  The SD Marriott in Mission Valley was all that the groom and I could ask for on selecting a reception venue. They worked with our budget and always stayed in contact with us throughout the entire planning process. Eszter was great to work with and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. On the day of the event, it could not have been more perfect! The food was amazing and the staff was very helpful.

  I highly recommend the Marriott Mission Valley! They have the best customer service around! Being a bride, I had many requests and last minute changes, they were so helpful and gracious! I could not have asked for a better venue! Most of their staff have been there for years. They talk about being a family at the hotel and you can definately feel it in the air!

  Im so glad I chose the Marriott Mission Valley for my reception venue. They were so great and my reception was beautiful. They were such an amazing value. In my wedding package they included all the normal stuff like food and the ballroom but I also included table linens, cake, ice sculpture, and alot more. Also I booked a ballroom that fit 150 people because my wedding was 120 people. Three days before the wedding they were able to bump us up to a bigger and better ballroom that was normally $5000 more because the people who booked it earlier cancelled. Erin was my coordinator and she was really really great. If you want a beautiful hotel for a good price as your reception venue, go to the Marriott Mission Valley.

  The initial sales rep was great, but when it came to the event manager (Steven), it became a challenge to get responses from him via phone or email. At times, it took multiple tries and a week to hear back from him.
