Unbelievable
Working with Relish was an absolute DREAM for our small wedding of 30. We’d been ghosted by several caterers, and found Relish with about four months to spare. They understood our anxieties and helped alleviate them with their responsiveness and sense of calm.
They curated a brunch menu that reflected our cultural backgrounds and addressed a variety of food restrictions (Celiac’s and allergies included). The team was communicative throughout the process and unbelievable day of. They moved chairs for us, found the vows we left on our table, and arrived early for set up. They did things before we even thought of them ourselves, leaving us free to relax and host. They left our home spotless and even treated our dogs with love. People raved about the food, and we were so grateful that they packed up and left the leftovers for us.

Relish was absolutely fantastic
Everything about Relish was fantastic from start to finish. Working with the Relish team is almost like having a second wedding coordinator. They helped make our vision a reality and were so responsive, supportive and creative.
The food was out of this world. The hand-passed hors devours were so so innovative and delicious and the quality was fantastic. The dinner entrees were truly five star restaurant quality as well - and that is such a feat keeping the quality that high for 175 guests! We have gotten so many compliments for the food and the service. All of the attendants and waiters were incredibly polished, efficient and fantastic. There was such a personal touch to everything. They even had a specific dedicated attendant for us so that we always had a drink or anything that we wanted at any time!! In her words “she would always be a glance away”.
Also we had an incredible dessert bar that was out of this world and such an impressive display.
Last, but certainly not least - they packed up a sampler for us so at the end of the night - we had a sampling of the food for a round 2 midnight snack! It was such a great surprise.

