Wonderful venue! USE THEIR CATERING the food was amazing, and the tasting let us really get a good feel for what we wanted for our wedding. The venue was very clear and transparent about the services provided and the pricing of packages. We really loved the groom and bridal suites to get ready in. They not only provided adequate space, but also the venue facilitated the groom and bride's family being able to visit each of the suites during the getting ready phase. All of the spaces provided were both picture-perfect and functional. We had such an amazing wedding largely due to the venue and the staff. We love Rust Manor! -

The Best Day Ever! The Perfect Wedding Venue!
From the very beginning, the communication with Alexandra and the team was flawless.
They responded to every question immediately, with such professionalism and warmth that it put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. Her dedication and attention to detail made everything feel smooth and stress-free. Planning a wedding in under 3 months at Rust was so refreshing.
The entire team was incredible friendly, professional, and always ready to help. We truly felt supported every step of the way, and it’s clear that they all genuinely care about making every event perfect.
The bridal suites were spotless and beautifully maintained, with everything we needed readily available. It made getting ready so easy and enjoyable for everyone.
But what truly stood out was the staff by far the BEST team I’ve ever worked with. From the tasting to every single person that went above and beyond to make our day special. They made us feel like royalty and ensured everything ran seamlessly.
The only minor feedback we received from a couple of guests was regarding the outdoor area, the grass and surrounding areas could have been treated a bit more for bugs, and some netting might have helped with that. It wasn’t a major issue, but worth mentioning for future events.
That said, the staff more than made up for it. They were, without a doubt, the BEST team we’ve ever encountered. Their energy, professionalism, and kindness made us and our guests feel so welcome and cared for.

Rust Manor House was absolutely our dream wedding space and venue, that was brought to life. From the second that we stepped foot onto the venue, we knew that it was the one that we were going to go with. Rust was the first venue that we toured, and instantly fell in love.
Amelia and Alexandria were extremely helpful, professional and patient with us throughout the entire process. Throughout the entire process, Rust was nothing short of amazing. They are quick to respond to any and all questions/communications, and are soooo kind.
The entirety of the venue is bright, airy, comfortable, and clean. We experienced no issues with the venue, the staff, or the behind the scenes. Not to mention - the bridal suite is GORGEOUS, and the groomsman lounge was perfect. We had a wedding with 130 people, and there was no point that it felt cramped - it was perfect.
The ceremony space is absolutely breathtaking, the inside of the manor is perfect, and the reception space created the environment for a nice dinner, and good dancing. The fire pit out back made our dream of having s'mores come to life.
We cannot recommend Rust Manor anymore - and are so happy that we started our forever at such an amazing space. -

We got married at Rust Manor this past weekend and it was a lovely experience. The coordinators were professional and responsive. The space itself was beautiful from the Boxwoods for the ceremony, the house for cocktail hour, and the tent for the reception. We had over 140 guests on a hot summer day, but the tent and house was well chilled. The bridal suite was beautiful and relaxing to get ready in. I would recommend Rust Manor to anyone getting married! -

We had the pleasure of getting married at Rust Manor at the beginning of November, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The venue is stunning, with its beautifully decorated rooms inside the manor and the breathtaking gardens and natural surroundings outside.
Beyond the venue's aesthetic appeal, we were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional staff and seamless coordination. We anticipated a few hiccups along the way, but to our delight, everything went off without a hitch. One of the thoughtful touches that stood out to us was the private moment we were given after the ceremony. When we entered our room, we found a table set up with every appetizer we had missed during the cocktail hour – a gesture that truly made us feel special.
The staff at Rust Manor went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Amelia and the other coordinators were incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Their dedication and attention to detail made all the difference.
We cannot recommend Rust Manor highly enough for anyone looking for a beautiful and well-coordinated wedding venue. Our experience was nothing short of magical. -

