We truly cannot say enough good things about Ise and her team. I honestly get emotional thinking about them. I feel INCREDIBLY lucky to have found wedding planners who not only executed flawlessly, but genuinely became our friends throughout this process.
Ise and the RVW team nailed every single detail, from the typical wedding planning details down to the ones we didn’t even think to ask for. Things like making sure food was sent to our room after the welcome party so that we can eat, setting up a room for the welcome bags to greet our guests, making sure my dress was steamed the morning of the wedding, or making sure our guests had fans during the ceremony. All of those thoughtful, behind the scenes moments that made all the difference.
As a very type A bride, (which I did not think I was), I spent six months feeling stressed and over involved, and looking back, I wish I had trusted the process and known that they had everything handled.
They kept us on track with monthly check ins and clear to do lists, built payment and budget trackers that made everything feel manageable, and recommended truly incredible vendors. Even in moments when I disagreed or wanted to do something differently, they were always honest, thoughtful, and respectful (never dismissive), and continued to always align with what mattered most to us.
I’ll NEVER forget the moment I walked into the reception and saw everything I had dreamed of come to life, exactly as we’d envisioned it. That feeling is something I’ll carry with me forever, and it would not have been possible without Ise, Mari and Christina.
If you are looking for a team who is organized, detail oriented, calm under pressure, and deeply invested in making your vision come to life, Ise and her team are unmatched. We are endlessly grateful for them and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone planning a wedding!!!!!!! -

The Best of the Best
There are not enough words to describe our gratitude for Ise and the RVW team. Some of the best money we’ve ever spent was on hiring them to execute our dream wedding. Everything was absolutely flawless.
We had met with some other planners before meeting Ise, and once we met her we knew we had to look no further. From the very first meeting her energy, vision, and suggestions were exactly what we wanted from working with a planner. With the easy to follow monthly to-do lists, to the check in calls and easy access to them through messaging, we were never stressing about what had to get done leading up to the day.
We had a vague vision for how we wanted the wedding to be, and Ise was able to take our ideas and create something magical. Every vendor that she suggested turned out great and they helped make all communication with each one super easy. Not only did they help with the wedding itself, but they helped plan the rehearsal dinner and catamaran trip the day after. During the actual day they kept to the schedule precisely and everything went smoothly where we didn’t have to worry about a single thing.
The worst part of the wedding being over is not having our ongoing conversations with them anymore! We highly recommend Ise and RVW! -

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Ise and her colleague Mari. From the very beginning, Ise made what could have been an overwhelming process feel completely seamless. For over a year, she kept us on track with thoughtful monthly check-ins, clear timelines, and steady guidance that made planning a destination wedding feel manageable and even enjoyable.
Our process was very collaborative. We would brainstorm ideas, big and small, and Ise would either execute them flawlessly or dig deeper, doing additional research and discovery to make sure every detail was done right. She is incredibly reliable, responsive, and calm, which gave us so much confidence throughout the planning journey.
She also helped us source truly top-tier vendors in Costa Rica and every recommendation felt thoughtful, vetted, and aligned with our vision. Her expertise and local knowledge made a huge difference.
On the wedding day itself, everything ran without a hitch. If anything went wrong, we never knew about it because Ise and Mari handled everything behind the scenes with grace and precision, ensuring the day flowed smoothly from start to finish.
What truly sets Ise and her team apart is how they go above and beyond in ways both big and small. On the day of the wedding, Ise noticed my dad’s jacket needed a button and immediately sewed it on herself. When she realized the reception space was getting extremely hot, she quickly brought in fans without us ever having to ask. She also played a key role in helping us thoughtfully decide between an indoor versus outdoor wedding setup, offering guidance that balanced logistics, comfort, and our overall vision.
Even with last-minute changes, her team was incredible. When I decided to add tambourines as an activity less than two weeks before the wedding, Ise and her team stepped in without hesitation — printing tags, organizing them, and secretly hiding them so the moment could be revealed during the celebration. It was executed perfectly.
Ise and Mari are organized, proactive, creative, and deeply caring. They are the kind of planners who make you feel fully supported while also elevating your ideas. We are endlessly grateful for them and cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone planning a wedding in Costa Rica (or anywhere). -

