Rachel was the absolute best wedding photographer. From our initial contact, she showed not only how communicative she would be, but also how kind, inspired, and fun she was. She has the best vibes and made us feel so comfortable. Not to mention, she takes the most amazing, beautiful photos!
She managed to capture moments that were so special, even those that happened briefly when I I didn't even know she was near me. She provided helpful direction (for those of us that feel awkward being photographed, this was a huge help), and everyone in the wedding party loved her. She got us our preview photos less than a week after the wedding, and I seriously can't wait to see the rest!
She was calm and punctual yet also had this pizazz and energy that made everyone feel happy and ready to be photographed. I gave her the smallest amount of direction and she ran with it, incorporating details and moments that I didn't even know I wanted. She is just good people. SO talented. And importantly, she knows how to run her business, and she does it well. I couldn't recommend her enough. -

Rachel was absolutely amazing - on the day of the wedding, you really appreciate her bubbly personality and positive energy to guide you through numerous back to back photos. Seriously so grateful for her. One thing I really appreciated was that she would quickly share her digital camera screen at times to ease your mind that she was capturing the moment beautifully. She also checked in multiple times to ensure that the all the important groups of friends and family combinations were captured. She was also great with kids and getting their attention for photos!
Would highly recommend the duo - Rachel and her husband Igor as a power photo/video combo - they worked so seamlessly together -

Rachel is the BEST THING that ever happened to our wedding day. I am a wedding planner by professional and knew how important it was to select the right photographer, it was a no brainer when we hired Rachel. I worked with her several times in the industry, then her & my now husband planned a surprise proposal for me, so it was the obvious choice to keep the special relationship going and have her by our side on wedding day! Her and her husband Igor flew all the way from the west coast to the mid west just to support us, and provided the most calm, efficient, caring, and organized services that we could have asked for. If her services, commitment, and kindness weren't enough, her PHOTOS ARE TO DIE FOR. She captured our day with the utmost respect, diligence, and intentional care, and we only have the sneak peek so far!!!!!!! If you’re thinking to yourself, “I have a friend who likes photography… I’ll have them take great pictures for my wedding AND I’ll save money!” STOP IMMEDIATELY. When it’s all over you’ll be left with a few anecdotes and some blurry pictures to remember one blur of a day. The only gift I can recommend you give yourself, is a photographer who cares as much as you do - about you having the best wedding experience.
I reached out to Rachel after finding her pictures online. I instantly fell in love; her pictures made me excited to be a bride. From the first email and phone call, her energy is amazing. She knows exactly what she’s doing and helped me fill in a lot of blanks for what my wedding day could be! She was always cheerful, easy to communicate with and professional. The pictures I got back from our engagement and wedding are so incredible. I have enjoyed showing them off and decorating our home with the greatest pictures taken of us.
I cannot stress enough how easily she put my husband and I at ease. She made us feel very comfortable having our pictures taken and helped bring a fun energy that carried through the day.
I was surprised how she quickly took on other roles that were not in her job description. Thank God she can figure her way around a bustle! All I can say is, she was a missing piece I didn’t know that my wedding day needed when I got started planning. Looking back it wouldn’t have been the same day without her.Rachel Syrisko's reply:

I've known Rachel for several years now and have worked together on many events in the Seattle area (I'm a wedding planner + she is a photographer!). Absolute wow
After flying into Washington not only for vacation but to have our engagement photos taken by Rachel we could not have had a better experience. Not only was it a stress free experience, being that we have never been to Washington, but our photos are absolutely outstanding. Rachel had us right where we needed to be at the perfect time, even keeping slower members of our party in line, to make sure everything was an amazing experience. Not only would I recommend you book Rachel for engagement photos but I wish my fiancé and I lived in the same half of the country so we could have booked her for our wedding photos too. We hired Rachel for our engagement photos and loved absolutely every minute of our shoot. Rachel was on time, upbeat, professional, and just an overall joy to work with. I usually don't feel comfortable in front of a camera but Rachel put both me and my fiancé at ease and made us feel completely relaxed. I loved how many wonderful photos we got from that day (it's so hard to pick just one or two for our Save the Dates!).Rachel Syrisko's reply:

Best Engagement Photographer
Rachel was a blast to work with! My fiancé wasn’t too excited for taking engagement photos, and came away thinking it was an incredible experience thanks to Rachel. It was a wonderful moment for us to connect after weeks of well-meaning, but overwhelming celebrations and well-wishes from friends after we got engaged. She was upbeat, funny, and made us comfortable right from the start of our session. She also worked with our dog to make sure he was part of the fun.
That was all about the experience, but let me tell you, the photos were even more amazing. She captured the love, excitement, and warmth of our relationship in a two hour session. We loved her work so much we booked her for our wedding day as well! Thank you Rachel! -