We had our wedding in early November at this venue. We had ~125 people which meant we utilized the lawn for the ceremony and the tent for the reception. It is a small team of on-site staff, but Alexandra and Amelia were VERY helpful and flexible with our event preparation. Rust Manor is a well-run machine, and while it might not be part of the initial plan, they do require a third-party day-of coordinator. With their powers combined, it's the perfect team for your perfect day. Recommendations: definitely use the bridal suite; definitely take portrait photos in the library; definitely hire additional restrooms; definitely utilize the garden; definitely hire the fire pit. Additional: we did not have it in our budget for drapery or uplighting - and we didn't miss it. The lighting already in the tent in stunning/plenty. -

We found Rust Manor House online and were instantly sold the second we saw it in person. It is just a gorgeous venue that fit everything we were looking for: beautiful outdoor ceremony spaces, tented reception area, and gorgeous manor home with rooms for both sides to get ready. To boot, the staff is just exceptional. Amelia helped us every step of the way and made the wedding planning process so seamless for us. Our wedding day also went off without a hitch. The Rust Manor team was attentive, supportive, and totally professional and in control. Between the gorgeous venue and incredible team, booking Rust Manor was the best wedding decision we could have made! -

Dream Venue
Rust Manor House is an incredible wedding venue. My husband and I got married there this June 2024. Throughout our entire wedding planning process, the staff was very organized, prompt to respond, genuinely kind, and professional. We found the venue to be an affordable option that still had an ample amount of charm, beauty, and natural elements. We loved the versatility inside and out for photos along with the change of scenery from our outside ceremony to our tent reception. We can’t speak highly enough about using this venue for weddings.

Rust Manor House responded quickly to emails while planning for the reception. Sometimes emails would come from one person, and then another on staff, but everyone knew our schedule. Our event coordinator, Amelia, was very professional and ensured every detail was covered. We had a detailed list of the day emailed to us after our walk-through several weeks beforehand from Amelia. When we arrived to the reception we were impressed with the event - our guests were comfortable and having a good time, our event coordinator helped our day-of coordinator set up, and we had a small selection of hors d'oeuvres and drinks set aside for us before pictures. Dinner and dancing were all on-time, and clean up at the end was assisted and well-run. The site itself is gorgeous! Our guest list of just under 50 was well-suited to the in-house event. -

This venue is a rare gem and we were so blessed to get to celebrate our special day here. The house is stunning and the new updated brides’ suite and groom’s room give it an extra special personal touch.
The layout of this venue allows you to curate the perfect wedding dream with different inspirations, should you desire. We opted to do little with the inside of the house for our cocktail hour because this was such a beautiful space, the tent is large with plenty of areas for your wedding guests to enjoy from the fire pits, to photo op areas outside it is a dream come true.
The best part of this venue is the team here. They are the best in the business treating every couple like family. -

Rust Manor was my dream venue! The price was right for the entire property. We were able to be on site at 8am to get ready and had the whole upstairs of the house! I loved how we had all separate locations for the events: backyard for ceremony, inside and outside for cocktail hour, and tent for reception! The photos came out incredible in every space! -

100% would recommend Rust Manor as a wedding venue. We were struggling between 2 great venues when deciding on one and we don't have a single regret after going with Rust Manor. Besides the beauty of the venue from inside and out, the staff there are so friendly and so easy to work with. Rust Manor was exactly the type of wedding venue that we were hoping for. It was beautiful, the staff was lovely, and the day of the event was absolutely perfect. We are so thankful to have chosen Rust.
The home inside & out was beautiful. The bridal suite & the grooms suite were the perfect locations for both of our parties to get ready. Many of the rooms have recently been redone & are beautiful to be photographed in.
We had our ceremony outside, facing the house and it provided the perfect backdrop. The cocktail hour was inside & outside the house and our reception was in the tent & it was perfect. Our guests complimented everything. -