Where do we begin?! We have countless amazing things to say about Red Velvet Weddings! Working with Ise and the Red Velvet Weddings team was truly the best decision we made for our big day. From the very beginning, from our first meeting onward, they were professional, incredibly personable, and such a joy to collaborate with. As a New York City based couple desiring a wedding in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, they made the entire process feel seamless and thoroughly organized.
Through and through, their execution of our flawless wedding was amazing! Every detail was handled with care, precision, and expertise. They’re extremely knowledgeable, impeccably organized, and their vendor recommendations were spot-on. Things went off without a hitch and we appreciated how dedicated they were to finding solutions during our planning process! They helped make this the funnest group project we’ve ever been a part of.
Our wedding also embraced and incorporated Ethiopian wedding traditions, something important to us both since one of us (the bride) is of Ethiopian descent. While the Red Velvet Weddings team had never experienced any Ethiopian wedding traditions, they were ready (and quick) to learn and find us the best set up for our pre-wedding ceremony (our Anasgebam). We couldn’t thank them enough for that!
We truly couldn’t have asked for a better team. They went above and beyond, delivered on everything we asked for (and went above and beyond that!), and truly brought our vision to life better than we could’ve asked. Our guests are still talking about the wedding to this day, and we know it wouldn’t have been possible without the entire Red Velvet Weddings team. To be honest, after our wedding is done, we actually missed having our regular wedding planning meetings with them!

Ise is THE wedding planning fairy godmother. Not only is she an incredible person all around but she is who you want on your side while planning your wedding (am i crying? Ha). She was so supportive, organized, and went above and beyond during our wedding planning process. Red Velvet Weddings made my dream wedding possible. Ise and her team are so incredible responsive and made my vision come to life. They respected my budget and priorities and had the best ideas, samples, vendors...literally everything was perfect. I could have never found or used our band, photographer, florist, light company, etc. without them. We had a relatively large destination wedding (~100 people) and on the week of, they were so professional and kept the timeline moving seamlessly. My family and I experienced 0 stress on the day of the wedding because of them. They were so helpful for my out of town guests and people couldn't stop commenting about how great they were. I cannot recommend them enough! -

The title says it all. Our destination wedding experience was absolutely perfect thanks to the Red Velvet team. Ise not only planned our wedding but she also helped our whole group with a shuttle service to/from the airport, an excursion prior to the wedding, and a welcome party. They were able to execute exactly what I was envisioning in my head for the entire trip and also helped with so many last minute emergencies I don't even have the words to thank them. We worked together for almost two years and during that time the Red Velvet team were responsive and so easy to work with. I can definitely be a little moody at times and Ise was able to navigate my emotions and long winded emails seamlessly. These ladies are professionals at what they do and it shows! Their attention to detail is impeccable, Ise truly knows the ins and outs of not only what a wedding should include, but also who the best local vendors are. We got married during a tropical storm and Ise was able to change our whole setup from a garden reception to a covered terrace area and it ended up being even better than the original plan. Don't ask me how, but she even made it stop raining so I could have the outdoor jungle ceremony I've always dreamed of. Every single one of my guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. There is no way I would have been able to pull any of this off with out Red Velvet! -

Ise and the Red Velvet Wedding Team made all of our dreams come true for our multi-day Indian wedding in the remote beach town of Islita, Costa Rica.
The RVW team was there every step of the way to ensure we had a seamless experience - from helping us finalize and negotiate contracts, to countless menu tastings (so that the food experience was "just right"), to being responsive and open to feedback to match our planning styles - they really did it all! Our wedding was a particularly complicated one with multiple days, multiple vendors, and an off-the-beaten-path location. During the days of our wedding, RVW kept us (bride and groom) and our families calm, made sure everything got done, and handled any issues immediately.
I would strongly recommend working with this team if you are interested in a destination wedding (especially with cultural fusion) in Costa Rica. We are forever grateful to have memories that will last a lifetime - and know we will walk away with a friendship too!

