Melissa was amazing to work with! She had a wonderful personality and she was so excited to make our day perfect! Her daughter helped out during the wedding and she was also amazing and such a big help! Melissa made us feel calm because of her professionalism and we knew we were in good hands!

I primarily worked with Melissa and she was nothing short of fantastic. Every meeting we had was positive and extremely productive. She gave me great references such as my florist, DJ, as well as my honeymoon agent. I got married right in the middle of Hurricane Florence. Melissa helped me cope with potential back up plans for worst case scenerios. She remained very optimistic through out the week leading up to wedding day. I highly recommend Relish Design to any couples looking for an extra hand with their wedding day!

If there were 10 more stars Melissa and Relish Design would get them all and then some! As the Mother of the Bride trying to plan an out of town wedding working with a "really good wedding planner" was my hope. Well I got my dream :-), Melissa & company are FABULOUS! Melissa is not only extremely detailed and organized, she is warm, fun, and caring. She has wonderful taste and an army of recommendations for anything you could possibly need for a wedding. For me personally, one of the things I really enjoyed and appreciated about Melissa is she is extremely calm and offers input without pushing ideas on you. On the day of the wedding, myself and my husband were able to enjoy the entire event without worrying about one detail. It was a day we will never forget, Thank you, thank you, Melissa!!

Melissa is the BEST wedding planner I could have asked for! I was so nervous leading up to the big day but Melissa being there allowed me to be relaxed and enjoy every moment of that day. I had planned on having an outside ceremony but it rained that day, so we ended up doing it inside the barn, and I honestly think it turned out even better! I would have been so stressed that day if I didn't have Melissa giving me her advice and support the whole way through. Not only is she probably the sweetest person I have ever met, she knows what she is doing when it comes to wedding planning and decor ideas. My wedding day was absolutely perfect and it was all because of her. I would highly recommend hiring her for the biggest day of your life. You will not regret it!

Melissa and her entire team at Relish Design were absolutely wonderful. Melissa was so helpful throughout the entire process and we are so glad that we hired her. The wedding was beautiful and all vendors that she recommended were outstanding. She was there every step of the way and I love how she took charge on the wedding day and made everything happen as it was supposed to! This was money well spent and we don't know how we would have done it without her! We are so fortunate to have found her for our special day.

Melissa and the Relish Design Company team are absolutely amazing! I was a fairly decisive bride - certain about what I liked, what I didn't like, and the overall look I was going for. Relish was so helpful in finding vendors that matched my style, coordinating with those vendors, and sharing other tips whenever I needed suggestions! Melissa and her team are so sweet and easy to work with and were always there to give honest advice. I didn't want me or my family worrying about any details on the day of my wedding and Relish took care of absolutely everything and executed flawlessly. If anything didn't go as planned I was certainly never made aware!! Our wedding was the best day of my life and I'm so glad I was able to relax and have fun the entire time :) Thank you, Relish!!

Melissa was so on top of everything! I planned my NC wedding from WA so without Melissa's help I would have been so lost. I really had no idea what I was doing, but she took the reins and made sure I had everything ready to go for my big day. she was able to make great recommendations such as a florist and baker. Meredith was our day of planner and she was wonderful to work with as well. Everything went so smoothly on the big day because of Relish - I am so glad I chose them!

You won't find a better wedding planner than Melissa Lewkowicz (and the Relish team)! She listened carefully to my daughter and helped to create her dream wedding by guiding us to outstanding vendors, keeping us organized and adding her own creative touches. She is knowledgable, organized, confident and relaxed- all of which made planning with her so much fun. On the big day, she and her team took over and allowed us to completely enjoy the moment. I would 100% recommend Melissa and team to any bride! She was wonderful!

Let me start by saying I am old school. I realize wedding planners have been around as a profession for several years. I thought this service was only for the well off. We are middle class. Relish Designs offers packages and the price reflects it. I thought wedding planners assisted the bride because she did not have enough experience, time, or people who knew how to stay on schedule with the many details it entails to put on a fabulous wedding.
Okay, now for my experience with this company and Melissa [the owner].
I would recommend Melissa again and again. If there were ten stars that is how I would rate them. My daughter was elated that we were willing to support her with a wedding planner. I prayed that this company was all that my daughter felt it was. Relish Design are professional, attentive, on point, suggestive without being pushy, loving, caring and patient. Of course, it is because of the standard of excellence Melissa manages her business. Melissa and company are a well oiled machine. They are visible but invisible. I would not hesitate to hire them and trust your special day to them. The wedding was a success. We had a wonderful and blessed time. Thank you Melissa.