The Rust staff and team are the most kind and easy to work with people. They were so easy to communicate with and were such a large part in making our day so special. On top of that, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. There are multiple locations for the ceremony and cocktail hour and leaves a lot of room for the bride and groom to get creative. Rust Manor House was the absolute perfect place for our magical fairy garden wedding. We chose Rust Manor House for our spring wedding in March of 2020 for a March 2021 wedding date that, due to the pandemic, was not able to be. They were completely flexible in helping us find a new date and we were married there last Saturday, April 30. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, from the historic house, to the stone walled garden, which gives Secret Garden vibes, to the woods full of secret paths that surround the whole property. My guest raved about how gorgeous it was. The venue had everything we were looking for: historical house that was NOT a plantation, gardens, woods and a water feature for an outdoor ceremony and pictures, and a fully enclosed tent to throw the large family wedding we were dreaming of. The Rust Manor staff are pros at running weddings and they are incredibly friendly, professional and supportive. I really felt like we were completely taken care of from the first interview through the last second of the wedding. The venue comes fully equipped with a tent that has decorative lighting, tables, chairs, a dance floor and they even have a number of decoration supplies such as easels, shepherd hooks, and a cake cutting set, that we were able to use. No need to rent or buy most of the basics, Rust Manor has it all! Finally all of this comes at a price that is extremely competitive and, because it is owned by the Audubon Society and run by NOVA Parks, you can be sure your money is going to support good organizations and causes. I would absolutely recommend this venue for anyone who wants an elegant setting surrounded by nature, who wants the intimacy of feeling like they are in their own magical space away from the city and suburbia but without being too far from Washington DC. Romantic Garden Wedding Venue
We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at Rust Manor. The ladies there are so pleasant and helpful to work with and are very quick to answer all questions. We could not have asked for a better venue - and Great Blue Heron Catering was so great - everyone raved about the food and lovely venue. I especially loved the time and space offered before the wedding to get ready with my girls, we enjoyed cocktail hour both inside and outside of the house and the tented reception was everything we had wanted and hoped for. The gardens offer the most romantic setting and our photos turned out incredible!! -

Rust Manor was one of the last venues my wife and I toured when shopping for our wedding venue. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience with the venue and ultimately chose it for both our ceremony and reception.
Rust Manor sits on a large nature preserve. My wife wanted an outdoor, nature-in-autumn themed wedding, and the scenery of Rust Manor's property fit the bill perfectly. Furthermore, because Rust Manor is part of the NoVa Parks system, it is very reasonably priced to Virginia residents, compared with other, similar venues. Another thing that impressed us about the venue is that it is already rather pretty and requires a minimal amount of additional decoration for a wedding reception. Finally, the thing that put us over the edge of choosing Rust Manor was that the staff seemed to know what they were doing and were very responsive. You definitely get the impression that Rust Manor has done this many times before and that you are dealing with a well-oiled machine.
Ultimately, our wedding went extremely well. Rust Manor staff were happy to work with us to have everything set up how we wanted, accommodated us throughout schedule changes, etc, and had everything prepared exactly as we expected. We would highly recommend Rust Manor. -

Wow, wow, wow! That’s what each family member stated as we greeted our guests at the reception. We were blown away from the moment we stepped foot on the property exactly a year ago. Couldn't Recommend Enough!
My *new* husband and I couldn't be happier with our experience with Rust Manor! We had to postpone from 2020 to 2021 and they made that process very easy. Then when it came to planning and prepping for our new wedding date, the staff at Rust Manor were extremely knowledgeable and quick with responses to ANY questions that I had (which was huge for me). They provide a catering service who did a wonderful job with our apps, dinner, and drinks, and were also extremely accommodating! I had 2 guests RSVP yes the week before the wedding and they were able to add them in the drink and dinner count. In addition to that, the venue is breathtaking. Guests could not believe how beautiful the gardens, house and tent were. I could go on and on but believe me when I say that you don't want to pass up on this gem right by downtown Leesburg! We rented out the VRBO on Bear Chase Brewery's property and had the best weekend of our entire lives!!! -

The moment we saw pictures of Rust Manor we knew this was the spot. We were nervous that it would already have been booked due to covid reschedules, but luckily it wasn’t. Everyone on the staff was phenomenal during the entire process. Very communicative and timely in their responses. We didn’t think the service could get any better, then on the day of the wedding it was even better. They went above and beyond for us. Couldn't be more pleased with everyone at Rust Manor.