Words cannot describe how thankful we are for Ise and her team (thank you Mariela and Lola )! Without them our wedding would not have nearly been the success it was. From the moment we met Ise we clicked and could not wait to meet her in person, and it was bittersweet as our wedding ended since we knew we would not have our monthly calls. Ise and her team made planning our wedding such a fun and enjoyable process, we loved collaborating with them to bring our dream to life.
Ise and her team are incredibly well connected. She made the process of selecting vendors so easy. She recommended 2-4 vendors per category and we were then able to make decisions based on our favorites. Each vendor was so amazing and truly delivered, creating the most magical evening. When we had some out of the box requests (catamaran for over 90 people and popsicles at our Welcome Party ) Ise pulled out her rolodex of contacts and was able to make all of our dreams come true! We had never visited the venue, let alone that area of Costa Rica, the Red Velvet team put our minds at ease by touring the venue and setting up virtual consultations with certain vendors.
Further, Ise and the Red Velvet team are so beyond organized. Each step of the way we knew exactly what our homework was and what we needed to do to ensure all the small details were set.
Lastly, Ise and team handled some curveballs on our wedding day so incredibly well. The team was able to extend our dancing and handled the wedding day logistics seamlessly. The day ran so smoothly, and we knew we did not have to worry about anything!
Hiring Red Velvet Weddings was the best money we spent, our wedding would not have been the success that it was without them. Working with Ise and her team was incredibly lovely and easy! We planned to have a small, second wedding in Guanacaste - since our first wedding was impacted by COVID - and we wanted it to be special and unique while also staying within budget. We cannot praise Ise and her Red Velvet Wedding team enough! They were with us every step of the way helping to ensure our special day was magical. They did not miss a beat. They helped us plan all of the logistics and identify the best vendors from how people were going to make it from the airport to the resort, when to hold various events such as the welcome dinner and sunset catamaran cruise, types of flowers, food, best way to decorate, and even helping to ensure the reception was cooled with outdoor AC units to keep us cool in unprecedented heat.
Throughout the day of the wedding, they had to coordinate so many vendors, wedding party, and all sorts of other mishaps (ask her about the resort maintenance guy falling through the roof), yet they always showed up just when we needed them to help with various preparation for us, the bride and groom. At no time during the wedding day were we stressed about anything. We knew Ise and the team had everything under control. We just needed to show up and enjoy ourselves. They even saved food for us from the cocktail hour while we were getting pictures as well as saving us an assortment of desserts from our dessert table. They are ON IT!
Red Velvet Weddings has the right experience, connections, and know-how to give you a stress-free, magical experience. You won’t regret it!

It’s me. Hi. I’m the Bridezilla, it’s me.
My now-husband and I had a 3-day, event PACKED wedding at the Andaz in Costa Rica. Our wedding celebration exceeded my wildest dreams and has left our 140 closest family and friends with memories we will cherish for a lifetime.
Were we demanding? Yes. Did we ask for a horse, an ATV excursion, a catamaran to beach bbq event, over the top wedding reception, cocktail welcome party, and a million details to boot? Yes. Did Ise and her team come through for us and deliver? YES.
My husband and I are very grateful for Ise, Mariela, and Lola. We had some major issues with venue changes and after months of planning our wedding, we had to change course. They did triple the work and never asked for an extra cent. Ise has become a part of our life story and I am grateful that we chose her.
She is young, ambitious, and full of grit. She will fight for you and become more than a planner; she will be your friend. She will guide you on the best vendors and be honest with you and take charge. She changed my bouquet last minute without even asking me and I am so glad she did. She walked into the bridal suite with something totally different and so much better than the original. And I’m a control freak.
Most importantly, my wedding was awesomeee and all the events that accompanied were magical and beyond fabulous. Our guests have not stopped complimenting us.