Rachel is bubbly, positive, and an incredibly skilled photographer! She managed to put everyone in my wedding at ease, even though none of us are naturally comfortable in front of a camera. She has the impressive ability to both make landscapes and people look stunning - her pictures highlighted both beautifully. She went above and beyond and even suggested the perfect location for our engagement photos. Her communication is prompt and professional. At our wedding she seemed to be everywhere at once yet never in the way - somehow capturing every moment! We cannot recommend Rachel enough after we hired her to be our wedding photographer. The first thing you will notice when you meet with her is her exceptional attitude, which was present through out the process. She turned into the MVP of the wedding day itself, as she went above and beyond filling the gaps when some of our other vendors proved to be less organized and less effective. She kept everyone and everything on a strict timeline without ever feeling overbearing. 10/10 would hire her again. -

I absolutely LOVED working with Rachel. She was punctual and so considerate. We had to reschedule 3 times due to COVID and she accommodated us without an extra charge. She promptly responded to all of my communications. We did both the engagement and wedding photos with Rachel. She was kind, fun, and professional both times. She also just rolled with the punches as unexpected events occurred during our wedding. She captured all the moments I wanted despite us running late behind schedule and was calm but bubbly the entire time. Many of guests commented on how great Rachel was and of course the photos were GORGEOUS. Her positive vibe is what anyone would need on their wedding day and your photos will be amazing. -

Rachel is the most friendly, caring, and don’t forget TALENTED photographer. Not only is her work amazing but she truly made my wedding day fun and enjoyable. Truly a fantastic photographer!
My husband and I are so happy that we decided to work with Rachel for our big day. She was so easy and accommodating to work with and we could tell she truly wanted to give us the best product possible. She was great with communication, always responding in a timely fashion. She went out of her way to make sure we got what we wanted from our wedding photos, and even drove several hours to a special spot for our engagement photos. Better than all that however is her wonderful personality - she is bright, funny, and engaging, and you can tell that she treats all her weddings as her most important priority. Best of all, she was a GREAT value in terms of pricing. My husband and I were on a more limited budget, but the quality of the photos was just as fantastic as if we had paid twice as much with someone else. We'd strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! My sister even decided to book her for a couples shoot after seeing our engagement photos.Rachel Syrisko's reply:

Go with rachel!
Words cannot describe how happy my husband and I were to have Rachel photograph our wedding! From beginning to end she was amazing! My husband and I met her in a pervious wedding we were in, and I instantly clicked with her. I thought to myself this girl is cool, I want to be best friends! I started to follow her on social media and was blown away on how beautiful her work is. We went with Rachel for obvious reasons for our wedding! She was great with communication, helpful on recommendations for varies things, and overall amazing. She was also very reasonable and accommodating when our venue cancelled last minute. She made a Covid brides life so much easier! After our wedding everyone who attended raved about how amazing Rachel was. We couldn’t have been happier with her or her work. Rachel is amazing!
I am so thankful that we were able to have Rachel as our wedding photographer. From the moment we first met with her, she made us feel like ourselves. Her fun and energetic personality made us both feel comfortable and as though she had known us for forever. She took the time to get to know who we were as a couple and what was important to our love story. When planning a wedding, the need for vendors to respond quickly to questions and changes in plans is crucial. Rachel is always super responsive in her emails and always willing to hop on a FaceTime call too. Her flexibility when planning a wedding during COVID has been amazing. I can't begin to explain how many times our wedding date and guest count changed over the past few months, but Rachel was always quick to respond and adaptable to our changes. The best part is through all the changes, chaos, and stress, Rachel cheers you on and reassures you how amazing everything will be. Her photography is absolutely beautiful. We had our sneak peaks the very next day and were so impressed. She does the perfect mix of capturing all the candid moments, but also helping my husband and I with some directions that helped us get amazing portraits. I can not recommend her enough! One of the best decisions I have made for my wedding (the other one was about who I married with XD).
Rachel was the photographer for both our engagement and wedding. It's such a fantastic experience working with her. She is very professional, kind and fun! Thank you Rachel for our photoshoot. From the day I reached out to her, I really felt like I had a new friend that truly cared! When we showed up for the photoshoot, I almost forgot this was the first time I was meeting her. We had so much fun with her the entire time. It was sad leaving Seattle (we were only visiting) because we felt like we had just met an amazing person and had to leave a beautiful state.

Rachel made the experience easy and flawless. She was comfortable to be around and got my boyfriend and I to open up and have fun with the photos. Rachel helped with location and it was stunning even had a pop up changing station for an outfit change. When we received the photos they were stunning, she does an amazing job with location, lighting, and editing. The quality was superb, in many of the photos it started rain, and you could see the rain falling but the photo was still crispy and focused on us it was amazing. I would recommend and use her again for our engagement and wedding photos! -