Rust Manor House is a truly incredible venue and I couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else! We originally booked in 2019 and had to postpone our wedding twice, but the staff at Rust were incredibly helpful, supportive and accommodating the entire time. I never had any issue with rescheduling and they were always communicating and updating us with current protocols. The venue coordinators (shoutout to Holly) were awesome and ensured that everything was perfect! Great Blue Heron was wonderful to work with as well and happily accepted all of our special requests for food and drinks. Our experience was better than we could have imagined! -

The venue is BEAUTIFUL! The staff/coordinators at the venue as kind, responsive, organized, and just amazing! We just had our maid of honor/best man be day-of coordinators and the staff/coordinators made it so easy for us!!! They were amazing and just had every contingency thought out. Even during the pandemic, I heard nightmare stories about my friends' venues taking their money even when they couldn't have their original number, and Rust Manor offered to refund everything when the capacity restriction was not lifted yet.

My wedding dream come true!
Once I saw Rust Manor in person I knew that it was where I had to get married. It is the most gorgeous Virginia manor home and the staff is absolutely incredible. My wedding was a dream come true. All of the staff was attentive and made my wedding day go as smoothly as possible. The tent is a huge added bonus- most tent rentals can start at $8k and up, so having that be a part of the wedding package was awesome. It is super affordable and a one stop shop to make wedding planning easy. You have one option for catering, Great Blue Heron, and the food is incredible! All of the guests kept ranting and raving over the food. The bartenders were phenomenal and everything went perfectly. I still am on cloud 9. thank you to Rust for making my wedding dreams come true and if you are hesitant about booking Rust, don't be! They are incredible. -

We cannot say enough good things about this venue. My husband and I got married here this time last year, and as we reflect back on our experience with Rust Manor and the staff there we have such wonderful memories. The big bonuses with this venue are how many things already come included. The large tent, tables and chairs and even unique pieces of décor that you can use for your day of. And if you’re dreaming of a garden wedding, the well kept grounds and historic house are the perfect romantic setting. Speaking of the house, the inside is also very well maintained and there is a large bridal suite that made getting ready fun with my five bridesmaids. There is also a grooms cottage that is practical for the guys. The venue, a part of NOVA Parks, does have it’s own catering company that you must use for your food and alcohol. While some might find this as a deterrent, we found this to be AMAZING. It really took the stress off of that area of planning. We had a Sunday brunch wedding and the food was so delicious! We were also able to do signature cocktails including mimosas and bloody marys. Overall, our experience with Rust Manor was such a positive one and we would highly recommend the venue and the staff there for your big day! Happy planning! -

I contacted Rust manor staff during the last week of October 2019 via email for a small ceremony on 11/23/19. It was very last minute but they worked with me very quickly and set up almost everything through email. They were able to accommodate me and my 35 guests on a really short notice. They typically do outdoor weddings but our wedding day was a cold 40 degree day so they hosted our ceremony indoors. We rented the space for 2 hours and it was beautiful. Their prices are beyond reasonable for this area. They keep the place very tidy. The coordinators from Rust Manor checked in with me when we arrived on the big day and even help me set up my guest book. They provided waters for our guests during the ceremony. We loved having our intimate ceremony here. -

