  My husband and I had heard a lot of good things about Rick Stanley Entertainment, we met with Rick and from day one he made everything a breeze. We literally filled out a packet that he sent once we singed a contract and the rest was him working his magic. It was fantastic I did not have to worry about a timeline for the reception or anything. Rick was great at quick responses with questions and even last minute changes. At our wedding we had the opportunity to have his partnerThomas as our DJ and he did NOT disappoint! Thomas was very involved with the wedding party and guests! We played a scavenger hunt game with the wedding party that I had never seen done before-it was a great time! Then the garter toss was one we will never forget! ( You will have to book with Rick Stanley Entertainment to find out why :) ) We got a lot of compliments on Thomas and he definitely knows how to have fun! I would highly recommend! Did I mention they are affordable!! Thank you for everything

  I loved working with Rick Stanley Entertainment for our wedding. He was incredibly affordable! I contacted him quite a few times before our big day and he was very responsive and very nice. The services the night of was also incredible. I highly enjoyed all of his work! He was great. Thank you so much! :)

  Rick Stanley was a wonderful choice for our wedding! He had a lot of helpful planning materials which really helped me with organizing the reception, and he even drove over an hour to meet with me to go over all of the paperwork and to discuss every detail of the wedding/reception involving music. On our wedding day, he showed up on time, set everything up, and did everything just as discussed... I didn't have to worry about anything once the reception started, as he took care of EVERYTHING!!! He checked in with us regularly to see if we needed more time for things or if we wanted to speed things up, and he really was the master of ceremony! As for the dancing, he literally had everybody at our reception out on the dance floor at one point! He had an excellent way of getting everyone involved and we are VERY happy that we chose him as our DJ!!!

  We hired Rick and his team to DJ our vow renewal. He was easy to work with, had ideas I did not think of, and kept the reception moving along without feeling rushed. The wedding game he does is awesome! The music he played was a great mix of everything. And the kids were able to request songs as well. Everyone enjoyed it! I would hire Rick again in a heartbeat!

  Sometimes frustrating trying to get ahold of this vendor and/or waiting for a delayed response by phone/email. BUT ... In the end, it was WELL worth it! Thomas arrived on time and was a pleasure to work with. Great, great, great DJ who kept everything flowing smoothly. Very flexible with some last minute changes we needed to make and couldn't be happier with the price!

  Rick Stanley failed to show up to our wedding reception. He had been paid in full and I had filled out his music packet. I had been in communication with him just the week before the wedding and everything seemed to be fine. I arrived at my reception venue after my wedding ceremony and was very displeased to find out that Rick Stanley was not present. The entire bridal party was standing outside waiting to be announced and we were told that there was no DJ to announce us. So there I am standing in my wedding dress calling Rick to find out where he is. I get no response and have to leave a voicemail. Because we booked Rick Stanley Entertainment, our wedding was almost ruined. It has been a week and we have yet to hear anything from Rick. No apology, nothing! (We have been on our honeymoon, and have therefore been unable to try to contact Rick again.) I would think that he would have contacted us by now. Highly disappointed to say the least!! If you want a good DJ service, or any service at all, DON'T HIRE RICK STANLEY ENTERTAINMENT!!!!!

  Rick Stanley Entertainment's reply:

  During one of the several bad storms we had in the area, my business office took a direct lightning hit. We don't know exactly which storm it happened but the hit wiped out both the computer and the back up as well as almost everything else that was plugged in. It deleted and or scrambled data on the calendar that was synched on line. This was the direct result of a performance being missed. Since 2007 when I started doing this full time and through 767 clients, there has been only ONE incident and it was an act of God and was not intentional or malicious. There was only ONE client that was effected before the results of the lightning strike were discovered and she was issued a full and complete refund, an apology as well as extra money to make it somewhat right. It is my goal to provide the BEST customer service to each and EVERY client and that is my pledge to every single client. It’s a shame when unexpected events happen and that event was something that I had little control over. I am 100% honest and try to do business the way that would make my Mama proud every day. I made a mistake by relying solely on technology and Rick Stanley Entertainment and a potentially awesome client paid the price.