Melissa was a joy to work with. I searched for months for the perfect wedding planner and finally stumbled on Relish Design. When I met Melissa, I knew she was the perfect match for me and my wedding! With her creativity and organizational skills along with her laid back personality, she's the best kind of planner for all types of brides. If you want your wedding to go off without a hitch and if you want someone who goes above and beyond...look no further! Melissa is AMAZING! We cannot get over how wonderful she was from our initial meeting, to our sendoff! She understood our vision and made it happen, she understood our worries and made them disappear! Melissa was so helpful throughout my entire wedding planning period. She especially shined on the wedding day. She handled every detail so that I could focus on what was really important that day. She fixed any hiccups with ease and multiple wedding guests came up to me during the reception to compliment how wonderful Melissa was. One of the best days of my life was May 16, 2015!!
Let me first say that the job of successfully planning an event is far more involved than I could ever have imagined, Thank God for Melissa and her team of thoughtful, loving and competent people. Melissa is a very professional person with a wealth of knowledge. She guided us threw every step, from the big stuff to the smallest of details, and my daughter and I are very detail oriented people! In addition to the 14 months of continuous planning she also had the extremely physical Job on the Fri before setting up, directing of our day, dealing with any problems that might arise and not to mention the clean up of the decor on Sat night, and we had a tone of decor!!! Melissa insured that we could all enjoy my daughters day without any worries! She was absolutely the single most vitally important person to our incredibly successful event!! She is nothing short of amazing!!!
Now let's talk about those incredible flowers!! Joy is definitely a "Picasso" with florals!! We had an extremely difficult order to fill and she far surpassed our expectations! Joy completely accomplished my daughters vision. I truly believe that these ladies are and of great value to any event, large or small.

I used Relish Designs to purchase flowers and rent centerpiece décor from them. The florist, Joy Klaff is so talented and professional. I gave her my vision for the flowers and she suggested some of the most amazing ideas as well. I gave her my budget and she provided different ideas on how I can save money but still keep my vision! When the flowers arrived on wedding day, I couldn't stop looking at them! They were my favorite part of the day! I would definitely recommend all Brides to work with Relish Designs to have the wedding of their dreams!

First of all Sharon and I would like to Thank You, Joy and your team for everything you all did to make Lauren's & Daniel wedding just what we all wanted. When Lauren looked at the reception area before the ceremony she told me it was just what she wanted, "elegant but simple". The only regret we have is not bringing you aboard sooner; while we didn't mine setting up most of the vendors, I would advise anyone in the future to not wait and bring Relish onboard, do it early and let the Professionals take care of it. We also really appreciate the way you and your team waited on us, checking to see if we needed anything, etc.; it was really a stress reliever.

I also wanted to thank you for letting us bring the urns home, as it made it so much simpler to transport and enjoy the flowers. Speaking of flowers, please let Joy know she did a wonderful job on all the flowers, they look gorgeous.

Again, Melissa, we can't thank you enough for all your help and assistance in making our daughters day perfect.

There is no way my daughters wedding would have gone off so well without Melissa! I can not thank you enough for your help, support and assistance. Being hospitalized and out of commission for the six weeks leading up to the wedding; I will forever be grateful to Melissa for graciously stepping in and assisting my daughter. I had full trust that everything would be fine. However, the day of the wedding I was blown away by how beautiful, organized and smooth the wedding was, and I enjoyed every minute of my daughters special day with her and our guest. Seriously, the money we saved by Melissa's connections were more than the cost of her services. By hiring Melissa, you will save money for your wedding, and you'll enjoy your special day!

Relish Design Company was an absolutely AMAZING wedding planning agency to work with, especially since my husband and I were planning an out-of-town wedding. Melissa was incredibly flexible which was wonderful given my crazy work schedule, and she never ever EVER allowed me to feel stressed, even for a second, which I really appreciated. Even though we had a tight budget to work with, Melissa's inspiring creativity came into play to make sure we got everything we really wanted while still hitting our money goals. Melissa really helped me make my wedding dreams come true and was the best person to have managing everything day of! If you want to make your dream wedding a reality, hire this woman!

Relish Design Company was an absolute joy to work with. They made the planning of our wedding so easy. Everything was taken care of and the day went very smoothly. Melissa was very accessible even with a busy schedule and so personable. She made sure that our wedding was our taste and was filled with elements that we wanted. Working with Melissa from the beginning of planning my wedding until the night was over was such a pleasure! My mother and I met with her monthly to plan the details of the day. Her brilliant ideas, caring nature and bubbly personality made each step both fun and stress free! She was everything we needed during the rehearsal and the wedding day! I never worried about any detail of the day and knew I could count on her to follow through with all we had planned! And she did! Her intern was also helpful and hard-working. My parents said they both felt like someone was there to take special care of them during the ceremony and reception. My bridal party had nothing but compliments! The floral arrangements and decorations with the help of her florist Joy were exactly what I invisioned! Thank you Relish Design for being everything and more we could have imagined!

We hired Blair just 2 weeks before our wedding as a day of coordinator. She was so easy to work with and went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect!

Joy did our bouquets, flowers around the arbor, and all the centerpieces. She listened to my vision and I couldn't have imagined more stunning bouquets and table centerpieces.

