I truly could not have asked for a better wedding planner to help my husband and I navigate the entire wedding process. Amy from Relax Event Planning was incredible and such a delight to work with. I know without a doubt that our wedding day would not have gone as seamlessly as it did without her expert direction and guidance. From the very first meeting with Amy, I knew we were going to be in the best of hands. She was well organized, always made herself available for the many questions I had and was always willing to give advice and suggestions when I was unsure about something. Her knowledge of the wedding industry is unmatched, and all of the vendors she recommended were a perfect fit for us. Amy went above and beyond and thought of details that I never even considered — delivering our gifts to the hotel room so we didn’t have to worry about them ourselves, and surprising us with dessert plates in our room because we never got around to the dessert table. She was also there the night before, directing the rehearsal and ensuring all went smoothly. I was very stressed and overwhelmed with the entire wedding process, but with Relax Event Planning, I genuinely felt I could relax. Even my parents felt relaxed! Amy took care of every detail with such care and professionalism. I’m so grateful that we had her by our side. I truly cannot recommend Amy and Relax Event Planning enough — she is simply the best! -

Our June 2024 wedding would not have been the same without Amy and her full-service planning. From the moment we started working with her, I felt a huge sense of relief. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but Amy made the whole process feel manageable—and even enjoyable! She was so organized, keeping us on track with timelines and decisions, and always checked in to make sure we felt comfortable with each step. Amy’s knowledge of the wedding industry and network of vendors in the Madison area was extremely helpfu, allowing her to give valuable recommendations from start to finish.
On our wedding day, Amy handled every detail with care which let us fully enjoy our day without any worry. From coordinating vendors to managing the timeline, she kept everything under control.
We are incredibly grateful to Amy for making our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. Her dedication, expertise, and genuine care for us and our wedding were clear in everything she did. Our wedding day was truly worry-free and seamless, thanks in large part to Relax Event Planning. Elena Castillo, our day-of coordinator from Relax Event Planning, was exceptional. From the moment she arrived, Elena went above and beyond, dedicating herself 110% to ensure everything was perfect.
Her meticulous attention to detail was evident as she expertly coordinated with the venue and ensured everything was set with our band. Elena stayed with us until the very end of the night, handling every last detail with grace and efficiency.
Our band also praised Elena's incredible work and expressed how much they enjoyed collaborating with her. I cannot recommend Elena and Relax Event Planning highly enough and would eagerly work with her for any future event. -

Full Service Planning 9/22/2023
I knew as soon and I got engaged that I’d want help planning our dream wedding. I had friends in the wedding industry who highly recommended Amy and her team. And let me tell you, they weren’t wrong. Amy is the most organized and thoughtful person. She made me feel at ease about every decision and offered extremely helpful insight on many occasions. Amy thought about details I would never have thought of. And on top of that, she had many vendors at her fingertips that she has worked with. Her connections and knowledge about the wedding industry are amazing! On my wedding day, she made me feel so relaxed and I was really able to enjoy the day. My husband and I got to actually spend time with our guests at our wedding because I knew Amy and her team were taking care of everything. I really didn’t have a huge vision for my wedding, but what Amy helped me dream up and execute was far and beyond anything I could have done myself. Hiring Amy and her team was easily the BEST decision I made for our wedding and I’d hire her again in a heartbeat- and you should too! -

Absolutely amazing!
We worked closely with Amy for design help for our wedding as well as she was our day of coordinator! I cannot say enough about how amazing she is. She helped bring my vision of design to life and made it even better than I ever could have imagined! The venue we chose was not exactly what I had dreamed of but with her design ideas & the details of my tables, flowers, decor, help in getting the best vendors & set-up, she brought my dreams to life! She is very responsive, detail oriented and navigated any logistics with ease making our day run seamlessly without any involvement from the bride and groom. As the bride, I felt as if I didn't have a worry in the world about any logistics on my day because I trusted and knew Amy (& The Relax Event Planning Team) had it handled. She truly made the day stress free for us as a couple and we cannot give her enough praise! A big reason our day was so magical was truly because of her!! Would HIGHLY recommend Amy & the Relax Event Planning team! -

Amy and her team were awesome to work with for a Day Of Coordination package! I honestly was totally relaxed the day of the wedding and was just able to focus on getting ready in the morning. We didn't have a super traditional wedding schedule but she went with the flow and helped us schedule everything out. Amy had to leave midway for another event, but her team members who helped us clean and wrap things up were wonderful too. Multiple guests told us how nice and helpful they were. -