NOT your typical wedding food
Laura/Ed and their team, including Alison, were absolutely delightful to work with. Their food was delicious, that so many people commented on it from our wedding. They were accommodating, flexible, and just a joy to work with. Simply the best!
We chose Relish to cater our small (14 people total) wedding dinner this past fall, and from start to finish we were blown away. From the very first phone call, we knew that our event would be in great hands with Alison, Chef Ed and the entire Relish team. Since our wedding was so small, we emphasized that we wanted the meal to be a knockout, and Relish went above and beyond to deliver! Alison took time to ask us questions about foods we enjoy, restaurants we frequent, etc. She was communicative and accessible through the entire planning process. From there, four phenomenal menus were curated for us from which to pick and choose the courses. Most importantly, the food didn't just sound good on paper. It truly exceeded our high expectations. Each course (including the beautiful cake) was divine! The servers were attentive and professional, and the presentation of the courses was unparalleled. We were so very thrilled that Chef Ed came out and introduced each dish and chatted with us throughout the evening. It felt special and exciting to us and to our families. Private party
We used Relish Catering for an elopement party and I cannot day enough good things about our experience. The team was so easy to work with, followed through on every detail we had envisioned, and was so wonderful the night of the event. We were pretty hands off with the whole experience and trusted them greatly and they did not disappoint. My wife and I chose Relish Catering because they listened to our needs and wants and worked with us every step of the way, even after the wedding. They did a great job. We wanted to have a southern-inspired brunch with a Maryland twist. The chefs gave us some exciting menu options, and we mixed and matched to get just what we wanted. I'm a southern boy, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But Relish really proved to be one of the best. My wife handled much of the planning and interacted with them more than I did, and she always talked about how great and easy it was to work with them. They didn't stress her out and the pricing was very reasonable. I'm so glad we went with them, and I'd recommend them to friends. Relish has been providing delicious, quality food for our firm's weekly Partner lunch for 3 years. We have also used Relish to cater client meetings, receptions and dinners. Laura Calderone is great to work with - she is responsive, organized and creative. Her customer service is superb. The Relish staff is always professional, helpful, and courteous. I give Relish my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.Relish has been providing delicious, quality food for our firm's weekly Partner lunch for 3 years. First things first, the food was delicious! And the service was friendly, accommodating, and not overbearing. Lastly, it didn't break the bank. If you stop reading here, just know the rest of this post is glowing. I don’t usually trust reviews that are too perfect, but I really don’t have anything bad to say about Relish Catering. My husband and I used them for our September 2016 wedding. They were recommended by a friend in the event business. I was impressed from our first phone call. Laura treated me like an old friend and made me feel comfortable from the start. She was up front about the whole process and crafted a menu that met everything my husband and I wanted without busting our budget. I appreciated most that she offered ideas that were cost effective. For instance, she suggested buying alcohol myself rather than charging me for it. She helped me find rentals that fit the feel of the wedding at lower costs. Her servers were fantastic and so nice to our guests. Most importantly, the food was amazing. And it was not run of the mill chicken and potatoes either. We had short ribs and catfish and a to die for peach salad with a melt in your mouth white chocolate and blueberry pastry. The food tasted the same on my wedding day as it did at our tasting, which never happens. My wedding cake was beautiful and the grooms cake was exactly as I described. My guests still talk about the food months after the wedding. Allison helped to coordinate the day, helping with a rain plan, the seating chart, set up and breakdown. She even took a few great photos for me. With the stress of the wedding and my job, I forgot to make the first payment! It just slipped my mind! But Laura sent me a nice, non-pushy note making sure everything was ok and agreed to meet me near my home to receive the payment. Laura and her team were by far the easiest part of my wedding. Food, service and originality are all top notch. If you need help figuring out a theme, menu or are looking for something that is a little more unique or different, they've got you covered. They are super creative, helpful and have everything you need! Chef and owners are great to work with and will work within your budget. Relish recently provided us with an exceptional service at our wedding in Gary's Loft, New York. I was blown away with the outstanding quality of food, with the level of service provided throughout and with all of the amazing people that work there - what a team! I am an event manager myself and Relish are without a doubt one of the best catering companies I have ever worked with across the globe. Our guests raved about how delicious the food was and how attentive and helpful all of the staff were. A 5-Star Affair
Relish catered our small (12 people) wedding dinner, and it was A-MA-ZING!
We were excited at the idea of how the fancy menu Alison and the Chef designed for us would play out, but reality surpassed our dream. Everything was incredibly DELICIOUS. The presentation was EXQUISITE.
Just like pictured on their website: chic, modern, joyful... Everything we wanted. We were blown away by the talent of the Chef.
Relish was also easy to work with. Around the event itself, their seamless organization was impressive: they took care of everything!
On our big day, while we were a little stressed and busy doing our own things, they made sure everything was taken care of. Everything unfolded naturally, without us having to worry and without our input being needed.
They just KNEW what to do, WHEN to do it... For example, we came back from our photography session (which was outside the premises) right before the ceremony, to find that our guests had been tended to in our absence. They had been served drinks and small bites by their wonderful waiters (top class waiters - marvelous at their job, attentive, discreet, with a ton of panache). We hadn't even thought of what our guests would do during that time… So instead of our guests waiting awkwardly for our return, they were happy and entertained.
Our entire reception and dinner were a 5-star affair. We are grateful to the entire RELISH team.

Do not use this catering company. I can’t express enough how terrible the service was at our party. Staff was rude, the head caterer showed up in a t-shirt looking frumpy and unprofessional (I thought maybe she would change before guests arrived but no) and was seen looking at her watch numerous times, as if to say “how long do I have to stay here for?”. Food was taken and packed away and/or thrown away directly from under guests’ noses and when our guests asked why they were treated rudely. Also, items were missing from the agreed upon menu. We are so completely dissatisfied and disappointed. The head caterer acted like she wanted to be our friend while offering to be extremely helpful, but that was not true and furthermore a moot point when we needed her to do her job and act professionally and capably, not just be our friend and "talk the talk but not walk the walk". She reassured us time and time again that our expectations would be met and she did not even meet those basic expectations which she stated over and over that she would. One of our main concerns was that the guests would be fed and not go hungry. Guests left our party because they were hungry. Pizza was ordered because our guests were hungry. This is UNACCEPTABLE and frankly ludicrous after having paid for catering services. She even told us IN ADVANCE that any leftovers would be left for the guests and that no guests will be left hungry. This is exactly the opposite of what happened. Then after the fact she told us about the "caterer rule" to not leave leftovers for safety reasons. Then why were we explicitly told that we WOULD get leftovers? This is shady. Basically, she lied to us and took advantage of a nice couple trying to celebrate their wedding. We feel like we were taken for a ride and it has ruined our memories of what was supposed to be such a special day and event in our lives.Do not use this catering company.