The spaces in the house to get ready are perfect for close family and the wedding party. There are also tons of great photo ops both inside and outside the house. Rust Manor is breathtaking!
We had the most picture perfect wedding st Rust Manor. Jacquelyn, Paul and Amy were so easy to work with and quickly answered all my questions. I had all of my items for the wedding labeled and organized with directions on where to put them. They listened to every direction and payed everything out beautifully. They didn’t ask me any questions the entire day when I was busy and just took charge! Our wedding ran like a well oiled machine with no hiccups due to the staff at Rust Manor. The grounds were manicured beautifully and our guests kept commenting on how gorgeous the venue was. We went through the vendor and got Blue Heron as our caterer. The guest kept commenting how delicious the food was especially the beef! There was more than plenty left over for the banquet. We would love to relive our day again it was so fantastic! This venue is incredible. Originally when we were touring venues, we had a different date in mind. Rust Manor house was our 4th venue tour and didn’t have the date we wanted available, but halfway through the tour, we looked at each other and said “we have to change our date! We have to get married here!” After seeing the house and the grounds and meeting the incredible staff, it was a no brainer. They have a full-page list of amenities and decorations they own/have accumulated from previous weddings, and we ended up using a lot of it. Every person I met at Rust Manor was so professional, caring, and knew exactly what needed to happen. We were an out of town couple, but the staff didn’t make us feel like we were... During the planning process, they were available for any questions that came up, and they asked us questions we hadn’t even thought about and made all the details fall into place. Also, they are pet friendly, we had 2 dogs in our wedding with no blips! Every recommendation they gave us turned out to be amazing, especially the catering. We were very impressed with the plated options through their caterer, and our guests and other vendors only had compliments. I could not recommend the property or staff enough! The grounds and the house are absolutely incredible, and the reception tent was decorated beautifully. But the best part of this venue is the people: we worked with Jackie and she made our lives so much easier. The venue handled set up & clean up, and also assisted with some day of details. They require an in-house caterer (which we initially weren't thrilled about) but it ended up being a GREAT combination. The venue and the caterer worked together seamlessly and made our day even better than we imagined. We would absolutely use this venue again!Rust Manor House's reply:

Rust Manor was a wonderful place to get married! We loved the location. The house and the grounds around it are absolutely beautiful, and the price is reasonable for the DC area. There are many such locations in Leesburg, but we ultimately chose Rust Manor because the staff is so experienced, organized, and friendly. We worked mostly with Jackie. She met with us several times, answered our e-mails right away, and thought of a million small details that we would have otherwise forgotten.
I was a little nervous about having the reception in the tent, but it was perfect! The tent was air conditioned, so our guests were all very comfortable. There was plenty of space on the dance floor, and the kids (and adults) enjoyed making s'mores in the fire pits outside.
It was a great experience, and I would recommend Rust Manor in a heartbeat!

It was a BLESSING to work with the folks at Rust Manor House! They are seasoned professionals and not only know how to run a wedding flawlessly, but also how to enhance and improve your wedding day! For example, I had lots of extra greenery and flowers left over, and Jackie asked me if she could use it in other places in the venue. They had made beautiful arrangements around the head table and fire place mantels! Something so small that I never planned on doing, that they didn't have to do (I'm sure they had a million other things going on at the time) really added something so special to the overall look and feel of the day! That is just one example of many. They are extremely responsive to all questions, they have ideas and recommendations for everything, and our whole process from start to finish was smooth sailing. I cannot imagine that there are many other venues in this area (or any) that would take care of their bride and groom like these guys did, ESPECIALLY at this price point! Rust is AWESOME. Especially because of Jackie and Paul, their wonderful coordinators/managers. The venue is beautiful with tons of options for indoor and outdoor locations. They have a ton of optional amenities that are all included in their extremely reasonable pricing. We loved the tent for the reception and gardens for our ceremony. They were a pleasure to work with every step of the way - especially for the two of us who were generally clueless about how to go about a wedding. We toured Rust over a year and a half in advance of the wedding and were wowed immediately. We looked at a few other places, but knew this was the place for our wedding. Jackie and Paul at Rust are super nice, responsive, informative, and generally kind people. We had tons of preparation in advance of the wedding, we had an extremely smooth walk-through the day before the wedding (even though there was another wedding that night) and the wedding day itself was perfect from start to finish. They made everything so easy, were flexible with all of our desires, and made our special day perfect. We can't say enough about Rust - thanks Jackie, Paul, and the whole crew!! -

Best deal in DC!
If you want a beautiful venue and attentive and wonderful staff, I highly recommend Rust Manor! We knew from our first visit with Paul that this was the place we would have our wedding! The grounds are well kept and so beautiful, though what sold us was the knowledge, passion, and attentiveness of the staff. No question was too small, and we could always get an answer within hours. For everything you get and 5-star service, Rust Manor is the most affordable (and best deal!) in the DC metro area (trust me I crunched the numbers with 20 different venues….) PLUS they work with their own catering company Great Blue Heron Catering (which in itself has delicious food and great staff!). Wedding planning is not easy, though Paul and Jackie were so helpful!Rust Manor House's reply:

We had a specific type of venue in mind and the moment we saw Rust Manor, we knew it was exactly what we were looking for. From all the great spaces to get ready in- the Bridal Suite, Grooms Cottage and family seating area- to the multiple places for guests to congregate and talk, to the fantastic secret garden that was something out of a storybook, to the meticulously manicured lawns.. I could go on and on. The venue is effortlessly romantic and classic. We would also like to thank Jackie and Paul for making the whole process smooth from beginning to end- they are an incredible team, were a joy to work with and made sure that our whole experience was flawless. I lived in Leesburg for 20 years and not once ever knew this magnificent property existed until I was shopping for a venue location and thank God I found it! Not only was this place beautiful but Paul and Jackie were so amazing, helpful, and professional every step of the way! We had our wedding on a beautiful day in October and the tent was perfect with plenty of roon! You won't be disappointed with Rust at all. From the charming historic house, to the sprawling garden and large reception area, Rust Manor was the perfect place to facilitate our vision for an inside/outside wedding. Our guests socialized inside the house during the cocktail hour, and traveled outside to play lawn games (provided by Rust Manor as well)! When it was time for the reception, you walk across the beautiful grounds down into the reception tent. All the pathways outside are paved including a ramp down into the reception tent, which not only helped when walking down the aisle, but also made it easier for guests to move around -- our grandparents were especially appreciative. While the beauty and accessibility of the grounds speaks for itself, the hidden gems of Rust Manor are its staff. Paul and Jacquie, our POC’s throughout the process, as well as the rest of Rust Manor’s staff, were amazing. They were thoughtful in our conversations and meetings, creative in providing ideas and solutions during our indecisive moments, and incredibly responsive whenever we called or emailed with questions. We couldn’t recommend Rust Manor House more highly, and thank them for all of their support!

We were blown away by all the venue had to offer - beautiful surroundings, an area to get ready, chairs, tables, lawn games, a permanent tent structure tent with AC IN THE TENT (it was one of the hottest days of the summer and you would have never known inside of the tent - we were cool and comfortable all night long!), fire pits, an incredible catering partnership and the list goes on and on. If you are looking to get married in the Northern Virginia area and want an all inclusive venue with outstanding staff there is no need for you to looking any further. Rust went above and beyond our expectations and provided us with a wedding experience we will never forget. We will be recommending Rust Manor to anyone and everyone that will listen!!

Amanda Sent on 06/01/2018Amazing venue and a hidden gem in Leesburg. Our guests, who live in Leesburg, were not aware of the beautiful location set in a gorgeous nature preserve. An absolute must for any wedding. Jackie and Paul, are without a doubt a dynamic duo. They were always there to help and offer suggestions. With a last minute ceremony site change (thank you mother nature) they were able to calm my nerves and help create an intimate ceremony setting inside with 96 of our closets friends. They both were quick to respond with any questions we had and they remained patient even after I asked the same question for the 100th time. I put my trust in them and so glad I did. They helped create a one of a kind wedding which provided years of memories for us.

I can't say enough about the beauty of the house and the grounds, as well as the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Jackie, Paul, and other members of the Rust team were great at communicating throughout the entire process and were so helpful with suggestions and advice while planning. We loved the different options for ceremony locations and chose to get married in the garden area in front of the property's gorgeous tree. Cocktail hour was so much fun with lawn games and people mingling in and out of the house. The tent was perfect for our reception with a fire pit on the patio for s'mores. Kruti Sent on 05/20/2018My husband and I hosted an Indian Fusion wedding at Rust Manor House on May 4th. Our wedding was 10 hours of an amazing party that was made possible by all the work that was put in by Jackie and Paul, among many others at Rust. I don't have enough words to express my sincerest gratitude and thanks to Jackie and Paul for the countless hours they have dedicated towards my wedding planning and the day of the event.
Rust offered us the most perfect place to host our Indian American fusion wedding. We didn't have to leave anything out! We had it all: perfect bridal and groom's suites, the grooms Indian style procession (Baarat), outdoor Indian and American ceremonies, lunch served inside the manor home, and the most gorgeous tented reception.
It would not be enough to say that Paul and Jackie went above and beyond. My husband and I are deeply humbled by their help, calm and can-do attitude, and understanding throughout the planning process, and even more so for the day of the wedding. We had 140 guests (including kids) from all parts of the world. Our guests couldn't stop talking about this amazing venue, staff, and how wonderfully this wedding came together!
We fell in love with Rust Manor House the day we saw it! It will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you Paul, Jackie, and Everyone at Rust who made our wedding so beautiful and perfect!

