We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding day! The house and its grounds are absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. Paul and Jackie were fantastic to work with; they were extremely responsive, thorough, pleasant to work with, and helpful during the entire process and on our big day. We received so many compliments from our guest about Rust and how beautiful all of the areas looked. You have a lot of flexibility, too, with arrival/getting things ready on the day of. The rental package's inclusion of the tent, restrooms, tables and chairs, and then also being able to work with Great Blue Heron as an in-house caterer was great- less vendors and details to worry about. You can't go wrong with Rust for your wedding day!Sent on 11/04/2014

We used Rust Manor for our ceremony location and our reception location. It worked out great for everyone because our guests got to stay in one place the whole time, and we didn't have to arrange transportation between ceremony site and reception site. The grounds are simply beautiful - we got married in front of a backdrop of two towering beautiful trees. It felt like being in a fairytale. Our cocktail hour was in the historic house, with a bar set up outside on the porch and lawn games out in the front gardens. When it was time to move to the reception, everyone walked down a stone pathway to a large permanent event tent where we had a delicious buffet dinner and dancing. Rust provides so many nice features including the dance floor, tables and chairs, shepherds hooks to line the aisle, giant chalkboard signs, lawn games and more. The staff is professional and accommodating. We are so happy we chose Rust for the site of our wedding.Sent on 12/14/2014

I loved this venue! I was having a hard time finding a place I liked and the moment I saw Rust Manor I fell in love! They are a hidden gem and the everything about the house and grounds are beautiful. The staff was all wonderful to work with. They were very flexible with all of our ideas and had great ideas themselves. It is also very easy and convenient because they already have a tent, dance floor and chairs on the property so you don't have to go elsewhere to rent them. Their in house caterer Great Blue Heron is delicious as well.Sent on 09/26/2014

Paul and Jackie helped us coordinated the wedding at Rust Manor House. We chose Rust because of the beautiful ground and the helpful staff. We had the pleasure to work with Jackie and Paul as well as Christina, who helped us on the day of the wedding. Jackie and Paul were extremely helpful and flexible organizing the wedding. Christina and Paul did a fabulous job on the day of the wedding. The wedding would not have gone so smoothly without their help. We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. The ground is gorgeous and they set up lawn games for the guests. Kids loved the lawn games. Even days after the wedding, guests still compliment on how beautiful the venue was. We will definitely recommend this venue for weddings.Sent on 07/30/2014

Everything about our wedding was perfect! Paul and Jackie were wonderful in helping our wedding day go without any difficulties. Leading up to the wedding, Paul and his team were so responsive with emails, phone calls, and allowing us to visit (and making sure someone was there to answer any questions). We couldn't have picked a better place for our ceremony and reception. The bridal suite was perfect to get ready in (with myself, 8 bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and 2 people doing hair/makeup) and the house was great for the cocktail hour. The tent was so spacious, never once did our guests seem crowded (we had 130 people). The setting is absolutely beautiful. There will be no regrets if you pick Rust Manor House!Sent on 07/16/2014

Rust Manor House was the perfect venue for our wedding. It is beyond beautiful. We knew this the first time we saw it, but this was only confirmed the more we worked with Paul and his team at Rust. They were incredibly helpful and responsive, always doing what they could to make our day the best it could be. There is so much value included in the rental cost, including ceremony chairs, tables, a dance floor, easels, chalkboards, shepherd's hooks, an arbor, cocktail tables, and more. I would recommend this venue to any couple who wants an elegant, fun, romantic wedding in a beautiful, natural setting. You will have the best day of your life!Sent on 05/20/2014

We just got married at Rust Manor and have absolutely no regrets. It's a hidden gem in Leesburg and not many people know about it. I loved the fact that our guests hadn't already been to our venue and seen other weddings there before. The team was there was always very responsive and helpful and they try to do their best for any request. I asked that the wooden arbor be taken down for the ceremony and it was no problem. The other great thing about Rust is that you are the only couple for the day which means you can get ready early on-site. It is beautiful there and the gardens are so natural looking. I would definitely recommend this place to any bride and groom looking for an outdoor ceremony with a tented reception.Sent on 05/15/2014

We chose Rust Manor to host our small, early spring wedding. The venue is elegant yet comfortable, and the manor rooms were beautifully arranged. We had a gorgeous day so guests were able to enjoy the grounds or sip their drinks on the patio. Paul was so easygoing and pleasant to work with; he and Cree managed everything so quietly and efficiently on that day, all I had to do was relax and enjoy! Rust Manor is a lovely setting, and was the perfect choice to celebrate our romance with family and friends.Sent on 05/14/2014