Red Velvet Weddings is a MUST for planning a wedding in Costa Rica
Words cannot begin to describe how much we loved working with Ise, Mariela, and Lola. Over the course of a year, we would receive a to do list at the beginning of the month along with a check in call. Never in the process did we feel rushed or overwhelmed. Everyone kept asking how the planning was going and every time they were so surprised when I said how little stressed I was. I knew every detail was taken care of and any issue was addressed. From the start, we knew we weren’t going to have a traditional type of wedding. Ise and her team made sure that we still got the “wedding” experience while still making it feel like us. All of the vendors she recommended were top notch. Our family and friends were blown away with how attentive the team was to fixing issues with room reservations, shuttle services to and from the airport, and just general questions. There is no way we could have planned a destination wedding in Costa Rica without the Red Velvet team. Every detail of our wedding exceed our expectations and we had the most amazing day. -

Impeccable Wedding Planner!
I worked with Ise from Red Velvet Wedding for our wedding in March 2023. Since I was getting married to a man, I was nervous about finding someone who would be accepting in a foreign country. However, Ise was so wonderful and inclusive when she worked with us.
I was mainly looking for someone who was very organized and could give me a monthly to-do list and would have excellent communication skills. From my first meeting with Ise, I could tell that she would surpass my expectations in both organization and communication! I loved her style and wanting to get to know us as a couple first before we got into the design and details for our wedding.
Ise has been an excellent wedding planner from the start to the finish. She always kept her cool despite obstacles that came up during the planning process. Since I was a bit naive in the wedding planning, it was a relief that Ise always remained calm and was able to problem solve so easily.
Ise was very respectful and professional but she also genuinely cared about our happiness and became a friend through the process. She always listened to our ideas and was able to do exactly what we had envisioned and more!
In terms of the budget, we had given her a number, and she did an awesome job of keeping within that budget. I felt like I got what I had wanted without going over our first-agreed upon budget. Ise was able to do negotiations with all the vendors on our behalf and was able to get us discounts on various items. It was definitely worth the money to hire her as a full wedding planner since she saved us money throughout the process.
I truly loved our wedding experience when we finally got married in March. She was able to infuse my Indian culture with the Western ceremony, and I was so happy with the results. All of the guests felt well taken care of at El Mangroove in Guanacaste. They spoke so highly of the resort, the wedding, and the wedding planner. They were so impressed that Ise kept us all on time for each event!
I highly recommend Ise and Red Velvet Weddings team for anyone who is interested in getting married. Despite this being her first gay wedding, it did not phase her and she was able to tailor the wedding to our needs. She is so welcoming and inclusive that anyone would feel comfortable working with her. Thanks for doing such an awesome job and making our wedding experience memorable! -

Getting married in Costa Rica but live abroad? Look no further & hire the Red Velvet Team. Ise & her team helped me take my wedding plans to the next level. Our wedding became a seamless production and left our friends and family wowed.
One of the most difficult components of planning a destination wedding for me was knowing if I was getting the best price for a service or if I was using reliable vendors. Ise and her team’s experience and relationships with vendors helped us not only plan, but also make strategic decisions to help us save money and get the most out of our vendors. Without her guidance, I would have missed out on enhancing details of the wedding that only an expert would know.
On the day of, Ise and her team allowed me to enjoy the day. Ise provided structure but also fluidity that reduced stressed for my wedding party, family, and me. Ise prioritized our happiness & well being (ie: I was able to enjoy a full dinner at the reception) throughout the entire wedding week.
If I could have done anything different for my wedding, it would have been hiring the Red Velvet team sooner during my planning. I’m so grateful for Ise & her team for helping me create my dream wedding and even more grateful for the new friendships I developed with Ise and her team.

Worth every penny and then some! Great Experience.
I knew I needed to hire a wedding planner when planning a wedding in another country but I was very skeptical about doing so. I landed on Red Velvet Weddings after meeting Ise on Zoom and it was the easiest yes! Ise is very professional and very down to earth.
From the beginning I felt that she was just as invested in my wedding experience as I was and that was everything. She listened, took my ideas and requests about decor and a few extracurricular things I wanted, and brought everything to life.
I can sometimes be very type A but I decided before even hiring her that I wouldn't be that way for my wedding so I can just enjoy the experience however it all came together. On the day of the wedding Ise was a drill sergeant (a kind one) and I loved every bit of it! She was, so I didn't need to be. Get us together girl! It was great and I trusted her wholeheartedly the entire time.
She helped us put together a welcome party the day before the wedding. Helped us organize travel for all our guests flying in. And she helped us book a private boat for our party the day after the wedding which was the highlight of the trip outside of the actual wedding.
Our wedding was beautiful! Everyone had the best time.