Demetria Sent on 01/04/2018I cannot explain how happy we were with Rust. The house and grounds are, of course, beautiful, and it is apparent that they are kept up with very well. Jackie was by far one of the best inclusions in our experience at Rust. She was incredibly patient, kind, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure my wife and I were up-to-date prior to the wedding, and accommodated during. On that note, we had so much peace of mind knowing we, as a same-sex couple, were accepted by all staff at Rust. I cannot speak to that enough.
Liz and the Great Blue Heron catering experience were all absolutely exceptional. She was so responsive and ahead of the game, and we felt like we were really on top of everything. It was really great that catering was in-house (and that Liz was a liaison in handling linens), as this eliminated a bunch of extraneous vendors to keep up with. The food was absolutely spectacular, and we never ran out at our buffet! We got a ton of compliments from every single one of our guests about how delicious the food was - my grandmother even said it was the best steak she had ever had. That is VERY high praise coming from her.
Our only disappointment is that coffee and tea were not served, which is something we specifically asked for. And, like most weddings, full plates of food and full glasses of alcohol were taken by cleaning staff. Something that usually happens, but really shouldn't, considering everyone was enjoying the food and drink so much.
All of that aside, we could not possibly be happier having had our wedding at Rust. We cannot thank all of you enough for being so wonderful and helping to make our special day beautiful. I urge anyone looking for a gorgeous outdoor venue (with ceremony and reception BOTH on-site - how convenient is that?!) and nifty enclosed reception tent, to rent Rust as your venue. Our day was perfect. -

From first contact, to the day after the wedding, Paul and Jackie have been absolutely amazing. They are quick to respond to messages (of which I sent many!!), and always there to put me at ease whenever I was having moments of panic! On the day of, they were all so helpful, there was no need for me to worry about a thing. I can't recommend Rust Manor enough! The venue itself is stunning, and the amenities are wonderful. While the house really sells itself, it's the amazing staff that make the total package. We are beyond thrilled to have had our special day at Rust Manor, and forever grateful for all of the assistance, guidance, and calming words from Paul & Jackie throughout the whole process. The response time from Jackie and Paul is unbelievable and they have a very can do approach. We asked for a set-up they hadn't done before and it was perfect for our outdoor wedding, outdoor cocktail hour, and then indoor house reception. The site itself is beautiful and getting ready in their bridal suite was very fun. We even used many of their recommendations for other vendors and they too were perfect. Having my wedding here helped make planning fun and easy. I wouldn't change a thing! Thank you! -
Anya Sent on 10/27/2017We had our ceremony & reception at Rust, and we absolutely *loved* it. Cannot recommend Rust's team as well as the beautifully kept spaces more highly. The venue is naturally so beautiful and actually quite affordable compared with NOVA wineries and other old mansion-esque houses. I'm also going to link catering in here, as Rust is partnered with Great Blue Heron Catering, and they were also fantastic (their cost not reflected in the $3300).

I was planning my wedding from across the country, but it felt like I was planning it locally from how easy it was to communicate with Jackie and Paul. I only saw the venue once before the actual wedding, but was able to do any planning via phone and email. The grounds, house and tent are so beautiful and was perfect for the outdoorsy wedding vision we had, while still being very comfortable for all guests. We used their caterer Great Blue Heron and were very impressed with the quality and service. Jackie and Paul helped the day go very smoothly, and were so helpful in advance and the day of! -
