  The best hair & make up artists you could hire for your wedding!

  Salon SBS provided my bridal hair & make-up services and also helped my mom & sister get ready for all of my wedding events. Both of the sisters are so much fun to talk to & are so kind, accomodating, and down-to-earth. They matched every single look I wanted down to every small detail. They promise & over-deliver if anything! I got so many compliments on my hair & makeup throughout the weekend. They are professional, responsive, and know how to do their job well. Thanks to them I was able to look and feel exactly how I wanted to on my wedding day. I have had many of my friends hire them for their weddings in the past and I will definitely recommend them to all of my future bride friends! Swati & Reeti you are the absolute best in the game! Keep it up!

  The absolute best!

  I was a MOH during a wedding last year when I met Salon SBS and absolutely loved them! I was beginning to plan for my wedding and they were one of the first vendors I booked. Both sisters are so fun to be around, which makes waking up at the crack of dawn worth it. Each are talented in their own ways and make you feel so special as a bride. Also, I recommended Salon SBS to some of my girlfriends getting married this past summer. I was bridesmaids in all of them, so I was lucky to get a few trials in before my actual wedding! Highly recommend Salon SBS!

  Excellent Bridal Hair and Makeup

  I hired Swati for my bridal hair/makeup and her team for my bridesmaids. She did an AMAZING job! I loved the way I looked and how my hair and makeup was done. Everyone at the wedding commented on how beatiful I looked. My bridesmaids also loved their hair and makeup for the event! I also appreciated how sweet Swati is. We shared stories of growing up in the area and she truly was my friend for the entire day. Thank you Swati and team for everything!!

  Beautiful and amazing people

  Swati and Reeti are so adorable people. Without any trial and any discussion on my look they did a wonderful job and help me look the best of myself. I really love their makeup techniques as it gives you a natural look. I got many compliments and everyone loved my look. They did makeup for my Sister, mom and mother in law. They were so caring and loving. It never felt that we met for the first time.
  I highly recommend these lovely ladies for makeup and hair. They are the best people in the field.

  Three Looks in One day!

  Thank you so much for being a part of our wedding day! I've never felt so beautiful and got so many compliments on my hair and make-up. My bridesmaids, flower girls, and mom looked amazing. The ladies were so flexible and worked with me to come up with a modern twist on a tradition Tamil bridal look. They had to switch locations during the day and we had three total looks. The consult was awesome and I felt so comfortable with the three looks and just felt like the most gorgeous bride!

  Swati and Reeti did my makeup, my sister in law's makeup, and my mother in law's makeup for my engagement party in April 2017. All three of us received compliments all night long! I also got my hair done in a cute updo, and it stayed up perfectly for eight hours. Great job ladies!

  Swati and Reeti are the sweetest and most talented MUA and hair artists in the DMV area! They were both very accommodating and expert professionals. I am usually very picky with my makeup, but they were very attentive to my needs and requests and they made me feel like a princess on my wedding day. I was beyond happy with my look. They also helped get my sister and mother ready, both of whom were also very satisfied with their looks. They are always continuing their education and skills in the industry and it shows! All their work is phenomenal. Would highly recommend them and would use them again!!

  What can I say… Swati and Reeti are the best sister make-up artist duos that a girl can have on her wedding day. Both soon become the bride’s gal pals who help the bride feel at ease before her events. The entire process starts months in advance with a consultation where you know instantly that these are the girls you want as you get ready for the biggest events in your life. Their attention to detail and focus ensure that every hairpin to the perfect cat eye stay in place for hours. I danced and laughed for hours during my events and my hair and make-up and the outfit pinning stayed untouched. For me, they were the ones to distract me from planning and have me relax. Reeti and Swati are like fire and ice with their constant sisterly banter. Their relationship and their jokes make you laugh the entire time you are getting ready. I spent hours trying to find the right artist for me before I found them. The best part is that you have two people who work so well together to get you ready. I never knew that I could look the way I did before they did my hair and make-up. It was exactly the look I wanted.. natural while being bridal. They are the ones I would go back to for other events in the future. I remember the first time I looked in the mirror for my first event and I couldn’t believe my eyes.   I typically wear minimal makeup and for my Sikh Ceremony day, I needed a look that was going to compliment my outfit without making myself look unrecognizable. Swati and her sister did an amazing job finding that balance and when they were finished my nickname was "Indian Barbie" which I really felt like a princess!

