able to enjoy your wedding because of your responsibilities (and it works with your budget), I highly recommend getting at least a day of coordinator and I recommend going with Sara Muchnick and her team.

  We recently celebrated a wedding for our daughter at the Hotel Monaco in Washington, DC. My daughter interviewed wedding planners and chose Sara and I am most appreciative for her hire. Sara was 5 star in all aspects of her work. She was able to work well with the wedding couple as well as the parents of the bride. She listened and gave quality advice on so many decisions for the wedding. She and her assistant did all of the work so that the couple and the parents could enjoy the wedding to its fullest. I would recommend her to any couple who has an upcoming wedding.

  We had such an amazing experience working with Sara. She took the time to listen to our vision and then took those ideas and put creative and personalized twists on them. She got to know our personalities and our likes/dislikes which also created the vision of our amazing and memorable wedding. Sara has so many contacts in the DC area and helped us work with the best vendors in the DC area. She was always available to talk and bounce ideas off of each other. Leading up to our wedding Sara had a minute to minute timeline with everyone's jobs (vendors, timing for pictures, directions for bridal party, etc.) which made our day fun perfectly. There was not one detail left untouched or out of synch. Sara really makes the bride relaxed on her wedding day...I didn't have to think or worry about anything.   Sara made our wedding day perfectly magical. We couldn't have asked for a better planner. She's professional, thoughtful, responsive and has a variety of vendor relationships. Sara went above and beyond our expectations, from taking phone calls from my mom, organizing other wedding weekend events and designing the most personal and perfect welcome bags. She was also very respectful of our budget. Her recommendations for flowers, decor and design were stunning. Sara made sure our wedding weekend ran smoothly and on time, so we could fully enjoy the day. Many people told us afterwards it was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever attended. That's the magic of a Sara Muchnick wedding.

  I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Sara on my wedding. I interviewed a few wedding planners before finding Sara and I can say without hesitation that she is in a league all her own and blew the other candidates out of the water. Her knowledge of the wedding industry and players in Washington is extensive and she has exceptional relationships with all of the vendors in the area. While we hired her as a "day of" planner, she went far above and beyond that role. She let me take the lead in planning but was always happy to make suggestions or offer ideas when I asked. Her guidance was always spot on. She responded to my many, many emails and queries in a timely and thorough fashion--and not just right before the wedding but for the months that preceded it. She stepped in when a mini crisis struck and totally saved the day. And her team is also great and highly professional. Working with Sara made the entire process of planning our wedding stress-free and enjoyable. We had no doubt our vision would come to life with her running the show. I cannot sing Sara's praises enough--she is knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and a problem solver--and a wonderful person who I felt genuinely cared about me and making my wedding everything I imagined and more. She is really a pro and I was lucky to work with her!

  There are not enough words to describe my satisfaction with Sara Muchnick. I hired her because I had a unique opportunity of seeing her in action before my wedding, when I was maid of honor in a wedding that Sara was coordinating. I was so impressed with her organization, her ability to command the attention of a scattered group, her patience with certain personalities. The moment I became engaged, she was the first vendor I contacted ... that SAME day.
  
  I was getting married at a venue that I was less than excited about. It was, in my mind, just so-so. I met Sara there and her creative wheels immediately started turning and I could see that she had a vision. To no surprise, that vision came directly from the wishlist I had already communicated with her. Sara helped in totally transforming the space in to a romantic and stunning backdrop for our celebration. I could not have been more pleased.
  
  Sara is responsive. And for a bride, I think that might be one of the top three most important things in maintaining sanity. I was never waiting around for a response from her. If she was going to be out of pocket for a few days, she was always great about letting me know so that she wouldn't leave me hanging. That was MUCH appreciated.
  
  I have a mother who is elderly and uses a walker to move around ... slowly. It was important to me to include my mother in every step in planning this wedding. Sara was so patient during our appointments as it took us triple the amount of time to move about with my mother in tow. I will be forever grateful for her accommodations in that respect.
  
  The day of our wedding brought the first major ice storm of the atrocious 2013-2014 winter. Sara kept everything on schedule. She was calming and encouraging and kept everyone at ease.
  
  I could go on and on in singing the praises of Sara Muchnick, but I will simply say ... Sara made planning our wedding a true pleasure! I would hire her 1 Million times over again.

  The day of our wedding brought the first major ice storm of the atrocious 2013-2014 winter. Sara kept everything on schedule. She was calming and encouraging and kept everyone at ease.