We had a wonderful experience with Amy as our wedding planner. She is responsive, friendly, flexible, and impressively organized. She has good taste and knows what works and what doesn’t when it comes to the look & flow of your wedding day.
Amy will be your advocate to help keep you sane in the process while making your wedding dreams a reality. She takes the details into her own hands so you can stress less leading up to the wedding, and then enjoy your time with your loved ones on your special day. That is really invaluable and not a service I’d skip out on.
I have to also mention that she really delivered on my very specific aesthetic vision and made THREE different spaces at our venue look absolutely perfect. Above and beyond is an understatement.
Thank you Amy for keeping us sane and for helping us throwing the best wedding ever! -

I can not say enough wonderful things about Amy! She truly was the reason our wedding was so incredible! From our first phone call, she was an absolute delight & I knew she was the perfect person to help us plan our wedding!
We did the day of coordinator package and paid for additional time to clean up at the end of the night. Amy was so organized & professional and took care of coordinating with all of my vendors the week of the wedding. Prior to that, if I ever had any questions, she always gave me a timely response and offered her opinions from her past experiences. The day of my wedding I didn't worry about ONE. SINGLE. THING. Amy was on top of it all!
If you are trying to decide if you are going to hire a coordinator or not, both my husband and I have said multiple times that Amy was the best money we spent on our wedding! -

Amy was simply the best! She was able to bring our wedding vision to life perfectly! She was always so organized and prepared! She always had the best and most creative ideas and vendor sugestions! She really took time to get to know me and my husband and our style/vision. I would highly recommend her if you are in the Madison/Milwaukee/Chicago area! -

Absolutely Amazing!
We cannot thank you enough for helping design and throw our dream wedding. We were unsure of what exactly we wanted it to look like, so we were beyond grateful for all your ideas and recommendations. It was absolutely perfect. I never once felt stressed because I knew you had everything taken care of since day one even when you were pregnant! From the flowers to the table settings, our vendors, all the decorations and coordination, you were amazing. We cannot stop commenting on how beautiful the reception barn looked. I am still getting texts about how it was the most beautiful wedding our guests have ever been to, all thanks to you. We truly had the absolute best day of our lives and we will forever be grateful for you. -

If you are considering hiring help for your big day, look no further and book with Amy. I was struggling to find joy and excitement in planning my postponed wedding reception (thanks to Covid) and Amy was the perfect breath of fresh air I needed. She listened intently to my struggles and made me feel 110% confident that we would still have a great day. Because some of the event had been planned pre-covid, I mostly needed help with decorations and day-of coordination. She was able to provide me with the perfect service package. Amy is very detail oriented and efficient, but more importantly she is kind and truly cares about the people she works with. -

I can not stress this enough how amazing Amy and her team was. Amy was like my Fairy Wedding Mother throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was always one text or phone call away if I had any questions. She also helped me with some ideas of her own for certain things I was unsure of, like centerpieces. She and her assistants transformed our whole wedding space in under two hours!! She made it happen! She also was in contact with all of our vendors prior to the wedding. Each vendor knew where to enter the venue, and then she directed them to where they were supposed to be. She also packed everything up for us at the end of the night, so my husband and I were able to enjoy our wedding day until the last minute! She truly made our wedding day stress free! -

Hiring Amy was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! From the day we booked her, she was super easy to work with, very organized, and incredibly responsive any time I reached out to her with a question. She's also so kind and fun to chat with :) She helped me pull together all the day of details, the timeline she created was amazing, and I didn't have to worry about a thing the day of. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and it's all because she handled everything for us! I would recommend Amy to any bride looking for an event planner/day of coordinator. Amy with Relax Event Planning is truly a gift to work with. She was with us since the beginning in fall of 2019; continued to work with us since the beginning of the pandemic and a rescheduled wedding a year after the original date. It meant so much to me that she was able to see it all through with us.
Amy is warm and makes you feel at ease immediately. She is incredibly detailed oriented and made the design of our wedding come together so beautifully. Her coordination of all of the design vendors (chairs, linens, florist, decor, stationary, etc.) was executed perfectly and I hardly had to think about it because I knew she had it covered. And man, did EVERYONE deliver! Our day was even more beautiful than we could have dreamed of. Everything was just simply amazing. If you are questioning if you should hire a planner, DO IT and reach out to Amy if you want the best experience! -

I LOVE AMY. AMY was my person during wedding planning. She and I just clicked. She is sweet as pie, organized, and has excellent taste. She never stopped moving and truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt this was our best day ever. Our family and friends RAVE about how wonderful her and her assistant (Sophia) were. I'll never be able to thank her enough for taking care of our day of coordination. I didn't lift a single finger the entire day thanks to Amy. She kept us on time, helped with set up, organized our vendors, and was the go-to point of contact for vendors/guests as needed. Amy is worth every penny (and probably double in my opinion!) Whether you are planning a wedding, private party, or corporate event, you should absolutely give Amy a call and talk about how she can help you make your event seamless!