Melissa is such a special person! Without her, I have no idea how my wedding would have even happened. She helped us so much with selecting vendors and she would always listen to my ideas and help me to figure out a way to make my vision come to life. Working with Melissa and Relish Design Company is an absolute treat. Melissa's attention to detail, flexibility, friendliness and professionalism is impeccable. I could not possibly have pulled off the event as successfully without her help. Melissa and her team make things happen quickly; they were present and helping throughout the evening with such grace and charm and efficiency that they were nearly unnoticeable, except by me because I didn't have to do a thing! Melissa at Relish Design Company did a great job planning and organizing my mom's 70th birthday surprise party. All the suppliers that Melissa worked with (caterer, cake, etc.) were great and I still get compliments on the party. I was so nice to not have to worry about anything and to just be able to enjoy the event. They did everything from set up to tear down so we didn't have to think about anything except getting mom to the party without her figuring it out!

I would definitely recommend Relish Design Company for any type of event.

My daughter and I worked so hard on the details and decorations for her wedding, and decided to hire Relish for Day of Coordination. It was the best thing we could have done. We met with Melissa at the venue several weeks before the date, and she confirmed what we were doing well and gave us some great advice and suggestions on several things that helped tremendously. Blair and Becca were the staff members who were at the venue with us for 10 hours. They were fabulous and smiled the whole time! They helped set up and decorate before the wedding and allowed us to just enjoy the day. They also worked well with the venue event coordinator to make a great team so everything went right on schedule, and we never worried something would happen they couldn't handle. By the end of the reception, the gifts were packed in my car, they helped get the decorations down and boxed up for us so we were heading home about 45 minutes after the bride and groom left. Can't thank them enough for helping to make a wonderful day for our family.

In the beginning of wedding planning I had an idea of what I wanted, but it was putting it all together that was the hard part. I had never been married so I had no idea what the day of would be like. There are no doubts that hiring a wedding planner was the best decision we made for our wedding! Melissa is the tops! She will guide you and put you at ease every step of the way. We lost power at our venue for our rehearsal and reception and Melissa worked tirelessly to get everything pulled together for us. I did not have to worry about anything because Melissa was on top of everything.

I could sing her praises all day because after our journey together, I consider her a dear friend who helped me step into my marriage on a beautiful day that was filled with God, family and friends.

I wasn't sure if a wedding planner was going to be worth the investment when I first started planning my wedding. When we booked Willow Oaks Plantation in Eden, NC as our venue, Melissa came highly recommended. When we met with Melissa and her intern, Becca, we knew that we could never successfully plan this wedding without them. Melissa and the whole Relish team were absolutely awesome! I know that my wedding day would not have been half as beautiful if it was not for her vision and attention to detail. Everything from the rehearsal to set-up before the ceremony and reception was taken care of. I didn't have to worry about anything except not tripping up the aisle! She truly is the absolute best at what she does. Thank you so much for making our big day so special!

Melissa was great to work with. She tries very hard to listen and accommodate the desires of the bride and family and makes great suggestions to match those ideas. My daughter's wedding had many moving pieces because everything was out doors and Melissa handled the oversight of it all really well. Melissa's help was invaluable!

I was sekptical whether we would get our moneys worth using a wedding planner. We discovered it was one of the best investments we had for our daughter's wedding. The ceremony was outside on an Arboretum with Cocktail Hour at a Manor House close by for an hour or so while pictures were being taken. The reception was at a third location about a quarter mile away. Melissa worked with the caterer and the entire evening went very smoothly. Her team set up, kept the schedule on time, and performed clean up. I highly recommend Melissa and her team. Mother of the Bride

Melissa was FANTASTIC as well as her additional staff that was used for our actual wedding day.. She created the exact vision we were looking for with our wedding and went above and beyond helping us with smaller details such as the bridesmaid brunch and rehearsal brunch. She kept everything so organized for us throughout the entire process. She handled all the important conversations with all our other vendors and made the process so smooth for us.

Melissa was wonderful to work with! She gets to know you very quickly so she is able to make suggestions that she knows you will like. She made this process so much easier, less stressful, and more enjoyable for me. She was especially awesome on the day-of: she made sure my husband and I ate, she packed us delicious catered food and our cake to-go, and she made sure we had water or wine whenever we up and mingling. We were more than blessed to have Melissa help with our event. We had her most basic package and she provided much more than the value she charged. She was there from the beginning of our planning process to the very end, and coordinated everything very well on the day of the wedding. We could not have been happier with the services provided by Melissa. She made us feel comfortable and at ease. We felt confident in our other decisions we made with her assistance like picking other vendors, how to set up, managing our time and more. Melissa and Blair were just wonderful! They were everywhere on the day of the wedding, seeing to every detail. My only regret is that we didn't consult them earlier in the process. They were so helpful!!!

Melissa was my life saver. I gave her 3 months to plan a wedding and she did a great job. It poured on the wedding day but she kept it all together and it came out wonderfully. It made it so I didn't have to worry about a thing on the wedding day.

We so appreciated Melissa's flexibility with our schedules since we live out of town. She was a great go-between for us and parents and I felt like she really listened to me as the bride and made sure that I was doing ok during the planning process (I'm not a natural event planner!). It was SO NICE to have her and her helpful assistant orchestrate the wedding day. There are countless things from the flower arrangements to the timing of events that I never had to think about which was an incredible help.