There's too many good things to say about Ise here! The short version is this: If you're planning a wedding in Costa Rica, hire her. Period.
The longer version: After two years of regularly occurring zoom meetings, which was really only supposed to be one (thank you Covid for the last minute reschedule), we had a perfect wedding - two actually. A traditional Hindu ceremony in the AM, a Jewish ceremony in the PM, all followed by a mind blowing party on the beach that stretched to all hours of the night. Her creative vision, understanding of different cultural ceremonies, relationships with the absolute best vendors, calm disposition, and knowledge of all things Costa Rica came together in every way. Also, she's a truly nice person to work with.

The day of went so smoothly, Ise and her team handled everything and stuck totally to the timeline. She also recommended unique and fun elements such as the fire dancers on the beach, awesome engraved coconut drinks we used for our seating chart, and super cute personalized drink pouches for everyone to sip on during the ceremony. If you're getting married in Costa Rica, you HAVE to hire Ise! We got married on 12/9/22 at the Andaz, and everything was absolutely perfect... couldn't have asked for a better planner!
When I met Ise for the first time, I was visiting for venue touring and I showed up with my little wedding planning binder - Ise asked me why I had a binder because SHE was my wedding binder ... and she totally was! Everything was so organized and the level of detail was impeccable.
Through the process, Ise provided excellent recommendations for vendors (her A team is truly A+++!), negotiated great rates for us, guided us to stunning design and delicious food, coordinated a Catamaran excursions for our guests, and even helped us plan our honeymoon afterward at Origins (great recommendation!). Everything turned out even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Our guests were amazed by the beauty of the wedding, some saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to!

My husband and I interviewed 5 different wedding planners in Costa Rica and we knew that Ise was the one within 5 minutes of speaking to her. Her professionalism, portfolio, experience and confidence just blew away the competition. I’m not your typical bride who has dreamed about her wedding since I was 5 so I didn’t come with a list of requests for our wedding. What we needed was someone who could get to know us and create a unique and tailored experience without burying us in questionnaires. Actually, what I needed was JLo from The Wedding Planner and that’s really who Ise is. No joke, she has that waist belt emergency kit and she can fix anything!
Throughout the 1.5 year planning process (we delayed once) Ise made it really easy for us to stay in communication and on schedule, using easy scheduling and organizational technology. We both work full time so flexibility and punctuality are very important to us. Ise strikes the perfect balance of giving you space when you’re tied up and she’ll crack the whip when you’ll regret staying on track with high-priority deadlines, which I really appreciated/needed.
She brought us the best vendors and we really trusted her to advocate on our behalf when it came time for negotiations and edits. We were also able to see flowers, tablescapes and fabrics in person, which was so important to us because we’re both really visual people.
We planned a 4-night event in Manual Antonio and our family flew in from all over the world. As you can imagine, there were a lot of last minute questions and requests from people and Ise and her team did a wonderful job at providing a buffer between us and a few high maintenance guests (sorry mom) as we approached the big day. What we really wanted was to go into the wedding with as little stress as possible so that we could really enjoy the experience. Let me just say, my husband and I had THE BEST TIME EVERRRRR!!! If anything went wrong, we didn’t see it and we felt confident the whole time that whatever was happening behind the scenes was handled by Ise and her team (shoutout to Magui!).
We really couldn’t have asked for more out of this experience. Ise even surprised us with a special guest when we walked out of the ceremony (see pics). If I could do it all over again, we would 100% choose Red Velvet Weddings. -