Amy was my lifesaver as our Day Of Coordinator. 3 months before my wedding I realized I was over my head as I had planned the wedding, but needed someone to execute the day of details & vendors. I wanted it to be someone that knew the wedding process because I knew if I asked family it would be stressful to coordinate and keep everyone on task. I interviewed 3 day of coordinators and hired Amy as she asked the right questions about what I needed for help. Amy truly listened as I told her about my planning struggles and she has such a kind heart.
I had a good outline of what I wanted help with and Amy met me where I was in the day of planning process and molded her planning style to fit the way I planned. This helped us collaborate really well together. She clearly communicated what the process would look like, with her managing the vendor schedule arrival, day of details and clean up. We also worked it out where she folded my napkins day of for a small fee. As I had questions she was always available by text, email and call to respond and give advice. Amy is extremely knowledgeable about what needs to happen and has great relationships with the vendors in the Madison area. Amy also had another wedding rehearsal the day of my wedding which she communicated up front and made sure that during the short time she was gone that there were 2 people in her place to make sure details ran smoothly, a coordinator helper and her husband.
Amy goes above and beyond. One example is she saw that my napkins were going to be picked up and dropped off by my mom, and Amy offered to take over that responsibility, without me even having to ask. Another thing Amy did is that she heard I wanted a Flower man (look up on instagram what this is) and one of my friends volunteered last minute the day of my wedding to do the task. Amy made it work which was amazing as we had not practiced it for the rehearsal and she made sure the music got cut in perfectly on the sound system and that the string quartet was told that there would be this change. The execution went perfect and it was funny. These are only a few examples of the many things Amy did. Amy will always go above and beyond to help you and notices the details that mean a lot to you.
To all the future brides- don’t just hire a Day of Coordinator, save yourself time and hire a Wedding Planner:
My day would not have worked out without Amy. After working with her I realized I should have hired Amy to be my wedding planner too, but by the time I realized I needed help I was already done planning. I would recommend to all brides out there to not just have a day of coordinator, but to have a wedding planner. I did not realize how much work wedding planning would be until the 4 months before to the wedding with all the vendor communications that had to happen. When looking back at hours I spent daily planning the wedding, the cost of hiring a wedding planner is nothing as your time and emotional health are way more important. Don’t make my mistake, hire a wedding planner and enjoy a stress free time where you can enjoy being engaged and spending time with your future partner. Amy will take care of everything so you can enjoy your day the way you imagined it. -

Multiple times during/after our rehearsal dinner and wedding day, my fiancé and I both said we don't know what we would do without Amy's help. She is so friendly and organized! Our day started rough (we were sick and it rained) but I couldn't imagine going through the day without help from Relax Event Planning. You won't regret this vendor! Simply wonderful. -

I highly recommend not only a day of coordinator but I definitely recommend Amy! We got married in the church so Amy was able to focus her attention on getting the venue ready for cocktail hour, dinner and reception. I am so thankful to Amy for all of her help with our wedding. I was in a panic just a few weeks before the date, and Amy came through. She went above and beyond to communicate and plan with me (from Madison to Chicago), and she did a wonderful job making sure our ceremony ran smoothly, despite a power outage, storms, 100 degree weather, and about 20 different vendors. Elena was the lead coordinator for our event and did a great job. My job is as a project manager so I was confident in doing the vast majority of the planning but knew I wanted help for the week/day of the wedding. We met with Elena 2-3 times in the months prior to the wedding to go over all of the details and make a plan for wedding week. She coordinated with all of our vendors to develop a perfect timeline * chefs kisses *, led our rehearsal, and took care of all of the setup the day of (candles, bud vases, signage, etc.). VERY worth the extra to get a day of coordinator. It made it so we could sit back and experience the day for ourselves rather than feeling like we had to manage/host the whole time.