We are so thrilled that we picked Rust as the venue for our wedding. It was wonderful to have several ceremony and reception areas to choose from all included in the cost. We had our cocktail hour in the beautiful house, which also includes a room for the bride and bridal party to get ready :) Our ceremony was in the garden under a gorgeous tree and we had our reception in the huge tent. The best of both worlds! Paul and Cerrena are a delight to work with! They really helped to make the day perfect for us even helping us to hang our decorations. Things couldn't have gone better. I definitely recommend this venue!Sent on 10/11/2013

My husband and I married at Rust Manor House in July 2013, and it was the best day ever!!Sent on 07/24/2014
Rust Manor House is truly beautiful! It is a special place because of its character, charm, history, and beauty. It was the perfect location for us since it is tucked away from the rush of Northern Virginia, but is still conveniently located. The house itself is gorgeous and has lots of personality, and the grounds are lush and beautiful! I especially like the quiet gardens in the back.
Paul and Cerrena were so helpful throughout the entire planning process and were very accommodating to our needs and desires! They often went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for us, and were always available to answer any questions we had. A few times, Paul walked the grounds with us to help us figure out the best layout for our outdoor wedding and tented reception.
The day of the wedding went so smoothly and was perfect! It was SO nice to know that the house was ours for the day (no other events that day, we could arrive early to start preparations, and we could take pictures before the ceremony started) and it was amazing to be able to dress and prep in the bridal suite and the groom's cottage on site! The ceremony was perfect and the wooden arch we used was beautiful, as was the backdrop of the big trees! (We used the stone pathway as the aisle for our ceremony) Before moving into the tent for the reception, we served refreshments on the little patio at the back of the house and offered lawn games for our guests. The tent was very spacious even for our big guest list, and suited our needs well. The entire day was perfect!
Our guests had nothing but nice things to say about the staff and the venue as a whole! We loved having our wedding at Rust Manor House and would recommend it to anyone wants an affordable wedding or event surrounded by nature!

We had our Indian baby shower here a few weeks ago and we couldn't have made a better choice. We had 60 family member guests so we couldn't do something more low key at home and was like planning a wedding. The venue is gorgeous, a historic home that is well maintained by NoVa Parks and the grounds are beautiful. They also have a permanent tent structure outside for larger events. The staff, Paul and Jackie, were so accommodating, friendly, and gracious. It was very different from where we had our wedding years. That venue will remain nameless. Rain threatened our special day and fortunately held off but the staff was prepared for an indoor or outdoor ceremony. We had our own caterer because we needed Indian food and that also worked out well. The amenities they provide are excellent. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a venue for their special event to check out Rust Manor. With the beautiful natural setting, classy indoor facility, and excellent customer service by staff, you won't regret your decision! It was a dream day and a perfect way to commemorate this time of our lives.Sent on 10/25/2015

Rust Manor House was the perfect place to get married! Jackie, Paul and the rest of the team were extremely responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. This venue provides you with so much more than just a place to say "I do" and celebrate. From the bridal suite to primp, to the grooms cottage to relax, all the way down to the chalkboards that come with the venue rental, you can't find another place quite like Rust. When my now husband and I got married- there was a hurricane off the coast, so there was lots of rain. Jackie helped us go through the rain plan the day before, which we ultimately enacted without any problems. We could not have pulled the wedding day off without their knowledge and help! I am still enchanted though, when I look at photos from our wedding day, as this property and manor house are just stunning. What a place to get married! All of our guests were blown away and had an amazing time, and so did we!!Sent on 02/21/2016

Rust provided the perfect backdrop for our October wedding. The fall foliage was beautiful and the natural splendor of the house and grounds really set the scene for our dream wedding. One of the nice aspects of Rust is that the venue has its own tent on site. The tent is fairly new and very well kept by the staff. Paul, the caretaker at Rust, is quite willing to allow you to modify the tent to fit your needs. Paul does adhere pretty strictly to the rules set forth by the Virginia Parks Service, but he does his best to accommodate any request you might have. Overall were thrilled with Rust and couldn't have picked a better place to have our wedding. Thank you Paul and staff for giving us the wedding of our dreams.Sent on 12/15/2014

My husband and I were looking to hold an outdoor wedding with beautiful grounds and that had classic Virginia charm. Rust Manor fit the bill. Paul and his team were great to work with and very responsive. The greenery at Rust really stood out to us when we visited and looks great in our wedding photos. The value in Rust Manor lies in what's included in your rental fee. It was a one stop shop basically as the tent came included in the fee, as did chairs, tables, chalkboard signs, outdoor games, etc. This cut down on time spent having to find additional vendors as well as additional costs, which as you know can jump up pretty quickly when planning a wedding. Everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding as well as the rehearsal the day before. One downside is that the caterer is contracted to a particular company in VA unless you pay a higher fee but alcohol must be sourced from that company. I've had better food at weddings before (and the tasting), but all in all, I'd highly recommend Rust Manor.Sent on 12/09/2016