My husband and I planned a 4 day long Indian wedding in Costa Rica. Ise and her team were VITAL to the success of our wedding. Our guests kept exclaiming at how amazing everything was from the food, decor, logistics, venues, and the fact that nothing went wrong. I am forever indebted to the Red Velvet Weddings team. From day one, they helped us negotiate with our hotel (even reaching out to our previous venue in Bali to get our money back due to COVID cancelling our wedding) and all of our vendors. Ise had such a beautiful vision and she made all of our dreams come true from the tiniest details. She is BEYOND communicative. I endlessly texted her and she always responded immediately and was so helpful. I could setup as many meetings with her as I wanted and I found that to be so important to our experience (and my anxiety). Throughout the entire experience she and I were always on the same page. On the days of the events, Ise was VITAL. She made sure nothing went wrong, she managed our guests, she made sure we always ate and had fresh cocktails. Honestly, I felt so taken care of that I actually got to enjoy our wedding and be present and experience it with our friends and family. I felt so much relief knowing she and her team were there. Planning a destination wedding is tough. Planning an Indian wedding is tough. She makes planning an Indian destination wedding look easy. Ise and her team with Red Velvet Weddings we’re phenomenal to work with from start to finish. We had a wedding with over 60 guests in Costa Rica at the Andaz Hotel. When starting the process, I figured I’d do it all myself with the help of the hotel event planners, but it soon became apparent that using a wedding planner for a destination wedding would be well worth it.
Isella was referred to me by the hotel and was able to connect us with excellent vendors for flowers, DJ, lighting, photography, and videography. All stellar professionals executed our vision flawlessly.
We hired her about 4-5 months before our wedding date and met every two weeks via zoom. Then a month and a half before the wedding, we traveled to Costa Rica to meet with her and a few vendors on site to go over our wedding details, which I highly recommend. Due to the rainy season (May) and humidity, we changed our reception location, so the pre-planning trip helped us make the final decisions for our day.
On the day of the wedding, Isella had a detailed timeline and made sure every vendor knew even the smallest of details to make our wedding memorable, perfect, and hands down magically flawless. -

When we decided on Costa Rica, a destination we had never been to, we choose to keep it that way by not visiting before our wedding weekend. This might be intimidating to some but we love the element of big surprises, and Ise made it so easy to trust her recommendations. Ise attended all of our pre-wedding meetings and tastings sending detailed recaps and her personal reviews. She also has extensive experience and connections in the hospitality industry so she could easily provide the highest quality vendors and navigate any items as they arose. She was also always able to provide inspiration photos, menus, and examples at the drop of a dime. Ise helped us plan guest transportation, a catamaran, welcome dinner, bridal and groom lunches, a departure brunch and all the details in between. Upon arrival to Costa Rica, everything was perfect, and I mean perfect! Ise went above and beyond on our wedding day; including personally carrying centerpieces in the rain to a different location due to some unexpected weather. When we started wedding planning, I knew I was going to need someone to help me and also someone else to drive crazy other than my fiancé about the wedding details. Before Ise, I was almost a month into it and didn’t have one single thing picked out. So when I ran across Isella’s page I immediately messaged her and shortly after we had the meeting with her and I just knew she was the one! Here we were thinking this was gonna be super stressful and time consuming, which I believe it usually is but with Ise it was a bliss!! I enjoyed every step of the way, she made it so easy and so fun. It was a lovely experience. Every time we talked about ideas I felt like a little kid at a candy store I wanted everything. Obviously we had a budget but I never felt like I had to say no to anything I loved because she kept that in mind and always gave us options that fitted perfectly with our vision and budget. Hiring Isella was the best wedding decision we could've made! Our wedding day was an absolute dream. It was beyond perfect and that is all owed to Isella.
She made she every last detailed was executed perfectly on the wedding day and the entire day flowed so well. Our guests were so impressed with everything and even commented on how it was the best wedding they've ever been to or seen.