  Nothing but praise for this team! I hired these wonderful ladies for my multicultural wedding weekend. My family is originally from Bangladesh, and the groom's family is of Italian/Eastern European descent. Given the wide range of skin tones and preferences for hair/makeup, I was very careful with selecting a vendor who could accommodate our varied needs. I've been in plenty of weddings where the stylists on hand could not handle, shall we say... "diversity" - and that goes for both sides of the spectrum. Especially since I am always the one in the bathroom afterwards fixing the various disasters I've encountered, I certainly was not interested in playing that role on my wedding day. They were sensitive to my opinions (when I had them), made solid suggestions when I had none (which was often), adjusted when necessary, and just did an all-around excellent job. I received tons of compliments from friends, family, judgmental aunties, etc. alike and fielded multiple inquiries about who I hired. They did my hair, makeup, and dupatta pinning for my holud; wedding party hair and makeup for the wedding day; my hair/makeup/sari pinning for the ceremony with a trial beforehand; and a quick change hair/makeup/dupatta pinning for the reception. But most importantly, everyone who got their hair and makeup done looked and felt fabulous. I still looked like myself, and I owe it to y'all for helping me present the prettiest version of myself ever presented to the world. I never once had to worry about smudging, sweating, my hair falling out, or even having to touch up lipstick all night both evenings. I just hope I have an excuse to use their services again! For prospective brides who are reading this, know that I would recommend them not just for South Asian weddings - which is obviously their specialty, but for others as well. My blonde, caucasian in-laws who wear minimal makeup were thrilled with their looks. Very reasonably priced for the DC area!

  Swati and her sister Reeti make a great team, and were able to give me the exact look I wanted for my south-Indian ceremony and reception, and my bridal party ladies. The ceremony attire and jewelry is quite different from what is typically seen on Indian wedding blogs, and Swati was really able to get it right. Finally, we were able to quickly switch my outfit and hair for the reception to one I had not tried out during my bridal trial, complete with some fresh flowers pinned to my hair - I got a lot of compliments. Finally - Swati and Reeti are young, vibrant women who knows what's in, what products work well and how to make the hair and make-up work for you/ your style! Her prices are so reasonable too. I would totally recommend her over any of the other "big names" you hear about, who seem to create the same Indian bridal looks over and over again (and for much, much more)!   Swati and her sister Reeti make a great team, and were able to give me the exact look I wanted for my south-Indian ceremony and reception, and my bridal party ladies. The ceremony attire and jewelry is quite different from what is typically seen on Indian wedding blogs, and Swati was really able to get it right. Starting with the makeup trial, Swati listened carefully to the kind of look I envisioned and showed me her amazing talent especially in bridal hair and dupatta setting. On the big day, she and Reeti arrived on time and excited to get me ready. I loved their friendly upbeat attitude as we chatted while they worked. Reeti did an amazing job with my mother and sister-in-law, no complaints and incredibly happy with the results. Swati focused on my makeup and hair. She used various techniques to get my hair voluminous enough to carry my heavy dupatta and pinned it all perfectly. I had never felt more beautiful!   Very happy with my wedding hair and makeup!

  Swati was a pleasure to work with for my hair and makeup for my wedding. We did a trial first to figure out what I liked, and Swati was very accommodating about making adjustments based on what I thought from the trial. Swati is very kind and a great person to chat with during your wedding weekend!