Perfection
We cannot put into words the thoughtfulness, professionalism, helpfulness, and friendship we experienced working with Isella. We first met Isella when she was working with Andaz, a couple months before COVID hit the world. She helped us plan our big ticket items at that visit in just a couple of days. She was beyond helpful and was very attentive. We grew to know her during that trip and we felt like we have known her for years. When COVID hit we put our wedding planning on hold but kept in constant contact with Isella. She let us know that she had left Andaz and started her own company. The easiest part of this wedding planning experience was following her! We instantly hired her and could not have been more excited! Her attention to detail and her understanding of what we wanted out of our wedding was truly spot on. She listened, she gave us ideas, she knew what would work best. We know that wedding planning alone can be stressful, but planning an international wedding she helped with so many little details. Fast forward to our wedding week and when we arrived. Our whole wedding crew knew who she was. We couldn’t have raved about her more to our family. She was the most attentive person ever! Her response to everything was “Let me see what I can do.” I even joked about how much I loved Andaz hot sauce. She made sure I left with some! She was by our side through this entire experience and I truly believe we would not have not had our dream wedding if it was not for her. It was our wedding day and I was not even the slightest bit stressed. She thought of everything!

Our wedding was an absolute dream and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! My friends and family still talk about their entire experience in Costa Rica (November 2019). I know that I couldn’t have done it on my own and having Isella assist me throughout the planning process was a relief! Especially in the last few weeks of planning when final details and changes came up - Isella was calming and so accommodating in my most stressful moments! The day itself was flawless and so incredibly memorable- literally the best day of our lives and we have her to thank! She was organized, professional and shared her expertise and suggestion while helping our vision come to life! Her involvement cannot be measured when it came to our planning of transportation, our off-site catamaran cruise (remembering to include towels!), rehearsal dinner, vendor connections, even a fire show for our wedding night and SO much more. She helped customize our day in the smallest details like adding engraved coconuts as our welcome drink on every ceremony chair. She was there every step of the way and ensured all was smooth and seamless. We are so grateful for our experience with Isella and would recommend her service and support to anyone planning a memorable event!! -

Ise truly makes planning a destination wedding a stress-free experience. Even in the midst of COVID-19, she helped us connect with great vendors, stay positive, and stay on track. I worked with Isella to plan my wedding in Costa Rica. She was seriously amazing through the whole process. Super supportive and really listened to what I wanted and what I did not making adjustments along the way. After working together for some time I really felt like she completely understood what I wanted and she would send me so many amazing suggestions! We planned what I thought was my perfect dream wedding!
Unfortunately due to Covid and the borders being closed we did have to cancel for the time being. So We didn’t get to see the execution of the wedding but that does not change the wonderful experience I had with this vendor in planning! 10/10 would recommend -

Ise and the red velvet team was amazing! They went above and beyond in so many ways! I can’t even begin to write all the wonderful things for them. If I asked for it, they found a way to make it happen no matter the request. I wanted to list out some of the areas that we really appreciated extra:
* Helping coordinate a vet appointment for our dogs in Costa Rica super last minute due to new US regulations that came to light
* Decorating my vision to life and following my instructions to help make everything PERFECT
* They were very aware about our budget for the most part and were very patient and actively tried to help us come up with solutions without sacrificing our vision!
* They were very organized and sent out to-do lists every month on the date, had a payment tracker, etc. which we found very helpful
* They had a list of vendors ready to go to for us, which made our lives easier!
I will say they did seem to fall off the communications a bit once their wedding busy season started (ie multiple reminders for one item, kept pushing back sharing the wedding timeline was pushed back, decor or rentals until I reminded them). Additionally, they typically only recommend one option for vendors, making it difficult to negotiate, which I’m sure is true for many destination wedding planners. -

Ise and her team are very friendly and easy to work with. They walked us through each step of the process step by step and at our pace. Their organization in the google drive was amazing and gave us such peace of mind. Nothing was left to question.
We were so happy with the experience leading up to our wedding day but were blown out of the water when it came to the big day. I did not worry about a thing - truly. They handled every question the guest had, the decorations, the vendors...everything! They also kept us on schedule and worked in breaks so we were never overwhelmed.
Ise was open to feedback and was honest when she needed to be which I am thankful for. -
